Chapter Text

"Bloody Hell"

Spencer overslept.

His alarm hadn't rung, so now he was running super late. Just great.

Spencer sprang out of bed. He wasn't going to let that dreaded alarm stop him. He would make a good impression on his new students no matter what!

Spencer dashed into the bathroom to rapidly shower and freshen up. Once freshened, he dumped his wet towel into the hamper, put on his newly dry-cleaned suit and grabbed his briefcase.

According to his wristwatch, Spencer didn't even have time to grab a quick breakfast. So instead, he grabbed his house keys and phone, left his apartment, exited the complex and RAN.

"Oh no!"

Logan was late. Like, really, really late.
It seems he accidentally slept through the alarm he set.

He jumped out of his bed and ran right into the bathroom. He was mentally admonishing himself in the midst of his quick shower.

How could he wake up so late! And on his first day at the new place no less!

Richard had pulled so many strings to get him this gig. And there ain't no way Logan was going to let it go to waste!

Logan rapidly left the shower, brushed his teeth, dumped his towel and invaded his bedroom to put on his uniform.

He then grabbed his wallet, phone and house keys, bit into an apple he grabbed from his fruit bowl, left his house and RAN.

Spencer was huffing and puffing, exhausted from running. He was glad that he reached the streetlight pedestrian crossing.

As the light was red, Spencer was able to stand for a few seconds to catch his breath.

'Blimey, it sure is crowded today. I wish i woke up a bit earlier so that I could atleast call a taxi...'

Spencer looked at his wristwatch and happily realised he could make it to his classroom just in the nick of time. The college campus wasn't too far off now, thankfully.

And boy was he excited, he absolutely loved the feeling of teaching mathematics to fresh faces early in the morning.

He was insanely thankful to his dear friend and colleague, fellow professor Diego, who helped him acquire a job at this prestigious university.

Once Spencer had finally caught his breath, the pedestrian crossing light changed from red to green, signifying that it was safe for pedestrians to cross. Spencer began to walk briskly amongst the enormous crowd moving across the road.

However, as soon as he reached the middle of the big city road, he felt a huge pang of pressure inside his body. Spencer stopped for a moment but moved again almost instantly as the crowd was being very pushy.

'Huh? What was that feeling just now? It was incredibly strong...'

As he was walking, Spencer looked around his surroundings, feeling like he was missing something important.

However, as he was looking around, he suddenly noticed the clocktower. His eyes widened as soon as he saw the clock on it. He then instantly checked his wristwatch again. His wristwatch was fifteen minutes slower than the actual time!

'First my alarm and now my wristwatch too?? Fucking hell'

Turns out Spencer unfortunately was still running late after all. Thus, he dropped all thoughts of his inner body pressure and proceeded running again towards his workplace.

'I'm sure it's nothing' Spencer thought to himself, although not too confidently as the intense pressure was still present inside him.

Logan was at the pedestrian crossing. Even though he ran all the way from his house, he didn't feel particularly exhausted. In fact, he was excited and full of energy!

Today, he was starting his new job at...the most famous water park in the entire world!!!

This water park is known to always be fully packed with customers, even during Winter as the park is located inside a massive dome that perfectly regulates and controls the temperature.

Logan was so lucky to get this job. Not only was it incredibly high-paying, but he'll also get to continue focusing on his passion as his career, swimming!

Logan was insanely thankful that Richard's husband was great friends with the CEO of the water park. Otherwise, Logan would have had fierce competition.

Like, even though Logan was an olympic swimmer, which gave him all the proper qualifications to get this job on his own merits.

Natalia had told him this park was infamous for turning away even the most perfect of applicants. Their standards were that high...

Once he arrived at the park, Richard told him to tell the employees there that he had an appointment with Marissa, who would be his supervisor and mentor.

Funnily enough, Logan already knew Marissa as she was the wife and soulmate of one of his dearest friends, who also happened to be a highly famous model, Anastasia.

The fact that Logan got to work at this park with the soulmate of one of his dearests friends made him even more excited.

'Today is going to be a freaking great day!'

Logan looked up at the clocktower. Thanks to his fast running, he thankfully wasn't late anymore.

Once the pedestrian crossing light turned from red to green, Logan began walking joyfully across the road.

But as soon as he reached the middle of the road, he suddenly felt a massive pulse of pressure inside his body.

'Damn, why do i suddenly feel weird?'

As Logan was walking, he looked at his surroundings. But things were just too busy and there was just waaaay too many people to notice anything out of the ordinary.

So Logan continued walking, still feeling uneasy. Once he reached the other side of the road, Logan concluded that he must have overdone it with his feelings of excitement for his new job.

Logan decided that all he needed to do was cool off and enjoy a nice, relaxing walk to his new workplace. As he still had some time left before he was scheduled to start, he decided he may as well get something to drink from a nearby cafe.

'Maybe a nice drink will calm me down'

Hence, Logan proceeded walking towards the cafe in hopes of cooling down a bit, despite feeling like he was missing something important...

'Thank god that went well'

Spencer had made it in time for his class! Not only that, he was able to teach his new students with great ease AND leave them with a great impression.

What a wonderful way to start the day!
Although things did start off rocky, Spencer was able to make everything work out.

Spencer did still feel a pressure in his body though. Thankfully, the pressure didn't hurt.

Actually, the pressure felt rather pleasant, albeit a tad overwhelming.

The pressure also left him with a strange sense of longing...

After some thought, Spencer thought the pressure must have been a strange symptom from the stress he was feeling this morning.

He decided to just power through with this feeling today. But tomorrow, if he still felt the same, he might just consult a doctor.

Currently, Spencer was walking towards the professor's lounge. He had already taught five classes today. All he needed to do now was grade some tests, then he could start heading home after.

Once Spencer entered the lounge, he noticed that Diego, the biology and environmental studies professor, was on his break too.

Spencer approached his friend to greet him.

"Good evening Diego, how has your day been?"

"Hola Spencer, I have been good thank you. How about you?"

"Fine, thank you for asking. Just another busy day teaching the beauty know as mathematics"

Diego chuckled

"That's nice to hear. Although, i honestly cannot understand how you enjoy teaching mathematics every single day. Sounds boring..."

"Ah, that's cause you never had someone to truly show you it's beauty. I can try showing you myself if you'd like"

"Gracias por la oferta, but I think i'll pass, thanks"

"Oh well, let me know if you ever change your mind"

Spencer then gave a cheeky grin

"By the way, how is your beloved? You two lovebirds do anything exciting lately?"

Diego blushed

"Well actually, mi amado proposed to me last weekend"

Spencer's eyes widened with excitement.

"Wow Diego!! Congratulations!!!"

Diego's blush deepened. He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly with his right hand.

"Haha, thanks Spencer"

"Soooo~ when is the wedding!?" Spencer asked excitedly

Diego replied

"Honestly, we haven't really decided on anything just yet. We've really only just been going with the flow so far. So no official date has been chosen"

"I understand. It's a lot to process. But still, I hope you two won't wait too long. You two are just so good together! and literally all of us have been excited for the day you two became officially married"

"Oh come now, my wedding is not something to be that excited for"

"Oh no my dear lad, it will definitely be the most exciting event of the decade. Ivy will especially be excited. She's been waiting for you two to become actual husbands since day one"

Diego blushed again

"Husbands? Yes, that's right. I am going to be a husband... My dreams are finally becoming a reality!" Diego said joyfully

Spencer smiled warmly

"Indeed they are. And no one deserves this more than you. I still remember the day you two officially met. What a crazy time that was"

Diego blushed from embarrassment

"Oh no, do we really need to remember that story again. It's so embarrassing..."

"Come on Diego, it's both romantic and incredibly funny. Plus, it's not like it only ever happened to you two. Practically half the modern world misses their first encounter with their soulmate and ends up in the same situation. Heck, it even happened to Jade, and she's always so attentive too"

Still feeling embarrassed, Diego replied

"That's true, but it's still embarrassing to think about. Everything was so crazy when it happened"

"Hmm... I guess that does sound exhausting...do you wish it didn't happen that way?"

"Well no, it was literally the best thing that has ever happened to me. It's just that I still get incredibly shy when i remember back to those times..."

"I understand Diego, but it's been two years since then. Now is the perfect time to start thinking back to those memories more fondly"

"That's true I guess..."

Diego turned away. He eyed the stack of papers on Spencer's desk.

"You doing a bit of examination marking before you finish for the day?"

Spencer replied whilst walking towards his desk.

"Yep, that's the plan. Please make sure to tell me if you need any help with the wedding, it would be my absolute pleasure to help in any way possible"

"Gracias mi amigo"

As Spencer was walking towards his desk, he suddenly felt incredibly woozy. The pressure inside him just got super massive for some reason. He quickly went to take a seat at his desk before he fell over from this intense feeling

"Spencer, are you okay? You suddenly turned pale there" Diego asked worriedly

"I...honestly, I'm not sure. I felt this huge pressure in my body when I was walking to work this morning. Ever since then, it's just been getting more and more powerful"

Diego's eyes widened from shock. He then nervously asked

"Sp-Spencer, this pressure, does it feel pleasant or unpleasant?"

Spencer replied

"Well actually, it's more on the pleasant side, although incredibly overwhelming. Damn..."

Spencer just felt another spasm of intense, pleasurable pressure.

"And how long has it been since you felt this pressure begin?"

"Like eight hours maybe? Why all these questions Diego?

Diego continued asking

"Spencer, did you notice anyone on your way to work this morning? Anyone special at all??"

"N-no, i don't think so. It was so crowded in the morning, so no one particularly caught my eye. Why do you ask?"

Diego took a deep breath

"Spencer, i'm going to need you to stay calm..."

Spencer was not liking the sound of this

Diego proceeded

"But...I think you missed your first encounter with your own soulmate today"

Spencer suddenly straightened his back quickly on his chair and stared wide-eyed at Diego.

"Wait, what?!"

"And that's not all. I fear that same process has started for you and this other person. And it's almost complete too..."

Spencer barely had any time to comprehend all that was happening

"Wh-what? How can this be?? The process already began?? and it's already almost complete too?! I-I'm not ready! I need to make some preparations! I need more time! I-"

Spencer was starting to panic, but Diego suddenly grabbed him by the shoulders

"Don't worry my friend, I'll be here to take care of things. You just relax and let things happen naturally"

"B-but-"

"Ah! ah! ah! no buts. You relax. Everything is going to be alright. This is a joyous occasion. You still have your phone on you, right? Have you memorized your phone number?"

Spencer nodded

"Then everything will be alright. Believe me, I have been through this same exact experience. Everything will be just fine"

Spencer still felt worried, but he trusted Diego.

The intense pressure suddenly started making Spencer doze off.

"I-i don't know why. But, i suddenly feel so drowsy for some reason..."

Diego placed a pillow from the lounge sofa on top of Spencer's desk

He then reassured him

"That's ok, my friend. That's perfectly normal. Here, just lay your head on this pillow and allow yourself to fall into a peaceful slumber. I'll take care of things when you open your eyes again"

Diego gave Spencer a friendly wink.

Spencer decided to heed Diego's advice. He laid his head on the pillow.

Not long after, his sight was starting to get foggier and foggier. Eventually, Spencer closed his eyes and fell into a comforting slumber.

"Dulces sueños mi amigo..."

'Today was so much fun!'

Logan had the most amazing first day of work, EVER

Once he arrived at the massive water park in the morning, he was instantly escorted to Marissa.

It seems she was excited to work with him too.

She gave him the grand tour of the entire water park. And it was INSANE

There were so many massive pools and so many amazing water rides too!

And the park was completely packed with guests too, which makes sense.

After all, people came from all over the world to experience this magical, water-filled place.

Logan felt incredibly fulfilled. He had so much fun working today.

Marissa assigned him to work as a host for one of the amazing water performances they held at the park.

The swimmers were all mesmerizing in their water performance.

They were all so creative and artistic in the ways they did their swimming synchronization.

Logan thought for sure that his best bro, Allessio, would've loved to see this.

Logan also wished his dear friend and older sister figure, Natalia, could see this too.

Funnily enough, Alessio & Natalia also happened to be each other's soulmates.

They first officially met each other at one of Logan's birthday parties.

Logan remembered being so insanely excited when he discovered two of his best friends were each other's soulmate.

The fact that they met each other because of him garnered Logan the nickname of 'cupid' from the both of them.

Anyhow, once the final show of the day had concluded, Logan headed straight towards the staff room.

His shift was technically over now. But, he wanted to say goodbye to Marissa before he headed home.

After a few minutes of waiting, Marissa finally appeared.

"Hey Logan, I hope you had a fun first day"

"Hey Marissa! Today was definitely so much fun! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity!"

Marissa chuckled

"My pleasure. By the way, Anastasia and I are hosting a dinner party on Saturday at seven. We would love it if you could come along"

"Sure thing Marissa! I would love to join you guys. I'll make sure to bring some of my mom's world famous apple pies too~”

Marissa chuckled some more

"Great, sounds delicious! Anyways, you must be exhausted. Why don't you head on out. And I'll see you back here tomorrow morning"

"Sounds like a plan! See ya tomorrow~"

Logan was just about to head for the exit. But then, the pressure he felt in his body since this morning suddenly got WAAAAAY stronger.

Honestly, Logan had actually forgotten about the feeling due to all the fun and excitement he was experiencing.

Plus, the pressure, although powerful, felt nice. So it was easy for Logan to ignore, even though it made him feel strangely lonely…

Logan quickly sat down. Marissa noticed his rushed movement and asked if something was wrong.

"Is everything okay Logan? You look like you got hit by a truck"

"I...I think I'm alright. I don't know. There was this pressure I suddenly felt in my body while I was walking to work this morning. I was able to endure it the entire day. But, for some reason, the feeling just became super powerful just now..."

Marissa's eyes widened

"Logan, is this pressure painful?"

"Uhhh no, it actually feels kinda good, but man is it powerful…"

"Uh oh..."

"What? What is it?"

"Logan, did you notice anyone interesting on your way to work?"

"Uhhh, no one that I can think of. Why do you ask?"

"Well, the symptoms you're experiencing is actually pretty common and it generally has something to do with...your soulmate"

Logan's eyes widened intensely

"MY SOULMATE!?!?"

"Yes Logan, I think you may have accidentally missed your first encounter with your soulmate. The symptoms you explained corroborate perfectly with that particular circumstance"

"Then that means..."

"Yep, that process has begun. And since it has been some time now, I'd say that process is almost complete. Although, I personally don't know much about it as Anastasia and I never experienced that phenomena since we noticed each other right away…."

"Oh my god..."

Marissa noticed Logan's worried look and attempted to reassure him

"Don't worry Logan, just leave everything to me. I will take care of everything”

“But how?”

“Pssshh please Logan, a gazillion people have experienced the same thing you are going through right now. Plus, there are a dozen protocols in every workplace to help ensure this process goes smoothly”

"I guess that's true…”

Logan began to feel incredibly sleepy.

“Damn, this pressure is making me so tired. I can barely leave my eyes open…”

“Yeah, that’s normal. Here let me help you get somewhere comfortable”

Just then, Marissa picked Logan up with ease

Logan squawked

“Ma-Marissa! What are you doing?!”

“Relax Logan, just taking you to one of our larger, softer benches so that you can lay down comfortably”

Just then, Marissa gently laid Logan on said bench

“By the way Logan, do you have your phone number memorised? Or at least Richard’s or one of your family member’s?”

Logan nodded gently

“Excellent, then everything else should go A-OK”

Logan's vision started becoming foggier and foggier.

“I don't think I will be able to stay awake much longer…”

“That’s okay, you just let your body do its thing. I promise that I will take care of everything and that no harm comes to you. I swear on my life”

“Thanks Marissa…”

Feeling reassured and protected, Logan began to fall into a peaceful slumber.

He was so thankful Marissa was there with him. Otherwise he was certain he would’ve panicked immensely.

Finally, Logan had fallen deeply asleep.

Chapter Text

Spencer began to wake up. As he was opening his eyelids, he noticed that he was lying down on some kind of long, lightly cushioned seat of some kind.

As he regained his eyesight. He noticed he wasn't wearing his eyeglasses, but he could see clearly!

Slowly he got up and cautiously looked around. It seemed like he was in a room filled with lockers and benches.

Spencer rubbed the back of his head groggily as he put his feet down from the bench and onto the floor

‘...where am I?’

Just then, someone opened the door to the room he was in and entered inside.

It was a beautiful African-American woman with amazing braids who seemed like a bodybuilder of some kind. Spencer began to wonder if he was at a gym.

The woman looked up at him and was surprised to see him awake.

“Oh, hello…”

“Hi…”

The lady seemed to get a tad bit shy

“Umm, ok this is really awkward…”

Spencer couldn't agree more

“So ok, let me get things started. Hi, my name is Marissa. I’m a good friend and colleague of the owner of the body you are currently occupying. I know this whole situation is a lot to process, although I personally cannot relate to what you are going through…”

Spencer tried to comprehend the information she was presenting to him

‘Huh? The owner of the body I'm occupying? What is she talking abou-’

Just then Spencer remembered everything. He remembered he was in the professor's lounge with Diego. He was congratulating his friend on his proposal from his destined husband.

Afterwards, when he walked towards his desk, he felt maximum pressure inside his body. Diego then informed him that he must have missed his soulmate, hence Spencer’s and his soulmate's natural reunification process began.

And that’s when he fell asleep…and eventually woke up here.

‘Oh, so that’s why I am here…’

Marissa continued

“So anyway, please don't worry, you are completely safe here. Currently, you are at the famous domed water park, which is where your soulmate recently started working. If you have any questions or need any help or anything at all, please let me know. Would you like a cup of water…uh…sorry, what should I call you again?”

Spencer looked up at her and tried his best to reply

“Oh right. Yes, please forgive my absent-mindedness. My name is Spencer. It's a pleasure to meet you…Marissa, was it?”

Marissa was surprised and delighted. It seemed like the casual, carefree Logan got someone well-articulated and polite for his soulmate.

Although the person in front of her still had Logan’s accent and voice, she had a hunch that the man was British.

“That's right, nice to meet you Spencer. Please, have some lemon-infused water, it'll help refreshen your body and mind”

Marissa handed Spencer a cup

Spencer took it graciously

“Thank you Marissa, much obliged”

Spencer started off with a sip, but then gulped the entire thing down. He was really thirsty for some reason and the water was incredibly refreshing.

