Chapter Text

In a mysterious world, A mysterious stranger was staring down at the world below via a special reflecting pool, when he sensed something alarming and disturbing.

"I sense," he said to himself, "That there's a great threat to one young teenage boy in the universe."

He sensed it, and it came to the house of Michael, and Corey, the very same house from the original version of Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue.

He witnessed a hand sneaking into Corey's room, and grabbing her piggy bank.

He gasped. "Corey's piggy bank!" he said in horror.

He thought for a while. "It's time I called for some helpers." he said.

In the Sofia the First Universe, Princess Sofia was flying around the air near her castle, on her flying horse, Minimus.

She landed near the stables. "Perfect flight, Minimus, you're getting better." she said.

"I know, Sofia." Minimus said. "Hey, your amulet's glowing." he said suddenly.

Sofia then saw her amulet was indeed glowing. "That is strange, Minimus." she said. But she saw it was glowing a bright gold colour. "I've never seen it glow like this befo-"

Suddenly, Sofia disappeared in a bright golden light.

In the Jimmy Neutron Universe, Jimmy Neutron was flying home from school with his jetpack. Goddard was guiding him to his landing outside the lab. Jimmy slowly landed near Goddard, then turned off his jetpack.

"Perfect landing." he said to Goddard, who barked.

Suddenly, Jimmy and Goddard vanished in bright light.

In the world of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Ladybug & Cat Noir were facing off against Xavier Ramier, who had once again been akumatized into Mr Pigeon by Hawk Moth.

Mr Pigeon was controlling a giant robot mech that looked like him, and he was smashing up Paris and scaring citizens left and right.

"THIS IS WHY I LEFT TOKYO!" One man yelled in Japanese.

"Mr Pigeon 45," said Hawk Moth's voice, "if you want to keep smashing Paris to build your new pigeon mansion, make sure to get me Ladybug & Cat Noir's Miraculous!"

"Lucky Charm!" cried Ladybug. She used her Lucky Charm and received a long hosepipe covered in black spots.

"A hosepipe?" she said, puzzled.

Then, she had an idea. She tied one end of the hosepipe to a lamp post and instructed Cat Noir to find and lure Mr. Pigeon towards them. Cat Noir led Mr. Pigeon to the spot where Ladybug was hiding behind a garbage bin, holding the hosepipe low to the ground.

Too late, Mr Pigeon realized it was a trap. The mech tripped over the hosepipe and fell face-first to the ground.

Cat Noir pounced on Mr Pigeon's mech and with his Cataclysm, he cracked open the cockpit, and yanked off Mr Pigeon's whistle. He threw it to Ladybug, who broke it with her heel, releasing the akuma.

"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma," said Ladybug, preparing her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilize!" She swung her yo-yo and captured the akuma. "Gotcha!" She purified and released the butterfly. "Bye-bye, little butterfly," she said, watching the butterfly fly away.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" shouted Ladybug as she threw the hosepipe into the air. A burst of magical light engulfed Paris, restoring everything to its original state and eliminating the Mr. Pigeon robot.

Mr Pigeon was deakumatized back into Xavier Ramier. "Huh?" said a confused Xavier. "What's going on? What am I doing here?"

"Pound it!" said Ladybug & Cat Noir, pounding their fists together, before they vanished in a bright golden light.

In the Cars Universe, Lightning McQueen was practising his drifting at Willy's Butte, whilst being cheered on by his best friend, Mater the tow truck.

"Whoo! Yeah!" cheered Mater loudly. "You're doin' good, buddy!"

"Certainly am, Mater," said Lightning, as he came next to him. "Still got the moves Doc taught me. Ka-ch-"

Suddenly, both Lightning and Mater disappeared in a bright golden light.

In the Loud House universe, Lincoln Loud was on a walk in Royal Woods. "Isn't it such a beautiful day in Royal Woods?" he said to the viewers.

Suddenly, he vanished in a bright golden light.

The mysterious stranger then collected Crown Princess Elena, from the Elena of Avalor universe, Jenny/XJ9 from the My Life as a Teenage Robot Universe, Sulley & Mike from the Monsters Inc universe, Chase & Skye from the Paw Patrol universe, and finally, Pablo, Tyrone, Uniqua, Tasha, and Austin from the Backyardigans universe.

Now he was ready.

IN AN UNKNOWN LOCATION

Flashes of golden light filled the area, and all the cartoon characters appeared. They were all confused, scared and puzzled, to say the least.

"Where are we?" Mike asked Sulley.

"Beats me," said Sulley.

"It's not the human world, though," Mike said. "It's very puzzling."

"Dad gum!" Mater said. "This must be a cavern in Radiator Springs we've ended up in!"

"No, Mater," said Lightning. "It's not a cavern. It feels like we're not in our world."

"Goddard," said Jimmy Neutron, "Something tells me we're not in Retroville anymore," Goddard whined in response.

The Backyardigans were looking around.

"Where are we?" Pablo asked.

"Beats me." Tyrone said.

"This is bigger than what we've imagined before," Uniqua said.

It was then that they bumped into Sulley. "Aaah!" Pablo screamed. "A monster!"

