Chapter 1: The Proposition
Summary:
Your parents bring a rather unusual proposition to you
Chapter Text
You exhaled loudly as you continued to type away at your computer. It had been a rough four hours since you started your assignment. For four long hours you locked in on your studies. Midterms were coming up, and you had to take all the time in the world to prepare. Currently you were attending a well known university. You were studying hard to become a registered nurse, and the courses were proving to be challenging.
You cursed as you felt your hands cramping up. It was your sign to finally take a break from the computer. Your eyes were aching from the brightness of the screen, and your throat was dry from the lack of water. You stood up from your chair and headed to the kitchen to fetch yourself a beverage.
As soon as you began to descend the stairs, you could hear your parents whispering about something. This caused you to stop dead in your tracks. Your parents weren't ones to whisper amongst themselves and keep things from you. This caused your alarm bells to start ringing.
"It's probably nothing." You said to yourself.
You continued your walk down the stairs. Finally you made it to your kitchen and retrieved a bottle of water from the fridge. In a matter of seconds you had the cap off and chugged the fluid eagerly.
It was the sound of footsteps closing in behind you that caused you to pause. You turned around to see both of your parents approaching you. Your mother had her hands clasped over her heart, and your father wore a very serious expression. You felt your heart drop into your stomach.
"Hey... is everything alright?" You asked.
"(Y/N).... We must speak with you. Please accompany us to the living room." Your father said.
"Am I in trouble?" You asked cautiously.
"No, not at all. There is just an important matter we must discuss."
You swallowed the lump in your throat before following your parents to the living room. Your parents sat on the couch, and you took the recliner that sat directly in front of them. Both of them glanced to each other and nodded before looking at you.
"I had a very admirable figure step into my shop today." Your father started.
Hearing that wasn't surprising. Your father owned a very well known shop that all the heroes went to. He made and sold all kinds of equipment, gear, and different costume parts. It was very popular, and the business made him filthy rich. He had some plenty of business with big names like All Might and Hawks.
"Enji Todoroki came into my store today."
"You mean Endeavor?" You inquired. Your father nodded.
"It had been a long time since he had shopped. The two of us got to talking. Did you know he has a very talented son, whom is studying in the hero course at UA?"
"Ok....?"
Your father grabbed your mother's hand before continuing. "His quirk is quite admirable. Half cold half hot. He will make a great hero when he graduates. Enji told me he is worried about his son's future. He fears his priorities are not in order. Endeavor said he needs someone in his son's life that will guide him towards greatness.... a life partner to keep the legacy going."
Your eyes widened at your father's speech. The red flags were waving violently. You did not appreciate where this conversation was heading.
"Why are you telling me this dad? What are you trying to say!" You yelled, the hysteria being evident in your voice.
"Sweetheart, your mother and I talked. We and Enji believe it would be best if you married Shoto."
Your jaw slowly dropped at the statement that just came out of your father's mouth. There was no way in hell he just said that. You must have heard wrong.
"What did you just say?" You asked with venom dripping from your voice.
"(Y/N) please don't make this any harder than what it has to be."
"Don't make this harder! What do you mean? You just said I should marry someone I don't even know! What is this? The 1700s? I will not agree to this proposal!" You screamed.
"Darling, this would be securing your future. This would continue our legacy. You would be guaranteed a husband and children." Your mother chimed in. You couldn't help but glare at her.
"Mom, I know people are afraid of me because of my quirk, but to set this up so I'm guaranteed a husband is just insulting. Do you really see me as that undesirable?!"
"Of course not! Enji said the opposite! He thinks you would be a perfect match for Shoto! He knows all about your quirk, and we agree that it is a treasure. That's why we want to do this."
"Mom, dad.... You do realize this is a high schooler we are talking about, right! I'm in university! That's sick! I can't marry someone that young!" You argued.
"Sweetheart, it's only a three year age gap. But that is a draw back Enji and I discussed. We would have to wait until Shoto graduates."
Tears started to blur your vision. You couldn't believe this was happening. You knew your parents enjoyed their status, but you never imagined they would go this far. It absolutely broke your heart.
"Well, what about Shoto. Is he even okay with this?" You asked.
"Shoto is aware of his duties."
"His duties." You repeated what your father said, with the same cold, unfeeling tone of voice.
You couldn't hear anymore. You grabbed your water and stomped upstairs. Both of your parents called out to you, but you just ignored them. You needed nothing more than to run back up to your room.
As soon as you got back to your sanctuary, you grabbed your phone. You called the only actual friend you had and told her everything. As you vented to Rika, you choked on your tears.
"Wow... that is really something." She said sympathetically.
"How could they? How could they just sell me off!?"
There was a pause over the phone. You called out to Rika, thinking she wasn't on the other line anymore. She answered you and confirmed she was still there. When asking about why she just stopped talking, she took a long breath.
"Listen (y/n), I think you should do it."
"What? Not you too, Rika!"
"Just hear me out. They want you to marry Shoto Todoroki right? I've heard of him. I saw him on TV during the UA sports festival. He's a really talented kid. He could probably provide you with a really good life. You being a nurse and him being a hero, you two would have it made. You wouldn't have to worry about anything, and neither would your family."
You were unsure if it was her words getting to you, or your anger was just dissipating. Perhaps it was both. You were really listening to her, and she did bring up a couple good points. Maybe this whole marriage wouldn't be the worst idea in the world.
You didn't appreciate her bringing up your family. Your mind immediately shifted to your parents. Those two had given you everything. All they asked of you was to focus on your studies and be a good student. They always took care of everything else.
You knew that your father couldn't run the business forever, and your mother's quirk was nothing special to keep the wealth alive. If you did this, they would probably be okay for the rest of their lives. It would almost foolish to not take the offer.
Once you hung up with Rika, you thought long and hard on the matter. The more you pondered, the more ideal it sounded. You took a deep breath once you made your decision, and headed downstairs to talk to your parents.
"I'll do it. I'll marry Shoto Todoroki."
————
Shoto wandered through the halls of Endeavor's estate with a heavy feeling in his chest. Aizawa had dismissed him from the dorms so he could return home.
Apparently his father had called UA himself and requested Shoto to be allowed to come home for a few hours to discuss something important.
The youngest Todoroki member walked into the dining hall. He knew that was where his father was waiting to meet him. Shoto paused before going inside. He took a moment to gather his thoughts. The dual quirk user took one last exhale before making his way inside.
"Shoto, sit my son." Enji commanded as he pointed to the open seat across from him.
Shoto did as he was told as sat down. Enji smiled proudly at his son. This caught Shoto off guard, considering the fact Enji hardly ever smiled.
"What is this about, old man?" Shoto asked, not even trying to hide the irritation in his voice
"Shoto, as you know, you are my masterpiece. I have designed you for greatness. I have no doubt that once you graduate UA, you will go far in life."
The young boy couldn't help but roll his eyes. To anyone else these would have been words of praise, but to Shoto it was just another reminder of the burdens placed on him since birth.
"This is exactly why I have called you here today. My son, as great as you are you need someone in your life who can help make you better. Someone to help give you an amazing life, and someone to help you produce splendid children. Son, I believe I have found the perfect wife for you. (Y/F/N, Y/L/N)
Shoto nearly laughed at the proposition . He couldn't even be shocked at what just came out of his father's mouth. This was Enji Todorki we were talking about after all.
" So, you're selling me off for a quirk marriage, huh? And if I refuse?"
Enji's smile faded off his face. He looked sternly at his son, the flames on his face growing wilder
" Shoto, this is not up for a debate. You will marry this woman. It is for our family's legacy. Unless you would rather it be Natsuo."
Shoto tensed up at Enji's last sentence. That was precisely why he hated his father so much. He knew exactly how he would respond to a statement like that. Enji also knew how Shoto felt about his siblings, and he would never put them through something like that.
" Has she agreed to this?" Shoto asked with a raised brow.
" Her family is speaking with her about it right now. But I trust it will be no issues. She is aware of her duties, just like you are."
Shoto angrily got up from his seat. He and his father glared each other. Enji's flames burned brightly, as if they were a symbol of his authority over the young hero.
"Fine, I'll agree to your ridiculous little quirk marriage. But just know I will never ever treat someone the way you treated Mom. Don't expect a bunch of grandkids out of me just to toss them to the side when they're not useful. You got that, old man."
Enji smiled widely at his son. It wasn't a comforting or pleased smile, but a smile knowing that he still had his son under his thumb.
" I knew you would respond with reason, Shoto. We will meet with the girl and her family this weekend to discuss details."
Shoto said nothing. Instead he just slammed the door shut behind him and walked away with a livid experience on his face. As he turned the corner, he felt a pair of eyes on him. Shoto turned around to see his sister looking at him. She looked as if she was about to cry.
"Shoto..." Fuyumi started with a crack in her voice. There was so much she wanted to say to her brother, but she couldn't figure out the words.
"Don't worry Fuyumi." Shoto said with a gentle smile. "I will be okay. I'd rather it be me rather than you or Natsuo."
The young hero walked in the direction of the front doors. He was returning to UA, as he could no longer take being in this place. Mr Aizawa was outside waiting for him. He debated if he should tell his friends about what just went down, or if he should keep it under wraps for the time being. He ended up going with the ladder.
It was a quiet ride home. Shoto Todoroki was still processing everything that went down today. In a few days he would be engaged to his bride to be.
Chapter 2: Meeting The Blue Flame Villain
Summary:
You go to a shady bar and meet Dabi
Chapter Text
The city felt like a whole new world at night. It was rare for you to be out this late. Normally you preferred to stay in at this hour, but staying in the house had been hell lately. Life was so stressful since your parents announced they would be selling you off. You had made up a little lie saying you were going to Rika's house to study.
You saw the brightly lit sign in the distance. BURBON STREET BAR was only a few more steps away. You had heard of this bar from acquaintances at school. Apparently it was in a rough area. It was visited by mostly villains, and they never carded anyone. You weren't planning to get intoxicated. You would only have two drinks max, then go on home.
Before entering the bar you pulled your hood over your head. The music was blaring and the lights were brighter than any star you had ever seen. There were people everywhere, and they didn't appear to be the most friendly of crowds. You made sure to keep to yourself and not walk into anyone.
You found an empty stool at the bar. Quickly you made your way over to it. The bartender looked over his shoulder once you took a seat. He walked over and took your order. You told him what you wanted, then he went about his work.
Your stomach churned as you took in your surroundings. The only reason you had the balls to enter a place like this was because of your quirk. That was the best weapon you could ever have, as long as anyone trying to mess with you kept their distance. Being around this type of clientele was still nerve wracking. Constantly thinking about your predicament at home didn't help either.
Shoto Todoroki. That was the name of the boy you were forcibly betrothed to. You had tried to get more information on him. He didn't appear to have any social media based on the lack of results when you typed in his name. The only close up you got of him was from the UA sports festival video on YouTube. The rumors you heard about him were true. His quirk was amazing, and he was really talented. He was quite the looker too. At least the guy you were being forced to marry was hot.
The sound of a glass hitting the table snapped you back into reality. The bar tender had your drink ready. You thanked him before taking a big swig.
In the corner of your eye you saw a figure moving to your right. You turned your head to see a man taking a seat next to you. Your heart felt as if it skipped a beat. You didn't even hear his footsteps. It was a brutal reminder that you weren't just at any bar. You had to pay better attention.
"Hey Dabi. Gettin' your usual?" The bartender asked.
"Yeah. Do two shots this time ,Yoichi. I need it."
"Coming right up."
You caught yourself staring at the man called Dabi. You knew gawking at people in a place like this wasn't the move, but you couldn't take your eyes off him. His appearance was something you'd never seem before. Littering half of his face and down his neck was leathery looking purple skin, at least you thought it was skin. Keeping the botched skin in place were rows of surgical staples. It looked as if they were stapled to his healthy skin so it wouldn't come apart. They marred his whole face, even underneath his eyes. It reminded you of Frankenstein.
Dabi must of felt your gaze on him, because he snapped his head in your direction. It was like you were paralyzed with fear. You still couldn't take your eyes off of him. Now that he was facing you, you had a perfect view of his face. Cold blue eyes burned a hole into your soul.
He glared at you before speaking. "Didn't your mother teach you it's rude to stare?"
"I'm sorry!" You finally snapped your head away from him. Quickly you averted your gaze to the glass in front of you.
You couldn't see it, but Dabi was smiling wickedly at you. Now that you caught his attention he was going to have his fun with you.
He scooted even closer. His shoulder was only a centimeter away from yours. Though you weren't looking at him, you just knew he was staring directly at you. You felt any confidence you had in protecting yourself crumble into dust.
"Haven't ever seen you here before." He said dryly.
"I- I've never been. It's my first time here."
Dabi eyed you up and down. You were a pretty little thing. Based on the clothes you were wearing, you had money too.
"You seemed ritzy. What is someone like you doing in a place like this?"
You tried your best to ignore him, but that little comment really angered you. Perhaps the alcohol was starting to get to you, because you were ready to fire back.
"What's that supposed to mean?" You shot back to Dabi. He snickered at you.
"No need to get so touchy, princess."
"Don't call me that!"
"Got your thong in a twist?" He teased.
At this point you were fuming. Your face had gotten beet red. Dabi could see your anger, and he was enjoying every second of it.
"Leave her alone, Dabi. The girl clearly has something on her mind and you're teasing " Yoichi said as he handed Dabi his drink.
"I'm just having some fun. She looks so cute lookin' all flustered like that."
You felt the blush creep up your neck. Dabi definitely noticed it too. He laughed at your plight before taking a sip of his drink.
"For real, what made someone like you come to a shithole like this? What's your name anyway?"Dabi asked in a more serious tone.
You clutched your drink tightly. He definitely seemed like the type of person you should avoid. All the signs were telling you to stay far away, but you couldn't. You needed someone to talk to about your situation. Someone who might even listen.
"I'm (Y/N). I have a lot on my mind right now. There are things going on at home." You started. Dabi dropped any smirks or snickers and was not looking at you with a serious expression.
"Go on." He said as he waved his hand. You noticed the bar tender had leaned against the bar to listen to you.
