Khan had been working on another door prototype, one that would have voice recognition for outpost 7. It had been a long day so as he was setting stuff back to not leave a mess and lose everything. As he was picking up his last pens... they just sorta flew to his hand... He didn't realize what he did at first... As the thought caught up to him, he just foze there, trying to process what he had just done...
Khan put down the pen and tried again... His hand flashed witha weak while solver symbol... It slowly rose up to his hand... Khan was in absolute total shock, realizing that something was up... If it was Nori or Uzi playing a prank on her it would be purple and he knows Yeva will not use her solver for something like this... so the only real option is that he has somehow contracted it too...
"H- hey spook..? Can you come here?" He asked from his office, clearly nervous...
"Yeah, my pain lover", Nori responded, walking over to the office.
As she got in, she was shoked as she saw Khan using a weakened version of the solver... Nori's instinct kicked in and she immediately ran to the desk, hopped on it and held Khan's hand down, as a quiet way to tell him to not use it...
"... do you know how you got it..?" She asked worried...
"N- no... I was just cleaning stuff when i accidentally used it and picked up a pen with it!" He said in panic, very clueless on what happened.
Nori quickly pulled out a small box of charms and jewelry that the two had made that all have an antivirus. Khan took out a necklace he could easily hide under his shirt to not let anyone know...
"Hey love... Its going to be ok..." Nori said in an uncharacteristically calm and gentle tone, trying to comfort him.
"But how could this happen..? And what does this mean in the future?..." He asked, clearly very nervous about the new grown power... It was clearly too much for him to handle...
... his breathing began to get uneven... Nori quickly got him to lay on the ground and began petting his head a little while just trying to talk about better stuff (mainly cool door stuff he can do) and slowly calming him down... It helped slowly, but surely, as he could feel himself start to feel back on eart with less panic
"Don't worry, love... If you start feeling strange, just come to me, ok... I can help", she said supportively as she helped him to sit under his desk for a bit to be away from the flickering light... She made sure that neither of them were needed (Yeva was already brought home) before quietly telling him to just relax and that the two can sleep there, and they did. The two relaxed, Khan holding Nori. There wasn't any background noise that would wake up either of them, so the two ended up falling asleep, just listening to each other's heartbeats and soft purring of their fans
