Chapter Text

Sue was gently awoken from her sleep by the feeling of something soft brushing her cheek. The fox hummed a little before hugging her pillow tighter and snuggling deeper. A gentle giggle was heard before something that felt ever so familiar wrapped around her tighter, keeping her stuck in its warmth. As the soft touches fell back on her cheek, Sue smiled wider and began to open her eyes to see Velencia kiss her. As the princess pulled away and smiled down at her with love-sick smiles, the fox gently grabbed the hand that was around her waist and held it. Her girlfriend pulled her closer and rested her head on Sue's neck.

"Happy 23rd birthday and 10th anniversary, my love~." Velvey sang gently as she wrapped her other arm around the fox.

"Awww~. Thank you, Bunny~. What a lovely surprise." Sue giggled as she cuddled closer.

"If you think this is a lovely surprise… I can't wait to see what the rest of today brings~." She responded while she moved her head to look at her face.

"Ooooo! Look at you! You're going to spoil me today?" The fox teased gently before letting go of Velvey's hand and moving to face her.

"Oh, you bet your cutesy foxy self that I'm going to spoil the best thing that has ever happened to me on her special day! And the day after that! And the day after that~!" Velencia cooed as she hugged her girlfriend close and moved onto her back. 

Sue giggled as she rested on Velencia's chest, looking down at her with a loving smile. After a few seconds of silence, the fox soon grew a devious smile before resting her chin on the backs of her hands.

"You are? You just love to feed into my greedy side, huh?" She joked while puffing up her nine tails and flicking them mischievously.

"You know I do, Foxy baby. You're the best thing that ever came from Greed… I wonder how such a place held such a beautiful jade for so long." Velvey purred lovingly as she slowly rubbed up and down her girlfriend's spine. 

Sue's face formed into a slight blush before growing more devious.

"Hmmm… I don't know… Us greedlings are just full of secrets, aren't we~?"  

Velencia's loving smile widened as she held her girlfriend tighter, sitting up against their pillows.  

"That you are, my Sue Sue… That you are." She sighed lovingly before rubbing their noses together.

Which, of course, made the fox melt as she returned the favor. They nuzzled lovingly together before pulling away to look into each other's eyes. Sue smiled wider as she brushed Velencia's side bang aside and rested her hands on her cheeks. The princess gently nuzzled in her left palm before leaning down and capturing her lips in a loving kiss. Once again, causing the fox to melt into her before returning the affection. The two shared loving kisses for a few minutes before giggling and cuddling closer to each other. As Sue nuzzled under Velencia's chin, the fox couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

"Whats so funny, Foxy woxy?" She asked as she kissed the top of her head.

"It's just… I can't believe that we have been together for 10 years… It feels like only yesterday that we were 13 and fighting the odds to stay together… Granted… Everything we were fighting against was stuff on my end, but still…"

"You know I would fight endless wars just to be with you… You are my love… My heart… My light… My liberty… And I will forever celebrate the day that you changed my history…" Velvey said fondly as she kissed Sue's forehead and hugged her closer to her chest.

"Awww… Velvey… Stop… You're going to make me cry! I should be saying that about you!" The fox exclaimed with happy tears in her eyes as she hugged her closer and curled her nine tails around the both of them.

"Who says we can't both say it~?"

Sue let out a few happy foxy barks before cuddling closer if that was even possible. They rested that way for a while until Velencia began to speak.

"So, birthday girl… How does it feel to be 23 years old?" She asked while gently scratching the fox's chin.

"It feels amazing! I can't believe I'm one step closer to being vintage!" Sue joked, causing her girlfriend to laugh.

"Oh please, you're nowhere close to being vintage!" 

"Yes, I am! Things usually become vintage at 25 years, you know that!"

"Well, you are not a thing, Sue Sue. You're a living, breathing person who is smart and talented… And that's why I love you~." 

"AWWWW! Bunny!"

After the two cuddled closer and rained kisses on each other's faces for what felt like not long enough, the princess began to speak.

"Sooooo Miss birthday girl… What would you like to do until this evening?" She asked gently as she rubbed her cheek.

"Mmmmm… I don't know~... It's still really early, and it's our anniversary… What were you thinking?" The fox said slowly as she smiled and fluttered her eyelashes.

"Hmmm… You know… I had a little something in mind… If you're up for it…" The princess replied gently as she rubbed Sue's leg and the spot just above her tails.

Sue giggled a bit before leaning closer into Velencia's chest.

"If I were to say 'Yes'... What would you do~?" She asked mischievously as she began to gently knead Velvey's pajama tank top. 

"I would say… Whatever my birthday girl wants, she gets~." Velencia purred as she flipped the fox onto her back and looked down at her with lascivious grins.

"Oh, well then… Why don't you follow through with that, Mommy~?" She purred back as she pulled her girlfriend into a kiss.

After… Having some fun… The two lovebirds took a bath before getting dressed in their matching robes and heading to the kitchen to make breakfast. Let me rephrase… Vel made their breakfast while she asked her precious Sue Sue to “sit pretty” at their table. Which, of course, made the fox roll her eyes affectionately before taking her girlfriend's request. As Velencia made their pancakes, Sue couldn't help but smile while closing her eyes… Even after all of these years of living together… Sue was still in shock of it all… She had never in her life thought she would be in the position she was in right now… She had a life… A home… A successful career… A loving family… An amazing girlfriend that she cherished more than anything… So much has changed for her in the last 10 years… Yet there was still some more to come… The fox was shortly cut from her musing by her girlfriend.

"I have some great news, Sue Sue! Everyone is coming to the party later!"

"I heard! I can't wait to see everyone again! It has been a long time since we all got together."

"So true! I know we still talk on the phone or see each other after going off and doing our own things, but it will still be nice to see them all again!" Velencia said happily as she gave Sue some strawberry lemonade before returning to the stove. 

"Same here, Bunny! Although have you heard anything about Amethyst, Tanzanite, and Gier? I know you guys weren't close at all, but don't your parents still talk to theirs?" She asked as she picked up her cup and took a sip.

"Yeah. From what Mom and Dad said, Am and Tan are still their snide and snippy selves, while G is still a terror. Which makes me glad we didn't invite them… While I was thinking of inviting Aunt Leviathan and Aunt Opal out of courtesy… They weren't the nicest to you and are probably still mad about what I said about the twins… And honestly… When I was growing up… They weren't nice to me either…" Velvey added bluntly as she flipped the pan.

"Well, that's stupid! Who could be mean to you, Bunny?!" Sue exclaimed, earning her a slight chuckle.

"Yeah, well… The whole 'being the daughter of the imp and lowest rank sin' can earn you some school-yard quips from everyone, including your family… Though it was funny to see them all get reallllyyyyy quiet when they learned what I was capable of… Guess there are always people like that in the family, huh?" The princess continued as she plated their breakfast and began adding items on top of them.

"Oh! Trust me! I know!" Sue laughed as she swayed her tails.

Velencia looked at her over her shoulder with a love-sick smile before grabbing their plates and walking over.

"Your breakfast is served, Birthday girl~! I hope you enjoy!" She chirped as she set the plate down in front of her girlfriend.  

"WOAH! BUNNY! This looks amazing; they are adorable! Thank you so much!" Sue cooed as she stared at her three tiered heart pancakes with syrup, whipped cream, bunny sprinkles, and heart-cut strawberries. 

