When the Daylight Comes I'll Have to Go (Monster High x Maroon 5)

Summary:

As a school for Monsters, no one at Monster High ever expected that one of their students would be engaged to a normie...but that's exactly how it went down for Catty Noir. Catty knew she was in love after meeting the normie pop icon and Maroon 5 lead singer, Adam Levine. Now, before getting married soon, the two singers can't keep their eyes off of each other, which wouldn't be a problem if Adam hadn't showed up at Monster High several times to see Catty. Frankie and Draculaura are convinced that something strange was going on. How would a normie keep getting through the doors of MH? They had to find out what this guy's secret was and warn Catty before it's too late!

Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Catty Noir Concert

Chapter Text

"We come up, rise high, you don't know what you don't know," Catty Noir's voice echoed through the crowded room of flashing lights, cameras, and screaming fans. Frankie Stein, Draculaura, and Clawdeen Wolf were in the audience, enjoying the show. They danced and sang along, having the time of their lives. It seemed like the entire population of Monster High was in that room. Catty's hot pink hair fanned out behind her as she danced fiercely across the stage. The pink lights reflected off of her silver sparkly romper making it look like she was literally glowing - illuminating the entire room with her beauty. There was something about Catty Noir. Something irresistible. She was talented, gorgeous, and her personality was equally captivating. Catty deserved every bit of attention she got. She made it impossible to not love her. No one knew this better than her fiance, Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5. He loved Catty more than anyone could ever imagine. His fantasy-esque affection for her bridged the gap between love and obsession. His feelings for her were only mirrored by her feelings for him. They couldn't keep their eyes (or hands) off of each other. Catty Noir and Adam Levine were the hottest celebrity couple and they knew it.

Adam Levine was the type of guy that seems too perfect to be real. He had the perfect body that was covered in tattoos. His hair was black although he bleached it sometimes...one time he dyed it pink to prove his devotion to Catty but that's not the point. His eyes never seemed to be the same color twice but they were gorgeous nonetheless. On top of that, his voice was prettier than any other singer's. He was definitely stereotypically hot -perfect in the physical aspect. He was an object of infatuation to many ghouls and Catty Noir fanboys hated him with a passion. It definitely didn't go unnoticed when he was supporting his fiance at her concert. He was in the 3rd row with Catty's best friend, Catrine DeMew. They didn't take the front row seats because they wanted her fans that didn't get to see her everyday or know her personally to have them.

Frankie, Draculaura, and Clawdeen danced and sang along until it got really late and Catty announced that the next song, Love is  Like a Storm, would be the last. Pink hearts were projected onto the floor and the background behind her. She sang her song and the audience cheered for her. "Merci everyone! Thank you all so much!" Catty exclaimed as blew kisses to her screaming fans. The room went dark and the curtain opened revealing a large neon sign in the shape of a 13 -the only thing illuminating the room- Catty stood in front of it until the curtain closed and the room was completely dark again and Catty was gone.

Backstage, Catty stood watching everyone leave as her bodyguard and the stage crew packed up her equipment. "Catty!" a ghoul with a french accent squealed as she burst through the stage entrance door, "You were SO GOOD!"

"Thanks Catrine," Catty said to her best friend. Both ghouls were still high on the energy from the concert.

"Fave song from tonight?" Catty asked.

"No apologies!" she started, "Or You Don't Know, or My Heart Goes Boom Boom Boom. I don't know, I love them all!"

Just then, the stage entrance door opened again. Catty and Catrine looked over and saw Adam Levine leaning seductively against the doorway. Catty walked towards him and flirtatiously said, "Hey Adam," while twirling a strand of her hair.

"You were amazing, kitten," he told her, "I love you." He grabbed both of her hands and they stepped closer to each other. Their lips came together and before they knew it, they were making out. Right there in front of everyone.

