Chapter Text

Sun knew his routine better than anyone.
Wake up, eat something, go to the daycare, work, clean, clean some more, go home, clean more.. Then go to bed.

But sometimes it can be different on certain days where he's feeling younger..
Wake up, eat, realize the fuzziness he feels, internally panic, let the anxiety that will last the whole day course through himself, go to the daycare, work, clean, clean, clean... Clean more... Go home..
Clean till moon tells him to go to stop, which is when he comes home from the lab
which is usually midnight.. Or past midnight..

Sun usually scheduled his regression times.. On days off mostly.. Actually ONLY ON HIS DAYS OFF
Well.. Unless the daycare or the pizza Plex closes for some reason..

But he usually just stayed in his room to hide.. He was scared to tell the others.. Despite the fact that everyone knew lunar regressed, but he was scared that they'd feel differently about HIM if they found out HE regressed.

It was stupid. He knew that for a FACT. his family was so supportive. . And they were supportive of lunar..! But.. He wasn't lunar..

So there he sat.. Sitting on his bed with his pacifier and plushie wanting to be little but not being able to shake off his usual overwhelming anxiety.. He just wanted to relax..
Why cant he just relax...
He hid at the slightest of footsteps, and whimpered at the slightly of sounds..

Though.. He was more anxious than he usually was.. Mostly because he's been thinking about telling moon...

Sun sighed and put his cat plush and his yellow pacifier under his pillow
Then he got up

And just his luck that moon was in the kitchen.. Damn..

"Hey moon... Uh.. Can we talk..?" Sun fidgeted with his sleeve nervously

Moon knew there was something wrong with sun, sun was MORE anxious than usually, especially for a 'serious talk'

"Im all ears sun, especially because you seem scared.."

sun didn't notice until now but his hands were trembling, so he clasps his hands together

"Uh.. Yeah.. So i wanted to tell you something important because your my brother and i trust you.."

Moon raised a eyebrow

"So.. Y'know how lunar... regresses...? I-i wanted to uh- tell you that i-"

Before sun could finish his sentence moon interrupted him

"Are you trying to tell me that you regress too?"

And just like that the floodgates in suns eyes opened and he was a crying mess

"Woah woah- sun its okay!" Moon rushed over to sun and put his hands on suns shoulders

Sun let out a choked sob as he then hugged moon, moon then wrapped his arms around sun

"Sshhhh... Shhhh... Hey its okay.. I would never judge you for anything you do.. Lets go sit down m'kay?"

sun thought for a minute

"O-okay.." Sun felt moon grab his hand and lead him to the living room

Sun and moon sat down on the couch next to each other in comfortable silence, with the exception of suns small hiccups and sniffles as he leaned against his twin who didn't mind the feeling of suns oily tears wetting his black turtle neck.

moon was just happy sun could get something off his chest.

Chapter Text

Relaxing.

Dispite EVERY hard thing that eclipse has done the hardest thing for him is relaxing.

So here he was.
Sitting next to ruin in the theater with charlie andrew and Ballora nearby
Ballora said that she'd 'control the children for him' while the movie played
They were watching something called 'nimona' or whatever.

Its only been what. 30 minutes? And somehow eclipse ended up with his head on ruins lap, tired out of his mind.
He had a nap ONE TIME this month and SUDDENLY his body is yearning for it!

...

He was to tired to get up though, his body didn't want to move.
He was comfortable.

and the way ruin petting eclipses rays was NOT helping, it just made him not want to get up more
He curses himself for not liking physical touch but yearning for it at the same time...

He didn't even realise he was chewing on his fingers till ruin grabbed his hand and guided his hand away gently

"No eclipse.. Dont do that.." Ruin said in THAT tone. That damn tone that he used when talking to the kids or when he was trying to comfort others.

Eclipse was to tired to respond to him
he just laid there watching the projected movie and he was barely even processing what he was watching .

Everything felt fuzzy to him

He didn't know why.

His eye lids felt heavy.

He felt safe.

And god forbid he ever admits that ruin was actually the one making him feel safe right now.
Thats stupid.

Ruins stupid.

This whole situation was stupid.

Him falling asleep was stupid.
But he couldn't stop that.

Chapter Text

Eclipse ran into his lab.

Ruin needs my help.
How is he gonna help him?
HOW.
He has to have something right?
Right?

Eclipse rummaged around with different devices on his work bench and on his desk, parts, tools, blue prints, the portal- WHY IS IT ON!?

and before he could react a blinding light consumed his vision
And fell into a ballpit. No. NO. NONONONONONONONO. HE NEEDS TO GO HOME NOW, RUIN NEEDS HIM.