"I'm so glad you love them! Though, it means everything to me that they made you smile~." Velvey purred as she sat down next to her with her plate and rubbed their cheeks together.

"Awww! You!... Oh, this is going to be too hard to eat! They are just so cute! My heart can't do it!" Sue said in a dramatic tone as she jokingly threw her arm on her forehead, causing her girlfriend to laugh.

"Oh! I see! Well… Watch this!"

As requested, Sue opened her eyes to look at Velencia… Who stabbed her fork into her pancake stack and began to slowly cut into them. 

"Oh my gosh! Bunny!" The fox laughed back as she watched her.

"See! It's super easy! I wouldn't want my adorable Sue Sue to starve!" She cooed happily before taking the bite off her fork.

"Hmmm… You seem to be right! Let me try…" Sue said lovingly as she picked up her fork to do the same.

Once she brought the slice to her mouth, the fox blinked a few times before closing her eyes and letting out a loud hum.

"Mmmmmm! So good!" She continued as she rested her left hand on her cheek and wagged her nine tails quickly.

"I'm so happy to hear that, Sue Sue! You deserve the best breakfast ever! Though… I have to say… I happen to know something tastier." The princess purred as she leaned closer.

"What?" The fox asked as she opened her eyes to look at her.

"You~." She answered with a smug grin before kissing her neck.

"Velencia! You adorable beast!" Sue laughed as her girlfriend pulled her into her arms and began to purr lovingly.

"Alright, pretty lady… What were you thinking about for your outfit tonight?" Velvey asked as she laid on her stomach on the massive pink heart ottoman in the middle of their closet.

"I was thinking of something where we can both match. Since it is my birthday, I think it would be cute for us. Also, because it is our 10th anniversary, soooo I think it checks." Sue replied as she looked through the clothes on her side.

"Whatever you want, Sweetheart! I also think it would be cute!" She giggled while kicking her legs and forming a heart with her tail.

The fox chuckled at her before making her way up the stairs to the second floor to continue her search. 

"Okay, so matching! Gotcha! What style were you thinking about, Sue Sue? Formal, casual, etcetera?”

"Mmmm… Probably formal… I want something glittery."

"OH! Glitter! I am loving that idea! You always liked shiny things! It's so cute!" 

"Thank you! Do you have any ideas? I know you would wear anything I say, but I want to hear your opinion."

"I think you know what I would like to see you in~." The princess sang as she gave a little chuckle.

"My lord, you really are the Princess of Lust, aren't you?" She asked while leaning on the railing with a smile.

"I have never felt shame in my life… Especially when it comes to expressing and showing everyone how pretty you are, Sexy~. You know that~." Velencia purred as she gave a cheeky smile and stuck out her tongue.

"Oh, I do know that very much. Then you get protective and a little bit jealous when others talk to me~." The fox sang back before going deeper into the section of clothes on the second floor.

"Oh? And you don't?" She asked in an amused tone.

"Toeché. I guess we like keeping each other's safety and attention on one another, huh?"

"Exactly~!" 

Sue giggled a bit before continuing to look through her options… She wanted something bolder… She wanted something memorable… She wanted something perfect… Though… Luckily for her, she soon found what she was looking for… 

The whole thing was black and glittery; it consisted of a strap that went around her neck, with white lace on the bottom rim. In the middle of it, a thin black strip of fabric went down and connected with extremely short, skin-tight pants that reached barely to her thighs. Which had three straps that fell a few inches down the side of her leg, coming out from the middle of the pant leg and wrapping around to the other side behind it… It was perfect! 

While yes, it would definitely be an extremely bold choice for most demons to wear outside of lingerie use, for skeleton demons like Sue, it would be equal to wearing a cocktail dress… After all, skeleton-jester demons rarely wore clothes because of how most of their species' anatomy worked.

Speaking of cocktail dresses…

"Bunny? Do you still have your dress that matches this?"

"Alright, Sweetheart… Almost done. What do you think?" 

The princess quickly looked up from brushing her hair to see; her eyes went wide.

"Oh Sue Sue… You look beautiful." Velencia cooed as she watched Sue attach her small, pink crystal heart close to the top of the strap that rested in the middle of her ribcage.

"Aww… Thank you, Bunny! It's been a long time since I've worn this! Forgot how much I loved it!" Sue answered while finally getting the crystal attached and doing a spin in the mirror. 

"I haven't… Ah… I remember the first time I saw you wear this… I passed out…" Her girlfriend responded before getting up and hugging her from behind.

"Oh, I remember that… That's why it is my favorite~." Sue sang gently as she took the thin chain of her girlfriend's necklace and began to play with it. 

"Mmmm… Though I'm sure you would love it when I can take it off~." She purred, and she began to play with the three straps on her left leg, causing Sue to giggle.

"Geez… You're reeeeaaalllyyy leaning into the Lust today, huh?"

"Can you blame me? Your frisky side comes out once a month! Forgive me for getting excited and taking advantage of my opportunity." Velencia replied lovingly as she kissed her cheek.

"I didn't say it was bad, did I? In fact… I quite like it myself…" The fox purred as she looked at her girlfriend's chest.

"Oh! Look who is the Princess of Lust now!" 

With that said, Velvey tickled her fox's sides, causing Sue to laugh and give her some squeaks. After causing her to lean closer to try and get away, she picked her girlfriend up and danced them around the closet. When the two finally stilled, Sue stared lovingly at her girlfriend, rested her hands on her cheeks, and gave her lips a gentle kiss. Which, of course, the princess reciprocated. The two pulled away a few moments later before giggling and rubbing their foreheads together. There was a brief moment of silence before Sue began to speak.

"I think it's almost time. Ready to head downstairs and see if anyone is here yet?" 

"Yeah, I think that's a good idea. I want to check to see if everything is still good in the main hall before we let people in. I would hate for something to be missing at the dessert table."

"Pfft! Knowing Bee, Tex, Char, Ras, Tar, and Sher… If there is, the endless amount of food they will be bringing anyways will fill in that gap for sure." 

"Yeah, you're right… Still want to make sure my Sue Sue's party is the bestest ever! I can't wait for you to open all of the gifts I got you! Though, I'm sure you still have so many yet to come!" Velencia said as she kissed Sue's nose and sat her back on the floor.

"Ooooo! Stop teasing my greedy fox side, Vel Vel! I might not be able to control myself if you keep it up at this rate!" She joked back with a devious smile.

"Oh well! I wouldn't mind! You would look so cute peeking out of a pile of stuff." Velvey answered with a shrug before kissing her forehead.

"Sure, Sure. Go ahead and double-check everything, okay? I have one last quick thing to do in here."

"Alright! See you downstairs, Birthday girl!" The princess said as she gave her one last kiss before skipping off happily.

"See you, Baby!" She smiled lovingly as she waved her off.

Once she was out of her view, Sue did indeed move to do one last thing… Get one last thing…

When Sue was finished, she walked through their home to the grand hall. One benefit of receiving one of a Sin's many past homes from her girlfriend's parents as a birthday present was the massive space to have great gatherings… Although, after almost three years of living here together, it was unrecognizable from what it had been before… It was all truly theirs now…

Once she made it to her destination, Sue saw Velencia quickly looking around the massive grand hall. The fox couldn't help but chuckle at how cute she looked.

"How is the double-checking going?" Sue laughed gently as she walked in.

