Author’s Note:

I’ve been checking out Reaction fics lately; a fic where the Author gets the characters to react to their movie, show, or fanfiction, or other universes, like the RWBY cast watching their show, the My Hero Academia cast reacting to a universe where Deku becomes a vigilante or a villain, or Sonic and the gang watching the MCU movies.

I realized there weren’t any Adventure Time Reaction fics.

I searched far and wide and couldn’t find any. The closest was a fic about Finn, Jake, PB, Marcy, and others reacting to a Star Wars parody, but it’s too short and not much happens. In fact, most of the story is just Finn and Jake gathering people to their tree house and then when the movie plays, it skipped to the end, and we don’t see their reactions.

So, I took the liberty of writing a Reaction fic where the Adventure Time cast reacts to my fanfic: “Human Myth: Mertens”

I’m hoping this takes off because I would love to see more Adventure Time Reaction fics pop up. I would like if someone wrote the Adventure Time characters reacting to other fanfics, like “Something More” or “The True King of Ooo”, or the AT characters reacting to other universes/worlds, like Gravity Falls, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, Warhammer 40K, or SCP Foundation.

Now, like most Reaction fics, I do have the option of creating a super powerful OC multiverse level being that can gather the AT characters and make them watch, but the thing is, I don’t need to do that.

Prismo’s Theater: The Gathering Crowd (Part 1)

[1 Years after GOLB’s defeat]

Prismo the Wishmaster smiled while observing Finn and Jake from his yellow cube of a home that is the time room through the screen on the wall in front of him. Even after a year of GOLB’s defeat and Betty sacrificing herself, the young human and his dog brother continued to adventure across Ooo.

Although, he worries about Jake’s wellbeing because he knew that his precious stretchy dog’s best friend didn’t have a long lifespan like a human’s. It was going to destroy him when Jake was finally going to kick the bucket, and he knew that Finn wasn’t going to take it well, just like him.

Prismo observed the two; Finn was hanging out with his mom at the newly created human town on Ooo, and Jake was in his true-blue alien form hanging out with Lady Rainicorn.
The two still did not have a permanent home after their Tree Fort was destroyed by GOLB’s minion, but the two Heroes of Ooo didn’t seem to mind.

They mostly camped, and sometimes, Finn spent the night at Lady Rainicorn’s home or at the human town that was built by Minerva and the other humans from Founder’s Island. He did notice that Jake’s granddaughter, Bronwyn, was hanging out with Finn more, and it looked like she was training to become the next big Hero of Ooo, just like Sweet P.

Everything was fine, but to Prismo’s confusion, a phone that had a gothic bat wing on the right of it and an angelic wing on the left of it appeared near him and started to ring.

“Huh? What does the Boss want?” He asked curiously and picked up the phone.

“What can I do for you, Boss?”

“Yes, what happened, sir?”

Prismo gasped.

“What do you mean we need to watch something?”

Prismo grew concerned because he felt like this was going to be another Farmworld situation, but this was different.

“Only to watch? Like, do we need to gather everybody? Why?”

Prismo nodded.

“To teach everyone a lesson about an Ooo that lacks a great Hero? To see if a human can do some good from a different universe?”

He heard murmuring from the phone.

“Is it another universe that has been infested by a piece of The Lich?”

“It is? I understand. Do I have to gather everyone?”

“You’ll do it? It looks like I’ll have to make space for everyone.” Prismo said, waving his hand and creating a lot of comfy chairs.

“We are only allowed to just watch how this universe plays out? I’m not allowed to send in Finn and Jake to right the error?”

“Ok, Boss. Also I’m not responsible for creating this universe through a wish and-“

Prismo paused and relaxed.

“Ok, whew.” He said with relief.

“What do we call this universe?”

“The Terra Verse? Sounds interesting.”

The Wishmaster was fascinated that he got to observe another universe where things are a bit different in Ooo, but he was a bit anxious because in this scenario, he wouldn’t be allowed to send in Finn and Jake to fix the universe, just like the two Heroes of Ooo were able to save Farmworld Finn from the corruption of the ice crown and to stop Farmworld Lich who was possessing Farmworld Jake.

Cosmic Owl came flying in with a new board game.

“Hey, buddy. I got a new game we can play.”

“Not now, man. I just got a call from the Boss, and he wants us to observe something.”

Cosmic Owl looked at him confused.

“Observe what?”

The 18-year-old Finn Mertens was relaxing in the newly created human settlement on Ooo. He was still sad over losing the Tree Fort, but Finn was able to manage fine by staying at a house that the Minerva bots helped him build, and while he pretty much had a home now, Finn still preferred to rough it in the wild so he could continue going on adventures. He might even get himself a camper van or an RV sooner or later.

The young man was so used to living in Ooo that it felt strange to him living among normal humans. All this time of wondering if he was fated to be the last human to die in the world and kept pondering if other humans are out there, Finn accepted his place of being a human in a world of gods, demons, monsters, talking animals and inanimate objects, and aliens.

He couldn’t relate that well to the other humans that lived a normal life on Founder’s Island because of his bizarre journey filled with all sorts of oddities, but despite that, Finn was still happy that humanity has a chance to rise and live again.
It’s why his new home was more on the outskirts of the human town. It was a simple wooden cottage similar to PB’s. They may have lost the Tree Fort, but their living conditions more or less didn’t change much as Jake and BMO still lived with him, with Jake sometimes dropping by at Lady Rainicorn’s home every now and then to check up on her and his kids.

His 18-year-old Birthday party that he had a few weeks ago was filled with so much hype and cheer that was celebrated at the Candy Kingdom; the day that Finn Mertens finally became a man. There were a lot more people this time and some of the Ooo folks didn’t know that 18 was the age when a human is considered an adult, so it was kind of funny explaining that to the diverse non-human folk of Ooo.

Marceline even wanted to pop his ‘sober cherry’ by giving him his first alcoholic beverage, but was stopped by an annoyed PB and Jake. It felt wonderful to finally have his mom at his Birthday party and Phoebe was there this time. She couldn’t attend his last Birthday party because of her royal duties to the Fire Kingdom, and it was a good thing she didn’t because of the Gumbald and Fern situation.

Thankfully, things in Ooo were more peaceful after the defeat of GOLB, so she and a few other princesses like Slime Princess, Crab Princess, Breakfast Princess, Lumpy Space Princess, and others were able to attend.

His last Birthday left a sour taste in his mouth, being ruined by PB’s ‘family’ and a vengeful Fern that wanted to get even with him and PB. Ice King dressed as Flame Princess emerging from his Birthday cake also didn’t help his sanity. He was glad his 18th Birthday was special and legendary.

He still missed Fern and was planning on visiting his grave site to pay him respect.

The champion of Ooo was still a bit disappointed…at his body. He was 18 now and considered a grown man, but his body refused to develop any rock-hard adult muscles. All he did was get a bit taller and his voice got deeper and that’s it. Jake, PB, and his mom, Minerva did tell him that he shouldn’t fret and that he is still growing and will hit a growth spurt really soon.

They did have a point as his legs and stomach were becoming more toned, so he should definitely keep working out and adventuring. Ooo might have been peaceful now, but an incident or crime will sometimes break out every now and then.

After Finn relieved himself in the bathroom of his house, a letter teleported in front of him in a pink flash. The young human immediately knew it was from Prismo because he recognized that pink flash.

“Huh? What does Prismo want?” He picked up the letter and began reading it.

Hello, Finn, I got a call from my Boss, and he wants to gather you, and others across Ooo to observe a universe that is about to be doomed by an aspect of the Lich. Unfortunately, he made it clear that we must ONLY observe it, and that you cannot meddle in it like with the Farmworld verse.

When you are transported into my room, please tell the others to settle down and educate them about what’s going on. He is unfortunately not giving anyone consent as he made it clear that no one can say no to his demands.
I have sent another letter to Jake to tell him what’s happening. When you arrive, I will explain more. Expect to be teleported here in the next 5 minutes.

Finn stared at the letter in puzzlement. It was another universe that was about to be conquered by the Lich? But what bothered him was the fact that he is only forced to watch and can’t enter this other verse to stop the Lich variant. Finn was still a bit disappointed that he couldn’t talk to Farmworld Finn. He wanted to know more about his alternate self that lived a simple farm life and had both a mom and dad that loved him and took care of him, but he never got the chance.
It still floored Finn to see that Jake was just a plain normal dog in the Farmworld.

The young human man quickly started to get ready.

5 minutes later, Finn and Jake are teleported to Prismo’s Time Room. Inside the Time Room wasn’t just Prismo, but Cosmic Owl, Death, and Party God were also there. The two Heroes were also surprised to see so many chairs laid out across the Time Room.

“Oh, good, you guys are here!” Prismo said with joy.

“Prismo, what’s going on? Why is your Boss telling us we need to watch Farmworld 2.0?” Jake questioned.

“Yeah, what happened?” Finn added.

“Hey you two.” Jake quickly waved and greeted Cosmic Owl and Death.

“Hey back to you.” Cosmic Owl said to the heroic dog of Ooo.

“Hello, mortals.” Death said to Finn and Jake.

“Yo, my favorite off the hook party dog!” Party God gave Jake a hearty hello.

“Boss man wants us to observe a universe that is doomed to fall, but there is an anomaly about it that has him interested in it. I had nothing to do with this universe, but he said that it could possibly be saved without us interfering like what happened with the Lich using Ice Finn to open the portal to the multiverse using the Enchiridion.” Prismo said to Finn and Jake.

“But why bring a lot of people across Ooo to watch this universe? It was a total pain seeing the alternate Finn almost dooming the world.” Jake said with annoyance.

The heroic dog was still bothered at how Farmworld Finn nearly lost everything to the ice crown and the Lich, and he couldn’t handle watching another alternate Finn living a normal life and then everything falls apart. It was made worse by the fact that he couldn’t interfere like he did with Farmworld Finn.

“It’s the Boss’s orders my guy. Most folks in Ooo don’t realize how different things can be in a universe if something changes; it could be small or large, but something always changes, and I guess he wants everyone to see a scenario where events are different in Ooo.” Prismo explained.

“So, your Boss basically wants us to watch an alternate version of Ooo like a movie?” Finn asked.

“Think of it like Farmworld 2.0, but the Boss told me this one will be different. We can’t interfere so this world surviving hinges on the people within the universe taking a stand, Finn and Jake.” Prismo said seriously.
Finn and Jake looked a bit uncomfortable.

“I thought we destroyed the Lich for good? Sweet P destroyed the Lich’s hand that tried to murder me. He exists in other dimensions too?” Finn said to Prismo.

“Well…remember when your Grass Sword attacked the Lich?”

Prismo pulled up a screen, showing the Lich’s hand being chopped and falling into the portal of the multiverse.

The human and dog gasped in shock.

“Yeah…some universes have a Lich variant popping up. Boss wants me to show you guys a universe where there is a possibility that the Lich variant will either destroy the world, or it can be defeated without our intervention.”

While they were interested in the prospect of observing another scenario in the universe, they didn’t like the idea that if the people of the world failed to unite, it would have been claimed by the Lich. Fighting GOLB was bad enough, but it didn’t sit well with the two Heroes that this might turn into another situation of a Lich variant trying to open the portal to the multiverse and they couldn’t step in.

For Jake, it made him sick to his belly watching Farmworld Finn suffer when he used the crown, witnessed the Lich possessing the other Jake, and old woman Marceline died trying to prevent the world from ending from the bomb exploding.
It still saddened Jake to this very day that while they were able to rescue Farmworld Finn and Jake, it was too late for Farmworld Marceline…

Finn sighed after both Heroes were silently contemplating.

“Is it another version of me in this one?” Finn finally spoke up.

Prismo nodded.

“Yes. The Boss calls this universe the Terra Verse and this alternate Finn will be called Terra Finn. Terra Finn will be a bit different than Farmworld Finn, and I am not responsible for creating this universe through a wish.” Prismo said to the human.
“Alright, Prismo. We’ll watch it.” Finn agreed. Jake looked at his human brother with an unsure look.

“Are you sure this is ok, Finn?”

“Yes, we are only watching. I’m not going to leave your side, bro, like I did when I made the wish to get rid of the Lich. If we can survive GOLB, nothing bad can happen as long as we have each other. We did beat that Bag of Bones twice; the first time when I had Bonnie’s pink sweater and the second time when we fought it to rescue the alternate me and you.” Finn smiled while patting Jake’s shoulder.

“Besides, I really want to see an alternate version of myself kicking the crud out of the Lich variant! Think of it like we are watching a movie where we are the actors!”
Jake smiled and chuckled.

“Haha, you’re right, dude. Ok, Prismo. Who is going to be invited to this alternate reality movie party?”

“The Boss didn’t tell me who is coming, but he says he will start off slow by transporting one person in and then the number will increase overtime. Your job is to explain what’s happening when a person comes in. Do not worry about food, drinks, and a bathroom, I will provide the necessities.”

Jake’s eyes lit up.

“Oh, even popcorn and-“

“Yes, Jake, haha.” Prismo chuckled.

“Even your favorite sandwich.”

“Alright! Oh, yeah!” Finn and Jake cheered.

“I will require no such thing, well…maybe. I’ll think about it.” Death stated and took a seat in one of the comfy chairs.

“You can go ahead and give me some popcorn, buddy.” Cosmic Owl said to Prismo, sitting next to Death.

“So why do you three want to watch this?” Jake asked the three cosmic beings.

“Nothing better to do, plus I wanna see what my other self is doing. I kind of want to know what he is going to do to fix a certain mistake…” Cosmic Owl said, thinking back to the incident with the dream bird woman he had a crush on that tampered with PB’s dream.

“What mistake, Cosmic Owl?” Jake looked at him confused.

“Oh, it’s just something minor. You know? Those days where you could have done something differently if you were given a chance to go back in time.”

Jake nodded, understanding what the cosmic bird was trying to say. Finn can also relate to what the cosmic bird was saying.

He wondered if he didn’t force Flame Princess to fight Ice King, would they still be boyfriend and girlfriend to this very day? Or what if he was prepared to handle Kee-Oth and didn’t lose the Demon Blood Sword. He never would have gotten the Grass Sword and never would have accidentally created Fern.

Death leaned back in his seat.

“I also wonder how different the Death is from the other reality. Could he literally be me in every exact way, or does he have his own unique identity? Did he marry Life?” Death said with interest.

Party God started to speak his peace.

“Awooo! I live for parties! The idea of there being another god of parties in a different world that loves to raise the roof intrigues me! Does he throw bigger parties then me? Does he still have his woman?” Party God said as he was still a bit upset over being dumped by the island woman.

“And I just love this massive gathering of different folks in one place. I hope to see a big party play out when all is said and done!” Party God didn’t sit down in one of chairs, he instead chose to be in the very back of the theater and floated near the ceiling, giving him a perfect view of everything.

Finn also realized that not many people met Prismo and the other cosmic beings, even PB and Marcy didn’t meet them.

“Oh, so when everyone starts coming in, should we tell them that you are Prismo the Wishmaster?”