Marissa chuckled

“You must've been really thirsty”

Spencer became sheepish

“Heh heh, yeah. I apologise for my unsightly drinking behaviour”

“No, no. Please don't apologise. I imagine this whole soulmate bodyswap phenomena must take an incredible toll on both of your bodies. So please, feel comfortable doing whatever makes you feel comfortable”

“Thank you. I appreciate your understanding”

Spencer placed the cup he drank from beside him on the bench. The next few moments both Spencer & Marissa fell into a comfortable silence before Marissa decided to explain the current circumstances.

“So I explained the situation to our…er…my boss. And he says everything is already taken care of. Your soulmate will be getting six weeks of mandatory paid leave to go be with you and process everything, as required by the law”

Spencer nodded in understanding

“So, let me just go get your soulmate's things and then we'll get you guys to officially meet”

Marissa got up to get Spencer’s soulmate’s belongings.

Before she left, Spencer had one question he wanted to ask

“Oh wait, may I ask you something please?”

Marissa turned back towards him

“Mmmhmm”

Shyly, Spencer asked

“My soulmate…what's their name?”

Marissa gave him a warm smile

“His name is Logan”

Marissa then gave him a friendly wink and left the room

‘Logan…’

Spencer began to feel his heart and stomach fill up with butterflies. For some reason hearing his soulmate's name filled him with euphoric joy.

Just then, Spencer noticed a long mirror that was stationed beside one of the lockers. Tentatively, Spencer got up from the bench and walked in front of the mirror.

What he saw made him blush intensely

He noticed his incredibly handsome face with the stubbly beard.

He had beautiful, orange hair that was styled to perfection

He was wearing a uniform, which Spencer concluded was for the water park he was currently at

Said uniform was covering an incredibly handsome and jacked body that had incredible muscles to boot.

Spencer let out an impulsive wolf whistle. Oh boy was his soulmate's body incredibly manly.

Was his soulmate also a male model or something??

‘Holy fucking shit! This Logan fellow is super fucking hot! I've hit the bloody jackpot!’

Spencer went back to the bench and took a seat.

He felt insanely proud of having such a handsome soulmate. Not that looks really mattered to Spencer. He was a man that truly valued personality over everything else. But damn, these looks were definitely a bonus.

Spencer also felt kinda embarrassed for acting like a drooling monkey at the first sight of Logan’s body.

Currently, Spencer was trying to calm down his rapidly beating heart. Looking at Logan for the first time filled him with infinitely intense emotions and desires.

He was beginning to feel shy as well

‘I wonder what the lad will think of me? I hope I am not too much of a disappointment to him…'

While waiting for Marissa, Spencer began wondering how his first official meeting with Logan would go.

Chapter Text

"Yes mister ice cream dude, i would absolutely LOVE eleven scoops of ice cream please..."

Logan was currently in the midst of a nice dream.

The ice cream man made of fluffy cotton candy gave him a massive cone filled with amazing neon coloured ice creams.

Logan was so giddy! He took the cone in his hands and gave an enormous lick.

"Delicious!" He exclaimed

Said exclamation was so strong, that Logan had said it outside his dream too

Consequently, this influenced the dream to softly come to its conclusion, whilst simultaneously stirring Logan to slowly awaken from his peaceful slumber.

Indeed, Logan was definitely awakening. He began to open his eyes slowly and groggily. He could feel a pillow underneath his right cheeck. It felt like he was sleeping at a desk of some kind.

He also felt something across his eyes and past his ears.

'Huh? why are there glasses on my face?'

Logan lifted his head from his pillow whilst taking the glasses off and rubbing the grogginess out of his eyes.

As soon as he was done, he opened his eyes for real to check his surroundings.

"Oh shit! I can't see anything!"

Logan's vision was rather blurry. Since when did his eyesight get like this!?

Logan then remembered the glasses and put them on immediately

"Ah, that's better"

Thankfully, Logan had fully regained his vision.

He was finally able to check his surroundings. He was in a massive room filled with many mahogony desks that were stacked with papers and office equipment.

There was also a small kitchenette that had a coffee machine with a bunch of cups being left in a cupboard

'Where am I?'

Just then, Logan heard two men coming into the room.

"So glad everything's been taken care of"

"Si, I am also glad we have all these protocols to make sure everything goes smoothly"

"Yeah, thank god!"

Just then, the two men noticed Logan awake at the desk he was sitting at.

They both looked delighted.

"Well howdy" a tall, dark and handsome Arab man greeted him.

A handsome, hunky Latino man also cheeckily greeted him.

"Hola dormilón, I hope you had a pleasant dream~"

Logan did his best to reply without seeming too shy

"H-hi there. My name's Logan. You guys wouldn't happen to know where I am or what I'm doing here, would you?"

Both men chuckled

"Nice to meet you Logan, my name is Diego and this gentleman here is Zaid"

"Hey there Logan, nice to meet you!"

Logan gave them a sincere smile. These men seemed nice.

"As for what you are doing here mi amigo, you see, you are currently occupying the body of our friend and colleague. He is your soulmate"

'Soulmate???'

That's when Logan suddenly remembered everything. He was in the water park's staff room when he suddenly felt a massive pressure.

Marissa told him that he must have accidentally missed his first encounter with his soulmate.

Hence, the natural process of reunification most likely began in his and his soulmate's bodies.

The last thing Logan remembers is falling asleep while being reassured by Marissa. He would have to thank her for that the next time he sees her.

"Oh right, my soulmate..."

Diego continued

"That's right my friend. Currently, you are at the massive college campus that is found right down the street from the national museum of architecture as well as the city library. You know where that is, right?"

Logan nodded. The museum and library were super popular places within this city, after all.

"As for why you woke up here specifically. Well, your soulmate happens to be the Advanced Mathematics professor at this prestigious university. Zaid & I are professors here too. He teaches home economics, whilst I teach biology and environmental studies"

Logan tried absorbing all this information as best as he could.

'Professor of mathematics, huh? That's pretty cool'

"Anyhow, I just want you to know that Zaid & I have taken care of everything. Our dean knows of your bodyswap situation and has granted your soulmate six weeks of paid leave. You two will be able to get well-acquainted within that time. Are there any questions you would like to ask us?"

Logan pondered, there was one thing he desperately did want to know.

"My soulmate, what's their name?"

Diego and Zaid both looked at each other excitedly before turning back to him

They both said in unison

"His name is Spencer!"

'Spencer...'

Hearing that name filled Logan with an intense euphoric feeling and a great sense of longing.

'I hope I get to meet this guy soon...'

Zaid then interrupted Logan's train of thought to ask if he wanted something to drink.

"I just prepared some super delicious strawberry lemonade. It's my mother's secret recipe. My wife Ivy absolutely loves this stuff. I could get you a big cup if you're willing"

Logan definitely could not pass up the offer to try some delicious lemonade

He agreed to Zaid's offer with great alacrity

"Dude, yes please! That sounds freaking delicious!"

Both Zaid & Diego giggled. It seemed Logan was someone who was super easy and fun to get along with. It was also funny to hear him use casual dudebro language, especially using Spencer's naturally fancy English accent.

Zaid left to get him that delicious lemonade.

"While Zaid gets you your drink. Why don't you quickly freshen up a bit. We can prepare for you to meet with Spencer afterwards"

"Sounds like a good plan to me, thanks Diego"

"My pleasure, mi amigo. The bathroom is just outside the professor's lounge and to the door on the left side. Why not take this chance to...really get to know yourself"

Diego gave Logan a cheeky wink.

Logan blushed. He knew what Diego meant. And truthfully, Logan was indeed insanely curious. What did his soulmate look like???

"Uhh yeah...going to the bathroom sounds like a good idea. I'll be back in just a sec"

Diego chuckled

"Take your time bro. I'll be here marking some exams in the meantime. Holler if you need anything"

"Thanks bro"

Diego went to sit down at his own desk.

Logan promptly exited the lounge and headed straight for the men's bathroom.

As soon as he entered, he noticed he was the only one inside. He was glad because he actually wanted some privacy for this moment.

Slowly, Logan began walking in front of one of the bathroom taps that had a mirror placed above it. He kept his gaze downwards so as to not see his own face right away.

Once he was in front of said sink. Logan began to build up the courage to look up at his soulmate for the first time. Boy was he nervous and incredibly excited.

'I'll do it on the count of three. One, two, THREE!'

Logan looked up

And what he saw left him downright flabbergasted

What he saw was an insanely handsome and eloquent looking man.

He had an incredibly handsome face, like some kind of European royalty that gave off super sexy bad boy vibes. The stylish glasses complimented the sexy face quite well too.

Logan absolutely loved the amazing black hair styled magnificently, it reminded him of a hot European knight with shining armour from one of those fancy fantasy movies.

He was also wearing a rather fancy suit too, which made him seem like a posh fancy guy. His appearance also slightly gave off an academic and nerdy aura, which Logan found endearing.

Logan noticed this body wasn't as muscular as his own body. But that did not deter him at all.

Just looking at his own reflection left Logan KNOWING that the rest of this body was incredibly manly, twunky and handsome too.

'Holy fuck...I am...genuinely the luckiest man alive!! This handsome heartthrob is MY soulmate?!! FUCK YES'

Like Spencer, looks didn't necassarily matter to Logan either. But, needless to say, he was OVERJOYED with what he saw.

Logan continued observing himself a couple minutes longer whilst flexing and giving some sexy poses.

He just couldn't look away! Looking at Spencer filled Logan with insanely strong feelings and desires.

As he was admiring his new body, Logan suddenly remembered that Zaid had left to go get him some lemonade.

He realised he better go quickly too before it seems like he was gone for a super suspicious amount of time.

Thus, Logan promptly exited the bathroom. He was excited to try some of Zaid's delicious strawberry lemonade. After all, he was feeling especially thirsty right now (*cough* in both senses of the word *cough*).

Once Logan finally returned to the professor's lounge room, all three men downed a massive cup of the awesome smelling, beyond fruity lemonade. AND. IT. WAS. SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

Logan couldn't help but smile widely, he was feeling especially blessed today. He was insanely thankful that his soulmate had amazing friends like Diego & Zaid. Both men were super friendly and infinitely helpful.

Now, all that was left for Logan to do was to go out and actually meet Spencer.

Logan did feel a bit shy. But honestly, he was mostly just excited.

"Here you go Spencer, thanks for waiting"

Marissa re-entered the staff room where Spencer was remaining.

She approached Spencer and held out a phone, a wallet and some keys.

Spencer, who was still sitting on the bench pondering, carefully took the belongings from her hand.

"Sorry about that. For new employees at the park, we have a strict policy where they must keep ALL their belongings, including phones, in a separate locker room that we keep locked. That way, new employees are guaranteed to focus on their new job and training. This initiation procedure normally lasts about two weeks before employees can start keeping their phones and wallets on them at the job"

Spencer nodded in understanding.

Marissa then took a seat next to Spencer and took out her phone.

"Ok, now that you finally have Logan's things, we can finally try contacting him and get things rolling! Ain't this exciting!"

Marissa was getting incredibly excited. She couldn't wait for Logan to finally meet the destined love of his life.

Which is funny, cause before Marissa met Anastasia, she felt skeptical of the idea of being destined for one, singular person.

In fact, Marissa always hated how it seemed like they were puppets who had no control over who their destined ones are.

Like, why should some weird, unexplainable phenomena decide who their soulmate is?

That decision should be up to the people themselves! People should be able to have the choice of exploring and experience being with different people to eventually find their one true love themselves.

That's truly what Marissa used to believe when she was younger.

However, after meeting dozens of people before she finally met Anastasia, Marissa found some understanding.

The fact is, it's true. People can actually get together with people who are not their soulmates and have a perfect, loving relationship. They can even start a family and live an infinitely blissful and loving life with a non-soulmate partner until the day they die.

However, there's just something special about an actual soulmate...

It's not really explainable or discernible. But, no matter how insanely small the feeling is, there definitely is something special there that you just really can't find the heart to ignore...

Yes, soulmates may decide to part ways, even after meeting each other or even after returning to their own bodies after experiencing the reunification phenomena.

However, that almost never happens. That special something, which is ONLY provided by your destined soulmate, just really makes you feel alive!

It feels like a personal, precious treasure that was created for you and you alone. Said treasure also happens to have the potential to bring you infinite amounts of happiness.

And honestly, what would you choose?

Would you choose with your free will to let go of this super special source of incredible happiness just to prove you are not a puppet?

Or, would you choose to just embrace the special happiness and be thankful that you are able to experience this unexplainable personalised euphoria?

After meeting Anastasia, Marissa ultimately decided she would rather have the latter.

Even though Marissa knew she could definitely also find happiness with someone other than Anastasia. Marissa felt deep down she would rather have that special euphoric feeling that only Anastasia personally was always able to fill her with.

And honestly, Anastasia always made Marissa excited to be alive. She absolutely loved everything about her. She still remembers when their paths first crossed at one of the beautiful beaches in Australia.

Ever since then, Marissa was beyond excited for each new day she would experience with the love of her life.

And, she strongly hopes Logan and all other soulmates of the world find their infinite happiness too.

That's why she was now excited to help Spencer find Logan

"So, I doubt you would know the passcode to Logan's phone. So, we can just use my phone to try and contact him instead. I'm pretty sure he must have woken up around the same time you did. Do you have your phone number memorized by the way?"

Spencer nodded and replied happily

"Definitely, all memorised!"

Spencer then proceeded to put Logan's belongings into his pockets

"Excellent! Here's my phone. Just input your number and call when you feel ready"

"Thank you so much Marissa, your help has been absolutely invaluable to me. I am forever indebted to you"

Marissa giggled and gave a strong pat to Logan...er...Spencer's back.

"Now, now, there's no need for that kind of talk. You don't owe me anything. Friends should always help each other when they are in need. And I would be absolutely happy if I could be your friend too"

Spencer smiled warmly

"Thank you, I would be absolutely honored to be friends with an amazing person like you"

Marissa gave Spencer a warm smile

"Thanks! I feel exactly the same. Now, let's get things going!~"

Marissa handed Spencer her phone, which Spencer took graciously.

He began to dial in his own phone number.

He felt nervous. What if Logan didn't like him? What if Logan was hoping for someone better?

These thoughts kept occurring in Spencer's mind. However, Spencer knew he couldn't let these thoughts deter him.

The fates had chosen Him & Logan for each other for a reason!

That's what Spencer truly believed!

Plus, Spencer couldn't help but feel this super intense excitement inside his body.

Ultimately, he knew what this excitement meant:
He wants to meet Logan!!!

Thus, Spencer shoved away all doubtful thoughts and only kept this powerful feeling of his in mind.

He continued dialling in his number onto Marissa's phone.

After pressing the final buttons, Spencer's number was finally fully inputted onto Marissa's phone.

All he had to do now was call...

Spencer gave a nervous gulp.

Marissa noticed his nervousness and encouraged him.

"Don't worry, you got this! You are going to absolutely LOVE him. And I'm not just saying this because he's your soulmate either. Logan is literally like the world's most cutest puppy with the most loving heart in the whole entire universe. I just know that he is going to ADORE you"

Hearing Marissa describe Logan this way absolutely melted Spencer's own heart.

His excitement just skyrocketed to the extreme, relieving him of all his inhibitions.

"Fuck it, here we go!"

"Oh. My. God. YUUUUUUUM. Holy shit Zaid, that lemonade is insane! I would literally buy BARRELS of this stuff if you would let me"

"Logan is right Zaid, you should honestly think about opening up a cafe or something. I would actually drag my fiancé there with me Every. Single. Day. Your drinks are just too good not to share! I wonder what your version of Aguapanela would taste like..."

Zaid blushed deeply

"Awww thanks guys, i'm so glad that you both enjoyed it. Honestly, Ivy has also been saying that I would do really well if I sold my drinks. I guess it's something i should consider. As for that Aguapanela Diego, I'll make sure to make you a big jug full tomorrow~"

Zaid gave Diego a wink

Diego smiled excitedly

"Gracias amigo!"

Logan was incredibly moved. Zaid's and Diego's bromance was honestly the stuff of legends.

Logan made a resolution that he would also try and become best friends with them too!

While Diego & Zaid were having fun chatting, Logan got up from his seat.

Logan took his emptied lemonade cup to the kitchenette sink. As there was cleaning equipment available, Logan also proceeded to wash his cup with a bit of dishwashing liquid detergent and a sponge too. He hated leaving a mess for others to clean.

Whilst washing his cup, he couldn't help but be in awe at how amazing Spencer's friends/colleagues were...

'Oh right! Spencer! I should try contacting him now, I hope he will like me...'

Logan placed his freshly washed cup in the cupboard with the other cups.

He then returned back to where Zaid & Diego were sitting.

"Hey guys, thanks so much for welcoming me here. You guys are literally the coolest!"

"All good, amigo. It's our absolute pleasure"

"Yeah all good bro, you've been super cool!"

Logan smiled

"Thanks guys. I think I'm finally ready to get in touch with Spencer"

"Excellent idea! Here, let me get you his things"

Diego proceeded to head towards the desk that Logan awoke from earlier. From underneath the desk, he retrieved a fancy briefcase.

'Oooooo~ How classy' Logan thought

Diego then proceeded to hand Logan the briefcase.

"Here you are my friend. I'm pretty sure Spencer keeps all his things in there, including his phone i believe. I think I remember him saying he likes to keep it there so it wouldn't distract him from 'the beauty of mathematics' or something..."

Logan resisted the urge to laugh. Spencer sounded like such a funny person.

"You want to check the briefcase to see if everything is all good?" Zaid asked.

Logan nodded

He opened the briefcase, and all seemed good. There was some documents, a wallet, some keys, and like Diego had said, Spencer's phone.

Logan picked the phone up. Unfortunately, Logan guessed the phone would be locked with a passcode, so he personally wouldn't be able to use it to contact Spencer.

"Yeah, I think the briefcase has everything Spencer needs. By the way, may I please borrow one of your guys' phones. I don't think I will be able to contact Spencer using his, i don't know his password"

Both Diego & Zaid were about to offer their own phones to Logan.

But just as they were about to give it to him, the phone in Logan's hand started ringing.

Logan panicked and almost dropped the phone.

"Oh! Someone's calling!"

"Quickly! Check the number!"

"Yes amigo, that might be Spencer!"

Logan quickly checked the number. It wasn't his own phone number, but it was incredibly familiar. That's when Logan realised it was Marissa's!

"It's my friend Marissa! She was there with me before I fell asleep and woke up here!"

Diego & Zaid were getting filled with gleeful excitement

"Go on, pick it up!"
They said in unison

Logan then looked back at the phone. He looked at the green phone symbol on the screen, which signifies the accepting of calls.

