Things We Buried Low (Coming to the Surface Now)

Summary:

His nose wrinkled at Ryusei’s words, a sigh slipping from his lips as he jabbed his fingers into his side to get him to shut up. Rin’s relationship with Sae was better now, but Ryusei loved nothing more than to bring up how they used to be around each other.

Harsh words, stilted conversations, Rin slinking around and internally promising destruction to his brother and his career before they both finally grew up a bit and realized that they were both being total assholes for no reason other than a bullshit argument they had years ago, back when Sae didn’t know how to fully communicate what he was feeling upon his first return home from Spain, and when Rin had no way to take it other than vowing to make him regret everything he had said.

Or, Rin and Ryusei go to visit Sae in Spain during one of their breaks, eager to get back to their boy.

Notes:

For Day 7 of polyship week, our free day!

This one really got away from me. I went in with no plans, nothing but a dream lmfaoo. Rinsaeshi has been stuck in my head since the event for it in January and god did I enjoy writing for them.

Obligatory note that I do not care if anyone is squicked out by it. It was tagged fully and (if the tags were read) then everyone knows what they were getting into, so! Not like it's my first time posting rinsae either bahaha.

Title from Sugar- Sleep Token

Work Text:

“I cannot believe you’re dragging me to the airport at four in the morning,” Rin said as he dragged his suitcase behind him, body still heavy with sleep as he trailed after his boyfriend to security. “Where are we even going?”

“Can’t I plan an impromptu trip for us before the season starts?” Ryusei grinned, looking over his shoulder and snickering at the grumpy expression he was met with. “The destination is a surprise–well, until we get to the gate and it spoils it, I guess.”

“You’re fucking annoying,” Rin said, pushing past him to line up behind the other travelers. “Why did I ever decide to put up with you?”

Ryusei just cracked a grin, looping an arm around Rin’s shoulders and tugging him into his side. “Because you decided I wasn’t as bad as you had originally assumed back in Blue Lock and ended up confessing your undying love for me two years later.”

“It was not undying love,” Rin huffed, leaning into his boyfriend’s touch despite his demeanor. “It was a moment of weakness, and now I’m stuck with you.”

“Whatever you say, pretty boy,” Ryusei teased lightly, pressing a kiss to the top of his head before they began moving through the line.

Not many people were at the airport at such an early hour, which was the only thing Rin found acceptable about being here this early. There would be fewer crowds, less time waiting in line, and he’d be able to sleep on the plane and not have to be tormented by how long the trip would take.

He was never a fan of flying. Ryusei, on the other hand, was jetting off to god only knows where whenever he had the chance. Rin had an entire shelf of souvenirs that his boyfriend would bring home. Rin adamantly refused to admit that getting a new trinket to add to the collection was something he looked forward to whenever Ryusei travelled, but his boyfriend could see how his eyes lit up whenever he’d come home and pull it out of his suitcase.

Rin vehemently denies getting excited about it. Ryusei thinks it’s his favorite sight in the world.

The line moves rather quickly. Everything goes smoothly for the two of them as they empty their pockets and step through the metal detectors before coming out on the other side to retrieve their things, grab their suitcases, and head down the walkway to their gate.

Ryusei is far too energetic for being awake so early, his hand clasped around Rin’s tightly as they go to find the gate they’re supposed to be at. Rin thinks it’s a little cute, the sight of his boyfriend without his usual eyeliner and his hair down for once, pink tips brushing against his shoulders.

It’s a rare sight to see, usually reserved for when they’re just about to go to sleep or waking up in the morning. Rin is used to sitting on the counter while his boyfriend painstakingly applies his eyeliner, gently teasing Rin and asking if he wants to try some too. Rin will just scowl and tell him to keep the damn brush away from his eyes. Ryusei will laugh and relent, but not without sneaking a kiss before going right back to it.

They’ve fallen into a domesticity that Rin would’ve never imagined for the two of them. How often do people who are constantly at each other’s throats calm down enough to share an apartment and a bed every night? It was an outcome he never would’ve expected. If anything, he had thought they’d just kind of forget about each other once the Blue Lock program had ended and just gone on their own separate paths.

Unfortunately, just as Ryusei loved to tease him about, Rin very much did confess to being in love with him a few years after it had ended. Something along the lines of, I think I hated you so much because I was confused about how I felt about you. You drove me insane, yet I always found myself seeking you out, even after the program ended.

He had never seen Ryusei at a loss for words until that moment. Rin was ready to run after his halfassed confession was met with silence until the other boy had laughed, nothing teasing or rude, but sounding relieved as he tugged Rin into his arms and trapped him against his chest.

The rest was history after that.

“How far is this fucking gate?” Rin huffed as they continued walking, eyes trailing over each one they passed. “I swear if you’re fucking with me and we’re just here to waste time I’m going to kill you.”

“Relax, Rin Rin,” Ryusei rolled his eyes playfully, glancing at him fondly. “It’s just right up ahead. Gate 26.”

“I told you to stop calling me that,” Rin muttered, letting Ryusei tug him over to their gate as they finally approached.

Ryusei shook his head dramatically, placing his free hand over his chest as he feigned hurt. “You wound me, Rin Rin. You know I love calling you that.”

Rin did know that. It was the only consistent nickname he had from his boyfriend. Irritating as it may be, there was some tiny part of him that enjoyed it, especially with the way Ryusei’s voice would turn up slightly at the end in excitement or happiness. He would never give him the satisfaction of knowing that it was cute in some way. Feigned irritation was always the way to go.

They settled down in some empty seats by the gate, close enough to be among the first few to board but still far enough not to be bothered by the other few passengers who were also beginning to arrive. Ryusei settled into the seat, knowing they wouldn’t be boarding for another hour, so they had time to relax. Rin took the time to look around, his eyes drifting to the screen next to the counter displaying the destination and boarding times.

Rin sighed, eyes narrowing slightly as he looked at the screen before looking back to Ryusei. “Seriously?” He asked. “We’re going to Spain?”

“Yep,” Ryusei grinned, eyes sparkling with amusement as he took in the pure look of exasperation on Rin’s face. “We haven’t gone in forever, you know that. Sae has some off days, so he told me to come and bring you along.”

“You could’ve gone alone and just said I had something to do here and that I couldn’t come with,” Rin muttered, looking back at the screen that flashed a simple rundown of boarding and takeoff times.

Ryusei just shrugged, nudging his shoulder against Rin’s to get him to relax. “I know you miss your brother despite acting like you don’t,” he said. “Now that you guys aren’t at each other’s throats all the time, being around you simultaneously is much more enjoyable.”

Rin scowled yet leaned against Ryusei anyway, too drowsy to argue. “You liked it when we were still fighting. Said it was hot , like a fucking freak.”

“It was hot,” Ryusei laughed. “There is nothing better than watching two pretty boys argue with each other.”

Ryusei was one of the reasons they got over themselves and apologized. From the time he had spent with Sae during the U20 match they had played and the persistent annoyances he’d floated his way when Sae gave him his phone number, Rin’s brother had broken down a bit. It took longer for Rin to give in, for him to listen to his boyfriend and let Sae apologize on a trip he had taken to go and visit the two of them.

It was awkward. Rin hated every minute of it, yet the hopeful, almost hesitant look that he had seen in Sae’s eyes as he tried to find the words to apologize and finally tell Rin everything he had been longing for years to hear had worked. Rin was nothing if not soft for his brother, far too enamoured even after years of little to no contact. There were still periods where one of them would speak a little too harshly to the other, glares being thrown or quick little spats that Ryusei had to mediate, much to his enjoyment.

It was in the Itoshi blood to get irritated quickly. Rin thinks that he and Sae will always butt heads, even if their relationship is nearly back to how it was before Sae went to Spain when he was 13. They were old enough now to talk through it after taking time to be pissed and then cool off, though.

There was still that familiar ache in his chest whenever they were together. Rin never quite gave up on the silly notion that they’d be together forever, a promise that he knew was a wash by now but was still etched into his heart as if it were engraved, never to be lost. He knew Sae still felt it, too, the way their reunion hugs would last longer than they probably should.

Ryusei picked up on it quickly. No matter how hard Rin had tried to hide it, no matter how often Sae would smack him on the back of his head and tell him that he was crazy. Even a blind man could see the undercurrent of tension that would build between them. If anyone asked Ryusei, he’d say he had an idea of it long before the two had even made up. It wasn’t hard to tell that something between them went deeper than a typical familial bond.