“Yeah, Prismo. Wouldn’t everyone be demanding a wish from you when they discover who and what you are?” Jake added.

“Ahh, yes. You both have a point. I’ll have to explain over and over again why making a wish has a monkey’s paw effect, so I think I’ll do this.” Prismo’s body shimmered and the powerful cosmic being took on the form of the old man.

“Oh, you are using the body of the old man dreaming about you? But how will we explain to everyone dropping in that we are stuck in this room unless they all sit down and watch an alternate reality of Ooo.” Jake said to Prismo.

“I have a plan.” Prismo said, waving his hand and creating a letter.

“What’s that all about?” Jake grabbed the paper and looked at it.

“This letter will explain to everyone that a powerful cosmic being from a different reality has gathered them to watch a movie in the form of another alternate version of Ooo. They can’t leave the room until they watch it, and they don’t have to worry about any business they have in Ooo because time is halted and food, drinks, and a bathroom will be provided. There will be breaks every now and then. Of course, we will say that this entity is mysterious and unknown, and you two cannot mention me at all as you both are also not supposed to be aware of what’s going on.” Prismo explained to the Heroes.

“Prismo is correct in that mortals will want a wish from him should they show up in the Time Room and discover his true nature.” Death said while scratching his bony forehead.

“Correct, Death. Just tell the person coming in you both were transported here by the entity and give them the letter.” Prismo said to the human and dog.

“What about you, Party God? I remember you giving me a wish.” Jake said.

“I gave you that wish because you were worthy, Jake. That wish was a gift from me to you for showing me how a totally radical party animal you are!” Party God explained.

“I admit that power of a thousand partying demons going through my body felt amazing.” Jake chuckled and grinned, remembering how he used the power boost to rescue Finn from the gnomes.
“Any more questions?” Prismo spoke up.

The two Heroes of Ooo shook their heads.

“Ok, I guess we can do this.” Finn reluctantly agreed.

“Alright.” Jake also agreed.

A glowing yellow circle appeared on the floor in the Time Room.

“Ah, the Boss is now transporting people from Ooo into my room. You both will refer to me as Old Man P and nothing else.” Prismo braced himself as the Boss didn’t exactly tell him who was arriving at his room.

A circle of light in the middle of the floor created a portal and someone slowly rose up from the circle with flames suddenly gushing out of the portal. Finn and Jake were shocked to discover who it was after the flames whuffed out.
Hunson Abadeer appeared in the Time Room and looked around confused.

“Huh? This ain’t the Nightosphere, where-oh! Hey, Finn and Jake!” Hunson’s confusion turned into delight when he laid eyes on the human and dog.

“Did you guys summon me, or was it my daughter?” He asked the both of them.

Finn handed Hunson the letter.

“Long story short, we are trapped in this room until we watch a movie about Ooo. A movie that involves our alternate selves from a different universe.” Finn said while Hunson read through the letter.

“I am curious about who or what this mysterious thing is. All it wants us to do is watch an alternate version of Ooo? Is my daughter and I in it?” Hunson asked.

“Uhh…” Finn was at a loss for words, but Prismo nodded at him.

“Y-Yes, you and Marceline are in it. Think of it like watching a movie where you guys are actors, and I’m sure she is going to arrive soon to watch it with us.” Finn said with a faint smile.

Finn hoped this wouldn’t be Farmworld Marceline 2.0 where she was miserable, was stuck forever guarding the crown, and pretty much died failing to stop the Lich from coming.

Hunson wouldn’t be too happy…

“Good! A fun movie marathon about real events from a different world with my daughter by my side sounds fun!” Hunson sat down on one of the chairs.

“I do wonder if Marceline in this other universe becomes the ruler of the Nightosphere, or something different happens, or she finds a lucky guy to give her children because I’ll be quite jealous that the other me gets to be a grandfather! My interest is now piqued because the letter mentions that this alternate Ooo is a bit different from ours. When the viewing starts, I want some popcorn.” Hunson said while relaxing in the chair.

The portal glowed and revealed a human man with brown hair, tanned skin, and glasses.

“Where am I?” The human named Simon Petrikov asked with confusion and fear.

“Settle down, Simon. Nothing bad is happening, we are gathered here to watch a movie about an alternate Ooo.” Finn said to Simon.

“Yeah, buddy. We are golden.” Jake said and handed Simon the letter. After Simon took a moment to relax and read the letter, he was intrigued.

“An alternate world where I didn’t find the crown? Interesting.” Simon said. He wondered if it meant that he never became the Ice King and lived happily ever after with Betty. Though, would he die before even getting to take care of the young Marceline? Would the Great Mushroom War still happen? He might never know.

Watching a reality where things played differently fascinated the former king of ice, so he sat down in one of the comfy chairs. After all, he was assured that Marceline would soon be arriving.

He immediately took notice of Hunson Abadeer while the giant wolf head wearing a hat was eyeing him suspiciously.

“Hunson, have you been taking care of Marceline like you promised?” He asked. Hunson smiled and nodded.

“Hello, Simon, and yes! I’ve been taking good care of her, and I don’t suck souls anymore. I just went to her last performance where she made a rocking song in front of ghosts. I got beat up though…” Hunson said. Simon eyed him curiously.

“You actually got beat up?”

Hunson gave him an uncomfortable chuckle.

“Yeah, my power got sealed by Pep-But and all that.” He replied.

Party God floated close to Simon and sniffed him.

“You…you smell familiar. You smell like that jerk Ice King that beat me up, got my woman to dump me, and threw me into space.” Party God growled angrily.

“Oh, I uhh…” Simon looked at him nervously and noticed that Finn and Jake were shaking their heads.

“Umm, no, sir. I’m not related to that terrible king of ice that did that to you. I’m just a normal human that isn’t a king and I don’t have any ice powers.” Simon said nervously.

He stared down at the human for a moment and made up his mind after contemplating.

“Hmm, you are right. You don’t look like a blue wrinkly old loser with a flapping beard. My apology.” Party God said and returned to his spot.

The circular portal on the floor glowed again and revealed to be a green skinned female humanoid wearing a brown cloak, none other than Huntress Wizard.

“What is the meaning of this?” HW said with confusion and alarm, and was about to grab her bow.

“Easy down, HW.” Finn said, walking up to her.

“Finn, what’s going on? Where are we?” HW looked around the room in confusion. Finn explained the situation to HW and even showed her the letter.
“I honestly don’t know how to feel about this.” HW stated.

“I know, I was shocked too, but I just accepted it because its like watching a movie. You are in the movie HW, and I have no idea what role you are going to play in this alternate version of Ooo, just like me. I don’t know what’s going to go down with myself.” Finn said to her.

HW pondered for a moment and finally made up her mind.

“Well…ok, but only because you and I didn’t get a chance to have a movie night.” HW smiled and went in to kiss his cheek, causing Finn to blush and chuckle.

Finn and HW weren’t necessarily dating as HW was not ready for a serious relationship because of her solitary lifestyle as a hunter of the woods. While the human and green humanoid of the wilderness didn’t mind showing affection towards each other, they weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

Finn didn’t mind as he still enjoyed HW’s company.

“Man, why couldn’t you get with my boy?” Jake muttered under his breath while observing the interaction. He was still a bit upset over HW’s complicated ‘rule’ of not being able to form a serious romantic relationship with Finn.

“How cute.” Prismo whispered.

“Man, I really need to put myself back on the dating market…” Hunson thought.

“Young love can burn out fast, or can last forever…” Death said mentally, watching the human and the humanoid hunter.

“Oh, Glob, end me…” Cosmic Owl quietly whined, being a bit jealous that his relationship with the dream bird woman didn’t work out. He didn’t know what was going on with Finn and HW, but it seems they are at least on good terms, unlike what happened with a certain female dream bird.

“He will so pay…” Party God growled as he was still upset over the Ice King ruining his relationship with the island woman.

“You are so right, HW! We didn’t get a chance to have a movie night together; this will be awesome!” Finn said with joy as HW took her seat.

“A world where my life is different does intrigue me, Finn. Let’s see where this goes.” HW said to the young human man.

The portal gained a second energy ring as Prismo walked over to Finn and Jake and whispered in their ear.

“Brace yourself guys, the number of folks being summoned is starting to increase now.”

The champions of Ooo nodded at Prismo.

The portal started to glow bright again, and someone was about to be summoned. Two robots and a giant lady arose from the portal, revealing them to be BMO, NEPTR, and Canyon.

“Ah! Where are we!?” BMO asked with confusion and fear.

“What is this place?” NEPTR looked around in shock.

Canyon braced herself for combat, balling up her fists ready to punch anything that might attack her.

“Those little robots look so adorable.” Prismo muttered quietly.

Finn explained the situation to the two robots and Canyon just like the others and even gave them the letter.

“Do we even exist in this alternate world?” BMO asked curiously.

“Yeah, it was you that built me, Creator. Could it be possible that someone else would have created me in this alternate reality, or am I doomed just being scarp metal?” NEPTR asked sadly.

“This alternate reality…do you think Billy lives and continued being a Hero of Ooo?” The giant Water Elemental woman that is Canyon asked Finn.

“Chin up guys, I am certain you both exist in the other alternate Ooo.” Finn said, trying to cheer them up. He hoped they existed because he recalled that in Farmworld, Farmworld BMO and Farmworld NEPTR were nowhere to be found and most likely didn’t exist in that world.

“And Canyon, I don’t know what you and Billy’s roles will be in this alternate version of Ooo, hopefully it’s a world where Billy survived and kept being the legendary Hero of Ooo.” Finn said to Canyon.

Finn was still disgusted and horrified at the fact that the Lich wore Billy’s dead body like a skin suit. He prayed that the Terra Finn will beat the crud out of the Lich variant.

He also remembered when he was trying to grab the Enchiridion from Ice Farmworld Finn, Billy was alive in the world and was trapped in an ice prison, but he was a human warrior. Finn was curious to see if Billy was also a human in this alternate world.
BMO and NEPTR took their seats next to each other.

“Either way, a movie about Ooo with different circumstances sounds pretty cool. I wonder where I’ll be in Ooo, will I be Finn and Jake’s best friends, or will I have different friends and live somewhere else?” BMO said.

“I know, the possibilities are endless!” NEPTR said with excitement.

“I do hope I’m not just scarp metal…”

“I wonder if robots like popcorn…” Hunson thought, eyeing the two small robots.

“Ok, I’ll bite. Here’s hoping you, Billy, and I band together in this different world.” Canyon said. She didn’t sit down in one of the chairs, she instead chose to sit down on the floor.

“Heck yeah! Us teaming up would be SO cool!” Finn said with excitement.

Prismo saw this and waved his finger, creating a large pillow for Canyon to sit down on.

“Oh, how sweet. Thank you whoever you are.” Canyon smiled and sat down on the pillow.

“Who or what did that?” HW thought.

The portal glowed and brought in more folks and this time, it was Lady Rainicorn, Lady and Jake’s five half-rainicorn, half-dog children, Charlie, TV, Viola, Kim Kil Whan, and Jake Jr. Joining also was Jake and Lady Rainicorn’s granddaughter and child of Kim Kil Whan, Bronwyn, and Lady Rainicorn’s parents, Bob and Ethel.

“Howdy, Lady, puppies, Bronwyn, and my In-laws!” Jake greeted his family warmly.

(Dear, what’s going on?) Lady asked Jake.

“Yeah, dad. Where are we?” Jake Jr said.

“Is this some kind of theater? Where’s the stage?” Viola asked, noticing the diverse group of people that were sitting patiently in the chairs.

“And if this is some kind of play or movie, I can’t attend it. I have some detective work to get back to. Trust me I love movies, but I’m quite busy today.” TV grumbled.

“And we seem to be in the presence of cosmic beings…” Charlie whispered, looking at Death, Cosmic Owl, and Hunson Abadeer with interest.

“Why were we teleported here? What took us out of the Crystal Dimension?” Bob said with confusion.

“I don’t know, honey…” Ethel added to Bob’s confusion.

“Dad! What’s happening!?” Brownwyn ran up to Kim Kil Whan.

“Brownwyn, I have no idea what’s going on.” He placed his hand on Brownwyn’s shoulder.

“Dad seems to know what this is all about, so if I may ask, dad…why are we all here?” Kim Kil Whan questioned Jake.

“Ok, everyone. I know you are all confused, so let me explain…” Jake said to his bewildered extended family.

After a moment of explaining, Jake’s family members were interested by the explanation.

(Another world you say? An alternate reality?) Lady said with interest.

“Now that does sound intriguing. An alternate version of Ooo? I can definitely use this to gain more insight.” Charlie said, remembering the ritual she created to see in into the future so she can gain more information about herself.
“Oooh! A movie where I’m an actor in it? I must see it, dad!” Viola said with excitement.

“Alright, I’ll see this movie about me. I hope it doesn’t catch me being a bum mooching off my grandparents and all that.” TV muttered quietly.
“I hope the popcorn is good.” Jake Jr stated.

“Ok, we will watch this, dad. However, I’d like to try something…” Kim Kil Whan tried to teleport out of the Time Room, but discovered with shock that his powers didn’t work.
“Just as I feared.” He commented with interest.

“No wonder why I couldn’t use my Huntress Vision. Something is disabling our magic…I hope whatever transported us here doesn’t have malicious intentions…” HW thought with concern while quietly observing Jake’s extended family.
“I may not be able to use magic, but I still got my fists.” Canyon thought.

“So we really can’t leave, dad?” Brownwyn asked.

“No dear, looks like we just need to get through this. Do not fret, it’s just a movie about an alternate Ooo. I am confident it won’t affect us.” Kim Kil Whan said.
“I do hope so, Kim Kil Whan.” Finn thought.

“Hehe, yeah, son and Bronwyn. Don’t worry, nothing bad will happen.” Jake said reassuringly to his son.

“We are in too. We might learn more about the rainicorn and dog war to see what different events could have happened.” Bob said.

“I agree and I’m curious to see if humans will still be around and didn’t die off.” Ethel agreed with her husband.

Jake’s family made their way towards the chairs to get settled in. Prismo came over to Jake and whispered in his ear.

“You have a beautiful family.”

“Aww shucks, thanks, Prismo.” He whispered back.

“Get ready, because more folks are coming in…”

He said as the portal once again started to glow bright…

The fascinating thing I learned about Reaction fics is that what makes it awesome isn’t just the characters reacting to a universe or different story, but they are put in the same room, and they get to interact when they never spoke to each other in the story/show.

Chapter Text

Finn, Jake, and Prismo braced themselves for more people arriving at the Time Room.

A second portal appeared on the ceiling and with it, four non-human beings dropped from it yelling in fear and before they hit the floor, Prismo instantly summoned a large hot tub filled with fresh water and the four beings splashed in the water and quickly surfaced.

The three were revealed to be the water nymphs that used to live in the large pond near the Tree Fort: Denise, the water nymph that had long hair and was wearing a pink bikini, and the other two nymphs, where one had short hair and was wearing a blue bikini, the other had a ponytail and wore a straw-colored bikini with white stripes.

The fourth being to come with the water nymphs was a yellow dog, none other than Jake’s brother, Jermaine.