"Good. Just making sure everything is perfect."

"Oh yeah? Is it?"

"Well, now it is because you're here~." Velvey cooed lovingly as she gave her a hug and kiss on the nose.

"Ahh… Princess of Romance continues to romance." The fox giggled before nuzzling closer. 

As the two were about to kiss, a portal opened in the archway of the hall. They slowly looked over and saw Fizz and Ozzie enter through.

"WHERE IS THE BIRTHDAY GIRL AND LOVEBIRDS!?" The Queen of Lust exclaimed as he barged in and landed on his feet next to his husband.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Velencia cheered as she and Sue walked over to greet them.

"Hello, Sweethearts! How are you two doing today?" The king exclaimed as he quickly came closer and gave them a massive hug.

"We are doing great! Thank you guys so much for coming to the party!" Sue said while happily wagging her tails.

"Of course! We wouldn't miss it for the world!" Fizz cheered as he bounced over and joined in on the hug as well.

After a minute, Ozzie felt a tug on his arm.

"Ozz! The presents!"

"Oh yeah! Where would you like me to put them?" He asked while looking at his daughter.

"Over there! I started a pile already." She answered while pointing to the right side of the room, where a few hundred presents were stacked.

"Thank you, Bunny boo." Ozzie cooed before snapping his fingers, adding a generous amount to the pile.

Happy by the increase, Velencia went over to make sure they were all sturdy. After she was done with her lookover, she turned back to her family to see Sue and her parents talking in a hushed tone while she showed them something. Before she could walk over, another portal opened.

"WE'RE HERE!" Charcuterie yelled as he slid on his knees across the floor while holding up a large box full of chocolate and candy. 

"Char! You made it! With gifts!" Velvey said as she walked over.

"HELL YEAH! I hope you guys like this! I came up with some new flavors! I think they will fit your palates nicely!" He replied as he got off the floor and dusted his pants off with his bottom set of paws. 

"Well, I'm glad you could make it! Thank you so much for coming! How is the factory going?" Sue asked as she, Fizz, and Ozzie walked over. 

"Of course! I wouldn't miss your guys' party! That would be going against every bone in my body! Also, everything is going great! My candy is selling like crazy!" The prince said with a proud smile while flicking his top further on his head.

"I understand why! I have been buying so much since you started! You have a real talent with flavors, little Wonka man!" Asmodeus said as he patted him on the back.

“Thank you bunches, Uncle Oz! Where would you like me to put these? I’m sure Mom, Rasy, TarTar, and Sher would like to know since they are gathering more stuff.”

“Let me show you, Char! It’s just over here!” Fizz said as he led his nephew to the dessert table.

On cue, the King and Queen of Gluttony themselves came through the portal with Raspberry, Tart, and Sherbet. As soon as the princess spotted Sue, Raspberry let out an excited squeal before throwing the box of drinks she had in her hands to her dad so she could zoom over, who somehow managed to catch it despite carrying many gift bags in his arms.  

“SUEY SUE! HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY GIRL! YOU LOOK AMAZING!” She yelled as she gave her a massive hug.

“Thank you, Rasmataze! I’m happy you came! I see you and your mom brought drinks?” She asked with a slight chuckle as she watched Vortex struggle to carry the box, along with the gifts they had brought to the right side of the room.

“You bet your ass we did! I hope you guys don’t mind! We just had to bring your favorites! After all, this is a fucking party!”

“Not at all! Honestly, I think it would have been shocking if you didn’t.” Velencia joined in with a laugh.  

“Deadass!” Raspberry exclaimed.

The trio stood that way for a second before being joined by Tart and Sherbet.

“Hey! Happy Birthday, Sue!” The princess said as she wagged her tail.

“Yeah! And happy anniversary!” The prince added with a smile.

“Thank you guys so much! It means a lot to us!” Sue responded as she proudly hugged her girlfriend’s side.

“Seriously, thank you guys for coming! Also, thank you for adding to the tables! I highly doubt we will run out anytime soon.” Velvey said as she looked over at her parents, Charcuterie, Bee, and Vortex, struggling to find space on the dinner, drink, and dessert tables.

“It was nothing! It was our pleasure! I enjoy cooking! I hope you like pasta because I’m sure you guys will be eating it for weeks after this.” Tart chuckled as he proudly fixed his bowtie, giving Sue a fist bump.

“Same here! Only with ice cream! I kind of went overboard after Rasy, Char, and I had a drinking game a few days ago. All I remember was going into the kitchen and waking up to find so much in the walk-in freezer! It was nuts! Don’t worry! I taste-tested them to make sure I didn’t do anything stupid!” Sherbet laughed.

“I never had doubts, Shirley! You always made good ice cream, regardless of how sober you are.” The fox said with a smile. 

They all stood there and continued to talk for a little while until they saw another portal open, revealing Belphegor, Lazy Dog, and Rider. 

"Hey guys! Thank you all for coming! Sue cheered as she saw the Prince of Sloth come over to stand with the group.

"Hey. Happy birthday, Sue. I got you a few things; Mao Mao is adding them to your mountain right now." He replied gently as he pointed.

"HOLY SHIT! ITS FUCKING HUGE!" Tart yelled as he and his siblings ran over to marvel at its size.

"Aww! Thank you, Ri! You guys didn't have to do that." 

"Of course we did, Sue. You are my friend, and I wanted to show you I care." He said with a smile.

"I couldn't agree with you more! My Sue Sue deserves it! Also, woah! You clean up amazing!" Velencia exclaimed as she praised his clean-cut baby pink suit, styled hair, and curled bangs.

"Well, it is a special occasion. Can't look sloth-like all of the time, can I?" He asked with a slight laugh.

"Guess not. Glad you can see that, Ri." Sue chuckled.  

Before they could discuss anything further, the light of another portal shined and in stormed Roman and Sparta with stuff in their arms while Satan and Mirabel followed close behind.

Once the twins spotted Velencia and Sue, they came over proudly.

"Hey guys! Nice party you got here! I reckon this massive mountain of stuff is your presents, Sue?" Roman asked as he gestured towards his left, causing Sue to laugh and nod her head.

"You are correct, Ro! Glad it is very noticeable!"

The prince smiled at her before walking over to it, leaving Sparta to give a sigh of relief.

"Thank lord, he is gone! Now I can give you guys your anniversary gift!" She said while untying the wrapped bundle in her arms, revealing a lemon and strawberry meringue pie.

"I know I can't compete with the gluttony pups, but I still hope you guys like this."

"Awww! Sparta! Did you make this?!" Sue fawned gently as she let go of Velencia and leaned closer.

"Yep! Believe it or not, I like baking." The princess answered with a smile.

"Thank you, Spar! I'm sure we will love it! It looks amazing." Valencia added as she did the same.

"I'm glad you-"

"IS THAT PIE!?" 

Sparta quickly whipped her head around to see Roman and Raspberry staring at her with glittering eyes. She growled at them before shielding it with her left wing.

"Go away! It's not yours!"

Not caring what she said, the two raced over towards her, causing Sparta to run and try and save the pie.

The trio laughed at them before returning to their conversation. 

"Excuse me, I see some drinks that will help me stay up. Let me go get one. I'll be back." Rider said as he walked away with a slight wave.

"Alright, Rider! Take your time!" 

