Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - How It Ended

Chapter Text

The Aldmeri Dominion was beaten, the Thalmor were crushed. Peace was finally restored to Tamriel. Thanks to the leadership of the Dragonborn, alongside Queen Ayrenn, the Thalmor were pushed and cornered back in the Summerset Isles. It was by pure chance that the Dragonborn, with Serana, Tullius and Ulfric, happened upon a heavily guarded crypt that held Queen Ayrenn, the founder of the first Aldmeri Dominion. Her body was frozen in time, unageing, undying, fully aware of her surroundings. After many attempts, the Dragonborn and Serana were able to break the spell that held Ayrenn captive and with her help, the Thalmor were weakened. Her return and her exposure of her capture and imprisonment at the hands of her own allies, those whom she trusted greatly, brought many people over to the side of the empire. With the imperial legion, the armies of Hammerfell, High rock, Skyrim, the Black Marsh and Morrowind, the Thalmor were ultimately forced to return to the Summerset isles and the neighbouring provinces.

The people of Valenwood quickly surrendered, offering their aid in exchange for mercy. Mercy which was granted thanks to the Dragonborn. Elsweyr had originally planned to remain sided with the Thalmor but agreed to maintain neutral for the remainder of the war.

Once the Thalmor were corned within the Summerset Isles, they sent out a messenger to arrange a peace talk. Those present were the Dragonborn, Ayrenn, High queen Elisif, Serana, Ulfric Stormcloak and General Tullius. After many days, a peace treaty had been signed. The Thalmor would disband, The empire would once again rule over Tamriel with one small change in leadership. And the people of Tamriel would be free to worship which ever gods they wished, including Talos. Instead of placing someone on the throne who was more corrupt than Maven Black briar herself, A young man who was discovered to be a long descendant of the first emperor, took the throne (Although he was entirely unsure if he was worthy to take such a position) and was able to maintain peace. The young man was able to accomplish much during his first year as emperor, such as wiping the slave trade from Morrowind, helping clean up the ash from Solstheim, repairing Winterhold in Skyrim. He had done that which very few before had accomplished. Bringing true peace to Tamriel.

Ulfric Stormcloak stepped down as Jarl of Windhelm and began a life of solitude alongside the greybeards, learning the way of the voice. Tullius maintained command of the Imperial legion for many years to come, eventually (reluctantly) training one who would succeed him. High queen Elisif stayed on the throne until peace was truly restored to Skyrim, then she would step down and disappear from the public eye.

Aryenn stayed in the summerset Isles for a while to make sure her people could finally live peacefully out from under the control of the Aldmeri Dominion and the Thalmor. Though many remained who followed the ways of the Thalmor, they didn’t remain for long, ultimately perishing in battle or surrendering. Once the Summerset Isles were at peace, Aryenn made her way back to Skyrim to be with the one she had grown to love.

Serana kept the vampires of Skyrim in check, working alongside the Dawnguard to deal with any rogue vampires who refused to submit to the new vampire lords rule. There were many problems such as vampires refusing to submit to their new way of life, vampires attempting to overthrow the new lord, among other things. But eventually all vampire clans submitted to the new vampire lord, who, with help from the Dawnguard, kept peace between mortals and vampires. Though many were still unable to go outside during the day, they no longer had to remain hidden in the shadows of the night.

And the Dragonborn faced many more battles, both of the body and of the mind. Once he was able to guarantee that peace would remain in Tamriel, he finally stood down from his role of protector and took to a life of peace... for the most part.

Chapter 2: Chapter 2 - Elisif Experiences A Vampires Bite

Summary:

You sneak into Elisifs room and indulge a little request of hers.

Chapter Text

Elisif was fast asleep in her room. She had just announced her stepping down from her position as High queen of Skyrim, leaving the people to choose a new jarl of Solitude which would then lead to choosing a new high king or queen. Skyrim was at peace meaning her job was finished. She felt the room suddenly grow cold. A sign she knew very well.

“What brings you here, love?” She asked quietly.