"I'm getting married soon. My parents are selling me off to a quirk marriage." You admitted.
Dabi's eyes widened at your confession. It was almost as if you said something that hit close to home. Yoichi raised a brow at you.
"A quirk marriage? I thought that shit was outlawed a while ago."
"Not necessarily," Dabi answered before you had the chance to, "People who have money and power still practice it. They're awful. I've seen one first hand."
Hearing this surprised you. "Dabi, have you been apart of a quirk marriage?"
He bit his lip at your question. Dabi was quick to come up with an answer. "Not me, but someone close to me was. It was hell. The husband was an egotistical asshole. Treated his wife and kids like shit."
Your face fell after hearing that. It wasn't the kind of thing you need to hear at that moment. Dabi looked at your expression and immediately regretted his words.
"But hey, who knows. Maybe you'll get a good one. Who is the lucky guy that gets to make you his?"
You shifted nervously in your seat. All of your instincts were telling you not to give out Shoto's name. God only knew who was listening. You didn't want to do anything to jeopardize his safety.
"I'd rather not say."
Dabi laughed at you. "No worries princess. I won't pry."
Dabi ordered you two more drinks. The alcohol was finally starting to affect you. You couldn't take your eyes off Dabi as he chugged his whiskey. Despite the grotesque looking skin grafts, he was actually quite attractive. He had that bad boy vibe to him and that 1000 yard stare.
After drinking three sex on the beaches, it was safe to say you were pretty drunk. Dabi was able to tell immediately you were no longer sober. He also noticed a handful of shady men staring you down like a piece of meat. It was time to get you out of here. Dabi paid Yoichi for both of your drinks before heading out.
You were stumbling around. Dabi had to hold your hand to make sure you didn't fall over. All the alcohol in your system was causing you to be emotional. Thinking about the whole quirk marriage made you tearful. So much so you actually leaned into Dabi's chest and cried.
"I don't want to get married, Dabi! I'm not ready for that!" You sobbed.
Poor Dabi just stood there. In his twenty- four years of life he never had anyone cry into him like this. He awkwardly held his hands to his sides as you sobbed. Had it been anyone else, he would have thrown them to the floor.
You cried on his chest for a good five minutes. Perhaps a good ugly crying session was all you needed. It was as if you had sobered up a little bit. Now you felt like a complete fool.
"I'm so sorry for trauma dumping! I just really needed someone to talk to."
Dabi smiled softly at you. He hadn't felt this peaceful since he was a child. There was something about you he really liked. He felt a little empathy for you given your situation.
"It's all good doll. Let's get you home before you fall over."
You looked down to see your hand still clasped in his. Both of you blushed awkwardly when you realized you were still holding hands. You pulled your hands away and stuffed them in your pockets. For a while you stayed quiet in an attempt to not make the situation any more awkward.
"Don't come there again without me, ok doll?" Dabi said suddenly.
"And why is that?
"Really bad people go there. You could get killed. Where do you get off thinking you're invisible?" He asked, as if he was scolding you.
"I don't think I'm invisible, Dabi. But I'm not completely helpless either. I can get by pretty good with my quirk."
"Oh yeah? And what would that be?" He challenged.
You were hesitant to answer. Nothing good ever came from telling people about your quirk. Once people heard what it was, they usually avoided you after.
"It's called blood manipulation. I can control a person's movements with their blood."
Dabi stopped walking and just stared at you. You flinched at his gaze. That was the same reaction everyone always gave you.
"Show me." He said eagerly.
"What?"
"Show me your quirk. How it works."
You couldn't believe your ears. No one had ever asked you to show them how your power worked. Usually people were quickly walking away from you at this point.
"Can you step back a bit? It only works at a distance."
Dabi took about five steps back. Carefully you raised your hand in the air. The patch work villain looked in disbelief as his arm started to rise up in the air. He couldn't believe his eyes.
You lowered your hand and soon after Dabi's extremity went back down. He looked down at his own hand, still trying to process what he just saw. As he did so, you hung your head down anticipating for him to run away.
"Wow. That's a fucked up power. Pretty awesome though. It's kind of hot. "
"Huh? You mean you don't think it's freaky?"
"Oh it's definitely freaky, but it's cool as fuck. You're like a puppet master."
You had no idea what to say. Dabi was the only person other than Rika to accept you so easily. It almost made you tear up with joy.
"Wow.... I don't get that a lot. You're the only person besides my best friend who didn't immediately want to run away. I get a lot of negativity because of my quirk."
"I think it's cool as fuck."
You and Dabi continued to walk back to your house. As you walked, the two of you got to talking. He is definitely rough around the edges, but he seems like someone you would really like to get to hang out with.
It was nearly eleven at night when you arrived back home. Before going inside, you and Dabi exchanged numbers. A part of you was sad. You were having so much fun with him, and weren't ready for it to end.
"How about we go back to the bar? Maybe tomorrow night? I can pick you up."
"Yeah, that sounds fun!"
You gave one last goodbye before going inside. Your parents were fast asleep, so you had to tip toe all the way to your room. It was finally time to get some sleep. After all, tomorrow morning you would be meeting Shoto.
Before climbing into bed you texted Rika every last detail about what happened tonight. The text must have been about three paragraphs long. She read your message rather quickly and her response to you made your blood run cold.
Rika: You know that guy is a dangerous villain, right!!!!????
Chapter 3: Fiancé By Day, Party Animal At Night
Summary:
You meet Shoto for the first time, then you and Dabi go out afterwards.
Chapter Text
"It is truly an honor to have you in our home."
Your parents had rolled out the red carpet for Endeavor and his son. Never before had you seem them so excited. They definitely had reason to be. Sitting before them was the Number One Hero and his son, Shoto. The boy you would be marrying within the next two years.
"Thank you for having us. This is my youngest child, Shoto, my masterpiece." Endeavor said proudly as he placed his arm above Shoto's head.
You didn't enjoy Endeavor referring to his son as 'a masterpiece.' It was almost like he was talking about an object rather than his own child. You took a good look at Shoto as Endeavor raved about him. The young man in front of you looked rather depressed. He kept his head down as his father spoke. It made you feel sad.
"This is our daughter, (y/n). She's in university studying to be a nurse." Your father told your guests.
"Nice to meet you." You said to the father and son.
"It's a pleasure."
Shoto picked his head up to look at you. He offered a gentle smile and a nod. Seeing him smile made you feel slightly more at ease. You smiled back at him.
"Pardon me if it's a sensitive question, but is there a Mrs. Todoroki that will be joining us?" Your father asked.
Shoto's whole mood shifted at the mention of his mother. His face fell and he furrowed his brows before turning to glare at his father. You nervously sat and watched the odd interaction.
"Yes, but our situation is complex. I shall update my wife later on." Endeavor explained.
"Enji, how about we all go into the next room to discuss further details? It gives a chance for these two to get to know each other."
"I agree."
Your parents and Endeavor left the room, leaving you and Shoto completely alone. Both of you had your eyes glued to the floor. Your heart was threatening to beat out of your chest from how nervous you were.
"So.... Are you ok with this arrangement?" Shoto asked in an attempt to break the ice.
"I mean I guess. I don't think either of us have much of a choice, right?" Shoto nodded at your statement.
"I'm sorry about this." He said sympathetically.
"Don't be. It's not your fault. I just feel bad. You're so young. We're gonna have to serve apple juice at our wedding for you." You joked.
Shoto giggled at your witty remark. As your parents talked the two of you got to know each other a little bit more. He told you briefly about his courses at UA, and you discussed your major in university.
"A nurse? That's cool. I think my brother goes to that same school if I'm not mistaken. He's studying to be a doctor. If I get shot by villains or something, at least I'll have you two to save me."
You two continued to laugh and joke together. The more you talked, the more comfortable you became with Shoto. He didn't seem like a bad guy at all. You two eventually got around to talking about your quirks. The moment of truth came after you explained your quirk to Shoto.
"Oh, that's an interesting power. I've never heard of that before. That would be really useful in the hero field. Have you ever thought about becoming a hero?"
You were shocked at the question. No one has ever asked about you becoming a hero. In your younger years you considered it, but your parents gently told you that it probably wouldn't be a good path for you.
"I don't think that field is for me."
"That's a shame. You'd probably be good at it."
You couldn't help but shuffle in your seat uncomfortably. Shoto was definitely a lot nicer than you thought he'd be. You couldn't put your finger on it, but there was something about him that reminded you of Dabi. Maybe that's why you were starting to feel some type of way around Shoto.
Your parents came back to the room. They gave you two the run down of everything they talked about. You and Shoto would be married as soon as he graduated from UA. Until then there was a handful of events they had arranged for you two. They had also informed you that the arrangement was to be kept under wraps until closer to the date. It could be dangerous if the wrong people knew of your wedding.
Before Shoto and Endeavor left, you two exchanged numbers. Shoto waved one last goodbye before Endeavor pushed him along. You were pleased with the outcome of the meeting. This marriage was starting to sound like it wouldn't be so bad.
After they left you ran up to your room to get ready. Tonight you and Dabi were going to hangout at the bar again. You had butterflies in your stomach as you got dressed for a few reasons. You couldn't get Rika's text out of your head
You know that guy is a dangerous villain, right!
You weren't just going to take her word for it. Tonight you would ask Dabi yourself about his daily activities. Then you would have your answer.
As you finished dressing, your phone vibrated in your pocket. It was a text message.
Dabi: I parked a block away. Ready whenever you are
Quickly you rushed downstairs. You lied to your parents and told them you were going out with Rika. They wished you a fun time before you walked to wherever Dabi was.
You found him leaning against a street light. There was a black car parked a few feet away from where he was standing. You didn't remember him having a car yesterday.
"Hey doll." He greeted
"Hi. I didn't know you had a car."
"A friend let me borrow it. Hop in and I'll take you to that bar."
You got in the passenger seat. Dabi fired the engine up and drove off. His driving was erratic. Several different times he almost hit other cars or stationary objects. The only lessons he had were from Spinner earlier in the day, so it's not like he had much practice.
Half way to the bar he got stopped by a red light. As the car was stopped you debated whether you should ask him or not. Dabi was able to tell something was on your mind.
"Are you alright princess? Ya look like something's on your mind?"
You took a deep breath before turning to look at him. It was now or never.
"Dabi, are you a villain?"
Point blank. No beating around the bush. You just asked.
A bead of sweat formed on his forehead. Dabi sighed deeply as he nervously tapped his fingers on the steering wheel.
The light turned green. Dabi started the car back up without answering you. You maintained eye contact with him until you got an answer. He continued to drive for a few minutes until he found a large parking lot. He pulled the car into the lot and put it in park. You nervously watched him as he turned to you.
"Yea, that's right doll. I'm a villain all right. I'm a member of the league of villains."
Your heart dropped at his confession. You weren't in the loop on the hero news, but you had heard of the league before. All you knew was that they were bad news.
"Oh....."
He looked at you with caution. You weren't really sure how to proceed with that information.
"I understand if you don't want to associate with me anymore. I'll take you home."
"No, wait! I never said I wanted you to take me home."
Dabi's eyes glazed over at you. Even you were surprised with yourself. Every instinct in your being was telling you to run away. This whole thing was a bad idea. You would be getting yourself involved with a villain after all. Despite all that, you didn't want to just stop seeing Dabi. Maybe there was a good side to him that would outshine the villain part.
"I like you,Dabi. I want to hang out with you."
His face grew red at your statement. You couldn't help the blush at him as he fidgeted with his shirt.
"You're a strange one, doll. You know you're playing with fire right?"
"I know."
Dabi felt his heart skip a beat. The feeling was so foreign to him. He didn't like it. It was a fuzzy and warm feeling he got from you.
You gasped when you felt his hot hand rub your shoulder. He offered a sympathetic smile as he massaged you.
"Doll, you're a good person; but you have zero survival instincts."
"What?"
"Just a word of advice next time; don't get into a car alone at nighttime with someone and ask if they're a villain. Might not go so well."
You felt like a fool as Dabi talked to you as if you were a child. Looking back what you did was pretty foolish. Another reason why he was good to have around.
"Oh..."
"It's okay doll. Let's go have some fun."
You and Dabi walked into the bar a little after seven. It was like a whole different building. The music was much louder and people were more lively. It seemed more like a nightclub than a regular bar.
"Is this the same place?" You asked loudly.
"Yeah. It's dance night or some shit like that.
They have different themes on the weekends. "
Dabi grabbed your hand and guided you through the crowd. There were so many people and he didn't want you getting lost.
Yoichi was leaning against the wall waiting for customers. Once he saw you and Dabi approaching he walker closer to the counter. You sat down before ordering.
"You two again, huh? Dabi, is this your new girlfriend?" Yoichi asked teasingly.
"Unfortunately no. I'm just taking princess out before she gets locked away." He explained as he gave you a flirtatious look.
"What are you having?"
"Can I get two shots?" Both Dabi and Yoichi looked at you.
"Two? Easy there princess. Can't have you blacking out on me."
"I need it. I gotta get my nerves out. I met my fiancé earlier today."
You immediately regretted saying that out loud. Dabi nearly flinched when you mentioned your fiancé. The pain was evident in his eyes. Yoichi noticed it too. He walked away to make your drinks.
Yoichi came back with multiple shots. You and Dabi each took two right off the bat. With you not being much of a drinker, you could almost immediately start to feel the alcohol.
"So, how's that man of yours?" Dabi asked after inhaling his second shot.
"Um... he seems cool. His dad is a little weird though. Kind of treats him as a show pony rather than a kid!" You yelled louder than what you meant to.
"A kid? Doll, how old is your fiance?"
"Sixteen."
Dabi raised a brow at you. It was like he was looking at you with some kind of suspicion. That or he was judging you (rightfully so) for being engaged to a teenager. You knew that you were probably already saying too much. The alcohol was giving you a loose tongue.
"Don't give me that look! I didn't arrange this! And I'm only nineteen!" You said as you slapped Dabi's arm playfully.
"Hey I'm not judging you for being a cougar."
"What asshole sells off their sixteen year old for a quirk marriage?" Yoichi asked as he polished the drink wear.
"I got a few people in mind." Dabi noted before ordering another drink.