He definitely wasn’t complaining, though. If anything, Ryusei was ecstatic with this revelation when Rin finally broke down one night and spilled everything. It took a while longer for Sae to say anything about it, not wanting to put his and his brother’s business out into the open, but eventually he gave in as well.

Rin thought that Ryusei would find it weird. Maybe disgusting or disgraceful, too, if he really took the time to think about it. Ryusei was nothing if not supportive, though, eyes lighting up with nothing but pure intrigue and maybe a little bit of arousal as well. While Rin was near a panic thinking his boyfriend would leave him after learning the fact that he was fucked up by societal standards, Ryusei was busy working behind the scenes to try and get the brothers back together.

Back where they belonged.

“Don’t look so happy, Rin Rin,” Ryusei teased him lightly, leaning over and pressing a sloppy kiss to his cheek, something Rin always pretended to hate yet always leaned into anyway.

“I would’ve preferred to know we were going overseas ,” Rin huffed. “I would’ve brought more in my carry-on to keep me occupied.”

“I can keep you occupied,” Ryusei wiggled his eyebrows, dissolving into a laugh as Rin smacked his arm. “I have my laptop, so we can watch game highlights or movies if you don’t want to sleep. I even downloaded your favorites.”

“At least you planned ahead for once,” Rin sighed, sinking further into the seat as he watched the gate agent walk up and begin the process of opening the door to the walkway and getting everything set up for boarding.

“I always plan ahead,” Ryusei pouted, grinning as Rin moved to rest his head against his shoulder. He looped an arm around his shoulders, tugging him closer. “Don’t get too comfortable like that. We’re gonna be boarding first.”

“Tell me you didn’t book first-class tickets,” Rin deadpanned.

“Oops?” Ryusei grinned. “It’ll be much more comfortable in first class on such a long flight, you know that.”

“It’s a waste of money,” Rin scoffed.

“We have more than enough money to buy better airplane seats.”

I would’ve been fine in the regular seats, Ryusei.”

Ryusei laughed as the call for the first boarding group rang through the speaker, the two of them standing up and grabbing their carry-ons before scanning their passes and heading down the walkway to the plane. “You would’ve been complaining about how awful the seats were an hour into the flight, don’t lie.”

Damn Ryusei and being able to read Rin like a book. “Whatever.”

His boyfriend just laughed again as they stepped onto the plane, ushering Rin to sit down and get comfortable while he shoved their bags into the overhead bin. He made sure to grab his laptop and charger before shutting the door and sitting down.

“See? We haven’t even taken off yet, and these seats already feel better than the ones back in economy.”

“Yeah, yeah, take this moment to bask in the fact that I’ll admit you’re right for once,” Rin said as he stretched his legs out. They were nice, admittedly, giving him room to stretch out and not be too cramped up. The fact that Ryusei let him have the window seat was also nice. The only thing Rin found tolerable about planes was staring out at the clouds and the tiny buildings they’d soared above.

“You know I will,” Ryusei said as he took Rin’s hand, lacing their fingers together and comfortably settling their hands in his lap. “Are you nervous?”

“Why would I be nervous?” Rin rolled his eyes as he turned to look at his boyfriend.

“Because you don’t like plane rides,” Ryusei shrugged. “And because you always get nervous before we see Sae, even if you want to act like you’re not.”

Well, he wasn’t wrong, Rin supposed. Plane rides were the worst things ever invented. Seeing his brother was always scary, too, because he never knew if he’d be greeted warmly or if it’d take them a day or two to fall back into comfortable familiarity.

“I’m fine,” Rin said. “I’m much more relaxed than if I were going alone.”

Ryusei grinned, bringing Rin’s hand up to his mouth and pressing a kiss against the back of it. “Good,” he said. “We can start watching whatever you wanna watch after we take off, and they won’t throw us out of the plane for having electronics on when they aren’t supposed to be.”

“Way to ruin the moment,” Rin rolled his eyes.

“That is my specialty,” Ryusei said. “You think we’d be able to skydive using the seat cushions? If they’re good enough to use as life vests if the plane went down into water, they should be good enough to skydive with.”

“Shut up,” Rin huffed, pinching Ryusei’s arm as his boyfriend cackled. “Don’t talk about the plane crashing, goddamnit.”

“The plane isn’t gonna crash,” Ryusei hummed as the plane backed away from the gate and began to taxi out to the runway. “We are statistically safer in a plane than we are in a car, you know?”

“We take the subways more than we’re in cars, Ryusei,” Rin deadpanned. “That statistic is not comforting.”

Ryusei shook his head, lifting the armrest between them and tugging Rin into his side as the plane began to pick up speed for takeoff. Rin huffed, relaxing into the touch as he squeezed his eyes shut and prayed to whatever god was listening that they’d be able to get off the ground safely. His boyfriend leaned his head on Rin’s, burying his nose into his hair as he murmured soft words throughout the entire thing to keep Rin as relaxed as possible.

It worked, thankfully, as it always did when Ryusei dropped the annoying boyfriend act and fell into being far softer than Rin ever assumed he’d be able to act. It was the small moments like this that Rin would allow himself to relax and be pulled into the warm embrace of his lover, letting Ryusei coddle him to his heart’s desire.

Most of the time, it didn’t last long, especially if they were at home, where Ryusei was free to be a menace whenever he pleased. They could be curled up on the couch together watching a movie, and Ryusei would be rubbing Rin’s back one moment, and leaning down to bite his shoulder for absolutely no reason the next.

Rin had grown used to it, though. He doesn’t think he’d be able to go without Ryusei acting like a demon anymore.

“We’re in the air,” Ryusei murmured, glancing at the window Rin had left the shade up on after a few minutes. “I won’t complain if you don’t want to pull away, just thought I should tell you anyway in case you wanted to.”

Rin shook his head, allowing himself a few more moments of comfort as he buried his face into Ryusei’s shoulder, leaving one eye open as his boyfriend shifted to grab his laptop and turn it on. “I’ll stay like this,” he mumbled. “I’ll end up falling asleep during whatever we’re watching anyway. This just makes it more comfortable.”

Ryusei grinned, leaning down to press a kiss to Rin’s cheek before opening up his files and letting Rin skim through the movies he had downloaded. They settled back once Rin had chosen, sharing Ryusei’s headphones as he pulled the complimentary blanket over the two of them, settling in for the long flight.

“Surprised you didn’t go for a horror movie,” Ryusei said as the opening credits began to play. “That’s usually what you make us watch whenever we have movie nights.”

“We’ll watch one later,” Rin shrugged as he kept his eyes trained on the screen. “This is a fifteen hour flight. We have all the time in the world to watch a scary movie.”

“That’s fair,” Ryusei relented as he let Rin snuggle even closer, a slight grin tugging at his lips as his boyfriend got comfortable for the flight ahead. “I’m sure I’ll be subjected to the most gruesome things a person could see eventually.”

“You enjoy them,” Rin muttered. “Don’t act like you don’t. You’re just as bad as me.”

“Of course I enjoy them,” Ryusei said softly, tracing soft circles on Rin’s back. “Though I like seeing you get fully into it more.”

Rin wrinkled his nose, glancing up at his boyfriend. “You’re only saying shit like that because you know I can’t get away from you on a plane, huh?”

“Maybe a little,” Ryusei laughed. “But you know it’s all true anyway.”

“Shut up,” Rin muttered, turning his gaze back to the laptop. Ryusei shook his head fondly, settling back against the seat as they both relaxed for the travel ahead.

The flight thankfully went relatively smoothly, much to Rin’s enjoyment. He and Ryusei watched two movies before they ended up falling asleep, only waking up an hour before they were due to land. Rin had his eyes glued to the window while descending, watching as the tiny homes and businesses slowly grew larger the closer they reached the ground.

“Anything interesting out there?” Ryusei said, hooking his chin over Rin’s shoulder as he also moved to peer out the window.

“No,” Rin mumbled, leaning back slightly so Ryusei could get a better look. “Makes me wonder where all the other planes are going, though. That one looks like it’s taking off.”

“Maybe they’re going back to Japan,” Ryusei said, smirking as Rin rolled his eyes. “Don’t give me that look! You never know.”