“And here I thought I was being sneaky.” You joked. “Do I need a reason to visit you?”

“Of course not. I just thought you came here about my announcement.” Elisif said.

“Announcement?” You asked.

“I’m stepping down as high queen. Skyrim is at peace, along with the rest of the world. My reason for taking up the job as high queen was to bring back peace to Skyrim. Now that it has, I can let someone else take the reigns.” Elisif explained.

“Oh? And what will you do after you step down?” You teased.

“Well I’ve been thinking of moving in with my lover. I think you would like him. Handsome, beautiful glowing eyes, very gentle.” Elisif says.

“Well I think he would love to have you move into his home.” You said.

You both chuckled and held each other close.

“I do want to ask, will I have to become a vampire as well?” Elisif asks.

“No. That will be your choice to make, I only ask that you take time to think about it if that is what you want. Though I would like to mark you.” You say.

“Mark me?” Elisif asks with false innocence.

“Yes, mark you. A bite to show all vampires and mortals that you belong to me, just as I belong to you.” You reply.

“I think I would like that.” Elisif says quietly. “Have you fed yet?” She asks.

“Not yet. I’ll feed when I get back to the castle.” You reply.

Elisif blushed before speaking “You could always feed from me.”

“Are you sure Elisif? I don’t mind waiting till I head home.” You explain.

“I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to know what it feels like.” Elisif blushed harder.

You leaned closer to her neck. “Okay then. I’ll be as gentle as possible.”

Elisif leaned her head to the side to give you better access. Your fangs grazed her neck.

“Ready?” You ask. Elisif nods. You slowly use your fangs to break the skin and feed from her neck. Elisif gasps. The pain is almost immediately replaced by an intense wave of pleasure. You could smell her arousal.

“Do you enjoy that?” You teased.

“I suddenly feel really good.” Elisif says.

“Can I help relieve you, my love?” You ask. Elisif nods. Your fangs remain in her neck as you insert three fingers into her folds. In and out, you pump. Building up speed with each sip of blood you take. Elisif gasps and moans become louder as she gets closer to her climax.

You pull out your fangs and use some healing magic to close up her wound, planning to end her orgasm with some different.

“I’m gonna.... I’m gonna...” As Elisifs orgasm hit her, you sunk your fangs back into her neck, causing a huge wave of pleasure to intensify her orgasm. You slowly removed your fingers from within her and sucked them, tasting her delicious essence.

“So... how was my blood?” She asked.

“Exquisite.” you reply.

Elisif fell to the side. You caught her in your arms and pulled her close.

“Sorry I’m a bit dizzy after that.” Elisif chuckles.

“I might have taken a bit too much. Sorry about that.” You say.

“Don’t be. It was amazing. It felt strangely good.” Elisif replied.

“So when do you want to move in?” You asked.

“Is it ok to move in 3 days from now? The people still have to choose someone to take my place.” Elisif asks.

“Of course, though it will be tough. Having to wait 3 days to have you all to myself will feel like agony.” You joked.

“What about the others? Will they be ok with it?” Elisif asks.

“Elisif, you know they love you just as I do. They'll all be glad to have you living with us. Especially Serana.” You answer. “Get some rest now, dear. You need it after what we just did.”

“Can you stay? For tonight at least?” Elisif asks.

“Of course. I would love nothing more.” You reply. You and Elisif lay down under the covers and snuggle close, succumbing to the gentle embrace of sleep.

Chapter 3: Chapter 3 - The New Jarl of Solitude

Summary:

You and Serana attend the announcement of the new Jarl, making sure nothing bad happens.

Notes:

so I've been thinking of adding Babette to the story but I'm not sure whether she should just be a side character or part of the relationship. I'm not entirely sure how to go about it. she is hundreds of years old but... any ideas?

Chapter Text

The days passed by rather quickly. You informed Serana of Elisif stepping down as high queen and moving into the castle. Serana was more that happy to have Elisif move in. On the third day, two people were standing in front of the blue palace, Elisif standing between them to count the votes for the new Jarl. The first was a young man, Varnok Frostbrand, Rugged, feisty, quick to temper. He believes the empire is still under the control of the Thalmor. The second was a young woman, Lysandra Stormbloom, Patient, kind, always thinking of others. She seemed to gather the most supporters over the days.