“Ok, who just summoned an instant hot tub?” Jake Jr said incredulously.

“We can certainly use a hot tub in our home, huh, Bob?” Ethel said to Bob with a smirk.

“Yeah, that will be great honey!”

“Alright, who gave us the flying lessons because I did not consent to that.” Denise whined.

“Hey, Denise, where are we?” The short haired nymph asked.

“Are we at some kind of show?” The other nymph who had a ponytail wondered.

“Huh? What’s my family doing here? Jake!” Jermaine climbed out of the hot tub and dried himself off by shaking his body like a wet dog trying to get dry.

“Water ladies and my bro, I can explain this.” Jake held his hands up. Jake explained what was happening to his fellow dog brother and the three water nymphs.

“Sounds fun. The whole watching a movie about us in another world sounds totes rad.” Denise said with a smile.

“Yeah, and we are glad that someone provided us a hot tub.” The short haired nymph said.

“I know, this water is quite high quality.” The ponytail nymph said, relaxing in the water.

“And Party God is here; oh I hope we have one big party after all this.” Denise said, noticing Party God floating near the ceiling.

“Awooo, I am counting on it.” He howled with excitement.

“Well, ok. Besides, the whole fam is here anyway.” Jermaine agreed, glancing at his rainicorn grandparents and Jake’s half-dog, half-rainicorn children.

“Yeah, Uncle Jermaine! It's like a show where we are the stars, come join us.” Viola said with delight.

Jermaine winced, remembering that he didn’t attend the theater that was hosting the Summer Showers show where Viola was the leading lady. Hopefully, this will be his chance to prove himself to his niece that her career of wanting to be an actress was important.

“Hello, grandson!” Bob and Ethel greeted Jermaine warmly.

“Hey, Uncle Jermaine!” The rest of Jake’s kids gave Jermaine a hearty hello.

“Alright, guys, I’m coming in!” Jermaine said happily and took his seat close to his nieces and nephews.

The portal on the floor glowed again and summoned five individuals: Sweet P, Tree Trunks, Mr. Pig, Shelby, and Mr. Fox.

“Well, now this is unexpected.” Tree Trunk said, looking at the diverse group of folks sitting on the chairs.

“What is this place?” Mr. Pig said, looking around the strange room. Sweet P stood close to his adoptive parents, looking confused.

“Is this a movie?” Sweet P added to their confusion. Shelby was perched on Sweet P’s shoulder.

“Mmmm, seems like it. It’s a strange looking movie theater, though.” Shelby commented, being cautious not to fall off Sweet P’s shoulder.

“Oh, hello, little buddy!” Sweet P greeted the earthworm Shelby with a bright smile.

“Hey, big fella.” Shelby replied back.

“Is this some kind of show or movie, is it free? Do I have to pay? Where are the munchies?” Mr. Fox asked.

The two Heroes of Ooo explained everything to the new group that just arrived.

“A free movie with free high-quality popcorn, drinks, and snacks? I’m in.” Mr. Fox took his seat.

“Oh, a movie where we are in it? How exciting!” Tree Trunks said with joy.

“Come on Mr. Pig and Sweet P, let’s take our seats!”

“Coming dear. I do wonder what will happen in this alternate Ooo.” Mr. Pig said.

“A movie day sounds sweet!” Sweet P clapped with joy and both him, and Mr. Pig followed the excited Tree Trunks.

“An alternate Ooo? Alright, let’s see what I can get from this.” Shelby said. He was interested to see if his brother existed in this alternate world of Ooo and he didn’t mind watching an exciting movie about it.

“Can you put me down please?” Shelby asked Sweet P politely and he grabbed the earthworm and placed it on the ground. Shelby slithered towards Finn, climbed up his leg, and positioned himself on Finn’s shoulder.

“Great to see ya, Shelby.” Finn said to the earthworm.

“Right back at ya.”

Jake walked over to Prismo and whispered in his ears.

“Hey, Old Man P, is there a better way to do this? It’s kind of getting annoying to repeat the same thing over and over again when folks come dropping in here.”

“You're right. You and Finn go mingle with the crowd; I’ll take care of this for now.” Prismo said.

The heroic yellow dog nodded.

“Come on bro, let’s go hang out with our peeps as the theater fills up.” Jake said to Finn.

“Cool.”

Finn went to go hang out with some folks of the crowd while Jake sat close to his family to chat with his in-laws…

While the denizens of Ooo were filling up the theater, Finn was having an interesting conversation with Huntress Wizard, Canyon, and the three water nymphs.

“It’s strange that all of you are related in some way.” Finn said with fascination.

“It is true to an extent. I am a Water Elemental, and Denise and her fellow Water Nymphs are like my cousins. The Cloud people also have ties to us.” Canyon explained.

“I am far removed from all of them as I am a forest nymph where Denise and her friends are water nymphs.” HW said to Finn.

“I never would have guessed you were a nymph, HW.”

“Big difference is that we water nymphs love hanging out in pools and having a good time, where Huntress Wizard is more of a rough and tough nymph that loves hunting and exploring the woods. We are both nymphs yes, but we are very different. She is a rugged tomboy that loves the woods where we are water vixens that love having a good time in the ponds or lakes.” Denise said while relaxing in the bubbling hot tub.

Finn noticed more people coming into the Time Room at the corner of his eye as he chatted with the ladies.

He saw Prismo explaining what was going on to a lot of princesses from Ooo and other folks that have come with them: Wildberry Princess, Hot Dog Princess, Muscle Princess, Jungle Princess, Doctor Princess (even though she’s just a doctor and not really a princess), Crab Princess, Breakfast Princess and her two sisters, Toast Princess and Strudel Princess, Engagement Ring Princess, Slime Princess and her sister Blargetha, Turtle Princess, Raggedy Princess, Lumpy Space Princess (now called Lumpy Space Queen) and her lumpy mom and dad, Lizard Princess, Frozen Yogurt Princess, Breezy, Elbow Princess, Emerald Princess, Grid Face Princess, Mini Queen, Peanut Princess, Princess Cookie, Purple Princess, Skeleton Princess, Space Angel Princess, Princess Princess Princess, Bounce House Princess, Embryo Princess, and Bee Princess.

Finn winced as he remembered all the escapades he got up to when he was feeling down in and the dumps and Breezy helped him kiss many princesses to feel something. He was so glad that he was over that phase. However, It did feel awkward that some princesses that he made out with were here and HW was nearby…

It didn’t help the fact that Frozen Yogurt Princess looked like an amalgamation of Bonnie and Phoebe, which further cemented the fact that he wasn’t over the crush he had on the candy princess and fire princess.

Although, he was a bit annoyed that this Big Boss didn’t summon Bonnie, Marcy, Phoebe, and his mom yet. Bonnie was a princess of Ooo too and Marcy was the vampire queen and were both Ooo royalty. He wondered why it was taking so long for them to join the growing crowd.

The others that arrived with them that weren’t Ooo princesses were Banana Man, Susan Strong, Frieda, the Duke of Nuts, his wife Dutchess of Nuts, and his son, Marquis of Nuts, Phlannel Boxingday, King Man, and a few Bikini Babes.

After Prismo explained what was happening, the horde of non-human folks went to sit down. However, Susan, Frieda, and LSP didn’t sit down and started to go towards Finn.

With more people coming in, the Time Room was starting to grow louder with chatter, with some folks either talking with each other or eating and drinking popcorn, soda, and other snacks that is secretly provided by Prismo.

Frozen Yogurt Princess noticed Finn was there and gave him a flirty wink and blew him a kiss at the young human man. She even went a step further and sensually licked her lips, making Finn blush and shift awkwardly.

He noticed that ever since he turned 18, a few females in the land of Ooo became a little flirtier towards him. However, he had no interest in them, as he still wanted to focus on being a heroic adventurer, and he was interested to see what will grow between him and HW. However, he did feel a strange sensation go through his body when an attractive girl was flirting with him.

When he turned 18, Jake finally told him what Tier 15 was. The act between a male and female to bring more life into the world, something that he did with Lady to bring his and her pups into the world:

Sex.

He was given even more information on the birds and bees by his mother.

He was mortified when he first heard of it, and he recalled that moment when Jake and Bronwyn had a race through the ruined amusement park; he said something about the puppies coming from the Tunnel of Love, implying that’s the place he ‘did it’ with Lady and impregnated her.

He also remembered that weird video of Jake acting flirty to Lady Rainicorn when they were trying to get information out of the video about where the blood demon, Kee-Oth kidnapped Jake.

Finn was so glad he was naïve and innocent when it came to sex and thought just kissing was the most romantic thing you can do for a lady.

The drama that would have unfolded if he attempted to do Tier 15 while he getting up to escapades with different princesses with Breezy would have been catastrophic…

The last time he let his lust and curiosity get to him, it ended with his romantic relationship with Phoebe being burnt to the ground and Ice King’s home being destroyed.

Huntress Wizard who was quietly watching the gesture raised an eyebrow out of curiosity and gazed at Finn with interest, even giving him a mischievous smirk and a soft chuckle, making the human man sink into his seat with embarrassment.

Breezy was giving Finn a friendly wave and a smile, some of the Bikini Babes that Finn kissed before meeting Frozen Yogurt Princess also waved at him. However, most of them went over to BMO to chat with the little robot.

“Whoa, ain’t those the chicks you made out with, Finn?” Shelby, who was still on his shoulder, chuckled.

“Hey guys, how are you doing?” Finn said to the three ladies, trying to take his mind off and ignore the flirty Frozen Yogurt Princess and HW and Shelby teasing him.

“We’re fine Finn, we were just adventuring just like you do.” Susan said with a grin. The large Amazonian woman gave Finn a tight hug and he gladly returned back.

“Yeah, and this place is crazy.” Frieda said.

“Like, of my gosh, this movie is gonna be so off the hook if everyone is gathering in this weird room. I kind of want to see a big party happen after this. I missed my chance to be in a show because of a certain someone…” LSP said with a frown.

Viola heard this and sighed. She knew what she did was wrong by teleporting LSP away so she can be the lead actress instead of her, but thankfully, creating the special effects is what made LSP forgive her.

“LSQ, I-“

“Don’t apologize Viola, its my fault for not realizing your talents were excellent in doing the special effects for the rain! It looked so good!” LSP beamed with pride.

“Thank you, LSQ.” Viola gave her a faint smile. She was still annoyed that LSP seemed to only love the special effects and wasn’t impressed with her superb acting.

“I really should have been at that Summer Showers show…” Jermaine thought sadly.

Kim Kil Whan shared the same thought as his Uncle Jermaine, realizing that he too was absent and did not attend his sister’s show.

“Oh, yeah. I do hope there is a party after this, LPQ.” Denise agreed.

“Awooo!” Party God howled with excitement.

“I know you will be great in it, daughter.” LSP’s dad said.

“Yes, I just know you will be a great actor in it!” LSP’s mom said with joy. LSP chuckled.

“Oh, I know I will, parents!”

Finn was quite glad that Prismo was the one doing the explanation because now he was starting to feel the effects of random unique individuals being placed in one room, where some of them never spoke to each other.

Mini Queen, a ladybug-like creature that was an Ooo royal that ruled Littleland, flew towards Finn and landed on his shoulder, nuzzling his neck with a smile on her face. This made Finn smile and used his finger to gently pet her head.

Finn was feeling a bit better, but his embarrassment once again spiked thanks to a certain lumpy floating princess who turned into a queen.

“I do hope I get to make out with cute boys like I did with Finn in this movie.” LSP said.
“What, daughter? You made out with the smooth human, Finn?” LSP’s father questioned her with shock.
“Oh, yeah, Finn was making out with random princesses, and I took him to the deep end when it was my time.” LSP said with pride.
Susan Strong and Frieda looked at Finn with shock.
“Oh, my…” Frieda muttered.
“But I thought you were dating Lemongrab, what happened?” Space Angel Princess asked.

“Yeah, didn’t you like both kiss because you guys thought Glob was going to kill you?” Turtle Princess added.

“It went like nowhere after a week or so. I could not handle his lips being so sour, ugh!” LSP grimaced.

Finn stood firm against the crowd and explained himself.

“That only happened before LSQ got with Lemongrab, I did not kiss her while she was with Lemongrab.” Finn answered.

“I will say Finn is indeed a great kisser.” Crab Princess spoke out loud.

“Yeah, he is.” Muscle Princess said.

“He was really getting around.” Lizard Princess added.

“A shame I couldn’t get a kiss because of that cursed Business Man.” Hot Dog Princess complained, remembering how she was about to kiss Finn, but one of the Businessmen got in her way and she kissed him instead of the heroic human hero.

“He really is a good kisser? I regret puking before kissing him…why did I let that lie of Finn peeing in the bed stop me? Dang it, Jake…” Slime Princess thought with annoyance.

“I’m quite curious how soft the lips of a human are…” Blargetha, Slime Princess’s sister said with interest.

“Couldn’t kiss Finn at the time because I was busy doing work and I say he has gotten even more handsome overtime.” Breakfast Princess said, batting her eyes at the young human man.

“It would have been nice to kiss a Hero of Ooo.” Toast Princess giggled.

“Hehe, I would like to kiss him on he cheek.” Strudel Princess agreed with her sister.

“Stop it, you both are too young to kiss boys.” Breakfast Princess said sternly to her sisters.

“Aww, sis!”

“Come on!”

Both Toast Princess and Strudel Princess whined.

“He didn’t get to bounce inside of me…” Bounce House Princess thought sadly.

“How romantic of Finn sharing love with everyone.” Tree Trunks gushed with joy.

“Would I date Billy if he had a history of dating a new girl every month?” Canyon pondered.

“I was busy doing jungle business, but hearing the other princesses say that he’s good…” Jungle Princess looked at Finn with interest. The other princesses who didn’t talk started to murmur quietly to each other about Finn’s escapades with other princesses.

“It’s because Finn-“

Doctor Princess was about to speak, but quickly caught herself and held her tongue. She knew Finn was going through issues after losing his arm, and he did try to ask her out on a date. However, she made the oath to NEVER date a patient that she treated. She was just glad that Finn healed both physically and mentally from losing a limb, so she kept quiet and observed the conversation between the princesses and others.

It would have been very unprofessional of her to blab about his mental health to others.

“What was that, Doctor Princess?” Skeleton Princess asked.

“Yeah, what about Finn?” Emerald Princess looked at her with interest.

“Nothing, you all can carry on.” She replied calmly.

Most of the Ooo princesses stayed away from Finn because he was in love with PB and respected it, and the fact that he was underage at the time. They especially stayed away when Finn was dating Flame Princess and didn’t want to incur her wrath.
It was also because Finn wasn’t a royal king or prince, some princesses remembered that they went bonkers trying to get with Nice King all because a handsome prince or king was a rarity as Ooo royalty was majority female.

However, now as an adult and Finn being a legendary Hero of Ooo, the winds started to change…

“Hmmm, I wonder if a girl will ever be sweet to me and love me.” Sweet P thought with fascination and excitement.

Mr. Fox whistled.

“Dang, he is lucky to kiss that many noble ladies.” The talking fox muttered.

