HII!!!! here are some things i would like to mention abot the au:

A band AU of the dream smp !! There ARE ships but everyone mentioned are based off of the CHARACTERS, NOT the IRLs

Dream Team, Karl Jacobs, and Wilbur ARE mentioned BUT I do not support any of them in any way at all

It might be OOC but I’ll try not to

Everyone is at least 20

They’re all human

SBI are all family

Birthdays are based off when the members joined

I will use my headcanons for sexuality/gender though I will be keeping the sexuality/gender as accurate as possible :)

The first few chapters will be introducing you to the bands + some short stories between the introduction chapters

Ships AREN’T the main focus

They all have canon designs but I am struggling to upload images so I'll most likely just tell you about their appearances :)

Band Name – EXTRAterrestrial

“Why is it called EXTRAterrestrial?” Because literally none of them are depicted as human within the fandom most of the time, c!Tubbo is depicted as a goat hybrid, c!Tommy is depicted as an avian or a demon hybrid or a raccoon hybrid, c!Ranboo is always depicted as a hybrid of an enderman and some unknown creature, and c!Purpled is depicted as an alien almost all the time

About the band:

They don’t really have a lead singer, so like for one song au!Tommy is the lead vocalist and the next song au!Tubbo is the one singing most of the song

Background about how the friendships were formed, how the band formed, and how au!Tubbo and au!Ranboo started dating:

How au!Tommy and au!Tubbo met:

They met in third grade, Tommy met Tubbo one day when they were forced to  partner up for some group project because no one wanted to pick them, but as they worked together and started talking more they started getting along and realized that both of them are really cool (not without having some disagreements on what they should do on the project though), and then after the project they were best friends and they were practically inseparable by the time third grade ended

How au!Tommy and au!Purpled met:

In 5th grade Purpled was a new student and hadn’t made any friends, so since Tubbo was absent, Tommy thought he might as well be friends with the new kid, so during lunch Tommy approached Purpled and they started talking and then after a bit they became friends

How au!Tubbo and au!Purpled met:

When Tubbo came back to school, Tommy introduced them to each other, and then allowed them to go talk with each other and went to the bathroom for awhile, at first Tubbo had some one-sided beef with Purpled but after a few days they did eventually start getting along, not without some tension which eventually just faded away slowly as time went by

How au!Tubbo and au!Ranboo met:

Freshman year, Ranboo was a new student, they were just kinda hanging out on the rooftop until they heard the door open, almost thinking that they got caught by a teacher but then they realized it was just their classmate, Tubbo, and then after a few minutes of silence, they started talking and getting to know each other more

How au!Ranboo and au!Tommy met:

Tubbo introduced them to each other when Tommy finally got to the roof after being told off by a teacher because for some reason he was accused for talking in class and got a lecture for it, they seemed to get along pretty quickly, the three of them ended up hanging out that day (If you’re wondering where Purpled was he had a fever that day so he wasn’t in school)

How au!Ranboo and au!Purpled met:

So basically during lunch Purpled just saw Ranboo sitting with Tommy and Tubbo and was like, “Who is this?” so Ranboo introduced themself to him and then the whole group just kinda became a group of four after that

How the band formed:

So Junior year, June 29, Ranboo was like “Let’s start a band”, and then the three of them were like “hell yeah”, so they started like – talking about what they should name their band and then eventually agreed on “EXTRAterrestrial”, they started making songs and covers in Tommy’s garage

How au!Ranboo and au!Tubbo started dating:

Ranboo already knew they had a crush on Tubbo in Sophomore year, and Tubbo was in denial about his feelings for Ranboo since Junior year BUT in Senior year Tubbo was the one who confessed first after Tommy and Purpled convinced him to

• au!Tommy had a band with au!Wilbur and au!Techno before leaving the band for the current band they’re in
• au!Tubbo knew how to make self-defense weapons at the age of 13
• au!Purpled LOVES astronomy and learning a lot about it
• au!Ranboo had an emo phase before and their moms were like "TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN"

Appearances:

Tommy has blonde hair that's braided on the back, and blue eyes, and pale skin that's VERY slightly tanned. He also wears an allium themed hairclip and a purple star hairclip, he has red glasses frames, wars a green bandana on his neck, and red gloves with spiked bracelets on them, except make the spikes red, he also wears his usual red and white shirt, and has a blue jacket tied to his waist, and green shoes that reach up to his knees.

Tubbo has short brown hair but he bleached the ends to make them blonde, has heterochromia with his left eye being blue and his right eye being amber, and has white skin. He wears a white flower crown, and wears a brown jacket with fur and his left sleeve rolled up, and a sage green button-up shirt underneath, and the right side of his jeans are ripped. He wears black boots and a black and green studded belt, and a red bandana.

Purpled has short blonde hair with the ends dyed purple, he wears purple colored eye contacts (but his natural eye color is gray), with white skin with a slight tan. He has some purple colored star hairclips and a black clip keeping his bands out of his face, he also wears a purple hoodie and some slightly baggy black jeans, his shoes are also purple and his leg warmers are also purple.

Ranboo has black hair with the ends dyed white with their hair half-tied up, his left eye is green on the left with green eyeshadow, and brown on the right with white fake lashes and red eyeshadow, they have vitiligo and also has stahl's ear. He wears a black jacket, and a white shirt under, they also have a bright red tie and an allium themed hairclip on his head, they also have pastel blue and purple headphones, and a spiked armband on their left arm and a checkered black and white armband on his right arm. They wear a black glove on the left and a white glove on the right, and wears a black and white gas mask covering half of his face and shades covering his eyes. They wear black ripped jeans and black boots with an anklet. And they have a crown on their head that they made from paper with a purple star in the center of that crown.

They’re called that because that’s what their trio is actually called and I don’t like them or their characters enough to actually deciding on a new band name

The most popular band in the AU since the MOMENT you mention Dream SMP they most likely think about either the controversy or Dream himself

Background

How au!Sapnap and au!Dream met:

They were childhood friends because their moms were friends with each other so like they were basically friends since birth.

How au!George met au!Dream and au!Sapnap:

They met through a mutual friend (Bad), at first Dream and Sapnap were only online friends with George but then eventually George flies to their country and they live together

How the band formed:

After a week of George living with them Dream told George and Sapnap about his little music career and then they eventually decided to form a band called “Dream Team” with the lead vocalist being Dream

How au!George and au!Dream started dating:

So after a few months, Dream was just gushing to Sapnap about how much he loves George, who overhears, and then like after a few days of being in denial, he swallows his pride and goes to confess to Dream

Fun facts about each of them

• Dream was a music artist before but was SHIT at making lyrics to the point where his sister had to help him
• Sapnap once started a fire in the kitchen when he first moved in with Dream and is now BANNED from entering that place
• George’s bedroom is so badly decorated that Sapnap added a “WARNING” sign on it due to how painfully bright the colors are

Appearances:

Dream has shoulder-length blonde hair with the ends dyed green, he has green eyes, and pale skin. He wears a green jacket that has a hood, and a black cropped-top under, with ripped jeans and dark green boots. (He already did a face reveal in AU)

George has short brown hair, brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin. He wears a blue shirt with a white rectangle with a thick red outline, green bracelets on his left arm, and a black fingerless fishnet glove on his left. He wears shades that have white circular frames, he also wears jeans and black shoes.

Sapnap has short black hair and dark brown eyes, and tanned skin, also he has a shaved beard. He wears a white shirt with a flame print on it, and some black pants with one white vertical stripe. He has a white bandana wrapped around his head and black shoes and he wears long fingerless black gloves.
