A sirens song must be answered~

Summary:

After a meeting with her chief navigator Beidou realizes the patch of ocean they have to go through might be inhabited by sirens, the same ones in the old myths. It's her job as captain to find a way to get through without losing any of her crew to the fate of their lethal song.

Luckily she comes up with a plan, and with it might come a pretty siren treasure to call all her own~

Notes:

This fic was made with inspiration from The Odyssey/Epic The Musical/Greek mythology with the sirens, just know that it is not accurate to the Greek myths since I am portraying sirens as mermaids and not as half-bird women and of course this is a Genshin Impact fanfic with my own tweaks so its kinda wonky, because fanfiction.
I was also listening to the song Siren by Kailee Morgue and that’s what gave me the idea to write this in the first place.

The appearance of the reader in this story is as vague as possible so you may imagine yourself or an oc you can fit with the story!

Please note that this fanfic depicts a reader with female anatomy, if you’re not comfortable with that then please don’t read :3 Don’t forget to check the tags!

Chapter Text

Beidou wasn’t afraid of the sea, it was her home. However she did have to take necessary precautions when facing things that also called the sea their home, and today was no different.

The route her navigator set had The Crux going right past a so-called “clear” spot with rough seas around it.

“Are you sure there’s no other way?” Captain Beidou asked her chief navigator, “Not that I'm questioning your skills of course, I just want to know if there are any other ways around.” She stared at the map spread out on the table, with pins stuck in it and red pencil drawn everywhere. Her crew had been working for months on this map, following every clue they had to piece together a long puzzle to find a lost island.

Trying to pinpoint even an approximate location of the chunk of land is better than sailing around aimlessly looking for it.

“This will be the quickest way, we’re talking about a very long way around.” The navigator shook his head, sighing. “Only issue is that this is the more dangerous path, lots of sea storms and who knows what lurks in there.”

Beidou grinned, cracking her knuckles. “Perfect, I’ve been itching for another fight. I know I say I like to keep things calm but I need a bit of excitement.”
One thing bothered her though, the coordinates of the patch of sea they had to pass through on the way, it was like a chunk of the map was missing, an uncharacteristically empty spot that didn’t make sense with how the rest of the map was drawn and shaded.

After she was done with the meeting she headed down to her quarters where a small bookshelf was, eyes skinning the spines of the books until she pulled out a few and started flipping through them, paying close attention to any maps and sentences that mention a blank spot on a sea map.

It took a while before she found something, the writings of an old sailor who went mad after decades at sea by himself. He wrote of an island, not charted on any map, surrounded by jagged rocks and bones with a raging storm around it. He described the island itself as rocky with minimal vegetation from what he could conduct without actually setting foot on land, his description of the inhabitants include words as “striking”, “scaled legs”, “shark-like”, and other words that wouldn’t make sense to the normal eye but Beidou started fitting the pieces together.

Sirens.

Mermaid-like women whose songs lure sailors to their fate to be eaten and torn apart by their sharp teeth, the only reason the old sailor was able to document them and make it out alive was because over the years his hearing slowly left him to the point where he couldn’t hear the siren song. Sadly for Beidou her crew all had working eardrums and would most definitely jump overboard and swim to their doom.

She had to think of a way to ensure their survival and maybe even chart that island on an official map, if it even existed.

~~~
First things first, a siren's song. As long as you can hear it you can’t resist it, it’s impossible to not be overcome with desire and jump the ship. So Beidou called a meeting on the top deck to explain her suspicions and ask a few people to help her go through the supplies and cargo in the hull to find something crafty enough to block out sound.
“Listen up and listen closely,” she had said to the group of people. “We need to find everything we can to use as earplugs, leave no box unopened. Find whatever you can and report back to me to test what you found!”
And with that they got to work.
The first thing someone found was hand picked cotton, but she could still hear her crewmates around her. She needed something to block out sound enough to not be able to make out the words of the song
Eventually after a bit more searching and brainstorming they came across a barrel of beeswax The Crux was transporting. Beeswax had many uses in many different forms and Beidou always made sure to keep a full barrel stocked aboard the Crux so why not try and use it as earplugs.
“Hey boys! Come try this out.” Beidou called out to the other members also digging around in the hull.
They molded the wax to fit in their ears and made sure that it wouldn’t cause any issues.
As soon as she confirmed that they couldn’t hear her when she spoke or shouted and she couldn’t hear them in turn she moved to the next step in her plan.
~~~

As The Crux approached the storm Beidou brought up the wax from the hull and gathered her men on the top deck once again, going through the plan again and having them all come up and shape the wax to fit in their ears as she told them multiple times that this was a serious matter. Beidou cared about her ship and its inhabitants and doesn’t want anyone to succumb to the terrible fate as described in the old myths so she took extra care into making sure they couldn’t hear anything.