Instantaneously, Logan pressed the green symbol and rapidly put the phone to his ear.

"H-hello?" Logan greeted

Logan then proceeded to hear the sound of a voice that he has heard his entire life

"H-hi, i think i just heard my own body's voice just now...so...I'm guessing this is Logan I am speaking to... *cough* Anyhow, hello there good sir! My name is Spencer, and I am the man who is your soulmate. I am super excited to meet you!"

Logan felt his heart pounding deeply inside his chest

"Heya dude! Greetings! As you said, this is indeed your soulmate, Logan, speaking. And, I am insanely excited to meet you too!"

Logan didn't understand why, but he felt like he would just explode from happiness right then and there.

And while speaking to Spencer just now, for some reason, for the first time that day, Logan only JUST realised he was doing something that he didn't used to...

'HOLY SHIT, I'M SPEAKING WITH A BRITISH ACCENT!!!'

Spencer did it!

He finally spoke to Logan!

Hearing his own body's voice speaking words that he himself wasn't forming in his own mind was such a surreal experience. He honestly had to resist the urge to laugh from the craziness of it all.

'Holy shit, this is really happening...'

Spencer realised it was his turn to say something. But what was he supposed to say??

Spencer realised something unfortunate. He was so busy focusing on calling Logan and worrying about how the first contact would go, that he didn't actually plan on what he would ACTUALLY SAY to him.

Spencer's mind began to go into overdrive.

'Oh no, what the hell should I say???"

Marissa gave Spencer a gentle nudge, prompting him to speak.

"Aha, this sure is awkward. I guess we must of missed each other this morning..."

Spencer mentally facepalmed

'Good job Spencer. Way to state the obvious...'

"Ha ha, yeah man, I guess we did..."

"Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. I should have focused more..."

"No, no, please don't apologize dude. We were both distracted. Plus, today is literally one of the most happiest days of my life haha~"

Spencer's heart pounded passionately. A warm smile had spread across his face. Logan seemed like a super friendly guy.

"Likewise, today is officially one of my most favorite days ever too~" Spencer said sheepishly

Logan seemed touched

."Awww thanks dude! That's super sweet~"

"My pleasure~ Anyhow, how are you doing lad??? I hope everything is going okay on your end. I'm hoping things haven't been difficult..."

"Not at all! You should know, you have the absolute coolest friends EVER!!! Zaid & Diego are literally the best!!! They helped me so much with everything on this side and made me feel especially comfortable. They even gave me some delicious lemonade! It tasted AMAZING!!!"

Spencer smiled deeply. He was so happy that Logan seemed like he was enjoying himself.

Logan was absolutely right about Zaid & Diego. Thank god they were there when Logan woke up. They truly were the absolute best friends ever! Spencer resolved he would definitely make it up to them later.

"I'm so glad to hear that! Please tell them that Spencer says he is insanely grateful to them for their help. And tell them that he will definitely treat them to a really expensive dinner in the near future as a special thanks"

"Ha ha, for sure man! That's an amazing idea! I honestly want to treat them too! They deserve everything!"

Spencer was thankful that Logan felt the same.

Logan then proceeded to ask:

"And what about you Spence?? Have things been going okay on your side??"

Spencer blushed at the nickname and proceeded to reply

"Definitely! I must say that you have the world's most amazing friends too~ Marissa here has been an absolute godsend!! She has gone above and beyond in helping me get adjusted. Honestly, her help has been absolutely invaluable to me. She has been so incredibly encouraging and helpful. She even kindly gave me her phone so that I can contact you. So thankful she's here..."

Spencer turned to Marissa and smiled warmly

Marissa blushed and smiled back. She wasn't expecting to be complimented so vehemently.

"She also gave me some delicious lemon-infused mineral water. Helped hydrate me right away!"

"Bro, that's so cool! Looks like we both had some lemon related drink when we woke up"

"You know what... you're absolutely right! Wow, what a bloody coincidence..."

"I know right! Please tell Marissa that Logan says thanks for everything and that he owes her big time! Tell her that he will also bring over some super special cheesecakes, as well as some delicious apple pies, this upcoming Saturday"

Spencer chuckled

"That's very sweet of you~ I'll definitely make sure to tell her"

Spencer's heart was beating strongly with excitement. He was having so much fun speaking to Logan.

However, there was still so much he wanted to ask Logan, and so much he wanted to say.

'I wish he were in front of me...'

As if Logan somehow just read Spencer's mind, he then proceeded to say:

"You know Spencer, I think we should meet each other in person. It will be easier than talking on the phone all day"

Spencer couldn't agree more.

"I most assuredly concur. Where should we meet Logan?"

"Hmm, i know! Have you heard of Glacé's cafe?"

"Oh yes, it's that nice cafe in Hopeful Boulevard, correct?"

"Yeah dude! Let's meet each other there in an hour. According to this wristwatch, it's five now, so let's meet there around six"

"Good idea! Also, it's actually 5:15PM now. That wristwatch of mine is unfortunately fifteen minutes slower than the actual time. I unfortunately forgot to tune it up. Sorry about that..."

"Haha all good, let's meet around 6:15 then~"

"Sounds like a plan. Oh! And by the way Logan. The passcode to my phone is 1502. Please feel free to use it however you wish. We can swap our phones when we are finally together"

"Thanks man! My own phone's passcode is 0223. Please feel free to use it however you like too!"

"Thank you, I promise not to snoop."

"Haha, thanks man. I promise the same thing"

"Much obliged. I'm really glad I was able to speak to you Logan. I had lots of fun"

"Me too Spencer, me too. And I am so insanely excited to meet you in person! I can barely contain my excitement!"

"Haha, the feeling is mutual..."

Both men then fell into a very comfortable silence. Their hearts were pounding with great excitement. They were finally going to meet in person!

"You know what Spence, I think I will head out right now. I can't help it, I desperately want to see you..."

"Good idea! I'll head out too. I desperately want to be with you as well..."

Spencer couldn't help but blush a little from embarrassment. Oh boy, they both sure were acting like love-obsessed weirdos. But, it couldn't be helped...

"Cool! i'll be seeing you real soon then haha. Goodbye for now Spencer~"

"Bye Logan, see you soon"

Once both men gave their goodbyes, they both hung up the call.

It seems they've been speaking for around seventeen minutes. But Spencer felt like the call occured only in five.

'Time sure flies quickly when you're having fun...'

Noticing the call had ended, Marissa proceeded to speak:

"Well, that went really well! Looks like you guys will be meeting each other soon"

"Haha, yeah..." Spencer replied softly, still thinking about the phone call he just had with the Logan lad.

Marissa was feeling giddy with excitement

She then proceeded to ask:

"So?~ What did you think?~ Ain't Logan sweet?~"

Spencer looked up towards Marissa and smiled widely

"The sweetest"

Logan was feeling giddy

He was finally going to physically meet his soulmate! Although, technically, he already did meet him since he was occupying his body...

And, he did spend some time introducing himself in the bathroom mirror...

So...would this meeting at the café be considered the first or second physical meeting??

Logan shook his head vigorously. He didn't really want to waste time or energy thinking about bodyswap semantics...

Thankfully, Diego & Zaid proceeded to snap Logan out of these confusing thoughts.

"Well mi amigo, you both sounded like you had a wonderful talk~"

"Yeah man, sounded like you both were having fun~"

Logan blushed. He had forgotten they were both sitting nearby him on the professor lounge's sofa, just out of earshot.

"Haha, yeah, I had loads of fun speaking with Spencer. Although, I wish I could have talked to him a bit longer. Also, it is kind of weird hearing my own voice speak to me on the other end. Kinda feels like I'm talking to myself..."

Diego chuckled

"Well my friend, I guess in a sense, you kind of are? Also, don't worry. The intense awkwardness of the situation tends to die down after the first week or so"

Logan looked at Diego hopefully

"Really?"

"Definitely! When I swapped bodies with my partner, we were both incredibly nervous too. I mean, it is a really awkward situation..."

Diego rubbed the back of his head sheepishly

"Honestly, it was all rather nerve-wracking; really. After all, you don't really know if your soulmate is a good person or not when you first swap bodies, so you had absolutely no way of knowing if they would be causing chaos..."

Logan's eyes widened

'Damn, I never even considered that before...would any soulmate actually ever be willing to cause chaos like that?'

Diego continued

"Us taking each other's bodies also meant we had full control over each other's more *cough* 'personal areas', if you catch what I mean..."

Logan blushed, he knew exactly what Diego meant by that...

"But thankfully, we were ultimately able to overcome this intense nervousness caused by the phenomena"

"Uhhh...how did you two overcome it, if you don't mind me asking? I'd really appreciate any advice you could give me..."

Diego smiled reassuringly at Logan

"Well, honestly, what strongly helped us was making sure we stayed in the same home together during the duration of our phenomena. By being together, we truly got to know each other better and build complete trust "

Diego's smile then turned softer and warmer, as if he were remembering some super precious and innately personal memories...

"We also made sure to constantly reassure each other by making it absolutely known that we trusted each other. And *cough* we also, kind of...gave each other permission to explore each other's bodies when we were alone and not with each other..."

Logan's blush intensified

"Wait, really???"

Diego proceeded to blush too

"Yeah..."

"Wow...I never would of expected that..."

"Well, Logan, my partner and I are simple men after all. It's natural to be curious. Plus, we would be stuck in each other's bodies for the next five weeks. Why torture ourselves by being prudes when that was not what our hearts desired. Plus, us giving each other our blessings relieved all the tension. Consent is key, you know"

'That's true' Logan thought. He now had some things to consider about his & Spencer's situation...

"Of course, we didn't do anything too raunchy. The both of us honestly only ever looked with only the most basic of touches. Never anything more than that..."

Zaid was also beginning to feel rather flushed. Hearing Diego & Logan talk about something so personal made him realise how *cough* incredibly intimate...the reunification phenomena must be...

"Wow Diego, I never realised how intense the phenomena was for you. Now I understand why you get so shy whenever you think about it..."

Diego chuckled a little from embarassment

"Ahaha, yeah..."

Zaid contined

"I'm so glad me and Ivy noticed each other right away. I shiver at the thought of the both of us experiencing that same phenomena. I bet it's a thousand times more awkward when it happens between a man and a woman..."

Logan & Diego couldn't agree more

The thought of suddenly waking up in a body that is not the same gender as your own body sounded incredibly awkward and embarassment inducing. Logan & Diego shuddered at the thought...

'Thank god my soulmate identifies as a male' they thought simultaneously

Logan checked his wristwatch. He should probably head out.

"Well guys, I think I should head out soon. Spencer and I are going to officially meet at Glacé's cafe~"

"Ooooo~ that's a really nice place"

"Yeah! Ivy & I absolutely love the crepes there. We highly recommend"

Logan made a mental note of that. He's tried a lot of dishes at the cafe, but not the crepes so far.

"Thanks for the recommendation! What about you guys? Have any plans?"

"Actually, Diego & I are finished for the day too. We'll probably just head home now. Let us just gather our stuff and then we can lock up and head to the exit together"

"Great idea!" Logan responded

As Diego & Zaid were getting their stuff, Logan noticed something

"Hey guys, this lounge room is for all the professor's right?"

"Yep, that's correct"

"Oh, then I wonder why no one else came in here today. The three of us have been alone in here for quite a while"

Both Diego & Zaid chuckled

Diego then proceeded to explain

"That's because it's only the first day of semester my friend. This university normally gets insanely more busy on the second day. Thank goodness you experienced the phenomena today. Otherwise, you would have definitely been in the midst of a massive crowd of teachers"

"Yeah, that sounds like it would have been a total nightmare" Zaid responded

Logan couldn't agree more. Waking up to a massive crowd of strangers kinda woulda made Logan panic from the confusion and intensity of it all.

'Thank god that wasn't the case...'

"All right, Zaid & I are ready now. Come Logan, let us show you the exit."

Logan grabbed Spencer's briefcase.

He then began to follow Zaid & Diego enthusiastically.

It was time to start his journey towards Spencer!

"Alright then, sounds like a plan!"

Spencer had told Marissa his plans to physically meet Logan at the Glacé's cafe.

Spencer was incredibly excited, he was finally going to physically meet the love of his life!

Marissa continued

"Well, my shift is just about over. Let me just go get my things and then I will escort you to the exit of this massive water world"

"Thank you Marissa"

Marissa then promptly left to go get her things.

Once she left, everything had suddenly got quiet, almost too quiet...

As Spencer was alone, he couldn't help but look back in the direction of the mirror he was in front of earlier...

'Hmmm, maybe one more look wouldn't hurt..."

Spencer got up from his seat and walked in front of the mirror slowly.

Once he was in front of it again, his heart resumed beating vigorously.

Spencer let out another wolf-whistle, but this time on purpose.

Logan truly was a handsome and manly man.

Spencer took this time to properly observe his new face. And boy was he enjoying himself!

The stubbly beard Logan had was too cute!!

His eyes were a wondrous blue, as if the morning skies and the deep blue ocean got unified into one magnificent entity.

Logan's orange hair was hot and mesmerizing, like a majestic lion's mane.

Spencer was feeling giddy.

After observing his face further, Spencer came to the conclusion that Marissa was indeed correct...Logan is like a puppy!

He just looked waaay too cute!

And, after actually speaking to Logan and discovering how insanely sweet he was.

The puppy comparison was almost uncanny.

Spencer stood back so that he could look at Logan's body fully.

Spencer then inwardly made a solid vow.

'For as long as I occupy this body, I vow to protect it and keep it healthy at all costs'

Spencer then proceeded to blush from embarrassment

'Damn, when did my thoughts start getting so dramatic...'

Although, indeed, Spencer's thoughts may currently be seen as filled with melodrama. He still couldn't help but actually truly feel those dramatic thoughts he was thinking.

Spencer then proceeded to flex his muscles and admire his soulmate's well-gained guns.

He gave himself a sexy smile as he was doing so too.

But as he was doing so, Spencer then proceeded to hear some suppressed laughter coming from nearby...

Spencer turned sharply.

It seems Marissa had returned. And it looks like she caught him red-handed ogling Logan's body

Spencer's face flushed further from the fresher embarrassment.

'Damn, I flew too close to the sun...'

Like, Spencer KNEW Marissa would only be gone momentarily and be back soon with her things

But still, he continued to behave like a fucking clown...

'Fuck my life...'

Marissa continued her attempt to suppress her laughter. Boy, did she have a story to tell Anastasia tonight!

Spencer tried apologizing to her for forcing her to see him so undignified

"Ahaha...my apologies..."

Marissa attempted to regain her composure

"Pfffft...no, no. All good man. I understand completely. Honestly, I would actually do the same if the phenomena occurred between me & Anastasia too"

Although Spencer was thankful for Marissa's signature reassurances, he still felt insanely embarrassed being caught acting so foolishly...

He then also inwardly vowed he would never let such a humiliating event like this happen again.

Marissa then proceeded to change the topic.

It seemed like she was ready to leave as she had her coat on and her handbag on her as well.

"Well, I'm ready to leave. Come on now, let me show you the exit. And then you can finally be on your way to meet Logan~"

Spencer's feelings of embarrassment were then instantly replaced by renewed excitement.

"Yes, let's get going!"

Spencer proceeded to follow Marissa out of the water park's staff/locker room.

His journey towards Logan was finally beginning!

"Whoa!"

Logan was greatly admiring the educational establishment he was in.

Currently, he was following Diego & Zaid to the entrance of this massive university.

'This institution is ENORMOUS' Logan thought

He was truly amazed.

The university felt like it came from the 22nd century with all its high-tech equipment and all its insanely fancy facilities.

There were so many escalators and elevators around every corner.

There was also an endless supply of vending machines providing many affordable, yet premium quality, snacks and beverages.

It seems the professor's lounge they were on was on the fourth floor of the building they were in.

While heading down towards each floor below, Logan saw an almost endless supply of classrooms and lecture halls.

The equipment within them were incredibly fancy too!

Once they reached the ground floor, Logan was flabbergasted.

There were so many amazing and stylish couches and endless amounts of tables placed everywhere for students to sit at.

There were also dozens of private study rooms for students to be able to study in.

But, what surprised Logan the most was the entrance to a massive, amazing food court that seemed like it sold food from all kinds of international cuisines.

Needless to say, Logan was incredibly impressed.

'Wow, Spencer sure works in such a fancy, high-class place..."

As it was only the first day of the semester, there weren't as many students as there usually were in the building.

However, Logan did see some groups of students sitting on the expensive sofas provided.

He also noticed some students heading towards the private study rooms and other students heading towards the awesome food court.

The delicious smells wafting from said food court was beginning to make Logan feel kinda hungry.

Logan shook his head.

'No Logan, you can eat later. Right now, your focus must be on Spencer'

After a few more minutes of walking, Diego, Zaid & Logan were finally able to exit the building and started heading to the entrance of the university campus.

The outside campus itself was enormous too, it seemed like there were a few more massive buildings dedicated to classes and lectures.

Logan found it to be mesmerizing.

After about ten more minutes walking down a massive pathway, all three men finally arrived at the entrance of the enormous university campus.

"Wow guys, this university is mind-blowing! And, the fact that you guys work here...you guys are genuinely the coolest!"

Logan stared at both Diego & Zaid with awe

Zaid & Diego blushed

"Awww man, it's really not a big deal. All we do is teach a bit" Zaid said while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly

"Yeah, it's really not THAT impressive" Diego corroborated whilst looking away bashfully.

Damn, these guys sure are humble!

"No dudes! You guys are literally the coolest! I mean, just look at this place! It's as if you are the professors of some kind of futuristic academy! You guys are honestly my idols..."

Diego & Zaid chuckled

"Thanks Logan" both men fondly said in unison

"No need to thank me, just telling the truth is all"

All three men then fell into a comfortable silence

They began heading out beyond the entrance, finally exiting the university altogether.

"Well Logan, looks like we are finally out of the area. Excited to finally meet Spencer?" Zaid asked

The new conversation focusing on Spencer proceeded to fill Logan with great excitement

"Yeah man! Honestly, I wish teleporters were real. Cause then I would just teleport to him right now and give him the biggest hug ever!"

"Awwwwww~" both men adoringly exclaimed in unison

What Logan just said right now melted both of their hearts. How romantic!

"We know the feeling bro" Diego replied

"Yeah bro, that's love alright" Zaid continued

Both men's thoughts suddenly went towards their own soulmates, leading them to attain a super warm, loving smile on their own faces

Logan really wished he didn't need to distract them from what seemed like wondrous thoughts. But, he really needed to start heading out.

