The Rooney home felt like a second one to you, the family was great, and despite the annoying crush Joey had on you, You liked the family. "Hey, Liv said, smiling." You came over." "I do every day, Liv, You chuckle." Fashion advice or gossip this time? Oh, and what about Holden?" You had a lot of gossip to make up for, you were on vacation for a week, constantly texting Liv and Maddie.
"Hey there, Joey grins, flirtatiously. "For the last time, You laughed." I'm not really into you, Joey. Maybe giving Willow a chance would help. She really likes you." "Is it the nerd look? He asked.
"No, I just see you like a brother, that's all."
Maybe if you hadn't practically grown up with him, You'd see him differently, just like the youngest Rooney. "Stop flirting with every one of my friends, Joey, Liv said, it seemed like she was serious though. You hurry up the stairs, just so the 13-year old Rooney wouldn't come in to be weird. It's so strange, like they've never seen any other girl in their lives. "So, me and Holden, didn't work out, Liv said." I mean, we're alike, but I got feelings for someone else."
"Oh, really, You said. "It's a shame. I liked the two of you together." "Well, i also realized I might've been bi, Liv admits. You hug her. "That's also wonderful, Liv. I support you 100%. Did Andie make you realize this? I mean, I'd get it."
"no, she laughed. "well, no one was. i just figured it out on my own, i like both." "i'm glad, you said. "look, [name], liv said."i've been waiting to-"
"[name]!"
Maddie comes in, interrupting the conversation. Liv rolls her eyes." Hold on, Could I have a moment with Maddie?" You nodded." Of course, twin sister moment." You smile, leaving the room, which might've been a mistake. "I've been looking for you, Parker said. You sigh, a smile forming on your face." What messed up experiment did you make now, Mad scientist?"
He was kind of an evil scientist, more so, mischievous and all. Somehow though, they usually worked. He's smarter than you, that's for sure. "It better not be so stupid, You comment. "When did you underestimate the mastermind? He asks, dramatically. "Oh, I've never, You said, ruffling his hair." You're growing on me." "I sure hope so! He said. He's nice, usually, but, he can be an evil little brother too.
You're an only child, so you don't experience that. At least here, you kind of do.
"Wow, he's nicer to you than any of us, Joey said. "oh please, he scares me sometimes, you said, hitting his shoulder playfully."i better get going anyway. my mom will actually kill me."
one of the reasons you found having a crush on Joey weird was, it never came natural to you to think like that. In all honesty, You thought he deserved someone like willow, who did like him for him. You like him, but not the way he wants you to, and you may never feel that way.
Your mother expected you to come home.
"I'm glad you came home when i told you to, She said. "Well, I'm not in the mood to make you mad, so, of course, You say, jokingly." Where's Dad?" "He's working late tonight, She said."you know, you should try to give Joey a chance. He's a good." "Oh wow, so, everyone knows? You joke." Mom, I think he's sweet, but if i hear that one more time, i might die. he's like a brother to me."
"I know, She smiled." The Rooneys are good people." Technically, your parents became friends with theirs first. Naturlaly, you'd get along with the kids. Mainly Liv and Maddie. "I've got some homework to do, so, call me down for dinner, You said. You had homework and studying to do. You unfortunately had a test in english tomorrow. you hated english, just like how you hated math. neither were good subjects.
In your room, you forgot your window had been left open. You see that you had been left gifts. "Secret admirer, huh? You grin. You thought it might've been sweet. The flowers, the candy. Who was trying to woo you over?
"Maybe that annoying guy at school, You mutter. But still, what weirded you out was someone brought them in your house. Your mom probably would've known. Anyway, You weren't interested in anyone, not really. Girls or guys. Romance just didn't come naturally to you. You suck at feelings, overall. Your mom even told you that, in a nicer, motherly way.
"Feelings isn't your forte, honey, She said." And that's okay. It's uncomfortable for you."
You try getting that out of your head. If this happens often, then you'll be fine. You have something to look forward to. Someone who liked you. Hopefully, they knew you well enough, though.
You had gotten more happier but at school and hanging out, Liv and Maddie had been acting strange. For one thing, super protective. “No, he’s kind of a bad person, so is she, Liv might’ve said one day.
Oh, and those super sweet love notes? Became creepy at day. And also more violent. It became too scary for you. ”Yeah. I thought I’ve might have wanted a secret admirer, You said to them when you were hanging out.
"Creeps, Maddie comments. "Although, just stay by us and you'll be fine." You sigh. "Maybe you're right, being by friends might make me feel more safer. Liv, can you fight off a creep well?" You're joking, she knows, they both do. They know you so well it's sometimes scary. Until one day, You began feeling a bit, controlled too much. "okay, i have some space, you said.
"well, we want to help you, maddie said."or at least one of us can." Liv frowned. "Seriously, making this into a competition?" You snuck away, to get some fresh air on your own. This was, overwhelming.
Not to mention the next day, when, a girl you sort of liked, had gone missing. His body being found a couple days later, a brutal murder.
