Pollux was in a great mood, he was relaxing in his cabin with Castor who was reading a heavy ass mythology book.
“You’re such a nerd Castor,” Pollux said.
“Shut up, your boyfriend is a nerd,” Castor snapped.
“And he’s a hot nerd!” Pollux snapped back.
“Simp.” Castor said.
Pollux was about to snap back with a witty comment when there was a knock on the door, Pollux looked at Castor and he rolled his eyes, he got up and opened the door, it was Lee.
Lee looked so elegant in the sun, he was his father’s son after all, and he had that stupid grin of his on his face. Pollux smiled as Lee grinned, he came into cabin twelve and sat down on the couch next to him.
“Oh I am not third wheeling, later.” Castor said, he left the cabin and closed the door on his way out.
“How was your infirmary shift sunshine?” Pollux asked.
“Good, unfortunately my sisters just had to jump Drew, Silena threatened to burn down the infirmary because of it,” Lee replied, he let out a groan and buried his head in Pollux’s shoulder.
“I really hate your sisters,” Pollux said.
“I love them but I can't stand them, especially with how they’ve been for the last month,” Lee said.
Pollux ran his fingers through Lee’s curls as Lee let out a sigh.
“Your sisters are brats, and they need to get their act in order before you lose your fucking mind,” Pollux said.
“I’m so sick of them tormenting the sweetest kids at this camp just because of who they like,” Lee said.
“I know.” Pollux said.
Lee sat there for a while just relaxing with Pollux, he looked up at him and grabbed his hand, kissing it.
“I like your hands,” Lee said randomly.
“Do you have a thing for hands or something?” Pollux asked.
Lee blushed, actually blushed, “i don't, but i do love holding your hand, i wish we could tell everyone now,” he said.
“We could forget our original plan and tell everyone now,” Pollux said.
“Nah, I'd rather wait, I don't need Sophie calling me a slur,” Lee said.
“Okay, besides your sisters, how was your day?” Pollux asked.
“It was great, I snuck out with Selene and Celeste at one am and we went to the city, and I had to chug some coffee with a drop of nectar when we got back an hour before breakfast,” Lee replied.
Pollux grinned and ruffled his boyfriend's hair, Lee smiled.
“Without me?” Pollux teased.
“We’ll go out tonight, i don't have an infirmary shift tomorrow,” Lee promised.
“Okay sunshine.” Pollux said.
“How was your day?” Lee asked.
“Great, I spent most of the last two hours playing video games with Castor and Verity came in to hang out with us, but she was mostly hanging out with Indigo in the Hermes cabin,” Pollux replied.
“That’s great,” Lee said.
Lee laced his hands with Pollux’s and cuddled up next to him, Pollux grinned.
“Do Apollo kids need an hour of cuddling with their significant others just to survive?” Pollux asked.
“We do actually, it’s on page four of the child of Apollo handbook,” Lee replied, he shot up and kissed Pollux steadily, pulling apart after a minute.
“Nerd,” Pollux said.
“Dork,” Lee said.
“You’re such a nerd, I love you,” Pollux said.
Lee looked at him, a shocked look on his face, Pollux realized what he said and smiled sheepishly.
“Sorry-” Pollux started to say when Lee kissed him again, he pulled apart and looked at Pollux.
“I love you too.” Lee said.
Lee grabbed his hands again, lacing his fingers through Pollux’s and burying his head in Pollux’s shoulder.
“You’re really cuddly today,” Pollux commented.
“I just really like you Pol,” Lee said.
“I like you too, even though you’re a nerd,” Pollux said.
“Says the guy who was talking to me during my shift yesterday about his dad’s myths,” Lee said, a grin on his stupid face.
“They’re interesting!” Pollux exclaimed.
“I really don't need to know what your dad and Lady Adriane did on their wedding night,” Lee said, raising an eyebrow.
“Lee, sunshine, that’s really the only thing you took out of the conversation?” Pollux asked.
“It is, I'm sorry, tell me about your dad’s myths again,” Lee replied.
“Okay, that one myth where he was traveling with his followers and got more followers in Thebes, and the king was all like, “no go away,” and my dad camped out outside of Thebes and the king went down to see what the rage was about and then got torn apart by my dad’s followers and also his own mom who was inflicted with madness,” Pollux rambled.
“Pollux, what the fuck?” Lee said.
“It’s my dad sunshine, why would you expect sanity from his myths? He’s the god of insanity , not sanity,” Pollux said, Lee rolled his eyes.
“That was a great one liner, but it just caught me by surprise,” Lee said.
“Ah, wanna hear more?” Pollux asked.
“Yeah, ‘Course,” Lee replied.
“Remember when my dad got kidnapped by sailors who thought he was a prince and then my dad turned them mad and then turned them into dolphins?” Pollux asked.
“You’ve told me that one before,” Lee replied.
“Do you like it?” Pollux asked.
“I love anything you say, so yes,” Lee replied.
“Sappy.” Pollux said.
Lee was about to say something when the door opened and it was Verity and Castor who were chatting.
“And then I told Sophie she could shove a stick up her ass with that attitude and she looked like she wanted to murder me, oh, hi Lee,” Verity said.
“Hey, don't worry about what you’re saying about Sophie, she deserves everything that you say to her,” Lee said.
“Okay, were you making out with my brother?” Verity asked.
Lee blushed, “I wasn't,” he said.
“As fun as this fruit fest is, Lee, Will’s looking for you,” Castor said.
“Okay, I'll see you later.” Lee said, he kissed Pollux and left.
“So, who wants to watch a movie until we have to go to dinner?” Pollux asked.
“I do!” Verity exclaimed.
Verity grabbed a movie off the dvd shelf and put it into the player, she sat down on the couch.
Pollux spent the next hour and a half watching a movie, he drifted off to sleep as it was almost over, feeling excited for the night.
