Chapter Text

It was a quiet night for everyone, the sound of trees bustling by the force of the wind, the comfortable quiet atmosphere that surrounded each and every one of them as they rested in their place. Taking in every moment to savor the peacefulness before going back to the hellhole of a loop against fixing generators and being chased down by the killers. It was VERY tiresome, doing the same objectives over and over again. Not knowing when will... this, ever end.

It was getting quite cold recently, so most of them sat by the ever-burning fireplace to warm up. Two Time was sprawled all over the couch, seemingly out of it. While Noob just sat beside them to their left. Although a bit creeped out when they saw how Two Time was just staring at something. To be fair, everyone was a lil freaked out by them, because of their religious beliefs about the "Spawn" and whatever else they had said about them.

On the other side, sat Guest 1337 in one of the armchairs beside the couch. Drinking a cup of cocoa, savoring the warm feeling of the hot chocolate goodness. While Chance did the same to the other side, except he fidgeted with the coin in his hand as he kept flipping it every now and then. It wasn't really a sight to be surprised about.

Taph leaned against Dusekkar, while he was reading a random book he found in the cabin. Since there's nothing else he can do to entertain himself in this situation. They were sitting beside the stairs with the soft mattress below them. (The one where the robot is in the lobby.......)

It just continued to be like this until an explosion like thing happened in front of them.

Or more like a flash if you ask me, it left everyone confused onto why that randomly happened until the realization hit them slowly.

Suddenly phones popped outta nowhere. Two Time was snapped out of it when they felt something hit them on their head, and most of them received the phones just by it spawning in their arms. Chance almost let his phone slip into his cup of cocoa, before succeeding to catch it in time before it spilled or anything like that. Taph was woken up by the fact that a phone was on his head. Dusekkar found it funny how it didn't fell from his head and was just placed there perfectly on top of him.

"Is this one of the Spawn's blessing upon us?" Two Time spoke up after that long while silence, holding the newfound phone in their hands as they clutched it. 

"Err... no. Probably not." Shedletsky replied as he walked in, phone in his hand as he answered Two Time.

"This could make good use y'know. We should make a group chat for the rounds and stuff." Chance says, already on his newfound phone, seemingly scrolling to something. Probably TikTok. How? I have no idea.

Everyone agreed to his statement though. The idea not being that bad actually. So everyone made their accounts and Chance made the group chat.

"Enlighten me... dear comrades. ...How do I use this?" Two Time spoke up, right. They probably don't use technology all that much before. So Noob taught them the basics and whatnot.

"Splendid! Would y0u want the 1ce tea or the green t3a miss 1x?" Pr3tyPriincess held out two teacups, ice tea on her right, and green tea on her left. Very happy to have an actual tea party instead of having to imagine to drink from it. 1x1x1x1 sat on one of her pink chairs crossed legged, before she spoke up, completely going along with it.

"WHY, TH3 GR33N T34. 0F C0URS3.." She replied, Pr3tyPriincess nodding her head as she poured down the green tea for the latter to drink. After that she sat down across the table as she drank from her own cup. 1x1x1x1 couldn't lie, but this actually tastes good, for some reason. Both of them completely ignoring the chaos around them as they enjoyed the small tea party. Surely nothing would bother them if they just ignored it, right?

"BLUUDUD WHAT THE H3LL!!" Pr3tyPriincess yelled as a blue-colored brick hit the vase on their table, smashing it into pieces as the flowers flew out of it as well. 

"S0rry 'princess', I didn't see 1t there." Bluudud replied sarcastically as he shrugged. Completely ignoring the mess he just made as he continued to chase down an almost out of breath C00lkidd as he ran around the house. 

Pr3tyPriincess was about to throw hands onto Bluudud, before she was stopped by a now stood up 1x1x1x1 in front of her. "H3'S N0T W0RTH Y0UR T1M3, K1D." She said, just getting a frustrated "hmph!" In response. Pr3tyPriincess crossed her arms as she looked away from Bluudud, who was messing up the entire house just so he could catch C00lkidd. For whatever reason he has.

"Someone stop those two hooligans." Mafioso chimed in, who was currently reading some random newspaper as he watched them trash the house at this point.

"How about you do it?" Itrapped joked, to which he received an annoyed huff in response. He was sitting on one of the armchairs next to Mafioso. He was apparently cleaning his sword.

"Refrain from speaking ever again." Mafioso replied, a hint of annoyance in his tone. Deciding to ignore the guy as he continued to read his stupid newspaper that was obviously out of date. Itrapped just chuckled as he continued to clean his stupid sword.

"U - UGH F|NE.... .. 1'LL- DO ITTT..." Noli whined, before letting out a sigh as he tried to teleport to where Bluudud and C00lkidd were. They were actually outside, Bluudud was ready to hit C00lkidd with a snowball he got before Noli teleported right in front of him in time.