"Hey, settle down, whoever you are." Sulley said, "I'm not a scary monster!"

"You're not?" asked Uniqua.

"No." Sulley said. "Well," he said, correcting himself, "I'm a monster, but I'm not scary. I make people laugh."

"You do?" said Uniqua. "That sounds... puzzling."

"It certainly is." Tyrone agreed.

Ladybug & Cat Noir disappeared behind what seemed to be columns, so they could detransform into their civillian forms - Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste; respectively.

"Tikki, something strange is going on here." Marinette said to her kwami, Tikki. "This place doesn't look anything like Paris. Do you know where we are?"

"Even I don't know what it is, Marinette." Tikki said, worriedly.

"It's a strange place, and no mistake." Adrien said to Plagg, his kwami.

"Whatever it is, I hope they have camembert here!" Plagg said.

Adrien sighed. "Whatever it is," he said, "I bet Hawk Moth must've trapped us here with the help of another akumatized supervillain."

"It's muy extrano that we've ended up here." Elena said. "I know, Elena." said Sofia. "It's certainly bizarre. I hope it wasn't one of Mr Cedric's spells gone wrong."

"I bet Queen Vexus did this to us!" said Jenny.

"Does anyone know where we are?" asked Lincoln Loud.

"No!" Everyone said.

SUDDENLY, a voice spoke out. "GREETINGS!" it said, in a loud booming voice, making everyone jump.

"Don't be afraid, all of you." he said, in a more gentle tone with his voice.

"Who in all of Avalor are you?" asked Elena.

"Well, if you must know," the stranger said, "I am the Universal Being, a being that exists in every universe known to man, and woman, and everyone in between."

Everyone looked bewildered.

"OK, to put it in a simpler tone, this is my domain, which exists in a different dimension to your worlds." the Universal Being said.

"Now," he added, "it's about time I explained why I brought you all here."

"Do tell." said Skye.

"I have brought you all here because I need your help." said the Universal Being.

"Us? What do you need our help with?" asked Jenny.

"Actually," said the Universal Being, "It's Michael that needs your help."

Everyone looked and chatted amongst themselves, confused. They had no idea who Michael was.

"Who's Michael?" asked Sofia.

"Ok," said the being. "Maybe it'll be easier if I show you."

He showed the image of a teenage boy with dark brown hair, wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and white basketball sneakers.

"So that's Michael." said Chase, eying the boy. "He's a great kid, but why does he need our help?"

"Well, it's a long story, so I'll cut to the chase." he said. he showed a picture of what seemed to be a dirty grey spirit creature with yellow eyes, and long bony fingers, dressed in a grey suit with a tie.

"Who on earth is that?" Marinette asked. "Is he a supervillain created by Hawk Moth?"

"This is Smoke." he said. "He is a dark entity created from cigarette smoke. He leads people into destruction."

"Destruction?" said Austin anxiously. "What does that mean?"

"He's making Michael use things called drugs." the being said.

"Drugs?" said Tasha.

"That is another name for medicines." Jimmy Neutron said. "Some people use drugs to make them feel better. My friend Carl has an inhaler, and-"

"Yes, thank you, Neutron." the being interrupted. "But these drugs Michael's using are nasty drugs; Drugs that damage your body."

everyone gasped. "Whoa." Elena said. "That sounds bad, right?"

"Technically speaking, 'Bad' is a relative word." the being said.

"It is?" Elena asked.

"Very." the being said. he showed the image of a box on the bed in Michael's bedroom.

The bedroom was empty, so he reached into the room, and plucked out the box and shows it to the cartoons.

"A box?" said Tikki, bewildered.

"What's inside this box?" Lincoln Loud asked.

Goddard growled angrily.

"Goddard can sense a lot of extremely strong chemicals in that box." Jimmy said.

The universal being opened this box, and out came a very strong smell.

"Oh my." said Tasha, sniffing the air. "What on earth is that funny smell?"

"Is it camembert"? Plagg asked excitedly, but then his excitement quickly dropped upon smelling the smell. "Oh my god, this ISN'T camembert!" he said.

"I'm afraid you're right, Plagg." said the Universal being. "This isn't camembert; it's marijuana."

"What's marijuana?" asked Pablo. "Is it a fancy name for orange juice?"

"Marijuana, also known as cannabis among other names, is a psychoactive drug from the cannabis plant used for medical or recreational purposes." Jimmy Neutron said.

Everyone stared in disbelief at what Jimmy had said.

"A what?" said Sofia.

"In other words, it's an unlawful substance used to experience artificial highs." the being said. "That means they make you feel good."

"But," he also said, "many of them lead to addiction - getting hooked onto them, like getting hooked onto TV and videogames, except with more deadlier consequences to the body. Before you know it, it'll feel like you won't be able to live without them."

Everyone was shocked and gobsmacked. "Ay ay ay!" Elena said. "This stuff is dangerous! We never use anything like this in Avalor!"

The universal being nodded. Also, He snapped his fingers and set the box back into Michael's bedroom.

"And also," the universal being added, "drugs are expensive."

"Expensive?" asked Mater. "What does that mean?"

"That means they cost a lot of money." Tyrone said.

