Chapter Text

Mirabel was crying in the nursery because she was blamed by her Abuela for being in the way of her family members .Valentina and Isabela tried to defend her but They were held back by our parents who told them to respect and obey their abuela .Julieta and Agustin didn’t have a spine to defend their youngest daughter ,instead they agreed with her and forced her to keep her voice down.Luisa was overworked, Isabela was forced being perfect ,Valentina was facing side effects for her powers and Mirabel was the outcast of the La madrigal familia. Mirabel did have a gift but she didn't get a door because she was the future holder and would take Alma’s room when she passed away.

Mirabel went to the roof to clear her mind. she sat down and looked at the night sky.

Mirabel(in thought):”Why can't Abuela just accept me.

“She is always like’ Mirabel'! Stay out of the way’,”

“Stop hurting the familia.”

“Why can’t my parents defend me? They always support her which boosts her imaginary ego.” 

Mirabel heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see Valentina and Isabella standing there. 

Isabela :”Can we sit beside you?”

AFTER A FEW MOMENTS OF SILENCE.

Mirabel:”Sure.”

They both sat and snuggled her.

Valentina:”Your eyes are red and puffy from crying.”

Mirabel:”What can you expect When Abuela throws harsh words towards her 15 year old neita.”She said with a sarcastic tone.

Isabela:”You got that sarcasm from me hermanita.”

“Look,we are sorry that we could not protect you from them.”

Mirabel:”It's okay Senorita Perfecta, At Least you tried.”

Mirabel and Valentina laughed and Isabela rolled her eyes on her nickname.

Isabela:”Are you two done laughing.”

Valentina: Si,we are done,right mira.”

Mirabel( wiping tears from her eyes):”Si.”

Isabela:”Then Let's go.”

Mirabel:”Where?”

Isabela:”To make Chocolate Caliente, Luisa is waiting in the kitchen for us.”

Valentina:’Give me your hands,I will teleport us to the kitchen.”

They  teleported to the kitchen.

Luisa:”Hey guys,I am  boiling milk.Get the other ingredients.”

Luisa gave them each a cup of milk and they all started to make their Chocolate Caliente.

Luisa:”Here is your cup Mariposa. I wanted to apologise for not defending you and never being able to spend time with you.”

Mirabel:”It's okay Lulu, you don't have to apologise.”

Luisa:”Thank you Mira.”

They were chatting and drinking their Chocolate Caliente. Then they heard a gasp and saw Dolores coming towards them.

Dolores:”Drinking Chocolate Caliente without me , I am very offended you know.”

Mirabel:”Hey Dolores join us, we have an extra cup of milk and ingredients and Call Milo,Rina and Tonio too

Dolores:”Camilo and Antonio are off to sleep because they were tired playing with kids Carina is also asleep because she was having a headache.”

“Thank you for inviting me Mira, hand me the cup.”

Mirabel:”Here is your cup and the ingredients.”

Dolores:”Gracias Mirabel, But more than half a packet of marshmallows are gone.”

They all looked towards Isabela, who looked away and blushed.

Isabela:”Why are you all staring at me?”

Valentina:”Because your cup is filled with marshmallows and could spill any second now.”

Isabela:'Shush I like it this way and I bet I can stuff more marshmallows in my mouth then all of you.’

Mirabel:”Yes, she is right.Last time i checked,Her record Right now is 20 marshmallows

They all laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

Then Abuela showed up to see what was causing the noise in the middle of the night.

Abuela:”What is happening here.”

They all saw Abuela Red with anger.

Abuela:”What are you all doing!?”

Isabela:”Nothing Abuela, we were just making chocolate caliente.”

Abuela:”Have you seen the time? You have to go to Senora Perez to decorate their house for their daughter’s Quinceañera.Understand.”

Isabela:”Lo silento And Si,I understand.”

Abuela:”Luisa and Valentina you two also have chores.You have to do extra work tomorrow as well.”

Abuela Glared at mirabel.

Mirabel did not make eye contact.

Abuela:”Everyone wrap up and Go to sleep,you need to be useful for the town unlike Mirabel.”

Dolores heard Mirabel’s Heart Broke.She tried to speak but Abuela Interrupted her.

Abuela:”Go now and sleep.”

Isabela,Luisa and Dolores went to their rooms.But Mirabel and Valentina stayed behind.

Mirabel:Aren't you going to sleep?

Valentina: I could ask you the same question.

Mirabel:Fair point. But don’t you have chores to do.”

Valentina:Yup but I want to spend my time with my baby sister.

“Let’s have a sleep over.If you want we can have a pillow fight.”

Mirabel:”Sure,Thank you Val.”

They both teleport to Valentina’s room.

*After having fun and a pillow fight.*

Mirabel:( Yawns).” Lets sleep now”

They both Cuddled each other and dozed off to sleep.

*THE NEXT MORNING.*

Isabela:”Wake Up you two,you are late for breakfast and Abuela is mad at both of you.”

Mirabel:”I am up and can you please get my coffee ready.”