Catrine watched them. She was a bit disturbed but mostly intrigued by how in love they were. She glanced at the time on her phone, realizing most of the stage crew had left and they would be turning off the lights and locking the doors at any time. "Catty," she started, "We have to go." Catty and Adam stopped kissing and blushed at each other, giggling at how they had lost track of time. They walked out the exit door, and kissed one last time before Catty got in her car.

Catty looked at Adam and said, "It takes so long to get to your place from here. Why don't you just come home with me?" She blinked excessively and made a heart shape with her fingers.

"You know I can't say no to you," He replied, getting in the car with her and Catrine.

They arrived at Catty's house 20 minutes later. The three of them got out of Catty's car. Catrine hugged her bestie goodbye and said bye to Adam before getting in her car and driving away into the moonlight. Catty Noir and Adam Levine walked through the door of her house. They made their way to Catty's bedroom, where she changed out of her concert outfit and into a shimmery pink and black spaghetti strap nightgown.

"Me-Yow," Adam Levine flirted as he saw her in her nightgown. He had taken his shirt off and was already laying on Catty's bed. She walked over, pulled back the sheets, and laid down next to Adam. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to him. She gently kissed him on the lips and whispered "I love you," in his ear.

"I love you more," he whispered back and they drifted off to sleep.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The Conspiracy Begins

Chapter Text

The next day at Monster High, the ghouls were exhausted. All of them that had been at the Catty Noir concert the night before anyway. Frankie, Draculaura, and Clawdeen were sitting at a table with Cleo DeNile, Lagoona Blue, and Ghoulia Yelps. Cleo, Lagoona, and Ghoulia hadn't gone to the concert because Cleo was grounded, Lagoona had homework, and Ghoulia didn't want to miss anything at school the next day

"That's the last time I go to a concert on a Thursday night," Clawdeen said sleepily as she sipped her coffee.

"I know," Frankie started, "I'm exhausted."

Draculaura yawned before saying, "It was totally worth it though. We saw Catty Noir live!"

"It sounds like you had a good time at least," Lagoona added.

"Definitely," Frankie confirmed.

"Come on ghouls, you're killing me!" Cleo whined, "You know I desperately wanted to go with you!"

"Yea sorry Cleo. It really does suck that you couldn't go," Draculaura consoled her friend, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"Can you imagine how tired Catty is?" Frankie asked, wondering how Catty Noir could handle everything she did.

"For real," Clawdeen agreed, "I highly doubt she'll be here today." As soon as she said that, the doors flew open and Catty Noir herself carelessly strolled into the building as if she had been on cue. Catty made her way to the table that Catrine DeMew, Venus McFlytrap, Toralei Stripe, and the werecat twins were sitting at. Everyone turned to look at her like they always do when Catty Noir enters a room. She sat down and her friends greeted her. Everyone in the creepateria turned back to their friends and went back into the conversations they were having. Their object of infatuation, Catty Noir was no longer on the move, the excitement was over. Soon, the bell rang and they were off to class.

Frankie, Draculaura, and Clawdeen could barely stay awake in their classes. The concert last night had done them in. None of them retained anything from biteology, clawculus, or dragonometry. Before they knew it, it was time for lunch where everyone would be back at the same tables with the same monsters exactly like they were that morning. That's how it went down everyday. Everyone minding their own business. This is how it was and how it always would be. Except this time, there was an unexpected visitor coming to see none other than Catty Noir. It was Adam Levine. Catty stood up and walked over to him. Now, everyone in the creepateria had double the entertainment.

"Oh my gosh, Adam!" Catty giggled, "You know you really shouldn't be here right?" She obviously wasn't actually concerned. In fact, she was ecstatic that her fiance had come to see her.

"I missed you though," he expressed as innocently as he could "And it's really weird being in your house alone," he finished.

"But this is a school for monsters. It's even scarier here," Catty teased.

"How could I forget?" Adam grabbed her hand and put it in between his. They stood there, causing a scene in front of Monster High's entire student disembody. Everyone watched them adoringly. They all wished they could have what Catty and Adam had.