"So guys, I absolutely LOVED meeting the both of you. I just know we are going to become the most amazing friends, EVER. But, I really better start heading out towards the cafe now. Let's make sure to catch up soon though. Spencer & I both really wanted to treat you guys to an amazing dinner as a thank you for all the help you've given me. We promise to treat y'all with something super special super soon!"

Zaid & Diego focused their attention back onto Logan

"Awww, thanks so much man, that's super nice. It was actually an absolute pleasure meeting you and it was our honor to help you out. We just know Spencer is going to absolutely ADORE you~"

"Yes amigo, you are a super incredible and kind person. We are absolutely thankful that we could be acquainted with you and get to help you as well. We are definitely looking forward to that dinner too~"

Logan began feeling especially thankful

"Awwwww guys, you're both too amazing!"

Both men continued

Haha, you're amazing too~ Now, don't be a stranger now, friend. We both want to see you again very soon. Also, you are most definitely invited to my future upcoming wedding too by the way"

Diego gave a friendly wink

"I wouldn't dream of not having you there alongside Spencer~"

"Awww, thanks so much Diego! We'll make sure to bring the best wedding present EVER! I just know your wedding will be absolutely phenomenal"

Zaid agreed

"Most definitely it will be! I'll make sure to bring barrels of my momma's world famous strawberry lemonade. It is the most anticipated wedding of the decade, after all"

Diego blushed and smiled heartwarmingly

"Thanks bros, Ustedes son literalmente los mejores~"

"Our pleasure dude!" Logan & Zaid happily replied in unison

Diego then proceeded to change the topic back to Logan

"Now Logan, you better head off now. It's time for you to finally be with the love of your life! Do you need any help with directions?"

"Yeah dude, would you like me & Diego to help with anything?? We could call you a taxi"

"Thanks guys, but I'm good. I'd rather just walk there. Plus, I've got Spencer's phone to help me with the directions. Also, I think I will use this time to think about what I will actually say to Spencer when I finally meet him. I'm excited, but also kinda nervous..."

Zaid & Diego smiled at Logan warmly. Both men then simultaneously gave Logan an impulsive and sweet hug.

"Don't worry amigo, regardless of what you have to say, we know Spencer will be absolutely moved~"

"Yeah dude, trust us. We've known Spencer for quite a while now. And, after meeting you and getting to know you. We know for a FACT that he is going to love you dearly"

Logan was moved. He instantly hugged both men back tightly. Spencer truly did have the most wonderful friends ever.

"Thanks dudes..."

After a couple more minutes in the bromantic embrace, all three men finally let go of each other.

"All right guys, wish me luck!"

Logan began to walk off while looking back and zealously waving goodbye to both Zaid & Diego

"Good luck bro!"

"Yeah bro, you got this!"

Both men began to passionately wave goodbye to Logan as well

After their final farewells, Logan proceeded to look forward.

He was finally headed out towards Glacé's cafe.

Logan took out Spencer's phone from the briefcase

He proceeded to enter the passcode Spencer provided him

Logan then opened the MAPS app and proceeded to enter in the destination he was heading towards

The app instantly gave him the directions he needed to get to the cafe from the university campus

'Alright, let's go!'

As Logan began following the directions, his mind focused on something new he saw when he finally accessed Spencer's phone

When he entered into the MAPS app, it said:

'Welcome, Spencer Lawrence, where would you like to go today?'

Logan couldn't help but focus on one super specific detail.

'Lawrence...so that's his last name... Spencer Lawrence'

Just then, Logan began to smile super giddily

'That's hot'

Spencer was awestruck.

Walking with Marissa, Spencer couldn't help but look in every single direction he possibly could with WILD amazement.

'THIS WATER PARK IS PHENOMENAL!!!' Spencer thought in amazement

And truly, it was.

This water park truly was THEE best water park in the entire world. It felt like something that came out of a fantasy novel.

It was incredibly astonishing how such a magnificent place could be built by human hands.

Spencer couldn't really identify which parts of the park amazed him the most though...

It was all honestly so overwhelming.

Currently, Marissa & him were walking past the beach themed area, which had an artificial beach that could honestly put real beaches to shame. It was just too beautifully crafted!

There was also an underwater themed area with majestic ocean blue walls with a magnificent swimming pool. This area also surprisingly had a great entrance to a massive aquarium with a variety of mesmerizing sea life.

Additionally, there was also a tropics themed area with beautiful tropical themed festivities and stalls selling tropical themed beverages and snacks.

Surprisingly, there was also an Antarctic themed area with frozen ice where you could go ice-skating instead of swimming if you so desired.

But, what especially amazed Spencer was the waterfall themed area with the many beautiful, gushing waterfalls filling in an enormous pool.

It was insane how much beautiful water-related facilities there were.

And all this was only just one portion of the water park! There were still so many themed areas left for Spencer to explore...

'Wow...Logan works here??? He is genuinely...THE COOLEST SOULMATE EVER'

Spencer couldn't help but be filled with intensely great pride for Logan. To think that the love of his life would be working in such a magical place. The thought itself filled Spencer with immense joy.

Marissa began to giggle

"I can see you're in awe of what you've seen so far. Believe me, all this is only just the tip of the iceberg. There's still so many great things left to see!"

Spencer truly believed her

"Wow Marissa... I'm honestly speechless...I've heard of this water park before, but, I honestly thought people were exaggerating when they were calling it 'the best in the entire world'. But now... now I see that it was certainly the truth"

Marissa smiled warmly at Spencer

"Most definitely. This park is honestly my dream job. Every day is a brand new and magical experience. So thankful I get to work here. Believe it or not, I actually almost signed up to join the army"

Spencer's eyes widened in surprise

"Really? That's quite fascinating Marissa, what made you change your mind?"

"Well, joining the army was honestly more my father's dream for me rather than something I personally wanted. He wanted me to follow in both of my brother's footsteps. But, it's not something I ever really wanted"

Spencer could relate. He remembered how insistent his parents were in getting him into academics and all kinds of mentally challenging extracurriculars. Thankfully, Spencer never seemed to mind as he actually enjoyed doing them...

"However, after meeting my wife, Anastasia, everything changed..."

At the mention of her soulmate, Spencer proceeded to listen with even more rapt attention.

"You see one day she invited me here as a surprise for my birthday. Due to her modelling and connections to some very important people, Ana was able to get us VIP passes. And let's just say, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY"

Spencer smiled widely. He could just imagine Marissa's wonder-filled reaction.

"We spent that entire day exploring everything that the park had to offer. After experiencing everything, I just knew that I HAD to work here. And Ana, being the absolute angel she is, was able to pull a few strings and set me up with this amazing career. I love her so much..."

Spencer was moved. Marissa and this Anastasia person's love for each other was just so heart-warming! Spencer hoped he could be as amazing a partner to Logan just as Anastasia was to Marissa.

"That is so sweet Marissa, I'm incredibly honored that you shared such a wonderful story with me. Thank you so much"

"My pleasure Spencer. Seeing both your & Logan's...er...little situation right now, I just couldn't help but remember the wonderful memories I've made ever since I also met my own soulmate. I'm sure the same will be for you"

Spencer's heart began to melt from Marissa's sweetness

"Awwwww that's so sweet, thanks lass"

"Huh? Lass?"

Marissa giggled at that

Spencer blushed

"I knew you were British"

"Ahaha, yes I am"

"I'm sure Logan will be especially happy. I think I heard Anastasia saying something about how Logan found Europeans especially hot"

Spencer blushed further

"Ah, is that so? Well, It's my pleasure to know that he will hopefully like what he's been assigned to"

"Awww come on man, you make being assigned to a soulmate sound like some kind of homework assignment. It's so much more than that! I know that Logan will be absolutely THRILLED to meet you~"

Spencer began to feel sheepish

"Ahaha, well I certainly will be glad if that is the case"

"It definitely will be. Oh! You two should definitely come here on a date! Now that you both have six weeks worth of days off, you guys have the opportunity to have so much fun here~"

"That's... actually a marvelous idea Marissa! Thanks so much!"

Marissa replied warmly

"My pleasure~'

After a bit more conversing and further awestruck observations of the wondrous water world, both Marissa & Spencer began to fall into a comfortable silence

As they were still walking to the exit, Spencer began imagining him & Logan going on a date here at this unbelievably beautiful park.

Spencer started to feel especially exhilarated. He was imagining all the exciting things him & Logan could do together at this wondrous, magical waterland.

Spencer was lost in thought thinking about all the fun him & Logan would have.

Eventually, without realizing, Spencer & Marissa had finally reached the exit to the massive domed water park.

How on earth the creators of this place were able to build such magnificence inside this dome was beyond Spencer.

He imagined the park's water, electricity and maintenance bills would be enormously high. Spencer shivered at the thought.

"Right this way Spencer" Marissa gestured to a massive entrance where customers would enter through.

Spencer & Marissa then proceeded to head outside through the water park's massive entrance. Once outside, they walked down a large pathway that reached a gate where tickets would be checked before allowing visitors to go inside.

Once they reached the gate, Marissa opened it up so that Spencer and her could leave it.

Once they were through that gate, Marissa & Spencer finally succeeded in leaving the beautiful water park entirely.

"Well Spencer, looks like we're finally outside. Ready to meet up with Logan? I imagine it will be a surreal experience seeing your own body move towards you and speak to you using your own voice"

Spencer chuckled

"Haha yeah, it certainly is something that will take me some time to get accustomed to. Regardless, I'm just excited to finally be with Logan, even if he'll be inside my body for a bit"

Marissa smiled warmly

"That's so sweet~ Honestly, I can't help but wonder how things would have turned out if Marissa & I experienced the phenomena too. I bet you guys are going to have tons of fun, just like you were having in the locker room earlier~"

Marissa gave Spencer a cheeky wink

Spencer blushed immensely at the reminder of being caught in his little monkey-style soulmate ogling sesh

"Ahaha, w-well, I guess so..."

Marissa giggled

Spencer began to feel bashful

Marissa then proceeded to check her phone

"Well Spencer, I guess you better start heading out. You've got your first meeting with the love of your life after all~"

"Ah, yes"

Spencer held out one hand towards Marissa, hoping to prompt an incredibly friendly handshake.

"Thank you so much for everything Marissa. You being here with me when I woke up meant the absolute world to me. I am so thankful that Logan has wonderful friends like you"

Marissa took Spencer's hand and both individuals acted out a sweet handshake. Marissa then replied

"It's my absolute pleasure Spencer. By the way, I want you to know that you are most definitely invited to mine & Anastasia's dinner party this upcoming Saturday. I'm certain Anastasia will be dying to meet you. She & Logan are best friends after all"

"Thank you, I hope I will make a good impression"

Marissa giggled

"Oh believe me, you definitely will~"

Just then, Spencer was reminded of something Logan wanted him to say

"Oh right, Logan said he would be bringing you cheesecakes as well as apple pies to show his appreciation for all the help you've given me"

Marissa clapped her hands together

"Ooooooo~ cheesecake too?? Sounds scrumptious. Please tell him thank you on my behalf~"

"Of course, also please allow me to host a dinner party for both you & Anastasia too sometime soon. I would also truly like to show my deepest gratitudes"

Marissa smiled warmly

"Of course Spencer. Ana & I would be honored to attend"

Spencer was thankful

Marissa continued

"Anyways bro, you really should get going. Don't want to keep Logan waiting now~"

"Ahh, right right"

Spencer proceeded to take out Logan's phone. He entered in the passcode Logan provided him with. Once access was granted, Spencer promptly pressed the MAPS app and proceeded to get directions to the Glacé's cafe.

"If you want Spencer, I could call you a taxi" Marissa offered

Spencer replied gratefully

"Thank you for the offer Marissa. But, I think I would honestly prefer walking. I feel like it will help me clear up my head a bit and process all that is happening..."

Marissa chuckled

"I understand. Anyways, I better start going too. Ana & I were planning on seeing a movie together once we both finished with work"

"Oooo~ sounds exciting"

"Yeah! She and I've been excited to see this one"

"Well, I hope you enjoy & I hope to see you this upcoming Saturday evening at your place"

"Yes! Please make sure you definitely come. I won't forgive you if you bail on the party"

Spencer chuckled

"I promise I wouldn't miss it for anything"

Marissa smiled excitedly

"Excellent! Until then, enjoy your time with Logan~"

Marissa then proceeded to walk off while waving goodbye to Spencer

"I truly enjoyed meeting you Spencer. I just know that Logan is going to absolutely CHERISH you. Make sure to give him my best wishes k~ Ta ta for now~"

Spencer proceeded to wave goodbye back

"Of course Marissa. I'm beyond thankful for meeting you too~ I'll make sure Logan gets the message~ Have a lovely evening~"

After giving each other their final goodbyes, and once Marissa was no longer in his sight, Spencer proceeded to return his attention to Logan's phone.

The MAPS app had easily provided him with the directions he needed to reach his destination.

'Alright, it's time for me to finally get going'

Spencer then proceeded to walk in the direction the app was taking him

As he was walking, he was thinking about a particular detail he saw in the app.

What he saw made him feel quite giddy

'Bell...what a cool last name! Perfectly fitting for the dear lad'

Logan was almost at the cafe. And boy, was he TIRED. All this walking was actually exhausting him.

Logan found this experience to be funny cause before, he would have NEVER felt so exhausted after walking this much. It was actually kinda... refreshing!

'Phew! I sure am giving this body a workout. Maybe I should exercise and build up Spencer's stamina a bit before we switch back. Want my man to live a long, healthy life after all~'

Logan was starting to sweat quite a bit. The suit Logan was wearing was making him feel stuffy. Even though it made Spencer look handsome and quite hot, Logan was beginning to feel literally hot from wearing it...

After a few more minutes of walking and following the directions on Spencer's phone, Logan FINALLY spotted the café.

'Yes! I know Spencer is going to just LOVE this place. The stuff they sell here is insanely delicious!"

On top of choosing this cafe for it's delicious food, another reason Logan chose this café is because he happened to know the owners, Trevor & Derek.

The story of how Logan met Trevor & Derek was kind of a chilling experience.

It was a couple years ago, on a day when Logan was on his way home after he met his coach for his routine Olympic swimming practice. While walking, Logan noticed an out of control car that was haphazardly headed for a man taking equipment out of his caravan.

In a moment of desperate impulse, Logan rushed to the man and - just in the nick of time - was able push the man and himself out of harms way. The caravan, however, was crushed to smithereens by the car.

Thankfully, the man driving the car was also safe and alive. Turns out he managed to successfully escape and dropped out of the car a few moments before the car collided with the caravan.

So thankfully no fatalities occurred that day.

Anyways, the man Logan saved that day happened to be Trevor. After the crash happened, Derek rushed out of the building they were in front of, which happened to be the Glacé's cafe.

Derek was panicked and had checked Trevor thoroughly to see if he was alright. He then checked on Logan to see if he had any injuries. Luckily, both men were able to dodge the truck unscathed.

Derek & Trevor were insanely grateful to Logan for saving Trevor's life. Derek was also insanely miffed at the out of control driver, who happened to also be drunk.

Both Trevor & Logan had to legit hold Derek back from killing the man.

After the police came and took the man, and after Derek & Trevor contacted their insurance company, they insisted on treating Logan as a token of gratitude.

The food that Logan had that day was insanely delicious. He was served a supreme strawberry cheesecake with the world's most amazing vanilla milkshake.

Logan felt like he was instantly sent to heaven at the first sip and bite.

After finishing his meal, Derek & Trevor insisted that Logan come back as many times as he liked. They insisted they would always treat him, free of charge, for life. Logan reassured them that they didn't need to do that. But both men wouldn't take no for an answer.

Logan remembered the touching words Derek had uttered to him at that time

"Man, you saved my sole reason for living. The absolute love of my life. Please make sure to come back any time you want. It would make both Trevor & Me really happy to always be able to treat you"

Logan was moved by their sweetness, and promised he would return frequently since that was what they honestly desired.

And ever since then, Logan remained great friends with Derek & Trevor and often visited their café mostly for their drinks, cakes and ice cream.

However, even though each time Derek & Trevor insisted that Logan should eat for free, Logan still insisted on paying more often than not.

After all, Logan wasn't someone who liked abusing the infinite kindness of other people, especially friends.

'I wonder what Spencer will feel like having'

Logan himself decided that he may just try some crepes today. Zaid insisted that they were especially delicious at this cafe. And, since Logan has never tried them, he decided he may as well give them a try today.

Speaking of Zaid and his fondness of Glacé's crepes, Logan also made a mental note to introduce Zaid & Diego to Trevor & Derek some day. After all, both men did say that they themselves liked this cafe. Hence, Logan thought it would be cool to introduce them to the owners. Maybe he could even score them some generous coupons and discounts~

Logan did want to further express his deepest gratitude to his new friends after all. He was so thankful they were both there when he woke up in Spencer's body.

Logan stopped in his tracks and suddenly faced the building he was now in front of

'Welp, here I am~'

Turns out Logan finally managed to reach the cafe. It was a super fancy building with light blue walls on the exterior and pure white walls in the interior. There were also fancy tables and booths inside the cafe, with a variety of pastries on display at the counter.

On top of the building was a beautiful sign that said 'GLACÉ'S'.

As the windows were transparent, Logan was able to see all the customers eating at the cafe. As a result, Logan was able to instantly identify that his own body was not there yet, indicating that Spencer was still on his way.

'I'll just stand here until he arrives, I bet he will be surprised to see me...uh...I mean...himself? haha~'

Logan then proceeded to wait in front of the gate that was next to the entrance of the cafe.

He began eagerly awaiting Spencer's arrival. And boy was he insanely excited too~

'When he gets here, I'm gonna give Spencer a biiiiiiiiiiiiig hug~'

'Fascinating! I'm guessing Logan must go to the gym a lot cause normally I would feel insanely tired after walking this much...But not today!"

After walking a significant distance towards the cafe, Spencer was still filled with great amounts of energy!

Spencer never realized how exhilarating it can be to walk. He also found it incredibly refreshing that he didn't have to worry about Logan being a healthy person.

Indeed, Logan being naturally heath-oriented person meant that Spencer could become instantly even happier. After all, the healthier a person is, the more likely they will live a long, healthy life~

And, knowing that the love of his life could possibly live a long (and hopefully infinitely happy) life brought Spencer an immeasurable amount of joy.

'Praying the dear lad will always remain happy & healthy~"

After a few more minutes of walking, the MAPS app indicated that Spencer was almost at his desired destination.

After walking further down the road, Spencer had finally spotted it!

