An Unexpected Visitor
Miyo hummed happily as she cooked breakfast for her and Kiyoka. While she was cooking breakfast, Kiyoka was getting ready to go to work. Thirty minutes later Miyo finished cooking breakfast. Miyo brought the hot dishes from the kitchen into the dining room. The couple sat down and ate breakfast together. While Kiyoka was brushing his teeth, Miyo packed up his lunch in his bento box. When Kiyoka finished brushing his teeth he walked into the sitting room to say goodbye to Miyo and their unborn twin daughters. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and said, “Darling, are you sure that you are going to be okay on your own?” Miyo caressed his cheek and softly said, “Honey the babies and I are going to be fine. Don't worry honey, everything is going to be fine.” Kiyoka said, “Okay my darling I don't want you to overexert yourself today my love.” Miyo smiled and said, “Okay honey I'll just do some light housework.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and said, “I'm leaving now my darling. I love you so much. I'll see you later my love.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s baby bump and said, “Goodbye my precious little angels. Papa loves you so much. I'll see you later, my precious little angels.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s baby bump again. Miyo blushed deeply as Kiyoka kissed and he lovingly caressed Miyo’s baby bump. As Miyo handed him his briefcase, his car keys, and his bento box. Miyo kissed Kiyoka on his lips and she caressed his cheek. Miyo said, “Goodbye honey I love you too. Have a good day at work darling.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and he caressed her cheek. After Kiyoka said goodbye to his wife and daughters he left for work.
After Kiyoka left for work Miyo washed and dried the dishes. She also cleaned up the kitchen and brought the mail and the newspaper inside of the house. When she was finished Miyo was tired. She decided to take a nap. Miyo walked into their bedroom and she changed into her rose and cherry blossom yukata. Miyo grabbed her stuffed bunny and she laid down. Miyo lovingly caressed her baby bump and said, “Sweet dreams my precious little flowers. Mama loves you so much, rest well my little darlings.” Thirty minutes later Miyo fell asleep snuggling her stuffed bunny while cradling her baby bump. Four hours later Miyo woke up. Miyo gently caressed her baby bump and asked, “Are you hungry, my precious little flowers? Don't worry Mama is going to cook lunch for you.” Miyo smiled as she felt her daughters move and kick inside of her belly. Miyo got up from the bed and put on a simple kimono. After Miyo finished getting dressed she walked into the kitchen to start cooking lunch for her and their unborn daughters. An hour later Miyo finished cooking lunch, she sat down and ate her lunch. After lunch Miyo washed and dried the dishes. When Miyo was finished with the dishes she heard the phone ring. Miyo answered the phone and said, “Hello honey I miss you.” Kiyoka said, “Hello my darling, I miss you too. Darling, how are you doing?” Miyo smiled and said, “Honey I am doing great today. I just took a nap and I made some lunch.” Kiyoka said, “I'm glad that you are doing well my darling. Do you need anything my darling?” Miyo said, “Honey, could you please bring home some vanilla macarons and some profiteroles please.” Kiyoka said, “Okay my darling I will get your vanilla macarons and profiteroles.” Miyo happily replied, “Thank you so much honey. I really appreciate it.” Kiyoka chuckled and said, “You are so adorable my love.” Kiyoka said, “I have to go now my darling. I love you so very much Miyo. I will see you later. Goodbye my precious Miyo.” Miyo blushed and said, “I will see you later honey. I love you too honey. Goodbye my Kiyoka.” Miyo hangs up the phone and she grabs a new romance novel that she bought while she was in town with Kiyoka. Miyo laid down on the couch with a pillow behind her back and her feet propped up on a pillow. She had made some chamomile tea to drink while she read her book.
