Recently, you had joined the crusaders on their mission to defeat Dio. Unlike the rest of them, you had no connection to Dio whatsoever. You had never even met the guy. You just knew he was bad news and wanted to help. You had somehow managed to get dragged into one of their fights against Dio’s agents and they saved you from getting hurt in the process.
You were a stand user like them, but you weren’t that good at using your stand, you have yet to fully unlock your true potential. Seeing them fight and use their stands really made you inspired. So you begged them to let you tag along on their journey. After a lot of hesitation and trying to convince you otherwise, they finally gave in and let you join them. After all, it was good to have another stand user on their side against Dio.
Your next stop was in India. After checking into the hotel, you decided to go off on your own to explore the area. You were a traveler and that was how you had crossed paths with the crusaders in the first place. You saw this as a good opportunity to continue with your sightseeing from before you joined the crusaders.
However...It was a bit overwhelming in the busy dirt street you had found yourself in. There were lots a street vendors selling all sorts of stuff and lots of beggars and scammers trying to get your attention. You just shrugged them off as you looked for something to really catch your eye. And soon enough, you would find something, or rather someone, who did.
In the crowd you saw a figure standing out, a tall blonde man dressed as a cowboy. You see his blue eyes looks around until they finally meet yours. He smirks and you feel awkward as you realize he caught you staring.
He walks over towards you. “Howdy. Didn’t expect to catch a pretty lady staring at me today.”
“Sorry.” You instinctively apologize.
“Don’t be sorry, I kind of enjoyed it.” He smirks. “You don’t look like you’re from around here.”
“I’m not, I assume you are the same as well?”
“Yep. I’m...on business here with a coworker of mine.” He pauses. “So what brings you here?”
“Oh... I’m just on vacation with my friends. We’re stopping through different countries on our way.” You feel nervous, you technically weren’t wrong, but obviously couldn’t say why you truly were here.
“Sounds nice. I’m a bit of a nomad myself, I’m always on the road.” He pauses for a bit. “Say, why don’t I take you on a date?”
“R-right now?” A flustered look comes across your face. “Um...well I’m flattered, but we just met...and I have to meet back with my friends soon.”
“That’s fine by me, but maybe consider it for later the next time we meet?” He winks.
“Y-yeah...I’ll think about it.” You blush. “Oh, look at the time! I’ve got to go, my friends are probably wondering where I am.” Again, you technically weren’t lying. But it really came across as an excuse.
He chuckles. “Alright. The name is Hol Horse, by the way. Looking forward to seeing you again, sweetheart.”
He watches as you run off into the distance and smiles. He walks by a window and looks at his reflection. Suddenly, The Hanged Man appears behind him.
“Hehe, was that one of your girlfriends? She was cute...would be a shame if something bad were to happen to her.” Hol Horse grimaces. He always got the creeps from his “partner”, but he was better off with him than on his own. “Hehe, I’m joking….by the way, I sense Polnareff is here. He betrayed Lord Dio and joined the Joestar group. I know he’s hunting me down right now, his impulsive anger will be his downfall. Let’s kill him and pick off the rest of his group as well.”
“Right.” Hol Horse gets out his stand, The Emperor. He smirks, knowing all the money he will get by eliminating the Joestar group. It would be enough for him to live comfortably for the rest of his life, he could even retire from this hitman business if he really wanted to (and if Dio would let him go like that…). Maybe after all of this was done he could find that girl he met earlier and finally go on that date…
