Chapter Text

Everyone watched Kratos and Atreus embrace eachother with a mix of emotions. Some were teary eyed at the father-son moment, others were watching in sheer awe at how much Kratos had grown from the man they had just seen on screen to now.

After a few solid minutes of embracing and reassurances, the father-son duo hesitantly let go of each other and pull away. 

That was until text appeared on the screen that read, "Imma give you guys a solid 45 minute break with some pajamas, snacks and drinks, aight? Aight." The person typing out that text didn't wait for a response as their armor all dissolved and turned into pajamas. Well, except Mimir, he had had a neck pillow around his neck now.

Drinks manifested into the cupholders while 5 tables worth of snacks and food and other drinks were brought in.

Everyone chatted with eachother for a bit, enjoying the snacks and spectating what they could be watching next. That was until three bodies fell through the ceiling; Magni, Modi and Baldur which caused a few jaws to drop a bit and a few pairs of eyes to widen slightly.

Magni and Modi's armor was exchanged for pajamas as well and their weapons were promptly taken away while Baldur got a simply pair of grey sweatpants and pink bunny slippers.

Text started appearing on the screen. It read, "Eveyone, welcome or don't, that's up to you Magni, Modi and Baldur, the sons of Thor and the son of Odin. And Freya."

Atreus's eyes widened slightly and he turned to look at Freya, "Your son was that stranger that attacked us..?" He whispered over to her.

Freya sighed deeply, "It seems so.." She muttered in response as she noticed Baldur glaring straight daggers into her skull.

"Boys, take a seat." Said the text on screen. Magni let out a deep breath before he brought his younger brother and uncle to another row of seats. Modi passed by the Ithacan royal family and he shot a wink at Telemachus.

Odysseus glared at Modi but didn't say anything. He leaned over to Penelope, "I don't like them already.."

Penelope shook her head slightly, "Neither do I, love.." she muttered before the next part of Kratos's life started playing out before them once more.

Chapter Text

  Mount Olympus

Narrator: By defeating Ares, Kratos, the once mortal warrior became the new God of War. However, Kratos soon found himself alone on Olympus, shunned by his fellow gods.

Baldur, Magni and Modi watched the scene and listened to the narrator with growing interest.

[Kratos stands from his throne and walks forward. He approaches a large circular structure in the ground that presents him with a view of a savage battle that is taking place between his Spartan army and Rhodes soldiers.]

"Ugh, this guys gets a throne and we don't?" Modi asked, crossing his feet over the other as he drank the beer that was supplied by the Host.

"Shut up." Telemachus and Atreus said at the same time, which promptly caused Modi to shut up. But he spared a quick glance at Telemachus before looking back at the screen.

Narrator: But Kratos had no need for the love of petty gods. He had found a new family in the warriors of Sparta. Bringing solace from his past with carnage and battle.

Young Spartan: My lord, Kratos! Another city is ready to fall! Soon all shall know the glory of Sparta!

"Sparta is glorius enough, my fellow Spartan." Penelope says as she glanced at Kratos who simply nodded in response.

[Kratos walks away from the structure to find Athena standing in his path.]

Athena: Enough Kratos! With every city you destroy, the wrath of Olympus grows. Soon I will no longer be able to protect you.

"Ah, finally we see Athena's physical form." Hermes remarked as he popped a piece of honey cereal into his mouth, "Plus, Kratos is a grown man who crawled out of the River Styx itself, he can handle being without protection."

"It sounds like Kratos has destroyed a hefty amount of cities too. With how panicked and concerned my alternate version seems." Athena commented.

[Kratos brushes her off.]

Kratos: I need no protection!

[Athena continues to try to reason with Kratos.]

Athena: Do not forget that it was I who made you a god, Ghost of Sparta. Do not turn your back on me.

Kratos: I owe you nothing!

"I mean.. He's sorta right." Mimir said, shrugging if he just could.

[Kratos turns and walks away from her.]

Athena: Then you leave me no choice...

"That sounds oddly ominous." Mimir remarked.

"Everything this version of Athena does is ominous." Zeus added, "Uh. No offense, daughter of mine."

"None taken." Athena responded with a shrug.

[Kratos is seen approaching the ledge of Mount Olympus and leaping downward to join his fellow comrades in battle on the Earth below.]

"That's actually a very cool exit. I'll have to try it some time." Hermes said with a chuckle.

Narrator: Kratos had turned the pain of his memories into hatred, hatred for the gods, who had refused to free him from the nightmares of his past duties. And so he went to Rhodes to deliver the final blow to the besieged city.

"Ah, wait.. Is this the Battle of Rhodes?" Odysseus asked, "You served in the Battle of Rhodes and the Trojan War?"

"I did not serve in the Trojan War, I lived long enough to witness it." Kratos responded which earned a slight nod of understanding from Odysseus.

City of Rhodes

[Kratos reigns down from the skies like an asteroid, striking the ancient city of Rhodes. He emerges in his god form, bearing a size that could match that of the Titans. He begins to destroy what is left of the city and its army. Just then, a peculiar looking eagle uses some type of magic on Kratos.]

"Is that Father?" Hermes asked, tilting his head slightly.

Kratos: Athena!! You conspire against me!?

"Wow, I was way off.." Hermes muttered, shaking his head slightly before he paused, "Wait, why is Athena an eagle? I thought her bird was an owl and Father's was an eagle!"

[The same eagle approaches the Colossus statue in the distance and uses similar magic to fill the hollow structure with life. With the magic that was used on Kratos taking full effect, he is reduced to human size.]

"Did Athena take your godhood away?" Atreus asked, glancing up at Kratos whos simply grunted. "I'll take that as a yes." 

Kratos: Athena! You will suffer for this!!

[Kratos is attacked by masses of Rhodes soldiers, but easily and viciously slaughters them all without mercy. Three soldiers taking shelter behind a metal gate cannot believe what they've just seen.]

Rhodes Soldier: By the Gods, he's killed them all! He still has some of the powers of a god! Ruuuunn!

"Yeah, that's.. Probably your best course of action." Telemachus said with a shrug.