He saw a luxurious light blue building that had a massive sign:
*GLACÉ* it read

But what really caught Spencer's attention was the bloke standing in front of the cafe's gate.

It was himself!

'LOGAN!' Spencer thought excitedly while forming an impulsive smile on his face

It seemed Logan noticed him instantly too. Logan began waving at Spencer passionately with the biggest smile ever. He also proceeded to sprint towards Spencer from the excitement of the situation.

Spencer also felt the same infinite excitement and began to sprint towards Logan too, heart beating rapidly in his chest. A few seconds later, both men finally reached each other and gave each other the BIGGEST. HUG. EVER.

Both men were literally on cloud nine. This was real! This was actually happening! They were finally holding each other! And more than anything, they wanted to NEVER let go.

The embrace was the most powerful, yet sweetest and most tenderest hug both men have ever had in their entire lives.

Their faces were so incredibly close to each other, with each face being on top of each other's right shoulder and incredibly close to each other's necks.

Both men's hands were coiled around each other' backs incredibly tightly, as if they were long lost lovers reuniting after being forced apart from each other after a tragedy.

It was actually rather phenomenal, if you were an outsider observing this embrace, you would be able to instantly notice how perfectly both men's bodies fit together, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.

But thankfully, no one was around to observe the hug. Otherwise, both men would have caused quite the eye-catching spectacle.

"Hello love, I'm so happy to finally meet you~" Spencer passionately exclaimed

"Same man, I have actually dreamed of the day when I would finally get to be with you~" Logan zealously reciprocated

"Haha~ I certainly hope I am able to live up to those dreams~"

Logan hugged Spencer tighter

"Oh don't worry dude, you have already gone above and beyond them~"

Spencer's heart was melting from the love.

'What an angel' Spencer thought sweetly

Spencer was the happiest he has ever been. Albeit the fact that it was kinda a surreal experience that he was being hugged by Logan through his own body. Spencer still proceeded to feel like this was the best hug he had ever had in his entire life.

Logan & Spencer were still in the midst of a wondrous hug. Neither were showing signs of letting each other go anytime soon. Both men were just too much in a state of bliss! That is, until:

"Uhhh, Logan? Is that you??"

Both men jolted and instantly separated from the sudden sound of a man that suddenly spoke to them.

The dark haired man looked like he was carrying a big box of fresh fruits. Seemed like he was heading to the cafe too.

Logan recognized the man immediately, it was Derek!

"Heya Derek!"

The man looked towards Logan in confusion

"Hey there...uhhhh, sorry bro, do I know you?"

Logan just remembered that he was currently in Spencer's body, not his own.

Logan gave Derek a cheeky smile

"It's me dude, Logan! I missed my first encounter and now I am occupying this hot bod belonging to my soulmate, Spencer!"

Logan gestured dramatically towards Spencer, who seemed to be feeling incredibly bashful from the awkwardness of the situation (as well as feeling flustered from having his own body being called 'hot' so casually)

"Uh, hello there. Pleased to meet you"

Derek looked at both men with great surprise

He then bursted out laughing

"Holy shit man, for real?? That's fucking hilarious!"

Derek continued laughing heartily,

Needless to say, Spencer was incredibly embarrassed.

Logan was unfazed however. In fact, he seemed joyful over the fact that Derek was enjoying himself.

"Yeah dude! I can hardly believe it myself. And look, I've got a super hot English accent now too~"

"Wait, wait, holy shit man, you actually do!"

This time both men began laughing with great amounts of zeal

Spencer was positively dumbfounded

After a couple more minutes of mirthful laughter, both men seemed to finally calmed down.

"Shit man, congratulations. Trevor & I were honestly wondering who your soulmate would be. And, looks like you bagged yourself a good-looking motherfucker too~"

Derek placed his box of fruit on the ground then turned towards Spencer with an outstretched hand.

"Sorry about all the laughing bruh. I'm Derek. I'm one of the owners of Glacé's and a friend of Logan's. I am super happy to meet you~ My husband and I were always waiting eagerly for the day when we would finally get to meet Logan's hubby. I just know Trevor is going to love meeting you too~"

Spencer smiled and took Derek's hand, leading to a very friendly handshake

"Thank you. I never realized Logan would be friends with the owner of such a magnificent cafe. I must say I am honored to meet you too. And this Trevor fellow I assume is your husband? I am rather excited to meet him too"

Derek giggled a bit

"Sorry, sorry. It's just, it's so surreal hearing Logan's voice sounding so formal"

Spencer smiled humorously

"Haha, I understand completely~"

Derek smiled back warmly

"Anyhoo, please do come inside. Trevor & I will make sure to prepare something extra special for you both. It is a special day after all~"

"Thank you, that's very kind of you. I am much obliged"

"Yeah bro, thanks so much! So excited for Spencer to finally meet Trevor too~

Logan then picked up the box of fruit that was on the floor.

"Here, let me help you with this"

"Oh no bro, you don't have to do that"

"All good bro, I insist~"

"Well, thanks Logan! Come on now, I just know that Trevor will be absolutely flabbergasted by the news"

Derek then proceeded to head towards the cafe.

Logan, whilst carefully holding the box of fruit and Spencer's briefcase in one hand, walked towards Spencer.

Then, with his free hand, he clasped onto one of Spencer's hands

"Let's go Spencer~ I just know you are going to absolutely love this place~"

Spencer smiled at Logan lovingly

"Of course, let's go~"

With that, both men proceeded to enter the cafe, walking hand-in-hand.

Spencer was absolutely amazed.

This cafe was so elegant and fancy!

While walking hand in hand with Logan, who was following Derek,
Spencer noticed practically all the booths and seats were completely occupied with satisfied customers who were having the time of their lives.

Spencer also noticed a vast majority of them were digging into their food as if it were the last meal of their lives.

'Whoa, the food here must be beyond amazing. I'm actually getting kinda excited to try something'

Spencer then promptly eyed the menu that was also largely posted on one of the walls. His eyes widened in disbelief. The prices here were so incredibly affordable!

Spencer never imagined that a cafe as eloquent as THIS would be so affordable.

'Blimey that's cheap! And in this economy too?? Derek & Trevor must be super generous fellows...'

Whilst looking in all directions of the cafe with awe, Spencer couldn't help but feel incredibly thankful that Logan brought him to such a magnificent place for their first official physical meeting.

This cafe was just too amazing! And honestly, both men could pig out together tonight if they so desired. It was that affordable!

And from his observations, Spencer could tell the food here would be incredibly scrumptious.

"Hey Trevor, you'll never guess what happened!" Derek called out as he entered a back room past the counter that contained a variety of lustrous pastries and tasty treats.

He ushered both Logan & Spencer to follow him with his hands

As they entered through the door, Spencer was greeted with the most stylish and spacious kitchen ever.

All the equipment that was being used looked incredibly high-class and fancy.

There were also a few chefs and sous chefs that were helping with the cooking and baking of magnificent dishes and cakes.

'Zaid would've loved to see this' Spencer thought

The scents that were wafting throughout the kitchen were insanely delicious.

Logan & Spencer continued following Derek until they reached a super friendly looking man wearing a chef's hat.

He seemed to be preoccupied stirring a massive saucepan that had something yummy cooking.

"Heya Derek~ thanks again for offering to bring the fruits"

The man then proceeded to face towards them and was surprised to see two unexpected guests.

Once the man looked directly at Spencer, his expression turned to one of pure delight

"Oh Logan! It's so nice to see you!~ I see you brought a friend too~"

Logan looked towards Spencer cheekily

Spencer laughed nervously whilst rubbing the back of his neck

Derek then proceeded to giggle

Trevor looked towards his husband in confusion

"What's so funny??"

Derek tried to regain his composure

"Pffff-Trev-pff you're never gonna believe this-"

Trevor was starting to get slightly exasperated

"Come on Derek, what is it? We're being rude to our guests"

That's when Logan cut in. And, with an emphasis on his newfound accent, proceeded to greet Trevor:

"Well hell-o, good sir. My name is Lord Spencer of Yorkshire Borough. I am a dear friend and penpal of Logan's from England. And yes, I am a distant relative of the royal family. Pray tell, might I ask you for your name please?"

Trevor was shocked and began to hastily respond. To think that he was supposedly in the presence of an English lord!

"Oh! Ah, hello good sir! I mean, er, your lordship! My name is Trevor! And, I am one of the owners of this cafe—"

Spencer was mortified

Logan resisted the urge to laugh

Derek on the other hand began to HOWL with laughter

Trevor looked towards Derek with full annoyance

"For Pete's sake Derek, what is so fucking funny!?"

"Trevor dude, that man isn't an English lord. That's Logan!"

Trevor's expression became confused

"Uhhh, What?"

Derek proceeded to explain further

"It's true, the man with the English accent is actually Logan speaking. And, this other man with the appearance of Logan is actually Spencer!"

Trevor seemed like he still wasn't getting it...

"Don't you understand dude, Logan missed his first encounter! He's swapped bodies! Spencer is his soulmate!"

Trevor's eyes widened sharply

After taking a few more seconds to really process the information he was given, he looked directly towards both Logan & Spencer.

Logan gave a sweet smile with a friendly wave.

Spencer, on the other hand was looking incredibly bashful and felt insanely awkward with this entire situation.

He tried to speak whilst rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

"Ahaha, uhhhh, hello there~ Yes, what Derek is saying is true, 'I' am actually Spencer, and, I am Logan's soulmate. Pleased to meet you"

After hearing Logan-er-Spencer speak, Trevor took on another few moments to register everything. Once those seconds had passed, realization had finally dawned upon Trevor.

Promptly, Trevor proceeded to laugh with great alacrity due to the hilarity of the situation.

Logan & Derek followed suit.

The three men were behaving like someone had just told them an incredible joke.

Needless to say, Spencer and the rest of the kitchen staff were left to stare at the laughing trio with great perplexion, as well as great awe with how passionately all of them were laughing.

'I guess we are having another laughing sesh. Just great. And to think that Logan would try to pretend to be an English Lord using my accent, how embarrassing! I think I'm beginning to truly understand why Diego & Jade always feel embarrassed whenever they reminisce back to their own bodyswap days..."

All three men were still laughing zealously.

But utimately, Spencer just couldn't help but smile at them. Deep down, he was actually glad that all three men were ultimately enjoying themselves. Logan's joyous laughter made Spencer's heart especially melt with happiness.

Chapter Text

Logan was literally having the time of his life. He never dreamed that he would have such an endless supply of fun in Spencer's body. The accent made him legit feel like some sort of high-class English dude, it was great.

Once the three grown men were finally done laughing like hyenas, while gaining some composure, Trevor began to speak:

"W-wow, Logan. You sure got me good. And... CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE FINALLY MET YOUR SOULMATE!!!"

Logan smiled sheepishly while rubbing the back of his head

"Haha, thanks Trev"

Trevor smiled at him excitedly

"Hold on just a sec"

Trevor faced towards his kitchen staff who were still curious about what was happening.

"Hey everyone, sorry about all the ruckus. Derek & I are just going to take our one hour break now. Will you guys be able to take care of everything for a bit?"

All the chefs, sous chefs and kitchen hands replied with a prompt

"Yes chef!"

Trevor smiled at them all with great satisfaction

"Thanks guys! If there is an emergency of any kind. Derek & I will just be in the staff room. Thanks again for all the support~"

The staff warmly acknowledged his gratitude and then swiftly went back to focusing on their own work.

Trevor then faced back towards Logan, Spencer & Derek

"Let's go into the staffroom, we should have just enough time for a quick catch up session. Plus, we want to get properly acquainted with your brand new hubby~"

Trevor gave Spencer a wink

Spencer blushed and smiled sheepishly

Trevor then started heading towards a staff room that was connected to the kitchen.

Derek followed him and insisted that the other two men follow them too.

Derek pointed at an empty counter where Logan could leave the box of fruit he helped Derek carry.

Once Logan put the box of fruit down, he held hands with Spencer again and both men followed the owners of the cafe into the staff room.

The staff room was incredibly large. It was also simple yet gorgeous. There were many fancy lockers for the staff to put their belongings in.

And, in the more living room area of the room where the staff would relax during their breaks, there were a bunch of mahogany tables and comfortable chairs where the staff could sit and eat their lunch.

There was also a personal staff kitchen where staff could cook and prepare their own lunch or just reheat what they brought in using the microwave.

Derek & Trevor sat down on a table next to a beautiful, massive window. Outside, you could see the entrance to the beautiful Metropolitan Park Garden that had beautiful flowers and an enormous water fountain. It was a very popular place in the city as there was also a massive, practically luminous lake at the centre of the park

Logan gently led Spencer to the table and both men sat down on the opposite side of Derek & Trevor.

Once sat, all men sat in comfortable silence for about five seconds before Trevor excitedly broke the ice.

"You guys don't know how excited
Derek & I are! We've been waiting in great anticipation for the day Logan would meet his soulmate. And now, we can FINALLY go on double dates together!!"

Logan's eyes widened sharply in realization

"Holy shit man, you're right! We can actually go on double dates now. And...I won't have to feel like the third wheel either!"

Derek agreed wholeheartedly with both men

"Yes FINALLY, now we can actually go to another restaurant for once instead of the three of us having a majority of our get togethers at this cafe. Thank god Spencer was found today"

Trevor agreed with his husband

"You're so right Derek! Thank god"

Trevor then looked eagerly towards Spencer

"Anyhow, it's so great to finally meet you Spencer! Please tell us everything! I imagine it must've been quite a shock swapping bodies out of nowhere. I hear that you guys feel some kind of pressure in your body before switching. I hope it wasn't painful..."

Derek continued

"Yeah man, that kind of experience sounds crazy scary. Trevor & I were able to notice each other right away in our first encounter, so we wouldn't be able to imagine what it feels like. Speaking of which, you guys feeling okay??"

Spencer responded warmly:

"First of all, I wanted to say I am incredibly happy to meet the both of you. And, thank you both for your concern. Currently, I would say that the both of us are feeling very good. And, it's true, the both of us did feel a pressure in our bodies before the switch. But, it wasn't painful or anything like that. It actually felt amazing! I guess you could say this pressurised feeling was, in a sense, trying to tell us that we were about to experience something we would cherish for the rest of our lives..."

Spencer felt bashful as he was trying to explain what the pressure felt like. It felt like he was revealing something embarassing and super personal, even though the reunification process is basucally a universal experience.

The fact that Trevor & Derek were listening to his words with intense curiosity and with the raptest of attention also made him feel even more bashful.

Thankfully, Logan took away some of their attention for a bit by corroborating:

"Yeah dudes, that pressure was hella crazy. But it felt sooooo good. To think this phenomena would occur on my first day at the water park too, it's honestly kinda insane"

Derek & Trevor looked as if they were just reminded of something.

"Oh shit dude, that's right. You started your new job today" Derek realised

"Oh no, i hope you guys didn't experience any difficulties" Derek hoped worriedly

"Nah, Spencer & I swapped when we both finished with our work shifts. So, everything was thankfully able to go smoothly. I'm so glad Spencer's work friends were there to help me when I woke up"

Spencer felt the same as Logan:

"Yes, the same goes for me with Logan's friend and supervisor. Them being there made things so much easier!"

Trevor & Derek seemed relieved that nothing undesirable occurred for their friends once they switched. But still, they thought the experience must've still been bonkers. It is bodyswap, after all.

Both men practically begged Logan & Spencer to describe in detail what exactly happened when they switched.

Logan & Spencer were happy to comply and proceeded to explain all that they experienced when they awoke in each other's bodies.

Needless to say, Trevor & Derek were incredibly entertained by their stories.

Trevor & Derek were listening to Logan & Spencer enthusiastically. Their stories were just so fascinating!

After all, soulmate bodyswap is such an interesting phenomena, especially if it's something you personally have never experienced...

Currently, Spencer was finishing off telling his own bodyswap experience

"And that's when I spotted myself, as in Logan, standing next to the café gate. And, promptly, we both *cough* briskly walked towards each other and gave each other our warmest greetings and hugs. After another few moments, Derek then appeared"

Derek cheekily replied "I sure did~ And boy, were you guys hugging each other TIGHT. It looked as if you would need a massive shoehorn to separate the both of you~*

Spencer & Logan blushed

Trevor gushed

"Aww~ that's so romantic~"

Spencer attempted to regain some composure

"Well anyhow *cough* that's everything we experienced so far. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just your ordinary bodyswap experience story I'd say. We apologize if it wasn't as exciting as you expected..."

Derek responded promptly

"Dude, are you kidding??? That was absolutely an exciting experience to hear about! Your stories didn't need to be super flashy or exciting, we just wanted to hear something organic and real"

Trevor agreed

"Exactly! Plus, stories about the reunification phenomena are always exciting to hear about, no matter how mundane the experiences may seem to the participants"

Spencer smiled gratefully

"Well shucks, thanks lads. Your enthusiasm is much appreciated"

Derek & Trevor snickered

"Sorry dude, it's still so surreal hearing Logan's voice speaking so articulatedly British"

Trevor agreed again

"Yeah it's actuall extraordinary...I like it!"

For the millionth time that day, Spencer began to feel bashful

"Ahaha, yes. I imagine it must be an incredibly strange experience"

Logan began giggling next to him

"Yeah, and an insanely fun experience too. This accent of yours is so insanely hot Spencer~ Excited to hear it for the rest of my life~"

Spencer reciprocated

"Same goes for you sweetheart~ I absolutely adore the boyish sound of your manly voice~"

Before Spencer & Logan could become even more flirty with each other

Derek had just noticed the time

"Oh shit! break time is almost over..."

Trevor began to feel gloomy

"Awwwwww, and we were having so much fun too..."

Logan reassured them

"Don't worry bro, we will make sure to have a proper get together soon~"

Derek agreed

"Most definitely we will. You guys are on your paid sabbatical, right?"

Logan & Spencer nodded

"Excellent!! Me & Trevor were going on a week of rest and relaxation in around three weeks time. We were actually planning on going on a trip. We would love it if the both of you could join~"

Trevor suddenly regained his energy and looked at his husband excitedly

"OH! Great idea Derek!"

Trevor faced towards Logan & Spencer eagerly

"Please join us guys! We are going to a super fabulous hotel. Plus, Derek's old buddy Moose owns the whole establishment! So basically, it's practically an all expenses paid trip!"

Spencer & Logan looked at each other excitedly. They both nodded at each other with instant understanding and agreement and proceeded to give Derek & Trevor their response

"We'd love to go!" They responded in unison

Derek & Trevor were pleased

"Great! I'll let Moose know that the four of us will be attending his amazing hotel"

Suddenly, Logan's stomach growled

Logan blushed

Trevor giggled and said

"Anyways, my guess is that you guys must be starving. Especially after experiencing such a long, exciting day as today. We both insist that you guys have dinner here! Our treat!"