At a table in the corner of the room, sat Operetta Phantom, Spectra Vondergeist, and Robecca Steam. They watched the popstars canoodling by the door. Operetta loved the idea of love. She had dated most of the guys at Monster High but none of them had worked with her fiery personality and unreachably high standards. She was a beautiful ghoul with wavy, bright red hair and light purple skin. There was a black heart around her left eye. Spectra was a ghost with straight dark purple hair and she wore chains as jewelry. Another thing about Spectra, she loved to gossip, there was nothing she enjoyed more than blogging about the latest drama...even if the allegations were obviously false. Robecca was a robot ghoul who had blue and black hair. Her eyes were shaped like gears and she was very metallic.

"So, can we talk about this hot normie?" Operetta asked, her eyes on Adam Levine.

"Oh I would love to," Spectra responded, "He's so dreamy, but he's Catty's."

"It's so peculiar that Catty Noir is engaged to a normie. Or anyone for that matter." Robecca added.

"That's just what true love does to a ghoul," Spectra said dreamily before the bell rang and everyone had to go.

In study howl, Draculaura, Frankie, and Clawdeen were still thinking about Adam Levine. They didn't understand how he had shown up at Monster High. It was so strange. He was a normie and normies physically couldn't enter Monster High unless they had been approved by Headless Headmistress Bloodgood -and it was highly unlikely that he had been.

"Is it just me or is there something off about this Adam Levine guy?" Draculaura asked.

"I don't think so. He's just there sometimes and it's not even surprising. He's engaged to Catty afterall," Clawdeen replied.

"It's just a little strange how he keeps getting in here. Normies can't enter the building unless Bloodgood lets them in and I really don't think she would let him in here," Draculaura justified her suspicions.

"That's a really good point," Frankie added, "And what about that Maroon 5 song, Daylight? 'When the daylight comes, I'll have to go?' What do you think that's implying?"

"No way he's really a normie," Draculaura assumed.

Chapter 3: Chapter 3: It's Not Stalking, It's Investigating

Chapter Text

Later that day, the three ghouls were on video chat together in their pajamas, discussing Adam Levine, Catty Noir, the concert, the surprise visits and everything else that had lead to Draculaura's insane theory.

"Draculaura, what are you on?" Clawdeen asked, "Adam Levine is NOT a monster!"

Frankie defended Draculaura saying, "Actually Clawdeen I think Draculaura's on to something...and I just listened to Daylight again. The lyrics are totally suspicious."

"Right?" Draculaura commented, "He's for sure not a normie like everyone lets on. I'm thinking vampire."

"Both of you are crazy. I'm going to bed," Clawdeen giggled at her friends' wild imaginations as she left the call.

Frankie and Draculaura continued chatting. They came to the conclusion that Adam Levine was definitely a vampire, but they needed proof. The ghouls conspired for 45 minutes, contemplating ways to prove they were right about him. All at once, Frankie had an epiphany.

"Wait! Draculaura!" she exclaimed, "I know somebody who could totally help us with this. Catty Noir! I mean, they're engaged, if anyone knew if there was anything supernatural going on with Adam Levine, it would  be her."

"Frankie, you're a genius!" Draculaura squealed, "I'm going to DM her right now!"

"NO DON'T!" Frankie quickly replied, "That's way too weird to ask in a DM. Anyway she probably wouldn't spill unless we were somewhere private. And Catty is a superstar. People are always trying to leak celebrities' DMs...just ask Adam Levine himself."

"True," she mumbled, "I guess I'll just ask her Monday at school."

"Ok ghoul," Frankie yawned, "Goodnight!"

"Bye Frankie! Love you, goodnight!" Drac waved goodbye to her friend as she hung up.

Before they knew it, it was Monday. Draculaura and Frankie were determined to get Catty Noir's take on the matter. They tracked Catty down, finding her standing by her locker talking to Catrine and Venus. The two of them (and Clawdeen) walked over to her as Catrine and Venus waved goodbye to Catty and each other and strolled away in opposite directions. Catty turned to the three ghouls.