Miyo was reading her novel when she heard a knock at the door. Miyo put down her book and said, “Who could that be? I'm not expecting anyone.” Miyo got up from the couch and she fixed her kimono and she answered the door. Miyo gasped when she saw that Minoru Tatsuishi was standing on their doorstep. Minoru bowed and said, “Hello Lady Miyo, it's been a long time since I have last seen you.” Miyo was shocked she wasn't expecting to see him here at her home. Minoru smiled stiffly and asked, “Aren't you going to let your uncle Minoru inside of your lovely home.” Miyo had no choice but to let him in due to her pregnancy she couldn't fight back. His powers were pretty strong but not strong as her husband’s. But Miyo still couldn't risk it because she was alone. Miyo nervously replied, “Why don't you come inside.” Miyo and Minoru entered the house. They walked into the sitting room and Miyo nervously got another teacup and poured them some tea and they looked at each other in an awkward silence. Minoru smiled and asked, “Congratulations on your pregnancy Miyo. I heard that you're having twin daughters. How are you feeling, Miyo?” Miyo internally rolled her eyes because he didn't care about her. He knew about her abuse and neglect that she suffered from her family but he didn't do anything to help Miyo. Miyo answered, “I'm doing well. Kiyoka and I couldn't be more thrilled.” Minoru smiled stiffly and said, “I'm so happy for you Miyo.” Minoru and Miyo sipped their tea as they sat in silence. Miyo remembered the day when she got kidnapped. She had walked to Kiyoka's job with Yurie to deliver a bento box filled with food because she was worried about him. After they dropped off Kiyoka's bento box, Miyo realized that she didn't have the amulet that Kiyoka gave her. Miyo and Yurie decided to go back home quickly. While she was on her way home a car pulled up to her and some men snatched her. When she woke up she was back at the Saimori estate where she was beaten and tortured until Kiyoka rescued her. While she was recovering from her injuries, Miyo learned that Minoru planned the kidnapping with her family. She felt so angry that all of this happened because he was desperate to get the Usuba bloodline to mix with the Tatsuishi bloodline.
Miyo shivered at the memory she had never felt more scared then that moment. Miyo hesitantly asked, “Mr Tatsuishi what brings you here?” Minoru smiled and said, “I'm here to make a proposal. I was thinking about how great it would be if one of your daughters marries one of my future grandsons. It would be great for both of our families.” Miyo laid back against the couch in shock. Miyo affectionately cradled her baby bump and she thought about their daughters. She wondered if one of her daughters would inherit her dream sight ability. Miyo was worried about her daughters future if they inherited the dream sight ability. Miyo feared that they would be used and mistreated by anyone else for nefarious purposes or their powers could be used to take over the government again or if they were going to be used as breeding mares like her mother. Miyo wanted her daughters to be loved and cared for who they are and not because of their rare abilities. Miyo had to be careful because she was home alone and she couldn't risk angering him. Miyo didn't want him to hurt her or her daughters. Miyo cradled her baby bump and quietly said, “I think that I need to talk to Kiyoka first before I make any decisions if you don't mind.” Minoru said, “I understand, take your time.” Minoru scowled because he hated Kiyoka. Minoru felt that Kiyoka took Miyo away from the Tatsuishi family. Minoru smirked inwardly that this was a brilliant plan. If he could convince Miyo to marry one of her daughters into the Tatsuishi family then they could rebuild their reputation that was destroyed by Lord Kudo and they could also have the dream sight ability in their family. Miyo sighed softly as she felt her daughters move and kick. Minoru smiled a fake smile and said, “Are your daughters kicking you?” Before Miyo could answer Minoru walked over to Miyo and he put his hands on her baby bump. As he felt Miyo’s baby bump, Minoru said, “Wow, your daughters are so healthy and strong.” Miyo felt so uncomfortable with Minoru touching her baby bump. Just as she was about to say something to Minoru. She saw Kiyoka enter the sitting room. Miyo said, "Kiyoka, you're home." Kiyoka was furious, his eyes turned an icy blue and there was a blue outline surrounding him. The vein in Kiyoka’s forehead throbbed. Kiyoka said in a menacing voice, “Step away from my wife.” Minoru must have realized how bad it looks to be touching the woman that he planned a kidnapping for. Minoru raised his arms in the air and he walked away from Miyo. Kiyoka walked over to Minoru with his saber in his hand. Kiyoka asked, “What are you doing here? What do you want?” Minoru said, “I just came by to see Miyo and I had a proposition for you.” Kiyoka menacingly said, “Whatever your proposition is, we're not interested. Get out and don't come back here again.” Minoru sarcastically replied, “Lord Kudo, you should really work on controlling your temper. You have the twins and your wife to think about.” Kiyoka glared at Minoru as Minoru drank the rest of his tea. Minoru acted like he wasn't one wrong word or action away from getting punched or being electrocuted by Kiyoka’s saber. Minoru replied sarcastically, “I see that I have overstayed my welcome. I will be going now. Miyo, I just want you to think about my proposal. Goodbye Lord and Lady Kudo.” Minoru grabbed his hat and bowed but he didn't have any respect for Kiyoka. Minoru left the house with Kiyoka following him to make sure that Minoru was leaving the house.