Spencer & Logan were beginning to get excited.

"Oh, thank you so much! The both of you are absolute angels! So thankful Logan has amazing friends such as yourself~ Believe it or not, I actually had to skip breakfast, and only had a bit of trail mix for lunch"

"Duuuude, no wonder why my stomach feels so empty"

Logan's stomach growled again

"You really need to take care of your body Spence. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all"

Spencer rubbed the back of his head sheepishly

"Haha, sorry bruv. If I had known we were going to switch today, I would have awoken earlier and have eaten a big, nutritious breakfast for you..."

"Awwww bro, that's so sweet of you~"

Derek cleared his throat

Both men turned their attention towards him

"As cute as it is to see you guys being all gushy over each other, Trevor & I really need to get going. In the meantime, why don't you guys go into one of our special VIP rooms for some privacy. We thankfully have one that is completely free, which is lucky cause normally all six of them are normally booked. Logan knows where they are right?"

Logan promptly nodded

"Perfect, we also have menus in the room. So you guys feel free to order as much as you want. It's all on us~"

Derek gave them a wink

"I hope you two lovebirds enjoy your dinner date~"

Trevor cooed

Derek laughed

Logan & Spencer blushed and also laughed bashfully

"Haha, thank you" they said in unison

Thus, the mini double-date was officially concluded

All four men promptly went back into the kitchen.

Derek & Trevor prepared to go back to work. They also waved at Logan & Spencer symbolising their message 'goodbye for now~'

Spencer & Logan also waved back at them and immediately proceeded to exit the kitchen, with Spencer following Logan to this so-called VIP room

Once they were back in the actual dining area, both men noticed the cafe was still packed to the brim with happy customers.

Spencer thought it was nice how this cafe had a way of making you feel at home. And honestly, Spencer wasn't surprised the café had such great atmosphere. Derek & Trevor had this way of making everyone feel welcome.

Spencer noticed that Logan was heading towards a hallway that had 6 doors on their walls near the back of the cafe.

Once they entered the hallway together, Logan stopped at a door with an empty room, they both proceeded to enter.

The VIP room was expectedly very stylish. It was basically like one of the private rooms one would get at a Japanese karaoke bar. It had magnificent booths with a beautiful table. The room also had a window with an amazing view of the Metropolitan Park Garden. And the lighting! The lighting and decorations were absolutely mesmerizing!

Logan & Spencer promptly sat down next to each other at the booth.

As this room was VIP, no waiter or waitress would come to them personally to ask what they wanted. Instead, there was a tablet that they would need to use to order their food instead. This meant both men could look at the menu without any rush.

After perusing the menu together, Spencer chose to have fish & chips with a side of pasta salad.

Contrastingly, Logan chose to have a beef burger with fries and a side of garden salad.

Both men opted to have both water as well as two glasses of lemonade with their meals

In an attempt to use their time efficiently, both men decided they may as well order dessert as well.

"Dude, Zaid told me the crepes here are to die for. So, I think I'm going to have the strawberry crepe with vanilla ice cream. What will you have Spence?"

"Hmmm, there are certainly a lot of amazing choices. I'm honestly not sure what to choose. What do you normally have when you are at this cafe?"

"Well, one of my favorite desserts to have at this café is the banana ice cream sundae"

Spencer smiled excitedly

"Excellent! I'll have that then~"

Logan blushed

"You sure dude? I don't want you to feel pressured to order it just because it is my favorite..."

"Of course! The sundae sounds absolutely delectable. Plus, I want to get to know what kinds of foods you like too~"

Spencer gave Logan a loving gaze

Logan's heart practically melted from Spencer's sweetness

"Awwwww that's so nice"

With that, the men had officially ordered everything they needed.

All they needed to do now was wait.

In the meantime, they would continue to enjoy each other's company~ 💖

"Dude! You watch Soluna Island Survival too!?!?"

"Haha yes! I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I must say, I am absolutely ADDICTED to this particular reality show"

"DUDE, SAME. Who do you think you will be rooting for in the new upcoming season by the way?? Personally, after watching their audition tapes online, I think I might be rooting for Ernesto & Dunia"

"Great choices lad! As for me, I think I may be leaning more towards Ara & Finn"

"Oooooo~ interesting choices~"

Currently, Logan & Spencer were enjoying their meal while talking about their favourite reality TV show. They talked about their favorite challenges from the show. They also passionately discussed the juicy drama that occurred between the actual challengers in past seasons.

Spencer mentioned that his favorite contestant in the past seasons was a Turkish-British man named Alec. But only in season one though. Spencer didn't really like him in the All Stars season because of some questionable choices he made after season one ended. Logan thought that was fair, but he couldn't help but also feel sorry for the poor guy.

Logan mentioned that his favorites were Ashley & Tom. Spencer couldn't help but smile at Logan's choices. He felt they fit Logan's character perfectly. After all, Ashley & Tom were, from what Spencer saw, sweet and kind just like Logan was.

As they were further discussing the upcoming fifth season of their favourite reality show, Logan & Spencer couldn't help but imagine themselves in a survivor style show like that, competing for a million dollars. Needless to say, they were having endless amounts of fun talking about it.

While eating, Logan & Spencer also halved each other's salads and shared half of their own salad with the other. Having only one type of salad was kinda boring after all. Plus, sharing food with each other made them feel even closer. Additionally, they were both also feeling bashful deep down as they internalized that this particular gesture could be considered romantic.

Needless to say, they were incredibly enjoying their dinner together.

Before their food arrived, Logan & Spencer also got to know more about each other's personal lives.

First thing they talked about was each other's families.

Spencer told Logan that he had two sisters and that he was the middle child. His older sister Evelyn was a scholar. His younger sister Alice was currently enrolled in her second year of university back in England. His mother Charlotte used to be a culinary chef, but now she was a Home Economics and an Acting professor at a university in London. His father George also worked as a Physics professor at the same university.

Needless to say, It was kinda obvious to tell where Evelyn & Spencer got their career inspirations from.

Logan also reciprocated and told Spencer that he had a brother and a sister and that he was the oldest. His younger brother Flynn and his younger sister Danielle were still in school. His mother Vivienne was a professional photographer. And, his Grandfather Bruce also stays with his family in Canada too.

Logan mentioned that he had a Dad too, but they are no longer a part of each other's lives. Logan didn't look like he wanted to talk much about him either, so Spencer made sure not to pry.

Logan & Spencer were absolutely excited to introduce their families to their significant others. Boy, would they be surprised when they found out that they swapped bodies.

Anyhow, after they finished talking about their families, Logan mentioned to Spencer that he was an Olympic swimmer and that he won Bronze for Canada in the past. Spencer was elated and super proud to hear this.

As Spencer was excitedly congratulating Logan, their food and drinks had finally arrived and was placed beautifully on the stylish table. Logan & Spencer thanked their waiters thoroughly.

As they began to dig in, they pivoted their conversation topics to each other's likes and interests. Spencer mentioned how much he absolutely loved remote control toy cars. Logan thought that was immensely cool and insisted that they should play with some in the future, to which Spencer happily agreed to.

Logan then mentioned that he loved video games, including Pokemon. Spencer was excited to say that he loved Pokemon too! Both men then told each other which Pokemon were their personal favourites and which ones they would choose as their ace. Logan excitedly informed Spencer that Dragon type was his ultimate favourite type of Pokemon and that Salamence would be his ace. Spencer mentioned that his ace would be Sirfetch'd and that his favourite legendary was Mewtwo.

Their conversation about their favourite video games inevitably pivoted into a conversation about their favorite TV shows, which is what influenced them to ultimately talk about Soluna Island Survival.

Eventually, whilst having an endless supply of fun talking and getting to know each other, Logan & Spencer finished their meals. Both men made sure to down their cups of lemonade too, making sure not to waste a single drop.

Logan felt this lemonade tasted equally as amazing and refreshing as the one Zaid gave him earlier that day.

Spencer on the other hand knew that this lemonade was obviously incredibly more tastier than the lemon mineral water he had earlier that day. But, both drinks were greatly and equally revitalizing he concluded.

"Man, I'm stuffed"

Logan sat back in a relaxed position with his back fully on the soft, sofa-like booth. He was rubbing his tummy too.

Spencer giggled and responded

"Me too bruv. The food here is absolutely scrumptious! Looking forward to the dessert~"

As soon as Spencer said that, as if they somehow magically heard him, two waiters knocked and came into their private room to drop off their dessert and to take away their empty plates. Logan & Spencer once again expressed their gratitude to the kind workers.

After they left, Logan & Spencer looked at their desserts excitedly.

Both men felt the strongest urge to share their desserts with each other. So, once again they halved their food and provided half of it to their significant other.

Afterwards, both men proceeded to enjoy

Logan took a bite of the strawberry crepe first. It was absolute bliss!

"Holy shit, Zaid was right! This crepe is INSANE"

Spencer also proceeded to take a bite from the banana ice cream sundae.

Spencer felt like he was in heaven, this sundae was just too good~

"Oh Lord, that's delicious. I can see why this is your favourite dessert~"

Both men gleefully continued to enjoy each other's company infinitely whilst finishing their desserts together.

What an amazing dinner date.

Logan & Spencer felt absolutely fulfilled.

Both men already finished their desserts and were now just relaxing and chatting, enjoying the ambience and atmosphere of their private room.

Currently, they were sharing their favourite childhood memories with each other.

Spencer told Logan a funny story of how Evelyn stole some money from their dad's wallet as kids to buy some sweets to share with him and Alice. Naturally, they were caught and reprimanded. But still, it was a very fun memory for Spencer.

Logan on the other hand told Spencer of the fun holidays he went with his family and about how much he loved swimming in a freshwater lake with Flynn & Danielle. He also told Spencer the intense fun he had swimming as a kid is what influenced him to pursue swimming as a passion too.

"That's amazing Logan~ The fact that you knew what you wanted to do when you were so young. I honestly didn't know what I wanted to be until I was much older. All I knew was that I wanted to do something related to Mathematics. That, or go into a profession making toy cars or something haha"

"Haha that sounds incredibly fun Spence. I bet your toy cars would've been super fun to play with~"

"Haha I certainly would hope so"

Just then, Spencer looked out the window and was reminded of the beautiful Metropolitan Park Garden.

As it was night time, the park had been beautifully lit with luminous lights all throughout. The beautiful, colourful flowers were as clear as day. And the magnificent fountain was gushing with beautiful blue water lit by both the park lights and the moonlight.

There was also many people in the park going for a walk and enjoying the fresh nighttime air, even though it was dark out, which is honestly rather typical for a city as big as this.

"You know Logan, your memories of swimming at the lake have really inspired me. Why don't we go for a walk around the lake inside the park?"

Logan perked up at this idea

"Great idea Spencer! That will also give us the opportunity to hopefully burn off some calories from tonight's dinner~"

"Haha true true"

Both men got up from their booth seats and stretched.

Before they left the room, they thought it would be a good idea to swap their belongings now before they forgot.

Spencer gave Logan his phone, wallet & keys.

Logan gave Spencer his briefcase & phone.

Afterwards, both men proceeded to exit their private room and began to head towards the counter to pay.

Coincidentally, Derek & Trevor were both already at the counter wrapping up some pastries for some customers.

Once they both saw Logan & Spencer, they gave them a super friendly smile.

Trevor spoke first

"Hey fellas~ I hope you two lovebirds enjoyed your dinner~"

"Yeah bros, we hope everything was to your liking~" Derek continued

Logan & Spencer eagerly replied

"Everything was delicious as always! Thanks so much again guys, I owe you both big time" Logan expressed warmly

"Indeed, everything was beyond delicious! We honestly can't thank both you gentlemen enough for your immense generosity" Spencer added

"All good man" Derek responded

"It's our pleasure" Trevor added

Just then both men noticed Logan & Spencer were about to take out their wallets

"No bros, dinner is on us tonight" Derek insisted

"Yeah, we will definitely NOT be accepting money today. And Logan, how many times do we have to tell you that we insist that you always eat here for free"

Logan rubbed the back of his head sheepishly

"I know dudes, it's just I still feel like I would be taking advantage of you if I accepted that offer"

"Well don't, Logan. You're basically family to us"

"Yeah, our brother from another mother"

Logan's felt his heart melt from his friends' sweetness

Spencer didn't really understand what was going on between the three men. But still, their heart-warming bromance brought a warm smile to his face.

"Awwww, you guys are legit the best"

Logan then impulsively gave both men a hug, to which both men reciprocated by hugging Logan back tighter.

'That's so sweet~' Spencer thought

Spencer thought all three men were just too cute! Spencer also couldn't help but feel guilty that Logan was unable to hug them using his own body.

Spencer felt like his own personal body was like an alien intruder that was intruding in something special that should only belong to those three men AND their own personal bodies.

'Sorry love..." Spencer internally apologized to Logan

Anyhow, after all three men were done expressing their affection

They all let go of each other and Derek & Trevor went to the counter to get something

Once they returned, they handed Logan a paper bag

"Here Logan. Have some of our delicious raspberry jam danishes with Spencer. It can be a late night snack for the both of you~" Trevor explained

"Yeah, these pastries are one of our personal favourites~ We hope you both enjoy~" Derek added

"Thanks dudes!" Logan expressed

"Thank you!" Spencer exclaimed

"Haha our pleasure" Trevor responded

"So, what do you guys plan on doing now?"

"Logan & I thought we would head towards the park garden and have a walk around the lake" Spencer responded

Trevor perked up when he heard this

"That's so romantic! We hope you lovebirds have a lovely night~"

"Yeah bros, We hope you have an amazing night. And don't forget we are going to the hotel in three weeks. I will message Logan all the details soon~" Derek reminded

"Yeah! We are going to have so much fun~" Trevor added

Logan & Spencer smiled at them excitedly

"Thanks guys! We are sooo looking forward to it!"

"Yes, thank you so much! And I must say it has been my absolute pleasure meeting the both of you~" Spencer gratefully expressed

Derek & Trevor happily responded

"We absolutely loved meeting you too!" Trevor exclaimed

"Yeah bro, don't be a stranger. We'll be expecting to see you here all the time with Logan. Plus, we definitely must go on double dates together" Derek insisted

"Haha, and indeed we shall" Spencer promisd

Afterwards, all four men gave each other their farewells

All four men waved goodbye towards each other as Spencer & Logan were headed towards the door

Spencer was the first to exit

Before Logan could leave:

"Next time you come, make sure to tell us all the juicy details of the raunchy fun you have in Spencer's body alone tonight!~"

Derek shouted

Some customers that were close by stared in Logan's direction with intense curiosity

Logan blushed furiously and slammed the door shut.

Derek & Trevor began laughing like hyenas.

Logan & Spencer were walking together.

As it was a peaceful city night, both men were incredibly relaxed as they walked from the café to the entrance of the Metropolitan Park Garden.

Spencer noticed Logan seemed a little flustered when he came out of the café.

He asked Logan if he was okay, to which Logan reassured everything was fine and that he was just looking forward to spending time with him at the lake.

Spencer noticed Logan was feeling kinda bashful as he gave his answer, so he decided to just accept his explanation and drop the subject.

Anyhow, both men enjoyed each other's company in silence as they walked to the Park's entrance.

Once the Park's doorless gate was in view, Logan & Spencer were instantly blessed with the beautiful sight of the lustrous water fountain and the blossoming gardens filled with gorgeous flowers.

The street lamps as well as the natural light coming from the moon above was able to light up the park entirely, making sure that all pathways and park amenities were absolutely clear for visitors to see.

The lights were able to fully illustrate the beauty of the garden flowers and the gushing blue water from the fountain.

Logan & Spencer noticed there were also quite a few other people at the park, all enjoying a nice night time walk.

"Welp, looks like we've arrived Spence~"

"Haha yes, looks like we certainly have"

Both men headed through the gate and walked towards the fountain

As they reached it, both men's eyes were mesmerized by the beauty of the fountain. It's shining blue water was gushing from the smallest top layer of the fountain and was falling beautifully down to each subsequently larger layer of the fountain until it finally reached the bottom layer where people would throw their pennies to make wishes.

Funnily, on the top layer of the fountain, there was an interesting statue of two penguins giving each other a tight hug with water gushing out of their eye sockets. The penguins faces were looking upwards and past each other's necks too. There mouths were also opened wide, giving the illusion that they were both having a loud, emotional cry.

It honestly looked as if they were long lost lovers who were super emotional after a long-awaited reunion.

Logan & Spencer thought it looked funny.

"Awwww, those penguins are so cute and funny~"

"Haha indeed they are. I bet our siblings would just love to see this"

"Definitely! Let's make sure to bring them here when they come to visit us~"

"Great idea lad! I'm looking forward to meeting Danielle & Flynn~"

"Haha, the same goes for me! So looking forward to meeting Evelyn & Alice. To think, I would go from having one sister to three in just one day. I'm so lucky!"

"I know right! I absolutely love my sisters, so having another brand new third sister for me to love is honestly a blessing~ Also, I've never had a brother before, so I'm excited to experience that kind of relationship too~"

Spencer & Logan both couldn't help but let loose a super warm smile on their faces. Their loving family was becoming bigger and they were incredibly excited. Both men were looking forward to all the fun memories they would create with them in their future.

Both men stood together and continued to observe the beauty of the fountain, which they discovered was called 'First Encounter Fountain' on a plaque attached to its side.

From it's name, both men were able to instantly ascertain that the fountain was based on the concept of soulmatism. This honestly wasn't surprising since soulmatism was a universal experience that everyone couldn't help but focus on.

After both men were done admiring the fountain, they began to walk down a pathway that would lead to the park's amazing lake.

As they were walking, both men couldn't help but start to snicker at the dramatic reactions of the penguin statues that met their soulmate for the first time.

Crying expressively whilst giving a super tight hug in your first encounter would certainly be an eventful first soulmate meeting, that's for sure.

Logan & Spencer couldn't help but giggle humorously at the imagery of such a scenario.

But honestly, deep down, Logan & Spencer couldn't help but relate. It was an incredibly blessed and emotional experience after all...

Logan & Spencer were enjoying their night time walk. Both men decided to take the longest pathway towards the lake so that they could further enjoy the beauty of the luscious gardens filled to the brim with flowers.They were also happily chatting as they were walking.

As they were talking, Logan remembered something important he wanted to talk to Spencer about.