As Velencia waved him off, she looked down at her girlfriend with loving eyes. Sue couldn't help but do the same as she cuddled closer. However, before they could do anything, the last portal of the night opened, and in came the King and Princess of Hell, along with her girlfriend. Lucifer and Charlie looked around for a second before their eyes landed on the girls. The two couldn't help but loudly cheer as the three of them came over.

"Happy Birthday, Sue! Thank you so much for inviting us!"

"Happy anniversary you two! Thank you so much for inviting us!"

They said quickly at the same time, causing Velencia, Sue, and Vaggie to laugh a bit.

"Of course! Thank you all for coming! I'm glad you could make time to be here." The fox answered with a gentle smile.

"No way we would not be here! I would never miss my baby cousin's anniversary and girlfriend's birthday!" The princess cheered as she excitedly clapped her hands together.

"Same here! Congratulations to you, Sue! Also, you make an adorable couple. You two have always been perfect for each other." Lucifer added on with a large smile.

With the King of Hell's words spoken for all to hear, Sue couldn't help but smile wider and hug Velencia tighter as happy tears formed in her eyes. 

It didn’t take long for the party to go into full swing. Everyone was enjoying themselves while eating, drinking, and chatting with one another. At some point, with Velencia’s permission, Bee put on some dance music. Sue couldn’t help but pull Velencia into the middle of the room as they danced to the first song. As the two enjoyed themselves, they unknowingly started a trend… Hell, even Rider, Bel, and Lazy bobbed their heads while joining in at points.

After a few hours, Velencia and Sue found themselves sneaking a few cookies away from their dessert table as they watched everyone. The princess blinked at them a few times before turning to her girlfriend with a love-sick smile.

“Having a fun birthday so far, Sue Sue?”

“Yes. Yes, I am. Thank you so much for doing this for me, Bunny. I love you.” She said gently as she nuzzled closer and started to wag her tails.

“I love you too, Sue Sue. More than anything~.” Velencia cooed back as she hugged her girlfriend closer and kissed her forehead.

They stayed that way for a while until Sue looked up to see Ozzie, Fizz, and Rider looking at her. She tilted her head a bit before the three of them dispersed. The fox smiled wider before cuddling closer… Then, all of a sudden, the upbeat party music softly faded into the melody of “Rondo Across Countless Kalpas.” Surprised by the change, Velencia looked up and saw the floor was empty. Before she could say anything, Sue offered her a hand.

“Care to have a dance with me, my love?” She asked with a light smile.

The princess blinked at her a few times before giving her a loving smile and taking her offering.

“How could I ever say no to you, my pretty fox~.” She sang as they walked to the middle of the floor.

Already knowing all of the steps… Having done it many times… After all, this was their favorite piece… 

As they drew closer to the middle, Velencia turned around and began to slowly walk backwards while Sue continued to follow at a matched pace. Once they reached the spot they wanted, they gently raised their arms to grab each other's hands as they continued walking. Velencia stopped for a moment, allowing Sue to step in front of her before leading the fox into a slight swirl that guided her to the princess's right side before Velvey let go of her hand to stand behind her. Velencia rested there for a second before caressing her fingertips up Sue’s hands and arms. 

Once she reached her shoulders, she gently grabbed them and turned the fox around so they would face each other. As they looked into each other's eyes, one side of their hands wrapped around the other's while the other rested on their forearms. While they stuck their clasped hands out a bit, they two swayed and stepped side to side with the sound of the violin. After moving that way twice, Velencia guided Sue back into another twirl before stepping behind her, resting her hand on her waist and resting her other hand on her chin.  

She caressed it a few times before Sue grabbed her hand and twirled herself out. Causing the tension from their arms to pull her back into another twirl that led her into a slight dip. After staying that way for a moment, Velvey pulled her up so they could be face to face, moving the arm that was around her waist to the back of her shoulder while Sue grabbed her free hand. As the music grew, the two began to move in a circle, extending their legs outward before rotating back to their original positions. As they moved to do another circle, the girls moved both pairs of their hands together, and Sue arched up one of her legs to spin on the tip of her foot.  

Using that as an anchor point, the princess walked them around a couple of times. Once the music started to pick up, Sue put both of her feet on the ground, giving Velencia to go to move her into another spin. As the fox finished, he twirled and extended her arm up gracefully. The princess grew cheeky and leaned down to start kissing up her girlfriend’s arm. Sue chuckled a bit before pulling away slightly before Velvey grabbed her wrist and twirled her to face the opposite direction. 

After Sue began to walk backwards with Velencia following close for a few steps, the princess reached her arm around to the back of Sue’s ribcage, allowing her to tilt back slightly before pulling her back to face each other. Once their eyes locked, they slowly extended their opposite legs in front of them, then reached their mirrored arms up and slowly lowered them back down to gesture a slight bow. As their hands were in front of each other, they reached out and clutched onto the other before pulling each other into a waltz. After a few beats, Velvey pulled Sue to the side slightly before moving her hand to her waist a little higher and guiding her into another single spin as she let her go completely. 

As her spin came to an end, the fox fanned out her nine tails as she arched her leg, leading Velencia to step closer and wrap her arms around her ribcage while Sue rested her right arm on her shoulder. The two leaned in a bit before transitioning into another waltz. They danced that way for a few measures until Velencia twirled Sue around and let her go. While the fox drifted a few inches away and came to a stop, Velvey slowly walked back over to her with a loving smile on her face. As she grew closer, the two circled each other once before Sue was moved into another dip. Once she was brought back up, she hugged her girlfriend’s torso while bending her knee before quickly stretching out that bent knee to cause herself to twirl by herself twice behind Velencia.  

When she finished, the fox quickly walked around her to grab the hand that was waiting to guide her into another waltz. Once again, they danced that way as the music grew slightly more intense, not carrying off anything else but each other. However, as her music had a slight moment of softness, the two leaned into each other before pulling back to look into each other's eyes as the music quickly returned to its former intensity. Sue and Velencia smiled lovingly at each other for a few seconds until the violins in the song grew darker… With that switch, roles were flipped… Letting Sue take charge.   

The fox quickly rested her hands on Vel’s checks before grabbing one of her hands and leading her into a spin. Once the spin finished, Sue guided them into a slight waltz before guiding the princess into another spin before letting her go. As Velencia arched her leg and tilted back, Sue’s left arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her to her ribcage. Causing her to be turned again and pulled into another waltz. As the violins grew more tense and spindly, Sue led Velencia into one last fast solo spin. It drew tighter and led her to drop back backwards. Once she was a foot away from the ground, Sue quickly reached her arm out to catch her… Ending with a deep dip.

They looked at each other with loving smiles, gently breathing as they pulled themselves close together and looked into each other's eyes. However, their moment of silence was short-lived by the sounds of their family clapping and cheering for them. Velencia blinked a few times before turning to give them a big smile and bow with Sue. As she felt her girlfriend let go of her hand, Velvey took the opportunity to tap her fingertips together before leaning toward Sue's direction. Aiming to allow her to have her own set of bows, however, the sounds of shocked gasps and stunned silence emulated through the room.

Surprised by the sudden change, she blinked a few times before quickly looking to her left to ask Sue what was wrong… However… She saw nothing… What… 

Just then, the tips of a familiar pair of ears flashed up down low… Shocked, Velencia quickly looked down to see what had happened… Only for her eyes to grow wide from what she was seeing…

Her Sue Sue...

