Chapter Text

Discovering the second gender was always chaotic in the Hargreeves household.

Luther remembered very clearly How he discovered his. It was on a mission and it was obvious that he is Alpha. With all his need to be a leader and protective nature.he was the first one to present which Diego of course turned it into a competition too.

So the following week Diego presented as an Alpha too. The smirk on his face made Luther rolls his eyes. They clashed almost on everything and with them being both alphas The rest of the siblings has to separate them more then once.their Dad will only glare and tells them to be more logical. 

It was a surprise that Klaus was presented as Alpha too. The boy have no controlling bone in his body. Always putting makeup and stealing Allison's clothes. The least he could be is a Beta if not Omega but that's not what it seems. He was already letting Number one and two do the role of dominant alphas with him watching from the sideline.

Allison was the forth one.The girl despite her strong character and high charisma she presented as Omega. Well.. She was the peace maker most of the times. Stopping fights between the alphas and helping her other siblings.

Vanya was the real shock! She was quiet and soft spoken. Always avoiding the complications with her brothers. Standing too far and trying to be at her best behaviour. Exchanging words with Five and Ben only.turns out presenting as Alpha surprised her too.

With Five running away and Ben's death.the hargreeves never discovered their smallest brothers second gender. Ben was seventeen when he died and still not presented so either He was Beta or a late bloomer.

Five on the other hand was always giving the characteristics of Alpha. Confident,arrogant and quick thinker under the pressure.He was always focusing on the goal in his mind. The most common Alpha traits that the other four Alphas didn't have.

So with Four Alphas and one Omega..the Umbrella academy continued to be the most chaotic siblings out there.

After all the Ends of the world and the wracking of time.the sixties and it's problems.the hargreeves came back to their time.. Missing the loved ones but happy nonetheless.and after months they were a family again. A family who sits and eats together. Talking and apologising for the wrong doings.

With Luther more understanding than ever. Diego showing his soft heart after getting it layered with anger and cruelty. Allison trying So hard to be the mother that Claire deserved. Klaus abandoning his past life and changing his ways of dealing with his power. Ben getting back as a ghost..dead but present. And Viktor being more of the Alpha he was. The days looked brighter at the Academy.

Just like now.

Today was Friday which means the family is gathering to talk about the latest news. Sharing drinks and laughs. Memorising the childhood.. Mostly Klaus and his pranks. The hargreevs were getting along quite well.

"So where is Five?" Viktor asked. He is worried all the time about his youngest-oldest brother. Five never joined them in These gatherings always saying he had things to do. Always running away.

"I don't know.I saw him this morning drinking coffee but never saw him after that" Luther shrugged taking a sip from his glass.

"our little Alpha! Always running away" Klaus stretched his limbs.

"to think of it,has he presented yet?" Allison asked

"it's a bit of problem to imagine him other than Alpha. Little shit always the one to command us around" Diego rolled his eyes.

"Well, to be honest he does most of the work.. Saving us from death,dragging us through time. His poor old heart must be exhausted by now"

"did any one ask him? He sure won't tell us his second gender easily" Viktor stands up"I'm going to check on him"

"No, I will" Luther said waving his hand to Viktor to sit back"I'm more likely to endure his attacks if he was startled"heading to the stairs with Klaus and Diego signalling to him a death expressions.

Five's room was the farthest. So he passed their old rooms which they are not sleeping in it anymore..him.,Klaus and Five are the only ones still living here and he's already trying to find a house. Klaus bought one but for some reason he never moved out.all of them agreed to keep the academy for Grace to live in since Five fixed her. Bogo was travelling around the world..and he is not about to ask how the talking monkey managed that.

Standing in front of Five's door he took a long breath and knocked it softly. No answer.. This was expected since Five has the tendency to ignore them most of the times. He knocked again and the fact that no scream to Fuck off came worried him. After the third knock and no answer he opened the door.

The room was Dark and freezing. He was about to turn around and leave confirming that Five is actually out when he Saw a little movement on the bed.. The covers falling down while the body turns.

He came Closer Barely seeing in the dark. Luther bent down by the bed seeing that Five is sleeping. Curled up and making himself smaller if possible. He picked up the covers smiling about the memory of Diego saying that Five was adorable in his sleep.

He is.

Five was the grumpiest old man he ever known and that includes their father. But his insistent on having them all well and alive is admired. He maybe doesn't act as the most loving and understanding being but his actions are enough of proof.

Luther covered him gently. And headed to the door intends on letting Five takes all the rest he needs but for such a giant man he was clumsy most of the times and he stumbled on thin air catching himself on the desk and knocking an empty glass down.

The shattered glass made a loud noise in the silent room.luther's eyes went instantly to the bed seeing that Five still asleep. Letting a sigh of relief he got on one knee to collect the broken glass. The night lamp by the bed flickered drowning the room in the soft light.

"Luther?"

Being startled By his brother awakening. He clenched the shreds of glass hard cutting his hand. Not very deep but the blood was seeping slightly. He was a little afraid to face Five. The man had dominant attitude that made them speechless most of the times. 

"What are you doing in my room?" Five got up. Walking to him. God, How will Luther explain His clumsy actions?

"I came to check on you" he answered turning his body to look at Five.the other was wearing one of klaus's hoodies which the man bought but never wears. It was making him tinier with the sleeves being folded to reach his wrists.

"and why are you on the ground?"

"I knocked the glass" he said showing the broken glass in his hands to Five who frowned catching it.

"Shit Luther"

"I'm sorry.. Didn't mean to-"

"get up"

"I will just collect the rest-"

"Let the fucking glass go and get up" Five said while pulling him. Luther did that expecting to be thrwon out of the room but he was pulled out of the room to the nearest bathroom. 

Five dragged him to the sink and opened water on his injured hand, cleaning the wound Carfully until all the blood were washed away and then he made Luther sit on the closed toilet seat. He moved to the bathroom cabinet grabbing the first aid kit. 

Five stands in front of Luther and holds his hand looking at the wound for any remaining glass. Satisfied that there's none he put on antibiotic ointment and then rolled the gauze around Luther's hand.

"you assholes never know how to act like adults" despite the cutting words. His hands were gentle. Luther took his brother apparence again. His hair was disheveled from sleep and it was funny how they were on eye level when one sitting and the other standing.

"I didn't mean to disturb your sleep"

"well you did. And I will appreciate it more if you don't bleed in my room"

"I tried to-"

"I know Luther. And I don't Fucking care about the glass or the sleep" Five looked at his eyes holding the gauze with paper tape"I care about you.. And I have enough pictures of you bleeding. Hurting and dying to last me for a lifetime so please.. Refrain from doing any of that"

He patted Luther's head like one will do with a kid.

And Luther's actually felt good. Knowing that Five is Not angry but worried. Like any old man will do with his kids and that brings a wild thought.

