The episode started with Blossom Flowerpot watering the flowers in her garden near her house. "Here you go, little flowers, here's some water to help you grow big and beautiful," Blossom said as she was watering the flowers with her garden hose. As Blossom was watering, Spot Splatter Splash was there, of course, and Blossom turned around and ended up pouring water in a paint tray full of blue paint that's already been dried up, rehydrating it. "Ooh, blue paint!" Spot said, as she splashed her hands in the blue paint that just formed, getting her hands and her dress all messy, and some of it even got on her face too. "I want you to look your best because Crumbs Sugar Cookie is coming over. There's nothing Crumbs loves more than a garden full of beautiful flowers," Blossom told Spot.
However, Spot was still interested in the paint. "Blue paint!" Spot said, as Blossom turned around and gasped, seeing the mess loving psycho near her garden. "Spot, Crumbs is coming in a little while, and she has a yummy surprise for us!" Blossom told Spot. "Blue paint?" Spot asked. "Oh, no, you don't, you can't play with the blue paint now! We'd better get you cleaned up before Crumbs gets here!" Blossom answered, but Spot still wanted to play with the blue paint in the paint tray. Blossom turned off the garden hose, as Spot, who was following Blossom, watched. "Come on. Whatever you do, don't touch anything," Blossom told Spot, as Blossom went back inside her house, and ended up taking Spot inside so she can have a bath after playing with paint.
Blossom washed her hands with soap, and was ready to get Spot all cleaned up. "Gotta wipe off the paint from your dress first!" Blossom said, as Spot had a displeased look on her face as Blossom was wiping Spot's dress clean until only the paint soaked into the dress was left. "All right, now let's find your face under all that paint!" Blossom told Spot, as she wiped Spot's face with a towel. "Ewww, that's disgusting! You want to see how dirty your face was?" Blossom asked. Spot nodded yes, and Blossom showed Spot's face of blue paint on the towel she used to wipe Spot's face with. "Now give me those mucky hands," Blossom told Spot, and Blossom wiped Spot's hands and feet clean. "All right, let's get you into a clean white dress before Crumbs gets here with her yummy surprise. Hurry, Spot," Blossom told Spot, as Spot left the bathroom smiling. Spot was put in a clean white dress with no blue paint splotches on it, as Spot had a displeased look on her face. "There. That's much better. Now we have to go outside and get the backyard ready," Blossom said, as Spot sighed with a displeased look on her face.
Blossom and Spot then made it to the backyard. "Let's see, what else do we need to do?" Blossom asked. Blossom noticed her bird bath was empty. "Oh! The bird bath is empty!" Blossom said as a bird was shown flying to the empty bird bath, and then chirping. Blossom turned on the garden hose, and went on over to it. "Crumbs loves to watch the birds splash and play in the bird bath, and so do I," Blossom said as she giggled. Blossom's water ended up producing more blue paint from the puddles that dried up earlier, which made Spot want to jump right back in. "Blue paint!" Spot said as she jumped into the paint puddle, and got herself messy all over again. "Oh, this won't do. The bird bath is all dirty. We don't want the birds taking a bath in dirty water," Blossom said as she blew away the dirt and twigs, as a bird watched and chirped. "That's better," Blossom said after the bird bath was clean.
The bird chirped at Blossom. "Coming right up. Will you hand me the hose, please, Spot?" Blossom asked. "Blue paint!" Spot answered, as Blossom turned around to see Spot all messy again with blue paint. "Oh no. Okay, Spot, to my house we go again," Blossom told Spot. Spot nodded no. "You can't look like that when Crumbs gets here," Blossom told Spot. Spot sighed. "Give me your hands. We have to hurry, Spot," Blossom said. Spot gave Blossom her hand, as she had the displeased look on her face again. "I still have to put some things out before she comes," Blossom told Spot.
Spot reluctantly went back inside Blossom's house, where Blossom cleaned Spot up again, in the same exact process from earlier. "Come on, Spot," Blossom said, as Spot sighed again. Blossom put another clean white dress on Spot. "You look much better now," Blossom said, as Spot shrugged in response. "Let's see, what was I going to do?" Blossom asked. Blossom noticed a tray with a pitcher full of Mountain Dew Summer Freeze Zero Sugar, as well as a cup of forks and some plates. "Oh, of course. I was going to put this tray out so we're all ready for Crumbs' yummy surprise," Blossom said as she took the tray. "Come on, Spot, and try to stay clean this time," Blossom told Spot, as Spot went outside, with a displeased look on her face.