“That’d be a very slim chance if they were going back the way we came.”

“It is,” Ryusei agreed. “Endulge me a little, though.”

“Dumbass,” Rin huffed, tugging his seatbelt off once the plane had finally reached the gate and they were able to deplane. “My back hurts.”

Ryusei huffed out a laugh, grabbing their carry-ons and shoving his laptop back into his bag before handing one of the bags to Rin. “I’ll massage your back when we get to Sae’s place since it’s hurting you so badly.”

“We both know how that’s gonna end, Ryusei,” Rin deadpanned, trying to act annoyed yet grabbing his boyfriend’s hand and lacing their fingers together anyway. Ryusei smiled, gently squeezing his hand as they moved through the airport, trying to find customs.

The line for customs wasn’t that long either–it only took them roughly twenty minutes before they were through and were able to make their way down to baggage claim. Ryusei spent most of their walk trying to read the signs aloud, much to Rin’s embarrassment.

“Will you stop?” He hissed, shooting a glare at his boyfriend. “You’re gonna make everyone here think we’re assholes if you keep butchering their language like that.”

“Relax, Rin Rin,” Ryusei teased. “I’m trying my best. I doubt you could do any better.”

“I couldn’t,” Rin said. “That’s why I’m not saying anything out loud when I read the signs and try to figure out where the fucking baggage claim is.”

“You’re so grumpy after a long flight,” Ryusei snickered, tugging Rin closer and looping an arm around his waist, pausing their walking for a moment so he could pull Rin against his chest. “I’ll stop acting like an idiot until we’re out of the airport, okay? So you can calm down.”

“I am calm,” Rin muttered, feeling himself melt as he buried his face into Ryusei’s chest. Ryusei sighed, kissing the top of his head. “I just need to sleep and hope my body stops hurting from sitting in an airplane seat for that long.”

“We’ll get you taken care of,” Ryusei murmured, rubbing his hand over Rin’s back, feeling the tension in his shoulders melt away at his touch. “Now let's go figure out where the hell our suitcases ended up.”

Rin nodded, pulling away before trailing after Ryusei as they realized that some of the signs had arrows pointing them in the correct direction. He scowled, mentally cursing the two of them for not realizing that sooner, as they finally made their way down an escalator that led to baggage claim, and the doors to the airport.

“Were you listening when they told us what carousel our flights’ bags would be on?” Rin asked as they weaved through the crowds of other passengers trying to get their luggage before heading off to where they were supposed to be.

“I did not,” Ryusei grinned sheepishly. “I was hoping you were listening.”

Rin sighed, pulling Ryusei behind them as he spotted a screen that had a list of all the flights that had arrived and which carousels their bags were set to come down on. “There. Carousel number seven.”

Ryusei nodded, looking around as he tried to spot the carousel they were supposed to be at before gently leading Rin over. “Looks like they haven’t unloaded the luggage yet. We’re gonna be waiting for a while.”

“Of course not,” Rin muttered, leaning against Ryusei with a yawn. “Just what I like to do. Stand around even more than we already have.”

“I’m sure it won’t be too much longer,” Ryusei said, digging his phone out of his pocket and connecting to the airport wifi so he could check his text messages. “Ah, your brother is here to pick us up. He’s asking if he should wait in the parking garage or come inside.”

“Don’t care,” Rin shrugged, lazily glancing over to Ryusei’s phone as he watched his boyfriend respond to his brother. “He can do whatever he wants.”

Ryusei nodded, quickly typing something out before putting his phone away. “Told him that it was up to him.”

Rin hummed in acknowledgement, still leaning against his boyfriend as they waited for the suitcases to begin their rotation around the carousel. He sighed, shifting on his feet as he tried to think about what they would do while in Spain.

Ryusei had planned everything. Rin had no idea how long they were supposed to be visiting or what the daily plans would be. He had mentioned something about Sae having off days, so surely they’d make him show them around like annoying tourists. Rin wasn’t sure how Sae would enjoy doing that, but his brother would probably give in at some point.

Sae was never good at saying no to Rin, and now Ryusei, by extension.

Even now, with their relationship being repaired but still on shaky ground sometimes, Sae would always give in to whatever Rin wanted. Rin would be lying if he said he didn’t use that to his advantage on occasion, knowing how Sae would get when Rin would be tiptoeing around asking for something but not wanting to broach the topic right away.

Ryusei has always been good at getting Sae to go along with whatever pops into his mind. A simple pout or a flutter of his eyelashes gets Sae to roll his eyes, whether that be with fondness or annoyance, and say that they can do whatever he wants. It’s a little funny to see, even Rin can admit that.

Though Rin does think that Sae had grown a soft spot for Ryusei in the short time they had spent together, when the Blue Lock program was still being run and he had handpicked Ryusei to be on the U20 team. Hell, he was almost positive that they had something more going on that they didn’t really want to label, based on how much Ryusei would talk about Sae once they had gotten separated into smaller teams and Rin had been stuck on PxG with him.

Some people might find it odd that he ended up with Ryusei after his brother had him. Rin doesn’t really care. It’s not like he doesn’t let the two of them fuck around when the three are together and he’s too tired to do anything else. Watching Ryusei take his brother apart and make him lose his cool is always a pleasant sight to see, anyway.

It’s an odd dynamic, the three of them. One that’d probably get them all crucified by the media if word ever got out. Rin and Sae already toe a thin enough line as it is, but if the world knew what the three of them did? It’d probably end their careers.

Such is the life of being in the public eye, Rin figures. He knows that they’d always pick their careers over everything else, their entire lives revolving around soccer and the things they had to do to get to this point in their professional lives, but some tiny part of Rin wishes that they had a more private, peaceful life.

Then he and Sae would be free to trip over the line again. No more awkward dances around each other and the bubbling feelings that had been welling inside them since they were children, always having to be dampened down so word didn’t get out.

It’d still have to be hidden, but they could freely acknowledge who they are to each other and where they stand without second-guessing it. Well, Rin has always known what he’s wanted from his older brother. He remembers being a child and telling his parents that he was going to marry Sae because that’s what he knew people who loved each other did. Sae would play along, bending to Rin’s whims just as easily as he always did.

Their parents would shoot that thought down as quickly as Rin would bring it up, though.

“Oh? He decided to come inside,” Ryusei said, pulling Rin from his thoughts as he nudged their shoulders together, pointing out Sae weaving through the crowd, face as stoic as ever, as he approached them. “That’s surprising.”

Rin nodded, watching as Sae scowled at someone who bumped into him, unable to snuff out the flicker of warmth that lit up in his chest at being able to see his brother in person for the first time in months.

“Go see him,” Ryusei murmured, nudging Rin forward. “I’ll grab our bags and meet you guys.”

Rin nodded, squeezing his boyfriend’s hand before letting go and walking over to meet Sae. He watched as his brother finally spotted him and noticed the almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of his mouth before they were standing right in front of each other.

“Decided to ditch the demon?” Sae said, eyes flickering over Rin’s form.

“He told me to,” Rin replied, crossing his arms over his chest as he tried to fight the urge to tug Sae into a hug in front of everyone in the airport. “Said he’d meet up with us once he got our bags.”

“He is our biggest fan,” Sae said almost offhandedly, rolling his eyes at Rin’s awkward demeanor as he stepped forward and tugged his arms away from his chest. “Nobody is going to think a hug is weird, idiot. I know that’s what you want.”

“Shut up,” Rin muttered, yet didn’t hesitate to tug Sae into his arms, holding him a little too tightly for something that’s supposed to come across as wholly platonic. Sae just snorted, his arms wrapping around Rin as well and holding him with the same fervor.

“He didn’t tell you this is where you guys were going until you got to the airport, huh?”

“No,” Rin said, burying his face into Sae’s hair and taking in the scent so uniquely Sae, sending his mind into a little bit of a tailspin. “Just thought we were going somewhere random since that’s his favorite thing to do.”

Sae huffed out a laugh, a sound so rare now that it was music to Rin’s ears as he pulled away just enough to look up at him. “We spent a month planning it and keeping it a secret from you.”

“A month?” Rin raised an eyebrow. “I’m surprised he lasted that long without slipping up and saying something about it.”