What if Five was an Omega?

They are known to be mother hens whatever the first gender is.

"Five, what's your-"

"he is alive!" Diego voice came from the door"we were afraid the little maniac was killing you" he was peeking with Klaus standing behind him.

Five crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the younger - in mind- men. Klaus was disappointed since he betted ten dollars that Five was already cutting Luther to pieces.

The three of them ended thrown out. But Luther did catch the hint of smile on his older brother face.

The question could wait for another time.

Claire is coming today. 

Allison almost cried in happiness.her little angel is finally coming to spend some time with the family. She woke up early to prepare the  room for Claire which was her childhood room. Making lunch. Pick up some clothes for her brothers(No Five, the uniform is Not a comfortable Clothes).

The Omega was running around the house.trying to make it more of home and less of childhood nightmare.at 10 o'clock the house was more homey and less gloomy. The Windows were opened. The smell of the food was delicious and her little family are sitting in the living room while she walks in circles around them.

"Allison, why don't you sit down and take some deep breath?" Klaus suggested.his smile is one to comfort but to her it made her anxiousness levels up.

"Do you think that she will like it here?" Allison was compelled to bite her nails but Viktor catches her hands before any of the fingers reach her mouth.

"she will love it" Viktor gave her her a wide smile"it's where her mother is."

She returns the gesture.taking long look at her family. Diego was wearing a deep green shirt with a presentable pants. Luther in one of his oversized coats trying to make himself smaller. Klaus in his weird fashioned  clothes and Viktor in his regular ones.

Five was scowling and looking at the wall. He was wearing one of Alison white shirts and one of Viktor pants. Claiming that he didn't want to stink his body with the other Alphas smell.he only tolerates Viktor because his Scent is faint. If Allison was being honest. Five looked cute. Her shirt is a little big on him and his hair was brushed to the side.

Much like a kid throwing a tantrum.

The bell rings and she rushed to open the door. On the other side was Patrick holding Claire hand.The little girl dragging a pink small suitcase behind her and she jumped in her mother's arms. Both of them hugging tightly.

"I'm missed you mommy"

"I'm missed you too baby"

"Hi Allison" Patrick said nervously watching his ex wife surrounded with Alphas"I will be coming this Wednesday to pick Claire up"

"thank you" Allison said. They exchanged goodbyes And Patrick left. Allison closed the door putting Claire down "let me introduce you to your uncles"

Claire glued her self to her mother's legs while glancing at her uncles "This is Luther" the omega pointed to the large Alpha. He smiled gently and extended his hand but she shys away behind her mother. Luther face reddened and he backed away.

"this is Diego"he waved at Claire noticing her uncomfortable stare and maybe that was because of their auras. He didn't want to Scare her So he didn't came closer.

"Klaus" the Alpha lunged to hug her but a hand catches him from the back.

"Let go Diego" he grumbled "I want to hug my little lovely niece"

"We Don't want to Scare her" Diego murmured and he let go of the other Alpha.

"Fine" Klaus rolled his eyes "Nice to meet you Claire bear" he sends her a flying kiss and she laughed. 

"here is uncle Viktor" Allison pointed to the smallest Alpha.Claire Smiled at him. Viktor is one who intricate with kids the most because of his violin lessons So he knows when to stop overwhelming them with his scent.

"Nice to meet you" Viktor said softly.

"And this is uncle Five" he was standing away. Fidgeting with the ends of the shirt and looking a step away from blinking out.he sighed and turns to go.

"Hello"

All the eyes turned to the little girl. She took small steps towards the teenager who was freezing completely looking at Allison for help and she signs to him to calm down.

"you must be lonely" Claire stands in front of him and holds up her small hand "can we be friends?" her smile was so wide.

"Why?"

Every other hargreeves slapped their faces. Claire picked the most difficult uncle to be friendly with!

"because I'm lonely too"and that broke Allison heart. 

Five catches her hand in his"okay"he agreed and for the first time his siblings Saw a genuine smile adoring his face. With dimples too! 

Allison would like to say that her daughter was getting on well with her uncles but she spent the day talking only to Five asking him all kind of questions and he answered with much patience that the omega found it amusing.she even forced him to play hide and seek with her.

Imagine that! Five who never took their opinions on anything and treats them like kids is doing what he Can to please the Six years old girl.

"Do you like your uncles?" she asked her daughter when they were getting ready for bed. The girl smiled and nodded with enthusiasm "great"

"I like uncle Five" Claire said using her fingers as reference to his name"he knows many things about the world and he is very good at hide and seek.he promised to watch a movie with me tomorrow"

"What makes you like him this much?" she is not complaining but the way Claire gravitated towards him was weird.

"he smells nice" Claire thinks for seconds"Like you"

"Like me?"

"yeah, he smells like you mommy. Safe and nice"

Allison frowned. What does that mean? It took her a minute of to remember that Five was wearing her shirt. That was maybe the reason.

The next morning Allison wakes up and left the bed quietly. She didn't want to wake her daughter. She goes downstairs to prepare some pancakes for Claire since it was her favourite breakfast.

Five was there. Eyes on the coffee machine. Barely functional and In his sleeping clothes. She promised her self to take him shopping as soon as she can.

"good morning"

His eyes moved slowly and he nodded to her as acknowledgment. She walked Closer trying to catch any scent. To find out if hers was still on him.Standing behind Five and putting a hand on his shoulder.

"What are you doing?" he tried to get away quickly and she let him. Reaching her hand to the flour on the top shelve.

"making pancakes" his scent was normal. Not presenting yet.

"don't do that again"Five grabbed the cup and stalked away. 

Claire wouldn't have any reason to cling to him today.

"uncle Five!"

Or maybe she would.

Allison peeked her head to the living room. seeing Five standing with his cup of coffee watching Claire. The little girl was talking about a beautiful dream.she met Klaus's eyes.. Who was coming down the stairs and both of them smiled.

" good morning my darlings" Klaus his announce his presence loudly. Jumping a few steps to stand by his brother and niece "Clairementy is lively this morning" he bent down to her eye level.

"good morning uncle Klaus" she smiled widely. 

"my heart" Klaus put his hands on his heart "so cute"

"what movie are we watching?" she turned to Five again. He was startled to see her big innocent eyes on him. What does he know about movies? He promised her to watch one because he thought she will warm up to the others and let him be.

"I.. I don't -"

"you Can pick anything you like, Five is a fan of disneys" Klaus saved him.

"really?! Is that true?! Which one do you like?"

"the princess and frog" Allison said this time.

Claire gasped "that's my favourite, we will have so much Fun"

Five looked to Klaus then Allison and lastly at Claire "Okay"

This must be the only word he will say from now on.

Claire did warm up to the rest, she let Luther put her on his shoulders and walk around the house, the happiness on his face was priceless.