Isabela:”Coffee is for grown up’s.”

Mirabel:”I don’t Care.”

Valentina:”Wait a minute! It is 6 in the fucking morning and breakfast starts at 9am.”

Isabela:”No swearing,Be grateful I even woke you up.You know Abuela will be mad if she found out you two were late.”

Isabela:”Welcome,Now get up before Abuela wakes up.”

They both got up and got ready to start their day.

Valentina:”Wanna go for a morning walk.”

Valentina:”What do you want to do now?”

 They teleported to their training area and spared for some time.

Valentina:”Awe Man, I lost again.”
Mirabel:”Don't Blame me,I used only Fire this time.”

Valentina:”Hurry up, it's 8:30 am already.”

Mirabel:”Yup we are screwed and if Mama sees these scars, she will faint.”

They teleported to Casita in a second.

They both got Ready and Joined their family.

They both sat beside each other with their plates.

Abuela:Good Morning family.

“Now that everyone is here,I will now give you your chores.”

“Isabela you will decorate Senora Perez house for her daughter’s Quinceañera.

“Luisa,You will help isabela and the town.”
“Valentina, you are also on duty at Quinceañera.”

Abuela handed all of them chores except Mirabel.

After all of them left,Mirabel was cleaning the table.

Abuela:”Mirabel,Don’t be in their way.Am I clear.”

Mirabel:”Yes Abuela.”
Abuela:”Good.Now go and wash the dishes.”

Mirabel was fuming with anger to see her abuela just tossing her aside like Garbage.

She felt her Gift activate but controlled it because Abuela was present and didn’t want to expose it and be treated as a work mule for her like her family.

If things were her way she would have extinguished the candle by her wind or water powers and burn the candle.

Mirabel:”I am bored.Wait,I can just train my power in my free time.”

She changed her dress and started to head towards the training ground which was in the forest.

She divided her elements and started training.

A Few Hours Later.

Mirabel:”I CAN FEEL THE POWER.”
”I can beat Val hundreds of times with this power.”

“Though Val has energy manipulation with teleportation,I can still beat her.”

She rushed Back home to see Abuela waiting for her.

Mirabel:”I was out with my friends.”(Lie)

Abuela:”HAVE YOU SEEN THE TIME, YOUR MOTHER WAS WORRIED SICK!”

Mirabel:”I was just out for just a few hours, I am not gonna die or anything and -”

Halls echoed with the sound of the Slap.

Abuela:”HOW DARE YOU TALK BACK.YOU ARE FIRST GONE FOR HOW MANY HOURS AND THEN YOU TALK BACK TO ME.”

Julieta and Augustin were standing back but didn’t say anything and just looked at the ground with tears on their faces.

Mirabel was utterly disgusted,How was Abuela treating her and Her parents were at the back finding the floor very interesting.

Mirabel’s cheek was stinging with pain and became red.

Abuela:”GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM,YOU ARE GROUNDED.”

Mirabel didn’t say anything and went to the nursery.

On the Other Hand.

After the Quinceañera Decoration.

Dolores was rushing towards her primas with her siblings.

Dolores:”Please come with me it is urgent.”(Panting)

Isabela:”What Happened Lola.Why are you in a Panic?”

Camilo:”Abuela just slapped Mira because she was outside with her friends and for coming late.”

THEY TELEPORTED TO CASITA.

Isabela rushed towards Abuela.

Isabela:You guys go and get Mirabel to Dolores’s Room.

They all Agreed and went to the Nursery to get Mirabel .

Isabela:”ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND,YOU CAN’T JUST SLAP MY SISTER.”

Abuela:”Isabela Madrigal,Don’t talk to your Grandmother this way and respect your elders.”
Isabela:”I Have already lost all my respect for all of you a long time ago.You abuela treat us like we are servants of the town.The town is so dependent on us that they have become lazy as hell and badmouth the family.
“And you Mama and Papa,I doubt i should call you that,Have no fucking spine to defend your own Daughters and stand their in silence to  boost this Old bitch’s Ego.

Julieta:”Isa, please come back to your senses and you can’t call your abuela a bitch.”

Isabela:”She deserves this.”

Abuela:ISABELA, I HAVE NOT EXPECTED THIS DISRESPECTED OUT OF YOU.DON’T ACT LIKE YOU ARE THE USEFUL TO THE TOWN.ALL YOU DO IS GROW FLOWERS AND IT IS NOTHING SPECIAL.”

Isabela:”I DON’T CARE ABOUT USEFULNESS , I CARE ABOUT HAPPINESS WHICH YOU CAN’T IDENTIFY.YOU WANT MACHINE NOT FAMILY THAT WILL OBEY YOU.YOU ARE JUST SELFISH ABUELA
Abuela:”THAT’S IT,I HAVE HEARD ENOUGH.CASITA LOCK ISABELA IN HER ROOM TILL SHE REALIZES HER MISTAKE.”

Isabela Felt ground shaking under her and she was kicked in her room.She knew Casita didn’t want to follow orders but Abuela was the owner of casita Right now.

