Chapter 2: “I hate your hugs.” Goob+Shrimpo+Scraps+Brightney

Summary:

Shrimpo shaves Goob’s fluff off,Goob hates it and says he’s ugly,Scraps convinces him that he’s not ugly and Shrimpo then apologises because of regret.

Chapter Text

Shrimpo was tired of it,Tired of Goob hugging him,Tired of Goob as a whole.So,The best thing to do is make goob feel terrible.

‘Twas a normal day in Gardenview,Toons lounging around and chatting,This was after hours when everyone had gone home and they had some free time!Goob was asleep on a bench,He was tired out after a busy day.This was a perfect chance for Shrimpo,He has gotten the razor to shave the fur off.Everyother toon began to make their way to their rooms,Scraps was busy talking to Brightney she didn’t realise.Once everyone had gone to their rooms or somewhere else,It was time to put the plan into action.

“Fuck..” He mumbled,Blood slowly trickled down from where Goob’s fluff was,Shrimpo didn’t mean to be so rough with the razor…He quickly ran to the kitchen and looked around,Seeing some paper roll he grabbed it and cleaned the blood up.Then he shaved the rest of Goob’s fluff off,Making sure to clean up any blood.He put the bloody paper in the bin and put the paper roll back in the kitchen.Then he went to his room like nothing happened.

The next day,Shrimpo was in his room,Punching his punching bags.He could hear someone crying from somewhere,He poked his head out the door and saw goob crying,Goob went into his and Scraps shared room and the sound of Scraps talking to goob while he wept could be heard.Shrimpo heard the occasional word or two and he slowly began to regret what he did.Why did he do it?He shook the thought away,He can’t apologise,Not now anyway.

Scraps rubbed Goob’s back, “Goob,I promise you your still as handsome as you used to be..Just look at me please.” She leaned forward trying to get him to look at her,He refused to look at her,Keeping his head in his hands. “I can’t..I’m not!” He mumbled between sobs.Scraps sighed, “Why don’t we do some colouring?” She reached into a drawer and pulled out some Crayons and a colouring book,She put it down on the floor and Goob sat down and began colouring,Scraps didn’t know what to do.Goob would barely talk to her anymore or explain anything. “I’ll be back soon goob.” She glanced at him before she left the room.

She went to Brightney’s room to confide in her,She told Brightney everything about how worried she was and about how Goob was acting. “Maybe wait until he’s feeling a little more confident,You can’t blame him really it’s a bug change for him and he just doesn’t know how to handle it?” Scraps looked at Brightney,Tears In her eyes, “But that’s not the point Brightney,I feel like I can’t leave him alone,He was talking about killing himself!” She leant on Brightney’s shoulder and and Brightney put and arm around her. “If you feel like that and he won’t talk to you just stay near him,” Scraps nodded, “Thanks Brightney,I really needed that..” Brightney smiled at her, “No worries,I’m always here for you.I’ll be in my room if you need me.” Scraps hugged Brightney and left her room,Walking into her’s and Goob’s room,He was still colouring which was good,She crouched down and started colouring with him.

After an hour of doing colouring together,Goob finally looked up and at scraps, “Sis.” She looked up at him, “Yeah…?” He swallowed nervously, “I’m sorry,I didn’t mean to stress you that much I was just afraid of the big change..” She hugged him, “It’s okay,I forgive you.Just don’t do it again..Do you know who did it?” Goob shook his head and hugged her back.Just then the door creaked open,Shrimpo walked in looking at the floor,He had his hands behind his back,He walked over. “Goob I’m the one who shove your fluff off,I wasn’t thinking when I did it and I regret it.” He held out a New,152 pack of crayons crayons and a new colouring book.Goob looked up at Shrimpo. “Just don’t hug me anymore.” Shrimpo looked away from him at the wall.Goob stood up and walked over to Shrimpo. “Okay and thanks.” he took the crayons and Colouring book from Shrimpo. “I promise I won’t hug you anymore.” Goob smiled at Shrimpo and Shrimpo left.

Vee was sitting her room overheating,She tried to cool herself down but no matter what it wouldn’t work,She even contemplated pouring ice cold water over herself but that would make it worse.She’d had a very stressful and tiring day today,Plus she just wasn’t herself lately.Ater all finding out you were supposed to have an upgrade which would change you completely wasn’t a nice thing to hear. Astro was sitting in gardenview area on one of the benches,His blanket wrapped around him.The other toons were also in gardenview area too,Where they used to meet the kids sometimes. (The lobby) He hadn’t seen Vee a since she supposedly left and went to ‘Fix some coding’.It has to have been more than that right?His thoughts were interrupted by Shelly showing him a cake,The cake was orange with a brown t-rex on top and red hearts around it on the sides. “Astro,isn’t it cool?Sprout made it for me!” Astro nodded and then Shelly skipped away over to tisha,A little while later teagan approached with shrimpo, “Astro,Dear,would you car to join me for a tea party later?” Astro shrugged “I’ll be busy,Sorry…” Teagan nodded and kept walking, “I NEVER WANTED YOU TO GO ANYWAYS ASTRO!I HATE YOU!” Shrimpo yelled back at him. Vee was still sitting ontop of her bed when there was a knock at her door,She managed to cool herself down with a fan or two. “Come in.” She called out,Her monotone voice familiar to Astro as he opens the door. “It’s only me,Vee.I came to check on you..” He said as he approached her sitting upon her bed,Vee felt confused.Something she never felt often.
