   Summary

   This is the season the Viscount Anthony Bridgerton intends to find a wife to fulfill his duties to his family. He has decided that true love is not worth the heartache of the eventual loss he watched his mother deal with after his father’s sudden death. Love is out of the question, so he must find a young woman that checks all of his boxes.

   Lady Alice McNeill deals with chronic pain and has walked with the aid of a cane since an accident when she was a child. Her overbearing brothers and adoring parents are too protective to let her explore the marriage mart alone, even as she enters her sixth and final season before just becoming a governess.