Isabela waited until every adult in the house was asleep and went to Dolores’s room.

As she entered,She saw Mirabel asleep and hugging Valentina and Luisa.

And the rest of the younger cousins were sleeping.

Isabela:”Is everything alright now.”

Dolores:”Physically yes but Mentally not, Mirabel was crying for hours until she fell asleep due to exhaustion and the young ones were tired due to drama and chores.

Valentina:”I cannot continue living like this, First being drained because of chores because the town is lazy as hell to move even a step and then seeing my precious mariposa being harassed by that Mentally ill old woman and that sorry excuse of mother staying silent.”

Isabela:”What If we Ran Away from this hell.”

Dolores:”Let’s Do it.”
Isabela:”Glad you can Agree.”

Valentina:”I will wake Luisa up.”

“Now we have to explain it to young ones and help them pack.”

“Dolores and I will explain our plan to them and Valentina, you will help them pack with                                                                                                         Luisa.”

After Waking her up and explaining to her their plan.They sprang into action.

Valentina and Luisa Started packing and Dolores woke all of her youngest siblings and Mirabel up.She and Isabela explained and All of them agreed instantly.

Isabela:”Lola,I am going to Abuela’s room to Get some of the money and tell everyone to get their allowance and also grab mine. It is in my closet.”
Dolores:”Sure Isa.”

After a few moments,They were arranging a mode of transportation.

Isabela:”Are you sure tonio? That You wanna join us.”
Antonio:”Yup,besides it will be lonely in Casita and besides mama and papa don’t really pay attention to me and I will follow wherever my favourite prima will go.”
Isabela:”Aww Tonio. I am your Favourite.”
Antonio:”I wasn’t talking about you,I was talking about mama Mira.”

Isabela was speechless and all of the other siblings were laughing in the background.

Isabela:”I have never been insulted like this in my life.”

Valentina:”Well Tonio,Why do you call Mira your mama.”

Antonio:”Because she is the best,She takes care of me,Reads me stories,makes clothes with animal embroidery,She even sewed me a plush version of parce at my gift ceremony.She is funny to be around…..”Antonio continues.

 Camilo:”Fair point.”

Mirabel:”Aww tigrecito,I am flattered.”Kissing Antonio’s Forehead.
Luisa:”Let’s go now guys,I have borrowed some horses from the farm.”
Valentina:”Where will we arrange carts in the middle of the night.”
Carina smirked and stepped up.

Mirabel:”Rina you are our lifesaver.Literally.”
Dolores:” Guys we might want to hurry up.I hear Abuela waking up.”
Carina:”Here it is.Camilo can you shapeshift and help them carry our luggage.”

Isabela:”Great idea,We will store it for emergencies and we can use Rina to draw us food.”

“Actually we won’t have any shortage and buy stuff if we use Rina’s Gift.”

Mirabel:”Tia Pepa will make a hurricane when she will come back to see her children gone.”
Dolores:”She wouldn’t care,She moved on from Tio Bruno's death quickly,It could not not make a difference for us.”

Valentina:”True,We could have saved him but he was being stubborn and came out of the walls. It was not a safe environment with rats all around. We didn’t even see his body after his death.”

Dolores:”We all were forcing him to come out but he didn’t and caught disease from the disgusting rodants.I don’t know how he survived for 10 whole years.”

Isabela:”I still miss him,He was a great uncle and would at least defend us.” 

All of them agreed.

Dolores:”Shit! Abuela is coming downstairs. RUN.”

All of them rushed to the cart and when they turned around they saw Abuela screaming.

Isabela started the cart and Mirabel used her powers to shut the door of casita.

Everyone(-Carina,Valentina,Antonio) stared at her with shock.

“YOU HAD POWERS!!”

‘AND YOU THREE KNEW.”
“Yup,We also had awesome fights but Mira won most of them.”
Valentina:”She actually wasn’t with her friends,She was training.”

Valentina:”She didn't have any friends who would spend time with her.”

Valentina:”Jeez,I was joking,Don’t strike me with lighting.”
All of them laughed.

Dolores:”Um Guys Abuela arranged a search party .”

Mirabel:”That Bitch will never leave us alone.”
Luisa:”I didn’t know you could swear.”

Valentina:”Wait if you fight her and you will hear so many swear words that you didn’t hear in your entire life.”

Carina:”If you steal mirabel’s swear jar , you would be a billionaire.”

Isabela:”Guys let’s get serious now,Abuela is chasing us and we know,If she wants something,She will do anything to get it.”

Mirabel:’NEVER.NOT AFTER HOW ALL OF YOU TREATED US AND ABUELA YOU ASSHOLE,AFTER EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE AND TREATED US YOU CALL US UNGRATEFUL BRATS.BECAUSE OF US THE TOWN WAS RUNNING.YOU WERE JUST COMMANDING AND SITTING IN CASITA RESTING YOUR ASS.”

Abuela:”YOU TAKE THAT BACK ,YOU BRAT.”