“I’m a thankful that my darling didn’t jump from girlfriend to girlfriend before finding me.” Lady Rainicorn smiled at the thought that she was Jake’s first and only.

“Hmm, did Finn kiss my daughter?” Hunson Abadeer thought while eating some popcorn.

Huntress Wizard who was observing the chatter playfully punched Finn in his arm.

“We should have called you Finn the go around instead of Finn the human.” She said with a lighthearted chuckle.

“No, no, Finn the drifter sounds cooler and more mysterious.” Shelby chuckled with HW.

“Oh, oh! That sounds great little worm guy!” Engagement Ring Princess said with joy, agreeing with Shelby.

Raggedy Princess shook her head in disagreement.

“I don’t know about that. It gives Finn that bad boy look, and we all know that Finn isn’t a thuggish bad boy.”

Breezy noticed the teasing and felt some guilt over what she did. Her helping Finn by becoming his ‘wingman’ to kiss princesses was mostly done just because she was interested in the flower growing in his stump, but found herself developing a crush on Finn and wanted him to be her lover and personal champion after she transformed into a royal Queen Bee. The crush went nowhere because Finn rejected her, and she accepted it with no issues.

After the movie, Breezy will apologize to Finn for using him for her own ends.

Kim Kil Whan turned to his daughter, Bronwyn.

“Promise me that you will never date a boy with a history of jumping from girl to girl, right Brownwyn?” He pleaded.

“Y-Yeah, I won’t dad.” Bronwyn responded with a blush on her cheeks.

“Man, I’m like a prince, how does he get so much play with the girls?” Marquis of Nuts muttered under his breath. Marquis eyed his dad and mother who were busy chomping down on pudding that mysteriously teleported in their hands when they arrived.

“Mmmm, this pudding is delicious!” The Duke of Nuts beamed with happiness.

“I got to say, this pudding is indeed good.” Dutchess of Nuts said, agreeing with her husband.

“I need to bulk up in hopes of making a princess my lady.” Marquis thought.

Finn wished he was a wizard because he really wanted to turn invisible right now as the embarrassment started to weigh heavily over his shoulder and forced him to sink into the chair. It felt like that time Jake took over his body and forced him to dance half naked in front of Phoebe and her family.

His face flushed red, just like when Sir Slicer kept insulting him for not having armor and humiliating events kept happening to him when he was trying to get that special armor, like that giant yeti-like female that thought he was a baby and wanted to nurse him.

Jake kept constantly glancing at Finn who was being teased by HW and a few others. The teasing wasn’t too bad, but Jake just wanted to make sure no one was acting too mean spirited towards his human brother.

He was about to jump up and say something to move the subject away from Finn’s escapades with princesses, but Jake himself was dealing with some folks that wanted to chat with him.

“How’s it going, Jake? Are you still trying to find a house?” Banana Man asked Jake.

“No, I actually live with my bro, Finn, BMO, and NEPTR in a two-story log cabin that we built. It’s no Tree Fort, but it will do.” Jake replied.

NEPTR spoke up in support of Jake.

“Yeah, we still live together. I can’t imagine living somewhere else without my best friends, I love them.”

“Cool that’s sweet, but I do hope we can find another truck.” Banana Man said fondly, remembering how great it was riding around Ooo in it and defeating the shapeshifting lizard that looked like PB with it.

“We’re thinking of getting a camper van so who can travel.” Jake said.

“Oh, that’s nice. If ya guys want, I’ll help you fix it up, or add any awesome designs to it.” Banana Man said.

“Alright, man.”

“Sorry you guys lost your home; I sent crates filled with delicious pancakes, eggs, and bacon to your cabin for being great Heroes of Ooo for doing your part in fighting Glob, and to make up for you guys losing that wonderful tree house.” Breakfast Princess said with a smile.

“I sent a crate filled with gold to your home too if you both are having money troubles, hehe.” Wildberry Princess said with a giggle.

The other Ooo princesses murmured their disappointment in the Tree Fort being destroyed.

“Aww shucks, thanks, Breakfast Princess and Wildberry Princess!”

“You have our condolences for your old home. You and Finn can always stay at my kingdom.” Slime Princess said, offering Jake a home.

Slime Princess’s sister, Blargetha, decided to chime in.

“Yeah, and don’t forget, who throw fun parties and dances down there. Don’t miss out, Jake.”

“Uhh, I appreciate the offer, but no thank you, Slime Princess. We’re fine.” Jake struggled not to gag because while Slime Princess was nice, he just didn’t want to live in an underground slime covered cavern.

“Perhaps you want a home off planet? I’ll provide a house for you two on Mars to make up for all the bad things I did to you and Finn like turning the human into a foot. Are you interested?” King Man, who used to be the dreaded Magic Man offered the heroic yellow dog.

“Nah, we’re good, dude and thanks. Me and my brother in a log cabin is all I ask for. We don’t need some fancy house off the planet, and I also got Lady’s home to stay at.” Jake said with Lady Rainicorn giving him a flirty wink.

“I just wish I could have done more to help, you know?” Princess Cookie said to Jake. He owes him for helping him out by making him the princess of the Grasslands. He has power now and yet; he couldn’t do anything to assist his magical dog friend against the Glob minion that destroyed the Tree Fort.

“Oh, don’t feel bad, Princess Cookie. Yeah, the Tree Fort was a wonderful home, but its ok, I got a home and I ain’t sleeping on cold hard dirt in the woods.” Jake patted Princess Cookie’s shoulder.

“Princess Cookie is correct that more should have been done. Maybe I can provide a security system for your new home. Do you want it?” Gridface Princess offered.

“No thanks, Gridface Princess. We don’t need the security against danger, we ARE the danger, haha” Jake boasted with pride, causing Princess Cookie and Gridface Princess to laugh.

While the crowd chatted, Simon was silent and looked on with sadness, shame, and regret when the various Ooo princesses took their seats. He didn’t remember much when he was Ice King, but after turning into a normal human again, Finn, Jake, and Marceline told him about the antics that Ice King got up to.

From kidnapping princesses all because his desire to find Betty was corrupted into taking royal females’ hostages into his ice lair, breaking Finn and Jake’s family heirloom Blood Demon Sword and releasing a blood demon that kidnapped Jake, almost dooming the world with an Internet virus just so he and PB can be the only ones alive in the world, accidently hiring a fire bending hitman to murder Finn and Jake, and other terrible acts.

He knew that it wasn’t his fault, but Simon still felt terrible about it.

“Hey, handsome…”

Simon heard a feminine voice, and it was a Bikini Babe that had long wavy black hair, green skin, and wore a blue bikini that sat next to him.

“You look lonely and sad, maybe I can fix that.” The Bikini Babe said with a sunny bright smile.

Simon looked at the bikini-clad humanoid, and forced himself to smile back.

“Hmm, only time will tell.” He replied.

“I know, he does look down in the dumps.” A humanoid said, agreeing with the Bikini Babe.

“My name is, Phlannel Boxingday the monster hunter who rides a cloud trawler, how do you do?”

“Hello, my name is Simon Petrikov.” The two shook hands.

“You look like you have a lot on your mind, Simon. You have that look of a man that was imprisoned for years, but you are finally free to do whatever you want.” Phlannel said.

“Oh, I’m that obvious huh?”

Phlannel chuckled.

“Well, it’s because I met someone similar to you that was indecisive and did not know what to do. I do wonder if he’ll show up here…”

“He just needs to party and have some fun.” The Bikini Babe grinned.

“Is that all you Bikini Babes do?” Peanut Princess who was eavesdropping on the conversation asked incredulously.

“Yep, freedom to do anything, right?” The Bikini Babe said.

“Mmmm…she has a point.” Phlannel nodded.

“Whatever.” Peanut Princess sighed.

As they spoke, the portal glowed again and summoned more people.

This time it was Grand Master Wizard, Abracadaniel, Life Giving Magus (LGM), Choose Goose, Ron James, Little Dude, Beau, Leaf Man, Lemonhope, and Carroll.

“Speak of the GOLB.” Phlannel said, quickly noticing Lemonhope that was part of the new arrivals.

“What is the meaning of this? I-my magic!” Grand Master Wizard cried out in shock, realizing that he could not cast any spells.

“Do not tell me this is the work of Bella Noche!”

“Settle down, sir. Nothing bad is about to happen.” Prismo said, getting ready to explain what was going on in the Time Room.

Embryo Princess looked on in awe.

“Wow, so many people just keep coming.” She said.

“I know, and we seem to not be done yet.” Princess Princess Princess stated.

After Prismo explained everything to the new group, they took their seats in the theater.

“I don’t mind a free movie and free snacks, but I am still bothered by the fact that this room is cutting off my magic.” Grand Master Wizard said with concern.

“This movie must be really good if all folks from royalty are going to watch it.” Abracadaniel said with interest.

“A movie that shows me in an alternate Ooo? Don’t mind if I do!” Choose Goose said.

“Hey girls!” Carroll walked over to Denise and her fellow water nymph friends. She used to be a cloud person, but was turned into an ice elemental by Patience St. Pim, but after LSP restored Ooo back to normal, she took the form of a water nymph instead of going back to being a cloud person.

“What’s up girl!” Denise greeted her as Carroll joined them in the hot tub.

Lemonhope gave a friendly wave to Phlannel Boxingday and sat next to him.

“How’s life treating you?” Phlannel asked.

“Oh, just drifting and doing whatever I want.” Lemonhope replied with a smile.

“I’m glad to hear that you are doing fine adventuring and chasing your own destiny.” Phlannel Boxingday beamed with joy.

“Hey, what happened to your pretty sparkling eyes? They look so dull.” Denise said, noticing that Ron James no longer had those pretty eyes that delighted the water nymphs.

“I…uhh…” Ron James stammered nervously, realizing he did not have that special twinkle eye potion to make himself look more attractive that he used in the past to entice Denise and her friends to join them on their road trip to Big Butt Rock.

“I got soap in my eyes, so my sparkling eyes are temporarily gone.” Ron James attempted to lie.

Denise and her fellow water nymphs looked at him with suspicion.

“Ok, I hope you get better.” Denise finally said.

The portal glowed again, and the theater participants braced themselves for more people to come.

Finn watched the portal, and his embarrassment turned to unbridled joy when he started to see the silhouettes of a certain vampire and candy princess appear through the portal…

Chapter Text

Finn looked on with excitement as the familiar figures appeared in the Time Room. He quickly stood up from his seat and walked over to the new large group that teleported into the Time Room.

Before him was Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Flame Princess Phoebe (now called Flame Queen) and a Minerva bot. The group standing near them was Peppermint Butler, Starchy, Cinnamon Bun, Mr. Cupcake, Lemongrab, Flambo, Aunt Lolly, Flame King, and Flame Princess’s brother, Flint.

Finn walked over to the group when Prismo was done telling them what was happening.

“Are you all excited for the movie?” The young human man smiled at PB and Marcy. Finn had to play along because he knew in his heart that this wasn’t going to be some movie like he used to watch with Jake, PB, and Marcy back at the Treefort.

This was going to be a look into a world that is a little different from the Farmworld verse, but one where he and Jake were not allowed to interfere; they just had to sit and witness the events. All his faith had to be placed in this alternate world Finn Mertens called Terra Finn and hoped he could fight and destroy the Lich variant.

He needed to act like this was going to be a fun experience, and didn’t want to walk around with the weight of dread pressing down on his shoulders.

“I’m interested to find out more about this alternate Ooo, although, I’m a bit worried about my kingdom because no one is watching it.” PB replied.

Aunt Lolly, Lemongrab, Pep-But and Starchy who were standing nearby PB, voiced their interest.

“Me too, though, I wonder if it’s going to be about the Candy Kingdom.”

“Mmmm, I find this movie outing, acceptable!” Lemongrab shouted.

“Yay, a movie!” Pep-But said who was still in child form thanks to the Dum-Dum Juice. However, Pep-But’s adult mind was still alive and well, he just could not talk or move, and unfortunately could only watch and see as the child form is dominant and the one in control.

“I have no time to watch a dang movie; I need to change back!” Adult Pep-But spat angrily. He couldn’t do anything to reveal himself, and all he could was quietly seethe with no one being able to see and hear the true him.

Both Hunson Abadeer and Death looked at Pep-But with confusion.

“Huh, what happened to him? Why does he look like a kid?” Hunson asked Death.

“Don’t know.” He replied.

“Oh yeah, Starchy is going to find himself a nice comfy seat to enjoy this here movie.”  

“I’m totally down to see a good movie with lots of action. I hope it’s good given the fact there are so many dudes and dudettes here.” Marcy looked at the large crowd, and quickly took notice of Hunson Abadeer waving happily at her while munching on popcorn.

She awkwardly waved back, but she was quickly filled with joy when she noticed Simon walking up to her, realizing that this was going to be her first movie experience with her beloved adopted father.

“Simon!”

“Marceline, you made it!”

Simon and Marcy gave each other a hug.

“Don’t worry, Mr. P over here said that time isn’t passing back in Ooo. Besides, it will just be a fun movie, just like we used to watch together in the Tree Fort and all that, like the time we tried to make our own movie.” Finn reassured PB.

PB bit her lip, but she finally nodded and agreed.

“I do miss the good old times that we used to watch movies together in the Treefort. Alright, Finn, let’s see how amazing this movie is if everyone is gathering to watch it. Plus, I could use a break from being cooped up in my lab all day.” PB said.

Marcy grinned and looped her arm around PB’s neck.

“That a girl, you really need to know how to relax. Come on, let’s find some seats and snacks!”

The Vampire Queen and Candy Princess walked away from Finn and went to the snack table that Prismo summoned while Aunt Lolly and Lemongrab went to sit down.

“My son, what’s the meaning of all this?” Minerva asked Finn.

Finn was about to talk, but paused and quickly noticed that this Minerva bot looked a bit different. Unlike the others, there was a TV screen attached to the Minerva bot’s chest which showed the true Minerva.

“Oh, your bot looks different, mom.” Finn said with interest.

“Whatever or whoever sent us here has done some bizarre modifications to this bot, Finn. It’s a welcome surprise actually, because I can see and hear better through this particular bot.” Minerva said to her son.

“So, what’s this all about?”

“Oh, mom, its about a cool movie about Ooo. It’s very important and I would love to watch it with you because we never really got the chance to watch a movie together, and you know? Hang out with me for fun.” Finn started off sounding happy, but his tone became somber when he realized that he never did fun casual stuff with his mom.

Even when the humans from Founder’s Island moved to Ooo to build a new human settlement, Finn mostly spent his time hanging out with Jake and hanging out with others.

Minerva smiled and placed her hand on his shoulder.

“Of course I’d love to watch this movie with you, my baby boy. This will be our first time watching a movie together.”

Finn hugged her.

“Thank you.” He said softly.

“I hope you and dad in this alternative world are happily married just like Farmworld Finn had a loving mom and dad…” Finn thought as his mom went to go sit down.

“Finn!”