"Hey Catty," Draculaura started nervously, "Can we ask you something?" She twirled a stand of her black and pink hair around her finger. Frankie stood there anxiously. Clawdeen crossed her arms over her purple sweater and rolled her yellow eyes.

"Yeah, sure," Catty replied as she checked her makeup in her iconic cracked compact mirror.

"It's about Adam Levine, we were just wondering-," Draculaura didn't finish the sentence, Catty cut her off before she could.

Catty's expression changed from content to unsettled, "Yes Draculaura, it's true. We broke up. And if you're asking for me to confirm or deny another ridiculous rumor, I can tell you it's probably not true. That's what happened to us. Jealousy and false allegations. And he didn't have the guts to stay. You know, tell me I was more important than people's thoughts of us," She ranted. Her tone shifted and she sounded a bit happier adding, "But it was really more of a mutual thing. Better for both of us, honestly."

Draculaura and Frankie blankly stared at her. Clawdeen looked like she wanted to kill them. Frankie raised her hands to her mouth and said, "Catty, I am so sorry. We had no idea."

"It's okay Frankie, it just happened this weekend." Catty's pink eyes looked at the floor.

"Catty, ignore these two," Clawdeen said, "They're insane."

"No, it's completely fine," she reassured, "they didn't know. And anyway, I can exist without a guy."

"That's my ghoul," Clawdeen told her. She turned to Frankie and Draculaura, "Let's go," she growled as she shoved them down the hall, away from Catty.

"I cannot believe you!" Clawdeen raged at her friends when they got out of Catty's earshot.

"I swear we had no idea," Draculaura lowered her guilt-filled voice, "I feel terrible."

"Me too," Frankie added, "Poor Catty."

"I tried telling you guys that they broke up but you were too obsessed with your ridiculous little fantasy conspiracy thing," Clawdeen went on. She walked away before Draculaura or Frankie could say anything.

"I think she's mad," Frankie stated the obvious.

"Yeah. Definitely," Draculaura agreed.

"But we're still gonna find a way to prove this right?" Frankie asked.

"Oh of course," Draculaura confirmed. The two ghouls sat down, Frankie pulled her laptop out of her bag, and they went to work researching Adam Levine. They read every word of the 30 page fandom page written about him. They found out things like the names of his parents and brother, his birthday, everything there was to know about all of his ex-wives, when he started Maroon 5, his job at Jimmy John's before Maroon 5 started, and that he has ADHD. They found out everything there was to know about the guy...except for what they needed to know.

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: The Plan

Chapter Text

Catty Noir sat on her bed in her nightgown next to one of her giant Hello Kitty plushies, writing down words she had in mind for a new song. Inspiration flowed through her as she thought of potential lyrics. It was 8:30 PM. Catty was lost in her thoughts when she heard someone ring her doorbell. She sat her notebook down and headed for the door, assuming it was probably Catrine or Venus. Maybe a delivery driver. As much as she loved hanging out with her friends, she kind of hoped it was just the mailman bringing her a package. Catrine and Venus were the best, but she found it practically impossible to write meaningful lyrics when they were there. It was impossible for them to be together without goofing around and giggling. Catty opened the door and to her surprise, it wasn't Catrine or Venus or even the mailman. Standing in her doorway was Clawdeen Wolf wearing purple, green and black leopard print leggings with a black tank top.

"Clawdeen?" Catty questioned.

"Yeah, Hi Catty. Is this a bad time?" Clawdeen asked.

"Oh, no. Not at all. Come in!" she opened the door all the way and Clawdeen stepped in.

"Wow, your house is huge!" Clawdeen gushed as she looked around at Catty's fancy house, the type that could only be owned by a popstar.

"Yeah, I guess it is," Catty giggled, "Wait, have you never been here?"