“Ryusei is disgustingly smitten with you,” Sae shrugged. “He probably spent the entire time desperate to tell you but knew that keeping it a surprise would be worth it.”

“Yeah,” Rin murmured, affection flashing in his gaze at the idea of Ryusei trying to coordinate the little trip with Sae and keep quiet about it so Rin wouldn’t be able to try and avoid it, and come so he’d have something to enjoy. “Don’t act like he wasn’t excited to come because that meant he’d get to see you, too.”

“He would not shut up about it,” Sae rolled his eyes, seemingly content to stay in Rin’s arms as they waited for Ryusei. “I swear all he did was blow my phone up asking if I really wanted you guys to come and if his coming along would ruin anything.”

“Dumbass,” Rin muttered. “As if he wouldn’t be allowed to come with.”

Sae nodded in agreement. “I told him that if his ass weren’t on that plane too then I’d be pissed.”

“I’m sure he was more than happy to hear you say that,” Rin rolled his eyes fondly, hesitating before leaning down to press his forehead to Sae’s. “Think he loves you almost as much as he loves me.”

“Getting the lovefest started without me?” Ryusei’s voice echoed around them as he approached, dragging a suitcase in each hand behind him. “That’s not fair.”

“Shut up,” Rin huffed, pulling away from Sae despite not wanting to. “You’re the one who told me to go.”

Ryusei just laughed, tugging Sae into a hug of his own, damn near squeezing the life out of his brother. Sae grunted, letting him for a moment before jabbing a finger into his side to get him to relax. “You act like we aren't spending the next week together,” Sae deadpanned. “We have enough time for your damn lovefests.”

“My point still stands,” Ryusei sighed dramatically as he released Sae from the hug, grabbing their bags again as they began walking to the exit. “We’re supposed to be in this together .”

“That’s my brother,” Sae retorted.

“That’s my boyfriend .”

“I am going to kill both of you,” Rin scoffed, taking one of the bags from Ryusei as he fell into stride beside Sae. “We all know there’s more to it than just that. No need to argue like you’re a married couple.”

“Don’t tell me what to do, Rin Rin,” Ryusei whined, a grin tugging at his lips as he watched Sae drift closer to Rin and grab his hand once they were in the parking garage, away from any prying eyes. “Maybe I want to argue with Sae over you.”

“You’re a dumbass,” Sae said simply, looking over his shoulder. “We have equal claim to him when we’re in the same place. You are the one who set that up because you know how we are.”

“And cause it’s hot,” Ryusei snickered, flinching as Rin swung the bag on his shoulder around and hit him in the side to shut him up. “Hey! You should be lucky that I don’t care, you know!”

“I will not deny that it is nice that you have no issues with it,” Rin said, glaring at him from over his shoulder. “But in public is not the time to be calling it hot, you freak. Save that for when we’re back at Sae’s apartment.”

“He’s right,” Sae spared Ryusei a glance before digging his keys out of his pocket and popping the trunk to his car. “You can keep your mouth shut until nobody can hear you.”

“Fine,” Ryusei sighed, feigning annoyance as he began putting his and Rin’s luggage into the trunk. “Just know that I will be even worse when we get there, though.”

“Oh, I do not doubt that,” Sae said sarcastically, opening the passenger door for Rin. “I don’t think either of us would expect anything less from you.”

Ryusei laughed again, shutting the trunk and slipping into the backseat, leaning back as he watched Sae slide the key into the ignition and start the engine. Sae wordlessly set his right hand palm up on the center console, a silent invitation for Rin to take his hand again.

Rin didn’t hesitate, pressing their palms together and lacing their fingers together as Sae pulled out of the parking spot and began driving through the garage to the exit. They fell into a comfortable silence, Sae’s thumb gently tracing the back of Rin’s hand, and Ryusei looking at them with nothing but affection in his gaze.

“Do you guys want to go anywhere tonight?” Sae asked, breaking the silence. Rin shrugged, leaning back against his seat as he glanced at Ryusei through the rearview mirror. Ryusei shook his head.

“Probably not. I think Rin is tired from the plane ride over here.”

“Damn right I am,” Rin huffed out. “I’d much rather just relax tonight. We can do the stupid touristy shit starting tomorrow.”

“I don’t think there’s going to be much relaxing for any of us tonight, Rin Rin,” Ryusei smirked, biting back a laugh as his boyfriend glared at him. “Oh, don’t give me that look. You know exactly what’s going to happen.”

“You didn’t need to say it out loud,” Rin huffed. “I think that was a given because of how long it's been since the three of us have been on the same continent.”

Sae rolled his eyes, turning down the street to his apartment. “I gather I should’ve prepared better for tonight, then?”

Ryusei perked up at his words. Rin did, too, though he tried to conceal it as much as possible.

“We’ll do all the hard work, pretty boy,” Ryusei cooed. “All you’re gonna have to do is lie back and enjoy it like always.”

“Fucking heathens. Both of you,” Sae said, unable to hide the amusement lacing through his voice as he slowly pulled into the parking garage for his apartment complex.

“You love us,” Ryusei laughed.

“Unfortunately, I do.”

Rin shrugged, unbuckling his seatbelt as Sae pulled to a stop in his parking spot, opening the door and getting out before he stretched. He groaned softly, feeling his muscles finally relax after being cramped in the plane for so long and having to sit in the car on the ride back to the apartment. He was not built to be squished into smaller spaces for an extended time.

“Let me help,” he mumbled, pushing his boyfriend to the side as he began to grab their suitcases and carry-ons out of the trunk, gently setting them down beside him. “Go talk to your loverboy.”

“You sure?” Ryusei tilted his head, glancing between Sae, who was now leaning against the car, watching them, and then back at Rin. “You know I can wait. I’ll act dramatic, but it won’t kill me if I don’t get a few minutes alone with him.”

“Just go, Ryusei,” Rin deadpanned. “I’ll meet you guys upstairs.”

Ryusei nodded, still taking a moment to decide if Rin was being serious or not. Rin rolled his eyes, shoving him toward his brother before shutting the trunk. “I’ll give you guys ten minutes. Need to check and make sure nothing important happened while we were in the air.”

He watched as Ryusei sighed, facing Sae and grabbing his hand before they walked off. Sae cast one precursory glance over his shoulder, a silent we’ll talk about this later being left unsaid before he turned back, leaning against Ryusei as he threw an arm around his shoulder.

Rin rolled his eyes at his boyfriend’s antics before turning around and leaning against the back of the car, grabbing his phone and scrolling through all the notifications that had popped up while it was turned off. There wasn’t anything too pressing, mostly things from his team or random social media notifications that he deleted right away. There were two texts from Sae, his brother probably trying to reach him first before giving in and texting Ryusei when he didn’t answer.

The first was sent maybe an hour into their flight, reading a simple have a safe flight , naturally, Sae knew how much Rin despised flying and how he needed a silent reassurance that everything would be alright, even if he had Ryusei with him, ensuring that flying was safe and how he wouldn’t let anything bad happen, which Rin always thought was stupid because how the hell was Ryusei going to do anything if the flight crashed?

The second text had Rin pausing for a moment, reading it repeatedly so he could burn it into his memory and decide if his eyes were playing tricks on him. It was unlike Sae to send anything overly sappy or sweet; their messages were usually straight to the point or about their respective teams. This one, however, was something Sae very rarely said.

I’m happy you’re coming. I missed you.

Rin pulled his lower lip between his teeth as he read it, warmth blooming in his chest at the idea of Sae actually admitting to something like that. It had been a long time, too long in the grand scheme of how their dynamic has been over the last few years.

It was nice to read, though. It made Rin feel a little more confident in flying all the way to Spain. Like his presence is genuinely wanted and not just something that Sae is putting up with for a week just to have something to occupy his time with.

Rin slid his phone back into his pocket, grabbed the bags, and began the trek up to Sae’s apartment, his steps a little bit lighter as he navigated through the halls. He figured that he had given Sae and Ryusei enough time for their own little reunion, confident that they probably hadn’t started anything without him.

It wouldn’t bother him too much if they did, when he really thought about it. Though he would like to be the one to get his lips on Sae first. He felt like that was only fair. Ryusei could wait. Rin had come first, and a small part of him knows that he will always come first when it comes to Sae, no matter the relationship between the three of them.