The young man heard a familiar voice and looked over to see Flame Queen Phoebe skip over to him, along with her brother Flint that walked over with a frown on his face, not looking so happy to see the young human man. CB also walked over with a goofy smile on his face with Flambo on his shoulder.  

Finn winced, remembering that he did not make a good first impression on Phoebe’s brother when Jake forced him to strip almost naked and sing and dance; he probably has an even lower opinion of him now after manipulating his sister to fight Ice King over a dream.

If Flint disliked him, Finn would just have to accept it and bear it because of the consequence of his actions.

He was at least glad that Phoebe forgave him and was now her best friend.

Phoebe’s father, Flame King, was here too, but Phoebe refused to acknowledge his presence and was obviously ignoring him.

“Hello, Phoebe, how are you?”

“I’m fine, Finn!”

The Flame Queen and the human hero of Ooo proceeded to perform a secret handshake. It involved slapping their hand together, fist bumping each other, touching elbows.

CB clapped happily while chuckling, Flint looked a bit confused, Flambo was laughing, and Huntress Wizard looked on with interest.

“So he and the Flame Queen have a secret best friend handshake? That’s cute.” Huntress Wizard thought.

They finally finished their special handshake by taking one finger, touching each other’s finger, and then making a sizzling noise.

“Boy, this must be a big deal if all the royals are here. It’s like Princess Day.” Phoebe said, noticing the large assortment of princesses.

“Yeah, its going to be one totally mathematical movie day! Thank you for joining us because this is going to be our first time watching a movie together.”

Phoebe’s eyes lit up with excitement.

“Oh, you’re right, Finn! And I can certainly use a little break from my royal duties. Come on guys, let’s go sit and enjoy the movie!” Phoebe motioned the rest of her group to come sit with her.

Flame King was already sitting down and Phoebe made sure to sit as far away from him as possible.

“I hope there is a lot of fights and fiery explosions.” Flame King muttered with joy, remembering how pretty the flames were burning, but was ruined by Don John confronting him.

The portal that was summoning people finally disappeared. This made Finn, Jake, and Prismo suddenly realize that the Big Boss that was collecting citizens of Ooo has finally came to an end and that witnessing the events of the other universe was about to begin.

“Oh, its finally starting!” Tree Trunks said with excitement.

“It better be good.” LSQ spoke up.

While everyone was excited and waited in anticipation for the ‘movie’ to begin, Finn, Jake, and Prismo were the only ones that felt nervous. This wasn’t a normal movie outing for them. They are about to witness Farmworld 2.0 where they could not intervene and that the alternate versions of themselves had to destroy the Lich variant without their assistance.

Jake was still bummed out that he and Finn were too late to save Farmworld Marceline and she died failing to do her one job that the alternate Simon entrusted her to do.

The lights were starting to dim in the Time Room, much like a movie theater that was about to play, and the large chatter of the crowd started to drastically died down, now becoming hushed whispers.

“Finn, over here.”

Finn heard a familiar voice and looked over to see that PB reserved a spot for him next to her and patted the seat. He smiled and walked over and sat next to the Candy Princess.

Jake was to his left, PB was to his right, next to PB was Marcy, next to Marcy was Simon, Minerva was behind Finn, Huntress Wizard was on Minerva’s right, Phoebe was on Minerva’s left, next to Jake was Lady Rainicorn, behind Jake was Jermaine, and behind Jermaine was Prismo.

The screen in front of the crowd turned on and Finn, Jake, and Prismo braced themselves as letters started to appear on the screen.

In the vast multiverse, things can be different and unique. One man. One human is chosen to rescue an Ooo that has fallen to ruin. To show a land what indomitable human spirit is and to make Heroism rise again…

The ‘movie’ just started and Finn, Jake, and Prismo were already sweating bullets and trying to keep their composure.

“Chosen human hero? Is that the other me? Terra Finn?” Finn thought.

“Oh, this is bad. Is the Lich variant already mass murdering everyone?” Jake thought with dread while shifting anxiously.

PB and Canyon perked up.

“A human hero? Is it Finn or someone else?” Canyon whispered.

“The land of Ooo is already in ruins? That means…” PB paused.

“What’s become of my beloved kingdom? I wonder how I’m handling the situation.” She said quietly.

Chapter Text

Welcome everyone.

What you are about to see is based on true events. This is no ordinary movie, but a window into another reality where events in Ooo are different and it will be framed like a movie.

Do not be alarmed as this will not affect any of your status to what you are about to witness. You are simply watching a different scenario of how these events will change Ooo if circumstances weren’t the same as yours.

“Finn, is this why there is a massive gathering of many different people here? This isn’t just a normal movie outing, right?” PB questioned Finn.

“Yes, Jake and I were the first ones brought here, and we were told that this was supposed to be a movie about a different Ooo. There is no harm here princess, we are just here to watch and nothing bad is going to happen to us.” Finn replied.

“Yeah, Peebs, think of it as a watching a movie based on real events!” Jake chimed in.

PB looked unsure at first, but she trusted the two Heroes and nodded.

“Alright, boys.” She relented.

Enter Finn Mertens

The camera pans into a nice two-story house in the middle of the night that has a front lawn and backyard that are well-kept.

Finn Mertens walked into the kitchen of his suburban Californian home to take a Sprite drink, opening up the can and drinking some and placing it back down and burping.

He was dressed in a blue tanktop, wore dark blue shorts, and was bare-footed.

The young human man was 21-years old, stood at 6’4, and after drinking his Sprite, he went to the bathroom to do his business. After going to the bathroom, Finn flexed in the mirror, appreciating the fact that he was well-built and athletic.

He wasn’t built like a shitbrick house like a steroid abusing bodybuilder and was more on the lean and muscular, having more of the physique of military soldier in his prime with rock hard abs, pecs, biceps, and glutes. Every inch of him was hardy muscles built for war.

Finn at first wanted bodybuilder physique to look strong, but he learned from his MMA teacher that big muscles doesn’t equal excellent fighters. He understood this well because he had never seen a professional Navy SEAL, or a veteran MMA fighter who only did strength training.

Finn chuckled, recalling a YouTube video he watched not too long ago about two bodybuilders trying to pass the training course that Navy SEALs did, and they could not finish it.

His teacher made it a good point that when it came to fighting, your core muscles and legs were important. It didn’t matter how strong your right or left hook is, you would struggle in any fight if you had weak legs.

It was thanks to working out, taking his vitamins, and eating healthily.

On his muscular body were various tattoos: a skull tattoo on his right shoulder, a hissing snake tattoo that coiled around his right arm, on his left shoulder was a sword and shield tattoo, a tattoo of vines wrapping around his left arm, and finally, Finn had an anchor tattoo on his right chest.

Finn’s hair was cut in a military buzz cut and he had a faint five o’ clock shadow that gave him that rugged handsome look.

After flexing, Finn went to go have a quick smoke outside in his backyard of the house. It was nighttime and the moon was full.

“It’s him. It’s me…” Finn whispered in awe.

“Whoa, it looks like we are focusing on an older you, buddy.” Jake whispered to his human brother. When he was observing Farmworld Finn, he was a kid around Finn’s age, but to observe a Finn that’s all grown up felt so surreal to the two Heroes of Ooo.

The various watchers were giving the adult Finn their own mixed reactions.

“Like oh my Glob, adult Finn is a total hottie! I would love to go to the deep end with him!” LSQ exclaimed with excitement with hearts appearing in her eyes.

“Daughter, please calm down.” The Lumpy Space King facepalmed in embarrassment.

“I’ll say! He’s so handsome!” Slime Princess agreed.  

“What a hunk.” Breakfast Princess bit her lower lip.

“Oh, the things I would do to him if he was my personal champion…” Frozen Yogurt Princess sighed dreamily.

“T-That’s Finn…?” Breezy’s jaw dropped.

“Oh my gosh, that Finn is a beefcake!” BMO looked Terra Finn in shock.

“I’m impressed by your muscles, other Finn. I would love to arm wrestle you!” Mr. Cupcake said with excitement while flexing his bicep.

Huntress Wizard and Phoebe could not deny that the older Finn looked quite attractive, and both girls blushed, and it didn’t help that the water nymphs, bikini girls, and a few other princesses even whistled and catcalled at Terra Finn when he was flexing.

Tree Trunks was glad that she fell in love with Mr. Pig because if she was single and saw this, she would have been just as excited as LSQ.

“Impressive, now that is the build of a strong Hero.” Canyon said with interest.

“Eh…” PB dryly said, not looking that impressed with Terra Finn.

“I know Bonnie, it looks like he’s trying look like a tough beefy bad boy with the muscles and lots of tats.” Marcy said.

Both immortal women have ran into their fair share of folks that looked strong and muscular for centuries, but it didn’t mean anything. PB herself created Mr. Cupcake and while he may look buff and strong, he wasn’t really an effective warrior and was nowhere near Finn’s combat prowess.

With Marcy, muscles didn’t mean anything to her when she had her powerful vampiric abilities.

“My older self looks so cool and strong, and I hope he’s living his best life.” Finn thought with a smile.

He remembered when he was on the Dungeon Train, he was able to see an adult version of himself in the Future Crystal Ball, but unfortunately, he was an old man in it and he was forever trapped on the Dungeon Train, with his lust for fighting consuming his entire mind. This older Finn looked like he was well-adjusted, wasn’t driven to madness, and was athletic.

Although…

Finn felt a tiny bit of jealously over the fact that Terra Finn looked like a buff and strong adult man, but he still looked somewhat like a kid. He was happy that his abs and toned legs were coming in, but it wasn’t on Terra Finn’s level, and he was nowhere near being 6’4.

“He does look handsome, but what’s with all the tattoos all over his body?” Raggedy Princess questioned.

“Finn getting all those tattoos is obviously compensating for something because he feels small in a certain area.” Marcy grinned, causing Finn, Jake, PB, and a few others in the crowd to chuckle.

“And he’s giving me strong vibes of a tall buff dude that looks strong, but gets easily beaten up by the main character.” Marcy added, making more people in the audience laugh.

“Good one, Marceline!” Hunson Abadeer chuckled.

“A great observation, Marcy. I wonder if he feels insecure about not looking strong and tough.” PB said, observing Terra Finn closely.

Simon nodded.

“Most likely. It wasn’t that farfetched that my fellow humans tried to make themselves look like they wanted to be taken seriously.” He answered.

“I certainly hope the other me is taking care of this Finn and he did not choose a path of becoming a bad boy.” Minerva said with worry, coloring her words.

“It feels so unfair that Terra Finn has developed his adult muscles and is taller than me, where I still look like a little kid and not a grown man.” Finn complained.

Jake patted his shoulder.

“That’s ok, Finn buddy. You just recently turned 18 and you are still growing. You just need to hit a growth spurt, that’s all. I bet you could easily take Terra Finn in a fight despite him looking stronger than you.”`

“You really think so, Jake?”

“I know so. That other Finn looks like he lives a cushy and soft life given the fact he appears to live in a normal human town.” Jake smiled.

“Yes, my son, you are still a growing boy. I am confident you’ll become as big as your counterpart once you hit that growth spurt in a few months or when you turn 19.” Minerva chimed in.

“Yeah, don’t whine little dude, you’ll become a big dude soon enough, just don’t over do it with the ink like Mr. Muscles n Tats on the screen. And I agree with Jake, with all the things you’ve been through, you can totally take this guy in a fight.” Marcy said to Finn, pointing her thumb at Terra Finn.

PB joined in.

“If my calculations are correct, you will gain muscle mass and more height really soon through a combination of adventuring and the growth spurt aiding in your body becoming more mature. It’s not so much as an if it’s more of a when, Finn.”

“Thanks everyone.” Finn smiled warmly, remembering the times that he was able to overpower an enemy that was indeed bigger than him. Who knows? Terra Finn could have been a paper tiger, a person that looked strong and intimidating, but actually wasn’t.

Still…

Finn hoped that Terra Finn was in fact strong and not a wimp as he needed his alternate dimensional adult self to defeat the Lich variant infesting his world because he wasn’t allowed to enter the Terra verse.

“Bonnie, we should totally get matching tats!” Marcy smiled.

“Sure, but later.” PB chuckled.

Finn went outside to smoke while his parents weren’t around, sitting down in a lawn chair. While smoking on a cigarette, he was talking to his pet dog, Jake, who was lying on the grass and resting, teasing him that he is so lazy and just wanted to sleep instead of walk.

“Lazy boy, you just want to eat and sleep all day.” Finn said, exhaling smoke from his mouth in the cool night air.

Jake stared at Finn and yawned as the human man patted him on the head while his tail wagged excitedly.

“Good boy.”

Jake frowned.

“Why am I always a normal dog in a different universe? This is just like Farmworld.” He thought with annoyance.

Jermaine, Jake’s kids, Lady Rainicorn, and Lady Rainicorn’s parents were taken aback by the fact that alternate Jake was just a normal dog and not a magical talking dog.

“What a minute, Jake is Finn’s pet in this alternate world of Ooo? What’s become of me? Am I a pet to Finn or some human too?” Jermaine asked out loud.

“Oh, so when humans used to rule the world, dogs were their pets?” Bob, Lady Rainicorn’s father asked with disbelief.

It was odd to them given the fact they valued dogs just like Jake, especially Bob because he owes his life to a dog that rescued him. The idea that dogs used to be pets to humans bothered the two adult rainicorns.

“Is anyone else bothered by the fact that dad is behaving like a domesticated animal that has no powers and is more or less a slave to muscle Finn buff Mertens?” TV said to his siblings. His siblings nodded in agreement as they all stared awkwardly at normal dog Jake like he shouldn’t exist.

Even Bronwyn was a bit disturbed at seeing her grandfather being reduced to a pet animal that does not talk and has no magic powers.

Lady Rainicorn can only gape in shock at seeing the state of her alternate husband.

Everyone was used to Finn and Jake being brothers, but the idea that Jake was reduced to being a lower lifeform that served Finn did not sit well with most of the audience, especially Jake’s kids and other associates that liked Jake.

“That Jake the Dog isn’t as cool as ours.” Party God said while some folks in the audience murmured in agreement.

“I agree with you there.” Prismo thought.

“Oh yeah, our Jake is better.” Marcy said.

“Ditto.” Banana Man spoke up.

“I-It’s insanity that Jake here is just a pet animal to Finn…” Slime Princess grimaced.

“Ugh, I bet he goes around sniffing other butts of dogs.” LSQ frowned.

“And he’s got no cool stretchy powers and probably drags his furry butt all over the rug.” Flambo chuckled.

“This is unfortunate…” Canyon didn’t like the fact that Jake was a normal dog because this tells her that this Jake isn’t going to become a great Hero.

Doctor Princess looked at Terra Finn with a slight frown, staring at the cancer stick in between his fingers.

“I don’t like the fact that he is smoking. Bad for the lungs and it will give him an unhealthy addiction.” She stated.

“Yes, I do hope you stay away from that, Finn.” PB said to the young human man.

“I agree. I know you do risky and dangerous things on adventures, my son, but please stay away from smoking because it will ruin your lungs. I have dealt with smokers in my office, and they did it because they were either depressed and wanted to feel good, or they were working class individuals that just could not beat the addiction of smoking.” Minerva said sternly to Finn.