“Any members who can still hear me, raise your hands!” She shouted, scanning her crew for anyone who may have their hand raised. When no one responded she nodded her head in satisfaction and pointed for most of the crew to go below deck as was depicted in her plan. They were to go below deck as Beidou and a few veteran crew members navigated through the storm and stay below until they reached the sirens then she would send someone to bring a few more people up to make it look like more of a crew to lure the sirens out.

The fleet were excited at the prospect of sirens even if it was dangerous, they knew captain Beidou wouldn’t let any harm come to them if she could help it. She had also prepared them if there was no siren island at all, saying that the beeswax earplugs were merely a precaution and she would let them know when it was safe to take them out.

With the rest of the crew now safe below, Beidou could turn her focus on the storm ahead, a raging storm on open water was never good but storms happened often and she had more than enough experience to steer through them.

Beidou had her hands tight at the wheel ready to guide her ship through the rough waters but as The Crux got nearer and the storm got closer the sky seemed to clear a bit, there was no rain and no crash of lightning. She looked over to the men on deck and they looked just as confused as she was considering that just a moment ago it looked like there was a rough sea storm, one crew member was furiously scribbling in a journal, documenting the phenomenon that had just happened.

It was only when she looked ahead that she saw the jagged tooth-like rocks peaking high above the waves that she understood, the storm was placed there, meant to confuse you long enough so your ship would crash into the rocks. Leaving you scrambling trying to keep your ship together while whatever lives here can help themselves to a tasty dinner, but the rocks are also meant to be there, as there was only one way to swerve to avoid hitting them if you had enough quick thinking to yank the wheel.

And that’s just what captain Beidou did.

She swerved the ship to miss the rocks and sailed through the dark waters towards an island in the distance, the entire place was covered in a layer of fog, just enough to lower visibility.

Beidou then signaled to one of her crewmates to go below deck and bring up a small group of assigned crew members for this job, they were to stay out of sight but get the weapons and ropes ready to capture and/or harm whoever- or whatever was going to show up. However captain Beidou did tell them not to use their weapons unless absolutely necessary, she was going to be on the front lines confronting whatever was out there.

Her men had been worried about the fact that she wouldn’t be able to hear them or know what they are saying but up until that point Beidou realized she had never told her crew she could read lips, it was a good skill to know when you are out of earshot of an important conversation you need to know, so she was going to use that skill to her advantage.

The Crux was going to sail parallel to the island, because then they could sail away faster if the situation got dicey and because it was the only way to sail so the ship wouldn’t get shredded by rocks.

Captain Beidou now stood at the side of The Crux, straightening her hairpin and resting her arms on the railing and leaning, waiting for something to appear. And appear it did.

~~~
You had been lurking in the water, the wave patterns had changed and you sensed a ship was coming. The first ship in quite a while, had it been 50 years, 500 years, or only a few months? You had lost count.
As The Crux got closer you got more and more excited, it had been so long since you had a good meal and at this point you didn’t care about being cautious not to get captured, you just wanted food.
When The Crux got close enough, you perched yourself on one of the jagged rocks and started to sing, the power of the song clearing the fog and leaving you in perfect sight of captain Beidou.
To say you were entranced is an understatement, luring sailors to their doom meant you had seen a lot of faces over the years but no one compared to her . She could be easily mistaken for one of your siren sisters if she didn't have two legs, well sirens could change their anatomy but it was difficult and they didn't do it often so yeah, legs.
You kept up the song, you sensed her emotions and worries and changed your song accordingly to what could pull at her very soul, overwhelm her with desire to come to you and all her worries could be gone-
So why wasn’t it working-
Maybe she just couldn’t hear you well enough, yeah that must be it, you just needed to get closer.
You scanned the area for another rock closer to the ship, you found one and hopped up upon it, singing another tune while changing your appearance to be her ideal version of beauty . It worked so well for the male sailors, female sailors were more hesitant and cautious by nature so you knew this was going to take a little bit.
“Why hello there-” Beidou called out, a relaxed smile on her face as if they were old friends seeing each other for a coffee date.
You kept a sweet smile even with your sharp teeth as you reached out your arm to her, “come with me in the water! You look so lonely on that big ship all by yourself~”
“Sorry sweetheart, not sure I can do that.” Beidou said. “I’ve got a lot of things to do aboard my vessel, maybe you could come and keep me company while I do them~”
You really should have realized then that you were in trouble.
You pouted, your facade slipping a bit. “But how would I get on? You can’t just leave me here, that would be cruel!” You retorted, trying to keep up the performance. Maybe a different kind of song was in need? But each one is unique to the person and that didn’t work-
“I promise you’ll be safe in my arms~”
“Why don’t you join my crew instead?”
~~~