You and Serana were nearby, watching the vote. Though Elisif had plenty of protection, you couldn’t help but feel protective. Something usually goes wrong and from what you’ve heard, Varnok seemed like the guy to not take losing very well.

“People of Solitude, we gather here today to decide who shall take my place as the Jarl of Solitude. First we have Varnok Frostbrand.” Elisif announced. Varnok stepped forward, a smug grin on his face. He gave a hearty roar to the crowd, gaining a few cheers.

“And second, we have Lysandra Stormbloom.” Elisif announced. Lysandra stepped forward, keeping herself calm and collected. She gave a bow to Elisif then to the people.

“Now we shall count the votes.” Elisif said. A man approached with two lockboxes. Elisif counted the first lockboxes votes then placed them back in. She then counted the second lockboxes votes then placed them back.

“The votes have been counted. For Varnok, 45 votes.” Elisif declared. Varnok started celebrating, as if he had already won. His few supporters cheered for him.

“And for Lysandra.” Elisif said. The tension could have been cut with a knife. “73 votes.” Elisif declared. Varnok was distraught. You couldn’t help but chuckle at his reaction. Lysandra stepped forward, giving a speech to the people. As she was doing that, you spotted Varnok pulling out a dagger, slowly making his way towards Elisif and Lysandra. Serana guarded Elisif and Lysandra while you quickly stepped in, paralyzing him with a spell.

“No one likes a sore loser Varnok.” You said. He struggled against the spell but failed. “Guards, this man has attempted to kill Lady Elisif and the new Jarl, Lysandra Stormbloom.” You said.

“Very well. Varnok Frostbrand, by order of the Jarl, I am placing you under arrest.” The guard said as he and two other guards carried his paralyzed body away. You picked up the dagger and took a sniff.

“Figures. Several different poisons are coated on this blade.” You said.

“Good thing we were here. Who knows what might have happened.” Serana said.

“Agreed. I told you something was going to go wrong.” You replied.

Serana chuckled "You did. Seems I owe you a drink."

"You know my favourite." You said with a smirk.

"I know. Milk." Serana chuckled. You both headed over to Elisif.

“Are you ok, Lady Elisif?” Lysandra asked.

“Of course, all thanks to these two.” Elisif said with a smile.

“Any time, my lady.” You said with a bow. Elisif giggled. “So, shall we get going?”

“Of course, let me just grab my things.” Elisif said. She had two chests of her personal belongings. You carried one and Serana the other. Once you were all out of view, you cast a spell, teleporting you all back to castle Volkihar.

Over the years, the castle had several changes made to it. The main hall which was once used for feastings was now a place for dinner and on the odd occasion, where the leaders of the vampire settlements would meet to discuss issues and address them. The dungeon was altered to be an indoor alchemical garden. The smithy remained the same and the kitchen was refurbished to be a proper kitchen. And the coffins that were once scattered around the castle, now had their own rooms. Why Harkon never let the other vampires have their own quarters often confused you. There was plenty of room. The rubble that prevented access to the garden was cleared up, as was the rest of the castle. The corpses were disposed of and any cattle that still lived were freed, their memories altered so that they wouldn't remember the horrible suffering they were forced to endure.

The room that once held the bloodstone chalice now housed a true bloodspring, one of many. It was a rather simple creation, requiring a single drop of a willing humans blood to allow it to create an endless supply of blood for 1000 years. Human blood because it is the only bearable blood. Elves blood tasted too sweet, orcs was too bitter, argonians tasted like rotten flesh and Khajit's seemed to cause vampires to get high, as though they had consumed skooma.

Most of the original occupants of the castle refused your rule, the few who didn’t refuse just didn’t care who was in charge or what rules were set so long as they got their blood. The ones that refused your rule attempted to overthrow you, meeting their untimely demise.