Finn nodded to everyone telling him that he shouldn’t smoke.

“Don’t worry everyone, I won’t do that.” He said, making his friends and family sigh with relief.

“Good, because becoming addicted to smoking will land you an early grave, Finn…I’ve met quite a lot of smokers if you know what I mean…” Death said with a serious tone, making Finn’s spine shiver as if an icy hand touched his back.

“Y-Yeah, I got it.” He muttered nervously.

After some time had passed, Finn went inside to play Elden Bracelet, a Dark Souls-type game that came out recently. His parents hadn’t arrived yet from their date night, so he took the opportunity to smoke when they weren’t around because his mom didn’t like it.

After an hour of playing his game, Finn heard a knock on his door.

"Come in." Finn said, pausing the game and taking off his headset.

He was in the middle of fighting Demon Lord Zerek that wanted to have sex with his sister Demon Princess Xina, but the twist was that Xina mind controlled her brother into doing it, so she can merge with him into a Lovecraftian god-like entity that wanted to take over the world.

Finn was playing as Hero Jonathan who was chosen by the divine gods to slay the terrible Xina. He was actually trying to beat down Zerek to dispel the mind control because he was a victim.

Minerva and Martin walked into his room, carrying a new white hat and shirt.

"Surprise son!" Martin cheered.

"We got you a new hat." Minerva smiled warmly, handing it over to her son.

"Oh cool, thank you guys so much! I love you!" Finn hugged his parents and kissed them both on the cheek. Finn took off his white beanie that had animal ears and replaced it with the new hat.

The new white hat was basically a military beret, but instead of it usually being black or green, it was all white. It was to signify that Finn was about to become a soldier and that he had graduated from being a civilian.

Boot camp couldn't come soon enough because Finn wanted to be a Marine.

The new shirt was a light blue gym muscle shirt, basically a shirt that had no sleeves to show off Finn's muscular arms and it was comfy to wear.

After trying on his new hat, Finn began to speak to his mom.

“I know you are worried about me joining the military mom, but don’t worry too much. I just want to become a Marine for good old USA and get those army plus benefits just like dad when he used to be a Navy SEAL.”

Minerva smiled and nodded.

“I understand, son. I just hope no war happens soon and that you won’t be drafted.”

Martin wrapped his arms around his wife.

“Yeah, honey. Our Finny can handle anything and he’s tough like me. He’ll be a great soldier for America.”

Finn and Minerva were struck hard when they watched the scene. With Finn, it was a mixture of joy and sadness, but for Minerva, it was misery.

It reminded Finn that Farmworld Finn had a loving mom and dad that was there for him, and he was glad to see a universe where Martin and Minerva are happily married. Though he disliked his father, he just wished that Martin would return safely and see him and his mom again as he no longer had any hatred in his heart for the man.

Finn sighed deeply.

“I wonder where you are now…” He whispered. He felt Jake pat his shoulder while giving him a solemn look, even Shelby, PB, and Doctor Princess were giving Finn sad looks.

With Shelby, the little earthworm witnessed Finn lose his arm trying to chase his father into space. He even cried for him because the poor boy was in a state of total shock and confusion after losing his father, arm, and the Grass Sword.

With PB, she wasn’t there to see Finn lose his arm, but she quickly noticed how depressed he was after the incident. That depression turned into rage and hatred, and she had to stop Finn from using his ghost arm from ripping apart the land of Ooo to build a tower into space. She did it to not only stop a rampaging Finn from giving into vengeance, but to be there for her best friend that was losing himself.

With Doctor Princess, she knew that Finn wouldn’t be the same after losing his arm. She probably would have entertained the idea of dating him, but she didn’t because she was her patient, and she made it an important rule that she would NEVER date a patient. It might have sounded silly at first with Finn going around kissing many princesses, but Doctor Princess noted that it was just Finn trying to cope with his loss.

Marcy and Phoebe weren’t involved with the incident, but when they were told what happened, they felt sympathy for Finn.

Marcy is no stranger to loss and suffering from misery, so it made her a little upset with herself that she couldn’t do anything to help the young human when he was feeling miserable because she was wallowing in her own depression, self-pity, and the centuries has made her jaded and gave her a ‘shaky’ moral compass.

Finn has always been optimistic, altruistic, and did his part in uplifting her, but when Finn was feeling down, she should have been there for him.

She only began trying to raise his spirits when he was feeling depressed because his Finn Sword was damaged, but that was only because PB told her that she needed her help to cheer up Finn with music and it was a group effort. Why couldn’t she help him earlier during the Tower incident? In fact, why didn’t she try to cheer him up after he accidently killed Fern?

“I’m sorry for not being there for you when you needed a shoulder to cry on…” Marcy thought sadly.

Phoebe was busy doing royal duties at her kingdom, but her heart broke when she discovered what happened to him after losing his arm. It was no wonder why he was acting strange during the time Don John had her poisoned and mind controlled her subjects because Finn was going through some emotional issues and thought getting back together with her was going to fix it.

Phoebe didn’t really pay Finn’s issues any mind because she was more focused on saving her brainwashed citizens and defeating Don John. Heck, she didn’t care when Finn was trying to make idle chatter, like telling her about his new cursed sword and taking piano lessons.

Looking back now, she should have been a bit more considerate to Finn. Yeah, he was acting a bit strange trying to get back together with her, but she didn’t know that Finn was dealing with his own baggage at the time.

It was no wonder that after CB made his speech that he was going to be her personal champion after Don John’s defeat and her father being thrown in prison, Finn had a blank look on his face and just silently walked away.

It’s true that Phoebe wanted Finn to grow up and move on, and neither were ready for a romantic relationship, so Phoebe wanted to be just friends. She recalled that parts of the land were torn up in a perfect cube shape by her fire scouts and it was caused by Finn being consumed by rage and going after someone in space.

It honestly scared her hearing that Finn was that enraged that he was literally tearing apart Ooo to kill someone. This was the same person that treated her kindly when all she thought back then was to destroy because she is fire incarnate and that she will never amount to being anything else.

Its why when Finn delivered Bun, Bun to her, she decided just to hang out with him like friends. It wasn’t right to avoid him like a disease because Finn at the end of the day was still a good guy that just needed to grow up and become more mature and honest, and both the human hero and princess of fire made amends after Finn made a genuine apology to her and are now best friends.

“If Martin didn’t run away…that could have been us…” Minerva thought sadly. If she still had her flesh and blood human body, Minerva would have been crying. Everyone went the crap the day that Martin ran away with an infant Finn in his arms.

Dr. Gross probably wouldn’t have gone crazy with the experiments if she didn’t order her to do everything, she could find her son. The spreading disease that took out some of her fellow humans, her needing to upload her brain into a computer, and Kara suffering brain damage was indirectly her fault.

Huntress Wizard was late to the party, but she eventually discovered why parts of Ooo were missing. She thought it was some kind of monster attack or Ooo being strange again, but it was caused by Finn the Human. She wondered when he was given the ability to use telekinesis so strongly that it was affecting the whole land, but discovered with shock that it manifested because of his rage and willpower.

He no longer has it anymore, but it was a testament to Finn’s power, and it was for the best for Finn to lose it as having great magical power came at a terrible price. She wished she was there for him, just like she helped him overcome his guilt in accidently killing Fern by assisting him in hunting and slaying Grumbo. But unfortunately, she couldn’t be there for him at the time because she hadn’t become acquainted with him yet and was a stranger to him.

“So, he wants to be a soldier for his human kingdom called America?” Flint muttered as he watched.

“America? Wow…it’s been so many years. It’s a shame it fell just like all human nations during the Great Mushroom War….” Simon thought sadly. Simon didn’t even remember the name of the ruined city he was in while he was traveling through it. All he was focused on was getting the kid Marceline to safety and trying not to use too much of the ice crown’s power.

“That’s his human parents? They look like a cute couple.” Tree Trunks said happily.

“Yes, very sweet!” Sweet P agreed. Some of the people in the audience were eyeing Finn’s mom that sat nearby the young human man, but others looked confused.

“Huh, so that’s Finn’s mom over there.” Hunson Abadeer looked at the Minerva bot that was sitting near Finn. It stirred strange emotions in him when he saw the interaction between Terra Finn and his family.

“That game that Finn is playing has great graphics.” BMO said with interest.

“Hey Finn, where’s your dad?” LSQ questioned Finn, with some folks in the audience staring at Finn.

“He’s not around right now, he’s umm…flying though space or something.” Finn answered as he himself had no idea where his human father was.

“Was this America a past human kingdom?” Phoebe spoke up.

“It fell during the Great Mushroom War, right?” Flambo asked.

“Hmmm, yes.” PB answered.

“I used to study the ancient civilizations of the humans that used to rule the world, and yes, there was in fact a human nation called America, also known as the United States of America, or USA, and it was destroyed during the Great Mushroom War.” The Candy Monarch explained.

“Can confirm because I have a few books about the fallen human kingdoms in my library. One book talks about the rise of America and its fall during the Great Mushroom War; it’s called Fallen Eagle.” Turtle Princess added.

“I always wondered what the past human nations were like…” Minerva thought.

“What’s a Navy SEAL?” Mr. Fox asked.

“I’m guessing a special type of soldier, maybe? This Terra Finn did say he wants to join the army of his kingdom.” Rattleballs explained.

“Then what’s going on here? If this America fell and was destroyed many years ago, why is Finn here? Is this even Finn? Is this his great ancestor?” BMO let out a rapid fire of questions.

“We don’t know little BMO; we just need to watch more to get more information.” King Man said to the little robot.

After chatting with his parents, Finn went back to playing his game. After ten minutes passed, Finn got a phone call from his best friend, and he picked it up.

“Fionna, what’s up girl?” Finn greeted her.

“Hey Finn, did you get Elden Bracelet yet?”

“Oh yeah, this game is mathematical! It’s not hard, but it’s challenging, though. You’re gonna get hit with back-to-back boss fights. Straight boss rush.”

“I’m downloading it right now, what’s the most challenging boss so far?”

“First boss, Savage Slimer? He ain’t shit, he’s a piece of cake. Next boss fight, the  Troll Titan? He’s difficult at first, but you can kill him easily once you learn his attack pattern. But the goddamn Deadman Dragon? Man, he is hard as hell because he has so much health and hits like a fucking truck.”

“Oh, wow, thanks for the heads up, dude.”

They talked about the game some more and Finn even mentioned that he was going to go to the movies tomorrow.

“Wait a minute…did Finn just say Fionna?” Wildberry Princess spoke up.

“Fionna?” Simon looked at her curiously.

Minerva frowned while she watched the screen, not liking that Terra Finn had a bit of a potty mouth and it felt so strange to hear Finn swearing, even though he’s technically not her Finn.

“Huh? Ice King’s fanfiction about a female me exists in the Terra verse and she’s friends with my adult alternate self? What is she going to do? Is she going to teammate with Terra Finn to stop the Lich variant?” Finn thought with shock.

LSQ gasped.

“No way, Ice King’s fanfiction about girl Finn is real in this version of Ooo!?”

Party God chuckled.

“Haha, what? That loser wrote a fanfiction about Finn the Human being a girl? Is Jake a female dog in it too?”

“I’m a sassy female magical cat in Ice King’s fanfiction.” Jake replied.

“That’s really weird to think that dad is a female cat and if mom is a male rainicorn in this fanfiction world, we would become half cat and half rainicorn. I’d probably be born a guy.” Jake Jr said.

“I love dogs, but I don’t think it would work if Jake was a cat...” Bob thought.

Lady was puzzled over the fact that Jake was a female cat in the story. If she was a male rainicorn in the story, would they still have ended up together?

“So, Fionna and Cake exists in this alternate Ooo, huh? Does Marshall Lee also exist and what’s his relationship with Fionna, Finn, and the male Bonnie?” Marcy thought with interest.

“Ice King wrote a gender bender fanfic about us? I’m a guy in it, aren’t I?” Phoebe asked.

Some folks in the audience started to murmur about how different things would have been if they were born the opposite gender.

While everyone chatted, Finn and Jake were just glad that this alternate Finn seemed to live a normal life with nothing bad happening. However, they were still on edge because Farmworld started exactly like this with everything being peaceful at first, but then everything went to chaos in a short amount of time.

Jake remembered how quickly it went from 0 to 100.

It started with Farmworld Finn needing to sell a farm animal to make money, and then on the same day, he turns into a variant of Ice King, the bomb that is destined to ruin the world goes off, Farmworld Marceline dies, and the Lich rises again.

It’s fun and interesting to see the daily life of a Finn Mertens that lived like a normal civilian; it reminded Finn of the time that he pretended to be a normal human guy that wasn’t a Hero of Ooo called Davey.

However, but both the human hero and dog hero had a strong feeling that it wasn’t going to last long.

The chatter from the audience started to die down about Ice King’s fanfiction about Finn and Jake being girls and other folks being gender swapped. Once it was silent again, the ‘movie’ resumed.

Tomorrow Night

After saying goodbye to his parents, Finn decided to take the family car instead of his motorcycle to the movies. It was just in case he needed to carpool with his friends, but it was also because he loved the car. The family car was a dark blue Dodge Challenger that had comfortable seats and Finn loved riding it in and falling asleep in the back seat when he was a kid.

It was nighttime and it was raining lightly, so Finn wore his black leather jacket. He was wearing the new hat and shirt his parents gave him.

The Sunday morning was very uneventful with Finn doing his usual routine of working out, playing with Jake, doing chores around the house, playing games, talking with Fionna, and polishing his sword collection.

Finn smiled, loving the fact that Terra Finn had a sword collection on his wall.

“That is one cool car that Finn has.” Banana Man said, looking at the Dodge Challenger with fascination.

“It’s neat and slick!” Jake agreed. It made Finn, Jake, and Banana Man a bit sad as they had to sacrifice the truck to kill the shapeshifting lizard monster that was posing as PB.

“Heh, its not as cool as our cars in Lumpy Space. Ours can totally fly! Can his human car take to the skies?” LSQ said with a grin.

Simon looked at the Finn on the screen driving on the road, driving alongside other cars. It made him reflect back on the time that he let little Marceline play in abandoned cars when they were traveling through a destroyed city.

“I wonder why he took the car; he should have taken that totally sweet motorcycle he has!” Jake Jr said.

“It’s interesting he has a motorcycle just like Billy.” Canyon said.

“He probably only rides it to pick up chicks.” Marcy chuckled. Some people in the audience chuckled with the vampire queen.

The streets weren’t that busy at night and the movie theater wasn’t that far away, so it was quite an easy drive for him. He showed up earlier and waited for his buddies in the car, but he received a few texts from them, telling Finn that they wouldn’t make it on time, or that they were busy.

Finn sighed with annoyance and decided to go see the movie by himself, but instead of the new one that just came out, he wanted to see Sword of Thrones the movie again; a fantasy story about a heroic knight fighting evil magic dragons, trying to stop to nations from going to war, and trying to fend off the incestuous advances of his older blood related sisters.

