Chapter Text

"Theo get up now, I have to go and you'll be late. If you come home late, you can get up early for school." Tim called from his room to Theo who still lays in bed. "Dad i told you so many times the bus was late. Do you want me to walk 30 minutes ?." Theo said and turned around again in his bed, Tim walked over to his room and stood at the doorframe "Stand up now! I'll drive you to school. After school you can come to the station we gonna drive home together then." he said firmly. Theo got up, grabbed his shirt and jeans and walked to the bathroom "What? No dad, I wanna go outside with some friends after school we wanna eat at the new restaurant." he said. "I think you had enough time with your friends yesterday. You came home at 1 am, you didn't call me so I could pick you up, I was worried. Theo you are 14 years old you can't just do whatever you want." Tim's expression was stern. "Thats not fair" Theo yelled and slammed the bathroom door. Tim waited in the kitchen, while Theo got ready for the day. After 10 Minutes he came into the kitchen "I'm ready" Theo said still mad about the morning. "Good let's get in the car" Tim said, stood up and walked to his car, Theo grabbed his bag and walked behind his dad. "Don't forget to come to the station after school. Theo don't think about anything else" Tim said and looked at Theo who said nothing "Do you understand me?" He said firmly. The looked at his dad and nodded "Yeah" he answered. Arrived at school, Theo got out and walked inside to his locker. He saw Noah his best friend already standing there "Hey man" Theo said and opened his locker. "What's wrong?" Noah asked, Theo looked at him "Ugh just with my dad again because of last night" Theo explained and Noah knew exactly what he meant, they were together last night. "I have an idea to cheer you up" Noah smiled, Theo looked confused "What?" he smiled. Noah closed Theo's locker "Just come with me" Noah said and Theo followed him.

Chapter Text

Tim arrives at the police station and sees that Lucy is back from her vacation.
They both are a little bit nervous because before lucy's vacation started, the two kissed and haven't had any contact since.
“Hey Lucy, how was your vacation?" Tim asked her nervously
"Oh hey, it was good but too short." She smiled and walked away to the changing room.
Tim went after her, grabbed her shoulder and asked her if they wanted to do something tonight after their shift. "Sure, why not? What do you think about?" She asked with a little smile on her face.
“What about the new restaurant? I heard about it and wanted to try it." He said and smiled.
"Okay, that's sounds good. 7 pm ?" Lucy asked and slowly walked away.
"Yes, that's good. See you at the restaurant." Tim walked away with a little smile, he has a new Rookie so the two of them don't drive together anymore.

Tim and his rookie are driving through the streets until he suddenly sees his son, who should be at school right now. He stops and telling his Rookie to stay there.
He got out of the car and walked over to his son
“Theo hey, what are you doing here? You supposed to be in school right now!" Tim called after him Theo turned around and looked shocked as he saw his dad "Dad are you following me now? I thought u have to work." Theo said surprised.
"I am at work right now, this is my route here, but that doesn't matter right now, tell me why you are not in school." Tim said stern.
Theo was quiet for a moment "The canceled the last class so i wanted to go to the store to get something to drink." He lied.
"So your last class was about to be 3 hours?" Tim asked with a skeptical look.
“Oh yes I mean the last two classes. I don't why the teacher is sick or something."
In this moment Tim realized that he told his son to be at the station after school. What about Lucy? Tim wanted to stay home today so Theo won't go outside. He forgot that when he asked Lucy for the date.
“Okay Theo listen to me. I think i have to work a bit longer today, so here a 20 dollars get something to eat and drink. After that you will go home and stay there. I'm seriously Theo you won't go out with your friends tonight or you will be in trouble.. again." Tim said in a strict voice. “Okay” Theo said irritated
“So you won’t be home tonight” He asked
Tim looked at his son with a stern face “Yes. It will be a bit late today” he said.
“Okay, bye dad” Theo said and walked to the shop to get some food and drinks for tonight.
Tim looked after Theo hoping he will stay out of trouble tonight.
Tim and his Rookie arrived at the station at the end of their shift.
He walked to the locker room and get dressed for tonight.
