Chapter Text

The story would start around after Starlo leaves Clover to chase Ceroba and Ed takes him back to the wild east, Martlet arrives as usual and maybe instead of hoing to investigate Ceroba's house Martlet instead decides she would get Clover home, so once reaching new Home and instead going to Asgore directly as Starlo and Ceroba are non the wiser. So now at Asgore Martlet's recent betrayal of trust to Ceroba has made her cagey and very much more anxious about Clover being harmed, even going in Martlet hoped that as kind as she has seen Clover the king would surely SURELY make an exception for the little one and help them out but she will be shocked and even scared and angry as a mother about to now watch her child die so she would try to fight and or run with clover but get's blocked and or held by gaurds, perhaps crying and pleading more then she ever had in her life for anyone even maybe when she found out Chujin died, and so in desperation the tool she had still kept as a last resort of Chujin's warning about humans would be used to save Clover. (As for if she can stay alive or be stable after using pure DT on herself, i was thinking, maybe LOVE is what causes her to eventually become unstable and eventually dust, i think that logic can be applied to Undyne the Undying too in thisau lore, so with zero LV she is maybe JUST strong enough to atleast get out of the gaurds grip and use her new found speed too run away with clover, maybe she could try and fight asgore but very much can't beat him at all, maybe she's close or like base undyne in terms of power level.) As for flowey i'm not very good at coming up with different ways for him too interact with any of this so go nuts with what you want him to do or not do, though maybe you could make him have problems trying to use saves, maybe martlet is a new contender or something or at least somehow messing it up. Maybe with this new form as well when met up with Ceroba but now either you chose to write her fighting or not i'd recommend you maybe use Martlet's new appearance and her explanation to how she achieves it too make Ceroba reconsider both stealing clovers soul and not giving up on Kanako. Maybe somehow they find out (the thing about LOVE and it's interaction with DT) can make sure it could actually work and if it could revive Kanako from what Ceroba still thinks is the normal fallen down state before all of them find out about the Amalgamates. (Adding onto the dt thing slightly, maybe for most the amalgamates they had at least some kinda amount of LOVE from the past which made them unstable but not dust at least. For Kanako of course we all think about Integrity and their LOVE in their soul which i think IS that corruption of course Chujin and Ceroba talk about, not that it isn't obvious, maybe Martlet was now basically the vaccine or Remedy for the LOVE in the amalgamates and Kanako and could have Ceroba learn and figure out how it can fix them all in the true lab. I think though it wouldn't do what Chujin wanted which was make monsters boss monsters but Ceroba would try and forget about that and finds her own soul letting go her husbands legacy he tried forcing that was morivated by fear and learn from Martlet about his true legacy like she said in the speech at the end of pacifist.

Ok, i think this is good as it'll get, just now I will edit this and every story every so often if I feel I can add onto something.

Chapter 3: A guilty Star (workshop a better title please)

Summary:

So this one would be somewhat a role reversal Just for Ceroba and Starlo during undertale yellow and Starlo being the one to have messed up Kanako instead of Ceroba.

Notes:

(Please go ahead and use any of this for a story, just give a shout out and please also send a link to said story if you do make it:3)