This back and forth went on for a little while, the both of you giving offers to the other while simultaneously refusing the opposing offer and throwing in a bit of flirting in there as well.

Eventually you had ended up on a rock that was so close to the railing of the ship that all you would need to climb aboard would be a hand to help you up, and that’s exactly what happened.

You and Beidou had reached your hands to each other at the same time, in one quick motion Beidou had reached down to grab your arm and with her strength, pulled you upwards, swinging you over onto The Crux as you let out a yelp of surprise and landed with a wet thud on the deck.

Immediately there were people surrounding you and ropes tying your arms tight to your body before you had the time to react.

“No- No!” Realization hit you as you tried to break free from the ropes but they were snug, all you could do was sit and wait for judgement.

“Well well~” Beidou smiled with satisfaction. “That old sailor wasn’t completely mad after all.”

The captain walked up to you, her boots making a rhythmic thud, thud, thud, against the wooden deck, it reminded you of your own heartbeat. You watched as she got closer, your heart beating faster in your chest.

“Please don’t kill me! I’m the last one left! I’m sorry, I’m sorry please-” You started to plead and cry, all pride and dignity had left you at this point, you didn’t even know how they resisted your song, had you just gone rusty over the centuries? It’s not like your sisters were here anymore to help you-

“The last one eh?” She now knelt down in front of you, fingers lifting your head gently by your chin. “Don’t worry sweetheart, you’ll be right at home here.” Her tone was soft and sincere, there was no hint of cruelty or sarcasm.

Now Beidou’s motto when it comes to treasure is “first come, first serve.” and this was no different, however she wasn’t one to take prisoners. But, this was a very pretty treasure and this wasn’t a prisoner situation if Beidou invited her aboard The Crux as a crew member-

She got an idea.

Beidou stood up and took out her wax earplugs, signaling it was okay for the rest to do the same. You stared at her in realization but now you just knew you were screwed. “Captian Beidou, what are our orders?” One of her crew members asked. Captain Beidou looked down at the siren with a piercing grin, “Boys, take her down to my cabin. Don’t gag her, I’ll take care of her soon~”

The tone of her voice left you wondering what “take care of you” meant, was she going to kill you? But why wouldn’t she do that right there and then?

Your next thought was torture, she was going to torture you for all the sailors you and your sisters had killed. You were the last of your kind, if she killed you now then that means the siren species would be extinct.

But the few members that carried you down to captain Beidou’s quarters were very gentle with you, even when you thrashed and tried to squirm and scream they wouldn’t even get mad, they would just carry on as gently as the could and stopped when they noticed you might hurt them or yourself and waited until you calmed before continuing on.

They placed you gently on the captain's bed, making sure your tail was comfortable and you didn't need more room before leaving, waving goodbye to you and one of them giving you a knowing smirk and wink. What was that about?

Now all you could do was wait, wait for whatever fate was upon you, wait for whatever punishment you may face. You felt the ship start to move, they were probably taking you away from your island, the only home you had ever known. However, since your sister's passing it had been lonely and the vegetation had slowly stopped growing until it turned into a plain, rotten wasteland of bones and rocks. As if the island had sensed the sirens leaving.