Diego brought her favourite candies. The good girl she was share it with everyone and listen to Diego telling her stories about the missions that Allison couldn't tell her.

Klaus was having the joy of his life letting the girl choose his outfits. Saying she has a vision for Fashion. They matched weird fabrics and weirder colors and still fits the Alpha so good.

Viktor helped her with her coloring books.he is good with kids. Being a caretaker for Harlan guided him to gain the love of the kids. The Alpha was second favourite to the little girl.

To the surprise of everyone but mostly Allison. Claire clings to Five more. She will lost her only to find the two doing something together. Five acts more like a Grandpa than a kid. Or is he acting more like the Kid he denies to be?

"what are you reading?" 

" a physics book."

"is it interesting? Can you read to me? "

"it will bore you, you better go play a game with the others"

"I want you to read to me"

"but-"

"please?"

There was a long pause and then a soft"fine"

All of them were standing out the Acadmy library. Listening to Five and Claire. They Can hear his voice talking about equations and Claire humming. 

"did any of us see that coming?" Diego leaned on the wall and crossed his arms. 

"Is it weird?" Viktor frowned"Five was always nice to me when we were kids"

"and he was dick to the rest" 

"Objection" Klaus said holding his hand up. 

"On what?" 

"the objection is not mine, it's Ben's" 

"and what is he objecting on?" Luther said tilting his head. 

"on Five being a dick.. He was always looking after us but he acts that he don't. And since you were very much set on your Alphas st-are you sure you want me to say that?" Klaus stared to the side. Probably where Ben is standing. 

"what is he saying?" Viktor asked

"you're not the one to deal with them because oh yes. You are very much dead" 

"Klaus!" all the Hargreeves said together. 

"because you were set on your Alphas stupidity and ignoring that you were being played by the mind games of Dad, happy?" 

"Did Ben told you that?" 

"are you Fucking kidding?" 

"Klaus!" 

On the last day with Claire. Allison found her brother sleeping on the couch in the living room. Five was likely passed out. He was not sleeping good in the night and Claire taking almost all his time in the day. His sleeping schedule was messed up.

"his neck gonna ache like hell" Diego spent the last night here and so did Viktor.the Alpha was going out when he Saw Allison and Five. 

"we Can't risk waking him" she said in a hushed voice "He will kill us by his grumpiness"

"bring a pillow"

The Omega brought a pillow from on of the rooms and Diego holds Five's head while she slipped the pillow under him.the congratuled themselves because he was still asleep. 

"It's cold.." Luther made both of them jump. "We should cover him." he was already holding a blanket.

She took the blanket and covered him with Care. And that when she stopped. A sweet scent was filling her senses.a calming one But goes as fast as it comes. That was odd..

Later that morning. She didn't find Claire in bed. She searched for her in all the rooms. A fear gripped her heart. Was She taken? She had a half mind to alert the family.

Allison passed the couch and then something cought her attention. Five is sleeping on his side. Hands around a little thing under the covers. She kneeled to pull the covers down and there she was. Claire was snuggling to Five who holds her.looking so Peaceful and cute. 

"I want a picture of this" Viktor cooed from where he was supporting his body on the back of the couch. He was in fact looking for Five too"Five is such a softy"

Softy?

Five had been soft all the week. No anger. No sarcastic words. No yelling or threatening. Was it because of Claire? 

What did she say again? He smells safe and nice? 

Wasn't this an Omega thing? 

She herself wasn't a fragile quiet Omega.why does Five have to be? He doesn't have to be an Alpha to be protective. Actually being protective of the pups is more of the Omega traits. 

"let's take a picture" 

She smiled while taking one. She Can ask Five later. He absolutely knows his secondary gender. He grow up once right? 

For now, Claire being on his list of the people to protect with his life is enough for Allison. He will never let any danger come her way. 

Chapter Text

Klaus's Clothes keeps disappearing. 

First, it was a jacket. He liked that one very much.It was warm and furry from the inside. Many pockets and the Color he loved.to be honest there wasn't many clothes that raise to his liking and he surely buys more than he wears just to waste the old man money as a sweet revenge.

Then, some shirts and hoodies. Sometimes socks.one or two of his favourite jumpers. His clothes kept missing and he wanted them back. Even if he didn't wear them all the time.

"Come one Benny. I know you know who keeps stealing from me. Is it Allison? I mean she is the only omega here" He was looking at the ghost with a pleading eyes.

"I didn't see anyone" Ben said with an innocent smile.

"You are a lying bitch. I can see it in your eyes"

"Look for your clothes on your own"And just like that. The ghost walked through the Wall.

Klaus stands there thinking for a minute. It can't be Luther because the Size is very much - much- different and he won't be cought dead in these colors. Diego is out too cause the man loved only Black and rarely the dark ones. The fabrics is not his thing either. 

Viktor is too small and he lived in his own apartment. That's getting him out. The fact that all the three of them also Alphas demolished any chance to accuse them because the scent of other Alpha on other one's clothes is so Annoying. 

And Five is not even in the list. 

The boy keeps complaining that their scent bothers him and he spend most of the time in his room.So Klaus had to watch them and discover the thief! 

The first suspect was Allison because the Omega always looking for comfort from the Alphas of the family but she never does that out of her heat time. he watched her making some healthy drink. 

"Hello Alli" He slide in the chair closer to her. 

"Klaus" 

"So how are you?" 

A confused expression clouded her face"What's this about? "

" Can't I ask about the well being of my favourite sister? "

" I'm your only sister"

"Favourite omega sibling?" 

"yet again, I'm the only omega" 

"is your heat near, sis" 

"No" Allison denied confidently "are you smelling any change?" she sniffed the sleeve of her dress. 

"It's not that" Klaus waved his gands"my clothes keeps disappearing and I thought you probably took them for your nest"

"I didn't" she drinks from the glass"Trust me Klaus..your clothes brings comfort in my heat. I won't wear these disasters you buy"

"ouch, you broke my heart" 

"you'll live" 

Sharing a laugh with Allison made him let this matter go. Maybe the clothes are being washed? Mom has the urge to wash every cloth out of the closet

It was a few days later when the hargreeves heard a loud scream from Klaus's room. Diego and Luther almost tumbled down the stairs to reach him. Only to Find Klaus upper body in the closet and a mountain of clothes in the Middle of his room. 

"what the Fuck Klaus?" Diego returns his knife in the harness. 

"Klaus?" 

"which one of you took my Cat ears shirt?" Klaus stands up. Fuming with anger"If you think this is funny it's not anymore "

" are you serious? "Diego rolled his eyes. 

"dead serious" 

"I don't know where your fucking shirt is but the next time you scream like that it's better be because there's a weapon pointed to your head" Diego left and Klaus screamed loudly just to piss the other Alpha more. 

