Earthbound

Summary:

When grasping at memories becomes like trying to catch fallen sand, it is only natural some slip through.

For all grandeur that Ishigami Senku may be, in the end he is little more than human.

Work Text:

Low Earth Orbit

Senku has always been considered to have exceptional memory, but three thousand seven hundred and nineteen years is a few too many millennia more than any human was ever intended to live. It’s only natural that any remnants of humanity have been washed away by the tides of time, leaving little more than whispers of the past in wake of their absence. After all, time waits for no man, so why should some high school boy from Japan be the lone exception? Especially when not a single one of history’s most influential figures had gotten even a millimeter closer to evading time since the birth of the stars. Hell even Tony Stark hadn’t.

Essentially, trying to outrun father time is one billion percent impossible.