"Well, I have but only at the parties you have here. And it seems way smaller when there are ghouls all over the place." she replied, looking at the big chandelier hanging over them"I feel like I'm in Barbie's dreamhouse or something." She wasn't wrong, Catty's house was very Barbie-esque. Most things in there were pink and expensive looking.

"Do you want something to drink or anything?" Catty offered.

"No. Thanks though. Actually I just came to talk to you," Clawdeen answered.

"Oh, okay. Talk to me," she said as she sat on the couch. She gestured for Clawdeen to sit by her. Clawdeen sat down.

"I am so sorry about you and Adam. And Draculaura and Frankie. I know they didn't make things any better." Clawdeen said empathetically.

"Don't apologize, Clawdeen," she stated, "Honestly this is for the best. I was never into the whole ghouls obsessing over mansters thing. If anything apologize to him. He's the one that's at a loss here. The one that doesn't have me around anymore."

"Oh my ghoul! I know right?" It's so annoying when chicks spend all of their time obsessing over some guy. A ghoul doesn't need a manster to complete her. By the way, I love your confidence," Clawdeen agreed.

"Well would you want to be in a breakup with me?" Catty jokingly asked. They both started giggling and then Catty added, "And anyway about Draculaura and Frankie, they did nothing wrong. With all of these crazy accusations floating around about me and Adam they probably just didn't know if the breakup was canon or not."

Clawdeen rolled her eyes. "That's not what they wanted to ask you actually," she crossed her arms and mumbled, "It's so stupid. They're convinced Adam Levine is a vampire as ridiculous as that sounds."

Catty blinked like 5 times trying to process that, "Oh," was all she said.

"Ridiculous right?" Clawdeen replied.

"I don't even know anymore, ghoul." Catty said, "I mean it's possible but unlikely. I have a million thoughts about Adam Levine running through my head right now and none of them are anywhere close to...that."

"Yeah, I get it if you don't want to talk about him," Clawdeen responded.

"It's not that. It's just...I don't even know anymore. I want to have negative feelings toward him but I just...don't," Catty explained.

"That makes sense I guess. It's getting late I should probably go home," Clawdeen said as she stood up.

"Okay. Bye Clawdeen," Catty waved goodbye.

"Bye Catty," she waved back before shutting the door behind her.

The next day, Frankie and Draculaura were standing next to their lockers, plotting. The plan was for Draculaura to fly to California -with her bat wings, not on a plane- and follow Adam Levine around until they got answers. Frankie was going to cover for her at Monster High while she was gone. Draculaura had packed her backpack with four grilled cheese sandwiches, a bottle of water, her pink polka dot pajamas, her sunglasses, her phone, sunscreen and another outfit. She had her black and pink hair down and she was wearing black halter dress but the front was magenta. Her shoes were black heels with lace in the shape of a spider web on the side, she was also wearing a light pink headband.

"Okay Frankie, here I go," Draculaura announced. She disappeared into a cloud of pastel pink smoke and in her place, spawned an adorable little bat in a tiny version of Draculaura's outfit.

"Bye Draculaura! Be careful," Frankie waved goodbye to her friend as she flew across the sky as fast as she could.

Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Cali Ghouls

Chapter Text

Draculaura arrived in California in less than 24 hours. She had never flown that fast and she was exhausted from it. When she got there, she realized that was the stupidest thing she had ever done. Draculaura didn't know her way around California, she didn't even know where she was, or where she needed to go, or where Adam Levine's house was. She pulled her phone out of her bag and Googled Adam Levine's address, which she then typed into Google Maps to get directions. She got a taxi to take her to the street he lived on. There were no other houses around, so it was pretty easy to find his. Draculaura walked up to his driveway, realizing she needed to be conspicuous, She assumed he had many security cameras around his house and she didn't want to be caught on them. Draculaura really didn't want to get arrested, so she turned back into a bat and started flying as far away from the front of the house as she could get but still close to it. Adam Levine's house was huge and very fancy. It was a white three story house with a balcony overlooking an enormous pool with the clearest, sparkliest water Draculaura had ever seen. She flew around to the side of the house, noticing a half opened window. This could not be any more convenient for her. She slipped her wing in and entered the house.