Sitting with her legs tucked up under her…

Tails puffed up like a lily…

Arms resting in front of her…

With…

Her hands folded out…

A pastel jade ring with a heart-shaped light pink spine, with two little circle spinels on each side… 

Once it finally registered in her head what was happening. The princess held her hands to her mouth as gentle tears welled up in her eyes. 

Sue looked up at her with a gentle, loving smile before taking in a deep breath.

"Velencia, I don't know where I can possibly begin… Throughout these 20 years we have known each other… Every second we have spent together… Has been the most beautiful… And… Best moments I have ever experienced in my life… You are truly the most wonderful person to have ever existed… Your intelligence is like none I have ever seen… Your kindness is none I have ever felt… Your strength is breathtaking… Your talents are second to none… There is no one like you in all of Hell… You are truly a wonder… And from the moment I first saw you… And fell in love with you… My first and only love… I knew I wanted to spend the rest of the time together…"  

"...Sue Sue…" The princess said with a gentle sniffle. 

"Velencia, Amari, Lust… Will you give me the highest honor… and allow me to call you my wife?" Sue asked with a loving smile and swaying tails. 

Velvey stood there stunned for a few seconds… 

Before quickly nodding.

"Yes! Yes, of course, Sue Sue! I will marry you… I. I . I…. I love you so much!" She said between happy sobs as she threw herself on her fiance's lap and began to cuddle into her.

As Sue kissed her forehead, gently slid the ring on her left ring finger, and held her closer as she picked them up from the floor, their family let out excited cheers, howls, and cries as they showed the couple their love and support…

However, as Sue rubbed Velvey's back… And Velencia curled close into Sue's chest…

It was clear they were lost in their own little world…

And they all knew…

Nothing was more perfect than that…

"OH MY GOSH! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!"

"SO CUTE!"

"Look at that stone! It's gorgeous!"

"It's so pretty!" 

"OOOO! IT'S SO SHINY!"

"It's perfect!"

The crowd cheered as they circled around Velencia's hand to see her ring, with her permission, of course, to love-sick to care if they were closer than usual. In the fiancé's states, Velvey had her eyes closed with one hand on her lovey-dovey, smiling face while Sue proudly hugged her waist and snuggled into her ribs. Which, of course, made everyone coo and fawn over them even more.

"Awww! Ain't that so sweet! You two are so adorable! We are so happy for you, right, Honey?" Mirabel asked her husband as she looked at him with a cheery smile.

"Yes… Yes, we are… I'm… So happy for you, little strawberry…" Satan replied as he tried to hide himself, brushing his eyes and sniffling.

"Awwww! Uncle S! Are you crying?" Velencia asked as she moved her right hand to her heart.

"No… I just got some champagne in my eyes…" 

"Bruh…" Sparta groaned as she gave him an unimpressed look at his excuse.

"Bullshit! That happened an hour ago! Just admit it! You're happy your niece is getting fucking married!" Beelzebub exclaimed as she looked at him with a smug grin.

"No…" The King of Wrath replied gruffly as visible tears formed in the corners of his eyes.

"OH MY FUCK! DAD'S CRYING! MOM LOOK!" Roman yelled while pointing at him.

As the father-son duo went back and forth, Mirabel and Sparta shook their heads before looking back at the ring. There were a few more moments of fawning before Sherbet spoke up. 

"This ring is perfect for you, Vel! It fits you so well! How did you come up with it, Sue?" The princess asked as she looked at the fox with glittering eyes and a wagging tail.

Sue snuggled into Velencia a few times before opening her eyes, blinking a few times, and forming a wider grin on her face. 

"Well, the pink represents Bunny, you see. And the green represents me… So, I designed the jade surrounding the spinels to show that I will forever protect her heart and support her no matter what." The fox said with a proud, loving smile.

Which, of course, made the group wilder! Hell! She could even see Belphegor and Lazy Dog wiping tears from their eyes.

"AAAAAWWWWWW! STOP! OMS! THAT IS SO FUCKING CUTE!" Lucifer, Bee, Mirabel, and Charlie exclaimed.

"YOOOOO! SMOOOOOOTTTTHHHH!" Tart said as he looked at Sue with a smug nod.

"Damn right, it is." Vaggie responded as she crossed her arms and gave him an agreeing smile. 

"DAMN! WE GOT TO TAKE FUCKING NOTES!" Roman yelled as he wrapped his arms around Rider and Charcuterie necks.

"HELL YEAH WE DO! WE HAVE TO STEP UP OUR CREATIVITY IN THE FUTURE! QUICK! HERE!" The hound prince exclaimed as he reached under his top hat and grabbed three chocolate-stained notepads and pencils. 

"OH MY FUCK! THAT IS PERFECT! DAMN SUEY! GOOD FOR YOU! YOUR GIVING ME A NEW STANDARD! LIKE SERIOUSLY! IF MY FUTURE FIANCÉ DOESN'T PUT THAT MUCH CARE INTO MY RING, I DON'T FUCKING WANT THEM!" Raspberry yelled as she leaned in closer.

"That's right, Sweetheart! You… Wait… HHHMMM!?" Vortex said in surprise as he looked at her with shock.

"Ras, I don't think Dad's ready to hear that. We are still, like, babies to him! I think his mind is going to explode!" Sherbet laughed as she looked over at them.

"I DON'T CARE! SO WHAT IF I'M 22!? I'M JUST STATING IT FOR THE RECORD!"

"THAT'S RIGHT, BABY GIRL! SET THOSE STANDARDS! IF THEY DON'T CARE, THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR TIME!" Bee howled with approval as she gave her daughter a hug.

Velencia giggled a bit before joining in the conversation. 

"This is such a beautiful ring, Sue Sue! I'm so happy to call it mine! I love it so much! I will keep it safe forever and everHow did I not know you were getting this made?" She asked in loving surprise as she gently grabbed Sue's left hand and gave it a slight kiss.

"YESSSS! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, TELL US!" Charlie exclaimed as she leaned closer, her eyes glittering with excitement.

"YESS! PLEASE! I'LL… L'LL GIVE YOU MONEY!" Mirabel swooned as she did the same. 

"MY KIDNEY!" Tart added as he jumped in.

"MY SOUL!" Raspberry cheered as she clasped her hands together and rested them on her left cheek.

Sue laughed a bit at their enthusiasm before nodding her head, which caused the group to grow even more excited. 

"Well… You see… I may have had some help…" The fox answered with a smug grin as she looked towards Fizz, Ozzie, and Rider, who was struggling to get out of Roman's arm lock and away from Charcuterie's, honestly, grubby note pads.

The princess blinked a few times in shock as she understood what she meant by that statement.   

"You… You three knew… All along?" Velvey asked with a smile as happy tears formed in her eyes. 

 "That we did, Sweetheart… After all, she asked me and your mother if she could." Ozzie replied with a gentle smile.

"Which, of course, we said 'Yes' to! It was almost comical! Like, we would have ever said 'no' at this point!" Fizz added quickly with a laugh before reaching out and teasingly pinching the fox's cheek gently.

Velencia was once again stunned into silence, shocked by what that meant. However, her surprise was turned into a warm look for her love as she smiled wider and wiped the tears from her eyes, looking down at her fiancé.

"You did?... When?" She asked as she reached for her fiancé's left hand and gently ran her thumb over her bony knuckles. 