You had stopped trying to escape at this point, the bed was comfortable and you knew if you struggled you might fall off onto the hard floor and that would be even more humiliating. So you just cried in silence with your head down.

~~~
It was only maybe 10 minutes but it felt like forever until you heard the sound of the captain's boots headed towards her cabin, the one you were currently in.
You finally looked up when the door opened, Beidou came in and locked the door behind her. Fear started pumping through your veins again as she pulled out a dagger from her bedside drawer but she just looked at you, held up the blade and asked, “you want those ropes cut?”
Now this confused you, she was holding a weapon she could gut you with right there and here she was just asking if you wanted the ropes holding you undone.
Your lack of response made Beidou bark out a short laugh. “Haha! I’m not going to kill you if that's what you’re wondering, I’m literally asking if you want out of those ropes.”
Not trusting yourself to talk at all you just nodded your head and held still as Beidou worked to cut the ropes.
“There we go,” Beidou said after she was finished and the ropes were tossed aside in a heap, but you didn’t know what to do with your hands now. “Heh, my men did a good job. No rope burn that i can see-”
“Why…”
“Hm?” Beidou hummed in question. “Why what?”
“Why keep me, why free me… Why not just kill me, the things I’ve done-” Beidou silences you with a hand on your cheek, the touch startling you as she turns your head to face the captain.
“What you’ve done doesn’t matter now, you can start a new life if you wish to. Aboard The Crux you will be protected, you can stay here as long as you want.”
It was a tempting offer and she sounded sincere about it, you just didn’t know what to say.
You took a deep breath before responding, “I want to say yes, but-” You let the thought trail off.
“But what?” Beidou asks, keeping her hand on your cheek.
“I don’t have a purpose now- with my sisters my purpose was to help them get food for us, to trick sailors. What good would I be on board a ship with sailors I tried to drown…” You felt tears in your waterline again, not looking her in the eyes. Was Beidou really going to let you stay on her ship? You had lived for thousands of years and had seen an endless amount of ships and sailors but had very little knowledge of it, after all they did become your lunch.
Beidou could sense the deeper meaning behind your words and came up with an idea.
“Well, if you feel like you don’t belong then why don’t you just stay with me? Be my pretty treasure~”
You finally looked up at that. Treasure?
“That got your attention huh?” She smirked, “I can give you small jobs until you get the hang of it, and I will personally see to your safety aboard the ship and when we are on dry land.”
You wanted to accept it, to say yes to being her treasure. The petname giving you a warm fuzzy feeling you’ve only felt a couple times in your lifetime, but one small thing bothered you.
“Did you know I could go on land?”
Beidou huffed a small laugh, “I have to admit, no I didn’t.” She then leaned in close, right by your ear. “ Can you?
It seemed like a challenge, you guessed that her being a pirate she was familiar with challenges.
“Step back, this might be a little unsettling.”
As Beidou took a backwards step away from the bed you swung your tail off the edge of it, making sure you were situated before closing your eyes and concentrating on the element of hydro.
Being a siren, your species was made out of the hydro element. Giving you minor control of it and the use of it to alter your bodies, not as much as someone with a hydro vision could but the power did flow through your veins.
Your tail started to glow softly, your big fin shrinking into human feet, then where your ankles would be, your skin started to separate, splitting down the middle until you had two legs. But the split didn’t have flesh, it was glowing water. That water then began to mend the skin on the insides of your legs until you were left with two scaly legs with a long scar running down the inside of each of them, reaching down to your ankles.
With this transformation you were now completely nude in front of the captain, you experimentally moved your legs separately, smiling in satisfaction of your work.
Beidou was impressed to say the least, she had seen many things in her time as the captain of The Crux but this was something else entirely. A siren who could adorn human legs through the power of hydro was definitely worthy of someone as beautiful as the girl in front of her.
“Safe to say I wasn't expecting that, I might even be a little aroused~” She stepped forward and placed her hands on your thighs, feeling the scaled skin there under her fingers. She leaned forward again to whisper in your ear, “ how much relief have you gotten in all those years? You can feel free to reject my advances right now and we can pretend this never happened, I will always give you a choice .”
~~~

No more words were needed after that, she really did treat you like a precious treasure, one to be cherished and worshipped. Beidou’s hands wandered to feel as much of the soft silk of your skin as she possibly could while you worked on her clothing, not knowing how human clothes worked you could only manage to get her short shawl-like cape and gloves off before getting frustrated.
“Stupid complicated fabrics-” You muttered under your breath, making Beidou laugh in amusement.