"..NOLIIIIII.....!!!!!!" C00lkidd yelled as he ran behind Noli, clinging onto him as he just teleported in front of them. 

"WH4T'S— WH4T'S TH_ COMM()T|0N HERE...?" He questioned as he wrapped an arm around C00lkidd, looking at a slightly annoyed Bluudud as he waited for an explanation.

"Nothing's happening. C00l here was just being a BABY about getting h1t by a snowball." Bluudud rolled his eyes as he explained, snowball in hand as he gestured towards it.

"Y0U SAID YOU'D GIVE ME H0T COCOA FIRST!!!1!1 YOU PROM1SED!!!" C00lkidd protested from behind Noli, still very afraid that Bluudud would hit the snowball at him right now.

"OKAY— 0k4Y SHU7 UP.... j-st st0p fight1ng and- @nd tr4shing the h0use!! mK4Y?? I'LL M4K3 Y-OU GUY$- C0CO4!!" Noli shouted, the two didn't seem to protest his idea, or say anything else after that. He then pushed them both inside the house as he decided to make cocoa for them.

I'm such an awesome parental figure fr. He thought to himself. Faintly remembering a certain moment and person when he said that. Huh. Noli then spawned in two cups of cocoa, just to get back with a rather ironic and silly sight.

C00lkidd was asleep, very much hugging Bluudud like he would disappear if he didn't. Bluudud would've told him off to go sit on another chair, but as soon as he did so the latter instantly fell asleep. Bluudud gave up on trying to push C00lkidd away as he just let out a defeated sigh.

"...Y0u are telling N0 0N3, old man." Bluudud threatened Noli the second he laid eyes on him, he gritted his teeth as he crossed his arms in a frustrated, yet embarrassed manner. 

"SUR3- SUR333333333..... . .. . . Y*u @re s000 int1mid4ting!!!!!!111111" Noli replied, although obnoxiously as the sarcasm in his tone was completely unnecessary. To Bluudud. 

In a quick flash, phones popped outta nowhere. Giving Noli the bright idea to take a picture of the two of them instead of questioning where it came from.

"#### Y0U PURPL3 GUY KN0CKOFF!!!!1!" Bluudud semi yelled at the now giggling Noli, who hurried away with the newfound phone in his hands. Their cocoa automatically teleporting to the nearby table in front of them.

And then the phone fell off of Bluudud's head, just realizing that probably everyone here received phones now. And C00lkidd also has one atop of his head.

"...Anyone else received a phone on the most random spot ever?" John Doe spoke up, his head peaking from the kitchen doorframe. Confusion written all over his face.

"Yeah. 3veryone did, dude." Bluudud replied, unamused with the fact that it was the most obvious thing he heard all day. Now going through his phone as he decided to watch whatever the hell he watches, I don't know💔💔..

Where does this kid learn his manners from... John Doe thought, before retreating back to the kitchen as he was currently making something for the rest of them.

Mafioso received his on the table to his right, and Itrapped almost stabbed his phone with his sword upon it popping up. 1x1x1x1 and Pr3tyPriincess were surprised to see phones spawn in their now-empty teacups.

Bluudud looked around and saw Guest 666, who had a comically large phone in his hands while he was confused onto where the hell this came from.

"H4HAA! Bro g0t a com1cally larg3 phone....!!" He laughed at the sight, while Guest 666 just shot him a glare. Bluudud didn't even care that everyone can see C00lkidd hugging him while he was sound asleep. 

"Shut the hell up..." Guest 666 signed as they huffed, walking away from the main area to their room. They don't wanna deal with Bluudud's bullshit right now.

Half an hour later, the glorious group chat was made. Well, in the making. And who made the group chat? 

The very awesome Noli!!!!!!!!

“Welcome back, Shed. How’d it go?” Builderman greeted him, only to be met with the man sobbing pathetically into his arms. Okay then… He’s guessing it didn’t go well.

“IKEPTMISSINGMYSLASHESISWEARIMBETTERTHANTHIS!!” Shedletsky replied to him, his words rushed and muffled as he burried his face into the latter’s chest. Builderman just nodded as he stroked his hair, in hopes of calming down this grown ass man who’s currently acting like a baby.

”HE- KNEW MY EVERY MOVE AND I MISSED HIM… MULTIPLE TIMES..!!” Damn, that means Jason wasn’t messing around at all. He too would be scared if the guy just crept up behind him without making a single sound… Well the guy is just menacing in general to be honest.

“There, there… ‘M sure ya could hit em next time…?” Builderman tried to comfort him, which he assumed had worked somehow. Considering the fact that he was just hugging him close and didn’t say anything else at all. And also because of the fact that his wings were covering him too. Like he was hugging him for a second time.

Man I am so fucked!

