Summary
Eve is a former primordial, exiled, and cursed exile seeking to survive in wakefulness. Presumably a native, she yearns for a sense of beauty and authenticity in a modern environment that she finds hostile and frivolous. She sprawls through the world trying to adapt to it gracefully while struggling internally with an unbearable pain that eats away at her, pushing her to destruction every time she thinks of her freedom.
Morpheus has partly lost his love for his role, reflecting on the monotony of an eternal life that does nothing but go round and round, losing himself in his role as a tool and forgetting his own identity.
A prophecy of catastrophic indoles is recited by The Moiras and both immortals get involved in each other's path, falling little by little into a sweet madness that could end the world and themselves.