The two of you took a few more shots. You were completely wasted at this point. Dabi was used to this level of alcohol, so it wasn't affecting him as much. After taking your fifth shot of the night, you grabbed Dabi by his wrist and dragged him onto the dance floor.
"So how did you get all those scars?" You asked as you swayed around.
"I was in a bad accident when I was a kid. I got burned alive." He explained. Dabi couldn't help but be a little taken aback by the question.
"Woah, that's fucking awful. They make you look really fucking hot though." You commend with slurred words.
Dabi's face got hot at your comment. He didn't even have time to process it. You had collapsed face first into his chest with your arms wrapped around his waist.
"I think it's time to take you home. You're drunk."
"Nah-uh."
As you continued to hang on him, Dabi pulled out his phone. The person he was calling answered after a few rings.
"Hey Twice. So the girl I went out with is really fucked up. Think I could take her to your place? I can't take her home like this."
"Sure thing.... No way!" He answered.
"Is that a yes?"
"Sure. I'll leave the door unlocked. No fucking on my couch." Twice said in a very serious tone.
Dabi wrapped your arm around his neck and walked you to the car. The second your butt hit the seat, you fell asleep. Carefully he put your seatbelt on and drove off to Twice's apartment.
The door was unlocked just like he said it would be. Dabi opened the door and carried you inside. He placed you on the couch then put a blanket over you. You let out a long yawn before curling yourself in a ball.
"Good grief, princess." He said to your sleeping form.
Dabi removed his jacked and placed it on the floor to use as a makeshift pillow. Like a dog he laid on the floor just a few feet away from you. As you slept he took a real good look at you. He still had that funny feeling about you, and it was making him sick. He was starting to worry that he might be falling in love with you.

Chapter Text
Shoto's mind was in the clouds. Throughout the whole day he couldn't focus on his work study with Midoriya and Bakugo. All he could think about was you and the lunch date with you that was coming up.
"I think that's enough for today. Shoto, I expect you to perform better tomorrow." Endeavor said sternly before running off to attend to another call.
"What was your deal, icyhot? You sucked today!" Bakugo yelled with his fists clenched.
"Kaachan!"
Shoto ignored his insult. Bakugo was right, though. His performance was pretty piss poor. He couldn't help it though. All he could think about was you.
"Bakugo, Midoriya, could you two help me with something?"
"What is it, Todoroki?" Izuku asked.
"I'm going on a date in a few days. I wanted to get her something nice as a gift. I was wondering if you could help me?"
"Who the hell would go on a date with you?"
"Kaachan!"
Shoto looked at his friends. His expression had shifted to a look of worry. He had not told anyone about the whole quirk marriage yet. Over time he had decided to tell his two closest friends. Shoto couldn't help but worry. He wasn't sure how they would react.
"My fiancée. I'm getting married after we graduate." Shoto told them casually.
Izuku and Bakugo looked at each other then back at
Shoto with wild eyes. Izuku seemed to be more concerned, while Bakugo just looked angry.
"Fiancée? Um, Todoroki. I think we're missing some information here." Izuku pointed out with a shaky voice.
Shoto nervously scratched the back of his neck before proceeding. "It's a quirk marriage. My father is selling me off to a family with a daughter who has a strong quirk. We're set to get married after graduation."
"Are you fucking serious, icyhot!? What the hell happened to not wanting to be like your dad and creating your own path!? Sure seems like the opposite to me!" Bakugo yelled. Shoto couldn't help but flinch at his words.
"Kaachan, I think we should be a little more sensitive on the matter," Izuku said before turning back to Shoto. "Todoroki, how do you feel about this?"
"I was upset about it at first. I met her yesterday, and she actually seems really nice. We've going on a date in a few days to get to know each other better."
"That doesn't explain why you're being forced to marry her!"
"I don't really mind. Look, if it wasn't me than my father may make my brother or sister go through with a quirk marriage in the future. I'd rather it be me than them."
"Todoroki...." Izuku said in a sympathetic tone. The green haired teen couldn't help but feel bad for what his friend was going through.
"I'm really not supposed to tell anyone about this. I told you two since you're my close friends. Please keep it between us."
"We are NOT friends!" Bakugo yelled.
"You have nothing to worry about. We won't say anything, right Kaachan?"
"Yeah whatever. What do I care!"
"Thanks you guys."
"So, what is it you needed help with again?"
"I want to get her something nice for our date. I don't know what though, maybe chocolate or something?"
Bakugo scoffed at Shoto's brainstorming. The angry blonde put on a front that he didn't care, but hearing the news did bother him a little bit.
"Isn't this whole thing arranged? What do you even need to buy that shit for?"
"Just because it's an arranged marriage doesn't mean I shouldn't put any effort into it, Bakugo."
"I think you should keep it simple and buy her a nice bouquet of roses or something like that. Girls seem to like flowers."
"Flowers, okay. Do you think that would be something you would do for Ochako?" Shoto asked.
Izuku face immediately turned a dark shade of read. He flung his arms in the air and waved them around dramatically.
"What?! No! I mean I just figured since girls seem to like flowers and your fiancée is a girl she might like some flowers it has nothing to do with me or Ochako I was just putting an idea out there!" The shy teen rambled nervously.
Shoto turned his head to Bakugo to see if he would agree on the flower idea. Bakugo immediately scowled at the dual colored teen and turned his head to the side. He crossed his arms over his chest before huffing.
"Don't look at me, icyhot. I don't have any experience with girls. I don't know what they like."
"Okay then. I think I'll just get the flowers. Thank you, you two. I really appreciate it.
"No worries! Please tell us if you need anything."
The three teens went their separate ways. As Shoto walked back to Endeavor's agency, he googled different romantic ideas for dates. He took note of a couple sweet things he saw online. Maybe during your date he would read them off to you.
———-
Your eyes slowly fluttered open. Also immediately you were met with a bright beam of sunlight. Normally this would be a pleasant thing to wake up to. Today it was horrible. Your head wad pounding like a drum, and the light was only exacerbating it.
"Is the princess finally awake?" You heard a familiar voice call out.
You slowly picked your body up from the couch. Even the smallest movement made you feel sick. Once you had adjusted yourself you rubbed your eyes in an attempt to wake up.
Sitting across from you on the floor was Dabi. He looked up at you and smirked at your hungover state. You looked awful. Your skin was pale as a ghost, your hair was a mess, and there were bags under your eyes. Despite all of that, to Dabi you still looked beautiful.
The first thing you noticed about Dabi was that he was shirtless. Your face got hot as you laid your eyes on his unclothed torso. Those stapled up patches weren't just on his face and chest. They were all around his abdomen and back as well. Your eyes traced them as if they were following a map. You also couldn't help but notice his pants were a little too low on his hips.
"Enjoying the view, doll?" He asked teasingly.
You turned your head away. Dabi walked over and took a seat next to you on the couch. He rested his arm behind your back as he leaned into his seat.
The gravity of the situation was starting to catch up with you. You did get pretty drunk last night, and now Dabi is hanging around with no shirt and his pants barely hanging on.
"Dabi, did- did we have sex last night?"
He raised a brow to you. He looked almost offended at your question. "No, we didn't. I might be a villain, but I wouldn't take advantage of you like that."
"Right... I'm sorry for asking." You shrunk into your seat after hearing his answer.
"I mean I wouldn't complain if you'd be open to it," he said with a smirk.
You hated yourself for briefly thinking about it. There was a tiny part of you that wouldn't mind getting your cherry popped right now by him. You couldn't though as you already had someone in your life.
"Maybe if I wasn't already betrothed. I can't do that, Dabi."
The flame villain was actually surprised to hear that. He was just pulling your leg. It did give him hope though that maybe one day it would happen.
"I understand doll. We should probably get you home."
Dabi walked you to the car. You climbed in the passenger seat and he drove off. Neither of your parents were home, so there shouldn’t be any issues when you returned. You doubted if they even noticed you were gone.
After Dabi dropped you off you stumbled up to your room. You were pretty sure you were still a little buzzed from last night. There wasn't a chance in hell you were going to school today. Instead you curled up in your bed and went back to sleep.
The patchwork villain drove to the league's new hideout. He definitely had to make an appearance today. Ever since he met you, he had been blowing off his villainous duties. Shigaraki was starting to get pissed.
Dabi walked in to see all the other members hanging around on their phones. Shigaraki looked to be deeply invested in something. The leader briefly looked up at Dabi then back to his mobile device. Dabi took a seat on a random piece of furniture and pulled out his phone. He sent you a quick text.
Dabi: hey princess, checking in. Not too hung over are ya?
Not even a full minute after sending the text his phone vibrated in his hand. Dabi saw a notification from you light up his screen.
(y/n): ill be ok. Just gonna sleep most of the day. Thank you again for last night i had so much fun. Let's hang out again soon :)
Dabi smiled at the screen before typing something else to you. All while this was happening, Himiko Toga was sitting across the room watching. Almost immediately she noticed Dabi was a lot more invested in his phone than usual, and he was smiling at it a lot too.
The teenager smiled gleefully as she tip toed over to where Dabi was sitting. He was so invested in his conversation with you, he didn't even notice Toga emerge from behind him.
She looked over his shoulder and had a perfect view of the messages. The first thing she noticed was the contact name- (y/n). That was definitely a girl's name. Dabi was texting a girl!
Toga took a long deep breath before yelling out, “Dabi! Is that a girl you’re talking to!”
Everyone in the room snapped their heads to look at Dabi. The poor flame villain nearly jumped out of his skin at Toga’s announcement.
“It’s none of your business! Don’t snoop through my shit!” Dabi yelled.
“Yoink!”
Toga snatched the phone out of Dabi’s hands and ran to the other side of the room. The fire user was absolutely furious with his colleague.
“Hey crazy give that back before I burn you!” He yelled as blue flames started to form around his fists.
Toga completely ignored his threat. “Ooooohhhhhh, you two talk a lot! Looks like we went out last night!”
“Is that the same drunk girl you brought to my apartment last night?” Twice asked.
“Not now, Twice!”
“You brought her home?! Did you guys do it?”
Any healthy skin Dabi had left turned a bright shade of red. “No we didn’t! We’re just friends!”
Dabi seized his phone back from Toga. The older man shot her a nasty glare before putting his phone back in his pocket. Toga giggled at her teammate’s plight.
“Yeah, right. There’s no need to be embarrassed, Dabi. It’s totally normal.”
“Oh, really? Tell me, crazy. What is so normal?”
“I can tell by the look in your eyes. You’re in love.”
Dabi went completely mute at Toga. His silence echoed throughout that whole room. Everyone was looking at him. Some were shocked that Dabi of all people was romantically involved with someone, others couldn’t care less. That was the one thing Dabi hated about Toga- she always hit the nail on the head.
Shigaraki finally put his phone away. He looked at Dabi with an unimpressed expression. The blue haired boy stood up from his seat before speaking.
“I couldn’t care less what you do in your free time. Just don’t fall short on your duties here. I have a job for you that might take some time, so make sure your head is in the game.”
“Yeah, whatever Shiggy.”
Dabi internally groaned. He didn’t want to go on a long mission. That meant he wouldn’t get to see you for a while. As soon as he heard that, he texted you to set up another ‘date’. Once again you replied almost immediately.
(Y/N): Im going out with my fiancée Friday after class. I could do Saturday though. Is 5 cool?
Dabi: yea, that’s cool
Who knows, maybe he would get lucky this time.
Chapter 5: Late Nights and Long Conversations
Summary:
A day after your lunch date with Shoto, you go to the beach with Dabi. Things get heated rather quickly.
Notes:
So no one comes at me, I got the poem from goodpoems.com or some shit like that
Chapter Text
Shoto sat nervously in his seat waiting for you to arrive. Today was your lunch date. Any minute now you will be walking up to the table. Quickly he made sure he had everything ready: flowers, the note he wrote for you and cologne to smell nice.
When he saw you, it felt like the world had came to a halt. Even from a distance you looked stunning. An elegant, tight fitting gray dress wrapped around your small frame. Your hair was wavy and silk with small curls complementing the ends. He knew from your first meeting you were beautiful, but today you were glowing.
You walked up to the table and set your purse down. Shoto caught himself staring at you. You smiled softly at him before taking a seat. After sitting you took a moment to put your belongings in your purse. When you finished, you looked up to see Shoto still staring.
"Is there something on my face?" You asked as you touched your skin.
"No! Sorry, I just- you look really nice."
"Awww, thank you. You look good, too."
Shoto leaned over and grabbed the bouquet of flowers from the empty seat next to him. He got up and showed them to you.
"These are for you."
"Oh my God, Shoto. You didn't have to. They're beautiful!"
You tenderly took the flowers from him and placed them on the table. Immediately after Shoto sat back down, he fished around in his pocket for something. He pulled out a folded piece of paper and unwrapped it. You watched him with curiosity as he held it in front of his face.
Shoto cleared his throat before staring to read. "In the realms of beauty she shines like a star. Her radiance surpassing near and far. Her eyes like pools of celestial light, draws hearts closer, igniting love's might."
Your eyes widen as Shoto read what sounded like a poem to you. After he read it, he lowered the paper from his face and looked at you. The look on his face was a serious one.
You were unsure why, but you began to giggle. There was just something to cute about the way he read it so matter of fact. Soon your giggle escalated into full blown laughter. Shoto just watched you nervously. He was beginning to internally panic at your reaction. Was it silly what he did? Why were you laughing?
Once you composed yourself you opened your eyes to look at Shoto. He did not find it very humorous. In fact, the poor child look mortified. You felt ashamed of yourself for laughing and making him feel bad.
"I'm sorry Shoto. I'm not laughing because I'm making fun of you. I just think it's really cute you took the time to write and read that for me."
He perked up after hearing that. "So you liked it?"
"Yes. Very much."
You looked into each other's eyes. As you studied Shoto you couldn't help but get a sensation of butterflies in your stomach.
"Shoto, do you think this marriage could work? Do you think it's possible for us to fall in love?"
The question caught him off guard. It made him think for a moment. He seemed pretty confident that he could truly fall for you.
"Maybe. You seem pretty easy to fall in love with."
