Alright this isn’t a first chapter, but

WELCOME TO Daybreak: A place worse than the mist

The main plot is that the daybreak survivors and killers, except stareater, all end up in a version of starcademy where everybody was killed and turned into stareaters minions, so now they have to do something they would’ve never thought of doing before, finding a way to return to the mist

This story isn’t like any other story, however, because you, the reader, actually get to choose the fate of the next chapter, be it a chapter where the protagonists (the survivors and killers) get a small victory or the antagonists (stareater and his revenants) get a small victory, to balance this out, if a certain side has too many good or evil victories, the next chapter will be given to the opposite team, no matter the votes

Also it will only have CANON ships (so no eman x yronica, mamo x dakota, yan x serena, Nathan x P3-NG, Kyle x Yeona, etc)

Riley was looking around the school grounds confused, one minute him and Yeona were being chased by slasher, the next, he’s in this strange school, at first he thought it was Lakeview, but now he knows it’s not Lakeview, he began searching around with a flashlight he found when he pointed it on the wall, a trophy cabinet, when he shined his light on it, it showed a school news article “RILEY WEST, JUN INAGAKI AND CALLUM GALLAGHER WIN STATE FINALS, WELL DONE BOYS”

”Huh? I never played football with Jun and Callum before the mist” he said to himself, confused

Slasher suddenly appeared from around a wall, aiming a throwing knife, which Riley saw

”WAIT! NOT YET!” Riley yelled to slasher who looked at him confused

”Give me a good reason to not stab you right here and now” Slasher said, crossing his arms

”Look at this news article” Riley said, pointing his flashlight at the news article

Slasher looked at it confused “…you played football with Callum and Jun? So what”

”I never played football with them before the mist though” Riley said a bit distressed as slasher realised the gravity of this situation

”A third timeline..? As if having to see my dead wife ever trial wasn’t bad enough, and let me guess, this timelines Wren and Tabitha life happy” slasher groaned

”Uh you know Tabitha?” Riley asked, confused

”Tabitha was my ex wife in the timeline we come from Riley” slasher answered

”Ex..?” Riley asked confused

”Stalker killed her and my kids in cold blood, but now that we’re out of the mist, I’ll kill that fucking midget” he said with a scowl, slasher had been waiting for the moment he could kill stalker, and now he was free from the mist’s control and could kill freely, he wanted one thing only, kill Taliyah

”Listen dude, we don’t know if Taliyah is even here, we should atleast look around the school first, we might be the only ones here for all we know” Riley said

“…fine, just stay out of my way” slasher said as he walked off

”Grouchy as always” Riley commented when slasher was out of sight before he looked around and pointed his flashlight to the roof, where a sign with a left and right arrow was on it, the left arrow led to the cafeteria while the right arrow led to the gymnasium

”Alright Riley, we got to do a 50/50 coin flip here” he said, picking up a coin on the ground “heads, I go left, tails, I go right” he said as he flicked his finger, sending the coin into the air and catching it, when he looked at the coin, it was a…

…The coin landed on tails

Riley grabbed the coin before shoving it into his pocket as he began moving towards the right, as he walked along the way he noticed an entrance sign reading “WELCOME TO STARCADEMY!” 

“Starcademy huh? Well I guess until me and slasher can agree on a timeline name, I’ll call it the starcademy timeline” Riley said to himself as he continued down the hallway

as he walked, Riley could swear he heard grunting, wailing and moaning and stuff throughout the halls of the destroyed schoolgrounds, he kept walking, stepping around cracked concrete in the ground, he saw a photo in one of the trophy cabinets which had the starcademy versions of Riley, Mamo and Dakota all standing next to eachother with their arms on mamo’s shoulders as she had her arms on theirs, he cracked a smile as he grabbed the photo from the trophy cabinet as he put it in his pocket “We never change, no matter the timeline, do we?” He joked to himself before continuing on the walk down the halls

eventually he found himself outside the gymnasium, and tried pushing the doors open, but despite them showing they were unlocked, something was blocking the doors, so he tried pushing them, again and again

”No hope just pushing, I gotta try another tactic” Riley groaned as he began shoulder charging into the door, again and again

”GO AWAY REVENANT!” someone from inside said, confused, Riley responded

”Revenant? Damnit just open the door! I’m tryna get in!”

”How do I know you’re not one of them?!” They said with concern for their own safety

“I have no idea what “one of them” even is! Just let me in!”

”Not until I get a good look at you!” The voice said before they removed the cover from the windows to look at Riley, it was… Yeona? But she looked different, that was a school uniform for sure, this wasn’t HIS yeona, but she most likely mistook him for her Riley as she opened the gymnasium doors and ran over and hugged him around the waist

“Riley! Oh god, I was worried I lost you for a moment!” The starcademy Yeona said with relief

”Lost me? What? Yeona what’s going on?” Riley asked, he’d explain everything once she started asking questions

”Did you hit your head? The revenants? Hello? …also why are you dressed like that? That’s no school outfit we have at starcademy” Yeona questioned, puzzled

”Yeah it’s a Westbrook school uniform, not a starcademy uniform” Riley explained

”Westbrook? Riley you seriously weren’t planning on moving schools without telling anyone were you?!” Yeona asked, puzzled

”Look Yeona, this might be a lot to take in, but I’m not the Riley YOU know, I’m a different Riley” he tried to explain

”…are you seriously trying to pull a prank on me right now? I just got you back and you try to prank me?! I watched you die! Become a revenant! How are you even alive and trying to prank me?!” Yeona asked with confusion and a bit of annoyance at what Riley was saying

”Look I’ll explain everything in a bit… are you here alone or is there anyone else in there?” Riley asked

”Well there’s me, Chaoxing, Jun, Iris and Callum” Yeona answered

”Alright can you let me into the base?” Riley asked

”Alright, follow me” Yeona said with a defeated sigh as she led Riley into the base “Hey everyone! I found another survivor!” She said as the other survivors looked up at them approaching

”I swear I saw you die Riley, how are you here? And what the hell are you wearing?” Chaoxing asked with a lot of confusion

”just let me get settled in first, then I’ll talk” Riley said as he walked over to a makeshift bed the survivors had set up, there was 20, but only six of them in the room, nobody else, so he went and sat down as Jun approached and sat down next to him

”It’s good to see you again man” Jun said, trying to boost morale

”Yeah I agree, it’s nice to see a friendly face after so long” Riley sighed

”What are you-“ Jun began to question but as he saw Yeona approaching them, he sat up “I’ll let you and your girlfriend have some alone time” he said as he walked off

”So, you said you would explain the clothing right? And what you meant by not MY Riley?” Yeona began to question as Riley began to ask himself, tell the truth, or stay silent?