"I asked last year at one of the dinners at your parents' house… When you left the kitchen for a moment. You should have seen them when I brought it up and asked them for your hand! They were bouncing off the walls and crying like crazy! I'm honestly surprised that they kept it together and on the down low when you came back! It gave me mad whiplash, I’ll tell you!" Sue answered with a laugh as she stood straight up and began to rub her cheek against her fiancé's left shoulder, causing Vel to giggle a bit. 

"Well… I mean… Picking up on things I'm not looking for has never really been my strong suit. Huh?" The princess chuckled while wrapping her tail around one of Sue's.

The fox chuckled herself before gently shaking her head and continuing.

"From that point, Fizz and Oz got me in contact with the best jeweler they knew in all of Hell. Although, since I'm not too familiar with rings and crystals, I needed some… Extra guidance on selecting the best possible ring type that fit my idea… Hence… Where Rider comes into play." She said as she pointed at the camelid feline, who finally broke free and gently dusted off his suit.

"That's right. Took us a few tries to find the perfect one… But once she laid her eyes on the perfect one… I could tell she found it." The prince confirmed with a gentle smile as he approached the group.

Velencia looked slowly between her parents, cousin, and fiancé before smiling wider as happy tears gently flowed down her cheeks.

"You all… Did this… For me?" She asked in between tiny sniffles.

"Of course we did, Bunny. We all want to see you happy." Fizz answered as he, too, began to tear up. 

"Nothing brings us all greater joy than seeing that beautiful smile on your face." Ozzie joined in as he wiped tears from his eyes.

"Because we care." Rider said as he patted his uncle on the back with a gentle smile on his face.

"And because we love you so much~." Sue sang gently as she reached one of her hands to rest on Velvey's right cheek while she kissed her softly on her left one.

As expected, Velencia began to silently cry more tears of joy as she hugged her fiancé close and began to kiss her cheeks, forehead, and nose. The fox giggled happily as she returned the favor, snuggling closer as she did so… It was perfect… It was everything she dreamed this moment would be… 

So loving…

So airy…

So beautiful…

Surrounded by her loved ones…

Friends and family…

This couldn't possibly get better…

Sue and Velencia were in their own little world of happiness…

Forever…

However, just as the fox was about to think of something else to describe the moment, her fiancé spoke softly in her ear.

"Oh, Sue Sue… My, Sue Sue… I love you… So… So much… You truly are remarkable… You know… You beat me at my own game…" She praised as she hugged her close, causing Sue to wag her tails and hug her back.

"Well, loving and living with the 'Princess of Love and Romance' does something to you, huh?" The fox replied cheekily as she moved her hands to her fiancé's cheeks, rubbed them lovingly, and nuzzled their noses together.

"I guess so… I was planning on doing this in June, but what better time than now?~" Velencia sang gently to Sue, soft enough for only her to hear.

Sue was confused…

What was she…

The fox didn't have time to think when her fiancé grabbed her hands and removed them from her face before placing them over her heart. She rested them there as they looked into each other's eyes… Too in love to even speak… However, after a few moments of looking into her Sue Sue's glittering emerald eyes, Velencia smiled wider as she reached her left hand out to her side…  

Summoning…

A small box…

Seemingly the first person in the group to see what was going on, Sparta's eyes went wide. In response, she stretched out her wings to push everyone back to give the couple some space…

However…

In that moment…

Sue didn't notice it…

All she could do was watch as Velencia brought the small box in front of her and opened it with her magic to reveal… 

A thick, pink, sparkling criss-cross ring…

With a light jade heart in the middle…

Was she…

Sue looked back up into Velencia's eyes, who took that as her cue to start speaking.

"My darling Sue Sue… Ever since I first laid my eyes on you in those roses… My entire being changed forever… You have taught and been with me throughout so many important chapters in my life… You taught me friendship… Courage… Strength… How to open up… But most importantly… You taught me the most important gift of all… How to love someone in the fantastical way I had only seen and read in my stories… You have done the impossible, Sue Sue… There is no one else I would rather have to be near… To hold… To kiss… To praise… To love… You are the light I have been searching for forever… And I am so lucky to have met you… You truly are the most amazing and perfect person in every way possible… Your kindness is made of the sweetest candy… While your talents stem from the beautiful stars… Your beauty is styled from the most gorgeous paintings ever to exist… You are truly the greatest miracle that has ever happened in my life… And it is the highest honor to be called yours… So do you… Sue, Bloom, future Princess of Lust… Allow me to have the honor to call you my wife forever?" The princess asked with a gentle smile, the two heads in her hair forming hearts in their eyes.

Sue blinked quickly at her before a wide smile spread across her face as she threw her arms around her neck.

"YES! YES! YES! OF COURSE! OH, VELVEY! OH, BUNNY! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!" The fox cries happily as she nuzzles closer and bathes in the feeling of Velencia's loving arms and kisses.

Once again, losing themselves in the world of love they created, as the cheers that were around them were drowned out. 

Chapter Text

After their surprise engagements, the two lovebirds spent a few days to themselves before starting to plan their dream wedding. Unsurprisingly, that turned out to be extremely easy, considering the two were romantics and had been saving ideas for years. It's safe to say that the stress of finding the perfect theme was lifted off their shoulders many years ago.

When it comes to their ideas, all of them have remained the same as what they had in their minds. Their wedding colors would be pink, white, and green, with a soft and plush feeling to its atmosphere. They wanted everything to feel airy and loving... After all... That's what they were... To achieve that, they started by combining their similar interests: their wedding's decorations would be adorned with gentle textures, bows, lace, and, of course, their favorite flowers: pink roses and lilies. The feeling of their wedding could be summed up as regal and graceful, with a touch of Lolita sprinkled in. 

However, the one thing that massively changed from their original ideas was their wedding venue. The two, over the years of saving photos online and talking to each other, always pictured themselves getting married in a place that suited both of their frilly, lacey aesthetics. Though, when it came to finding that special place they both adored and fell in love with… The two never found one that felt… Right… However, that immediately changed once their home was gifted to them by Fizz and Ozzie as a belated birthday gift for both of them to change and live in… Which was… How do you say it… Fucking huge!

As Sue and Velencia began their lives there and decorated it to their liking… It was clear to both of them that their home was the perfect place to get married… What they created together, from the bare bones up, was everything they wanted… It was beautiful… Pastel… Gentle… And full of what made them… Them… It was perfect…

Once the wedding theme and location were handled, it was time to decide the people in their wedding parties. While, yes, it was more common for Demon Royalty to forgo that aspect, Sue and Velencia wanted to have that experience. So, the couple decided to have each a best man and two bridesmaids... Which, unexpectedly, led to a brief but massive war in the family chat over who got in. After an hour or so… The final roster was Velencia's wedding party, featuring Charcuterie, Sherbet, and Charlie. While Sue's consisted of Rider, Raspberry, and Sparta… Since Roman and Tart were free from responsibility, the two took it upon themselves to be extra security if needed… Which, honestly, wasn't needed because it would just be them, their family, close colleagues, and some of Velencia's parents' closest staff… 

Then there was Bee… Desperate to be in the wedding party in some form, offered quickly to be the flower girl with Vortex as her pair. Unable to say no, the couple gave her their stamp of approval. Which, of course, led to a shower of “thank yous” and happy tears… Causing Velencia, Sue, and Vortex to smile warmly at her. 