She found herself in a large room with a really big bed in the middle. There was also a dresser with a comically large mirror hanging above it. A furry maroon rug and matching curtains, a grey side table, and a closet which Draculaura assumed was bigger than her entire room. It was obvious where she was. Adam Levine's bedroom. She turned back into a ghoul and started digging through drawers, carefully so that Adam would never notice. This was how she would find clues. She was determined to find out if Adam Levine was a vampire.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps, someone was walking up the stairs and she had a feeling she knew exactly who it was. She quickly shut the drawer and ran to slip into the closet. The closet was really big. Really, really, really, big. Not even Clawdeen's closet was this big. The footsteps were getting closer. Closer and closer until she heard the door open. Adam Levine walked into the room. He was talking to someone on the phone.

"Yeah, I know. I don't know what's wrong with me but every song I've written lately sucks and I'm not about to let us release a song that sucks," she heard him say. There was a long pause. She assumed the person on the other line was talking. And then she heard Adam's voice again. He said, "No, Catty Noir has nothing to do with anything." Another long pause before she heard him say, "I guess I do still think about her...a lot."

Draculaura peeked out from behind the closet door. Nothing interesting was happening and she knew she couldn't stay here. Adam Levine was going to open his closet door eventually. And then she would be exposed. She turned back into a bat and flew out of the closet. Very carefully so he wouldn't notice her.

This process continued for two whole weeks. Draculaura followed Adam Levine around, everywhere he went. She found out nothing for two weeks. It went on and on like this until one day Adam was putting stuff in a suitcase. Draculaura was a bat hiding in a shoe. That shoe was put in the suitcase. Draculaura was plunged into absolute darkness and she had no idea where she was going or where she would end up. She was utterly terrified. She felt herself moving. Involuntarily moving. She bounced around inside of the suitcase, fearing she would end up concussed. It was obvious Adam Levine had no idea she was in there. Suddenly, Draculaura was no longer being mercilessly tossed around but she still felt herself moving. This was kind of what it felt like when she was flying. Flying. That's when she realized that that was exactly what was happening. She was flying. The suitcase she was in was on an airplane and she was in the sky.

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Monster High?

Chapter Text

Draculaura opened her eyes. She wasn't in total darkness anymore. The suitcase was open and she could escape any time she wanted to. The only problem was that she had no idea where she was. It appeared that she was in a hotel room but God knows where the hotel was. Outside, it was raining. She crept out of the shoe and looked around. The room was very familiar almost as if she had been here before but she knew that she probably hadn't and that it was most likely just deja vu. She peeked out of the suitcase and saw Adam Levine walk towards the door. Draculaura flew out of the suitcase and followed him down the stairs of the hotel. She knew she had been here. They were at the DeMew hotel which wasn't far from Monster High. Why would Adam Levine be here now that he wasn't engaged to Catty Noir? He got in an Uber car. Draculaura followed it.

The Uber pulled into Catty Noir's driveway, Adam got out, shut the door, and the car drove away. He rang her doorbell. Catty came to the door. She saw that it was Adam Levine and immediately closed the door again, leaving him standing in the rain. Then, he knocked on the door and she angrily opened it again.

"What do you want?" Catty snapped.

"I need to talk to you Catty," he answered.

Draculaura was at a distance so she really couldn't tell what he said after that but she knew it was a heartfelt declaration of love. She saw Catty let Adam in her house and close the door behind them. Running to see what would happen next, Draculaura made her way to the nearest window, which gave her a view into Catty's bedroom. The room was empty for like ten minutes when Draculaura saw the door open and the two popstars walked in. Adam wrapped his arms around Catty's waist, she put her hands in his hair, and they moved closer together. Before Draculaura could blink, they were making out. It didn't seem like they were broken up at all. The farthest thing from it actually. What Draculaura was seeing was definitely coming from passion no doubt about it. Another thing there was no doubt about was that Draculaura shouldn't be watching this take place. For their privacy...and her innocence.

