   Summary

   Dick Grayson is eight years old when his parents die in a "tragic accident." He is sent to live with his mysterious godfather, in a sprawling mansion in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey outside of Gotham.

   He's pretty sure the house is haunted.

   Some of the inspirations behind this include Edgar Allen Poe, the entire Gothic Horror genre, and The Addams Family. This fic will focus more on the found family aspect of Batman, but there will still be Batman stuff happening (leaning heavily into the supernatural elements tag.) Expect mostly Dick's POV (chapters from another character's POV will have it mentioned before the chapter.) Tags will be updated as needed.