He pushed Sae’s door open when he arrived, shoving the bags in first before going in behind them, shutting the door and locking it. Ryusei had Sae straddling his lap on the couch, Sae’s arms draped loosely around his neck as Ryusei’s hands rested on his hips.

“Had to immediately get him in your lap?” Rin rolled his eyes, kicking his shoes off and walking over to the couch before sitting down, pressing right up against Ryusei without a care. Ryusei laughed, moving one of his hands from Sae’s hips to rest on Rin’s thigh.

“He wasn’t complaining.”

“You were begging me,” Sae rolled his eyes. “Don’t act innocent.”

“Oh, please. You were just as desperate as I was,” Ryusei cracked a grin, squeezing Sae’s hip. “Stop trying to act all tough around Rin Rin.”

“I’m not acting tough around him,” Sae scowled, glancing at Rin. “Tell your demon of a boyfriend that I do not do that.”

“You did when we were younger and you wanted to look cool,” Rin shrugged. “But I was dumb and smitten enough to fall for it every time.”

“You would’ve fallen for it even if you weren’t enamored with me,” Sae pointed out. “Need I remind you of how often you said I looked cool doing literally anything?”

Rin huffed, wrinkling his nose at Sae’s words. They were true, god only knows how high of a pedestal he had held his older brother on for the entirety of their childhood, but that didn’t need to be pointed out, especially not in front of Ryusei, who was obviously trying to hold back a cackle.

“Piss off,” Rin mumbled, leaning away as Sae moved to ruffle his hair. “Don’t rub my head like I’m five.”

“You’ll survive,” Sae said, shifting out of Ryusei’s lap despite the complaint, and moved to straddle Rin’s thighs instead. He leaned down, lips brushing against Rin’s ear as he spoke again. “Besides, isn’t that the type of stuff you like?”

“I will get right back on that damn plane and leave the two of you here,” Rin said, the tips of his ears a dark red as his hands moved to rest on Sae’s waist, trembling slightly. He just hoped it wasn’t noticeable. It wasn’t too often now that Sae would willingly make the first move like that.

Ryusei grinned, shifting to stand up as he looked at the two with amusement. “I’m going to shower,” he said, stretching his arms behind his head. “Enjoy your little solitude. Don’t have too much fun without me.”

Rin rolled his eyes, watching as his boyfriend retreated to the back of the apartment where the bathroom was, hearing the door click shut behind him. Damn bastard , he thought to himself, he knows exactly what he’s doing.

“You’re being quieter than usual,” Sae commented, his hands gently squeezing Rin’s shoulders. “What’s going on in your head?”

“Nothing,” Rin said, swallowing thickly as Sae shifted slightly, his hips pressing down even more against Rin’s. “I’m just tired from the flight. You know how long it is.”

“Ryusei said you slept for most of it,” Sae retorted. “He even sent me a picture of you passed out with your head on his lap. It was funny to see.”

Rin scowled. “I’m going to kill him,” he said. “Taking pictures of me when I’m asleep like some fucking weirdo.”

“He is a weirdo,” Sae pointed out. “But I don’t think I have ever seen him treat someone as carefully as he does with you. Even if he likes to piss you off sometimes.”

“I guess,” Rin mumbled. “We have a good relationship.”

Sae nodded, raising a hand and brushing Rin’s hair from his face. “You do,” he agreed. “Ryusei is the type of person to love with his entire heart and soul when he finds his person. Surely you know that by now.”

“He loves you too, you know,” Rin said softly. “Sometimes I think he feels bad that he loves both of us. Like he’s doing me wrong because of that.”

Sae scoffed lowly, brushing his thumb against Rin’s cheek. “Do you care that he loves me too?”

“No,” Rin shook his head. “Of course not. It never has.”

“Good,” Sae murmured, pausing for a moment before speaking again. “It’s rare to find someone like him. Someone so open with their affection for multiple people and who doesn’t blink an eye at people like us.”

“People like us,” Rin rolled his eyes. “People who are in too deep with their siblings, you mean?”

“I was trying to put it in nicer terms,” Sae said. “But yes. People who are romantically involved with their siblings. Ryusei doesn’t care that we’re like that. I don’t think he even stopped to question it for a moment when we told him.”

“Because he picked up on it long before that,” Rin said. “He came up to me a few days into being on the same team back in Blue Lock and asked if I was obsessed with you because all I wanted to do was end your career or if it was because I wanted to fuck you.”

Sae shook his head fondly, a small smile quirking at the corner of his lips. “Ryusei has such a way with words, doesn’t he?”

“Unfortunately,” Rin huffed. “I almost smacked the shit out of him for saying it outloud. Thought half the damn team would hear him.”

“I think he would’ve creamed his pants instantly if you did that,” Sae pointed out.

“Probably.”

They fell into silence for a few moments, Rin pulling his lip between his teeth while he thought about how to broach the topic of Sae’s text. To see if he really had meant it when he said he had missed him, or if he was just saying that because it was what he thought Rin would want to hear after months of only texts and video calls.

“Your text,” Rin said after a moment. “I saw it while getting the luggage out of your car. Did you mean it? You missed me?”

Sae’s expression softened in the way it did only for Rin. “Of course I did,” he murmured, choosing his words carefully so he could be positive that there was no way for Rin to take them in any way other than the truth. “I’d be stupid not to miss you. Not when we’re doing so much better now.”

“Just wanted to make sure,” Rin said. “You know I still get a little nervous sometimes.”

“I know,” Sae said softly, leaning forward and pressing their foreheads together, an action Rin hadn’t felt him do since they were kids and Sae was trying to get him to calm down after breaking his toys or hurting himself while playing. “That will always be my fault. Guess I gotta do better with expressing it.”

Rin nodded, his eyes flicking up to meet the exact copy of his own staring right back, the tenderness and love reflected in Sae’s. “I could probably stand to start saying it, too.”

“You missed me?” Sae murmured.

“More than anything,” Rin breathed out. “You know that I always do. That might be a little dramatic.”

“Not dramatic,” Sae said. “The furthest thing from dramatic. I think it’d be a little weird not to miss your brother.”

“I missed you even more when we weren’t talking,” Rin continued. “It felt like a part of me had died after you came back and we had that conversation.”

“I’m sorry,” Sae whispered. “I’m so sorry. I will spend the rest of my life trying to make up for doing that. You didn’t deserve it.”

“You were hurting too,” Rin shrugged. “Going to a new country and having everything stripped away until you had to start playing a new position.”

“That’s not an excuse for what I said.”

Rin shrugged. “It’s an explanation.”

“Rin,” Sae’s voice was serious as he spoke, a hand coming up to cup his cheek as his thumb brushed softly against the skin. “There is no excuse, nor is there ever going to be a valid explanation for the things I said to you when I came back. You did not deserve to hear those words come out of my mouth. Not after how we grew up. Not when you were in your most formative years.”

“You don’t have to keep apologizing,” Rin muttered, leaning into Sae’s touch, warmth filling his chest as his heart skipped a beat.

He really didn’t. Rin thinks they’ve done enough to move past every harsh word thrown around. It was years ago at this point, nothing but water under the bridge. He didn’t want Sae to think that he was going to have to spend the rest of his life apologizing or trying to make up for whatever he had said when they were both younger and equally as fucked up by their circumstances.

Though there was a tiny part of him that was pleased to know that Sae still felt bad. They had talked about it multiple times by now, each time a little more in depth and occasionally ending in an argument before they cooled down and could talk about it civilly again.

Sae still winces when Rin brings up how he had called him nothing more than an eyesore. Rin still winces when Sae brings up everything he had said after the U20 match, how he had picked Ryusei over him to play for the U20 team because he wanted to be able to see what Rin could do without him, but had gone the wrong way about trying to tell him why.

It’s taken time to get to the point where they could talk about it without one of them getting pissed off. Even longer to get to the point where Rin could try and joke about it, much to Sae’s exasperation. Ryusei has had to play mediator for them too many times, especially in the beginning.

That first meeting after everything wasn’t pretty. Rin doesn’t think he’d ever yelled loud enough to cause his throat to burn after. He also doesn’t think he’s seen Sae look at him with nothing but hurt until that point.

It was a turning point, though. An olive branch that had been extended long after it probably should’ve. But it was progress, something they had both needed more than they had wanted to admit at first.