When it came to their catering… It was no brainer to have the Rulers of Gluttony take on that task… They practically begged them to allow them to take it off their plates… So, with happy smiles, the two gave them the colors they wanted and gave the six hounds a slight nod. Knowing they would do amazing since they knew what everyone liked to begin with. 

So… with the most demanding parts of their wedding complete… It was time for the thing they had both been excited about… Their wedding dresses! For their celebration, Velencia and Sue would have two different dresses. One was for their ceremony and most of their reception, while the second would be later on as the reception grew wilder. Once again, as expected, due to their sizes, wants, and ideas, each of their looks for their big day would have to be custom-made to fit them perfectly. Which, Fizz and Ozzie jumped at the opportunity to also pay for…

What? This was their only daughter and the love of her life's wedding! What would they be if they didn't pay for everything to make the girls' dreams come true?! Not like it was a problem for them… Even though Velencia and Sue had millions of their own… The King and Queen loved to spoil them with their endless riches.

After contacting the most talented seamstress they knew and sending her everything she needed, each of the girls took their wedding parties along with Fizz and Ozzie to their final fittings… Which were filled with happy tears, squeals, and praise... 

Velencia's wedding dress was massive, with an emphasis on the massive part, sleeveless, blush-pink dress featuring white accents, a large waterfall bow on the back, diamonds, and satin roses decorating throughout. Her white lace veil was also long with pink fabric rose petals scattering across it before reaching the bottom and forming into the same satin roses on her dress. To top it off, she had a silver crown with spinels that glittered in the light. For her late reception look, she wore a short white dress with gentle pink satin roses paired with a large, long pink bow on the back. With a small, circular brooch made of lace and fabric roses that clipped onto a white lace choker.  

For Sue's wedding dress, the fox had a long, high-low pastel green dress with white accents. Its bodice went over her ribs and crossed her shoulders and neck, connecting to long, flowy off the shoulder sleeves. In the middle, it had a white and green kimono-style belt that was held together with multiple strings of pearls, jades, and a long pastel green rope. To complete it, Sue wore a silver crown with pale jade stones that rested atop a long veil, which ended in lace that resembled lilies. When it came to Sue's late reception look, she wore a shorter, flowy, high-low dress with a massive bow on its left side, decorated with lilies and pearls. To top it off, it had a small, circular, green side hat with a long bow and was accented with white lace. 

They both felt beautiful…

They were perfect…

So…

After a little over a year of planning…

Their big day was finally upon them…

 At long last...

"Oh… Bunny… You look so beautiful…" Asmodeus happily cried as he helped flow out his daughter's veil.

"I couldn't agree with you more, Oz… Our little princess… Is absolutely stunning." Fizz  sniffled as he helped fix the front of her dress to perfection 

"Awww… Mommy… Daddy… You're going to make me cry." Velencia replied as she pulled on her lacey gloves with a gentle smile.

"We can't help it… Our perfect little princess is getting married… It's hard to believe the day is finally here… We are so proud of you, Sweetheart!" The king cried louder as he stepped around to rain kisses all over her left cheek.

Velvey giggled a bit before hugging his arm, snuggling closer, and speaking.

"It's all amazing for me too! I'm super excited to finally marry my Sue Sue! Then, she will be my wife! My wife! Forever and ever!" She said in excitement as she squeezed his arm tighter and began to wag her tail a mile a minute.

"We know! We can't wait to see you finally achieve your dream, Baby girl! We know you have been dying to marry her since the moment you loved her like this!" Fizz added happily as he began to wag his own tail and came over to hug her waist.

The princess giggled happily, causing Fizz to look up at her with a loving smile.

"Though… Even though you are getting married to the love of your life and starting a new chapter of your lives together… You will always be our little princess…" The queen cooed as he stretched up to kiss her on the cheek.

"Awwww! Mommy!" Velvey cried out as she turned around and hugged her mom tight.

Which, of course, he returned much tighter. After a few seconds, Ozzie joined in the hug as well before the Lust family fell into a gentle, loving silence. However, all too soon, Ozzie pulled back slightly and began to talk.

“I’m so excited to walk my little girl down the aisle… I never thought I would find myself in this position yet… Here I am!” He cooed tearily as he began to rain kisses on his cheeks.

The princess chuckled a bit before joining in.

“To be honest… For the longest time… Neither did I… I mean... For so long, I never thought I would fall in love romantically… Let alone have a wedding… But… My Sue Sue changed that forever… She truly is the best person I have ever met… And she’s going to be mine forever… and I, hers… And I’m going to love her forever, and ever, and ever, and ever!” She purred lovingly as she melted, placed her hands to her cheeks, and started to quickly sway back and forth as she blushed harder. 

“Awwww! Now look who’s going to make us cry even more! That is just too cute!” Fizz cheered as he watched her with a loving smile, tears running down his cheeks. 

“My heart just exploded… I need a tissue…”

After a few boxes of tissues were run through, The Lust Family once again found themselves wrapped in a loving hug… Not seeming to want to let go just yet… However, that was soon cut off, but Charcuterie kicked the door open with a box.

“WE ARE BAAAAAAAACCCKKKKK~!” He sang loudly as he held up the box he had in his top pair of paws, which had chocolate and champagne overflowing all over the place. 

“OH MY GOSH, SHUT UP! YOU’RE BEING TOO LOUD!” Sparta hissed as she smacked him hard on his back.

“I’m sorry! I’m sorry! I’m just so fucking excited! It’s almost wedding time! Thought we could have a little celebration before you go out, Velers!” The prince said as he walked in and set his offerings on a table.

“Awww… You guys… That is so sweet! You didn’t have to do this!”

“Didn’t have to!? Of course, we did! Our older cousin and best friend is getting married! Now take this.” Sherbet said with a smile as she levitated a white chocolate truffle to Velencia.

As the group enjoyed their treats and time ticked closer to the ceremony, Fizz got a thought.

“Hey, Bunny… I have something to ask you… I want to know what you think.” 

Velencia looked down at him and blinked a few times before smiling.

“Of course, Mommy! What is it?” She asked softly, putting her hands on her knees and leaning down to meet her mom’s eyes.

“I was thinking…” Fizz said before whispering his idea in her ear.

After he was done, he pulled back to gauge her reaction. Velencia blinked at him a few times before quickly blinking and breaking into a massive smile on her face.

“OH! MOMMY! That is so sweet! That is going to mean so much to her!” 

"You think so?" He asked with a smile.

"OF COURSE! You should 100% do that!" Velvey answered with gentle, loving tears forming in the corners of her eyes.

The queen smiled lovingly back as he gently wiped away her tears and kissed her on the forehead.

"Then that's exactly what I will do. See you all in 10 at the ceremony." Fizz said before walking towards the door.

"See you, Mommy! I love you!"

"Bye, my love!"

"See you, Fizz man!"

"Bye!"

"Bye!" 

"I love you too! See you later!" He replied with a slight chuckle at their send-off before opening the door and leaving. 

“Okay! It’s salt, then lime, thennnn shot!” Raspberry said as she dunked her shot glass back.

“So salt… then shot-”

“YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!” The hound yelled at her cousin.

“Wait, really? Cause I feel great!” Rider cheered as he held up his glass.

“Rider, this is the first time I have ever seen you drunk.” Sue chuckled as she watched from her vanity. 