The feeling in your gut intensified. In that moment it felt like everything around you faded away. The only people in the world were you and Shoto, and it was pure bliss.
You were brought back down to Earth when the waitress came to take your orders. You ordered a simple salad while Shoto ordered some soba. The waitress took down your choice and walked back to the kitchen.
"You like soba?"
"Yes, very much. It's a safe food for me." You couldn't help but cock your head to the side after hearing that.
"Safe food?"
"Yes. When my father was training me, he kept a strict eye on my diet. Soba was the only foods out of what I was allowed to eat I enjoyed."
That didn't sit right with you. You pondered on if you should ask more questions, or just leave it. In the end you went with the ladder.
Your food came and both of you got to eating. Shoto's mood seemed to shift. All of a sudden he seemed depressed. You wondered if it had to do with your conversation from moments ago.
"Is everything okay, Shoto?" You asked in between bites. He only nodded at you.
Both of you finished your meals fairly quick. Shoto still seemed like something was bothering him. He must have felt your eyes on him, because he looked up at you. Mismatched colored eyes stared deep into your soul.
"So... how many kids do you think you want to have?" You asked in an attempt to break the ice.
"I haven't thought about it. Two maybe?"
"That's a good number."
"But I don't want any designer babies. I want to have kids because I want to be a father, not to raise them as pawns."
"I beg your pardon?"
The more Shoto talked, the more concerned you became. You didn't like how he was talking now. All of your alarm bells were ringing, and you had to get to the bottom of it.
"Listen (y/n), even though this is a quirk marriage I promise to try my best. I don't want to make the same mistakes my parents made. I want us to be happy."
Shoto reached out for your hand. With no hesitation you wrapped your fingers around his. Gently he squeezed your hand.
"Shoto, is there something you need to say? I wouldn't mind listening." You said sympathetically.
"To hell with it. We're getting married soon. I might as well tell you all this soon rather than later."
Shoto completed unpacked everything to you. He told you about everything. From being burned by his own mother, to the deceased eldest sibling- he didn't hold anything back.
Your jaw slowly dropped open as he talked. You couldn't believe what you were hearing. It was some of the most gut wrenching stories you'd ever heard in your life.
"Shoto, I don't know what to say."
"You don't have to say anything. I just figured you should know what you're getting into with my family. "
There were so many things you wanted to ask. How wad Endeavor not in jail? Why was his mom locked away for ten years? Why was no one in therapy?
So, you asked all your questions; and Shoto answered every single one. You two must have been at that table for about three hours just talking and trauma dumping each other. Needless to say you got to know each other very well.
You paid the bill and headed home. Shoto and you took the train back to your house together. You couldn't help but feel a little sad your date was coming to an end. Going out with Shoto was a lot of fun. The two of you had more in common than you thought.
It was a little past nine when you finally got home. Shoto walked you to your front door. You awkwardly held your hands out to him, signaling for a hug. Shoto wrapped his arms tightly around your waist.
Your heart was pounding furiously at the contact. The only other person you had been this close to was Dabi. Your heart was desperate for more.
Shoto slowly pulled away. You looked into each other's eyes. The want was just as evident in his eyes as it was in yours. You two leaned into each other, as if an imaginary force was pushing you. Your lips collided into each other, closing any distance between you.
You were a nervous wreck. This was your first kiss, so you were sure you weren't any good at it. Shoto felt as if he was pressing too hard onto your lips. You just went with the flow and wrapped your arms around his neck.
Momentarily you pulled away to catch your breath. Shoto pressed his mouth against yours once more. You moaned into the kiss when you felt his hands on your hips.
After an intense five minute make out session, the two of you simultaneously pulled away from one another. A thin coat of saliva laid on your chin. You discreetly wiped it with your sleeve when Shoto wasn't looking.
"That was nice." Shoto pointed out awkwardly.
"Yeah..."
You couldn't help the cheesy smile that stretched from ear to ear. A part of you hoped it would go further, but you knew that wouldn't be wise. You two left it at one last hug before he waved goodbye.
———
Dabi wasn't as talkative or open as Shoto was. He always seemed kind of guarded about certain things. As you sat next to him on the pier, you watched him closely.
He seemed like something was off, like something had left a bad taste in his mouth. You couldn't pin point what it was.
"Are you okay, Dabi?" You asked.
"Yeah. I'm good,doll."
You accepted his answer even though you knew he was lying. Your attention had shifted to the ocean in front of you. Hearing the waves crashing into each other and the seagulls above was calming. It helped get your mind off of everything wrong with your life. Maybe you would ask Shoto to take you to the beach for your next date.
That's when you clocked it. Shoto- that's why Dabi was upset. Well, maybe not at Shoto explicitly since you still had yet to drop his name; but he was upset at the fact you were with your fiancée yesterday.
"Dabi, do you think you'll ever get married and have a family?" The question came out before you had the chance to catch yourself.
He looked at you with very little emotion. "Where's this coming from?"
"Just curious."
"Probably not. I'm not the marrying type. As far as a family, I don't think it's even physically possible for me to have kids. Even if I could I don't think I'd want them anyway."
"Why not?"
"Aren't we full of questions tonight?" He teased jokingly, "I think I'd fuck them up unintentionally. After what I saw as a kid, I don't think I have the mental capacity to have kids."
"I see."
"Since you're asking all these questions, I got one for you. Do you think you'll be happy in your little quirk marriage?"
The question didn't surprise you. In fact, you were expecting him to ask that. "Honestly, probably . My fiancée is great. It's his family I'm worried about.
His dad isn't a good person. He kind of treated him as a tool more than as a son. It makes me worried when we have kids."
"Damn, sounds like a real asshole. There always has to be a shitty in- law, right?"
For a split second a look of fury filled Dabi's eyes. It vanished just as quick as it had appeared. You gasped when you saw it. Yesterday you noticed that same exact look in Shoto's eyes when he was talking about his father.
That was it. That was why Shoto reminded you so much of Dabi- it was the eyes.
"You remind me a lot of my fiancée. He has the same eyes as you."
Dabi felt sick at hearing that. You definitely noticed him flinch at your observation. Could it be that.....?
No, he refused to believe that.
"Interesting, that means you get to see me all the time." He joked.
You were unsure how to feel right now. Whenever you were around either Dabi or Shoto you had the same exact feeling. It left you feeling confused and conflicted. This whole situation-ship with Dabi was wrong, but you just couldn't stay away.
You felt hot fingers find themselves underneath your chin. Gently Dabi lifted your head up so you'd look at home. Your heart pounded in your ears as you gazed into his intense blue eyes.
Dabi leaned into you. You could have moved, told him to stop, anything really- but you didn't. There was no point in lying to yourself. You wanted this more than anything.
His lips met yours, closing any distance between you. It wasn't soft and experimental like it was with Shoto. The kiss was needy and rough. Dabi cupped your cheek and pulled you even closer. You wrapped your arms around the back of his neck and pulled his body on top of yours.
The kiss got heated rather quickly. Dabi glided his tongue inside your mouth and explored every inch of you. Any feeling of uncertainty completely melted away. The feeling of something stiff poking your pelvis brought you back down to Earth. You pulled away from Dabi. The sudden retraction left him confused.
"Are you alright, doll?"
"I- I can't do this."
"Do what?"
"You know what, Dabi. I want you so bad, I really do; but I can't sleep with you. It wouldn't be fair to my fiancée.
Dabi rolled his eyes to side as if he was thinking about something. An idea popped into his head, one he was sure you would agree too.
He began a soft trail of kisses down your neck as he spoke, "you know, we don't have to have sex. I have a mouth and fingers you know."
You thought about it for a moment. It was still wrong, but it's not like you'd be going all the way with him. You would still be saving yourself for Shoto.
You gave Dabi a nod of approval to proceed. He removed himself from your body so you two could find somewhere more secluded. Once you found the spot, Dabi laid next to you and planted rough kisses down your neck.
"I'm gonna make you feel so good." He whispered as he glided his hand down your panties.
Chapter 6: Day At The Beach

You and Shoto’s date has a happy ending

Chapter Text
The mall was jam packed on this particular day. It was the beginning of Summer, and everyone was out buying new clothes for the season. You were one of these shoppers. You and Shoto were going to the beach this weekend, and you were in need of a new bikini.
Accompanying you was Rika. She had also wanted to pick up some new clothes. It gave a chance for the two of you to hang out and talk. Before you even left for the mall, Rika had said there was something she wanted to talk to you about. You had a pretty good idea what it was about.
Several hours of shopping had gone by. You and Rika had purchased some food from the food court. Half way in between your lunch break, she dropped her food and looked intently at you.
"Are you still seeing him?"
You nearly chocked on your soba noodles. It appeared that your hypothesis was correct. Rika wanted to talk to you about Dabi, and how much of a horrible idea seeing him was.
"Yes," you answered honestly. There was no point in lying.
Rika nodded as she looked down at her food. You knew that was a nod of disapproval. She had reason to be upset.
"You probably don't need me to tell you this is a horrible idea, right?"
"I know it's not the best decision I've ever made."
"So where's your little side piece now?"
"He's away on business." Rika glared at you.
"Yeah, probably doing some shady shit, committing crimes and such."
You tried to take her harsh words with a grain of salt, but you were growing annoyed. It felt like you were a child and she was the mother scolding you.
"Rika, you don't have to be like that."
"Look (y/n), I'm not trying to shit on you; but you are literally playing with fire here. This dude is a murderous villain. I am worried about you!"
"I'm aware of his situation, Rika. I know he's not the best person, but I care about him. He cares about me, too!"
"He probably just wants to fuck you. And what about Shoto? Does he know about this? With you messing around with a villain and him being a hero soon, that's gonna put him in a real trick bag!"
"No, Shoto doesn't know. I plan on coming clean eventually. And Dabi knows that we have to stop seeing each other when Shoto and I get married. We had a long talk about it."
Rika's angry expression had softened. Now she was looking at you with what appeared to be sympathy. That didn't sit right with you. You didn't need sympathy, you just needed someone to understand.
"Look Rika, I feel like a different version of myself when I'm around Dabi. It's like I can explore myself and be someone other than the daughter of a rich shop owner. I can be free."
"You can be free with someone who isn't a maniac. Please tell me you haven't put out yet."
"I haven't put out to either of them yet. Although.... Dabi and I have been physical in other ways."
"Like?"
Your face got hot that the thought of what happened the other day. Talking about it sounded so embarrassing. "He fingered me is all. I also may have given him some head."
Rika's eyes widened furiously at your confession. Now that you said it out loud, it was pretty scandalous. Luckily there weren't too many people at the food court right now.
"Don't worry about me, Rika. I'll be fine."
"Promise?"
"I promise."
You finished your lunch and then went your separate ways. The shopping trip was successful, you got a brand new bikini. It was a light pink color with black bows all around. It looked cute on you, you hope Shoto will like it.
You laid your head down on your pillow. All you could think about was your beach date with Shoto. A small part of you hoped it would end like yours and Dabi's date the other day. Your body was aching to feel your fiancée's touch.
Your mind had wandered back to Dabi. He had given you the best orgasm of your life the other day. You felt yourself get wet at just the thought of it.
Your hand had wandered down to your wet center. For the past few nights you had desperately been trying to recreate that sweet release. So far you had been unsuccessful, and unfortunately Dabi wasn't around to make it happen again.
No matter, you were still going to try. You pulled your shorts down around your ankles before inserting two fingers inside yourself. One hand massaged your clit, the other scissored itself around your walls. You called out Dabi's name as you worked yourself.
As you masturbated, your mind would often jump to Shoto. You pictured him fucking you relentlessly on the beach. The mere thought of it got you even wetter. As you thought of him, another dirty thought popped into your head- Dabi and Shoto taking you at the same time. You moaned obnoxiously as you thought of Shoto fucking you from the backdoor as Dabi ate your pussy.
Within a matter of minutes you came. Your orgasm was sweet, but not as good as the one Dabi gave you. You huffed in frustration before heading over to the bathroom to shower.
———
The sand was hot against your feet. Had you not had sandals on, you were sure your feet would burn. You and Shoto threw a few towels down on the sand to set up a little camp.
"Want to go swimming?" You asked.
Shoto nodded at you before you grabbed his hand.
You basically sprinted to the water. The coldness of the ocean felt good against your skin. Shoto stood awkwardly watching.
"You coming or what?"
"I don't swim a lot. I just do the same stuff in a pool?"
You couldn't help but laugh at his aloofness. "Yes, Shoto. Come in!"
He walked into the ocean. Once the water got too deep, he began to swim towards you. You waited patiently for him and watched in enjoyment as he doggy paddled to you.
"See? It's fun!" You said before gently splashing him.
"I guess. It's kind of cold."
"A little."
The water was pretty chilly at first. You had been submerged in it long enough for your body to adjust. Shoto just hung out awkwardly as he tried to use his flames to warm up.
"Shoto, you're in water. I don't think those will work."
"I could still try."
You bobbed over to him. Without warning you wrapped your body around his torso. Shoto's whole body went limp as he felt your body on his. He was able to feel your breast against his bare chest even through the bikini top. Suddenly his whole body had warmed up.
"Is that better?" You asked.
He didn't answer. Poor Shoto wasn't sure what he should do. Your body felt so warm on him, but he was getting uncomfortable with how much he was able to feel.
"We can get out if you want. How about we take a walk on the beach?"
"That would be fine."
You two swam back and started walking along the shore. You offered your hand to Shoto. He clasped your hand in his as you two continued to walk.
His mismatched eyes looked over your frame.
You looked so peaceful as you walked on the beach with him.
About fifteen minutes into your walk, you noticed a rather secluded part of the beach; at least you thought it was secluded. You pulled Shoto's arm in the direction of the location. He let out a yelp of surprise as you dragged him along.
Before Shoto could even ask what was happening, you got on your tip toes and planted a soft kiss on his lips. His cold hand gently clasped your cheek to bring you closer.
"Todoroki?" An unfamiliar voice called.
You and Shoto pulled away from each other to see who the voice belonged to. Standing a few feet away was a group of boys that looked to be about Shoto's age. Two of the three stared at Shoto with widened eyes.