"Klaus" 

"Luther.. I swear if you-" 

"I think I know who took your clothes" 

"Oh" his attention landed on Luther. Crossing his arms over his chest"tell me"

"you remember weeks ago when I hurt my hand in Five's room?" 

Klaus nodded. He lost a bet so of course he remembered. 

"Five was wearing one of your hoodies" 

"I don't recall that" 

"you were focused on winning the bet"Luther gave him a deadpanned look. Well, the giant man has a point.

"Are you Saying Five is stealing my clothes?" 

"Maybe? I'm not sure" 

"but he hates our scent. Barely tolerates being in the same room with us" 

"I told you what I saw" Luther left Klaus to his thoughts. 

"it doesn't make sense" he looked to Ben. 

The ghost was sitting on the bed "Why?" 

"It's just..this is Five we are talking about. The Little Alpha of our family.the-"

"the what?" 

"we don't know a simple information. We are the worst" 

"he didn't tell us" Ben told him in his voice that make anyone think less of themselves. 

"he wouldn't anyway.. The emotionally stunted man he is" 

Klaus had to wait for the day the Academy will be empty. Luther had to travel to London to finish some paperworks of their father. Diego, Viktor and Allison in their houses. 

In the late hours of the night he heard some movement downstairs. Walking slowly not to Alert the other person who still here. Five was sitting on the couch drinking from a bottle. Already finish half of it and for Klaus surprise he was wearing the shirt with Cat ears 

"Can't sleep?" 

Five chocked on the drink"Klaus"he whisper after a chronicles of coughs "You still here?" 

"Where would I be?" he raised an eyebrow sitting closely. 

Five shrugged taking another sip. Klaus is sure he is drunk. 

"not gonna share?" he tried to grab the bottle and Five swings it away 

"bring your own" 

"Why are you drinking?" he is done with playing the stupid one role"do you have a problem?because we will help you little bro"he got Closer. 

"not your little bro jerk" Five leaned on the couch arm hugging the bottle"and it's not a problem.. It's problems."he glanced at Klaus" I don't need your help. You are the ones who need mine"

"because you're the know it all of the family" Klaus rolled his eyes"also you continue to stuck in bad Situations and us with you so We Sure as hell need your help"

"Shut it, If any of you just let the go of the small things and looked to the big picture-" 

"and what is the big picture.?"all the usual Softness In his voice are gone. He for once wanted his brother to respect him. To aknowledge that Klaus is like the rest. Alpha even if he didn't act like it. His scent must have sharpened because Five backed away.

Something was written on Five's face. And Klaus took time to recognises it. As much as Five was good in hiding his emotions. He slipped once in while and that made Klaus calms instantly.

Five was panicking. Hands clasped tightly that his fingers are whitening around the bottle. Klaus let out a deep breath.. Allison always told him that his scent was comfortable. Closer to omegas but with the sharpness of Alphas.

" I didn't mean to scare you" 

"It's fine, your scent Never scares me" Five relaxed Slowly. 

"is that why you stole my clothes?" Ben glared at him from the corner and Five didn't move for a minute "I only need to know why" 

"I've told many times how I keep Watching you die"Five closed his eyes" but the first time will always be the hardest. It's been only hours when we were sharing a meal and the next I saw the grow up versions of you dying with the whole world" looking down to his body"I was a child,arrogant. Proud but a child "

" Five"the Alpha put his hand on Five's leg"you saved us.you are with us now so please.. "

"It was horrible Klaus. Sometime I look and see the dead version of you accusing me of being the reason you're dead. Your alive now but there will be always a dead copies of you and it will be my fault" 

"No it's not" Klaus didn't like the confidence In that sentence. 

"I stole your jacket Klaus.. I took it from your dead body and still. It made me feel Safe like you're there with me" Five was lost again and the bottle fell down.The wine spill All over the white rug. Reginald is absolutely frowning at them from the afterlife. 

Klaus warped his arms around the small body"it's Okay now"he repeated time after time"I didn't need it anyway "

" I'm sorry"Five said with regret"your scent was the only comfort I had Klaus and I sometimes find my self seeking it"

"It's Fine.. I'm happy. I thought you hated our scent.. Stinky Alphas you said" he backed a little to stare at Five and give him a shaky laugh. 

Five's hands catches Klaus forearms"I lied"He leaned his head on Klaus's chest and took a long breath" forty five years and all the terrible smells didn't effect yours"

"Fivey.. You're making me emotional" he warped his arms and squeezed his older brother harder"just so you know I'm ugly when I cry "

" I missed you"there was a pause. Like he is looking for the words"I didn't want to let you go.and I couldn't even If I wanted.. Will you forgive me? "

" don't do this Fiver. I prefer you when you are insulting us and telling us what a group of useless fools we are"A tear fell from his eye. 

Five laughed softly. Shaking slightly in Klaus arms"Can we stay like this? "

" Sure, If you promised me you won't Kill me when you sober up "

" No promises "Five mumbled. Leaning on Klaus more.They didn't Sleep. Cuddling together.

Ben Sat on the other Side of Five. He met Klaus's eyes and the other man smiled "Do you want to meet the person you missed the most?" he asked Five who seemed lost for a second and then his eyes widened.

"Ben"

Klaus hands shines with the blue colour of his powers. Five turned when a hand landed on his shoulder. Sitting on his other side was Ben. Older than he remembered and younger than the others. Smiling in the way that used to make Five lose the discussion.

"hey Five"

"Ben" he couldn't say other words. His hands moved to Ben's cheeks and he stared at him. Not believing that his brother is in front of him.Ben hands covered his and the ghost leaned Closer. Their foreheads touching.

"It's been So long" Ben murmured. Five's eyes was getting teary. 

"I wasn't there for you, it was my fault.. If only-"

"none of That" Ben cut his guilty speech "you were having your own problems to deal with. Just so you know I've never blamed you. Never will" they hugged each other with Klaus joining the Hug forcefully.

Klaus doesn't complain about missing clothes again. On the Contrary he looked happy when he doesn't Find the clothes he bought recently. Everyone didn't pay attention to this change until they Saw Five wearing a colorful hoodie with anime drawings. 

The older brother didn't even spare them a glance before he fell by Klaus side and buried his face in his neck. Even Diego dropped his knife that he was swinging in the air.

"Oh my God"

"when this change happened?"

"how did you tamed the deadly assassin?"

Klaus ignored the rest to pull his brother closer. Five was more clingy and distressed these days. Most likely his secondary gender is showing soon. And he got an Idea about what it will be.

It's weird to think that his most controlling and composed brother could be Omega. But really.. Five's Control come from his caring. And he was already a force of nature and breaker of all the time rules. Is not like being an Omega will make less of the older brother he is. 

For now, he will sit here and let Five take all the comfort he wants. It's not like he have other things to do. He shared a smile with Ben who raised his thumb. 