“Well, I turned 21 last year… So that’s why… Though, I don’t feel drunk, just more talkative.” He shrugged with a large smile.

“WOAH! RIDER! THAT IS THE LONGEST I HAVE HEARD YOU TALK IN ONE GO IN A LOOOONNNGGGG TIME!” Charlie cooed as she raced over to lovingly pinch his cheeks.

“Yeah, well, today is a special occasion.” He mumbled in between both sides of his face being squished together.

Sue and Raspberry chuckled at their antics before the Gluttony princess turned to the fox with a gentle smile.

“You truly look beautiful, Sue… You ready to marry your future wifey?”

“Thank you, Rasmataze; I feel beautiful! And yes, very much so~.” The fox sang gently as she puffed up her nine tails and began to wag them.

“Oh, I bet you are! Ready to tie the knot at 24? You sure you don’t want to party some more?” Raspberry teased jokingly as she came over to give her friend a hug.

“Nope, I’m 100% sure! I have been thinking of this moment for years… I can’t wait to call her all mine~.” Sue purred as she returned the favor.

“Ooooo! Watch out; your greedy side is coming out! People are going to get ideas on what you guys are into!”

“Oh, don’t worry… She likes it when I am like this~!”

“SHIT! REALLY!? Eh… Not too surprised.” Raspberry shrugged her top pair of arms, causing Sue to laugh a bit.

The pair laughed a bit before they heard a knock on the door. Curious to see who it was, Raspberry flew over and opened the door. Upon spotting Fizz, she let out a loud gasp.

“OH MY GOSH! SUE! YOUR FUTURE MOTHER-IN-LAW IS HERE!” The princess yelled over her shoulder, causing Fizz to laugh.

“That I am, Berry girl. What is going on in here?” He asked as he walked into the room.

“Rider was getting drunk.”

“I’m not drunk- Stop that.” The prince said as he pushed his cousin away from his face.

Sue, Fizz, and Raspberry laughed a bit before the princess spoke.

“Alright, guys, I think Fizz wants to talk to his future daughter-in-law. Best give them the space to do that. SEE YOU IN A LITTLE BIT GIRL!” She exclaimed as she ushered the others out.

“See you guys later! Thank you for spending time with me.” The fox giggled as she waved them off.

“OF COURSE! WE LOVE YOU BITCH!” Raspberry cheered before finally closing the door.  

There was a brief moment of silent laughter before Fizz broke the silence.

“You look stunning, Sue Fox! Are you ready to get married?” He asked as he approached the seat next to her.

“Yep, bet I am! I have never been so sure of anything in my whole life… How’s Bunny?”

“Oh… You know… She is the definition of a ‘blushing bride.’ All she talks about when we don’t bring up something else is marrying you.” Fizz chuckled before sitting down.

“Yeah… Sounds about right. Though, I can’t say I’m any better than she is.” Sue laughed as a blush spread across her face.

“I can imagine. You two have always been all over each other. Reminds me of someone else I know.” He replied with a smile.

There was once again a moment of silence before the queen continued to speak.

“How are you holding up? About… Your dad…” He treaded carefully, knowing how sensitive it was.

Sue blinked at the ground a few times with a gentle smile.

“It’s… A little hard… I know he has been gone for almost 13 years… But I still wish he was here… You know…?” She answered as she wiped a tear from the corner of her eye.

“I get it, Sweetheart… I know it’s hard when you want people here to experience things, but… Are unable to… But… I can say without a shadow of a doubt… He would be so happy and proud of how far you have come…” Fizz added while gently pulling her into a side hug.

The fox sniffled a bit before leaning in.

“Thank you… So much Fizz… That means a lot… It’s hard to explain, but… I know he is… I feel like he is always with me… Even right now…”

“I’m sure he is… He wouldn’t miss this for anything.”

The pair fell into another moment of content silence for a while… After a few minutes, Fizz pulled back and looked at Sue’s face with a smile.

“Since I am here minutes before the ceremony… I must explain why, huh?”

Sue smiled wider at him before nodding. He took in a deep breath before continuing. 

"Sue… Ever since you started living with us… Hell, way before that… I have always seen you as a part of the family… You're like a daughter to me and… I was wondering… If you would give me the honor to walk you down the aisle?… I know I will never replace your dad, but… You mean a lot to me, and I would love to help your father get you where you want to go. Would that be okay for me to do?" Fizz asked with a gentle smile.

The fox stared at him with a stunned expression before tearing up, smiling wider, and nodding.   

"Yes… I would love that… Thank you…" She said in between happy sniffles as Fizz pulled her into another hug.

As the ceremony time drew closer, Lucifer stood proudly alone under the rose and lily arch, gazing out at the crowd that sat in the middle of the room while simultaneously flickering his eyes to the two aisles that curved into the shape of a heart where he was standing. Huh… Wonder what sparked that sudden change in design… Though, it was still as beautiful as before… Maybe even more so…

Ahhh… Despite how many times he did this… He would never trade it for the world… It meant everything to know his siblings trusted him enough to initiating not only for their weddings but also for their childrens... And he had a feeling… there was more on the horizon. However, his thoughts were soon cut short by the sound of music gently starting to play. The two curtains at the top opened to reveal the flower girls, Bee and Vortex… Who did a fantastic job showering the aisles with hundreds of lily and rose buds. After they arrived at their places, the wedding parties emerged and slowly walked to their respective spots…

Then… 

The moment everyone waited for…

The music grew louder…

As the brides stepped out.

While the two continued their strolls, they paid no mind to the gasps and loving comments and only focused on eachother… Their eyes were so full of love and wanting as they gazed upon each other… Honestly, it took everything within them to not run to each other themselves… Luckily for them, after a minute of walking and getting a few last words from Fizz and Ozzie, the girls stood face to face… However irritated that she wasn’t holding Sue’s hands in hers, Velencia quickly tossed her bouquet to Charcuterie without taking her eyes off her fox. After a few chuckles got out of everyone, Sue quickly moved her bouquet to be held by one of her tails before holding her princess’ hands...  

As Lucifer started talking and the two looked deeper into each other's eyes…

Nothing in all of Hell felt more right…

They were standing with eachother…

In front of their friends…

Family…

Their love was so bright that it shined across all who were there in that moment.

They were free…

They were whole…

They were home…

It was their own perfect, ever lasting paradise…

“Velencia, do you take Sue to be your lawfully wedded wife and Princess of Lust for eternity?”

“I do.” She cooed as she rested her forehead against Sue’s while pulling her closer.  

“And do you, Sue, take Velencia to be your lawfully wedded wife and Princess of Lust for eternity?”

“I do.” The fox replied as she squeezed her hands tighter and nuzzled closer.

“By the power invested in me and this spell, I pronounce you eternal rulers of Lust! You may now kiss the bride!”

Without a second delay, Velencia picked Sue up, and the couple shared the most loving kiss while the spell flowed around them like ribbons.

While their family cheered and cried tears of joy, the newlyweds couldn't help but hug each other closer as their new life together pushed open a beautiful door that revealed their future together… They would be beside each other's sides for the rest of time…

There was so much to do…

So much to say…

So much to experience…

So much there… But…

That was exactly what they wanted…

And as the pair pulled away slightly and looked into each other's eyes…  

They knew they were ready…

After all…

It was love at first sight…

Their fates had forever been sealed upon that fateful day at the garden…

The garden where their worlds collided and changed forever...
