"She's here!" Donald quickly checked his outfit and ran to the entrance. With a quick breath, he opened the door, letting in his lovely girlfriend.

Daisy ran in, giving him a big hug. "Donald! Oh, I'm so glad to be back home in Duckburg. This last story was taking forever." She continued on as she took off her shoes and set her bags down. "But now we can have a wonderful night in! Just you and me and—" she saw the triplets well behind Donald. "... and the boys." A small chuckle left her lips.

"Yeah, they're going to be our servants for the night." He gave a proud smile before looking back at his nephews. "Right boys?"

"Yeaaah, Uncle D." They all were wearing nice black and white suits with little black bowties. Louie looked excited, giving a big smile and a wave to Daisy. Huey was happy to see her, too, but gave a fake smile, not wanting to be there. Dewey, again, happy Daisy was home safe, but didn't even bother hiding the fact that he'd rather be somewhere else.

Daisy gave Donald a soft smile. "Greeeeat... I'm gonna go get changed." She headed off towards her room.

As soon as she left, Huey eyed Donald. "She doesn't want us here."

"What!?" Donald glared at him. "Of course she does! She loves you all, too."

"She loves us, but she wants to relax, and you can't do that with your 3 adult-children here." Dewey looked towards his brothers, then back at Donald. "Well, 2 adult-children and an adult."

Donald stomped towards them. "You're getting your butts in that kitchen and preparing dinner, no buts!"

The three gave a frustrated sigh and headed into the kitchen. Since Donald took over McDuck Industries, he had moved into a high end home with plenty of space. His kitchen was more than big enough for three people. That said, it took all of 2 seconds for Huey to go onto his phone and Louie to go right to his violin. Dewey sighed, set up a few things, and started cooking.

Back in the dining room, Donald was looking everything over. "It has to be perfect. Nothing less for my Daisy." He shifted some decor around, moved the chairs, and was soon was scared by a hand on his shoulder. "Wak!?"

Daisy smiled and kissed his cheek. "It's okay, Donald. I don't care about the decorations." She chuckled and took a seat at the table, giving a small yawn. "So, what are we having?"

"Ah-um..." Donald hadn't thought about what was going to be served. "I-it's a surprise! Yeah, it's gonna be something delicious a-and fancy!" His butt hit the seat next to hers.

Back in the kitchen, Dewey was finishing up some parts of the meal. Louie smelled the food and tiptoed over, wanting to sneak a bite. Fork in hand, he almost got some when Dewey smacked him with a wooden spoon.

"You touch it, you die."

"I dunno, I think I'd live longer for more of this." Huey had some in his own bowl, eating it. "This is pretty good. Not as good as my five star meals, but—"

Dewey smacked his face with the wooden spoon. "What are you doing!? That's for Uncle D and Dais!"

"Oooh, yeah. This is good!' Louie had his own little bowl he was munching on. "Dude, can you make my lunches?"

Within moments, the two brothers were being chased around the kitchen by the angry chef. "You wanna try cooking all of this!? Why don't you be helpful for once in your lives—"

Before he could continue, Donald bursted in through the doors. "What's going on here!? Is the food ready yet?" The boys had frozen in place for just a moment before quickly shuffling back towards the food.

"Almost done, Uncle D!" Huey yelled over to him. "We're just putting on the finishing touches."

Donald gave a small glare before sighing. "Okay, get it out soon... And no more fighting!"

The three gave a disingenuous "Yes, Uncle D..." as he left the room.

Dewey put together 2 delicious-looking plates of food. "Can you guys manage to take these out WITHOUT eating them?" He pushed a plate into Huey's hands and looked him right in the eyes. "I'm sure that'll be hard for you."

The older, and bigger brother sent a glare right back before grabbing the other plate. "Oh really? Just wait until I get back." Huey angrily left the kitchen, heading to the dining table. He carefully set the plates in front of Donald and Daisy, thinking to himself about how he could be a better server than Dewey is a chef. "Is there anything else I, your gracious and handsome waiter, can get you?"

"Could you actually get me some water?" Daisy asked as Donald immediately started on his food.

"Of course!" Huey headed back to the kitchen.

Daisy looked over at Donald, giving a small laugh. He already had sauce all over his beak. Quickly realizing it, he grabbed his napkin and wiped his face. "H-How was your trip?"

"It was lovely— until, you know... the job." She chuckled. "I love it, but sometimes it's nice to just be able to relax back home." She yawned and continued on about covering floods, avalanches, and other disasters as Donald listened intently.

Huey went to a cupboard and grabbed two glasses, prompting looks from his brothers. He went to the sink, filling them up.

Dewey leaned in. "They want water?"

"Oh, you think they want fancy water?" Louie chimed in.

"And he's getting it from the tap. Tsk, tsk."

"With no ice."

"Or a lemon slice?"

The two brothers continued on until Huey stopped them with a "shut up!" He dumped the glasses out and set them down, going to the pantry, pulling out two bottles of fancy water and dumping them into the glasses. "There, fancy bottled water."

As he stepped out the door, Dewey stopped him. "Wait! Come back here! The chef, aka me, says there's more to do."

Huey grumbled, coming back in. "What?"

Dewey pulled him to the fridge, using tongs to put in ice cubes one by one.

"Can't you go any faster?"

"No, it has to be perfect." Dewey eventually finished and let him go.

The moment Huey stepped completely out the doors, another yell was heard. "Wait! Chef says there's more."

Huey grumbled again, stomping back into the kitchen.

Louie, watching this all go down, decided to stall by taking his violin out to the dining room. "Romantic music for the cute couple." Within moments he was playing a beautiful melody.

Daisy yawned once more. "That's really nice. You should be in an... orchestra... zzz." Daisy's head was in her arms, on the table.

"Wak!? U-Um, play something more upbeat!" Donald carefully shook Daisy awake. "D-Daisy? Are you okay?"

Louie stopped and attempted to play something with a faster beat. "M-Maybe you should take her to bed."

Before Donald could answer, a crash was heard in the kitchen.

"Now look at what you did!" Huey yelled.

"Me? That was all you!" Dewey responded in kind.

Louie quickly set his violin down. "I-I'll be right back." He quickly headed to the kitchen. "What's going on?!"

Huey pointed at Dewey. "He did it."

Dewey smacked his hand away and pointed right back. "No, it was all him!"

Louie gave a frustrated sigh and jumped right into the fray. As they fought, Donald helped Daisy to bed and tucked her in. When he came back out, he was prepared for a full-on battle with his nephews. He yelled and quacked at them for a short while before heading back towards the bedroom. "I'm going to sleep!"

"We ruined their date night..." Louie looked over at his brother with a dejected expression before seeing Huey and Dewey fist-bumping. "Wha— no..."

"Yes. Daisy needs sleep and we don't want to be here." Dewey grabbed his stuff and headed to the door.

Huey grabbed a container of leftovers and phoned his driver.

Louie watched them both leave before grabbing his violin and running out to meet them. "I better get some of those leftovers, too!"
