Chapter Text
They had just finished their concert and were now in their assigned vans. The ones in the first van were Jeonghan, Seungkwan, Wonwoo, Jisoo, The8, and Woozi, while the others were obviously in the other van.
“Jeonghan…” Jisoo yawned as he called out to Jeonghan, who was sitting at the back.
“Hmm…?” Jeonghan mumbled, also feeling sleepy, his eyelids getting heavier by the second. He, Wonwoo, and The8 especially felt sleepy and tired. After all, they were the low iron deficiency line.
Wonwoo, who was sleeping beside Jisoo, spoke up.
“I heard from Min… that we’re gonna have a company dinner later…” he mumbled.
“So you guys better get your sleep now,” Woozi said, putting down his phone and settling down in his seat.
“Yeah, I also heard that from Seokmin…” Jisoo yawned and nodded.
“I agree, we better get our sleep before those energetic fools drain it faster…” The8, who was sitting beside a sleeping, tired Seungkwan, replied.
“Our vitamin Boo is already knocked out…” Jeonghan gave a small chuckle, smiling. Seungkwan, who was sleeping on The8’s shoulder, looked like he was having a nice dream.
After a while, they finally arrived at their dorm. Currently, all six of them were living together, since they somehow made this deal. To of course — rock, paper, and scissors.
Anyway, the six boys decided to rest up first, messaging the group chat that the other boys could go ahead first, as they needed their beauty sleep. The others agreed. It was now 9 p.m., and the others were getting ready.
Based on the last messages in the group chat, the others had already been there an hour before. Everyone got ready, asking if they looked okay.
“Hannie-hyung, is my hair alright?” The8 asked Jeonghan, to which he nodded with a smile.
“Mhm, I’m sure Jun will like it even more\~” he teased him with a sly smile.
“Aishh… hyung…” he mumbled, embarrassed.
“Oh come on, don’t make him so embarrassed, Jeonghan~ save it for later,” Jisoo said, also joining in, making the other two laugh.
“Should I wear my glasses today, guys?” Wonwoo asked them, having just entered the room.
“Hm…? Getting all readied up for Mingyu-ah?” Seungkwan asked as he put on his makeup, looking at Wonwoo through the reflection of the mirror with a smile.
“What..? Of course not…”
“I think you look good either way, Wonwoo, but it’ll be better if you have your glasses on. Since you’ll be able to see,” Jihoon answered.
“I agree,” the others said in harmony.
“Shall we go now?” Jeonghan asked them, turning to look at them.
“Aigoo\~ aren’t you all too pretty right now?” he said with a smile, like he was a proud mom.
“Jeonghan, you should be the last person to say that,” Jihoon said, the others laughing as he did.
“Alright, alright, let’s go now!” Seungkwan said as he led them out the door. They entered their van.
“I sent a text message to Jun a little while ago that we were coming now, but for some reason, he hasn’t responded yet…” Minghao mumbled, as he fidgeted with his phone.
“Maybe he has his phone off?” Wonwoo said, who was sitting beside him. Seungkwan also agreed, saying he does that often.
“I texted Soonyoung too. Looks like he has his phone off as well,” Jihoon said, looking down at his phone.
“Same here. Cheol hasn’t replied to me either,” Jeonghan said, turning off his phone.
“It’s probably low connection, guys,” he continued. “Let’s not think too much about it,” he said with a comforting smile.
The others agreed. They talked for a while before arriving at the given location. It looked like a bar—well, they thought it was a restaurant.
“It’s a bar, huh?” Jihoon spoke up, as he looked at the big building with fancy lights.
“A fancy one too,” Jeonghan followed, as he walked toward the entrance, while the others followed.
They first went through security, giving the card the driver had given them earlier. They entered, going through the black doors, and were immediately met with the men speaking to other women.
“They look happy, huh? Don’t they?” Jisoo said, a smile that wasn’t good forming on his lips.
“Especially our dear leader, hm…?” Jeonghan said with the same smile on his face.
Seungcheol was laughing happily with a tall, beautiful woman who seemed like a worker there. Seokmin was joking around with a girl, also laughing. Jun and Vernon were sitting beside two girls, and Mingyu and Soonyoung were talking to, of course, two other girls—smiling and laughing while drinking.
Seungkwan’s eyes darted to Vernon, his boyfriend, who was letting a girl touch his thigh.
“Well, this’ll be fun, won’t it?” Jihoon hummed, looking at Soonyoung with eyes like a tiger, smiling.
“I shouldn’t have worn glasses today…” Wonwoo mumbled with a sad look on his face.
“Oh come on, don’t say that, honey… You’re getting to see Mingyu talk to another woman right now…” Jeonghan said.
“Drinking happily with…” Minghao continued.
“So what should we do…?” Wonwoo said in a low voice.
“Obviously confront them,” Jeonghan said quickly, as he looked at Seungkwan.
“Hey, I can read your thoughts across from here!” he said, pointing at him.
“Wipe that sad look off your face, Seungkwan…” Minghao, who was beside him, said.
“But… Hansol is letting her touch him… He doesn’t even let me put my head down on his shoulder. Let alone touch his thigh…” Seungkwan said, letting his insecurities out once again.
“I think I’ll just go home tonight, guys,” Wonwoo mumbled.
“What? No! Absolutely not,” Jeonghan said with anger in his voice.
“You two know what to do.” He looked at Minghao and Jihoon, and they both nodded. Minghao grabbed Seungkwan’s hand, while Jihoon did the same to Wonwoo.
“Shua, let’s go,” he said to his twin, who was quiet and still smiling as he stared at Seokmin.
With that, they went to the guys. Cheol immediately met eyes with Jeonghan.
“Hey, S.Coups, who is this pretty girl you’re with?” he said with a smile, but Seungcheol knew better.
Seokmin stopped talking the second he saw Jisoo walking toward them.
“Hey, Seokmin,” he smiled. I’m dead, is what Seokmin thought.
Minghao, who was practically dragging Seungkwan to follow him, heard Seungkwan telling him to stop. Jun was the first to see them, his eyes surprised like a cat. Then finally, Minghao and Seungkwan were in front of them.
“Junhui… who’s your friend?” he asked with a smile.
Vernon met eyes with Seungkwan. He immediately knew something was wrong and stood up, discarding the girl who was beside him.
“H-Hey…!” the girl shouted when her hand dropped as Vernon stood up. She angrily stood up and walked away, embarrassed.
“Seungkwan-ah… what’s wrong?”
Wonwoo, who was with Jihoon, stopped him.
“Woozi… wait,” he said, and Jihoon did so.
“What?” he asked, turning to him.
“I don’t think this is a good idea,” Wonwoo mumbled.
“No, them talking and flirting with other women is not a good idea,” Jihoon protested.
“I’m scared… what if Min actually is cheating?” Wonwoo said.
“Well, that’s what we’re here to find out. And for the record, I don’t think Mingyu is that type of person,” Jihoon said, as he again held Wonwoo’s hand.
“I also think Hoshi-hyung isn’t like that…” Wonwoo mumbled.
“I know,” was all Jihoon said before they were now in Soonyoung and Mingyu’s faces.