Augustin:”KIDS PLEASE COME BACK.DOLORES YOU ARE THE MATURE ONE,KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO YOUR SIBLINGS AND COUSINS.”

Dolores:”IF WE WERE ON THE SAME SIDE,WHY WOULD I RUN WITH THEM.MIRA IS RIGHT,YOU AND THE TOWN ARE UNGRATEFUL,I SUFFERED BECAUSE OF EVERYONE,YOU MADE ME YOUR GOSSIP MACHINE WHICH I DIDN’T LOVE.”

Julieta:”COME BACK WE CAN FIX THINGS.”

Isabela :”IT IS TOO LATE NOW,YOU DIDN’T HAVE SPINE THEN AND YOU DON'T HAVE IT RIGHT NOW, YOU ARE ONLY TRYING TO PLEASE ABUELA.AND I DON’T WANT TO LIVE IN THIS HELL NOW.”

Abuela:IT IS NOT A HELL,IT IS AN ENCANTO.”

Camilo:”THEN LIVE IN YOUR DELUSION ALMA.”

Luisa :“YOU ALWAYS TREATED ME POORLY,I WAS ALWAYS EXHAUSTED AND YOU DIDN’T FUCKING CAR.I WILL NOT LIVE LIKE THIS ANYMORE.”

Abuela:”LUISA,I THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE BETTER THAN THIS.”

Isabela:”Valentina and Mirabel NOW!”

“They blocked the only road that connected Encanto with the mountains.I say Let them die,I don’t care.Julieta Let's go back.Life will teach them the hard way .”
Julieta:”MAMA,don’t talk like this.”

Abuela:”I am tired right now.Let’s go back,get some sleep and we will figure this out by talking with Pepa when she comes back.And the town needs help tomorrow.”
Julieta:”Si Mama,Augustin Let’s Ride back home.”
Augustin:”What are you saying.The kids are in danger and you want some sleep.”
Abuela:”Then what can you do then.Lead the way Mr.Clumsy.”

Augustine was silent and turned to get back to the Casita.

Isabela:”Good Job Guys.”

Mirabel:”Thanks.”

They Travelled Till they reached the foot of the Mountains.

Dolores:”We should rest now,we don’t know what’s behind the mountains.And we can travel in the broad daylight.”

Isabela:”You are correct.But there are animals in the jungle and Antonio’s Sleeping.”

Mirabel:”I will create a Shelter with my Earth Powers and guard it.”

Luisa:”But you Won’t be able to sleep.”
Valentina:”She is correct,Why don’t you Let us handle it.”
Mirabel:”It is more important for you to sleep because you can lead the way out of the mountains and can handle things.”
Dolores:”Fair Point.”
Isabela:”Then I will Help you,You are alone and cannot handle the threat alone.”
Mirabel:”I can divide you know.”
Valentina:”Isabela’s right Mirabel,You can’t do this Alone even if you split into multiple elements.You need an Adult to keep you safe.”
Mirabel:”Fine,All of you stay back,I will create a shelter And Rina and you draw some iron fences.”

Carina:”Sure,Here.”

Mirabel created a small house-like structure.and put the fences around the house.

Mirabel:”Okay now,I will give it an Electric charge to give us some extra protection.”

Mirabel touched the fences and red electricity surrounded the fences.

Camilo:”It is so COOL!”
Mirabel:”I know right,Don’t touch it,you will be shocked.”
Camilo:”I am not dumb Mira,I have common sense.”

Mirabel:”Since when?”

Camilo:”HEY!”
Isabela:”Now go inside and rest. Me and Mira will be on Duty.”
Valentina:”Whenever you feel like to rest Inform me okay. We can take shifts.”

Camilo and Carina:”Good night prima.”

Mirabel splitted into different versions of Elements.

Mirabel(All together):”Don’t Say that!”

Mirabel(Earth):”Let’s Focus now. It will be day in a couple of hours.”

Mirabel( Thunder) (summoning a scythe):”Look out behind you.”Releasing his scythe to attack the threat.Killing a wild bear.

Mirabel(Fire):Phew! That was close.”Now I will burn it to hide the evidence from Antonio that we killed an animal that was seeing us as dinner.”

Mirabel(Water):”Now let’s Patrol for a couple of hours before we see the sun rising.”

Isabela:”We can see the sun rise, I have a spot where we can see it clearly.”

Mirabel(Wind):”It would be Awesome.”

After a Few Hours of patrolling and keeping the outpost safe from animals.

Isabela:”Let’s go,the sun will be rising in an hour.”

Mirabel Fused together.

Mirabel:Let’s Go!”

Isabela(Summoning  a vine swing): “Sit beside me,I will show you the spot.”

They Reached near the mountain top.And sat there.”
Mirabel:”Wow, it is a beautiful scenery.”

Isabela:”I Know right,Whenever i couldn’t sleep, i would come here.It is my safe spot”
“You know, You are the first person that I brought here.”

Mirabel:”That means I am your Favourite.”