“Here, let go, I’ll take the rest off.” Beidou removed your hands as she took off her boots and the rest of her garments, minus her eyepatch, setting her vision on the bedside table before taking out her hairpin. The rest of her long brown hair falling down her shoulders now that there was nothing holding it up.

“I never thought a human could be this pretty-” You said in awe of her nude form, the perfect curve of her hips and plush of her breasts, her strong thighs that your teeth ached to bite.

“Careful now, I’m here to make sure you feel good sweetheart.” Her callused hands traveled, one up to your breast to squeeze and play with and one down to your most sensitive area to grind against.

You wrapped your arms around her neck, pulling her in for a kiss. You did have to be careful with your sharp teeth so as not to draw blood but Beidou got the hang of it and soon it was a full on makeout session.

Beidou took the initiative, taking her hand out from between your thighs where a puddle of slick had gathered and used that slicked hand to lift you farther onto the bed. Slotting herself between your thighs she looked insanely smug and proud of herself, you expected nothing less of a woman like her. Currently all you wanted was whatever she would give you.

“Now let’s see-” Beidou held up her hand, shiny with arousal fluid. The sight making you blush, you didn’t even know your body really did that. Of course you had explored yourself before but nothing was ever enough to get you aroused like this, since your species didn’t have males to mate with you had always wondered why sirens even had parts of a female reproductive system.

Well now you know, it’s for pure pleasure.

Your thoughts were interrupted when the captain brought her slick coated hand to her mouth, diligently licking the digits clean, savoring the taste on her tongue, closing her eyes and humming in satisfaction which caused your brain to short circuit even more.

“Hmm~” She hummed.
“Sweet with a hint of salt, can’t quite describe it but I like it.”

“Mind if I get it from the source?”

Now that question made you cover your face and whimper, you still eagerly nodded your head since you didn’t trust yourself to speak at that moment.

“What was that dear? I'm going to need to hear words, otherwise I don't know your answer.”

“Yes-” your voice was a bit hoarse, “yes please! You can do anything!”

You would beg and plead even more if she asked you, your shame was gone and you didn’t even care if the other crew members heard you.

“Good girl~”
She was going to be the death of you-
You wanted everything she was willing to give you and more.

You watched as Beidou shuffled back and leaned down so she was eye level with your wet cunt, she blew on it just to see you squirm from the cold before sticking out her tongue and licking from the bottom of your pussy right up to the top. Circling your clit before sinking into your core, Beidou moaned from the taste alone, it was like a drug to her.

You would have been embarrassed about the noises coming out of your mouth if it didn’t feel so damn good- How Beidou knew just where to press and lick were beyond your imagination, you didn’t even know if she had ever been with a woman before but from her expertise and skillful tongue you wouldn’t doubt it.

“Archons please!~ Right there-”

You threw your head back at the sheer white hot pleasure, no one had ever made you feel this way, not even you could finger yourself to a satisfying orgasm like this. You hadn't even cum yet and it felt absolutely amazing-

Beidou kept at it, making sure to pay attention to your swollen clit and slipping one finger into you and curling it making you whine and clutch the bedsheets.

Another finger was added and you went to grab Beidou’s hair but paused, scared to hurt her.

Beidou noticed and looked up at you with your hand in mid-air waiting for confirmation, she nodded her head and signaled for you to grip her hair.

“Here hun, grab by the roots and tug. I like it~”

You were sure your face down to your chest was completely flushed from how warm you felt, as soon as your hand found purchase in her hair Beidou curled her fingers making you clench your fingers into her hair as you let out a moan that you were almost embarrassed of but you were too fucked out to care.

She kept a steady rhythm, bringing you closer and closer to an orgasm. All these years living of killing male sailors then there's one random woman who actually cares about you? Yeah you could die right then and be in eternal bliss.

“Beidou! Please! I want to- I’m gonna-” You wanted this to last longer, you really did, but Beidou’s one and only goal right now was to make you cum.

She knew exactly what you were trying to say, your body was like an open book, she could read you perfectly. Every twitch, every arch of your back and clench of your muscles, the breathy moans escaping your perfect soft lips that sounded simply divine.

“Come for me sweetheart~ I know you can do it~”
Those words played in your head like an incantation, the pressure in your abdomen getting tighter and tighter like a rubber band as you pulled Beidou closer to you and closed your thighs around her head, unable to keep them open.

