   Summary

   Sonic is not a hero in this world.
   He is a broken slave, sold to a ruthless pirate captain, who commands a warship feared for its brutality. What was once gift of underwater royalty became a burden, as every now and then he has to endure a painful transformation to mermobian. Shadow, also known as The Dark Corsair, feared amongst the oceans and seas, find him and save him from the agony he endures. The crew goes on a adventure to find out how to fix Sonic's birthright, and maybe uncover his past while at it. Will they succeed?