"Oh, hi there Kirashima and Denki."
"Roki, who's this? I didn't know you had a girlfriend." The boy with bright yellow hair with a black strip said as he looked at you.
"This is (y/n), she's my fia-"
One of the boys immediately waved his hand in front of his throat, signaling for Shoto not to disclose who you were. The boy had blonde hair and dark red eyes. He didn't appear as friendly looking as the other two.
"This is my girlfriend"
Two of the three boys offered you a hand shake. They seemed pretty nice, except for the quiet blonde. You sat there talking to them for a bit. Eventually the stand offish one introduced himself to you.
"We'll get going now and leave you to your date. See ya!" The red haired one said before waving.
"Your friends seem nice." You pointed out. "I take it they don't know about the whole arranged marriage?"
"They don't, except for Bakugo. I only told him and my other friend Midoriya about it. My father said not to tell too many people."
"I understand, I only told my best friend."
For the next few hours you and Shoto would alternate between going swimming or sleeping on the beach. Three hours had gone by, and the two of you were getting tired and hungry. Shoto invited you back to his house to make soba. You happily agreed.
When you got to the Todoroki residence, you couldn't believe your eyes. The house was massive, even larger than your parent's home. It was more like a mansion rather than a house. Shoto led you inside.
You took off your shoes and stood awkwardly. Shoto fiddled with his pockets as he was unsure of what to do. The social unawareness made you feel at ease in an odd way. It showed he didn't have an ungodly amount of people over.
"Shoto, this is the part where you give me a house tour."
"Oh, right!"
Shoto grabbed your hand and guided you around. He showed you where the bathrooms and kitchen were first. Afterwards he showed you his room. The mere sight of it made you sad. All there was in the small space wad a bed and a desk. No where in sight was there any other furniture, decorations or anything kind of gadgets. It looked as if it belonged to a grown man rather than a teenager boy.
Before you could ask any questions, Shoto took your hand again and guided you somewhere else. Wherever it was he was taking you, it was in a different part of the house. It seemed Shoto was far from any one else.
"I saved this for last. It's kind of a sensitive topic in our house." Shoto said as you stopped in front of a doorway.
Carefully he opened the door and led you inside. You appeared to be in a room that belonged to a young boy. The walls were a bright shade of blue, and there were some knickknacks on a shelving unit. As your eyes continued to scan the room, you noticed a large memorial looking set up in the corner of the room. Shoto nodded his head in the direction of the shrine, signaling for you to come closer.
You approached the shrine. Almost immediately you noticed there was a picture of a young boy with white hair and blue eyes. Your mind started to replay some of your previous conversations with Shoto. In the past he had mentioned a deceased older sibling.
"This was my oldest brother, Touya. He passed away about eleven years ago. He died in a fire."
"I'm so sorry." You said sympathetically.
You and Shoto stood at the shrine and remained silent. After a few moments of silence, he told you all about his estranged big brother. Of course Endeavor played a big role in that catastrophe. The more you talked with Shoto, the more you hated Endeavor.
Once Shoto had reached his limit of being uncomfortable, he guided you back to his room. You took a seat on Shoto's bed. Your hero fiancée plopped down next to you and eyed you intensely.
Shoto leaned in and placed a rough kiss on your lips. It caught you off guard at first. He is usually so soft and gentle with you. You weren't opposed to the new found aggression. Anytime you got a moment alone at the beach, it was interrupted by someone or something.
The two of you were finally free to have your moment.
The kiss slowly started to escalate. Shoto leaned his body into you, causing you to fall down on the bed.
You shifted your weight around and laid on your back. Your arms wrapped themselves tightly behind his neck.
Shoto didn't want it to just be a heated make out session. He decided to experiment a little bit.
Briefly he removed his lips from your mouth and placed them by your jawbone. A trail of kisses cascaded down your neck. Once he got to your collarbone, you unintentionally let out a moan.
Suddenly Shoto's body got stiff. You pulled your head away to get a better look at his face. His pale skin was red and diaphoretic, like he was flustered about something. Seeing him like that made certain parts of your body tingle. You brought your mouth to his neck and gently sucked on patch of skin. He groaned out as you rubbed your pelvis against him.
That was when you felt it. As your body grinned against his crotch, you felt something stiff that was poking you.
Oh
It made sense now why Shoto looked so flustered. The poor thing was probably feeling embarrassed. You on the other hand couldn't feel any better. Feeling his clothed erection against your shorts felt heavenly. You moaned once more at the contact.
Shoto removed himself from your body. He took a seat at the end of his bed, and threw his hands over the tent in his pants. All you could see was his hand covering his face. You felt awful seeing him like that. Things had gotten too escalated for him, and it was your fault.
"I'm sorry." You said with shame in your voice.
"Why are you sorry?"
"I took it too far. I should have asked before rubbing myself on you. I'm sorry."
Shoto raised a brow at you, as if he was unsure why you felt regretful. He felt like the villain in this situation.
"I don't want you thinking I'm a pervert. When you were moaning I got kind of aroused." He explained.
"Well then I guess I'm a pervert, too. I got pretty turned on as well. It's nothing to be ashamed of Shoto. It's natural."
Your heart was racing. There was nothing your heart desired more than to be intimate with Shoto. He seemed apprehensive, and you were unsure how to proceed.
"Wait, you got aroused too?"
You couldn't help but internally cringe at the odd conversation. Shoto was an innocent dork who was showing no signs of making the first move. Looks like you were going to have to drive this.
Here goes nothing.
"Shoto.... You know when we get married we're going to be intimate at some point. Did- did you want to start now?"
There was no going back from that. You made your feelings known. Shoto looked up at you, his mismatched eyes widened with shock.
"Hold on, are you saying you want to have sex with me?"
"Yes."
Shoto was flabbergasted. You couldn't tell if it was just from the shock, or if he was simply disgusted with you. Perhaps it was both. The longer you studied his reaction, the more foolish you felt. This was really only your second date. Asking to be intimate already was pretty outrageous.
"Hey, forget I said anything. We haven't known each other long enough. I shouldn't have-"
"I wouldn't be opposed." Shoto interrupted.
"R-really?"
He tenderly placed his hand on your thigh. With a very serious expression, he looked up at you.
"I've never done it before. I'm probably not going to be good at it."
"Me neither. Are you sure, Shoto?"
He nodded at you. Both of your hearts pounded furiously in your chests. You were about to lose your virginity to you soon to be husband.
You laid down on his bed. With shaky hands you grabbed at your clothes and peeled them off. Shoto watched in amazement as your nude body was on full display for him.
"Wow.....You're so beautiful." He said in amazement.
"I don't think I should be the only one naked."
Shoto removed his shirt and shorts off of his frame. Now that both of you were completely nude, he climbed onto his bed and straddled you. Goosebumps began to form all over your arms as you felt the contact of bare skin together.
Shoto laid his body on top of yours. Your lips collided together. At first it was slow and experimental, kind of similar to the very first time you kissed. Shoto seemed nervous, so he wanted to take things slow. You desperately wanted him, and you needed more. Feeling bold, you gently inserted your tongue into his mouth. Shoto was accepting of it.
Your tongue wrestled around. As you explored each other's mouths, your hands trailed his body. Shoto gripped your hips, holding on for dear life. You groaned out when you felt his pelvis rut against your opening. He was getting excited from the contact, and it was evident based on how hard he was.
Instinctively you closed your legs together. Your body was responding to his touch. Your center was beginning to drip with anticipation. Shoto slipped his knee in between your legs, causing you to open back up. He was able to feel your excitement.
"Someone's ready," he teased as he rubbed his erection against your labia.
"Shoto, please. I need you."
Your begging was doing something to him. He chocked back a groan of pleasure as his cock twitched. There was no way he was going to be able to last too long.
You slowly opened your legs for him. He grabbed his member and aligned it with your entrance. He gave you a few teasing strokes before he very carefully inserted himself inside you. You winced out at the feeling of being stretched.
"Are you okay?" He asked with worry in his voice.
"I'm okay, it just hurts a little. Keep going, just go slow."
Shoto continued, he stretched you wide as he put his entire manhood in you. He was pretty big, maybe even the same size as Dabi. You felt something inside you tear.
He pulled himself out just to carefully put it back in. The second time wasn't as bad. He repeated the process several more times. Each was less painful than the previous one. The longer he proceeded, the more pleasurable it became.
After about the sixth time, any pain had completely subsided to pleasure. Now that your body was fully excepting of him, he could go all out. Shoto set a calm, yet furious pace. Your walls clamped tightly around him. It wasn't enough, and it was leaving you to feel needy.
"Shoto, please...harder!" You pleaded.
He obeyed and drove himself into you at a more brutal pace. Your back arched at the sudden change in tempo. Shoto was hitting that special spot perfectly. As you looked up at his pleasure filled grin, your mind couldn't help but wander to Dabi. For a brief moment you fantasized about him fucking you. Thinking about him and the coil your abdomen got tighter and tighter as Shoto pounded into you.
Beads of sweat dripped down your forehead. Shoto's cock was seizing inside of you as he stared down at your bouncing breasts. The look of pleasure on your face was intoxicating. It was starting to become too much with how hard your walls were clamping down on him. He knew he wasn't going to be able to last too much longer.
Finally it was happening. The coil inside of you snapped, causing you to explode all over Shoto's cock. Waves of pleasure crashed into you as you came. His relentlessly thrusting didn't let up. You rode out your orgasm as he continued to fuck you. Desperately you have been trying to relive that mind blowing orgasm Dabi gave you on the beach. Now it was happening again, but with Shoto.
"I'm gonna cum! Ah- should I pull out?"
"No, cum in me!"
Shoto let out an animal like groan as he came inside of you, painting your insides white. You cried out in sheer pleasure at the feeling of being filled up. Shoto continued to thrust into you until he was completely empty. Once he finally was, he laid on top of you for several seconds to catch his breath. You laid beneath him, beads of sweat falling onto your brow. He placed on last tender kiss on your lips before pulling out.
You couldn't move. The pleasure had completely overtaken you. You laid on your back enjoying the blissful after math of your orgasm. For being so inexperienced, Dabi and Shoto sure knew how to make you cum.
"Uhhh, (y/n)!"
Shoto's panicked cry caused you to come out of your dazed state. You sat up to meet Shoto's gaze. He stood there, holding onto his blood stained cock. You looked down at your opening. White and red fluids had coated your thighs and labia, leaving a few stains on the sheets.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"
"I'm alright Shoto. You just popped my cherry is all. It's normal for a girl to bleed a little after her first time."
You stood up from the bed. Evidence of Shoto's arousal dripped down your legs. You shuddered as you felt his cum drip from inside you as you walked. The bed was completely covered in sex stains. It needed a wash badly , and so did you and Shoto.
After stripping the bed, you asked Shoto to start a shower for you. As he did so, you started a load of laundry. Once the load had started, you went back to find Shoto. The two of you took a long, relaxing shower. Somewhere in the middle of getting clean, you went for round two. The sound of the water running muffled your moans.
You checked your phone after drying off. It was already five o'clock . The long day at the beach and the hour long sex session made you and Shoto sleepy. You two laid on his bed holding one another and slowly drifted off to sleep.I’m
Chapter Text
You sighed with relief when your body finally hit the bed. For the whole day you were no-stop go go go. You had spent the entire day with Shoto and his family. In the morning you two had went to the hospital to meet his mother. Once that was done you went back to his house to have some alone time. Lastly his sister had a big dinner for the family. You had helped her cook a lot of the dishes. You also got to meet his older brother, Natsuo. Endeavor was also present at the dinner, making things much more awkward.
Other than Endeavor, you liked Shoto's family. His sister and brother seemed like good people. Even his mother was growing on you. At first you didn't care for her after hearing about her throwing boiling water on Shoto. After visiting her you realized she was just a victim who finally snapped under all of the pressure. She had a kind heart.
After the awkward dinner Shoto walked you home. You two exchanged a quick kiss before parting ways. The first thing you did was take a hot shower. The smell of sweat and sex was clinging onto you, and it was beginning to make you feel ill.
Once your body was finally clean, you stumbled into your room. The bed was practically calling your name. You jumped onto your bed and reached for the remote. Your parents were away on a luxury vacation, leaving you to your own devices. The only other thing on the agenda for tonight was to relax and binge watching drama TV.
About an hour into your show, you heard a small tapping sound coming from somewhere in your room. At first you ignored it thinking it was coming from the TV. A few minutes went by and it was audible again. This time you paused your television. You were still able to hear it with the volume off, so now you knew it was coming from somewhere other than the TV.
In your peripheral vision you saw something being hurtled at your window. You didn't have the best view of it, but it appeared to be a small rock or something. You put two and two together and realized someone was throwing rocks at your window, most likely to get your attention.
With caution you approached your bedroom window to see who was outside. There was a tall figure standing in your yard looking up at you. Even in the dark of the night you saw their features: unruly black hair, purple skin, metal piercings shining in the moonlight. You quickly opened your window.
"Dabi? Is that you?" You called out into the night.
"Hey, doll! Anyone home?" He called back to you while waving.
"Come to the front door!"
You closed your window and headed to the front door. Once you saw Dabi appear through the peep hole, you opened up for him. Almost immediately you could tell something was off.
"Hey baby," he said with a slur, "did ya miss me?"
He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you into him. Your nose curled as your face was buried in his chest. He wreaked of alcohol and smoke and..... blood?
You pulled yourself away from him. Your eyes scanned his whole body, and the sight was ungodly. His white shirt was stained with blood and dirt. His mouth and nose were dripping with the crimson fluid. The scars on his wrists and hands looked even worse than the last time you saw him. The worst part of all were his eyes. His pupils were severely dilated, almost as if he was high on something.
"Dabi, what the hell happened?!"
"Oh this?" He asked as he tugged at his dirty shirt, "Got into a tussle earlier in the night. Don't worry about me though. The other guy is a pile of ashes."
You grabbed his hand and led him to your bathroom, totally ignoring the fact he just admitted to killing someone. After taking him to the bathroom, you laid a towel down next to the sink.
"You need to shower before those wounds get infected. Here, give me your clothes and I'll wash them."
