It's late when he wakes up. Sometime in the middle of the night.
A yawn forces its way out, and Harry’s vision has to adjust to the darkness of the bedroom, though it is still rather blurry without his glasses.
He's only half awake, still plenty tired after a long day of auror training. He rolls over, yawns again and spots Percy sound asleep beside him.
“Perce,” he mumbles, not expecting a response, and for the third time he yawns.
The redhead clearly isn't in a deep sleep. He stirs rather easily, groans softly in a way that shoots through Harry like a bolt of lightning, even in this half consciousness he's in.
“Harry?” Percy murmurs, eyes still closed. “What's the matter?”
“Nothing,” Harry scoots closer. “I just woke up.”
“From a nightmare?” Percy awakens a bit more, enough that he isn't on the verge of falling back asleep.
“No,” Harry hears the concern, and it means something to him. Means a lot more than he can express without the conversation becoming awkward. “I'm fine.”
Percy makes a quiet noise, throwing a leg over Harry's own legs, a long, freckled arm draping over him.
Harry inserts himself in Percy's space even more, tucks his face in the redhead’s neck and takes in a deep breath, the scent of soap and Percy fill his nose.
A kiss is gently pressed into his hair. A kiss that sends ripples of tingles throughout his body.
Being in Percy's arms, it's warm and comfortable and Harry relaxes instantly. He's lulled by the embrace, can already feel his eyelids growing heavy again.
He doesn't wake up until much later when the sun rises and streams in.