Blossom was setting the tableware up for Crumbs' visit. "There we go. Doesn't it look pretty, Spot?" Blossom asked. "Blue paint!" Spot told Blossom. "I told you, Spot, this is no time for blue paint," Blossom said. "Oh, I almost forgot to pour the Summer Freeze in the glasses. I heard Crumbs loves this stuff," Blossom said as she poured the blue Mountain Dew in the glasses, as Spot watched. "Did you know the author of this series loves trying out every Mountain Dew flavor? This stuff sure is good," Blossom told Spot, as Spot sighed. "Oh, I'll go fill it up in case Crumbs wants a second glass of this new Mountain Dew flavor," Blossom said, as she went back inside to fill the pitcher up with more Mountain Dew Summer Freeze Zero. "Remember, it's your job to stay clean, okay, Spot?" Blossom asked. Spot nodded yes, but she was nowhere near telling the truth here. "Thanks," Blossom said as she got back inside. "Blue paint," Spot said as she looked through the blue paint puddle through a water glass.
"There. Now Crumbs can have as much of this new Mountain Dew flavor as she likes," Blossom said as she set down the pitcher. Blossom noticed that Spot drank up all the Summer Freeze glasses, and gasped. "Spot, did you drink all three glasses of Mountain Dew Summer Freeze?" Blossom asked. "Blue paint," Spot answered. "What have you done now?" Blossom asked. Blossom saw that Spot was forming the blue paint into some sort of structure, but of course, since it's wet paint, it keeps falling apart. "Oh no! Look at you! I thought I asked you to stay clean! All right, Spot, one more time. I hope we can get you cleaned up before Crumbs gets here. You can't look like this once she brings her yummy surprise," Blossom told Spot, as she tried to pull Spot out of the paint puddle, but ended up falling into the paint puddle herself.
"Oh no! Look at me! I look even worse than you!" Blossom told Spot. Spot looked at herself, and didn't think so, in fact, she smiled now that Blossom was messy. "Oh, this is terrible!" Blossom told Spot. "Come on, Spot, if we hurry, we can both get cleaned up before Crumbs gets here," Blossom told Spot, as Blossom was about to get Spot back in Blossom's house, but it was too late, since Crumbs already arrived. "Yoo-hoo! Spot! Blossom!" Crumbs said as she popped out from the fence. "Oh, too late! Hi, Crumbs," Blossom said. "Ooh, I see you're all ready for my yummy surprise!" Crumbs said, as she was holding a dish containing it. "All ready? All messy, you mean," Blossom said. "Yes. That's perfect. This special treat can get kind of messy so it's always a good idea to wear clothes that are already dirty," Crumbs said, as she reveals her colorful paint stain she got. "Really? What's the treat?" Blossom asked. "It's my colorful splatter pie!" Crumbs answered, as she had Spot take a bite out of it, as Spot smiled.
As Crumbs was about to give Blossom her bite of the colorful pie she made, a siren could be heard in the distance. "Oh, who could that be?!" Blossom asked. "That's right, as I was putting this pie together, I saw the way you treated Spot through this very fence, so I just had to call someone over!" Crumbs answered. "You KNEW?!" Blossom asked. "That's right, and here she comes now!" Crumbs answered. Lavender arrived, in her Princess Aurora costume from the last episode, ready to handcuff Blossom with her gold handcuffs. "What do you want?!" Blossom asked. Lavender handcuffed Blossom with her gold handcuffs. "This is for not only treating Spot like that and trying to get her clean, when she clearly loves her messes, but it's also for making me fall into that deep sleep yesterday!" Lavender said as she handcuffed Blossom. "Uncuff me now!" Blossom told Lavender. "Nope! Now get in my kart and you're coming with me to Spot's messy studio!" Lavender said. "No!" Blossom said. "Come on!" Lavender said. Lavender took Blossom in her kart, and Blossom screamed as Lavender drove off with her. "Let's get going now!" Lavender said as she drove Blossom off. Crumbs and Spot laughed it off, and continued enjoying the former's colorful pie together, as this crazy Lalaloopsy adventure ends right here.