With The voices of his siblings in the background. Klaus felt the life could be better.

Diego couldn't be happier.

When they first got back he was shocked to know that Eudora was alive. He cried while hugging her for almost fifteen minutes. She was confused by his actions.for weeks he watched over her and almost begged her to take him back.

It was hard to convince the wonderful omega but She eventually took pity on him and agreed to date him again But on slow pace. Now, things were going great.. He still patrolling the streets and saving people. He got his girl back knowing she was his true love. His family is complete - even if Ben was a ghost - and they are communicating better then Ever. 

And then Five goes missing. 

The first day everyone thought he was taking a day off from them. He was stressed all the time. Sometimes blowing at them with Sarcastic words and insults and the next hour he apologised quietly.as much as he likes to thinks that Five is in one of his grandpa's moods. It's Not. 

He once cought him crying silently in the kitchen while making Coffee. It was four in the morning and Diego was So sure it was a dream. Because he was a second away from holding his brother's scrawny form and asks him who the hell made him Cry. But No.. This was Five. Badass. Time travelling assassin Five. 

It is a dream. 

And then the boy went missing.it was Viktor who noticed first but Klaus is the first to take actions on this worrisome disappearance. Klaus searched the whole Academy and He asked Ben to look for him in the closest library because Five had the habit of losing himself in a good book.They didn't find him. 

Three days later and none of them was sleeping or eating properly. Exchanging calls and messages through the day.he was afraid that his brother was kidnapped. A lot of people wanted him dead. The next thought was he's hiding but what makes the mighty Five hargreeves hides?

Diego drives his Car in the streets. Eyes ready to catch any glimpse of his oldest brother. His phone rang startling him. Luther was the Caller. He didn't waste time to answer. 

"did you find him?" there was desperation in his voise.fuck  This will be embarrassing if Five was listening. 

"No, but you need to come. There's someone who wants to meet you" 

Luther hangs up after these short words. He didn't give any information on the person who wants to meet him. It was Surprising how their number one was the most effected by Five's disappearance.but from the tales about the sixties it seems that a lot of understanding happened between these two. 

When Diego reached his childhood home. He didn't expect to see all of his siblings in alarming stances. Herb Sat on the the couch - Five's couch- looking nervous under all the watchful eyes and stifling scents of the Hargreeves. 

"Herb" 

"Mr. Diego.." the short man stands up. Relieved by seeing the former agent. 

"What are you doing here?" Diego didn't really have the patience to sit and catch up with Herb. The last time he Saw him was in the sixities when he told them he took over the commission. 

"well.It's about.. "he pulled his collar to breath" it's very hard to deliver the news" he looked at every single one of them"Mr. Five went on a mission for us"

"What mission?" Klaus crossed his arms.

"a mission to save Lila pitts " 

"WHO?" they all screamed at the same time. 

"Lila.. The adopt-" 

"We know who Lila is." Allison narrowed her eyes"She tried to kill us.. Tried to kill Five so why he went on a mission to save her? "

" you see, all the agents we sent has disappeared and their briefcases were destroyed. Lila has been working on to locate a people hidden by the handler as it was written in her notes.a week ago she sent us a message Saying She found the group but after that we lost contact with her"

"Lila is working with you again?" Diego murmured. He won't deny that he has a soft spot for her. Maybe had a Crush on her for some time. Knowing that she was in danger wasn't helpful. 

"and what does Five have to do with that?" Viktor's power was acting up. The glasses shaking slightly. 

"as you know.. Mr. Five is our best agant. He is the assassin number one in the commission with the most amazing reco-" he stops when they glowered at him. The siblings didn't want to hear him fanboying right now"So we made deal but we also lost contact with him."

" a deal? What kind of deal?" 

" save Lila if possible. Arrest the responsible ones. He agreed in exchange for something" 

"and what is that?" 

"he won't be happy if I told you" 

"Herb" Diego didn't even need to use the alpha voice. A little raise in the tune will make the beta spill his guts.he was spineless like that. 

"his videos.. There is many records of him in the apocalypse. It's in our archive room and he wanted them back" 

Why Five would want these? He despises his time in the apocalypse. Despises the person it makes him. Why would he want it? 

"tell me that you are here to give us a chance to Save our brother" Luther talks after long silence. 

"it's exactly why I came to you" his smile was strained."as much as Mr. Five won't agree with involving his family. You are the only ones who Can save him..so we are sending you to the same location we got before they disappeared " 

"but.. What if they were in other times?" 

"our briefcases had a trackers inside. And we didn't get any warning about any illegal time travel. So it's obvious that they weren't used" 

"So what are we waiting for? Let's go save our little adorable grandpa" Klaus clapped his hands loudly. Everyone agreed with him. 

Lila didn't like this. She is So going to quit after she escapes from here. What was she thinking? Working for the commission again? But really. This place is the only familiar home she knows. In addition to that she didn't want some Assholes to bring the bitch back. 

The only mother she knows. Used her and killed her when she was getting in the way if not for the massive jerk who reversed everything and brought them back to life. It's not like he done that for her. He did it to Save his family.. The family Lila was invited to be one of them but she panicked and ran away. 

It's been days. They let her out once a day to go to the bathroom.she counts three  of them and there was possibility for more.she could feel their powers under her skin but the handcuffs were blocking hers. 

And the shits gave her a bottle of water and a piece of toast as meal for the day. 

"hey.. Shitty heads.Why don't we chat a little?" she yelled and heard a groan by her side. It just happened that the massive jerk was sharing the same room as her.he was dumped here this morning. Beaten and battered. 

"could you lower your fucking voice?" he mumbled. Trying to lift his head and succeeding on leaning it against the wall. There was blood on the side of his face. a concussion for sure. 

"Sorry.. Did you want me to give you a massage? Sing a lullaby for you? Or maybe warm your milk?" he sarcastic words were met with sigh. 

"just stop talking" 

"sure, I can do that" she smiled sweetly and then starts singing horribly. Raising her voice louder. He sighed and did nothing more"What are you doing here anyway?! "

" saving you"

"good job you're doing. Why?" he frowned at her one word question" Why are you trying to save me? "she repeated when he didn't seem to understand her. 

" I made a deal"

"it's always about deals. Isn't it? A deal to kill and a deal to save. The only thing that you don't eccepts any deals for is your family" she spat the last word in venomous way. Like she was tainting him. 

"right" 

Lila was angry and Five was not biting back. He was quiet and distant. The room was blocking their powers So no going out with using his. It was the handler work.the situation was getting to her head and the only way she knows on how to deal with problems is getting angry. Just like the man besides her. 

"So, you won't kill me like you did with my family?" 