It was a really good movie, but a bit controversial because of the incest and the scene of the sisters trying to get the knight drunk and force themselves on him, and while it did disturb Finn, he still thought the main character of the story, Billy Walker, was a great knight that really took the knightly code seriously.

Before he was about to go into the theater, he decided to send a quick text message of what was going on with Fionna.

“I kind of want to know more about this Sword of Thrones movie. I wonder what mathematical adventures Billy Walker gets up to.” Finn said with interest.

“Except the whole part about the sisters trying to sleep with their own brother, that is just nasty dude.” Jake grimaced.

“And hopefully, he stays away from his icky sisters.” Marceline gagged in disgust.

Many in the audience nodded in agreement with the yellow dog and vampire queen, finding the idea of mating a blood-related family member absolutely disgusting. A few even made disgusted exclamations like “eww!” or “gross!” or “yuck!” at what the sisters were doing.

“Such unions will inflict genetic defects on the unfortunate offspring.” PB stated.

Minerva nodded and while she wanted humans to breed and expand to bring back humanity, she made it the point that indulging in incest would have had future consequences. She was glad that most humans did not do that vile act within her community that she built up.

“Hmm…the human knight has the same name as Billy. It’s probably just a coincidence.” Canyon thought.

"Hey, Fio. What up?”

To his surprise, Fionna quickly replied back.

"Bored out of my mind dude. Friends flaked on me when I was about to go get my hair and nails done, but I guess I’ll do it by my lonesome."

Finn grinned, but quickly frowned when he realized that Fionna was in the exact same situation as he was in.

"Oh, so you like to get all dolled up now, Miss Tomboy? I thought you didn’t like girly things?"

"Screw you, bro! I like to do girly things every now and then, sometimes I prefer pants over a skirt, but it won’t kill me if I have to dress up like a Disney Princess. I’m fickle like that, but I do lean more towards pants. Don’t judge! TOMBOY PRIDE.”

Finn laughed.

"So, what are you doing bro?"

"I was about to go the movies with my friends, but my fellow college dudes flaked on me and I’m about to head out to see another movie."

"Damn, just like me huh? I’m sorry about that Finn."

"It’s cool, Fio, so see ya later. I’m going to see a different movie right now."

"Which one?"

"Swords of Thrones."

"Shut up!"

"Eeyup!"

"Damn I love that movie! Oh, it sucks so much that we don’t live nearby, I would love to see it with you right now!"

"I know, but maybe when I make enough money, or you make enough money, we can meet in person at your place, or mine."

"I would love that, Finn."

"Me too, Fio."

Finn hung up and was about to get out of the car, but he received a phone call from one of his college buddies, Donny.

“Hey, Donny, what’s up?”

“Yo, Finn the Delinquent, how are you doing?”

Finn chuckled in amusement.

“Don, stop calling me that, bro! I’m not a bad guy.”

Some members of the audience smiled at the interaction between Finn and Fionna.

“That’s so cute! It’s like Fionna is Finn’s long-lost sister!” Viola gushed.

“I wonder what it would have been like if we had a sister.” Finn said to Jake and Jermaine.

“Oh, we would have had ten times more fun if we had a sis!” Jake chuckled.

“I honestly don’t know how that would go down if we had a female sibling.” Jermaine said.

“Hmm…I wonder how things would have been different if Marshall Lee was my brother. Would he go down my path too?” Marceline thought.

“Hey, Finn, that guy said his name is Donny. Does he have any relation to the Donny, the grass ogre that protects the house people from the why-wolves?” PB asked. Finn shrugged.

“Beats me, earlier, the knight guy’s name was Billy Walker, and he’s obviously just a human swordsman in a movie and not like our Billy who is a giant. Donny might be a human here.” The human replied.

LSQ and the other Ooo princesses giggled at Terra Finn’s nickname.

“Hehe, Finn the Delinquent…I wonder what bad boy stuff he did to get a nickname like that.”

“Nothing too bad…hopefully.” Minerva said, hoping that this Finn did not fall into the bad crowd.

“Gee, I hope Finn isn’t a thug here.” Slime Princess shared Minerva’s concern.

“From what we’ve seen, this Finn seems to have good parents. I don’t think he is a bad man.” Simon said.

“I agree, he sounds like a guy that wanted to be seen as tough, but he has a good heart.” TV said. As a detective, TV became good at reading the intent of someone, and he didn’t see anything in Terra Finn that would suggest that he is a hoodlum.

The Flame Queen nodded.

“Yes, he hasn’t done anything to suggest that he’s bad. Besides, it’s just the untrue rumors being spread about him.” Phoebe said.  

It was a funny nickname that Donny gave him, not just because Finn looked like a thug with his big rock-hard muscles and tattoos, but it was because he kept getting detention and suspended in middle school and high school because Finn kept getting in fights with bullies. The teachers weren’t doing anything to stop the bullies, so Finn had to beat up the bullies that were messing with the underclassmen.

It unfortunately made Finn develop a bad boy reputation, even though he wasn’t a troublemaker and had decent grades, but he still struggled with Math a bit. It wasn’t because he meant that most classmen feared him, but it was how strong and untouchable he was when he crushed the bullies.

Rumor and gossip will always mutate into something different if passed around enough and Finn’s reputation went from “he only fights bullies that hurts others” to “he’ll beat you up whenever he feels like it” type of metamorphosis.

Donny used to be a bully that tried to steal Finn’s lunch money in high school, and after the two boys squabbled and settled their difference, Donny got humbled and became a friend to Finn and even went to the same college as him.

“Sorry not sorry! Anyway man, I’m sorry I flaked on you on the last minute. I had issues with the family, and I was able to get it done on time. Can we catch a later showing of the new movie?”

Finn looked at his watch.

“Sure man!”

Despite the young blonde-haired man watching Sword of Thrones multiple times, he still enjoyed the hell out of the movie and had a blast by himself. The addition of popcorn, soda, and candy made things better and Finn was now on his way back home.

Finn was excited that there would be a sequel coming soon called Sword of Thrones 2: Hungering Cold.

In this one, Billy Walker is about to fight an undead king of ice called the Frost Overlord that wants to take over the world, devour his soul, and turn all humans and animals into ice zombies.

However, Finn was a bit bothered by the fact that the sequel will have a different director and different writers. He hoped they didn’t do anything stupid like making Billy Walker incompetent or make his sisters smarter than he is.

After he watched Sword of Thrones, he waited for Donny in and both men saw the new movie. It was a shame that Susan Strong couldn’t come, but it was ok because he’ll catch her next time.

After watching the new movie, he said goodbye to Donny and left. It was such a cool movie night for Finn; he got to see an old movie he liked and a new movie all in one night.

“That sequel sounds awesome; I would watch the heck out of it!” Finn said with excitement.

Canyon smiled.

“It’s good to know that Terra Finn is somewhat of a low-level hero here. He may not be defeating evil monsters, but I appreciate him setting a bully straight and then reforming him.”

“Way to go grown up Finn!” Jake gave Terra Finn on the screen a thumbs up. It was just like that time they tried to stop Donny for being a bully, but unfortunately for them…it was necessary that the grass ogre had to be a bully to stop the why-wolves.

“He had issues with math, just like me…” Finn noted the similar weakness he shared with his adult counterpart.

PB giggled.

“At least this Terra Finn is fighting evil like our Finn…even if it’s something minor.”

“I can’t stand bullies.” Marcy muttered with annoyance. She was glad that Terra Finn was putting bullies that picked on the weak in their place.

“Oh yeah, they like suck!” LSQ agreed.

“How hypocritical of you both…” Breakfast Princess thought, shooting the vampire queen and LSQ a glare over the time that they teamed up to ‘prank’ her by stealing her car, assaulting her royal guards, and leaving her stranded far away from her kingdom.

Suson Strong sat up straight at Terra Finn referencing her.

“Huh? I exist there? Am I a Seeker or a normal human?” She asked curiously.

“Just like I’m a bit different, the Susan Strong there must be different too.” Finn answered.

“That’s sweet that he’s protecting his underclass men.” Phoebe said.

It was still raining outside, but it was no longer light, now it was coming down like cats and dogs, so Finn cracked his wind shield wipers on the highest setting. As he was getting close to him, Finn noticed some flashing red lights ahead of the road and quickly discovered there was a few cop cars and an ambulance in front of him.

 He immediately deduced that they were at the sight of a car crash, and it didn’t help that he saw some broken car pieces randomly spread out across the asphalt.

A police officer standing close to his police car directed Finn to another road and Finn had no choice but to obey and he unfortunately needed to take a detour that was going to take longer for him to get home.

Still…

Finn felt awful at seeing the crashed cars and hoped the people were fine. It looked like a gray pickup truck that flipped over and crashed into a white van. He didn’t see drivers, just the cops, but Finn prayed to God that they didn’t die or suffer any life-threatening injuries.

Finn drove on a different path towards home and after driving for ten minutes, he came across a car tunnel going through a mountain. There was another street he could have taken, but it was closed down because of road construction, so Finn had to make another detour, and this detour took him to this strange car tunnel that he wasn’t familiar with in which Finn stopped his car in front of.

In fact, Finn didn’t recognize this tunnel. He lived in this nice Californian town all his life, and he didn’t know that there was a car tunnel here; I guess he never thought to drive down here. After all, this tunnel was in the middle of nowhere, a little far from the main streets of town.

It didn’t help that it was just him down this road with other drivers, and the closest thing to the tunnel were condemned and abandoned houses, so the place felt strangely eerie and lonely to Finn.

“Don’t they usually have lights in tunnels like these?” Finn thought, noticing just how dark and foreboding the car tunnel looked. The heavy rain was getting worse, and Finn heard the sound of thundering in the sky; he had better get home quickly, or his parents would have been worried about him getting caught in a flash flood.

The GPS on his smartphone was telling him the tunnel was the fastest route home, so Finn had no choice but to take it, and it told Finn it was only a few miles long, so there was no harm in taking it.

Finn put his foot on the gas pedal and began to drive into the tunnel. He was right that the tunnel had no lights on the walls, or ceiling, which wasn’t safe in his opinion. This was probably a very old car tunnel, or the men that built the tunnel were either lazy, or couldn’t afford to have lights installed in it.

It is indeed a safety hazard because it would be very dangerous if someone with no working headlights tried to drive through the tunnel at night.

After a minute or so driving down the tunnel, Finn’s GPS on his smartphone started to malfunction and his phone suddenly shut off.

“Oh no, I hope the people who crashed are ok and that Terra Finn doesn’t crash into anyone in the tunnel.” Tree Trunks said with concern.

When Terra Finn’s smart phone turned off, it made Finn and Jake sit up straighter and were now hyper focused on the scene. The two Heroes of Ooo knew that the normal life for Terra Finn was soon about to end and whatever was in that tunnel was going to change everything.

“Buckle up dude, things are about to get serious.” Jake whispered to Finn. Finn nodded and frowned at the scene.

“Whatever happens now, I hope you can keep up Terra Finn and stay on your toes…” Prismo thought.

“Oh dear, his phone went out? He must have bad reception in that tunnel.” Jungle Princess said, clutching her short spear tightly.

“It’s got to be it.” Turtle Princess said.

“I have a bad feeling about this.” Jermaine commented.

“I second that uncle.” Kim Kil Whan agreed.

“Me three!” Jake Jr chimed in.

PB and Marcy remained quiet, observing the scene closely and both of the immortal women had a strong hunch something bad was about to happen to Terra Finn.

The rest of the audience grew tense at the scene of Terra Finn driving through the tunnel.

“Huh?” Finn said out loud.

He was wondering what was happening, but Finn was suddenly struck by a sharp stabbing pain in his head, and he was seeing strange images play out in his head. It was a tree house, upright walking Jake, pale fanged vampire-like lady, candy lady made out of gum, and the kid version of himself was about to kiss a girl that was literally made out of pure fire.

Finn thought his kid counterpart was absolutely mental, why was he trying to kiss a girl made out of pure intense heat? Did he want to have his face melted off? Finn couldn’t deny the fire chick was hot-no pun intended, but to actually touch her? That’s crazy.

“Whoa, shit!” Finn struggled not to crash the car against the tunnel wall. He was able to maintain the car and drive like normal, but Finn was hit with a horrible phenomenon that he wished he was never struck by.

The cave started to shake and with horror, Finn realized it was an earthquake, and he was inside a cave, one of the worst places to be in when the earthquake is strong enough to cause landslides and split open the ground. There were already cracks starting to form on the ceiling and walls and Finn had to quickly get out or he would have been crushed to death.

Finn powered himself forward as quickly as his car could go, but he still couldn’t see the end of the tunnel. The GPS told him the tunnel wasn’t that long so why couldn’t he still see the end? It seemed to go on in a never-ending abyss. He reached over 90 MPH as the shaking got worse and he still couldn’t see the end.

“How long is this damn tunnel!?” Finn shouted.

Then he felt the sensation of falling…

The ground completely opened up like a sinkhole and Finn and his car were sent falling down a black pit.

“Ahhhh!” Finn screamed in horror as he fell down the pit and he was shrouded in darkness, even his headlights on his car turned off. The falling lasted for about a few seconds and then suddenly, Finn felt like he was floating in midair in zero g gravity.

“Huh? He fell into space?” Bronwyn said with confusion.

“Oh my Glob! That tunnel must be some kind of hidden portal he accidently stumbled into!” Denise said with worry. She remembered the same incident happened to Finn and Jake when they both chased after the Sea Lard that was sucked down into a hidden underwater portal that was within her grotto.

“Ah, so is this what’s going to happen, Boss? A normal Finn Mertens being transported to Ooo?” Prismo thought.

“That’s odd. Does magic exist in that world? Terra Finn lives in a normal Earth with no supernatural stuff, how did he accidently blunder upon a hidden magic portal?” Jake thought with concern.

“I have a feeling…that tunnel wasn’t supposed to be there.” PB stated.

“How so, Bonnie?” Marcy asked.

“Remember when Terra Finn said that a tunnel like that being there was strange and how it did not have any lights in it? Yeah, I think that tunnel was deliberately placed there.” PB elaborated.

“By whom or what?” Marcy looked at her in bewilderment. The candy princess shrugged.

Finn remained quiet; his face was stoic and serious as he observed his adult counterpart float through space within his car.

“Dang, that’s crazy; he either got transported to a different dimension, or he got teleported to a random spot in space away from his planet.” Mr. Fox commented.

“I sure hope he’s not going to get hurt.” Huntress Wizard said. Phoebe nodded, agreeing with the forest nymph.

As his car floated, Finn realized he wasn’t in the tunnel anymore, but it felt like he was floating in space with bizarre lights that looked like far away stars around him. It was like his car had turned into a spaceship and he was traveling through galaxies. He would have been amazed at the sight, but a very deep and menacing voice spoke to him that made Finn’s blood run cold and made him struggle to breathe.

YOU DON’T BELONG IN THIS REALM, HUMAN…IT LOOKS LIKE FATE ITSELF DOESN’T WANT ME TO WIN IF YOU ARE HERE…

A deep and masculine voice spoke to him, coming from a green fiery star that manifested itself as a terrifying horned skull with blazing green eyes.