Back at Monster High, Draculaura met up with Frankie who was talking to Clawdeen. Frankie was wearing a black and white chevron dress with a blue leather jacket and her black and white hair was in a high-ponytail. Clawdeen was wearing yellow shorts with a black, white, pink, and purple t-shirt and a purple vest.

"Draculaura!" Frankie squealed, "Find anything out?"

"No. Absolutely nothing. Other than yesterday when I saw Adam Levine and Catty Noir making out," Draculaura answered.

"OHMYGHOUL!" Frankie exclaimed, "That's insane! Who cares if Adam Levine's a normie or a vampire or whatever? Go Catty!"

"What?!" Clawdeen joined in, "Are you for real ghoul?"

Just then, Catrine DeMew strolled through the door. They realized that Catty wasn't with her. She was walking down the hall toward Venus McFlytrap, when Draculaura stopped her. Catrine would have all the details about what was going on with Catty. They were best friends after all.

"Hey Catrine!" Draculaura greeted her.

"Oh hi, Draculaura," Catrine replied.

"Okay so, I need to ask you something," Draculaura stated.

"Go for it"

"So about Catty Noir, " Draculaura started, "Her and Adam Levine...are they...well..." her voice trailed off.

"Back together?," Catrine offered, "Yes! They are! I'm so happy for them! But I swear if he hurts her again, he's DEAD!"

Draculaura blinked, "Okay so, that's cool. Is Catty coming back anytime soon?" She asked.

"I think she's coming back tomorrow. Her and Adam just needed today to talk things out," Catrine answered.

Catrine and Draculaura said goodbye to each other and walked away. Draculaura still knew nothing but it didn't matter at this point. Everybody was happy and that was the only thing that was important. Catty Noir had her fiance back and Adam Levine had his. They had each other. Draculaura was back with her friends and she didn't plan on making pointless trips to California anymore. Everything was normal again and no one really cared if Adam Levine was a normie or a vampire or even a unicorn. It didn't matter and Draculaura realized that, even though she would've still loved to know the truth. And maybe one day she would find out...but not today.

Chapter 7: Chapter 7: Draculaura Finally Gets Answers

Chapter Text

        ~A Month Later~

A big black banner hung from the corners of the Monster High roof. The words "Welcome Back Catty!!!" were plastered on it in enormous pink letters. Catty had been gone on her honeymoon. Her and Adam Levine had finally done it. They got married on New Year's Eve, kissing at midnight. It was the most romantic night of Catty's life. For the honeymoon, they had rented a yacht and went sailing through the ocean...just the two of them. They had the best time.

Catty stepped onto the bridge over Monster High's moat, followed by her now-husband, Adam Levine, who was lugging at least three suitcases behind him. He was trying his best not to drop any of them. Catty was effortlessly rolling one behind her, making it look easy. Most of MH's student disembody was standing under the banner waiting for their dear Catty Noir to come back to them.

"We're gonna go put these in the car and then we'll be right back," Catty said as she waved to her friends. Catty and Adam walked to Catty's hot pink convertible and put the suitcases in. She walked back over to the hoard of ghouls and mansters. Catrine ran to her and they hugged for like five minutes straight.

"I've missed you so much," Catrine said, letting go of her friend.

"I've missed you more," Catty replied.

"I still can't believe you're finally married!" Catrine exclaimed. Adam stood at the end of the bridge, waiting for his beautiful wife. He knew it was gonna take a while, considering all of the ghouls who were congratulating her and welcoming her back. It took him by surprise when Draculaura and Frankie were standing right by him.

"Oh, Hi ladies," he greeted them.

Frankie was standing there trying her best not to fangirl, "Hey, I know this sounds stupid but are you...by any chance...a vampire?"
