If you open any Daibazzal history book you will find the history of the royal line of Daibazzal. Princess Krolia was born to Queen Ivella and King Aslan. During the queen's and king's reign the land suffered a 2-year long drought. With very little land for the citizens to grow food many of their subjects starved. The king and queen had only one solution form an alliance with the nearby kingdom of Naxzela, they were a recent kingdom with little citizens but much bountiful land.
They engaged their 16 year old daughter, at the time, to the young prince of Naxzela. Prince Zarkon and Krolia were married 2 years later, saving the people from starvation. Naxzela allowed Daibazzal to use their land for growing crops. As Naxzela was a small kingdom they joined Daibazzal and stayed with the Country name of Daibazzal. Krolia gave Zarkon an heir a year later named Axca. She took after her mother.
All seemed peaceful until a couple months after Axca was born Queen Krolia went on a diplomatic mission to strengthen ties with Altea. Krolia had just made it to the Altean border when she and her entourage were attacked by Altean thieves.
Krolia was murdered that day. The kingdom of Daibazzal mourned her lost and Zarkon vowed to make this right. He set his eyes on Altea promising blood shed and to start a war for what occurred to the Queen.
In a desperate attempt to show good faith and to fix their relationship. Queen Melenor asked her trusted friend Honerva for help.
Honerva went to go meet Zarkon, she lived with him for 2 years before she married him and fell pregnant. She gave birth to a son Lotor. Princess Axca was the last remaining of the pure bloodline, because of this the people accepted Lotor as the new crown prince and the new bloodline, if anything were to happen to the Princess.
Zarkon and Honerva saw this as a way to conquer Altea and expand the kingdom of Daibazzal. Each kingdom produced it's own Essential resource and no other kingdom was able to create a duplicate of that resource.
The three powerful Kingdoms of Altea, Earthus, and Daibazzal all bordered eachother. Altea lead the exports in Junipers. A flower with healing properties. Earthus broght most of its wealth from its exports of technology advancements, and it's wisedom. Daibazzal was the main resource for dangerous yet powerful minerals, one such mineral only Galrans, citizens from Daibazzal, could activate.
By conquering Altea, Daibazzal would have been stronger. Their reign secured for generations. Some say it was almost supernatural or magical how quickly greed filled their hearts.
Zarkon ordered and lead the attack on Altea ~12 years later, after meticulous planning. He killed Queen Melenor and King Alfor. Civilians and nobles on both sides began to suffer. The neutral kingdom of Earthus opened it's borders to refugees and some royals as well.
Zarkon conquered Altea and quickly brought extinction to the Alteans. Aswell as setting fires to the majority of Altea's Juniper fields. However, some survived. They went into hiding and it wasn't until Allura, crowned princess of Altea came of age and together with her cousin Lawrence Lancelot, Lance, were they able to lead a rebellion and take back Altea.
Zarkon and Honerva were not killed but they were injured and escaped before they could be captured.
Lance and Allura spent the next 3 years rebuilding Altea. With their trusty advisor Coran and their diplomatic ambassador Romelle. Even the Royals of Earthus gave aid as they were friends with Lance.
Now here we are Daibazzal is under the rule of Princess Axca, Prince Lotor her trusted right hand. The country is in a state of amends after everything the previous rulers had done. The princess also sits on a temporary throne she is to be advised and trained before she can become queen. The people of Daibazzal have chosen the leader of a rebellion group, when Zarkon was king, Kolivan, as her mentor.
Kolivan was a dear friend to Krolia, so he was honored to take up the role.
Kolivan and his generals during the rebellion make up the Princess's royal consuel, together they rule Daibazzal and are working on strengthening the country and it's alliances.
However history is told by the victors, and heavy are their spoils. What you are about to read will not be found in any history book. This is the truth of what acutally happened years ago and what starts our tale.
Queen Krolia survived...
Zarkon ordered her execution...
The war from Daibazzal is far from over...
Krolia had her suspicions about Zarkon but gave him an heir as it was her duty. She was going to Altea to strengthen their relationship but also to sell out Zarkon and ask for help with his defeat. She had left Axca in the care of her trusted advisor and planned to come back for her after making Altea aware of Zarkon. So, she left with a couple of attendants to Altea as soon as she could. Zarkon found out about her plan and sent Sendak, his most trusted general to kill her for treason. He then made up a lie that painted Altea in a bad light and no one questioned him because Sendak hired Altean hit man to aid in the attack.
However, Krolia was a trained warrior and while she couldn't save everyone she did save herself. She escaped with her scars and bruises and pretended to have fallen of a cliff so Sendak would think her dead.
She was saved by an Earthus knight. A kind man with dark hair and pale skin. He brought her to his cottage on castle grounds. The knight, Austin, already had a son his name was Takashi nicknamed Shiro. Shiro's mother was a noblewomen who died during childbirth making Shiro the heir to house Shirogane.
Shiro got along well with Krolia. Shiro took it as having a mother again. Krolia's injuries required time to heal at first she was hesitant to accept Austin's help but slowly she opened up to him. Explaining who she was and how she ended up there. How her main concern was saving Axca how she was worried about what Zarkon would do now.
However, any news about Daibazzal was scarce. Earthus was a neutral country and with little relationship to Daibazzal they weren't sure what was going on. Krolia was fooled by this false sense of security and let herself fall for Austin's. She saw how kind and caring he was she felt genuine love for him. It wasn't long before Krolia was expecting Keith. When she held him in her arms she vowed he would know peace...
13 years later...
Zarkon lead his attack on Altea.
Earthus couldn't send soldiers by force but those willing went to bring aid. Earthus opened it's gates to refugees. Austin went and never returned. An honored and decorated warrior met his end on the battle field. After receiving the news Krolia left a 19 year old Shiro, and a 13 year old Keith to the palace's care.
No one knows where she went or if she even survived...