"No" 

"come on man. A little emotions won't hurt your ego.I would believe you if there was some regret in your eyes" 

"I'm tired" he said while laying on the ground. His hair almost touching her thigh. Five curled his body and closed his eyes.he wasn't handcuffed to the wall like one of her hands was. His hands were tied with a rope.

"you don't have a plan. Do you?are you kidding me?" 

What kind of fool jump into this trap without a plan?But Five isn't like that. He always has a solution at the palm of his hand. Always ready to form a paln B or C or anything to achieve what he wants. But now he seemed vulnerable and helpless.

"Five?"

There was something telling her to go easy on him. To be more gentle and she crushed that thing. He was a murderer. A killer who didn't have mercy on anyone.

"Five!"

It was strange.these people have some kind of strength to Catch not one but Two of the most powerful assassins and owners of superpowers.and she yet to know why they kept them alive.. And why Five didn't scattered their brains. 

"I need to sleep Delores" he whispered but the room was so quiet that his whispers echos.

"I'm not your imaginary girlfriend you freak"

"don't say that. You're the only person I had" he turned on his back and looked at the ceiling. So lost.. The concussion made it hard for him to recognize what's real and what's not.

"God, the shit I put up with" Lila rolled her eyes and shook him in a harsh movement but he didn't move only moans painfully"Get up.you need to get out"

"but I can't. It's been years and nothing is.. No.. My.." he was looking for the right word which didn't come for him"No use"

"sorry to tell you. It's been only days."

"No, years.. I'm sure" he argued.

"your old age is catching on with you"

"So mean"

Is he really annoyed with her words? And not throwing one of his own sarcastic replies.What was different about him? He is not the same person she met months ago.. Was he brain damaged? 

"you think this mean? Wait for what I will do as soon as these cuffs go"

"do you know where is my family?"his voice was so weak. Like he knows ir was futile.she wanted to hurt him and let him feel the pain he caused her.wanted him to burn the same way. 

" they are dead"it didn't give her any satisfaction. She continued anyway"they died because of you"

A broken laugh spilled from his mouth which turns to a painful gasps"it is true, you always said it's not my fault.. But it's true"

"you are the sole reason for all the mistakes. if you only stayed there. If you just killed your self. I would have my family" a few tears ran down on her cheeks. Mourning the father and the mother she can't remember but knows they were good people"I would've been happy"

A back of a hand touchs her cheek gently. she flinched hard"Are you hurt? "Five asked with hesitation. He dragged his hands away. How can a hand capable of such gentle touch is the same to kill people effortlessly?

" it's hard to hate you.. When you act like a kid"she shakes her head. This is not a normal kid.behind this innocent face there is a man who could burn the world down and revived it again if he wants.

She ignored his the concern on his face. She ignored the voice that screams at her to leave him be.and wrapped her free hand around his neck. Five didn't even move to get away. Only closing his eyes and relaxing more. 

She only need to squeeze harder and everything will be fine. 

"do you feel the creepiness of this place? "Allison take a look around. 

Diego handed the briefcase to Luther.the large Alpha will keep it safe until they find Five.The year was 199‪81in Russia. The location was Some abandoned prison. Everything was covered in Snow..The place was old and works as a set for a horror movie.

"I should've brought a jacket" Klaus grumbled hugging himself.

"come on.."

They enters the place and it was suspicious how easy it was"should we split? " Viktor suggested.

" No, we are stronger together. We don't even know what the enemy is capable of" Diego felt the similarity between this situation and what happened in Harold Jenkins's attic. He hopes that Five is fine this time.

"Ben is going to be mad" Klaus rolled his eyes. It turns out that only Five's power could let the ghost time travels with them. Not same thing with the briefcases.

"I hear sounds" Viktor raised his hand to silence the others.

"is it Five?"Luther asked hopefully.

" No"Viktor turns his body to the left Direction. Seeing things in the Dark "get down!"he yelled. All of them crouched down. 

" Are these crows? "Allison said with hands above her head.

" what the Fuck? "

"oh, look what we have here?" a woman was walking in slow steps towards them. The crows surrounded her immediately.she wears black sunglasses and long black coat. 

"who are you?" Luther said standing up.

"Someone who hates your fucking guts" she smiled petting one of the crows.

"well. Shit luck lady.. Hating us is not something you spacial at" Diego ended his words with a knife thrown her way but it was stopped middle air. Turns around and thrown back at them.Diego changed the direction to plant it in the wall.that was unsettling. 

"that is not a way to treat a lady" a blonde woman came in the view."I expected better from Reginald Hargreeves 's children"

"you shouldn't expect more than a group of savages" a black man stands behind the siblings.

"Can we just kill them?! Dramatic speeches are the reason our mother is dead" the brunette girl waved at them. Beside her stands a boy with ugly face.

"your mother?" Klaus looked at their faces"either you are adopted like us or your mother is one hell of a wild woman"

"finish them" the order came from the black man. 

Luther was flaying across the space with a punch to the cheek. Viktor and the blondie having a fight of telekinesis. Allison and the ugly one were already engaged in a fist fighting. And Klaus ran around with the crows following him. 

"going somewhere handsome?" the brunette smiled at Diego and then start spitting. He barely avoid the black drops..shit ,why was her power so disgusting? 

"If you spit on me I'm going to cut your fucking tongue" 

"I like to see you try" 

"I heard a rumor that you are freezing in your place" 

Allison yelled with rage.There was large bruise on her face And she was standing awkwardly. The ugly one was frozen in front of her. She Came Closer to Diego.

"go look for Five.. Leave these clowns to us" her eyes didn't move from the spitting woman. The Umbrella's omega was angry.. Diego was sure these fuckers wouldn't know what hit them. 

"be carful" he put his hand on her shoulder and went on his way. 

Lila was breathing heavily. Her hand shaking around Five's neck. She let out a frustrated scream"you should die.. You.. You "and yet she couldn't put pressure in her hold"get up"she shook him harder and he opened his eyes Slowly.Lila grabbed the bottle of water and open it with her free hand. 

" what? "it was barely above a whisper. 

" you need to drink some water.you look like corpse"she let a few drop on his lips. And then helped him drink a little"As soon as you become the criminal I know.I'm going to kill you"She promised. 

As an Alpha raised by the handler. She was tought from a young age to let her present conquers the room.Lila was forced to hide her secondary gender just to get closer to Diego and she was trained to differentiates between the scents. 

And right now there was a sweet Scent filling her nose. She looked around first wondering from where it was coming. And then She looked at the boy"you are an.. But you..what the Fuck?! "okay, now she understands the obsession of the handler with this boy.but what the actual Fuck?!! 

SHIT,it was hard for an Alpha to ignore the discomfort of an Omega. 

" I'm still on my words little shit"she threatened while Pushing his hair from his face. She tried to calm her self as not to cause him more problems. He was suffocating with her powerful scent. 

