There was a drawing next to Adora's breakfast plate, depicting her and Catra kissing. She pulled Catra down into a kiss to match before applying herself to the delicious meal. Bright Moon's castle kitchen staff were always outdoing themselves. Catra said she'd already eaten, teased Adora about having slept in, and kept grabbing pieces from Adora's plate.
"If you'd drawn on paper I could have kept it." Adora touched the lines scratched into the surface of the tray. Then, reading Catra's expression, "I can't steal a tray from our friend's castle!"
"Sparkles won't mind," Catra asserted. "There's stacks of trays," she added, with casual disregard of property. She had probably been sneaking around the storage rooms again.
Catra put the empty dishes outside their door before hiding the tray under the bed.
"I'll hide it properly later," she declared. "We can guard it in our sleep until then."
Adora should have made another protest at the plan to rob Bright Moon, but instead said, "I just woke up."
Catra's tail slipped over Adora, tickling enticingly, as Catra settled back into bed. "So nap."
"A morning nap sounds good," Adora agreed, putting her arm around Catra to pull her closer yet.
