Jack had a great idea about bonding with Danny, and Maddie agreed it was a great idea. They would teach their boy how to cook.

However, aside from fudge and cookies, they can’t cook anything without it ending up inedible.

Danny and Jazz Knew that, but Jack and Maddie didn’t.

Which brings us to the current situation. 

Jack and Maddie were planning to teach Danny how to make simple spaghetti and sauce.

But they set a perfectly normal pot with water on fire on the normal stove.

Not even Clockwork would be able to tell how the Fenton did it.