" thank you "He breathed deeply. 

Huh, he was still awake. 

A noise was coming from the outside.Lila put her hand around him. She despised her self for feeling protective over this man but as the same time She wants to be the one who deafets him in a fight. So the ones who took them had to go through her first. 

The door opened loudly and Diego was holding a knife. The moment he catches them on the ground his eyes widened.quickly stepping to kneeling infron of them"Are you okay? "

Lila wanted to cry.she missed this idiot so much. 

"He has a concussion"she said moving her head towards the boy"and I'm sure he needs a medical Help. Diego looked torn between helping her or taking his brother. "give me one of your knifes. I can free my self"

He handed her the one he was holding and went to carry his brother. His hands under the body's back and knees"good to see you Lila"

"you too"

He stopped for a second. His nose catches the scent but he put it on hold. Was Lila an omega..?her scent is all over Five.he rests the boy's head on his shoulder and got out. 

Diego wanted to run but that was maybe worsening his brother condition. When he get back it was funny to see his family checking each other and enemies were scattered on the ground.

"Five!" Viktor came Closer. Checking the boy and gritting his teeth at the blood covering his face.

"we need to get him home" Allison holds the boy hand tightly. Luther took Five from Diego and Klaus was holding the briefcase.

"you go.. I will come later" he said backing away "I will stay until Herb comes and know some informations about those people"

"Are you sure?" Klaus asked as the family came Closer.

"yes"With a blue light his family disappeared.

"you still here?" he turned to Lila.Taking the girl in his arms and she did the same thing.

"I missed you"

"me too"

It was another ten minutes before Herb and his men appeared. The short man was holding a suitcase. He shakes hands with Diego and backed when Lila glared at him.

"This is Mr. Five's things" he said putting the suitcase near Diego "and miss Lila I'm happy that you are still alive"

"Who are these people?" Diego saw the agents handcuffing the superpowered people and carrying them out"are they like us? "

"yes, there was 43 child with superpowers. While your father bought you from your biological mothers. The handler collected her team by killing theirs"

"the handler is their mother?!"

"Why she never told me?" Lila was confused. The handler never mentioned others children.

"you weren't her only project.. As we got all the files she hides it came to our attention that you are the...."

"the.." she waved her hand for him to continue.

"the least favourite" he looked at her with sympathy "she was hoping that you and Mr. Five will kill each other" was her other children trying to grant her wish?were they counting on her to kill him? 

"sorry.. Are we getting over that the bitch was a female version of our dad?"

"that's why she was coming after Harlan?"Lila came to conclusion" he was a replacement for the failure"

"exactly"

"it's a relief to know that she didn't Saw me more than a project. Now I like to quit from the job. Also I want a briefcase to have a lifetime vecation"

"As long as you promise to not mess with time"

"Lila.." Diego catches her arm"I know you are hurting, you don't have to hide it"

"you don't know me well. Sweetheart"

"I do" he hugs her again while Herb leaves quietly. Lila was trying so hard not to cry. Why does these Assholes keeps making her emotional?! Her eyes teared and she fights to stop."you smell weird"

She laughed wholeheartedly "you know how to make a woman happy" she pulled her self from his embrace "it's been days.. These dimwits let me into the bathroom only to pee" and they watched her too. 

"No" he rolled his eyes"I don't mean that.. I mean your scent is not the same one on Five"

"I'm an alpha.. I honestly don't think I give the vibes of other gender" 

"but.. What?! Where.." 

"You are such a disaster family" she smiled "maybe I will take your offer one day" 

"I will be waiting" 

Diego sat tiredly on the seat beside Five's bed. The boy was sleeping soundly. All his wounds are cleaned and his head is wrapped. Mom was one of the best things that Reginald made. 

He leaned a little to hold his brother hand.there was a storm of thoughts in his head.Five is fine..they saved him this time and he will be demand if he let any one touch him again. 

If Five Was an omega Diego won't be able to let him out of his sight. His brother was a danger magnet in his good days. As much as Five was independent.. He didn't present with people around and got out of the apocalypse when he was an old man. He was oblivious in this matter. 

"Diego?" 

Five's fingers moved in his hand"I'm here bro"

"you're not dead?" his eyes were half lidded

"No, and neither are you" 

"great" he mumbled going back to sleep. 

It will be a war with his older brother. Five won't let him be overprotective.Diego will absolutely lose a limb but it was a risk he was ready to take.

He holds his hand until the first ray of sunshine.

Never let anyone fool you by saying a mother job is an easy one.

Grace for all what she was made for was the perfect mother.in addition to that she had Zero needs and that means all her days were dedicated to her children and their needs but sometime it's hard when you have a bunch of careless kids who put themselves in dangerous situations. All. The. Time.

Now, it's not like she has a blood pressure or heart attacks which is a good thing.Grace doesn't think that a normal mother will allow her children to go o missions and almost got killed - like once happened with Three- but she worries about them.

In any way a robot can worry.

Reginald hargreeves was not a father but a mentor and a guardian. So the weight of parenting was all on her shoulders and she tried to be a true mother by reading every parental book out there or watching Bogo behaviours with them.some of the kids liked her like three and four and loved her like two. still the rest of them were not comfortable in her presence.

Like one who thought he is not in need of a mother while his father is there.his relationship with her was that of a kid who thinks he is too old for a Nanny. What he doesn't understand is that she was there to stay whether he likes it or not.

Or six who is not comfortable with anyone. Always hiding somewhere and making the rest worry about him. They were only four when their powers started showing but six was missing for hours the day he discovered his powers. Grace and Bogo looked for the boy in the whole Academy

She found him later hiding in the garden outside crying silently and mumbling about the freaky thing in his torso. She carried him and took him to shower. Let him eat and then takes the boy to bed early. And that was a start for a chronicle of Ben disappearing and his siblings looking for him. That continues until he was seven and then Reginald Saw it as a childish thing and put Cameras to watch them all the time.

Seven was not Close to her either. She was made especially for this child. The kid was too powerful for her own good and killed three nannies before Grace was made.Reginald Saw her a threat but she Saw her as a child throwing tantrums about things she does not want. Then suddenly Seven Wasn't able to use her powers and Bogo's only explanation was "It's better this way Grace. Don't ask about things in this house"

She never asks again.

And lastly came Five who never calls her Mom.Never get closer to her and rolled his eyes every time she treats his wounds or scolds him for putting himself in the line for the others when he knew they can handle it.the boy was always ready to get in his father's face and irritates him until the man punishs him and let the others go.

He Saw himself as the protector of his family and he was only eight years old.

"Stop angring your father Five" she told him once while cleaning the cut on his eyebrow"you will gain nothing from disobeying him"he was punished to train all the afternoon until his power gave up on him and he fell from one of the portal on the old large vase hurting himself in the process.

