   Summary

   Erzsebet Báthory arrived months before originally planned, coming in late winter specifically to see the night creatures being forged. She was livid that Abbot Emanuel had tricked her into believing that he was a true forge-master, so she bound him to the machine he’d sold his soul for, leaving her own people in charge of making night creatures. As for the knights … she came up with an alternative use for them: omega broodmares to create an army of dhampirs.