Isabela:”Yeah,But don’t tell Dolores,She thinks she’s my Favourite.”

Mirabel:”She will probably hear you.”
Both of them Laughed and chatted for some Time.

Isabela:”You know,I can’t believe we are sitting peacefully in the morning.Abuela would have come and ruined it back then by giving us chores.”

Mirabel:”We are gaining our Freedom.”
Isabela:”True.”
Mirabel:”The sunrise is beautiful.”

They went back.And saw everyone making breakfast.

Dolores:”They were at the top of the mountain,Watching the sunrise.”

Mirabel:”You were listening to our conversation.”

“I am offended, you know,We spended time like we were real siblings.”

Isabela:”Sorry Lola.”

Carina:”Who is the favourite.”

Camilo:”It is probably me!”
Valentina:”In your dreams,I am the twin,I will be the Favourite.”

Antonio:”It is me.”

 They all were fighting loudly.(RIP Dolores's Ears.)

Dolores:”It is Mirabel.”

Camilio:”What!”

Isabela:”Yeah,She is my favourite.”

Valentina:”You two were fighting so much,That Luisa had to step in to stop you two.”

Mirabel:”We were pretending.Abuela didn’t like to see us bond and told Isa to be mean to me or she will separate us two for good.So when we were around Abuela we would fight and when we were alone we would hang out.”

Dolores:”I would sometimes join them.”

Mirabel:”We would have Sleepovers also.”

Valentina:”Why didn’t you tell us?”
Isabela:”It was our alone time.”

“Still you didn’t tell me that you had powers.”
Mirabel:”Sorry?”

Isabela:”Apology not accepted.”

They ate breakfast.

And were ready to start their journey.

Dolores:”Now,You and Mira will Sleep and I will Drive the cart.”
Isabela:”Okay.Val you will help Lola okay.”
Valentina:”Okay sis.”

Isabela and Mirabel went to sleep on one side of the cart.Hugging each other.(I love sibling bonding.)

Dolores:”Val, can you teleport us to the other side of the mountain.”

Valentina:”Ya sure.”

They teleported to the other side and saw a river.

Camilo:”It is the place where Abuelo Pedro died and the miracle was born.”

Carina:”Yeah,According to the story that abuela told us it is that place.

Dolores:”Let’s continue our journey.”

As they travelled they saw Gold butterflies sit on Mirabel.

Antonio:”Wow,They are so Beautiful.”

“But I cannot Talk to them.”
Luisa:”Have our Gifts Faded!”
Dolores:”No,I still have super hearing.”
Camilo:”Phew!”

Valentina:”Maybe they are the butterflies which represent the miracle,because I didn't see them before and the candle has butterflies engraved on it.”

Carina:”They are sitting only on Mira.”
Camilo:”So,You are trying to say that Mirabel is related to candle.”
Carina:”Maybe.”

After Travelling for some time.

Dolores:”Guys,I hear there is a town nearby.Maybe we can stay there for sometime.”

Valentina:”Yeah, we can rent a room or stay in a hotel.”

Luisa:”Okay guys,Remember we cannot show our powers to the people here.”
Antonio:”Okay.”
Dolores:”We can eat at a restaurant nearby,Let’s try some new dishes instead of arepa.”
“Okay we are here.”
“Camilo can you wake Mira and Isa up.”
Camilo:”Ya sure.Wake up both of you.”
Isabela:” Five more hours.”

Carina:”It is supposed to be minutes and Get up, we have reached a town.”

Mirabel:”Carina can you make me strong coffee.”

Carina:”Okay,But first drink water.”

Carina:”Would you like coffee too, Isa.”
Isabela:”No thanks.”
“I will book a hotel now.”

Dolores:”I will find a restaurant.”
Luisa:”I will unload the stuff and move it to the room.”
Valentina:”We will go with Dolores.”

Isabela went to a hotel.

Receptionist:”Hello Mam, How can I help you.”
Isabela:”I wanted to book Two rooms for three nights and two days.
Receptionist:”Okay mam,As per the data,There are two rooms on the second floor that are available.But they are connected.”
Isabela:”Okay,much is for the rooms.”
Receptionist:”It is XX  pesos for three nights.
Isabela:”Here is the money.”

Receptionist:”Thank you mam, Enjoy the stay.”

Luisa and Isabela went To the rooms and  unpacked the stuff and went to the restaurant.

 Alma and the couple reached near Casita.

They saw from a distance that Casita had fallen down and crumbled into dust.

Abuela:”Dios Mio!THE MIRACLE HAS FADED.”

Julieta:”What!”
Abuela:”MIRACLE HAS DIED.”

“We have to find them and return the miracle before the town wakes up.”

Julieta:”Where will we stay?”
Agustin:”I will make arrangements in the Church.”

Abuela:”We have to talk with Pepa when she arrives.”

"I have to make arrangements for a search party and some carts to travel out of Encanto.”

MEANWILE IN THE UNIVERSE

Camilo:”this food is so good!”
“Can I have more?”

Antonio:”Milo,You had three plates already.”