Okay okay, calm down Chance. It’s fine! It’s finee… You’ve done this a lot before… there’s no difference here. Right? RIGHT?? Okay whatever! Enough of overthinking all this right now. I need to down this Bloxy Cola if I want to survive here.

And that is what he did, his mind was filled with anticipation and fear from the fact that Jason is sprinting towards him at full speed ahead. He managed to run away from him with the speed given to him and stall for some time, that did not work whatsoever. Jason lunged his machete at him, hitting him from like-he assumed was 2 shedletskys away. How the hell??-

Chance ran away from Jason, giving themself enough distance to shoot him and do some more running. He was overjoyed that his gun went off and he successfully shot him. But that overjoyed expression on his face went away as soon as they saw how he was staring at them. And with that he got slashed by Jason again, his health draining more than the average since with he got more tails than heads from his coin earlier. 

They were sure they had like, 10 weakness stacks on them. It just multiplied as he frantically flipped his coin while being chased by said killer. They probably had 113 health, and now he was reduced to having like 43 out of all those hits from Jason. He was extremely fucked for sure if he kept landing on tails, which did happen. But surprisingly he managed to dodge Jason’s attempts to finish him right there and then. A small part of him wondered how he was still alive at this point.

They ducked behind a wooden wall, circling around it with Jason as he successfully got three heads in a row. They juked Jason to the right as they frantically fixed their hat, removing all his weakness stacks at last. There was still 30 seconds left on the clock, in which he got ambushed by Jason as they were distracted for a second. He almost tripped on the grassy stairs because of that.

With 23 hp left, he tried to shoot him again in hopes of getting more time to run away. His gun ended up missing him by an inch, and he was for sure he had like-some weakness stacks on them. He was for sure gonna die here, he was very, VERY sure of it. Jason swung his machete at them, now leaving them at 1 hp. This was for sure messing up his mind right now. He even closed his eyes and thought it was just like that, but nooo. They just had to have 1 hp left with an enraged killer hot on his tail with 10 seconds left on the clock. 

Chance was slightly thankful that Jason ran out of stamina from trying to chase him, but he didn’t let his guard down. They circled around a huge grassy boulder?… with treasure behind it..? Whatever. He couldn’t believe that Jason was actually missing all these hits around this. They sprinted away from the boulder, their stamina running out. Jason used raging pace to try and finish him off, but the clock turned 0 and they survived.

When Chance entered the lobby, he was greeted with surprised stares from his companions. He assumed that they were spectating him and all that… He let out a shaky sigh, and after that he bursted out laughing. Not quite believing that they just survived ALL THAT.

Sure, he had multiple injuries all over them, but he was too surprised with the fact that they just- juked Jason multiple times, with him being on death’s doorstep at that point. He wiped the sweat off his forehead as he tried to compose themself.

”You should really stop gambling when they’re chasing you, seriously dude.” Elliot walked in, scolding the now shaken up gambler as he approached him, giving them pizza to eat after that round. And maybe tend to their wounds as well.

“Not sure if I can keep that promise.” He chuckled to himself, taking the pizza in front of him as he began eating with his heart’s content. And with that they earned a slight nudge from the pizza man, slightly annoyed with their statement. But in a good way, he supposed.

“That was quite impressive, I must say.” Guest 1337 chimed in, leaning against the doorframe as he too, was just as surprised as he was. “For a second, I thought you wouldn’t be able to get rid of all that weakness without him lunging towards you first.” He added, it was like Guest had just read Chance’s mind there.

”That’s what I was thinking! Man that was an awesome clutch right there.” Chance exclaimed with pride, now back to the usual dangerous-living prideful person he was. 

As soon as they fully calmed down, they went straight to their room and laze around until the next round starts. They collapsed onto the bed, a soft thud came afterwards. They stared at the ceiling of their room for a minute, before abruptly reaching out to grab their phone beside their nightstand.

I survived the infinity!!!!

As he was teleported back to the cabin, he just stood there. Contemplating on what had just happened. Zoning out while he stared at the run down wooden floor. He was abruptly snapped out of it when a familiar voice called out to him.

“H1111 Uncle J4son!!”

Jason snapped his head around to look at c00lkidd, who was standing right in front of him. Seemingly jumping around and very much full of energy right now. Jason just gave a small wave at him, tilting his head to the side as if asking what he wanted.

“That was s0oooo c000000LL!!! CAN Y0U TEACH ME HOW TO MOV3 LIKE TH4T TOO???” c00lkidd exclaimed with excitement, jumping up and down in front of the silent yet horrifying man above him. It was clear that the little guy was watching him the whole time. Maybe the others too as well… Whatever.

Jason thought about it, on one hand, he would make him happy. On the other hand, he’d make him more dangerous than he already is with that. If 007n7 wasn’t nerfed by… He’d be done for sure. But does it look like he cares right now? 