Rin wasn’t sure when they started crossing the line into more intimate territory. Probably after their fourth or fifth time of meeting up with each other again. Their relationship was still rocky at that point; one small comment could set them both off again, yet they couldn’t stay away from each other.

He knew it was coming, though. Sae knew too. There was always that pull between them, from when Rin was old enough to realize he was more attached to his brother than he should’ve been. Rin could always tell Sae had felt it too. The way his brother treated him was always softer than that of most siblings. More caring. Gripping his hand and lacing their fingers together on walks home from their hometown soccer field, chaste kisses to cheeks that graduated to Rin tugging his brother down one day and smashing their lips together when they were home alone for the night.

Looking into his brother’s eyes at this moment shows that it’s still reflected, even now. They’ve been fooling around for the last year or two, whenever they’re in the same city. Ryusei is a big supporter of it, uncaring that it’s fucked up. That it’s taboo and that there would be harsh repercussions if they were ever found out.

Maybe Rin should be grateful that his boyfriend is into it. He and Sae probably would’ve never picked up where they had left off if it weren’t for the soft encouragement of his boyfriend when Rin had finally spilled everything in confidence to him.

“You’re lost in your head again,” Sae murmured, nudging his nose to Rin’s as he pulled him from his thoughts. “What’s going on?”

“Nothing,” Rin shook his head, turning even more into putty in his brother’s hands than he wanted to. “Just thinking about how glad I am that we’re fine now.”

“Yeah?” Sae said, a flicker of warmth pooling in his gaze. “I’d say we’re doing more than just fine , Rin.”

“Didn’t want to push it,” Rin mumbled, eyes flicking down to Sae’s lips before moving back to meet his gaze. Sae just laughed, pulling away to get a better view as he shifted in Rin’s lap again, pressing closer against him. Rin’s grip on his waist tightened just a bit, trying to reel in the growing heat pooling in his stomach until it was time to start pushing it further.

“It’s not pushing anything if it's the truth,” Sae clicked his tongue. “If we had known this was coming years ago, I don’t think either of us would’ve believed it.”

Rin nodded, thrumming his fingers against Sae’s waist. “I definitely wouldn’t have,” he mumbled. “I hated you. I wanted to destroy you in any way I could, on the field and off it.”

“I could tell. You weren’t very slick about it during that game we played against each other,” Sae said. “You looked real cute with your tongue hanging out like that, though. Reminded me of when you were a kid.”

“Shut up,” Rin huffed. “I got so embarrassed watching the replay when I saw that.”

“Yet you’ve leaned into it and let it happen every game you play now,” Sae countered. “People are very thrilled to see when you enter your flow state. They see you stick your tongue out and know the game is about to get intense.”

“Now you’re just bullshitting me,” Rin scoffed. “I doubt that happens.”

“It does,” Sae said. “You’re just obviously too into your flow state to notice the crowd going crazy.”

Rin shook his head, wrapping his arms completely around Sae’s waist and tugging him closer, their chests pressed together. “I guess I’ll just have to take your word for it.”

“You will,” Sae hummed, cracking a small smile again as he leaned against Rin. “I like seeing you like that. Getting so into your games that you’ll let yourself be taken over by your instincts.”

“Ryusei likes it too,” Rin rolled his eyes. “For other reasons, though.”

“I’m not saying I don’t like it for other reasons too,” Sae said easily, causing the heat in Rin’s stomach to stoke even harsher, anticipation beginning to course through his veins as he realizes where this is finally heading. “I can just enjoy it for more than one.”

“I’m not saying you don’t,” Rin said. “You just rarely admit it like this.”

Sae laughed, leaning forward so their faces were only centimeters apart. “Humor me just this once, Rin. It’s been months since we’ve had time to see each other like this.”

Rin rolled his eyes, tilting his head up so their lips brushed together, finally after yearning over it for months. He loves Ryusei, loves kissing him and doing anything else that pops into his boyfriend’s mind, but there is nothing that would ever compare to the feeling of Sae’s lips on his own—a feeling of belonging, of unspoken words that get passed through soft kisses and murmurs.

A feeling of coming home.

Sae leans into the kiss with no complaints. It’s soft, hesitant, just as it always is at the first kiss after months of going without. They take their time reacquainting themselves with each other, how they kiss, and the warmth of their mouths. Rin groans softly, tilting his head to get a better angle as Sae nips at his lower lip, laving over the burn with his tongue in the way that drives Rin absolutely mad .

Hands wander quickly as they always do. Rin can never decide where to rest them, whether it be the curve of Sae’s waist that he’s grown far too fond of, or the curve of his ass, squeezinfg gthe muscle under his fingers as he goads his brother into grinding against him.

Sae has an easier time. His hands move to rest on Rin’s chest, one sliding around to cup the back of his neck to pull him even closer. Rin knows Sae enough to know that it’s his silent plea to deepen the kiss, to have Rin slip his tongue inside and curl around his own.

Rin does exactly that. He wastes no time goading Sae’s mouth open and exploring the depths, feeling how Sae melts into his touch. His favorite thing about his brother is how pliant he grows when he gets him like this, the way Sae will relax and bend to any of Rin’s whims.

That’s something left over from when they were kids. Rin would climb into Sae’s lap when he was still smaller than him, curling up against his brother’s chest while he was studying new plays for his games or watching matches on TV, feeling the way a warm hand would press to his back and how all of his brother’s tension would melt away.

Sae leans in even closer, tangling his tongue with Rin’s as he pants slightly, needing air but not wanting to pull away. Rin wasn’t faring any better, his hands sliding down to grip Sae’s ass as he moaned into the kiss, unashamed of the sounds that his brother was able to tug from the depths of his chest.

That only goaded Sae on, it seems, as he began to slowly grind his hips down against Rin’s, their growing erections pressing against each other with every shaky movement that he made. Rin cursed under his breath, biting at Sae’s lips as their kiss began to grow sloppy. Spit dribbled down his chin, slick as he paid no mind to the sticky feeling and focused on Sae only.

Nothing was more important than having his brother in his lap like this. Rin thinks it’s his favorite feeling in the world. Even living out his dream of going pro isn’t enough to satiate his heart enough.

Only Sae. It’ll only ever be Sae.

Ryusei, too, Rin could never let go of his boyfriend, no matter how entangled he gets with his brother. The two of them melded so well together compared to how they started. Stuck together like glue, Sae likes to say as he watches the two with amusement whenever the three of them are out doing something during vacations.

He helps him relax. Keeps him from getting too caught up in his head and gives him the freedom to take things as they are day by day without trying to force himself into strict schedules or routines that would just lead to him burning out.

He also encourages him greatly to explore things with Sae. Gives them the time alone to do whatever they want without having to worry about him getting upset or jealous. Ryusei loves having Rin to himself, and yes, he prides himself on having the younger Itoshi as his boyfriend, but he knows. Ryusei will always know that Sae will have an equal spot in Rin’s life.

Plus, he gets to benefit from having not one, but two absolutely gorgeous brothers to play around with when they're all together. There is no way he’d ever give that up.

Rin finally pulls away from the kiss to catch his breath, pupils blown wide with lust as his chest heaves, tongue still peeking out from the corner of his mouth. Sae already looks equally destroyed, opting to lean down and press open mouth kisses across the pale expanse of Rin’s neck, inhaling the leftover scent of his cologne and biting down where his pulse is thrumming.

“Fuck,” Rin hissed, his grip on Sae’s ass tightening. “Can’t help yourself, can you?”

“No,” Sae said, moving up and nipping at his earlobe with a grin. “Ryusei is probably waiting for us in the bedroom.”

“I’m sure he is,” Rin agreed. “Is it time to make him stop having to wait?”

Sae nodded, leaning down to steal another kiss. “Yes.”

Rin huffed quietly as Sae moved off his lap, a hand coming down to adjust himself in his joggers before they both got up. Sae tugged Rin down for another kiss–something he rarely does unless he’s feeling a little extra loving or needy, as Rin would put it. He was probably feeling the time apart more than he was letting on.

It made Rin’s mind swirl a little.

“We aren’t going to make it to him if you keep tugging me in for kisses,” Rin muttered against his lips, trying, and failing, to pull away without giving him a few more. Maybe he felt a little needy, too, but would he ever openly admit that to his brother? Absolutely not.

