Jet didn't like being in the field. Being in the field came with its own set of dangers and rules. However, first and foremost, she was a detective, so sometimes, she needed a little extra fieldwork. That didn't mean she had to like it. "Being behind a computer is much better than being in the field," Jet simply said, turning to Stabler.
"Don't worry, kiddo. We will have you back behind your desk soon," Stabler told the younger woman, who scowled in response.
"Keep that promise, old man," Jet softly said as she turned back to the person she and Stabler were watching. Stabler watched the person they were looking for, waiting for the woman to make a move.