Camilo:”What’s the Matter.”

Luisa:”We have to leave this place because it is shutting down.”
Dolores:”We are all finished and you are the only one left.”
Camilo:”Fine,Carina, can you draw more of this food when we go back.”
Carina:Sure,Now let’s go.

They paid and then left

Isabela:”On my way I heard that there is a market in this city.”

“We can buy a map of Colombia  and explore the city.”
Mirabel:”Sure Isa,But can we go back to the rooms we are very Tired.”
Dolores:”Agreed.”

They went to their rooms and freshened up.

Camilo:”So,there are four king size beds.Who will sleep with who then?”

“Dibs On Mirabel.”
Antonio:”I wanted to sleep with Mirabel.”
Camilo:”It is my turn, Back then you were always with Mira.”
Valentina:”Let Mirabel choose who she will sleep with.(Please choose me).”

Mirabel:”Well,I don’t know.”

Isabela:”Then I can decide then.”
Mirabel:”Ya sure,Go on.”
Isabela:”Dolores with Carina,Luisa with Valentina,Camilo and Antonio.”
“And me with Mira.”

Valentina:”No Fair.”

All of the siblings  were fighting (-Dolores,Mirabel,Luisa and Carina)

Luisa and Carina were already sleeping and sharing a bed.

Mirabel:”Lola,Can we sleep together,I am already Tired and they are fighting like kids.”
Dolores:”Ya sure,I don’t mind.”

Isabela:”Okay then Mira has betrayed us.So Val Let’s share a Bed.

They all slept after a long day of traveling.

THE NEXT DAY

Isabela:”Camilo!,Get up.We are going to be late because of you.”
Camilo:”I am up.Jeez.”
Isabela:”Good,Now freshen up because we are exploring the city.”

They reached the market.

Carina:”Well we could have just used my powers instead of spending money.We were only exploring as per the plan.”
Isabela:”I have just bought a map,ask your siblings and cousins about their spending.”
Dolores:”The earmuffs were on sale and I liked the design.It was matching my gift.”

Luisa:”I just bought a book.”

Valentina:”I like this purse,It was nowhere in encanto.”

Mirabel:”I didn’t spend on anything.”

Camilo:”I bought this chameleon plush,it was so cute.”

Antonio:”I bought a toy lion.”

Carina:”So Mirabel and Isabela are the only responsible ones.”
Valentina:HEY!”

Dolores:”We have two days more in this city and we will continue till we find a stable village to live in permanently.”
Valentina:”Ya,so we better spend it well.”

They were exploring but then Mirabel bumped into an old lady while walking

Mirabel:”Lo silento Senora.”

Old lady:”It is okay mija.”
Mirabel(Whispering to Carina):Doesn't she look like abuelo pedro.”

The old woman heard the word Pedro and was curious.Then asked them.

Old Lady:”Wait, you have an abuelo named Pedro.”

Carina:”Sí señora.”

Old Lady:”Does he look like this.”(Showing them a picture.)

Mirabel:”Si,It is him.How do you know him?”

Old lady:”He is my older brother.”
Carina:”WHAT! Abuelo had a sister.”
Old Lady:Si,My name is Adela Madrigal.”

“How is he doing,I haven’t seen him in 50 years.He must be 75 by now.”
Mirabel:”Well senora,He died at 25  while protecting Abuela and our parents from terrorists during the war.”

Adela:”What! He died,we thought he was alive and was living in the new village he ran to.We were separated when the village attacked.

“ because we left the town before the attack because we knew the war had started.Alma was in labour.He told us to run away but we insisted on staying and running together. But he said that after birth he would join us but told me and our parents to be safe.We had no choice because my children were also small.”
Carina:”We have other tio or tia also.”

Adela:Ya,But they moved out.

“Come to my house and let’s talk more about it.”

Mirabel:”First let me call my siblings and cousins and introduce you.”
Adela:”That would be great.”

They left after their newly met Abuela after she gave them their address to meet them.

Carina:”I have a gut feeling ,we should not meet her.”
Mirabel:”Me too,I feel that she is hiding something.”
Carina:”Yeah.Let’s go to the hotel now and tell everyone about what we found.”
Mirabel:”Maybe Lola has told them,We sometimes forget she has super hearing.”

Carina:”We have now 1 day left in this town.How about we meet her before leaving the town.”

Mirabel:”Ya sure,Let’s discuss it with others.”

Before they reached and saw Camilo rushing toward them.

Mirabel:”Why are you panting Camilo?”

Camilo:”Guys,I have seen so many amazing things in this town.”

Carina:”Like what?”
Camilo:”Cars running with Engine,Electricity.Only our Hotel is a traditional one who works with candle.Everything automatic.I am impressed.”

Carina:”What are Cars?”
Camilo:”It is used for transportation and I saw bikes too,Cars are four wheeler and Bikes are two wheeler.”
Mirabel:”WOW,we were that behind from technology.”
Carina:”I will draw it all,If you show me how it is.”
Camilo:”I also forgot to tell you that we have phones are also there.They are devices with which we can do anything.Everything is available.We can communicate from anywhere and many more and AC are also there for cooling.”
Carina:”Okay I will draw it all lead the way but first we have to discuss something important,Gather everyone else.”