He just looked at you like a deer in headlights. Whatever drug he was on was probably alternating his concentration. You sighed before repeating yourself. After the second time of explaining he finally seemed to understand what you were saying. Without warning Dabi started to strip off his clothes. You snapped your head to the side to give him some privacy. A small chuckle was heard from behind you.
"Why are you so shy? It was in your mouth not too long ago?" He teased.
Maybe it was because you had slept with Shoto earlier so you weren't horny, but for some reason his remarks embarrassed you. He was in a vulnerable position right now, and you wanted to make sure he was taken care of.
"You need help. Let's not think about that right now," you said tenderly. You didn't want him to think you were rejecting him.
Dabi wrapped his arms around your shoulders tightly. His nude body was pressed behind you, and you could feel everything. The cold metal of his staples kissed your skin as he buried his face in the crook of your neck.
"You're so good to me doll. How did a bum like me find someone like you."
You flinched as he placed his lips on your neck. Dabi placed a small trail of kisses down your neck. A soft groan made its way past your lips when you felt his tongue drag itself towards your traps.
The second you felt something poking your bottom, you pulled yourself from his embrace. You turned around to grab his clothes and desperately tried to ignore his half hard dick.
"I'm gonna wash these. I'll patch you up when you're done."
You shut the door behind you. Hopefully Dabi would take care of his needs alone in the shower, but you had a feeling things would be escalating between you two tonight. It was up to you whether you would be remaining faithful to Shoto.
After throwing his clothes in the wash, you gathered the supplies you would need. With some hydrogen peroxide, gauze and paper tape you made your way back upstairs. From your dad's closet you grabbed a black shirt and a pair of sweats he could borrow until his clothes dried.
Within about ten minutes,Dabi came back to your room with only a towel wrapped around his waist. You handed him the clothes, but he opted to stay clad in only the towel. You didn't bother arguing with him.
You instructed Dabi to sit on your bed. Once he was seated, you noticed something peculiar on the top of his head. There were some white hairs poking out, almost like they were roots of his hair that were showing. It seemed that the black was not his natural color, and he had been dying it this whole time. It definitely sparked some interest, but there were more important things to tend to first.
On the bed you sat next to him. You took some peroxide and drizzled some on a sheet of gauze. Once it was wet enough, you dabbed it over the wounds on his face.
"That doesn't hurt, does it?"
"I don't feel any pain anymore, doll."
You continued your work. After cleaning his wounds you covered them in some dry gauze and tapped over it. You repeated the process until all of his wounds were tended to. As you worked you couldn't help but notice the look in his eyes. It seemed whatever he was high on was wearing off. He was looking at you with admiration as you cleaned him up.
"There, all done," you said once you tapped over the final wound.
"Thanks a lot, doll."
You reminded next to him. Dabi continued to study you, like you were a beautiful piece of art. He was still only in the towel. Your eyes had drifted down to his v-line and the towel that was wrapped very low on his hips.
"You know, I didn't think it was possible for me to feel anything for anyone. Thought I would only go through life hating people." He said
Like he did in the bathroom, Dabi leaned in and placed his mouth on your jawbone. His lips trailed down your neck and all the way to your collarbone. Gently he bite down your soft skin. As his mouth attacked your neck, he took his hand and massaged your breast.
Your body was beginning to react to his touch. You could feel yourself getting wet as his fingers twisted at your nipples. One of his hands traveled down to your clothed center. You moaned out as he played with you.
He removed his hands and lips from your body. You sighed with annoyance when you couldn't feel his touch anymore. You looked over to him.
"Doll, I think I'm starting to really fall for you."
Dabi gently cupped your chin and brought your head upwards to look at him. He stared deep in your eyes with a lustful look. Your heart rate spiked as you gazed into each other's eyes.
Slowly you felt your weight shift closer to him. It was like your body was moving on its own. Instead of sitting beside him, you were now straddling his lap. Once you put the weight of your pelvis against his, you felt his arousal over your clothes.
Simultaneously you leaned into each other. Your lips met his in a soft kiss. Dabi wrapped his arms around your back and pulled you closer. His lips pressed harder against your mouth. The gentle kiss had turned into a desperate, needy one; and you loved every second of it.
Dabi's tongue found itself inside your mouth, exploring every inch of you. You yelped out when he bit down on your bottom lip. As his tongue invaded your mouth, he tugged at the towel around his waist.
You removed your body off of his. Dabi threw the towel to the side. His hardened manhood sprang up. He grabbed it and stroked it as he watched you.
"Take your clothes off and hop on my dick." He commanded as he jerked off.
You did as you were told and quickly stripped down. In a matter of seconds you were fully exposed to him. He bit down on his lips as he eyed your body.
"Have you ever done this before?" He asked as you climbed onto his lap.
"Y-yes," you admitted sheepishly. He glanced up at you with a soft smile.
"With your fiancée probably, right?"
"Have you done this at all?" You asked, ignoring his question.
"Nope, you're my first."
Hearing that only aroused you more. You lined yourself up with his anatomy. Slowly you lowered yourself onto him. You winced as he stretched your opening.
It took a moment for your body to adjust to him. Dabi had more girth than he did length, so taking him was a bit more difficult than taking Shoto's cock. Once your body adjusted, you slowly bounced up and down on his pelvis.
"Awww fuck! you're so tight!" Dabi yelled as he grabbed at your hips.
You cried out as he slammed his hips against yours. He was hitting that special spot inside of you perfectly. You continued to bounce on him. The coil in your belly was getting tight you rode him.
Suddenly he pushed you off of him. Before you could even question the abrupt change, he grabbed you and flipped you onto your stomach. Dabi picked your hips up in the air with one hand, and the other shoved your face into your pillow.
With one thrust he was back inside of you. This position caused more discomfort than the first, but it was a pleasurable pain. This way he was able to cram his whole length inside of you. Your muffled moans echoed through your room.
Dabi felt as if he was high as he rammed himself in and out of you. He couldn't believe he was actually having sex. This was an activity he didn't think he would ever part take in, and you felt fucking incredible.
After several position changes and orgasms later, Dabi came inside you. You screamed out in pleasure as you felt his cum coat your insides. Waves of pleasure crashed into you as you felt yourself come undone for the third time that night. His limp body laid on top of yours for a few moments as he tried to catch his breath.
The flame villain rolled off of you. When Dabi had settled on the bed, you climbed out. The wetness of the sheets could be felt beneath your fingertips. It made you shudder.
"That's quite the water park you got there." Dabi said as he rested his arms behind his neck.
"I'm gonna switch over the laundry."
You thew your clothes back on before heading downstairs to the laundry room. That "post nut clarity" was beginning to hit you hard. You couldn't help but feel like a slut. In the span of twelve hours you had unprotected sex with two men. You knew sleeping with Dabi was wrong, and Shoto didn't deserve that. Hell, at this point Dabi and Shoto might as well start fucking each other. You couldn't stay away from Dabi, though.
After switching over the laundry you returned back to your room. You would deal with the bedsheets in the morning. Dabi was beginning to put the clothes you gave him earlier on.
"You know you can stay for a few days. My parents are out of town."
"I'll leave by the morning, doll. I don't want to be a bother. Besides, I don't need that fiancé of yours seeing me or anything."
You understood his concerns. Before climbing into bed with him you changed out of your pajamas. When Dabi felt your weight on the bed, he rolled over and wrapped his arms tightly around your waist. A tender kissed was placed on your neck before he drifted off to sleep. Your heart threatened to beat out of your chest. As Dabi held you, you noticed you felt the same exact way around him as you felt around Shoto. A shocking realization slapped you hard in the face.
You were falling in love with both Shoto and Dabi.
Chapter 8: Hero In A Villain’s World
Summary:
Shoto gets hit with hard news. As he walks around the city, he runs into an unexpected acquaintance; and finds himself in an unusual situation
Chapter Text
Shoto Todoroki stomped through the streets of Japan in a pure rage. He couldn't believe what had just transpired a few moments ago.
When his father came home for the day, he had called Shoto to speak with him.
"What do you want?" Shoto asked with no enthusiasm.
"Son, there is something we must discuss. It's about your wedding."
Shoto felt his stomach drop. He didn't like the tone of his father's voice. It sounded like what they had to discuss was serious. The father and son duo sat down in the living room to have a chat.
"I know originally we had said you would be married after graduating UA."
"Yes, I know."
"You see the situation with the villains is escalating. Things are not looking so good. (Y/N) family and I were talking. We may marry you off sooner..... probably within the next few months. I would have to do a lot of legal paperwork to give my consent, but it can be done."
"........"
All Shoto remembers after that conversation is storming out of the house. After making it past the gates of the estate, he just ran. His father calling out to him echoed through the night as he sprinted away from his home.
Endeavor was a madman, everyone knew that. But to marry Shoto off so young was unforgivable. And for what? Because a war might ruin the plans!?
The dual hair teen walked the streets aimlessly. It was a hairy neighborhood he was in, but he didn't care. He needed to get as far away as possible from his father and his life. The young hero was wondering if you had even been made aware of this yet. Would you be okay with getting married in a few months?
The thought made him ill. Shoto had feelings for you, he truly did; but getting married at only sixteen was too much to bear. He's a teenager who has no business becoming a husband right now. Then what? Would Endeavor expect him to become a father at seventeen?
He was so worked up that Shoto was hardly even paying attention to his surroundings. He sharply turned a corner that was in front of an ally. The second his body rotated, he bumped roughly into someone.
The force was so great both he and whoever he ran into fell onto the floor.
"I am so sorry! Here let me help you u-"
Shoto's eyes grew wide when he saw who it was he bumped into. Sitting on the concrete was Himiko Toga, the only female member of the League of Villains. Shoto felt his blood run cold as he looked down at the teenage murderer.
"No worries." She said before getting up.
Toga opened her eyes to see none other than Shoto Todoroki standing before her with that deer in headlights expression. The young villain blinked several times as she processed who she was looking at. Once the dots connected in her head her face turned a furious shade of red.
"Hey!!!! Aren't you Izuku's friend!" Toga screamed as she leapt towards Shoto, placing both of her hands on his chest. "How is he? Has he talked about me at all? Have you seen him recen- Wait, why are you crying?"
The villain's demeanor went from manic to serious in a matter of seconds. Shoto cocked his head at her question. He brought his knuckle to his eye and wiped it. Sure enough there was now a tear on his finger. He didn't even realize he was crying until she said something.
Toga removed her hands from Shoto's chest and grabbed his hands. She studied the boy in front of her carefully. He looked as if something bad happened to him.
"Are you okay? Did you need to talk about something? I'm all ears!" She said happily.
Shoto was confused at her kindness. This girl was a criminal, a villain. She was his natural enemy.
So why did she care if he was crying?
"Why are you being so nice to me? You're a villain. Aren't I on your groups kill list or something?"
"I may be a villain, but I'm still human. I'm not a monster. We can forget about labels for one night. Here, I know a place that will make you feel better and we can talk. Follow me!"
Toga yanked at Shoto's hand, signaling for him to follow her. With no explanation she just dragged him along, and he simply followed. She skipped along as she dragged the hero in training behind her. Shoto knew this was a terrible idea. A legit criminal was taking him to some unknown place. He could probably defend himself if need be, but it was still a bad idea.
As they walked to wherever it was they were going, Shoto told Toga about what happened earlier with his dad. The teenager empathized with him, and assured him she would help him to feel better about his situation.
After a few minutes of walking, Toga and Shoto ended up in front of a shady looking bar. Shoto was confused at first. Why would Toga take him to a bar? She was only slightly older than he was? Surely it was illegal for her to drink.
"Why are we at a bar? I'm not old enough to drink."
"Neither am I, but the bartender is cool. Doesn't card anyone. You won't tell, will you hero?"
"I won't say anything."
"Good!"
Toga took Shoto inside. The bar wasn't too busy. There were only a few people sitting up front. With his hand still in hers, Toga led Shoto to the front of the bar.
"Jin, fancy meeting you here!" Toga said to a man sitting up by the bar. A blonde man who appeared to be in his thirties turned over to look at Toga. He had a cigarette dangling from his mouth. Once he noticed Shoto standing behind Toga, his eyes grew wide as saucers.
"Toga! What the hell? Why is he here!" The blonde man snapped.
"Relax Jin. This guy's down bad. He's not our enemy right now. We're gonna drown his sorrows in some booze."
A man that Shoto assumed was the bartender walked up to them. Toga ordered a few beers for both her and Shoto. She smiled wildly at her new companion while the man just scowled in his direction.
"What's your deal?" The man called Jin finally asked Shoto. The young hero gulped down his own saliva before answering.
"My dad just told me I'm getting married in a few months. It's a quirk marriage. We got into a big fight."
"Real unfortunate kid, but why hang with villains? You're trying to be a hero aren't you? This isn't the place for you."
Shoto knew Jin was right. Him being here socializing with villains was a huge ethical dilemma. He could get in huge trouble for this. Shoto was always so careful and calculated his whole life. For once he was going to have fun and act like a regular teenager. He was about to get married away in a few months, he was owed one night of fun.
"Your friend here has been very kind to me. I will repay her by keeping my mouth shut about this. Don't worry." Shoto said to Jin. The blonde man just sighed before turning his attention back to his cigarette.
The bartender brought two beers to Toga and Shoto. Seconds after her hand reached the bottle, she walked over and sat on Shoto's lap. The teen couldn't help the blush that crept up his neck as he felt her getting comfortable on his lap.
"Open up," she said as he brought the bottle to his lips.
"Oh, I can drink it mysel-"
Before Shoto could even finish his sentence, Toga gently shoved the bottle in his mouth. She titled it slightly so the fluid would make its way down. Shoto sipped on the fluid until she removed the bottle from his mouth.
"Was it good?"
"Better than I thought it would be."
The two teens finished their beers fast. Yoichi brought them two more. As the night progressed they drank beer after beer after beer. Shoto had never had a drop of alcohol in his life since before tonight. He was feeling the effects rather fast.
————-/
"Say it again!" A very drunk Shoto said.
"Fuck Endeavor!" Toga shouted happily.
"Again!"
"Fuck Endeavor!"