"you're not my Mom"he replied looking at her in the eyes" and I will appreciate it If Reginald's spy doesn't act like she is"

He was cold and rude to her.

Yet.. He spends his free time with Seven and treats her like she is someone special.lending books for Six or jumping to the library to bring books for him. Steals some of three's nail polishes for Four and steals for three a new ones from the shop she likes.always stopping the fight between one and two by mocking them and let them united to beat him.. Which they never did

The eleventh birthday was special to the hargreeves. Not because they got to celebrate but because Reginald Saw it as the suitable age to start using the years of training.He sends them out to catch all kind of criminals while he watches from distance.it was also the age that got them names.. That too was done by her.

Grace tried to give them names that tied them to the original places they came from but of course Five was an exception. He didn't want a name.. Refusing to be called anything other than his number. His only words to her was "Don't bother.. I will not use it"and she fulfilled his wish. Like any mother who wants her child to make his own decisions. Maybe not at his age...but number Five was older In Mind than body.

Always was.

Number one got to be Luther. Two was happy with being Diego. Three felt the name Allison matches her character. Four wasn't so excited about the name Klaus.. But it's better than Number four. Five remains Five. Six was named Ben and he almost cried knowing why she choosed this name" you will never be a monster dear.. You will always belong to your family ".Grace knew that Reginald drilled this in Ben's mind.. But she was his mother and never saw him as anything but a son. Seven was Vanya.. The girl was happy to be included.Grace named her this because it was obvious her That Vanya was going to discover the meaning someday and hopefully.. Her true identity.

She did her part.. The rest was for them to do.

The umbrella Academy was a known heroes by the End of the year. That came with a cost.. There was always one of them in the infirmary. Some days more than one. She looked after them with utmost Care and help. Treating wounds and resetting bones even doing surgeries.Reginald didn't want anyone to put his hands on them.. For Scientific reasons.

Two years later.. Another Chaos started in the Academy. The secondary gender discovering. Maybe it was his build but Luther was the first to present..As an Alpha.Grace did have a base of informations about secondary genders and she already predicted his gender. It was on a mission and she had to go her self to pick him up since the others members were still busy with catching the thief.

Luther didn't give her much trouble.He Saw that her actions is reflection of their father.he listen to all the instructions and let her take Care of his every need.

She never guessed that jealousy could be a reason to present but that what happened with Diego.being an Alpha gave him a boost for his ego and a reason to bicker with Luther more than ever. He also was obedient to her and follow every word she said.

Klaus was a surprise for sure. She couldn't think of this son as an Alpha but he was.Reginald takes this a sign to torment the boy more.he left him in Mausoleum until the Morning. The boy was a crying mess when he got out.all she did was making him hot chocolate and buy him a furry pink scarf which she sneaks in one of her shopping bags. He deserved all the comfort she can't give him openly.

Allison was the first omega to present.Grace Also predicted the girl's second gender. Allison was charming and beautiful.she owns any place with her words and the media already put her as the face of the Umbrella Academy. As an omega it was her power the serves her the best and she was powerful. Grace had little to worry about.

Vanya was a shock to her siblings but not for her mom. She always gave the vipes of Alpha since her young age. Despite being quiet and self reserved there was a dangerous aura surrounding her. Like she was someone not to mess with. It's Cute really seeing Ben and Five protective over the Alpha. Like she was a helpless vulnerable person.

Vanya was not.

Five blinks tiredly.a briefcase hugged to his chest.. Looking like a small beaten kid. For the first time ever he gave her a hint of smile"glad to see you're fine Grace"the boy passed her to go up. She was enveloped in a tight hug by all of them at the same time.

Finally, Grace was complete again with all the missing pieces back. Only a piece will never be back and she will remember it for how many years she will be here.

To be clear, it was months since their return.. And her youngest - he tried to explain to her many times that he was the oldest..an Old man in fact- son has gone through some changes. "yeah well.. The Asshole doesn't like to show the others his injures, So tough" again rolled his eyes.. Taking a sip from his filled cup.

"don't forget" he blinks with a blue light leaving her alone. She will check on them and also.. Make sure there's always a pot of coffee ready.

Grace was watering the plants in the back garden"What was honey? "Five was standing by her side.. A frown painted on his young face.

It was worrying to see this small body have much bruises and wounds. The others took turns sitting and watching over him. One of them always in the room.. Five wakes up only to say a few words and than go back to sleep for longer.

"Is it normal?" Viktor said when she was changing the bandages of his bruised wrists"he never stay awake for long"

"honey. He is fine but it seems his tiredness is catching up to him"she finished patting the sleeping boy cheek with care.

"I thought he was doing good.that all the apocalypses problems are gone. . He never talks about anything but I should've pressed him to talk or at least be there for him"

A realization dawned on Viktor"it's his secondary gender. Right? " Five was weird all the time before the kidnapping"I don't remember that presenting was this hard"

Grace brought the glass of juice Closer"I'm sure you don't. But with you on bed rest I know the others will need babysitting.. The disasters they could cause"Five's eyes narrowed. He nodded. Grace could see how it was easy to manipulate this boy.. You should only put what matters to him in the conversation and he will be ready to do anything.

There is something burning. Grace opened her eyes looking around the room. As a robot made by the most paranoid man in the world. She has sensors for Danger.standing up and inspecting the house silently. Maybe there was someone here..? Or just Klaus having a trouble with sleeping and making one of his recipes? the Kitchen was empty.

The windows to the back garden reflected flames so Grace get closer to take a look. Five was sitting outside..not so small fire near him. Which seems to be the suitcase he never let anyone touch.

She opened the door.. Steps carefully and sits on her knees beside him"What are you doing her? "Five asked.not even startled by her showing suddenly.

"What are you doing here? You should be in bed. Resting"

He threw another tape in the fire"getting rid of bad life decisions" his answer was short and brief.

"what kind of bad decisions?"Grace studies him for any reactions.

" I did many of these I'm not proud of.. Many embarrassing things. A lot of.. "he cut himself looking away. It was really hard to talk about it since Grace can see the shame in his eyes"I don't want them to see...they will only show pity and keep walking on eggshells around me.I hate it.Didn't survive decades just to waste it on this" his eyes getting teary what made her take the next move.

She extended her arms. Looked at him with care and seriousness " do you want a hug? "

It takes him a minute before he start laughing. Tears finally sliding down and shaking from all the emotions.Five fell down in her embrace hugging her tightly while Grace holds him strongly" I'm sorry..I gave you so much trouble"He whispers quietly.

"that's fine" he let her go but still leaning on her"you are my son.. Nothing will make that fact change Five"both of them watched the fire consuming all of his past life.this time everyone will be there for him.. Five got nothing to be scared of. He is not alone anymore.

She smiled brightly.he can be anything and she will still love him.. It just seems that he can be an omega.