They heard Dolores from behind.

Dolores:”I have done it,I have not shared the news yet though.”
They gathered in the Hotel room.

Isabela:”Okay,What do you want to discuss?”
Mirabel:”Umm,I don’t know how to tell you this but we met Abuelo Pedro’s Sister who lives in this town and she wants to meet us.She gave us her address when we bumped into her.”
Valentina:”I guess we should meet her,I mean we could get a free place to live.”
Carina:”That’s the thing,Me and Mira don’t trust her,Our gut feeling is telling us that she is hiding from us.”

Isabela:”Guys, what are your thoughts about it?”(He turned to Luisa,Camilo and Dolores)

Luisa”I think we should meet her.”
Dolores:”Well I don’t know what she is plotting because her whole house is fully soundproof.We shouldn’t take the risk.What she plans to kidnap us.”

Camilo:”Lola is right.We can’t risk anything right now.”
Isabela:”I think Rina, Mira and Lola are right,Soundproof house does sound  suspicious.”

Luisa:”I think we should take a chance,We could have another family member who could help us.”

Isabela:”We will meet her after the last day in town so that we can run away without any disturbance and not hurry in packing.We have to transfer our stuff in carts.”
Carina:”No need for Carts,I will draw you a big Car and some technology to help us.”

Isabela:”What is a car?”

Camilo explained all of the technology and everyone was in awe.

Isabela:”We could use it.Carina can you start drawing but remember no pressure and take breaks.”
Carina:”On it and thanks Prima.”
Camilo:”Let’s go Sis.”
Carina:”Lead the way.”
They both went outside and started taking pictures for things to draw.

Valentina:”I wish back then Casita could have AC,We were dying of heat back then.”
Mirabel:”Agreed.”
Antonio:”What will we do now,I am bored.”
Mirabel:”Well we can play board games which I brought.”
Valentina:”Wait a minute,You said you didn’t buy anything.”

Mirabel:”Milo bought it but he gave it to me.We were going to play tonight.”

Luisa:”Okay,we will save some fun for the night,How about we play truth or dare.”

Mirabel:”It will be interesting.”
Antonio:”Sure.”
They played Truth or Dare.(No motivation to show the whole game.)

Carina:”We are back!”
“Here are your devices and everything needed.”

Mirabel:”Thanks,Woah it is so cool.”
Camilo:”I know right,I changed all your wallpapers to your Favourite things.”
“Mirabel’s is Butterfly,Isabela is Cactus with a flower on top,Luisa is Unicorn,Dolores is Music notes,Carina is multicolored to represent Art and Valentina is Night sky,Antonio’s is tiger.”
Isabela:”Thanks Camilo! So thoughtful of you.Our phone covers are also the same as wallpapers.”
Carina:”No need to thank me.”
Luisa:”Wow,How did you know I like Unicorn?”
Camilo:"You had a lot of unicorn related stuff which you used to hide from Abuela.”
Luisa:”Thanks.”
Carina:”Do you want to see the car?”

Mirabel:”Ya sure.”
They reached outside of the hotel.

Antonio:”It looks so awesome.It is an 8 sitter.”
Valentina:”It is Majestic.”

They all admired the car and gave compliments.
Mirabel:”Sits are so comfy.”
“Dibs on the front seat.”

Camilo:”Hey I was planning on the First seat.”
Mirabel:”Too Bad,So Sad.”
Carina:”Dang Mira got savage.”

Isabela:”Let’s go to sleep,we have a long day ahead.”

They went to the hotel rooms and started packing their stuff so that there wouldn't be a rush in the morning.

They all went to sleep except Isabela and Dolores.

Dolores was sleeping next to Camilo and Isabela was next to Mirabel.

Dolores:”I know you are awake Isa.What happened?”
Isabela:”How,you are wearing earmuffs.”
Dolores:”I know because you snore the loudest when you sleep.”
Isabela:”Rude,but why are you awake.”
Dolores:”Well I am not able to sleep because I am thinking about something.”

Isabela:”Well,what are you thinking?”

Dolores:”I asked first though.”
Isabela:”I was thinking if running away was a good option,We lost our parents and family there.”

“Espacially the younger ones,we are adults so we can live without them but they are not at a maturity level.They can be emotional,Camilo was connected with Tia pepa,Mirabel with Mama.Antonio is very young,He just got his gift he needs guidance from someone older and more wiser.I didn’t want to steal his childhood and parents.”
Dolores:”Isa Please calm down.”
Isabela:”I don’t know Lola,I just made a plan and they all agreed without thinking.I don’t think I am doing a good job being a guardian.”
Dolores:”You didn’t do a good job.”
Isabela:”I know.”
Dolores:”You did a great job,you are the reason we are free,you are the reason everyone here can express emotion without being scolded by Alma,You are the reason everyone can genuinely smile and laugh.You know Mirabel was so depressed she was trying to run away after Antonio’s ceremony,She was fed up.She used to cry everynight.”