“We won’t,” Sae agreed, yet he made no move to pull away as Rin slipped his tongue between his lips again, a soft moan reverberating through the messy action as Sae’s fingers laced through the hair at the back of Rin’s head, tugging him closer.

Rin wasn’t going to pull away, not when Sae was already acting so pliant and desperate for him. He let himself be tugged down, relished in the feeling of Sae’s fingers in his hair, and nipped at his bottom lip when Sae tugged a little too harshly. That just goaded Sae on more, his free hand slipping underneath Rin’s shirt and tracing along the apex of his abdomen. Rin hissed at the feeling, always far too sensitive there, as he leaned into his touch.

“Come on,” Rin mumbled against Sae’s slips, huffing as he felt his brother’s fingers move to dip a tiny bit below his waistband. “You know Ryusei will want to watch, at least.”

Sae nodded, reluctantly pulling away as he grabbed Rin’s hand and tugged him to the bedroom, kicking the door open to reveal an already grinning Ryusei sitting on the bed. “Took you guys long enough. Was worried you forgot about me,” he teased lightly, moving to the side so they had room to climb on beside him.

“You could’ve come back into the living room at any point,” Sae said as he fell back onto the bed, tugging Rin down to land on top of him, shifting so he could fit right between his thighs. “Yet you chose to wait in here.”

“I guess that’s fair,” Ryusei relented, his eyes trailing over the two of them as Rin leaned down to bite at Sae’s neck. Sae keened softly, leaning into the touch as his eyes flickered over to meet Ryusei’s gaze, a silent challenge on whether he’ll join them or just sit back and watch. Ryusei shook his head fondly, moving closer and leaning down to capture Sae’s lips in a kiss.

Rin pulled away, giving his boyfriend some room as he moved down Sae’s body, pushing his shirt up over his chest as his lips mapped out the toned contour of his chest down to his stomach, licking and nipping at the skin and finding far too much enjoyment in the soft sounds that were muffled from his lips.

Heat was coursing through his body as he moved back up, tongue flicking out to lap against Sae’s nipple, something he had learned early on that made Sae melt completely, even if he would always try and be stubborn enough to deny it. Rin hummed, eyes flicking up to Sae’s face as he continued his ministrations, tongue still drawing circles around one nipple while his fingers came up to pinch and tweak at the other.

Sae pulled away from the kiss Ryusei had held him in, cursing quietly under his breath as he looked down at Rin, his chest already heaving as they locked eyes. Rin maintained eye contact, pulling away before leaning down and smashing their lips together again.

It was messier, more teeth than lips, as his hands moved down Sae’s sides, curling around the waistband of his pants and tugging them down his thighs without a word. Sae lifted his hips without complaint, letting Rin tug them all the way down and toss them to the ground without a second glance. His hands moved down to grope Sae’s thighs, groaning at the way the muscle moved beneath his fingers.

“You’ve been working on your legs more,” he commented, eyes glued to the way Sae subtly flexed his thighs underneath Rin’s hands. “And you’re just doing that to tempt me, aren’t you?”

“Maybe,” Sae said, leaning up as Ryusei moved to sit behind him, legs stretching out around him as he helped Sae settle back against his chest.

“They do look nice,” Ryusei murmured, leaning down and burying his face into the crook of Sae’s neck, inhaling before biting down, leaving his own mark next to one Rin had made. “So pretty, Sae.”

Rin nodded in agreement, dipping down to sink his teeth into Sae’s right thigh, unable to hold back against the temptation. Sae groaned at the feeling, fingers lacing through Rin’s hair again as he tried to tug him away. “You’re almost as bad as your demon of a boyfriend here.”

“Let him have his fun,” Ryusei hummed, tilting Sae’s head and kissing him again. Sae leaned into the kiss, reveling in the rough way Ryusei would always kiss him as opposed to the way Rin would. It was less messy, less spit than whenever Rin’s mouth was on his, which was something Sae missed more than he cared to admit, but it was still good. Thrilling, maybe, was a better word to use. The way Ryusei kissed Sae captivated him from the first time they had ever done it back when they played together.

Rin rolled his eyes at Ryusei’s words, sucking a dark hickey into the skin of Sae’s thigh before pulling away, dragging his tongue alongside the inside of the muscle before darting out to flick at Sae’s cock through his boxers, already focused on the dark spot of precum that was already staining his boxers.

“You’re both annoying,” he muttered, fingers slipping underneath the fabric of Sae’s boxers and tugging, groaning as his cock sprang free. Rin wasted no time leaning forward and licking a stripe from base to tip, swirling around the head as he lapped up the precum that kept spilling. “ Fuck , missed how sweet you were.”

Sae groaned, hips bucking up at the touch as Ryusei pulled away from their kiss, his hands moving down to rest on his waist. “Sae has a surprise for you,” he quipped. “Told me about it while you were still outside.”

Rin raised an eyebrow, leaning back slightly as he looked down at his brother, eyes darting across the exposed expanse of his body as he tried to figure out what it was. “Lower,” Ryusei said.

“You know I can’t stand surprises,” Rin muttered, pushing Sae’s legs apart as his hands traveled down to grasp his ass again, massaging the flesh as his gaze shifted to meet Ryusei’s. His boyfriend just nodded, an impish grin tugging at his lips. Right there.

His hands moved to spread Sae’s cheeks apart, and his brother looked away with an expression Rin rarely saw–shyness, maybe, as his fingers moved, hitting against something solid. He exhaled, almost knowing immediately what it was as he leaned down, seeing the plug nestled into Sae’s hole.

“Shit,” he muttered, his cock twitching at the sight of the damned teal gem that was gleaming almost taungingly, Rin’s fingers moving to tug at it as Sae keened at the feeling, a quiet curse slipping from his lips. “Can’t believe you actually put a plug in.”

“Thought you’d like it,” Sae said, his words ending in a whine as Ryusei’s hands moved around to his front and wrapped around his cock. “Figured you wouldn’t want to waste too much time with prep, so I got it out of the way a few hours before you landed.”

Rin nodded, slowly thrusting the plug in and out a few more times before pulling it out entirely and setting it to the side, eyes locked on Sae’s hole that was now clenching around nothing, a trickle of lube spilling out with the absence of the plug. “Wish I was able to see you do it.”

“I took a video,” Sae admitted. “I’ll show you guys later.”

Rin and Ryusei swallowed thickly at the thought, eyes meeting with a mirrored, hungry gaze before they went back to looking at Sae beneath them. “We’ll hold you to that,” Rin said before dipping down and licking a broad line up Sae’s hole, uncaring of the lube and groaning at the heat of his brother.

Sae flinched at the feeling, his hand shooting out to tangle his fingers into Rin’s hair as Rin continued to lick and suck at his hole, slipping two fingers in at once effortlessly. He ignored the throbbing in his pants, ignored the growing wetness that was soaking his boxers as he continued, crooking his fingers right up and hitting Sae’s prostate without a second thought.

Ryusei shook his head, knowing that Rin was still going to get far too caught up in trying to prep Sae despite it already being done, moving to begin to stroke Sae’s cock in time with the thrust of Rin’s fingers. “You having fun down there, Rin Rin?”

Rin scowled, pulling away to look at his boyfriend before going right back to what he was doing, slipping his tongue inside right alongside his fingers, groaning at the taste and the feeling of Sae’s fingers gripping his hair even tighter and tugging him closer, his nose now brushing at the underside of his balls.

It was something he could get lost in. The feeling of his brother’s tight heat around his fingers, the taste. The knowledge that only he and Ryusei had the privilege of getting Sae like this, seeing him writhing underneath them with more pleasure than he thought he could handle.

It was thrilling. Mind numbing, maybe, the way Rin could focus on that for so long that anything going on around him was thrown out the window. All that mattered in these moments was how he made Sae feel, how he had spent so long yearning to do these things to him, and the ability that had grown over the last few years to do it.

Ryusei leaned down, burying his face into Sae’s neck again as he continued stroking his cock, thumbing at the tip the way he knew he liked it as he kept an eye on the way Sae was responding to them, the way his body was already pliant and shaking and tightening with a sign of his orgasm approaching.