“FUCK! Oh Archons!~” The rubber band snapped and your orgasm washed over you, your vision went white and everything seemed so far away. Beidou kept fingering you, helping you ride out your orgasm as your juices leaked even more, she just couldn’t get enough of your taste and you could faintly hear the sounds of your own soaked cunt and her moaning from between your legs.

Your head felt like it was a cloud and your body felt lighter than its been in centuries, you didn’t even notice when Beidou had sat up, licking her fingers clean once again, completely drunk on your scent and taste.

“Well fuck me, you taste better than the finest liquor I’ve ever had~”

This was quite a statement considering you knew how much humans enjoyed liquor, but you could tell she meant it. You were still on the bed, breathing fast from cumming so hard, but Beidou leaned in to kiss you again. Her tongue sliding against yours to let you have a taste of yourself, she wasn’t wrong, sweet with a hint of salt.

Eventually you had to pull away for air, pulling her body closer on top of you. But she had other ideas, with you holding tight to her she rolled you over on the bed so you were on top and straddling her torso.

With this you were laying right on her plush breasts and she could pull a blanket over the two of you while the post-orgasmic fuzz cleared from your mind.

But one thing dawned on you.
“Mm, you didn’t get anything though-”

Beidou had to think for a moment before she realized what you were trying to say, “Huh?”
When she did realize she let out a small laugh and pulled you closer, “I wanted you to feel good for today okay sweetheart? If you want to give me pleasure in return I would be happy to receive, but right now you’re almost falling asleep here~”

She was right, you were so warm and comfortable it was impossible not to nod off a bit wrapped in strong arms that you knew would protect you from harm.

“Don’t worry about my crew, they can run the ship just fine while their captain takes a well deserved rest. Once you wake up I can clean you up properly and get you some clothes.”

You liked that idea, clean clothes and maybe some food yet as well, there must be so many dishes you have missed out on over the years. You didn’t even know if you were still immortal now that you were gone from the island you now used to call your home, but right now that didn’t matter, home was here in Beidou’s arms.

Chapter Text

The human world was fascinating, the architecture, the food, the people, it was insane! You soon found out that you still possessed some of your siren powers, appearance changing and your charming voice were the main ones. As well as control over the hydro element, Beidou had gotten a fake vision made for you so you could blend in easier, even though you didn’t look fully human. Sharp teeth and scales on your skin, and the captain wouldn’t have you any other way.

You had adjusted to life aboard The Crux, you got tasks to do while taking care of the other crew members and you got to spend time with your lover. There really couldn’t have been a better arrangement.

Now you leaned on the side railing, looking out over the Liyue landscape where the ocean meets the rocks. Having just picked up some cargo the crew was now headed towards Inazuma, the land of eternity, to deliver the goods. Beidou came up beside you, letting your head fall onto her shoulder.

“It should be smooth sailing from here hun.” She said with a smile, content and happy.
You hummed in agreement, but something was weighing on your mind.

“Do you think my sisters would be happy the way I’m living now?”

“What do you mean by that?” Beidou asked.

“Well,” you started, “They never got this freedom, to explore the world and experience all this-”
“But would they want you to do this? Wouldn’t they be happy you left the island? To experience it all for them.”

You pondered that for a moment, your sisters wanted nothing but the best for each other so it would be natural they would be proud of you for living how you wanted.

Your lips broke into a smile, “yeah… they would be happy.”

Beidou chuckled and kissed the top of your head, “that’s my treasure~ Come on now, we still got a few more things to do before supper.”

You let out a small laugh and flashed her a smile, “yes captain~”

You followed her to finish your chores for the day, thinking about the life you had compared to now. It really was nice aboard The Crux and being with your lover Beidou and being her treasure was the best thing to ever happen to you.

Now you just had to hope that you didn’t outlive her like everyone else…

Notes:

Sorry for the angst, I like torturing myself by hinting that because the siren outlived her sisters means that she's going to outlive her lover as well ToT

Anyway, I hope this was a good read! Please tell me if there's any spelling or major grammar mistakes (If it's something small then leave it, google doc grammar checker can only do so much to help me)

ALSO, if there's two end notes i apologize cuz i don't know how to get rid of the second one... its non existent in the editing thing so if its there just ignore it please ToT
