Chapter Text

We had just gotten done killing another person. It was our 57th . . . or was it our 54th? Maybe it was our 60th? It’s hard to keep track. There’s been so many. They all start to blur together eventually. They all scream the same. Run the same. Die the same. Most boring of all they all taste the same.

Bloody: “Kill, eat, repeat. Day after day after day. Is this really all we’re going to do? Is this really all we’re good for!?”

We were starting to think so . . . maybe it’s time for a change. Maybe we should find something else to do, but what? We have been roaming around pondering for a while now. We find ourselves in front of the pizzaplex. We always seem to end up here when we’re bored. No matter which way we go it seems all roads lead back to the pizzaplex. Maybe that means what we’re looking for is in here? We agree there is only one way to find out. We walk through the empty halls until we stumble upon the daycare. We peer through the windows. It looks empty. We enter. No one is here. We turn to leave.

Moon: “Bloodmoon! Why are you here!?”

Bloodmoon: “We are not here to kill moon man.”

Moon: “Then why are you here?”

I consider ignoring him and just walking away. But the other decides to humor him. Maybe he could help us.

Bloody: “We grow tired of the constant killing! It is no longer fun! We need something else to do!”

Moon looks as if he doesn’t believe us. I don’t blame him. This is weird even for us. Any skepticism Moon had was quickly replaced with intrigue.

Moon: “If you need something to do then why don’t you help me with my work?”

Work with Moon? I guess it could be interesting.

Bloodmoon: “What would we be doing?”

Moon: “Mostly building stuff. Since you’re getting bored of destroying things why not build stuff instead?”

Yes that might work. We can build! At least I think we can. Might as well try. If it turns out to be boring we can just leave.

Chapter Text

Bloodmoon’s pov:

Moon: “Okay so that piece goes there and the other piece gets screwed on top of that one.”

Bloodmoon: “Like this?”

Moon: “Yeah just like that!”

We have been helping Moon fix the portal for hours now. It’s not fun but it’s also not boring so we tolerate it. Occasionally Sun will pass by and give Moon concerned looks. This time he decides to talk.

Sun: So what are you doing?”

Moon: “Just fixing the portal.”

Sun: “Okay.”

Sun still looks concerned. “We should mess with him.” We walk on all fours and slowly creep towards him. Sun looks like he’s about to run off. Before we can pounce Moon smacks us on the head.

Bloodmoon: “Oww!”

Moon: “If your going to cause trouble you can leave.”

We glare at Moon but he doesn’t seem to care. We go back to helping Moon with the portal.

Moon’s pov: I didn’t think Bloodmoon could be this calm. Every other time I’ve seen him he’s been feral. After spending hours with him I’m starting to find it easier to make out who is in control. Bloodmoon is the more violent one. His movements are always jerky and rushed. He gets frustrated easier than the other one. Bloody on the other hand is much calmer. His movements are slower are more calculated. They both seem to be equally as smart as each other. They also seem to work very well together. Sometimes whoever is in control will mumble something meant to be heard be the other twin. Or laugh at at something I can only assume the other had said in their head.

Bloodmoon: “How did you get your kill code under control?”

Moon: “I took a lot of practice. Why do you ask?”

Bloodmoon: “We don’t like constantly needing to kill. We want to do other things but our code won’t stop screaming at us.”

Moon: “Is your code bothering you right now?”

Bloodmoon: “Yes. It’s constantly telling us to rip everything apart.”

Moon: “I can look at your code if you want. Maybe I could find a way to stop it?”

He nods clearly not believing I can actually help him with his code. We continue repairing the portal. I’ll figure something out. I know I can.