LEAVE NOW, BUT IF YOU STAY AND OPPOSE ME, YOU WILL DIE LIKE YOUR OTHER AND SUFFER AN AGONIZING END JUST LIKE HIM…

Finn couldn’t talk as he was struggling to breathe and before he could react, he found himself falling again away from the floating stars and back in pitch black darkness. This time he wasn’t floating through space, but he was back in the car tunnel.

“W-What the fuck?” Finn looked around in confusion. The thing he was talking to him suddenly vanished, and he was back in the car tunnel. The ground wasn’t shaking and everything seemed normal.

Other than the car jolting upward for a second as if Finn just struck a speed bump too fast, his car was fine and didn’t get destroyed from the fall.

“The Lich!”

Some people in the audience yelled out the wicked being’s name in unison.

“That jerk.” Hunson Abadeer spat angrily.

“Oh I definitely agree with you, dad. The jerk of the century…” Marcy said with a hiss.

PB remained quiet and tried not to let herself quake like a leaf. When she was killed for a brief moment and the Lich took over her body, it absolutely messed with her mind. It was all thanks to Marcy and Finn that helped her resolve her trauma with the Lich.

She sighed to calm her nerves; she shouldn’t get this all worked. Even if this is truly happening, the beginning made it clear it won’t affect their world.

“You!” Canyon gritted her teeth. She will never forgive the Lich for not only killing Billy, but wearing his dead body like a skin suit.

“He’s back?” TV said with shock.

“No matter what worlds and realities you traverse, you will never stay gone…” Death thought.

“He’s such a big meanie.” Sweet P frowned while watching the Lich taunt Terra Finn.

“I-It’s got be a trick or something!” Breakfast Princess stuttered. Her little sisters cowered in fear and huddled close to their big sister. The water nymphs in the jacuzzi dived under the water.

“He’s a star in this dimension? No, he could be a manifestation of the hand.” Prismo thought.

“Let’s not be scared, after we dealt with GOLB, we can defend our lands from that monster.” Flint, Phoebe’s brother spoke up.

“Stop freaking out ya’ll, it’s just a movie!” LSQ yelled out.

“Wait, LSQ. At the beginning it said that this is based on true events, so what we are watching isn’t fictional.” Lumpy Space King said.

Finn glared with such anger at the Lich belittling Terra Finn, but realization struck the human man…

“Wait a moment…” Finn muttered. He leaned over to Jake.

“Did the Lich just say that Terra Finn will die like his other?” The human whispered to his dog brother to ensure no one could eavesdrop on them. Thankfully, everyone was too busy chattering about how terrible the Lich was.

“You don’t mean…” Jake began.

“The Lich variant killed me in the alternate version of Ooo. Is that it?” Finn theorized on what was going on.

“It could possibly be that. After all…why is your adult normal counterpart being transported to Ooo? To fill in because the Finn of that Ooo failed to defeat the Lich?” Jake said to Finn.

Finn nodded.

“It’s probably why Prismo’s Boss told us we can’t intervene. Terra Finn is going to do it, but with his cushy normal life, can he really take on the Lich? It was difficult for us to beat the crude out of that bag of bones, and we are full blown adventurers.”  

“I don’t know buddy, but we just need to trust that Terra Finn adapts when he arrives in the alternate Ooo. We are counting on him.” Jake replied.

Finn leaned back into his seat, satisfied with Jake’s answer. It still made him uncomfortable as Finn had no idea if the Jake in the other Ooo was either dead, or wasn’t a Hero of Ooo.

“Did I just imagine all that?” Finn questioned himself. The falling and earthquake felt very real to him, and he did not fall asleep in the car, so what happened to him? Did he experience a much more extreme version of the migraine? Did it knock him out and make him experience a terrible nightmare?

He turned the headlights back on off his car and it lit up the car tunnel. It looked normal at first, but he noticed that the ceiling and walls looked very old. Finn turned his smartphone back on and discovered he had no signal, so he couldn’t call or text his parents.

The good news was that there was light at the end of the car tunnel, but Finn realized that it shouldn’t be daytime right now. He went to see the movies at night and was only gone for just a couple of hours, so it should still be a cold rainy night.

With caution, Finn drove his Dodge Challenger out of the car tunnel and into the light, and he was shocked at what he saw when he came out.

He was no longer in his Californian hometown, but he was near a forest and large grassy meadow. There was no forest near his home so where was he exactly? There were also no man-made streets, or even dirt roads; it’s like the car tunnel spat him out in a random area in the wilderness that wasn’t touched by humans.

He looked back and the car tunnel was the only thing that was man-made. Finn slowly drove forward not knowing where to go, but he heard thundering and realized there was about to be a storm as he noticed black storm clouds quickly gathering in the sky.

Finn didn’t think none of it at first, but that all changed when he saw fucking knives falling from the sky instead of rain or hail.

“What the fuck? Why is it raining blades!?” Finn’s eyes widened in shock. He quickly backed his car into the car tunnel to stop the blades from damaging his car, or penetrating through his wind shield, stabbing him.

As the knives from the blade storm stabbed into the ground, Finn had to check to see if he was dreaming because raining blades is something you will NEVER see in real life. He pinched himself on his arm and then slammed his head on the steering wheel, honking the horn.

“Ow, damn it…” Finn exclaimed in pain. It hurt and much to his horror, Finn was indeed wide awake and not dreaming, meaning the blade storm happening right now was legitimately real and not an illusion, trick, nor was he dreaming. He checked to see if his car was damaged, but surprisingly, it was still together with nothing missing, and it didn’t have any dents, so he didn’t crash into anything. He even honked the car horn again.

Finn once again checked his smartphone and he still had no signal or any means to contact his parents, or help from the authorities.

This situation reminded him of anime and comic books that he reads or watches, the situation where a person is sent to another dimension, or world. The Japanese had a name for it as Finn struggled to remember what it was called, but it soon came to him. He wasn’t really into anime that much as Finn preferred American and European fantasy stories, but he did enjoy some fantasy anime every now and then.

He was Isekai’d.

No doubt about it.

Finn wanted to think it was crazy for something like this to happen to him as it was all just fictional stuff, but this was very real, especially when he tried to hurt himself to wake up. What else could he come up with?

The young blonde-haired man did remember stories of people going through the Bermuda Triangle and never returning, some speculated the people were killed by sea monsters, rough waters, or were abducted by aliens, or went through a ‘portal’ that spat them out in the future, past, or a different dimension.

Finn thought all that was ridiculous, but he doesn’t think so right now…

Come to think of it, the car tunnel did feel off to Finn, even before he entered it. Could it be the same phenomenon that surrounded the infamous Bermuda Triangle?

With nothing better to do, Finn started to ponder what the intimidating skeletal monster surrounded by green fire said to him.

“What did it mean by ‘other’? Was it talking about my counterpart that I saw in my mind? Did the kid variant of myself get killed by that unholy thing? Whatever it is, it can go fuck itself.” Finn spat.

He just wanted to go home on his own terms. The thing can go to Hell for all Finn cared, he needed to get back home, or his mom was going to have a panic attack about him going missing and his dad would have torn the town apart looking for him.

Finn accepted his mission to return home and had to prepare himself. He got out of the car, went into the car trunk, and grabbed himself some supplies: A crowbar, a box of 9mm rounds, some cigarettes, flashlight, first aid kid, his old green high school backpack, a hidden handgun that was stashed in the trunk.

The handgun was a black 9mm Beretta 92FS that Finn’s dad kept hidden in the trunk in case of an emergency and now it was about to serve its purpose.

Finn sighed.

He couldn’t blame Terra Finn for wanting to leave. He was just ripped from his home, loved ones, and transported to an alien and unfamiliar location. He had a feeling this was going to be a whole dilemma about Terra Finn wanting to go back home and not accept the role of a Hero and Champion of Ooo.

He probably doesn’t even want to fight the Lich.

Still…

Seeing the Knife Storm brought back happy memories when he and Jake stayed inside the Tree Fort and let their imagination run wild.

It was also interesting that Terra Finn was seeing flashes of memories of the other Finn that lived in Ooo, or maybe it was his memories being dumped into Terra Finn’s mind. Maybe this was going to play a part in helping Terra Finn become a Hero of Ooo…

“I can’t blame ya dude.” Jake muttered, accepting why Terra Finn wanted to leave. He would too if something pulled him away from family, best friends, and home. 

“Ahh, don’t you just love Knife Storms?” Marcy joked.

Slime Princess was glad that she didn’t have to worry about Knife Storms as her kingdom was underground.

“They haven’t been happening recently.” PB said.

Canyon looked at Terra Finn with sympathy. As much as she wanted him to go fight the Lich and be a Hero, he had to accept it on his own. No one can be a Hero by force, so she hoped Terra Finn could do his part in helping some folks out while trying to get back home.

“I wonder what the word Isekai means.” Mr. Pig said.

“It sounds funky.” Mr. Fox said.

“It most likely comes from a different human language.” Turtle Princess commented.

He walked over and decided to grab a knife that was lying on the ground and to his surprise, the knife that fell from the storm clouds was an actual real knife and wasn’t fake. This meant he would have actually been stabbed to death by the falling knives from the knife storm if he didn’t retreat back into the car tunnel.

Finn sat back in the driver’s seat of his car, took off his leather jacket and threw it in the backseat, and started smoking a cigarette while waiting for the blade storm to stop so he could find a village, town, or city to help him.</p>

He didn’t think of driving back through the tunnel; there was actually a dead end not too far from the opening, so he was stuck in the car tunnel until the rain of knives ended.

Finn flinched as another migraine came onto him, but no images flashed in his head this time and only gave him an annoying nosebleed…

Unfortunately for Finn, honking the car horn drew the attention of something lurking nearby that was also hiding from both the knife storm and the rays of the sun. The being took refuge under some thick trees while strumming her red guitar.

A certain long raven-haired vampiric beauty with fangs and pale skin that was just minding her business noticed honks from a car horn coming from the car tunnel that she was about to explore, but the knife storm halted her progress.

At first, she didn’t think nothing of it, maybe some denizens of Ooo were playing with a busted car that was inside the car tunnel that was still somewhat operational. She did recall seeing an old pick-up truck hanging from a tree at one point.

She would sometimes do that herself, play with old artifacts and devices left by the humans that went extinct from the Great Mushroom War whenever she felt like exploring around Ooo; she did it because she was bored and trying to amuse herself, or looking for new material for her music, or to reminisce about humanity, and especially her long-lost dad…

But what confused her was the delicious smell of human blood coming from the car tunnel.

She was a creature of the night and knew exactly what the smell was and there was no mistaking it. Her kind did prey on humans, and this caused her to lick her lips with excitement, because now she really wanted to know what was in that car tunnel and her day of adventuring has just got more interesting…

As Finn wiped away his bloody nose with some napkins that were stashed in the car, he felt like he was being watched by something from the trees in the nearby forest. He saw a shadowy figure move quickly between the trees and it seemed to be getting closer and closer to the car tunnel that he was in.

He’s been camping a lot with his father to know that something is silently stalking him while in the wilderness which made Finn realized he just fucked himself over because he honked the car horn not once, but twice. When in unfamiliar territory, especially in the middle of wilderness not touched by humans, it was never a good idea to make a lot of loud noises.

Once this blade storm lets up, he is legging it the hell out of there. After some time, the clouds started to vanish by the second and the many knives littering the ground also started to disappear and after a few minutes, other than a lot of holes in the ground, there was no trace of the blades.

“Truly a bizarre eldritch-like place…” Finn thought as he started to drive out of the car tunnel. After the knife storm, the sun was still out as Finn was able to tell it was noon. The shadowy figure was still hiding from tree to tree, but it stopped trying to chase him once Finn drove out of the tunnel.

In the rearview mirror, Finn could have sworn he saw red glowing eyes looking at him from the woods. He could tell that the thing stalking him really wanted to follow him out of the meadow, but something was keeping it back. It was almost like it was scared of the sunlight and it wanted to drag him into the darkness and do terrible things to him.

“Whatever you are, you aren’t getting the chance. So, step off.” Finn muttered, driving down the meadow and away from the car tunnel and forest.

Driving through the meadow was somewhat easy, but Finn knew he would eventually have to leave the car to clear more ground. His car wasn’t meant for off roading like this, and even if he did have a big truck that can drive over rocks with ease, it still wouldn’t have mattered.

He changed the radio to maybe see if he could get any frequency. Finn didn’t think it was going to work because his smartphone had no reception, but to his surprise, he found something…

“…this is Starchy the Gravedigger of the Graveyard Shift radio show, and I hope all you folks out there in Ooo were safe from the knife storm. I don’t normally post during the day, but I had to check and make sure ya’ll are safe

It was great to discover that there was possible human civilization here because of this Starchy broadcasting news which made Finn sigh with relief because if there is a person broadcasting news, then that means there could be a possible town, or city nearby.

He had to wait until tonight so he could get more information out of Starchy’s radio show, so Finn could decide what to do next.

But he couldn’t sit in wait in the car tunnel because something was clearly stalking him, so Finn had no choice but to move on from the area…

Hunson Abadeer cheered.

“Oh yes, my daughter is on the big screen!” He said with excitement.

While Simon was happy to see Marcy was revealed, it made him a bit uncomfortable because there was something off about her…

Marcy was about to voice her joy at seeing herself on the big screen, but there was something…dark about the on-screen Marcy that was bugging her, and it felt very familiar to her.

She knew the feeling. The feeling that she had every now and then back when she didn’t meet Finn and Jake and her relationship with Bonnie was strained. The crushing sensation of being a loner that had no family, friends, and it was just you against the whole world.

The void was filled with constantly pranking everyone across Ooo, but it was never enough.

Marcy suddenly felt great concern for Terra Finn’s wellbeing because he was about to meet her counterpart that’s most likely going to give him a hard time.

She herself didn’t really make a good first person when she met the boys like kicking them out of their houses twice, beating up Finn, and almost killing Jake.

It’s probably going to be worse now since this Finn is a grown man and not a child. And he has no Jake to back him up.

“I hope you don’t break his legs other me.” Marcy thought.

“That Marcy is giving me bad vibes.” Jake said out loud. He could feel that the on-screen Marcy had that same dark intensity when Marcy broke into the Tree Fort and kicked them out and scared him and Finn.

He honestly felt sad for Terra Finn because he was about to get wrecked by the alternate universe vampire queen.

“He is so toast huh?” Mr. Fox said.

“Let's just hope that the Marceline the Vampire Queen is reasonable here.” Kim Kil Whan said.

“Uhh, probably not.” Finn said. He just knew his counterpart was about to have a rough first day in Ooo.

PB frowned and shook her head. She knew all too well about Marcy’s dark aura she excluded when the two got into a fight and didn’t want to see each other for a long time. The candy princess just hoped that the other Marcy didn’t kill Terra Finn.

“Hey, my radio show!” Starchy beamed with joy.

“He’ll definitely use your radio show to learn about Ooo.” Phoebe said.

“And we will also get to find out what happened to this alternate version of Ooo.” Huntress Wizard spoke up.