Valerica was more than happy to live under your rule, so long as you didn’t end up like her husband. She had her own room in the castle, choosing a different one to the room she once shared with Harkon. She often spent her time in her garden, along with Serana, making up for lost time. Valerica still continued her experiments with necromancy but chose to keep them tame, even after you came to rule over the soul cairn. You led Elisif to her new room, just a few doors down from yours. You made sure she knew she was more than welcome to come to your room whenever she wished, that her room was for when she wanted time to herself. Elisif settled in as you went to get some blood.

Chapter 4: Chapter 4 - Some Small Talk

Chapter Text

Several days had passed in peaceful bliss. Elisif set in well, learning the castle layout thanks to Serana. You were sitting in your room, sipping on some blood as you were reading a book. The Lusty Argonian Maid. You had heard about it several times before yet you couldn’t understand what made it so special. You heard your door open, revealing Elisif and Serana.

“Hey you two. What's up?” You asked.

“Just exploring. Thought we’d pop in for a little visit.” Serana said.

“I’m surprised with how big the castle is on the inside compared to how it looks outside.” Elisif said.

“I know. Got lost for 3 days in these bloody halls.” You muttered, earning a chuckle from Serana.

“I told you to take a left at the gargoyle.” Serana said.

“There’s gargoyles everywhere Serana. How was I supposed to know it was that specific one?” You asked. Serana shrugged her shoulders. Serana noticed the book you were reading and snickered.

“Why are you reading the Lusty Argonian Maid?” Serana couldn’t stop snickering.

“I’ve been wondering what it’s all about yet, there isn’t anything special from what I’ve read so far.” You replied.

“Let me save you the time, it’s just a mans fantasy made into a book.” Serana said.

“Oh. Well... that settles that then.” You said, setting the book aside. “So, are things to your liking, Elisif?”

“They are indeed. I must admit, I wasn’t expecting things to end up this way.” Elisif said.

“What do you mean?” Serana asked.

“I never expected peace to come so soon to Skyrim, let alone all of Tamriel. To be able to spend time with the one I love, to... settle down.” Elisif said.

“You aren’t the only one. Only reason it came as soon as it did is because the Thalmor pissed me off.” You said.

“You’re telling us that the only reason you united Tamriel against the Thalmor is because they pissed you off?” Serana asked with a grin.

“Yep. Honestly was getting sick and tired of how high and mighty the Thalmor were, about how they were the future of Tamriel and how they would route out all Talos worshippers. The amount of people they kidnapped over nothing more than mere suspicions. It also didn’t help that they kept hunting me down, trying to kill me because apparently I was a major threat to the Aldmeri Dominion... which I was technically.” You answered.

“And thanks to you getting... pissed off, Skyrim is at peace, as is Tamriel.” Elisif said.

“So what will happen should someone else bring back the Aldmeri dominion?” Serana asks.

“I’ll take a stand, unite Tamriel once more and prove to them that they aren’t unbeatable. But until then, I plan to enjoy the peace for as long as it lasts.” You said, holding up a glass of blood.

“I’ve been meaning to ask, How are things in the imperial city?” Serana asked.

“Things seem to be going well. Scelanus seems to be doing far more than the previous emperor did. Not even Maven Black Briar is able to hold any sway over him.” You said.

“I’ve heard about her. Wasn't she the jarl of Riften?” Elisif asked.

“She was until the previous emperor was removed from the throne. She's been trying to put Scelanus in her pocket and every time, she fails.” You chuckled.

“The only good thing that woman has done is make some nice mead.” Serana said.

“Too sweet for my liking.” You said.

“I prefer wine over mead, myself.” Elisif said.

You and Serana looked at one another then back to Elisif.

“Traitor.” You both joked in unison. You all laughed at that. Moments like this were what made fighting that war worth it. If you had to go through all of that again to get this outcome, you would.

Notes:

So I'm wondering if I should add Mirabelle as a relationship, having her survive the BS at the college. do you think I should? the same with Astrid. I feel like both were done dirty by terrible writing. let me know in the comments.
