Chance's Casino, 2.45 A.M
It was around two in the morning, Time had passed faster than you had expected. It was just a simple game of Russian Roulette with Chance, he often just kept doing a one in six chance, but you? Oh you. You risked your life, even more than they did. And oh, robloxia was he impressed. How you slid four more, golden bullets inside the cylinder of the revolver.
"Five Bullets."
You said. Smiling. "And one vacant spot."
To normal people— you would be seen as an insane person. Five bullets, one vacant spot— It was as if you were asking to be let inside Deaths' step. But perhaps that's why Chance is so infatuated with you. Your lack of fear with taking such a risky gamble, in the name of "entertainment". just to simply relieve yourself of the lack of extreme thrill in life. It was admirable. And soon, he had found himself falling deep into a rabbit hole. His thoughts often lingered and lingered, most specifically around you. Every time you would walk into his casino, he was already at your side, cracking jokes— Just to see at least one, genuine smile that came from the bottom of your heart.
"Chance?" You asked, he snapped out of his thoughts, looking back at you. Putting on a smile, as always. "Hm?" Chance hummed, flipping his coin. Noticing the almost full revolver. Smirking. "Have at it, darling." He said, knowing all too well what you would do right now. You grinned, sat at the roulette table, you spun the cylinder of the revolver, and you stopped after counting to fifteen. You spun the gun with your fingers effortlessly, almost elegant, even. Chance watched, fiddling the coin between their fingers as he watched you point the gun at the temple of your head. "Heads for the vacant spot, Tails for a bullet spot." You said, cocking the revolver. He grinned, flipping the coin into the air and catching it, unfurling their hands, it landed on Tails. You smiled.
"We'll find out." You state, pulling on the trigger of the revolver.
Click!
You looked at the revolver with deep, deep disappointment, Chance just chuckles. "It appears Lady Luck is on your side today." He said, flipping the same, golden coin once more. Landing on heads, tails... Those of the sort. "Glad she is, y'know, princess? I'd hate to see your pretty little head get blown up by that gun." They stated.
"When has Lady Luck, never, not have showed up by my side?" You responded. It was true. Chance can attest to that himself, even. They'd go as far as to say you were the luckiest person alive! That's why Chance likes to keep you with him, your like a lucky charm while he gambles. (And good company, but Chance will never admit that.) "Touché, Touché." They said, leaning back into his chair.
Suddenly, The Windows of the dimly lit casino broke open. Turning your head to look, there were a few men who were all dressed in those classic robber costumes. It was amusing, hilarious, even. To think, these immature adults would have chosen to break into a casino of all things. Perhaps it was because Chance's casino is quite, quite wealthy. But, nonetheless, it irked both you and Chance that they had to go here of all places. It was absolutely confounding.
You pulled out the gun just strapped to your thigh, cocking said gun and spinning it inbetween your fingers while Chance just reloaded his flintlock, waiting for the prowlers to come close, blowing out the candle that was by the roulette table. Only the moonlight shone through the windows and became as light instead. The men moved cautiously, one of them mumbling about how low security their casino has for such a big one. (Their giving the security guards a break for staying here 24/7 evey day, cut them some slack!) You sighed, just waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
These intruders are absolute idiots. Seriously! One of them didn't even know how to attack properly, with a knife! (It was a butter knife too, how stupid can these people be??) The others were just as stupid and useless, it was actually concerning. Chance reveled in it though, finding it absolutely amusing. One of the intruders swung their knife at you, but, Holy shit, were they absolutely terrible at predicting someone's next move. These people are absolutely horrible at robbing!
"Hey, are you even real at this point? Your trying to rob the casino and you're doing horrible at it." You said before firing the gun at the intruders' head, the gunshot echoing throughout the casino. The intruder dropped to the ground and their blood started making a pool of it. Making the other intruders flinch and look at both you and Chance terrified. (How adorable!) "You guys are absolutely horrible at attacking." Chance said, firing at two of the prowlers. Only one robber now.
The last one immediately dropped to their knees, begging for mercy. You smiled with glee, (How adorable! This one is begging for forgiveness!) You thought before Chance walked over to the man and stood behind him, tying his wrists with rope. You cock your head to the side whilst you watch on the sidelines.
"Since when did you have a rope with you?" You asked, curiousity filling your voice.
"Mhmmm... You don't need to know." Chance replied in a smug tone.
You just sighed, knowing they will probably never tell you. Chance finished tying the mans' wrist up, who still looked horrified. "What are you gonna do to me..?" He asked, squirming. "Were just gonna play Russian Roulette with ya." Chance said, dragging him to the Roulette table. He only kept squirming and yelling to let go of him. Neither of you let up, not when Entertainment had shown itself on your doors again.
Setting yourself on Chance's lap, they place a hand on your waist, lazily squeezing it as he removes the four bullets that you added earlier ago. The man, attempting to squirm his way out of the tight ropes, just kept looking at you, hands on your cheeks and smiling at him like some sick fuck. Chance finished taking out all four of the bullets, and what remained was one singular golden bullet. The man noticed, becoming alarmed. "Please don't..! I have a family back at home!" He pleaded and pleaded.
"What do you say, darling?" Chance asked you, smiling. Pretending to think, you grinned. "Hmm ... Nope!" You announced, looking back at the man who was petrified. "You heard 'em. Your still playing Russian Roulette with us." Chance said, cocking the revolver. Before pulling the trigger, however, Chance pulled out his coin and flipped it in the air, catching it between their fingers then looking at you. "Same rules still apply, Heads or Tails darling." He states, looking at you. "..Tails." You replied after a while and they smiled. "Double Tails today, eh?" He added.
He then flipped the coin twice, then catched it in the air, unfurling their hand, it revealed Tails. He let out a whistle, "Lets see." They said.
The gun kept clicking, but secretly, just secretly, Chance would silently add one bullet each time it didn't work. And soon, The revolver was full of bullets.
The man was praying to any god out there that he would survive this final round. Chance had promised he'd let him go after this round.
Chance kept their finger on the trigger, knowing that the gun will, finally, and inevitably shoot— before the man interrupted, pleading one last time. "Please, you can't do this..! We were so broke, we had to find a way to feed our children!" He begged, shedding ugly, crocodile tears. Chance just scoffed. "You picked the wrong one to rob, buddy." They cut him off. Before pointing the gun at his head, finger on the trigger. You waved bye at him, still smiling.
"Bye bye!" You said before Chance fired the trigger. The mans forehead started bleeding, and his head fell on the table, much to your despise. You sighed, not wanting to clean the roulette table, Chance just chuckles. Pecking your lips, "Don't be so pouty now, sweetheart. I'll help you clean." He mumbled against your lips, smiling. You just sighed. "Lets get started on cleaning, then." You said, standing up from his lap.
Local news had announced four infamous robbers had gone missing overnight, and Chance's casino had been questioned first since Customers had noticed the newly broken window. But Chance waved them off, saying that their security guards had dealt with it. And no one had bothered to question about it again.
No one can know what happened last night.