"You know Spencer, Diego was telling me about his own body swap experiences earlier. And, I think—"

"Wait, hold on a second. Diego spoke about his own bodyswap???"

"Uhhhhh, yeah?"

"Woah..."

"What's wrong Spence?"

Spencer began to chuckle

"Nothing nothing, it's just, it's basically impossible to get Diego to talk about his own reunification phenomena so willingly. So, to hear you say that he spoke about it with you voluntarily is a pleasant surprise"

Logan smiled sheepishly

"Yeah, I guess he could sense me feeling nervous and wanted to comfort me. So glad you have him as a friend~"

"Yeah, me too"

"How did you two meet anyway?"

"Haha, well you see, Diego & I went to the same university in London. One night, a museum close to our campus was having a fascinating star-gazing exhibit. And, since I love star-gazing, I decided to attend"

Logan was listening with rapt attention. He absolutely loved hearing stories about new friendships forming.

"Anyway, once I arrived, I was having problems with one of the available telescopes. That's when Diego noticed me and came up to me to offer his help"

Spencer proceeded to place both his arms and his briefcase behind his head casually

"Afterwards, we properly introduced ourselves to each other and started to stargaze together. Naturally, we became fast friends and have remained so ever since"

Logan thought that was sweet

"Awwww, what a great story. And, to think you guys would also be working at the same university in the future. What are the odds??"

"Pretty high actually, it's thanks to Diego I was able to get this job. He recommended me"

Logan's opinion of Diego skyrocketed. The man is a literal angel!

"Wow, Diego is the best!"

'He also reminds me a lot of Richard too' Logan thought

"Haha, indeed he is. And it's through him I was able to be introduced to my other friends Zaid & Jade. And, he too became good friends with one of my own best friends, Benji"

Logan smiled and replied "That's awesome dude"

"And what about you Logan?"

"Hmmm?"

"How did you become great friends with Trevor and Derek? Being friends with the owners of such an amazing café sounds like a very exciting experience"

Logan thought back fondly to the times he spent with Derek & Trevor.

He then proceeded to tell Spencer the entire, exciting story of how he met them.

Spencer was beyond awestruck

"Holy shit Logan, you are a hero!"

Spencer couldn't help but feel incredibly proud of Logan

'My soulmate a hero...what a blessed man I am'

Logan was beginning to feel bashful from Spencer's awe of him

"Aww, it's really nothing really. I honestly only did what any person would do in an emergency like that"

"No, no lad. You saved a life. That's absolutely nothing to downplay. Be proud of yourself and let people love you for the hero you are. You deserve it!"

Logan blushed and rubbed the back of his head

"Awwww gee, thanks Spencer"

"No problem lad!"

Logan & Spencer continued enjoying the beautiful flowers together. They stopped at both a rose and a lavender bush to sniff the beautiful fragrances provided by the flowers.

As they were enjoying themselves, Spencer also asked Logan how he met Marissa & her wife Anastasia. Logan told Spencer that he met Anastasia through his best friend and big sister figure, Natalia. It turned out Natalia was a publicist for Anastasia, who happened to be a pretty famous model. And, ultimately, by becoming friends with Anastasia, Logan was able to become friends with Marissa as well.

Spencer was amazed with all the famous and well-established people Logan was friends with.

And Logan himself was a bronze medal winning Olympic swimmer too!

Spencer was beginning to feel kinda shy as he felt he was rather lackluster and boring in comparison. He was personally nothing special he felt, just a professor of Mathematics. Spencer felt kinda guilty that Logan was left stuck with a boring soulmate like himself...

Sensing that Spencer was feeling down for some reason, Logan grabbed his hand so that both men could walk hand-in-hand again. He didn't want Spencer to feel sad or alone.

Spencer thought the gesture was super sweet. It instantly made him feel better too.

"Oh look, we're here!~" Logan exclaimed

And he was right, both men reached the beautiful lake located at the center of the park.

There were quite a few people sitting on the grassy area next to the lake.

There were some couples enjoying a sweet night time picnic next to the lake.

There were also few joggers and ordinary walkers moving along in the massive pathway that was next to the grassy area. The pathway surrounded the entire lake and roundabout-ed back towards where Logan & Spencer were located.

Logan & Spencer noticed that there were a bunch of fireflies flying over the mesmerizing lake too.

Indeed, both men were glad they were there together to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Chapter Text

Logan & Spencer were currently sitting right next to each other in the grass next to the lake.

They were thoroughly enjoying the view. The fireflies that were flying above the lake were glowing vibrantly, creating especially beautiful scenery.

Both men were chatting, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere surrounding them.

"You know, looking at this lake right now, I just remembered that I once had a student named Lake three years ago"

"Really?? That's a cool name. I hope they were friendly~"

"Thankfully they were, and incredibly respectful too. I heard from the Latin American History professor Rosá Maria that she had a super strict and awful home life. So, the fact that she was able to thrive despite the undesirable circumstances of her home life is absolutely inspiring"

Logan felt saddened to hear this

"Awwwwww, I hope she's doing ok..."

"She is! Rosá Maria felt bad for Lake and insisted on helping to free her from her family. So, once Lake graduated, she moved in with Rosá Maria and her daughter"

"That's awesome!"

"It is! And, before Lake graduated, she became valedictorian too! It was nice to see her thriving and finding happiness with Rosá. Reminds me of when I was a valedictorian for Mathematics when I attended university, although my situation was different as I was blessed with a loving family"

"And thank GOD for that! Also...you were a valedictorian??? Dude, that's awesome! I'm so lucky to have a super smart soulmate like yourself~"

Spencer blushed and felt his heart melt from Logan's loving words.

Even though Logan didn't know that Spencer was feeling insecure for being a rather lackluster soulmate, it was as if he magically knew the exact words to say to make Spencer feel better.

"Haha, and I am beyond lucky to have a soulmate as wondrous as you~"

Just then, Spencer leaned his head into Logan's shoulder. Logan in return leaned his head onto Spencer's head.

Both men felt incredibly happy. Although, they thought it was still kinda awkward since it was their own body that they were snuggling up to. The experience was still kinda surreal.

Both men sat in silence. They were feeling incredibly content. It has been an absolutely magnificent day. And sitting here, enjoying the view of the Metropolitan Park Garden's magnificent lake was the perfect way to end it.

The fireflies were absolutely mesmerizing, the way they lighted up the water, creating a beautiful reflection of lights.

After another few minutes, both men felt rested and decided to walk around the lake once before exiting the park.

They both got up and wiped any residual grass that got stuck to their clothes off.

They then headed back to the pathway. Once they were back on solid ground, they began their walk again.

As they were walking, Spencer remembered that Logan wanted to tell him something.

"By the way Logan, you mentioned that you wanted to say something. Something about Diego or something he said?"

Logan perked up from the reminder

"Oh yes! Thanks for the reminder Spencer"

"All good. Now, what were you trying to tell me?"

Logan started getting kinda bashful

Spencer was wondering why until Logan started speaking

"Well...Diego was saying that bodyswapping is kinda an awkward experience..."

"Haha, that's certainly an understatement~"

"Haha, yeah. Well, he mentioned he personally was able to get over his own awkwardness by moving in with his fiancé and by living together for the entire duration of their phenomena. That way, they were able to get to know each other and build trust"

Spencer pondered this thoughtfully

"Hmmm, that sounds quite logical"

"Right!? So, I was wondering, if you were willing, if you would like to move in together as well?"

Spencer smiled and replied

"Sure thing, sounds like a great idea. But whose home should we live together in?"

Logan pondered and replied

"How about we take turns? You can stay with me at my place this week. And, next week we can go to your place"

"Sounds good to me. Then, how about we both go to our own home's tonight and get things prepared. Afterwards, I will come over to your place tomorrow with a few of my things"

"Sounds like a plan!"

Logan felt relieved and excited. Hopefully, by moving in together, both men would grow even closer with each other.

"Since it's getting rather late Spence, how about coming to my place tomorrow evening? I don't want you to feel like you have to rush. Plus, this way you can sleep in and get some much needed rest too. Plus, it will give you extra time to double check that you have everything you need before you arrive at my place"

"Great idea lad! That's very sweet of you, thank you~"

"My pleasure~I want you to be as comfortable as possible after all~"

Both men smiled warmly at each other before looking forward again and continuing their walk.

They were incredibly excited at the thought of living together.

As they were walking, both men continued to enjoy the beautiful scenery provided by the massive lake and lustrous fireflies.

Logan & Spencer had just finished walking one lap around the beautiful lake.

They were now back at the pathway entrance from which they arrived at the lake from.

Both men gave one final mesmerized look at the magnificent scene of fireflies lighting up the lake before they focused on the pathway back towards the Park's entrance.

As they were walking back, both men made sure to promptly swap phone numbers so that they could contact each other.

Once their contact infos were added to each other's phones, they immediately messaged each other the address to their own homes. They also gave each other their emails as well as friended each other on their social media accounts.

Finally, after both men exchanged all the information they needed, they were able to enjoy the gardens once more before arriving at the fountain and the entrance.

They gave one final look at the funny soulmate penguin statues before they exited the Metropolitan Park Garden.

"Wow, what a fun night we had~" Logan expressed

"Yes, this has honestly been one of the best nights I have ever had" Spencer replied lovingly

Logan looked in Spencer's direction lovingly. For the umpteenth time that night, he grabbed onto Spencer's hand so that both men could walk hand in hand.

"Same, dude. Same"

Both men were walking together in comfortable silence. They got to know a lot about each other, and it was only the first day!

They were nervous yet excited about what the future holds in store for them.

As they were walking together, both men took this time to think to themelves.

'Blimey, it sure has been a fulfilling day. I'm so exhausted...' Spencer thought

He then checked his phone and noticed that it was ten o'clock.

'It sure is late...I wonder if everyone back home will be available for a video call once I get home. They'll certainly be surprised by my new body'

Spencer looked at his hand and down at the uniform he was wearing

'Looks like I'll be alone in Logan's body tonight...'

Spencer began to blush. He couldn't help but feel incredibly shy. Even though almost everyone experiences the reunification phenomena, nobody really prepares you for feeling like you are invading a poor individual's privacy...

Spencer's mind then began to drift towards Logan's *cough* more private areas.

His blush deepend as a result.

Spencer began to mentally reprimand himself

'Oh no. No no no. Bad Spencer! Bloody hell...I need to make sure that I...respect Logan's privacy at all costs!!"

With newfound resolve, Spencer banished all potential thoughts that could lead him to *cough* sensitive areas.

He then began to recollect all the wonderful things he learned about Logan. Needless to say, these thoughts prompted an impulsive and warm smile from Spencer.

Meanwhile, Logan too was thinking:

'Phew, this suit sure is stuffy. Can't wait to put on some sweatpants and a T-shirt when I get back'

He then checked his phone and noticed that Richard was online on one of the social media apps he uses

'Cool, Richard is online. I wonder if he would mind me calling him once I get home. Speaking of which, I better video call the fam too. They're gonna be hella surprised to see me!'

Logan then looked down at his body

'I bet they'll be especially surprised to see that I am in the body of a hot English man, whose body I will be alone in tonight...'

Logan began to blush and shook his head to prevent some *cough* particular thoughts.

Instead, he began to think about what an enjoyable time he had with Spencer today. Said thoughts also influenced a warm smile on Logan's face.

Eventually, after walking a little bit more , both men reached another street. Both men also began to feel sad as this is the street where they would need to separate as their homes were located in separate direction. But, they reassured themselves by remembering that they would see each other again tomorrow

"Well, looks like the time for us to separate for the night has come Spence"

"I concur, looks like it's time for of us both to go home"

Logan looked down at the paper bag filled with danishes that Trevor & Derek gave him

He then promptly handed them to Spencer.

"Here Spencer! Please take these home with you. You can have them for breakfast or even have a midnight snack~"

Spencer took the bag from Logan's hand

"Thank you Logan. But, I would honestly prefer it if we shared them"

Spencer then looked inside the bag.

He then smiled and said

"Excellent! Looks like the danishes are wrapped in plastic. And there are four of them too~"

Spencer proceeded to take out two

"I'll take two in my briefcase, and you can take the rest in the paper bag. So excited to try them!"

Spencer handed Logan the bag with the remaining danishes

"Thanks Spencer, great idea~"

Once the danishes were divided and put away properly, both men then looked into each other's eyes.

They stood still, as if some kind of invisible force was preventing them from looking away from each other.

Just then, both men gave each other an impulsive and tight hug.

They both felt like they were on cloud nine at the physical contact.

After a few moments of enjoying each other's embrace in silence, Logan spoke first:

"Awww man, I wish we didn't have to separate..."

"Me too Logan, me too...But, it's only one night. I'll go home and get my things ready. Then, I'll make sure to come over rght away when I'm ready"

"Thanks man, I'm really looking forward to it. We are going to have so much fun together!~"

"Haha, indeed we shall~"

Both men gently let go of each other.

They gave each other a super loving smile

"It was an absolute honor meeting you Logan~"

"Thanks Spencer, I absolutely loved meeting you too~"

Spencer then put a hand on Logan's shoulder

Afterwards, both men began to finally part ways.

They waved goodbye to each other as they were walking in opposite directions.

Then, they focused their sights on their pathway towards their own home.

They were beyond excited to see each other again tomorrow~

After much walking, Logan finally reached his house.

'Phew, I'm exhausted'

He proceeded to take out his house keys and unlocked his front door.

Promptly, Logan entered his house. Everything was all still rather bizarre for him. Being in a new body low-key made him feel like he was invading his own home...

However, he knew that was not actually the case. This house belonged to him, just like this body belonged to him too, regardless of whether if he was occupying it or not. After all, soulmates literally belong to each other, right?

Logan was feeling a bit stuffy. Hence, he entered into his room and took off the suit that he was currently wearing and gently placed it on his bed.

Logan made sure to not to look down towards Spencer's boxers or his more private areas in hopes of respecting his soulmate's privacy. Although, deep down Logan knew this privacy respecting couldn't last forever...

Logan then opened up his wardrobe and began searching for something he could wear from amongst his clothes.

It seemed a lot of his clothes were a tad too big on Spencer's body. Hence, Logan opted to putting on a pair of pyjama pants that were originally too tight on his own body, but fit perfectly on this one.

Logan also put on one of his favorite blue t-shirts. It was slightly big on Spencer's body, but there was nothing Logan could do. He had no shirts or t-shirts that were smaller in size unfortunately.

After changing, Logan headed towards the kitchen. He placed the danishes his friends gave him in the fridge. He decided he would have them for breakfast.

Instead, Logan opted to have some banana bread slices, which his mum had sent him in a care package, as a late night snack. He placed a couple slices in a toaster and waited for them to heat up nicely. Logan also poured himself a nice, cold cup of milk.

Once Logan's banana bread was ready and toasted, he put them onto a plate and brought it along with his cup of milk to the coffee table in front of his couch.

Logan placed his meal on the table and sat himself on the couch.

Logan desperately needed to unwind. So, he grabbed his TV remote and began to stream a few episodes of his favorite comfort show, The Golden Girls.

After enjoying a couple episodes and enjoying his light meal, Logan decided he should finally share the news of his current situation with his family.

Logan turned off the TV and picked up his phone.

"Welp, here we go..."

Logan clicked on his mom's contact and began video calling her. After a few moments, his mom picked up. It seemed like his whole family was conveniently close by his mother too.

"...um, hello?" Logan's mom greeted, albeit confused since she didn't see her son's face.

"Hey mum, it's me, Logan!"

*********15 MINUTES OF EXPLANATIONS LATER*********

Logan's family just couldn't stop laughing. Needless to say, they were shocked to see a stranger's face when they received a video call from their beloved Logan. But, the shock immediately turned into euphoric glee once Logan explained the situation

Logan's grandpa, Bruce, looked especially pleased.

"My, my, what a handsome grandson...er...in-law?...i have" he complimented

Logan blushed and smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand

"Gee, thanks gramps!"

Logan's mum, Vivienne, also seemed rather giddy and emotional.

"My baby found his soulmate already?? And his soulmate is so handsome and posh too! I'm so happy I could just cry"

"Awwwwww mum, no need to cry."

Whilst his mother was overcome with emotion. Flynn & Danielle, on the other hand, were laughing heartily at their big brother. They were so excited that he found his soulmate. They were even more excited by the fact that he actually missed his first encounter with said soulmate and actually swapped bodies with him.

"Heya Logie, you look really handsome in that new body of yours~ you could be a hot super model!" Danielle complimented

"Awwww, thanks Dani!"

"Your accent is so funny man! You sound like you could be the butler to some random rich family" Flynn exclaimed

Logan chuckled. He then tried to give his best impression of a British butler

"Good evening young lord & young lady. Supper is almost ready. The chefs have prepared some clotted cream and jam for you to have with your whole wheat scones tonight. Would you like a cuppa tea to wash it down with?"

The awful butler impression combined with the natural, thick English accent exiting their eldest brother's mouth had Danielle & Flynn dying of laughter.

"No, please stop. I can't breathe!" Flynn exclaimed whilst laughing

"OH MY GOD Logan, this is just too funny haha!" Danielle added

Logan smiled at his siblings gleefully. He loved making them laugh.

Bruce & Vivienne chuckled alongside them.

Vivienne then noticed it was getting late.

"Alright everyone, time for all of you to head off to bed. Also, I'd like to talk with Logan privately if you don't mind"

Logan's grandpa Bruce was the first to give his farewell

"Goodnight Logan. Please call me if you need help with anything at all. We are all so proud and happy for you son"

"Thanks so much grandad`"

Flynn & Danielle also wished Logan a good night

"Good night Logan, please make sure to visit us soon. I can't wait to meet your soulmate!"

"Of course Dani, I'll make sure to come by super soon"

"Good night bro, please do some more impressions for us when you call us again tomorrow too"

"Sure thing Flynn *cough* it would be my absolute honor sire~"

Flynn chuckled

Bruce, Danielle & Flynn then exited the video call, leaving Logan alone with his mom.

"Oh Logan, I'm just so happy for you. I just know the both of you are going to have such a loving future. And, who knows, maybe soon start a family together~"

"Awww mom, we only just met today. I think it will be some time before we actually start thinking about starting our own family"

Vivienne chuckled

"You never know Logan, things have a way of changing and developing quickly in life"

"I guess so..."

Vivienne then asked Logan how his own body was. She was feeling a little uneasy that Logan wasn't able to monitor his own body 24/7. What if something bad happens???

Logan reassured her that his body would be fine. After all, it was being looked after by his one & only soulmate.