"One more time baby!"
"FUCK ENDEAVOR!"
"That's right! Fuck that bastard, stealing my childhood!" Shoto yelled as he slurred his words.
Everyone in the bar turned their heads to the teens. Yoichi looked at them crosseyed as they bantered back and forth.
"I think you over served them." Twice pointed out to Yoichi. The bartender agreed.
"Alright you two, I'm cutting you off. No more booze!" Yoichi scolded. Both teens groaned in disappointment. Yoichi ignored them and removed any alcohol that was in front of them.
"So, where's that blue haired crusty baboon at anyway?" Shoto asked with a slur in his words.
"Oh Tomura? He's floating around in a tube somewhere. Getting surgery or some shiii like that."
Yoichi shook his head at the pair. He turned to Twice, "these two drank my whole stock. I have to run to the back to get some more. Could you keep an eye on the bar?"
————
Dabi sighed heavily as he heard towards the bar. It had been a shit week and he needed some booze to help him relax. It had been a while since he last came to the bar. All of his free time either went to you or missions for the league.
Before Dabi could even put his hand on the door, Yoichi came flying out of the bar. He and Dabi exchanged nods with one another.
"Leaving already?" The blue flame villain asked.
"No, just getting some stuff from out back. There's some real bizarre shit going on in there."
Dabi internally cringed hearing that. Just when he thought he would get a relaxing night. "What the hell going on in your bar?"
"Toga brought one of them UA kids, Endeavor's son. They're drinking each other under the table right now."
"What did you just say?" Dabi asked, his mood shifting from annoyed to one of pure rage.
"Uh, I said Toga brought a UA kid and they're drinking together?"
Dabi stomped past Yoichi and into the bar. His eyes scanned the crowd until he found them. Shoto's candy cane colored hair could be spotted by the bar. Sure as shit that little maniac was sitting next to him having a good old time.
Nothing but pure fury was soaring through Dabi's veins. What the fuck was Endeavor's little puppet doing here? And why the fuck was Toga the one who brought him.
Dabi walked up to the bar. As he did, he noticed Shoto was leaning in towards Toga almost as if he was about to kiss her. Quickly the villain got between the two.
"What the fuck is going on here!?" Dabi yelled.
"Ohhh Dabi, you're here too? Yay! It's a party!" Toga cheered. Shoto clapped his hands at her excitement.
"Why the fuck did is Endeavor's little masterpiece here?"
"I brought him! It was me! Shoto here is being forced to get married! I helped him feel better! I'm a good person Dabi!"
Dabi looked at both Toga and Shoto. The two of them were very obviously fucked up. Saying they were intoxicated was an understatement. How much did Yoichi give them?
Dabi looked over to see Twice next to them. When he asked his split colleague about what happened, he pretty much said repeated what Toga said. Dabi was ready to explode with anger. A hero in training was sitting in a villain's turf, and no one seemed to give a shit. Instead they were partying with him as if he was one of them.
The second Yoichi came into view, Dabi pounced on him. "How much did give them?"
"Well, they had a case so I would say about eleven or twelve each."
"Twelve!"
"What do you care what they do?" Yoichi asked, getting defensive.
"Because you let this little hero in here. Why didn't you turn him away?"
"Don't be like that, Dabi. My bar is open to everyone, hero or villain."
"That's a bold statement for someone who serves minors."
Dabi turned around to face his little brother. Shoto looked at him with a stupid, dopey expression on his face. The younger male hiccuped as he looked at the villain. Dabi glared daggers at him.
"Aww shit man, is this your girl?" A very drunken Shoto asked Dabi, "my bad man. I don't want any trouble."
Toga leaned over and hugged Dabi's arm tightly. He scowled at her before yanking his arm away from her grasp. Dabi rubbed his temple aggressively as he stood in between the two drunk teens.
"We probably shouldn't send him off to his house like that." Yoichi pointed out.
"We? There is no we!" Dabi yelled.
"You could take him to my place and you both could crash there like you did with that one girl." Twice said .
"I'm not babysitting this UA brat. You all can do it since you let him get fucked up!"
"Me and Toga are gonna go out and do stuff tonight. It's just for one night and you can kick him out in the morning."
Shoto began to sway heavily on the stool. Everyone knew he was seconds away from blacking out. After only a few moments his body collapsed, landing right into Dabi's arms. The flame villain cringed as his little brother's body laid on his chest.
"Can't even stand. Dabi, just take him to my place!" Twice shouted.
Dabi was so done with everything he didn't even feel like arguing. He laid Shoto against the stool and turned his back to him. Twice and Yoichi helped get the teen onto Dabi's back. Once he had a good drip on his limp
body, he headed out of the bar.
"Some villains you all are," Dabi said to himself as he carried Shoto around on his back.
He just simply couldn't believe the situation he was in. Never did he think he would be carrying his drunk little brother around the alleys of Japan. Had a hero spotted them, this would look very bad. There was nothing he wanted more than to just cremate Shoto right here and now. He definitely had ample opportunity to dispose of the little masterpiece right now. Despite being a villain, even Dabi wouldn't kick someone when they were down this bad. It wouldn't be a fair fight if he were to attack Shoto now, and it would probably be boring. Even if Dabi wanted to kill Shoto, Touya wouldn't let him.
Dabi kicked open the door to Twice's apartment. He launched Shoto onto the couch. The teenager yawned before curling up like a cat. A sigh of annoyance escaped past Dabi's lips as he looked down at his younger brother.
The sound of a phone ringing snapped Dabi out of his homicidal ideations. Thinking it was his phone that was ringing, he pulled it out of his pocket. Quickly he realized it was Shoto's phone that was going off. Dabi walked back over to his brother to find the phone halfway out of his pocket. By the time he got his hands on the phone, whoever had been calling was transferred to voicemail.
He quickly glanced over at Shoto to make sure he was truly asleep. The loud snore confirmed the younger male was out cold. Dabi walked to the other side of the apartment with Shoto's phone in hand. Of course there was no passcode. Once he was far enough away, he tried to open it. With ease he was able to get inside.
"Moron," Dabi said quietly as he opened Shoto's messages. The phone had been buzzing in his hands since he laid his fingers on it.
The first thing Dabi saw were the notifications from a contact listed as 'Dad'. For some reason Dabi felt his stomach do a somersault. He took a deep breath before opening the messages.
Dad: Son, please come back we can talk about this
Dad: Shoto, please. Come home. You ran out so fast I didn't even have time to properly explain myself
Dad: SON? Are you okay? You're not answering! Are you safe?
Nothing but rage and disgust coursed through Dabi's veins. Of fucking corse Endeavor was worried about his little golden child. Shoto was always the only one of them he ever cared about. The rest of the kids were seen as nothing but failures.
While snooping through the phone, Dabi accidentally backed out of the text thread. All of Shoto's messages were now on full display to him. For a moment he was just going to put the phone back, until he saw something that caught his eye.
Your name could be seen in his messages. Dabi felt his knees get weak as he looked at your contact in his phone. Surely it wasn't you. It had to be another (y/n).
Every fiber in his being warned him not to click on the text thread with your name. Deep down he knew he wouldn't like what he would uncover. In the end he decided to ignore his gut feeling and peek anyway.
Y/N: hey.... So your dad called my house. You know he wants us to get married by the end of the year right?
Y/N: I don't like it either, but we can make it work. You can come over if you want to talk
Y/N: your dad called again, he said you ran off and haven't been answering. You can talk to me if you want, just please go home
Y/N: Shoto please call me back I just want to know your ok
Y/N: ??????!!!!!! Are you alright!!!????
Dabi's heart threatened to pound out of his chest. He hadn't felt like this since he woke up in that nursery all those years ago. His hands were trembling as he continued to look through the phone. There were about 6 missed calls from Endeavor, 3 from Fuyumi, and 8 from you.
Dabi felt like he was going to be sick.
Chapter 9: The Morning After
Summary:
Shoto wakes up in an unfamiliar place.
Chapter Text
Shoto's mismatched eyes fluttered open. The harsh beams from the sun nearly blinded him as he awoke. Instinctively he threw his arm over his eyes to protect his vision. His body slowly rose from the surface he had fallen asleep on, like a zombie rising from the grave. As he moved, his head pounded violently like a drum. The nausea soon set in after the migraine.
Memories of last night came flooding into his mind. Shoto felt sick as the events played back to him. What the hell even happened last night?
The young hero rubbed his eyes as he took in his surroundings. One big mystery was how he even made it out of the bar. He was so fucked up he could hardly even remember most of the details. One thing that was clear to him was that he had no idea where he was. Currently he was in some random apartment.
"Oh shit, please tell me I didn't go home with that girl," Shoto said quietly to himself.
Shoto sat up and sighed. With his head still pounding he got up from the couch and stretched his limbs. He let out a loud yawn as he paced around the couch.
"Well, look who's finally awake," a raspy voice called out.
Shoto nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the disembodied voice. He snapped his whole body around to look for whoever called out to him. Sitting in a chair across the room was none other than the flame villain, Dabi. He sat there clad in only his stapled up jeans and white tang-top. Dabi rested his arm on his knee as he watched Shoto.
Mismatched eyes widened as he looked over at the villain. Shoto immediately sprang into a fighting stance. On his left fist his fire activated, forming a small inferno in his palm. Shoto glared at the villain as if he was anticipating an attack. Dabi let out a dry laugh.
"Relax kid, I ain't looking for a fight. If I wanted to attack you, I would have done it last night when you were too fucked up to even stand."
Shoto gasped at Dabi's statement. His body relaxed as his fire went out. The younger male cocked his head to the side.
"Wait, were you the one who brought me here?" Shoto asked.
"Yup, didn't want to though. Had to carry you on my back like a fucking possum."
Shoto raised a brow at the patchwork male. Something wasn't adding up here. Why would Dabi of all people carry him to shelter willingly. He was a villain, right? So why would he be helping people?
"Why? Why would you do that for me? Why would you help me?" Shoto asked with suspicion lacing his words.
Dabi couldn't help but roll his eyes. "It was either that or leave you in a ditch somewhere. I kind of wanted to do the ladder after I had to stop you from fucking my coworker last night."
Shoto flinched at the memory of Himiko Toga. Vaguely he remembers making an attempt to kiss her after she sat on his lap and spit beer down his throat. Had it not been for Dabi, he might have made a huge mistake.
"Thank you for that. You stopped me from making a really bad mistake. I almost cheated on my fiancée."
Dabi couldn't help but smile. This conversation was going exactly where he wanted it to. He was completely alone with Shoto, free to get any information he wanted out of him. Right now Dabi didn't give a shit that he was Endeavor's masterpiece. He didn't care that this was the little brother that replaced him as a child. He didn't care about that strong desire to end his little brother's life. The only information he wanted out of Shoto right now was details about his relationship with you.
"Fiancée aye? You seem a little young to be engaged," Dabi pointed out.
"It wasn't my choice," Shoto grumbled as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck.
Hook, line and sinker. Dabi acted surprised by Shoto's statement. "Oh really? What do you mean?"
Shoto looked over at the villain in front of him. Should he really tell this man the intimate details of his life? That could really come back to bite him in the ass, given the fact this was a villain he was speaking to. On the other hand, Dabi did give him somewhere to sleep when he was too drunk. Maybe he wasn't all that bad?
"It's a quirk marriage. Our parents arranged it."
That was the final piece of evidence Dabi needed to confirm it was truly Shoto you were engaged to. He had clocked it a while ago, but he just simply refused to believe it. The thought of it made him ill. Of fucking course it would be him. It never failed for Shoto to swoop in and take something Dabi loved. He couldn't say he was surprised that Endeavor was forcing Shoto to enter a quirk marriage.
Shoto looked at his phone and felt sick when he saw all the missed calls from you. He would definitely have some explaining to do when he called you back. Right now he had to deal with this first.
"Sounds tragic," Dabi said dryly. He was now glaring at Shoto.
The young hero bowed his head to the villain. "Thank you again for your hospitality, but I should probably be leaving now."
Dabi scoffed at Shoto's little head bow. His brother sure was a naive little fool. He must have gotten that from their mother. Dabi got off of the chair and walked over towards Shoto. His tattered up arm wrapped its around the back of younger male's neck.
"Sure thing. I bet your daddy's waiting for ya. I'll point ya to the door," Dabi said as he walked with Shoto. The flame villain was too close for comfort. The scent of cigarettes and a bonfire filled Shoto's nostrils.
Dabi practically dragged Shoto to the main entrance of the building. Shoto kept his head down low as the villain guided him out. He still had his guard up just in case things went South. Luckily they didn't, and Shoto safely made it outside.
"Oh and Sho? Don't think you're off that list because I was nice to you for one night," Dabi said mockingly to his brother.
Shoto turned around to face the patchwork villain.
He cocked his head. "You know, last night would have been the perfect opportunity to get rid of me."
"Yeah, sure. But not even I can kick someone when they were as down bad as you."
"You know Dabi, I don't think you're as evil as you make yourself out to be. Thanks again!"
Before he could even retort, Shoto had ran away in the opposite direction. Dabi let out a groan of annoyance and a scoff as he thought about what that little pain in the ass hero said.
"What the hell would you know about it, little masterpiece?" He said to himself as he watched Shoto run.
Dabi desperately needed a drink after that whole fiasco. He turned on the heel of his boot and headed towards the bar. Yoichi should be opening shop right about now.
As soon as Dabi got to the bar, he ordered as many shots as he could possibly take. Yoichi shot him a worried glance as he watched his regular drown himself in alcohol.
"Slow down, Dabi!"
"Don't tell me what to do!" The villain yelled back with a strong slur.
"You're already drunk! You're even worse than what that Shoto kid was last night!"
"Don't say that bastard's name! I don't want to hear it!"
"That's it, I'm cutting you off!"
Yoichi took away any alcohol that was in front of Dabi. The flame user spat a variety of cuss words at the bartender before stumbling out of the bar. In his drunken state he wandered back to the mansion where the league and paranormal liberation army were hiding. He had been skipping out on his lieutenant duties as of late. Now that he had some motivation in his system, he could focus on work.