As Kiyoka walked out of the house he was angry. Kiyoka thought to himself that Minoru had some nerve coming into his home and touching his precious Miyo’s baby bump. When he entered the house and saw Minoru touching her baby bump he got angry. Kiyoka was nervous because he thought that Minoru was going to hurt her and their unborn daughters. Kiyoka took a deep breath, he needed to go inside to check on Miyo and their unborn daughters. Five minutes later Kiyoka comes back into the sitting room with the coldness and the iciness gone from his eyes. Kiyoka had put away his saber and the blue outline surrounding him was gone. Kiyoka walked over to Miyo and he caressed her cheek. He softly asked, “Are you alright my love? He didn’t hurt you or our daughters, did he?” Kiyoka checked Miyo’s face for any signs of injury. Miyo blushed and said, “Our daughters and I are fine and he didn't try to hurt us.” Kiyoka sighed a relieved sigh and he kissed Miyo on the lips. Kiyoka laid down on the couch and he laid his head on Miyo’s baby bump. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s belly and said, “Hello my precious little angels are you okay. Papa missed you so very much.” Miyo giggled as Kiyoka repeatedly kissed her belly. Kiyoka sighed as he felt their daughters move and kick inside of her belly. For a while Kiyoka laid his head on her belly while Miyo ran her fingers through his hair. Kiyoka asked, “Darling, what was the proposal that Minoru was talking about?” Miyo kissed his lips and said, “Minoru wanted one of our daughters to marry one of his grandsons.” Kiyoka scowled and said, “Absolutely not, our daughters are not marrying into the Tatsuishi family. I want our daughters to be with someone who cares about who they are. I don't trust Minoru not to hurt our daughters.” Miyo agreed with him and Kiyoka got up from the couch and said, “I got your macarons and your profiteroles my darling.” Miyo smiled happily and said, “Yay thank you so much honey.” Miyo sat up and she gave Kiyoka a hug and kiss. Kiyoka said, “You're welcome my darling. You are so precious Miyo.” Miyo blushed and she gave Kiyoka a kiss. Kiyoka massaged Miyo’s feet while she ate some vanilla macarons and a profiterole. After Miyo finished eating her vanilla macarons and her profiterole she sat in Kiyoka’s lap and she snuggled deeper into Kiyoka’s chest. Kiyoka wrapped his arms around her waist and he held her close.
An hour later Miyo decided to make dinner for her and Kiyoka. Miyo made beef sukiyaki with fried tofu and rice. While Miyo was cooking dinner, Kiyoka called Kazushi to let him know that his father came to Kiyoka’s and Miyo’s home uninvited. Kazushi apologized on his father's behalf. Kazushi promised Kiyoka that Minoru wasn't going to bother them anymore. The couple ate their dinner together and Kiyoka helped Miyo wash and dry the dishes. When they were finished Kiyoka picked her up and carried her down the hallway towards their bedroom. Miyo squealed happily as he put her down on the floor in their bedroom. Kiyoka and Miyo got ready for bed. When they were ready for bed they climbed into bed. Miyo snuggled up next to Kiyoka and she sighed happily. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and he ran his fingers through Miyo’s hair. Kiyoka asked, “Are you tired my darling?” Miyo yawned and tiredly said, “Yes I am so sleepy.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s baby bump and said, “Sweet dreams my precious little angels. Mama and papa love you so very much.” Kiyoka and Miyo smiled as they felt their daughters move and kick. Kiyoka read a bedtime story to the twins until the twins fell asleep. Kiyoka said, “Goodnight my darling, I love you so much. Rest well my love.” Miyo said, “Goodnight honey I love you too. Sweet dreams my Kiyoka.” Miyo and Kiyoka kissed and cuddled until they both fell asleep.