“Well our relations got better,we are each other's family.We don’t need anyone else other than each other.We broke the cycle of abuse.We saved Antonio from abuse and burden.You were saved from numerous amount of proposals and perfection,I from being a gossip machine,Valentina and Carina from overusing their gift,Luisa from overworking,Camilo from not being himself,Mirabel from being neglected,abused,etc.”

Isabela:”Thank you Lola.Well now What are you thinking?”
Dolores:”I have my suspicions about the Adele.Soundproof house,It was not soundproof when we came.Mirabel and Carina getting weird feelings when meeting her.”

Isabela:”I also think something is not right.We are hearing about her for the first time.We will see tomorrow what happens,We have to sleep now.”
LATER THAT MORNING

Isabela:”GUYS STOP STEALING MY SHAMPOO.IT IS MY THIRD BOTTLE THAT HAS GONE MISSING IN A SPAN OF 1 WEEK.”
Valentina:”Palmolive is a good brand,We didn’t steal it, we borrowed it.”

Isabela:”That brand is only in encanto and I am down to my last bottle.”
Carina:”You forgot that I can draw more.”
Isabela:”Rina when this last bottle goes out,can you draw me more.”

Carina:”Ya sure.”

Luisa:”Get ready we have to meet her also.I will stuff our luggage in the car.”

After Some Time

Valentina:”Mirabel and Camilo are still not ready and we are running late.Check out in 1 hour.”
Mirabel:”We are here.”
Mirabel was wearing a white shirt and an overall skirt with all her siblings and cousins symbols on the overall shirt and her powers symbols on white long sleeves shirt and numerous amounts of butterflies. 

Camilo was wearing a yellow jacket with black shirt  with parachute pants with a black chameleon symbol in the jacket  and butterfly symbols inside the shirt in golden thread.

Antonio:”You guys look so cool!”
Luisa:”You guys look awesome!”
Valentina:”Wow!”
Isabela:”Looks so cool.”
Dolores:”Where did you buy it?”

Carina:”Make me one too so that we look like triplets.”
Mirabel:”Thank you guys.I will make them for all of you.”
Camilo:”Let’s go meet our so-called abuela.”

They all checked out from the Hotel.

Isabela:”Well, does anyone know how to drive this thing?"
Valentina:”Nope.”
Luisa:”Not an Idea.”

Dolores:”I can try.Carina can you draw me an instruction guide.”

Carina:”Sure thing sis.”
“Here you go and don’t you dare crash this masterpiece.”

Few moments later

Dolores:I might have become an expert at this thing.”
Carina:”By crashing it FOUR TIMES IN A ROW.”
Dolores:”Shush,Mira can you show me the address.”
Mirabel:”Here it is Lola.”
Dolores:”It is downtown,We just could have walked there!”
Isabela:”We didn’t want to take the risk by walking, what if she captures us.”
Valentina:”True.”

Dolores:”Well now I have to turn back again.”
Carina:”Don’t you dare crash it again,It took 1 hour to draw it perfectly.”
“I will kill you if you do it again.”
Dolores:”I did better than Isabela,She would have totalled it.While I made minor scratches.”

Isabela:”Why is everyone bullying me?”

Mirabel:”We are here.”
Camilo:”Get out everyone,It is suffocating back here.”
Antonio:”Don’t be rude.”
Luisa:”Well I will go first.”
Mirabel:”I will go first,I will hit them with lightning if they try anything.”

Isabela:”I will go first,I am the Eldest.”
Camilo:”Everyone on the cool side is trying to sacrifice themselves.”

Dolores elbowed him.

Camilo:”How that hurt.”
Dolores:”Good.”
Carina:”I see a cart.”
Antonio:”Where?

Carina:”behind the house.”
Dolores:”I see some similar stuff.”
Valentina:”Guys don’t go in!”
Mirabel:”What happened?”
Dolores:”There is a cart with abuela’s and our parents’ stuff here.”
Isabela:” Mierda,What do we do now,I have knocked on her door.”

They all rushed towards the car.
They saw Abuela Alma opening the door.

Abuela:”Get back here you brats.”

Julieta:”Kids,Please come back.Casita has broken down,We need your help.”

Mirabel:”Dolores Please hurry up.They are breaking the car window..”
Dolores:”I am trying Mira.”

Pepa:”Kids please,We are already devastated from your Tio’s Death.Don’t abandon us.”

Camilo:”Don’t guilt trip us,You didn’t care about him.10 years he was there,You stopped looking for him after a month after the gift ceremony.”
Abuela:”Take that back young man.”

Camilo:”Never!”
Dolores:”Engine started!Buck up your seat belts.”
Mirabel:”Let’s Go!”
They drove at full speed and got out of town in a few minutes.

Abuela:”Adela,Do you have something we can chase them with.”
Adela:”Yes,I have a Car.Let’s chase them.