Vivienne knew he was right. But still, she couldn't help but worry. It was her baby boy's body after all.

"Awww mom, it's all going to be ok! Spencer and I are both fully grown men. Plus Spencer is a professor too! He seems like the super cautious and incredibly professional type. I'm not worried at all with my body being left alone with him"

"Alright then dear, I'll trust your intuition. I guess you should head off to bed then. It would be best for you to get as much rest as possible"

"Good idea. Good night mom. I love you~"

"Good night my dear. I love you too"

After wishing each other good night. Vivienne ended the call.

As soon as he finished his call

Logan received a message

It was Richard!

The message read:

'Hey Logan! How was your first day at the water park?'

Logan smiled. It was so sweet of Richard to check up on him this late at night. Logan decided that he would just call Richard right now.

Logan found Richard in his contacts then pressed the call button.

After a few seconds, Richard picked up.

"Heya Logan, how are ya buddy? How was your first day of work? Pablo & I are excited to hear how everything went~"

"Good evening good sir, Logan has had the most splendid day ever at the water park. He is most thankful to you & your dearest husband for guaranteeing his employment at this wondrous water wonderland. Pray tell, will you accept his sincerest gratitude?"

"What the?! Who are you?! And where is Logan?!"

It seems the unexpectedly thick English accent had caught Richard off guard and low-key freaked him out

Logan began to giggle intensely

"Richard, dude, It's me, Logan! I've experienced a lot of amazing things today, you'll hardly believe it!"

Logan then proceeded to explain everything to Richard.

"Wow Logan, to think you'd swap bodies with your soulmate at the end of your first shift at the water park. What an eventful day!"

"Dude I know right! I never would of dreamed that I would meet him this way. And he's so dreamy too! I kinda feel like a ghost who just possessed the body of a super hot English prince"

Richard began to laugh

"Well, best enjoy being alone with the body while you still can. After six weeks, you will both return to your own bodies after all"

"Wow, six weeks..."

"Yep, that's the standard Logan. You know, you guys swapping today reminds me of when I also swapped bodies with my own husband when we also missed our first encounter. Boy, what a time that was~"

"Dude, you swapped bodies too!? How come you never told me before???"

"Well honestly Logan, it's kinda embarrassing to think about. It was a super personal and *cough* intimate time for me & Pablo"

Logan blushed

"Oh..."

"If you're not too uncomfortable, I could share some stories with you if you want.

"Yes please! I would actually love to hear some stories. Maybe I could get an idea on how to go about this particular situation myself"

"Great idea! Well then, allow this old man to share his wisdom and some fun stories of when he occupied his husband's body"

Richard then proceeded to share with Logan some super juicy stories. And Logan ended up absorbing each and every detail with rapt attention.

'Damn, Richard, who knew you used to be so frisky...' Logan thought with a flushed face.

After walking a lot, Spencer finally arrived at his apartment complex.

Once he entered the building, he promptly climbed up the stairs until he finally reached the floor where his apartment was found.

Spencer made sure to tip-toe towards his apartment door. He didn't want to encounter any of his nosy neighbors, especially not in his current condition.

He also didn't want anyone to cause a ruckus and accuse him of being an intruder of some kind. 

Plus, he would rather tell people he swapped bodies in the morning. Cause right now, he was rather tired.

Once Spencer was in front of his door, he carefully took out his house keys and gently opened his door.

Once opened, he checked the hallways to make sure the coast was clear before he entered his apartment quietly and closed the door discreetly.

Once the door was fully closed, Spencer was able to finally relax.

'Home sweet home' Spencer thought as he entered his room. Spencer promptly put his briefcase and belongings on his bed. He then went to his wardrobe and took out the largest pair of sweatpants and T-shirt he owned. 

Funnily enough, Spencer accidentally bought a T-shirt and sweatpants that were rather big on him a while ago online. But, since Spencer had been so busy, he never found the opportunity to return them.

Thankfully he didn't, cause now he could use it on Logan's body.

Once he found the clothes he was looking for. Spencer proceeded to take off Logan's water park uniform, making sure to not look down at the boxers Logan was already wearing. For now, his new hubby's privacy would remain in-tact!

Spencer then proceeded to swiftly put on the sweatpants and T-shirt. Spencer smiled once he saw they fit absolutely perfectly on this body. Plus, the fabric used on this clothing company's brand is insanely high-quality and expensive, meaning they felt insanely comfortable. Spencer was thankful his money did not go to waste after all.

Anyhow, after he put on his clothes, Spencer proceeded to fold Logan's uniform neatly before placing it away. Spencer made a mental note to have it cleaned for Logan before he returned it to him.

Once that was done, Spencer took out the danishes as well as his phone from his briefcase.

He then entered into his living room and headed into the kitchen. He was starting to feel in a slightly snackish mood. So, he poured himself a cup of milk from his fridge and decided he would just have the danishes now.

Once his milk was poured, Spencer took his cup and danishes to the coffee table that was in between his couch and TV stand.

Spencer put down his meal on the table.

Finally, Spencer plopped himself on the couch and let loose a super satisfied sigh. Since he was on leave he decided he would just unwind.

Spencer turned on his TV and put on his favourite show, Cunk on Earth.

Once the episode he chose started playing, he took the cup of milk and an unwrapped Danish into his hands. He then placed his back against the couch, put up his feet on his coffee table and proceeded to relax and enjoy his meal.

After taking a first bite of the danish, Spencer felt like he was in absolute bliss. He made sure to make a mental note of thanking Derek & Trevor thoroughly the next time he saw them. He decided he would bring them a thank you gift too.

Anyhow, after enjoying a couple episodes and finishing his food, Spencer wondered if he should call his family now.

Spencer realized it would be around morning time back in London, so Evelyn and his parents would probably be busy right about now.

Alice, on the other hand, might be available. She normally starts her shift at a café she works at later in the afternoon. Plus, she had no classes at her university today. 

Hence, Spencer decided that his dear baby sister would be the first to find out about his new circumstances.

Spencer clicked on the app he normally uses to call his sister. He was beginning to check if she was online.

Suddenly, as if Alice knew he was going to call her, Spencer suddenly received a video call from his sister.

Spencer immediately pressed the green answer button and was greeted by his bubbly sister.

His sister began to speak with an excited expression.

"Hi Spencer!!! I know it's rather late on your side, but I couldn't resist this chance to cal–"

Suddenly, Spencer's sister noticed the face of the person she was speaking to on the other side of the video call.

Her face's excited expression suddenly turned expressionless, although her eyes were opened as wide as saucers.

After a few moments of silence passed of them staring at each other, Alice hung up.

"HAH!" Spencer impulsively laughed out

He then proceeded to call Alice again himself, without video so that he wouldn't freak her out again.

Thankfully, she picked up.

Unsurprisingly, she started to speak again impulsively as soon as she answered.

"Hey Spencer! You won't believe what just happened to me!! I tried video calling you a few moments ago, but I think something went wrong. Some super handsome man was on the other side just staring at me"

Spencer began to laugh thoroughly 

"It's not funny Spencer!! I am sooooooooo embarrassed"

Spencer tried to regain his composure 

"S-sorry Alice haha~"

"Huh??? Spencer, what happened to your voice??"

Spencer smiled and responded 

"Looks like you noticed~ Well Alice, I'm going to need you to bear with me a few moments. I have something I need to tell you"

Spencer then finally explained everything to Alice

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD"

Alice hung up on Spencer. Then, in the next microsecond, Spencer instantly received a video call invitation from his sister.

Spencer accepted and was once again greeted by his sister's excited face

"OH MY GOD"

Spencer chuckled 

"I see you're rather excited about this haha"

Alice took a couple breaths to cool down her excitement before she started speaking again, excitedly

"Well of course I am! You finally met your soulmate! And look at you!! Good heavens, your soulmate is HOT!! I can't believe you missed your first encounter"

Spencer blushed and began to feel sheepish

"Haha, yes. It was a rather big shock to me as well"

"I can imagine~ This is so exciting Spencer! We need to tell Evelyn, Mom & Dad A.S.A.P"

"Haha, yeah, about that. Would you mind telling them for me?"

"Huh? You don't want to tell them yourself?"

"I would, but with the time difference and everything. Plus, I don't know what times they might be busy. Also, it's all still rather overwhelming..."

Alice understood. She decided she would let her older brother get some rest and really process everything tonight.

"Alright Spencer, you can count on me. But you have to promise me that you will call them first thing tomorrow. They will most definitely want to talk to you. Thankfully, all three of them have a day off tomorrow"

"Haha, sure thing, I promise"

Alice smiled at her older brother 

Her expression then turned rather somber and she began looking thoughtfully at Spencer

His sister's sudden quietness was beginning to make Spencer feel kinda nervous 

"Uhhh, Alice, you feeling alright?"

"Spencer..."

"Hmmm?"

"Would it be weird if I said...I am feeling so incredibly attracted to you right now"

"Alice!?" Spencer exclaimed with a mortified expression 

Alice bursted out into laughter

"HAHA, I'm kidding, I'm kidding~" Alice began laughing passionately 

"Ohhhh phew, haha~" Spencer puffed out, relieved

Alice started to speak again after regaining a bit of composure

"But no seriously Spencer, your soulmate is very handsome, not that that really matters. I just hope he is a good person who treats you well"

Spencer smiled warmly "Oh believe me, he is~"

Alice smiled back warmly "Excellent! I cannot wait to meet him~"

Alice then looked like she was checking the clock on her wall.

"Well Spencer, I really reaalllly would love to talk to you some more. But, I unfortunately have to start getting ready for work, which is utter bullocks honestly. How can I focus on work when something exciting like this happens. There should honestly be a rule where family members get paid days off on the day a family member experiences the phenomena"

Spencer chuckled and responded "Haha, I completely agree love. Anyhow, I hope you have an amazing day~"

"You to dear brother~ Please make sure to get a long rest~ Also please don't forget to call everyone tomorrow, I know they will be eager to speak to you~"

"Haha, of course of course"

Afterwards, both siblings gave each other their final sweet goodbyes before hanging up.

Spencer stretched out his arms and let out a yawn. He then focused his attention back onto his phone. 

Suddenly, he received a message notification: 

It was his friend Benji

The message read:

"Dude! I just heard the news from Zaid & Diego. You missed your first encounter?! That's so funny!"

Spencer began to type a reply. But, before he could finish typing. Benji began to give him a call. It seemed like he could see on his side that Spencer was responding to his message on the app they were conversing on. Hence, he took the opportunity to call.

Spencer pressed the green phone button to accept the call. 

"Duuuuuude!~"

"Haha, good evening Benji"

"Dude, your voice! Oh my god, you're not British anymore!!"

Spencer chuckled and replied 

"Haha, well, I guess right now, yes, that is technically true"

"Man, this is exactly like those soulmate reunification phenomena romance anime & manga we used to watch & read!"

Spencer's eyes widened joyously from being reminded of the fun memories.

"Oh! I remember those~ They were incredibly fun to indulge in. And yes, I must admit my current circumstances are exactly like those stories we used to enjoy. Now, I can honestly actually say that I can fully relate to those characters haha"

"I know right! Anyways dude, you gotta share the details! You know how much I love soulmate stories~ I hear this Logan guy is really nice. You're gonna introduce us, right?"

"Haha, of course of course"

"Great! I wonder if he likes anime..."

"You know, I think he actually might. I know that he's played Pokemon"

Benji perked up at the mention of the world-famous franchise. 

"Oh cool! Looks like I already have a topic of discussion that I can use with him~"

"Haha, yes, looks like it. And honestly, I'm absolutely certain you two will get along nicely. You, Diego & Logan are actually incredibly similar personality-wise, you know"

"Really?? Well, now I'm getting excited! Now bro, please, go on~ I'm excited to hear about your day! The reunification phenomena sounds like an exciting experience. I wonder if I will experience it too..."

"Haha, with how easily distracted you get, I believe the chances are incredibly high~"

"Hey!"

"Haha, no offence lad, just telling it like it is"

"Phooey! Anyways, please, tell me! tell me!~" Benji requested pleadingly

Spencer giggled at his friend's enthusiasm to hear about his personal bodyswap experience.

He then proceeded to comply to his dear friend's request and began to tell him everything.

It was around 11:45PM at night.

Logan had just finished talking to Richard and hearing his *cough* romantic stories...

Logan rested his head back against his couch and was just looking up at his ceiling, thinking of all the shocking things Richard told him...

'Damn Richard, who knew you used to be so...intensely curious....'

Logan began to blush and shook his head.

He then checked his phone to see if he got any other new messages. Unsurprisingly, there were no new notifications. It was rather late, after all.

'I wonder what Spencer is up to...'

Logan proceeded to check one of his messenger apps that he added Spencer on. It said that Spencer was online 3 minutes ago.

Logan had the urge to message Spencer. But, he didn't know what he would say so late at night.

After another few moments had passed, Logan let out a yawn, he really should be getting ready for bed.

Logan got up from his couch and took his plate and cup to the kitchen. He left them inside the kitchen sink and decided he would wash them tomorrow.

He then headed into his bedroom. Logan realized he sweated a lot today from all the walking. First from the university to the cafe. Then the cafe to the Lake. Then finally from the lake to back home.

Logan felt like it would be a good idea to take a shower before bed. But, that would mean he would have to...fully undress...

Logan was confused about what he should do.

That is, until:

*PING*

Logan received a message.

Logan looked at his phone promptly.

It was Spencer!

The message read:

"Hello love, I hope you don't mind me messaging you so late~"

Logan smiled and proceeded to respond to Spencer's message

Spencer had just finished talking to Benji.

His friend was absolutely elated by all the details he told him about his experiences in Logan's body so far.

Before they ended the call for the night, Benji made Spencer promise to introduce him to Logan very soon.

Currently, Spencer was just relaxing and looking at the news app on his phone. From the articles he saw, there wasn't anything he found to be especially interesting.

Spencer then exited the News app and clicked on one of his messenger apps to check if there was any new notifications. But, nothing new was found.

'Hmmm, I wonder if Logan is still awake...'

Spencer checked his app and saw that Logan was offline. Spencer surmised that Logan probably went to bed.

'Poor dear, he must've been super tired, especially after walking around everywhere in that suit I was wearing...'

Spencer proceeded to check his other socials. After a few more minutes of perusing his apps, Spencer let out a tired yawn.

'I guess I should head off to bed too then...'

Spencer got up from his couch

He took his cup to the kitchen and left it next to the kitchen sink.

He also disposed of the plastic wrapping that was used to cover the danishes into a bin.

He then headed right into his bedroom.

Spencer felt like it would be a good idea to wash up before bed.

He proceeded to take off his T-shirt. But, as he was taking it off, he suddenly remembered he wasn't in his own body

'Ohhh, right...'

Spencer decided he should just forego a late night shower tonight and take one tomorrow instead

He also felt uncomfortable invading Logan's privacy without permission

'Hmmm...permission...'

Spencer suddenly got an idea

He decided he would message Logan and ask him if he was allowed to shower in his body fully undressed tomorrow.

Logan would be able to respond to his message when he woke up tomorrow, Spencer concluded

As soon as he entered into the messenger app he opened earlier, Spencer was surprised to see Logan was online a couple minutes ago

He then proceeded to message Logan. Spencer hoped he wasn't being a bother, it was rather late.

But thankfully, after messaging Logan, Spencer received a response almost instantly

"Hey dude! Of course I don't mind, how has your night been so far~"

Spencer smiled and proceeded to respond

It was incredibly late at night.

Thankfully, Spencer would be meeting Logan at his house in the evening time the next day.

Otherwise, both men would've been incredibly tired if they were to wake up and reunite with each other in the early morning.

Currently, both Logan & Spencer were in their own bathrooms.

Both men had taken off all their clothes and left them on their own beds inside their own bedrooms.

All they had on now was their boxers that their soulmate had chosen to wear that day...

On top of that, they had a towel wrapped around their waist to hide the boxers they were wearing from their own sight.

Logan & Spencer continued to freshen up in their bathrooms.

They brushed their teeth and washed their faces with their own cleansers and face wash.

All that was left for them to do now was to actually take a shower.

And, to do that, both men would have to take off their towel AND their boxers...

Both men took a deep breath

'It's all right, he said I could do this' they both thought

Thus, with the reinsured confidence gained from the fact that they were given permission by their significant other to undress, both men started by taking off their boxers. They made sure not to look down while they were doing so.

Now that the boxers were finally off, the only thing left was the towel...

Both men could feel the fabric of the towel rubbing against their own soulmate's private parts. Both men were now ABSOLUTELY conscious of the fact that they were not in their own bodies right now...

'Holy shit, this is actually happening' they thought simultaneously

Both men began to feel a deep mixture of feelings inside themselves

They felt nervous, as they were not in their own bodies and it was kinda awkward being in this kind of scenario.

They felt protective, feeling like they needed to protect the body they were in at all costs. It did belong to their soulmate, after all.

They felt bashful, because they felt they were intruding on something they shouldn't have been allowed to intrude on.

But most of all...both men were EXCITED

Indeed, both men were insanely excited to be experiencing this.

And, who could blame them? Any two soulmates (especially two insanely handsome men) would be incredibly excited to experience something so infinitely personal inside the body of their own soulmate.

Not to mention, this was an incredibly rare opportunity. It's not every day you get to strip naked in the body of your own soulmate. And, the reunification phenomena is something that ordinarily occurs once in a lifetime.

Both men went to walk in front of their bathroom mirror. They made sure to take a couple steps back so that their entire bodies would be in their view.

Logan was mesmerized by Spencer's twunky body. His luscious raven coloured hair was so hot and majestic, it made Logan truly feel like he was actually some super hot and magical European royalty, something akin to King Arthur. His sharp and confident green eyes, which were covered by the most stylish glasses, could make even the most stoic person in existence swoon. And, although Spencer wasn't an athlete like Logan was, he was absolutely incredibly well-built and manly. Logan couldn't contain his excitement.

Spencer too was in absolute awe of Logan's hunky body. His handsome brownish-red and orange hair was shining beautifully in the light, as if they were blessed by the heavens themselves. His manly beard and gorgeous blue eyes were so insanely perfect that they had Spencer actually wonder momentarily if Logan was legit an actual angel given human form. And the body. Oh, the body. It was literally the most manliest body Spencer had ever laid his eyes on. The muscles and the beautiful chest were absolutely awe-inspiring and hypnotic. Needless to say, Spencer was also beyond excited.

Unsurprisingly, one look at their gorgeous soulmate's entire (almost) naked body was all it took to make both men snap.

Each pose increased both men's excitement further and further.