Reluctant, he nodded at c00lkidd. Agreeing to teach him basic jukes, not wanting to disappoint the child who seems so ecstatic to even learn how. “YAAAAAA444Y!!!!!111” c00lkidd cheered as he followed Jason behind. Skipping his way as he walked alongside him.

Meanwhile…

007n7 was in his room, lying in bed as he stared at a picture of his oh so beloved son. His precious little boy, the sun who brought light to his moon, the center of his world. He was in one of those times where he zones out and think about what went wrong. The possible solutions which would lead to unresolved conflicts anyways. He let out a huff, knowing it was completely useless to think about it right now.

He sat up on his bed, and put the broken framed picture he once held atop of his table. He glanced at it one more time, tears threatened to fall as he gazed at it for a second longer. He was then met with a low ding! that came from his phone, it was just notifications from the group chat. He took his phone and held it in his hand. He didn’t pick it up to check the group chat, oh that was not the reason at all.

He stared at the faintly lit up lock-screen, the wallpaper being him with a rather… old friend beside him, together. They looked so happy that time, maybe it was even one of the most happiest moments he felt before gaining a son. 

As soon as the tears streamed down his face, he let out a stifled sneeze as he did so. He didn’t know why, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy when he did. He wonders why…

Bluudud was playing on one of his devices as usual, on the couch sat as he shared it with Pr3tyPriincess on the left. She was watching some sort of romance show on the big television. He didn’t really understand why she likes those so much, most of them are so stereotypical and stupid. He thought. He just continued tryharding on his game as he sat there.

That was until c00lkidd walked in like he was some sort of professional assassin. What the hell is he doing? Bluudud thought, before leaning near Pr3tyPriincess, who was still engrossed onto the show she was watching. 

“What’s up with h1m?” Bluudud spoke up, watching as c00lkidd practically skipped and jumped around the living room. Pr3tyPriincess looked over to the whimsical looking red kid and understood what he meant by that.

“No idea. Maybe he hanged out w1th Mr. Jason to0 much.” She shrugged as she continued watching her show. Not wanting to continue talking with him, and Bluudud knew it. She just wanted to binge watch whatever is on right now.

He lied in bed, blanket over him as he tried to go to sleep. But no matter what he tried, what position he slept in, he just couldn’t sleep. He couldn’t shake off the uneasy feeling, almost as if a shiver run down his spine. He stared at the ceiling, contemplating on whether or not he should go with the idea that popped up in his mind. Before the sound of violent thunder seemed to snap him out of his senses. 

Trembling, he got off the bed and went out his room. Making sure he closed the door silently as he walked amongst the long hallway. It wasn’t even that late, he assumed. So the others were probably still awake. He could hear a faint yell, followed by a scold, and most importantly, someone interrupting them both. He guessed it was from Bluu, Pr3ty and Itrapped, all together somewhere. But he didn’t give mind to that now.

He walked down the hallway as he had a specific place in mind. It didn’t take that long until he arrived at his destination. With his head hung low, he reluctantly knocked on the door, hoping that the other side was still awake. The door actually opened right after he knocked.

”Y3S?”

He felt a little nervous under their gaze now. But nonetheless, he spoke up, his voice slightly wavered. 

“um…”

He started, clutching onto his pillow-like plushie as he looked away. Another loud thunder strike can be heard as they stood there. He trembled slightly as he was caught off guard because of it.

“…can 1 sleep with u tonit3…?”

He asked, his voice a bit quiet as he stood there. He looked worried, scared, and a bit uneasy, even. His slight tremble didn’t go unnoticed.

“…SUR3.”

c00lkidd hugged their leg as they agreed to do so. Even nuzzling his head a bit as he just continued hugging them. Out of everyone here, he feels the safest with them. Other than his awesome dad, of course! 

But he isn’t here, is he?

He does hope he’s doing alright and is well.

1x1x1x1 stood there, letting the kid hug him for as long as he wants. He even reached out to pat him on the head, comforting him in the simplest way possible. After a minute or so, c00lkidd finally lets go and walked into his room, 1x followed from behind.

He helped c00lkidd get on his bed as he got himself comfortable. They didn’t even need to talk, they were already used to each other’s presence to understand. It only took like 2 minutes before c00lkidd finally fell asleep, hugging his drakkobloxxer plushie close. 

1x1x1x1 couldn’t understand, but something about the kid made him feel… different. Seeing him sound asleep beside him, like he wasn’t just scared earlier, he looked so innocent. A part of him was a tiny, teensy bit, envious of him. It rather reminded him of bitter memories of before. But he knew better than to make that a big deal right now.

He then finally laid down on his bed at last, staring at the ceiling for a second. Before their gaze shifted onto the sleeping child next to him. He reluctantly wrapped an arm around him. He was a bit surprised to when c00lkidd did so back, albeit he didn’t really mind. 

He never thought a random kid can make him feel this way before.