Rin could feel it, too, the way Sae’s hole clenched around his fingers and kept sucking them in deeper. He slipped in a third finger, knowing Sae could take it as he drove them into his prostate over and over as Sae moaned at the feeling, tugging at Rin’s hair harsher and harsher as he arched out of Ryusei’s hold and came with a strangled cry, his cum flowing down Ryusei’s fingers and splattering against his stomach.

His chest heaved as he came down from his high, watching as Rin slipped his fingers out and sucked them into his mouth, cleaning them off and maintaining eye contact before leaning down and licking up the cum that had spilled, moaning at the taste.

“You’re such a freak,” Sae said, out of breath as Rin moved to lean over him again, foreheads pressed together.

“You’re not complaining,” Rin muttered, one of his hands moving to tug his joggers and boxers down just enough to let his cock free before settling back between Sae’s thighs again, grinding against the slick skin. “You like this, having your brother fuck you while his boyfriend watches, don’t you? You’re just like us, Sae.”

“You know he won’t outright say that he does,” Ryusei snorted, hooking his chin over Sae’s shoulders as he helps him settle comfortably in his lap again. “Even though he was very much asking what I thought you’d like when we were planning this trip.”

“Shut up and do something,” Sae said, pressing his hips back against Rin, trying so desperately to get him to slip inside and give them what they both wanted, heat swirling through his body and arousal still coursing through his veins as his cock slowly hardened again at the promise of what was to come.

“I know, you’re impatient,” Rin muttered, leaning down and stealing a quick kiss before pulling away and grasping his cock, giving it a few strokes before lining up with Sae’s hole. His eyes flickered to Ryusei, an eyebrow raised. “You want anything done to you?”

“Nah,” Ryusei said, leaning back against the headboard as the hand that wasn’t resting on Sae’s waist to wrap around his own cock, tugging at it languidly. “You get him first. You know I don’t mind watching.”

Rin nodded, pulling his lower lip between his teeth as he began to press in, warmth filling him immediately as he felt how hot Sae was wrapped around him. “Christ,” he muttered, giving a few shallow thrusts before pressing in fully. “I’m not going to last.”

“That’s fine,” Sae gritted out, hands moving to Rin’s shoulders as his nails dug into the skin, leaving crescent-shaped marks in their wake. “I won’t either. Think Ryusei is faring the same as us.”

“Don’t talk about my ability to last,” Ryusei huffed, pinching Sae’s waist gently as he continued to slide his hand up and down his cock, wrapping around his tip as he thrusted his hips upwards just enough not to disturb the boy in his lap. “You guys both know I can go for hours .”

“Not when you’re watching us, fucking werido,” Rin said, voice nothing but hushed affection as he pulled out of Sae before thrusting back in, keeping the pace slow as he watched his brother’s face contort with pleasure, the subtle pinch of his brows and the way his eyes fluttered as Rin brushed past his prostate with every movement.

“Can you blame me?” Ryusei grinned, squeezing Sae’s waist as he moaned. “No way I could last when I get the permission to see two of the most beautiful guys in the world going at it.”

Rin rolled his eyes, leaning up to give Ryusei a soft kiss before burying his face into Sae’s neck, licking and nipping at the skin as he continued to fuck him, the room falling into silence aside from the sounds of muffled moans and slick skin slapping together with every movement that they were making.

Sae huffed quietly, pulling Rin from his neck and pressing their lips together again. Rin groaned into the kiss, leaning into it as their lips met softly, a stark change from how they were kissing only minutes ago, rough presses of spit and teeth to a languid mark of the feelings that had been left unspoken for longer than they had wanted to be.

It rarely ended up like this, the sex being slow and such an open display of feelings as opposed to rushed and rough, the way it usually is when Rin gets Sae underneath him. Granted, Sae usually prefers it that way, whether he’s fucking Rin or Ryusei, and the other two are more than happy to oblige when it comes time to do so.

But Rin loves this. Sex akin to the lovemaking that he and Ryusei find themselves falling into when they're alone. The vulnerability that comes with it, the way he’s able to pour everything into the way he’s moving against Sae as his brother pulls him down, chest to chest, as he nips at his lower lip in a plea to keep going exactly like that.

Who was he not to give his brother anything he wanted?

Rin pressed into Sae completely, grinding his hips against his ass as Sae moaned against his lips, the tip of his cock right on his prostate with every little movement he was making. He could barely hear Ryusei behind Sae, a soft fuck slipping from his boyfriend’s lips as he sped up with how he was stroking his cock, a silent groan as Ryusei ended up cumming just from the sounds spilling from Rin and Sae’s lips.

Ryusei panted, stroking himself through his release as he leaned down to press his cheek to Sae’s as Rin pulled away from their kiss, the strand of spit strung between their lips broken away by Ryusei’s tongue darting out to lap it up. Rin scowled at the action, leaning over to pull his boyfriend into a kiss of their own as he began thrusting into Sae again.

Sae slumped back against Ryusei, giving him and Rin some room as he moaned softly, eyes moving to focus on the two boys above them. His lower stomach was beginning to tighten again, the sensation of Rin’s cock driving into him and the feeling of Ryusei’s fingers splayed out across his waist becoming too much as sparks of electricity shot through his body.

Rin could feel the way his body tensed up, the way Sae was subtly tugging him against him, the closer he was getting to his release. He pulled away from Ryusei, giving him another soft kiss before looking down at Sae. “You’re close, yeah?”

“Yeah,” Sae nodded, whining as Rin picked up the pace a bit, a hand moving down to wrap around his cock to give him a few quick strokes to help hurtle him over the edge. “So close, Rin.”

He groaned, throaty and low in his chest, at Sae’s words, leaning down to brush his lips against his ear. “Cum for me then, nii-chan .”

That was all it took for Sae to cum, his body trembling as Rin thrusted forward once more, cock twitching weakly as thick, hot ropes of his release coated Rin’s fingers, dripping down to his wrist. Hearing that was all it ever took for Sae, really, a hushed nii-chan slipping from Rin’s lips just like they did when they were younger, being the catalyst for too many of the orgasms that Rin had pushed him into.

“Dammit,” Rin groaned, sinking his teeth into Sae’s shoulder as he gave a few more shallow thrusts, his orgasm pusling through him as he filled his brother’s hole to the brim with his cum. Sae keened softly at the feeling of his teeth in his shoulder, pulling him down so Rin was pressed flush against his chest.

The two of them panted quietly as they caught their breath, Rin keeping his face buried in Sae’s neck as he wrapped his arms around Sae's waist. Ryusei just watched the two of them fondly, gently rubbing any area of their skin he could reach to help them calm down a bit.

“You both good?” Ryusei murmured, breaking the silence as he ran his fingers through Rin’s hair.

Sae nodded, not bothering to move out from under his brother as Rin pulled his head up, resting it on his chest as he looked at his boyfriend. “Yeah,” he mumbled, fingers tracing small circles into the skin of Sae’s back. “We’re good.”

Ryusei nodded, huffing out a laugh as Sae turned his head and pressed a kiss to his arm. He moved to pull the two of them a little closer, his arms wrapping around them as he leaned down to kiss the tops of their heads.

“So,” Ryusei spoke after a moment, a teasing grin growing on his face. “Round two?”

Rin scowled, pinching his arm. “Let us breathe first, dammit.”

“Ow!” Ryusei pouted, feigning hurt as he rubbed the spot with his arm. “You’re so mean to me. Sae, tell Rin Rin to stop bullying his boyfriend.”

“You’ll be alright,” Sae deapanned, opting to squish his cheek against Rin’s instead, a slight smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as Rin relaxed at the touch. “You should be used to it by now.”

“That’s not fair,” Ryusei groaned, nuzzling his face into Sae’s hair. “You’ll always take his side.”

“That should be a given,” Rin butted in, nuzzling into Ryusei’s touch as his hand shifted to cup his cheek. He paused for a moment before adding a soft “I love you.”

“Yeah, yeah,” Ryusei murmured, brushing his thumb against Rin’s lips. “I love you too, even if you and Sae wanna be mean to me when we’re all together.”

Sae snorted, blinking up at Ryusei. “I love you, too, demon. Don’t act like I don’t.”

Ryusei grinned, soft and genuine as he looked down at both of them, knowing that having both Itoshis confidently say they love him is one of the most precious things in the world, not to be taken lightly. “I know,” he swallowed thickly. “I love you, too.”