Dabi thought about you as he made his way to his destination. You were a dangerous one alright, you almost had him in your grasp. He was really about to simp for you. All this time he was out being loyal, you were spreading it open for his baby brother of all people. Dabi came to the decision that if you were gonna fuck someone else, then he was too. He did still have feelings for you though, he was just done being the side piece.
For a week or two he ignored you. Your text and calls went unanswered. He doesn't plan on ignoring you forever. At some point in the near future he'll get back to you, but for now he is going to live his life not worrying about you. During that period Dabi begins to spiral. He goes on drinking and drug binges with some of the other liberation army members. A couple times he even wakes up next to some random woman from the night before. Despite all of the sex, drugs and alcohol; he can't stop thinking about you. You were the most addictive drug of all.
Dabi studied his arms as he pulled out his phone to finally text you back. His scars just keep getting worse and worse. He had to move the staples further down his hand. The young man can't help but laugh at his scorched skin.
He comes up with some bullshit excuse as to why he's been avoiding you. You didn't seem to be too angry, considering how fast you texted back; but you did seem a little off.
(Y/N): no worries. When are you free next? We have to talk.....
A few weeks ago he would have been panicking at your message, but now he didn't give much of a shit. Dabi had a good idea what it was you two needed to talk about. Very distinctively he remembered going through Shoto's phone while he was asleep on his couch and seeing the message about getting married early. Dabi was certain you were going to talk about breaking off the little fling you two had, and he would be okay with that. Besides, he doesn't think you'll ever want to see him again after what he has in store for you and Shoto.
--------
"Hey (y/n), this dress would look really good on you!"
Rika declared. In her hand was a beautiful coral pink ball gown.
"That does looked good. I think I'll try it one."
You excused yourself to the fitting room and tried the dress one. After getting it around your small frame, you snapped a picture of yourself and sent it to Shoto. He gave you a thumbs up in approval of the dress.
You took the dress off and paid for it. During the upcoming weekend you and Shoto were going to a hero's ball. It was an event your parents had coordinated for the two of you. With the wedding coming soon than expected, you were slowly but surely going to make your relationship public. That was going to cause a whole new set of problems for you.
For about two weeks you could not get a hold of Dabi. No matter how many times you tried to call or text, you could never get through. Finally a few days ago he got back with you. During his little MIA period, it gave you plenty of time to think.
You would give him one more night of fun, then that would be it. With the wedding coming so soon, you realized you couldn't do this anymore. It wasn't fair to Shoto to be sleeping around behind his back with a villain of all people. It was true you loved Dabi, but you had duties you had to prioritize. After taking care of the whole Dabi ordeal, there was another tough decision you had made.
After the ball you were going to come clean to Shoto about your affair with the infamous flame villain.

Chapter Text
"Ohhhh, Dabi- fuck!" You cried out.
The sounds of your moans and skin slapping together echoed through the room. Dabi had you bent over your bed as he fucked you violently. Tonight was going to be your last time being intimate, so the two of you were making the most out of it.
The tip of his cock touched that special spot inside you that made you see stars. You buried your face in your pillow as you felt your walls clench tightly around him. A muffled scream came out of your mouth as you came hard on his dick. Dabi slammed his hips against yours as you rode out your third orgasm of the night.
His cock twitched inside of you, signaling he was also close to another release. He had already came inside of you earlier, so doing it again wouldn't be much fun. He wanted to cum in a different hole. It was his way of giving you a little departing gift.
Without warning he pulled out of your abused hole. You nearly collapsed onto the bed, until you heard the sound of him jerking off behind you.
"Turn around and open your mouth, princess." He said as he stroked his cock.
Like an obedient pet you did as you were told and turned around. He placed his cock directly in front of your face. You opened up your mouth and waited for the filling. Dabi groaned wildly as he came, filling your mouth full of his seed. Some of it missed, landing on your chin and cheek. He smirked at your messy face.
After releasing himself on you, he went and fetched you a damp towel. You cleaned yourself up as he got his boxers on. Once you were cum free, you plopped down on your bed. Dabi laid next to you. You rolled over and rested your head on his chest. His pulse was rapid and a wheezing sound was audible. You assumed it was coming from his damaged lungs. It wasn't the most comforting sound, but you needed to lay here with him.
The two of you stayed like that for a while. Your fingers intertwined as you cuddled next to him. Knowing this was the last time you could lay like this absolutely crushed you, but it was for the best. Dabi was in agreement with that as well.
After about an hour of cuddling, Dabi let out a sigh before climbing out of your bed. He looked at you with a sad expression.
"I should probably get going here soon. The longer I stay the worse it will be."
"Yeah, you're right. Dabi, I'm so sorry about this."
"It's okay doll. I understand."
"It's just isn't fair to my fiancé. I mean, we can still talk. I'm here if you need me. If you were in my shoes you would do the same, wouldn't you?"
"I mean I guess. Look doll, you don't have to explain yourself. I get you wanting to be done with this. Does Shoto know that you've been fucking me?"
Your blood ran cold after hearing that. Dabi offered you a wicked grin as your eyes widened. Did he really just say Shoto's name, or where you hearing things?
"I beg your pardon?"
"Shoto, your fiancée , does he know you've been taking my cock?"
Your heart dropped into your stomach as you kept your gaze on Dabi. How the hell did get Shoto's name? You only told Rika who it was you were engaged to, and no one else. How the fuck did Dabi know?
"I- well no. Dabi, how the hell do you know my fiancée's name?"
Your lover's demeanor shifted. He went from being calm and collected to chaotic and taunting. All he did was grin at you, like he thought the whole situation was amusing.
"Oh, I only met Shoto the other day. He came out to that bar. Was real depressed about something. Kid got so fucked up he almost fucked my buddy Toga. Had one hell of a make-out session. She was sitting in his lap and spitting beer in his mouth. Luckily I was there to stop shit from escalating. "
Dabi stuck his tongue out and flicked it in the air, like he was imitating a french kiss. It was lewd and made you extremely uncomfortable. You were unsure of how to feel about what you just heard. Would Shoto really do that? If Dabi was telling the truth, that meant Shoto lied to you.
"He blacked out, but I took him home. Was being a nice guy that night. After he crashed out, his phone rang nonstop. I saw your name pop up on his phone. That's when all the pieces fell into place."
You would be lying to yourself if hearing this didn't upset you. Knowing Shoto did all of that did hurt. Not so much the cheating, but the lying to you.
"That's not what Shoto said!"
"Oh no? And what did Shoto say, doll?"
"He said he was at a friend's party, had too much to drink, and stayed at the dorms."
Dabi chucked at your answer. Deep in your gut you knew he was telling the truth about Shoto, and it made you sick.
"Damn princess, that's not good- lying to each other already. Not off to a great start!" He teased.
You were beginning to feel uncomfortable in Dabi's presence. Something about him was different. He had done a complete 180 on you, and you were now nervous. It seemed like he could snap at any moment. You slowly started to back away from him.
"Hey, don't give me that look! I'm not gonna hurt you, doll. I'd never do that."
"I-I know, it's just you're scarring me."
That wicked grin on his face softened. Dabi let out a sigh before wrapping his arms around your waist. He pulled you into his chest and gently squeezed you.
"I'm sorry baby. I didn't mean to scare you," he said as he stroked your hair.
You felt as if your body weighed a thousand pounds. The alarm bells were ringing and that little voice was screaming at you to pull away from him. It was as if you were paralyzed, and your only defense was to just lay your head on his chest.
After what felt like an eternity, Dabi finally pulled away. He placed one final kiss on your lips. It was soft and gentle. You pressed your lips against his and cupped his cheek. The kiss didn't last long, but you wanted to cherish every second of it.
Dabi pulled his face away from yours. He nodded to you then walked over to the window. "See ya around doll. Good luck with Shoto. I hope you two can work it out!"
And just like that he was gone, leaving you alone and confused. His words were not genuine, and you could tell there was bitterness in his heart. While you did care for Dabi, you couldn't afford to have him as your problem. You had to focus your attention on Shoto, and how the two of you were going to fix this.
-------
The ball room was jam packed with heroes and heroes to be. Everyone was clad in the finest garments. The women had on bright, puffy dresses and the men wore luxurious suits. You felt underdressed with your modest coral dress.
"Wow, I didn't think it would be this lively," Shoto points out.
"Yeah, it's super crowded."
The two of you made your way inside. As you walked in, several heads snapped towards you. Almost immediately you saw people whispering to one another as they kept their eyes on you. Some of the conversations you were able to make out.
"Isn't that Endeavor's son? Who's that girl he's with?"
"They look good together. I wonder if they're a couple."
"I wouldn't be surprised if this was a blossoming quirk marriage. "
That last one in particular spiked your anxiety off the charts. You could feel yourself being to hyperventilate. Being the topic of conversation never sat right with you.
"Are you okay?"
You looked over to Shoto. He offered a concerned look. You shook your head and assured him everything was okay. A soft smile spread across his face as he offered his hand to you.
"Want to dance?"
You accepted his offer and made your way to the dance floor. Slow and relaxing music was being played, and several other couples had already gathered to dance. Shoto guided you to the floor and made his way past the crowd. After finding a good spot, he turned to face you. He placed his hands around your hips and pulled you close. Your arms wrapped themselves around the back of his neck.
You shifted your bodies to the beat of the music. As you gazed into those mismatched eyes, you couldn't help but feel at ease. It seemed like everything else in the world just stood still as you and Shoto danced. Your husband to be smiled at you before placing a tender kiss on your lips. As he kissed you, you pulled him into a tight embrace.
As good as his touch felt, you could help to also feel repulsed by it. Here Shoto was hugging and kissing you when he had no idea of the bombshell you were about to drop on him. Your stomach churned tightly as you thought of what you did with Dabi the other day, his touch still tainted your skin.
The guilt was becoming too much to bear. You needed to tell Shoto, and you needed to do it now.
"Hey Shoto, could we get out of here? I need us to be alone," you told him. His brows furrowed at you.
"I don't know about that (y/n). Doing that here is risky. Someone might see us. We could later when we get back-"
You cut him off knowing he had the wrong idea. "I don't mean like that. I need to talk to you about something private."
His face fell, and it made your heart sink. Shoto nodded at you and took your hand. The two of you snuck out of a back door and headed outside. Only a few hundred feet away were a couple of benches. After seeing the coast was clear, you two sat on the bench.
"Hey, you're not pregnant, are you?" Shoto asked abruptly. That was the first thing that popped into his head when you said you wanted to talk to him privately.
Your jaw dropped and you waved your hands around. "Oh God, no! Definitely not, that's not what I needed to tell you!" You said, followed by a nervous laugh. Although, being pregnant might be better than this whole situation you had yourself in.
"Okay, good. Then what was it you had to tell me?"
You took a deep breath before grabbing his hand. You looked at him with a serious expression. Shoto felt his stomach tighten. He was already not liking where this was going.
"Listen Shoto, arranged marriage or not, I want to go into this relationship with honesty. I've been keeping some things from you, and I can't hide them anymore."
Shoto exhaled loudly and fidgeted around in his seat. You watched him intently. He gave you a nod of approval to keep going.
"There- there has been someone else in my life. I've been sleeping with this person for a few months now.
It started before I officially met you,but it has been continuing for quite some time now."
Shoto pinched his lips together before dropping his head. You gently squeezed his hands as you waited for his reaction. Your legs were shaking uncontrollably when you saw the young hero lift his head back up to look at you.
"It's alright, I forgive you."
You blinked several times at him. "Wait- you what?"
"You met him before you even met me. It is an arranged marriage after all. It's not like you were cheating on me."
You could cry right now. You truly did not deserve this boy. Shoto was playing it off like it was no big deal, but he was crumbling on the inside. Hearing you've been intimate with someone else broke his heart, but he had to take it with a grain of salt. He was no angel either.
"I'm not done confessing, Shoto. It's who you hear it's been with is what might upset you."
He remained silent. Shoto felt as if he was about to vomit. A large part of him didn't want to know who it had been with. God, he didn't want to hear any more!
"Shoto, I've been sleeping with Dabi.... from the league of villains."
"........."
Shoto pulled his hand from yours and jumped from the bench. He massaged his temples as he paced back and forth. The tears started to pour down your face as you watched him fall apart. This was too much for him. He knew he wasn't perfect, but it's not like he fucked Toga! You were full on getting dicked down by someone who tried to attack his livelihood multiple times.
"I'm so sorry!" You sobbed. Shoto looked at you with glassy eyes.
"(Y/N, this is really bad. I could understand sleeping with someone else, but a villain! A member of the league?! Do you know how much of a bind this could put me in?"
"I broke it off with him, Shoto. He and I are no longer sleeping together, I promise!"
The dual quirk user sat down next to you. Desperately he tried to calm himself down, but this was too much. Everything was starting to make sense now. No wonder why Dabi was so interested in his relationship with you. He knew the whole fucking time and he was toying with him. Fuck that burned asshole!
Shoto took a few moments to collect himself. This was definitely going to take some time to get over. He looked over at you. Your mascara was running down your face from crying so much. You had come clean, so now it looked like it was his turn.
"I guess I haven't been very forthcoming either," Shoto said as he looked deep into your soul. You already knew what it was he was referring to.
"Remember when I didn't pick up my phone that night? I told you I got drunk and fell asleep in Midoriya's dorm?" You nodded to him. "I lied. I was really at some shady bar. I met this girl there, and well.... we almost kissed."
You debated if you should tell Shoto you knew about this already. In the end you decided on keeping it to yourself.
"I actually ran into Dabi that night, too. He was the one who took me to his apartment. If it weren't for him things might have went further between me and that girl. I'm sorry, (y/n)."
"I forgive you," you told him. Shoto let out a sigh.
"I guess we both need to be better."
You pulled each other into a tight embrace. Both of you decided to forgive and forget your infidelities. After a long crying/make out session, you two snuck back inside the ball room and pretend as if nothing happened.
To you and Shoto, everything would be alright. You confessed to each other, and now you could move on with your lives. Unbeknownst to you two, the other piece of the puzzle was spiraling out of control. The dildo of consequences doesn't come lubed, and you two were about to find out just how fucked you really were.
