Hi everybody! Before I start what is bound to be the saddest and craziest fic I have ever written, I just wanted to thank everyone who has read my works. Every single comment I get is always positive and encouraging and it really drives me to keep writing and make my writing better.
This fic took a long time to write. I got it done and then reread it and realized I didn't like it, but not because it was bad. It was up to the standard that I have been writing in the past, which isn't nessesarily a bad thing. But as I proofed it (I have no beta readers), I realized I wanted to go bigger. I wanted more out of this than the standard everything gets bad and then gets better with hugs and crying.
I wrote different versions of certain scenes where I killed people and then decided against it and rewrote the scene to only take out the death. I went all out, as much as I could get out, and I'm very happy with the product I created. I've been wanting to write this kind of fic for a while, this premise, but never knew when in the timeline I would be able to have it. So now that I can have it, I'm not pulling punches. Things get messy. That's not to say it's 100% angstfest in there, but it's a lot more than I would usually put out.
This took so many hours of writing and rewriting and using a thesarus and looking at medical websites (I'm definitely on a few watch lists now), so I am very proud of this work. It's my baby. My very sad and trauma inducing baby. I'm finishing it up, putting the finishing touches on it so to speak. Usually I don't like to post my fics unless I have them all the way done, but it has been 3 weeks, and you deserve at least the first chapter of this.
