   Summary

   This is a story of how Lex ended up with a black glove and eventually lost his hand - canonically divergent from every source material I've researched. Set in Smallville - no particular season or episodes, I used what I needed.

   Clark and Lex are on the verge of a breakup. Lex no longer trusts his boyfriend and so he decides to keep any details of a Kryptonite disease causing him chronic pain from him. Will Clark find a way back to Lex's heart? Is it too late for Lex to ever heal?
