    When Lord Stark returned from the Islands with the boy, he looked too small for his ten years. But Luwin had studied all the different races of the realm and knew that’s how Krakens were. They grew up slowly but lived longer than the First Men and the Andals did. The boy had the distinctive fins in place of ears that all Krakens had, but his were large already, dwarfing his face in bright colors, pinks and purples with a hint of green.