Eclipse stood up and climbed up out of the ballpit and saw some familiar faces. Fucking moon monty and solar.

God dammit.

Why couldn't it be earth or literally anyone else!

"Heeeyy dude!" Monty said as they approached him
"Whatcha doin here?" Monty grabbed eclipses shoulders and pulled him to his feet

"My portal was turned on for SOME REASON." eclipse said with his voice laced with annoyance and aggression
"Now if you'll excuse me, id like to go HOME."

"thats gonna be a issue" moon spoke up "the portal broke, but we can fet it fixed in a bit"

Broken. ECLIPSE DIDN'T HAVE TIME FOR THE PORTAL TO BE BROKEN.

"WHAT!?" Eclipse yelled "i need to be home NOW."

"sorry budbut its gonna take a bit, nothing to long-" moon what cut off by eclipse yelling again

"I WANT TO GO HOME." eclipse voice was filled with aggression and.. Stress...?

"Dude chill out-" solar approaches eclipse

Eclipse steps back

"Okay thats it" monty then grabbed eclipse and picked him up "you are gonna take a breather"
eclipse struggled against monty but they barely budged
Monty then sat eclipse down on the security desk

Eclipse crossed his arms and glared at the gator

"Yeah yeah glare at me all ya want but you clearly aint in a good headspace right now, you usually aren't THIS hostile" monty flicked eclipses forehead

Eclipse just grumbled in response as he watched monty walk away to go help solar and moon with the portal

He needs to go home now.
He needs to help ruin.
Ruin is SOMEWHERE being held captive by some LUNATIC OF A EX???

He NEEDS to help him.. HE CANT HELP HIM WHEN HES STUCK IN A DIFFERENT DIMENSION.

"whats got you in such a mood?"

Eclipse looked up from his lap and saw moon speaking to him

"None of your business.." Eclipse said in response

"Damn okay no need to be so rude about it" moon observed eclipses face before grabbing eclipses face gently

"H-hey!?" Before eclipse could do anything else moon wiped a tear that eclipse didnt even know he had from his eye with his thumb

"Now i definitely know something is going on... Your not much of a cry-er"

"Why would you care..!?" Eclipse snapped at moon

"Because im not a uncaring bitch, i might not like tou but im not gonna be cruel to you." Moon moved his hand away
he knew eclipse didn't like to be touched

"Fixing the portal wont take long, whatever you did definitely burnt a wire or two" he climbed onto the desk next to eclipse

"I-i want to go home..." That feeling, mixed with so many others he cant explain.
That damn fuzzy feeling again.

"Why do you want to go home so badly?" Moon asked as he watches solar and monty fiddle around with the portal.

"Ruins in trouble.. A-and i need to help him but i cant if im stuck HERE... IM USELESS..." eclipse gripped the stupid shirt he always wears

Stupid.
Stupid.
This is all so stupid.
Hes stupid.
Moon is stupid.
Solar is stupid.
Monty is stupid.
Everyone is stupid.

moon hopped off the security desk
"Ill go help those two so you can go home quicker" moon then walked off

Leaving eclipse alone
By himself
With only his thoughts..
...
Hes not gonna save ruin like this.
Useless.
Useless.
Useless eclipse.
Cant even take care of himself properly
Stupid, stupid eclipse.

Its been what? A few minutes? monty moon and solar were almost done

"Hey monty?" Moon called from across the ball pit

"Yeah?" Monty turns to look at moon

"Mind checking on eclipse?" Moon had a bad gut feeling but played it off

"Sure, ill be back" monty stood up and walked off
He made his way under the bridge and towards the security desk
Only to be met with the face of a ugly crying and sobbing eclipse sitting on the floor instead of the desk

"Jesus man what happened!?" Monty ran over to him

Eclipse tried to speak but the only thing that came out of him was gibberish, hiccups and sobs

Monty put their hand on his shoulder but eclipse soon tried to shove their hand away

"Cmon man im just tryna help ya..." Monty just got a choked whine as a response from eclipse

Other footsteps soon could be heard

"Monty? Whats going on- eclipse!?" Moon ran over while solar follows behind him, moon knelt down to eclipse while solar stood over him

Eclipse felt trapped, surrounded by three people he hates with such pity on their faces.
He hates it.
He hates them.
He hates-

Eclipses thought process was interrupted by moon wiping his face with a tissue

Eclipse wanted to smack his hand away but monty was holding his hands down
So eclipse just sat there pouting while moon wipes away his tears

"Your gonna go home soon.. I promise..." Moons tone of voice eas ever so Suttle and gentle

It made eclipse want to vomit

He did feel sick, maybe a little dizzy.

Tired.

Hes tired again.

And falling over, but he couldn't stop that.