"Exactly." the Universal being said. "Now watch."

He showed them the bedroom of Corey.

"Who is that in the bed?" asked Sulley, pointing to a little girl with blonde hair in the bed, fast asleep. "Why, that's Michael's little sister, Corey." says the universal being. "Now watch what's gonna happen next."

Then they watched as they saw Corey's piggy bank on the dresser. Suddenly, the door opened, and Michael's hand reached in, and grabbed her piggy bank. Everyone gasped.

"My goodness!" said Adrien. "Michael stole Corey's piggy bank!"

"That is so criminal!" snapped Lightning McQueen.

"He's worse than Chloe Bourgeois and Lila Rossi put together!" Marinette snapped.

"Yeah!" Mike agreed. Then he stopped. "Uh, who's Chloe Bourgeois and Lila Rossi?" he asked Marinette.

"OK." the being said. "Now let's let Corey know about her piggy bank's theft."

The being reached into the portal of Corey's room, and turned on an alarm clock. The noise woke Corey up. She reached over and turned off the alarm. "Why did I set the alarm on a Saturday?" she muttered, rubbing her eyes.

Then from his domain, the being directed what seemed to be a miniature spotlight into Corey's room, and aimed it at the spot on the dresser where Corey's piggy bank had once been.

"My bank! Someone took my bank!" Corey exclaimed.

The universal being switched the portal view to Michael's bedroom. Suddenly, the toons were alerted to a breaking noise.

"What was that noise?" asked Skye.

"That sounded like something breaking." said Chase.

Seeing the view of the room, they watched as Michael entered, holding Corey's piggy bank, now with it's head broken off, revealing the money inside it. Michael places the broken piggy bank on his bed and shakes all the money out of it.

"Alright! There must be 20 bucks in here easy." he said.

"That's why he wanted the piggy bank." said Austin. "He's stealing money!"

"Yes. There's also more to this situation that you should know." the universal being said.

"There is?" Austin asked.

as Michael was putting the last few bits of stolen money into his wallet, he heard a knocking on his door. It was Corey. "Michael? It's me." she said.

"Go away!" said Michael.

Corey came in just the same. "I'm just looking for..." She saw her own piggy bank, with it's head broken off. "Is that my piggy bank?" she asked, shocked.

"I told you to stay out!" Michael snapped.

The crowd of cartoon characters watched as Michael tried to make an excuse. "It-it fell. I was... just trying to fix it."

"I think he's definitely lying." Elena said.

"No prizes for guessing, Elena." Sofia said.

"It fell from my dresser, into your room?!" Corey said, not believing it. "You took it!" She saw the metal box on Michael's bed. "And what's in that box?" she asked.

Michael hides the box underneath his bed from his sister. "None of your business. And keep your hands off!" he snapped.

"You're acting really weird." Corey said.

"So, who asked you?" Michael snapped.

"If you wanted some money, you could've said something." Corey said. It was then she saw her brother's eyes. They had red veins, looked pale pink, and he had bags under his eyes.

"Are you feeling okay? What's wrong with your eyes?" she asked.

Michael grabbed some sunglasses from his dresser. "Nothing." he said, putting them on. "Leave me alone, will ya?" he snapped as he walked out of the room and along the corridor.

Corey ran after him. "Michael? You always tell me everything! What's wrong?" she said quietly, feeling a tear form in her eye.

Downstairs, Michael opened the front door and left, shutting it behind him. A woman's voice sounded, "Michael? Honey, where are you going?"

The cartoons watched Michael leave his house, and walk off down the road toward the city.

"So do you all understand the situation?" the universal being told the cartoon characters.

"We certainly do." Tasha said. "Michael did seem pretty weird - he's never acted like that to his sister before."

"Maybe it's a phase, cause he could be going through puberty." Jimmy Neutron said.

"It's no phase, Neutron." the universal being said. "It's a path to his own oblivion if he doesn't stop with his drug issues."

"So that means we've gotta stop him before the drugs ruin him altogether." Uniqua said.

"Yeah!" her friends agreed.

Uniqua turned to the being, and said, "Mr universal being, you can count on us!"

"We'll help Michael stop with his drug abuse." Chase said. "Like Ryder always says, 'No job is too big, no pup or cartoon character is too small!'"

Everyone agreed.

"OK." said Adrien, "Now that the entire team is assembled, I think it's time we get started."

"Right." the universal being said. "Now, first things first - someone needs to stay with Corey. Any volunteers?"

"I'll go." Sofia volunteered. "I'll stay with Corey, and try to help her with fixing her relationship with her brother."

"OK." the universal being said. He created a portal to Corey's room. "Go through this to the suburb world, and you'll be in Corey's room."

"Ok." Sofia said. She started for the portal, but stopped. "Hold on." she said. She clasped her amulet, the Amulet of Avalor, and said, "I wish to be small."

Almost immediately, Sofia shrunk to no higher than a mouse.

"Cool." said Plagg.

the tiny Sofia jumped through the portal to the suburb world. The portal immediately faded.

Then, the universal being created another portal, this one connected to the city. "Right." said the universal being. "Who's ready to go to the city?"
