   Summary

   Vincent Blake hates his life. He's been blacklisted by the FBI for harboring a known fugitive, been shot at, and had his supposedly unlisted address blown to smithereens. On the run with one of the FBI's most wanted he settles into a temporary life in New Jersey as he works to clear their names. Unfortunately his presence catches the attention of local amateur bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum. Now the clock is ticking and it's anyone's guess who'll get to Vincent and Carter first. The FBI, Torrent, or the bounty hunter and her bumbling sidekick. Personally Vincent would rather be shot because Stephanie Plum is a walking disaster.
