Chapter Text

Almost all the missing children had been saved now, Dino and Squid seemed to be doing fine but Kraken still looked horrible, she would only ever sit in her tent or try to put herself on the cooking pot which concerned player alot, but they played it off and tried to act like it was funny, one day player went to find koala kid though since they had seen kraken kid looking at her poster a lot and thought it’d cheer her up!… Only koala kid came back that night.. She set up her tent and sat down and acted like nothing happened

“..Where did player go..?”

Dino asked, but koala just ignored him, she didn’t seem that bothered about talking, she seemed worried about worse stuff than communicating with others, but she noticed the one who looked the most traumatised staring at her often, she’d only watch from afar but it made koala curious about her, she only really knew dino kid since his and her parents would hang out often, but she wanted to know more about kraken. one day she stopped to invite kraken to come get wood with, but all she got in return was

“..i-it will g-ge-g-get me… n-no… n-no-not a-again…”

Koala was pretty annoyed at the response but went by herself

Chapter Text

Once koala came back from getting wood and Squid came back from getting food they put it in the fire and koala went back to her tent but squid seemed annoyed by it

“Can you stop being so lazy? There’s barely any food left for me and you!?”

“i don’t care. Let them eat.”

she replied, squid was really annoyed but left it and went to get more food just for him, at night, while dino and squid had gone to sleep, koala was trying to sleep two when she heard something, she got up and didn’t see any source of the nose but did notice kraken shaking horribly, she thought for a moment before getting up and going over to her tent to see if she was just cold, kraken was pretty cold so she put krakens blanket around her and sat her infront of the fire to get warmer, but she was still shaking even when she was sweating, koala realised the noise must have scared her, but she didn’t know how to comfort her, she only knew how to hug people so she hugged her, kraken seemed a bit surprised but thanked her

“…t-thank.. y-“ “shh.”

koala interrupted, she was still unsure about what was causing that noise so she wanted to stay as silent as she could, kraken was still scared though

Chapter Text

It had been 30 minutes and kraken still seemed nowhere near done trembling and koala got really confused on how to handle it, she was certain it was due to her being scared though so she told her to get some rest, but she refused.

“i think you just need to sleep..”

“I CANT..!! i-it will.. it will…”

Koala listened as kraken described the most terrifying, disgusting, painful experience ever, she had been through worse but she still comforted and tried to relax kraken by trying to talk about different things to get her mind off it. She felt really bad for kraken but she needed some sleep herself, so she had no other choice but to help kraken and herself sleep, she brought kraken back to her tent and put her blanket over both of them while kraken was still curled up in hers and held her close until she finally felt safe and fell asleep.