Chapter Text

So, as the slight difference in the backstory before Clovers arrival i'd like to make it so in the past it was STARLO who discovered chujin's basement a little after his death with Kanako and Ceroba perhaps to heartbroken in grief too stay in the house and so for that time being stayed with Star and his still being developed posse(maybe a little fun with an lonley mooch being invited to the gang?) Anyways since i'd want it to be slightly different and Chujin to actually felt he had wasted his life on the serum and decides NOT to tell Ceroba about the basement nor anyone and hopes no one ever follows in his footsteps but he couldn't record that message in anyway before he had gotten to weak to even move. And so with the basement and it's contents still the same, including the messages for CEROBA initially before Chujin's second guesses were realized on by himself on his deathbed, Starlo finds out why Chujin had been so sick, so scared and paranoid ever since the attack in snowdin and in his mind only found frustration at Chujin's absense as a parent and person in society latley can only feel pity but also he see's even in Chujin's desperation at some kinda way to help monsters become stronger he found it admirable and so decided to instead take any and all tapes and in a similar sort of way becomes a bit more reclusive sometime at his parents farm and home as he decides to be the one to try and help Chujin's serum become reality, i feel he should use the shelter near the house you see as his place of work in secret and any and all tapes and evidence of chujin's work down there would be with him instead do Ceroba wouldn't see, including the Axis Integrity tape. So maybe just like how Kanako had found out what Chujin was doing she could do that again with Starlo, maybe on a trip to the Wild East to relax after a very worried Ceroba pulls him outta the house and tries to make him have fun again with Cowboys, maybe even have Ceroba not as depressed and dressed up like a cowboy with an outfit star made for her when he started the Wild East just to get him to relax, perhaps Kanako would be babysit at Stars since Ceroba also wanted to go to Dina's and drink with star too to help him could be how she could stumble onto it.
Ok, now for in the future, after Starlo basically does the same thing Ceroba did to Kanako he feels devastated and guilty and even lies to Ceroba about what happened, that being Kanako wanting to help the serum be realized is made fallen down, and so Starlo carries an immense guilt of hurting and lying to the two people he loved more then the entire world and becomes a recluse. Ceroba in her own grief after getting the letter for admisions to the true lab and having taken kanako there is also as depressed but then she cries out for anyone to help while on her home in grief and after saying Chujin, Kanako... she pauses a little and whimpers starlo then in desperate need to feel any kinda comfort, comfort star would usually give, she goes to his home, to find him in such a state it slighty shocks her out of her own, no longer a sherrif, a messed up room with everything from his childhood passions destroyed and torn and a Starlo staring into blank space with way too many adult sodas to be humanly drinkable or something like that. and in this she gets a little bit out of her funk, she feels only grief for Kanako but not guilt since she hadn't done what she originally did and so she is still at the very least not as depressed as she had been in the game but starlo is ruined and so she ends up being the one to constantly try to cheer him up and make him happy till the events of undertale yellow happen, she becomes the new sheriff since she knows how Starlo both wanted so badly for a cowboy town to play in and also because she knew starlo's idea had helped his family farm alot with business, not to mention the residents she cared about needing jobs and a place to enjoy too and so she becomes the leader of the feisty five who themselves want to help starlo too and hope to try and help him go back to his old self.

(You guys could do Kanako rescue stuff or something but that's pretty much all i got for a story this time, i got other concepts for you to use saved on notes but i need time and rest between each upload to flesh them out, anyways take care and have fun writing!!!)

Chapter 4: Starlo x Chujin. Stujin? Charlo?

Summary:

Chapter Text

Backround setup, so this fic will be a Chujin focused fic to try and explore his character more and practice, the au's alternate part here is Ceroba's dying in place of Chujin, i am imagining in this au what happens in snowdin with integrity happens and with axis killing the human and bringing the soul home. Ceroba instead of unknowing of what chujin was doing in the basement now DOES now as she confronts his lateness and why kanako was left alone to be taken back by someone she hadn't met which could be dalv or martlet by your choice, either way I imagine both to argue under hush voices with a robot axis still stood by and a soul within a container which was the first thing ceroba was freaking out and worrying about. eventually perhaps chujin tells the truth at what happens and blames himself and also explains what he wished to do with the soul he guiltily aquired and maybe after some thought and explanation to what he wished to do, that being helping monsters become boss monsters like himself and kanako to stop being fragile like other monsters, and so BOTH could have been working on the serum now, with both the serum SEEMS complete and purified and new in that it didn't NEED a volunteer boss monster due to Ceroba's insistence against using his own or especially kanako and so she worked hard to make it possible without a boss monster and so one day the two figure it was good enough to test but of course like what happend with kanako the Integrity in the serum made ceroba nearly dead on the spot and put her fully into a fallen down state, in chujin's mind and rational HE blames himself and only himself for her fallen down state and could do nothing but yell, perhaps time had already passed enough before hand to have gotten the letter from alphys in hotland in need of fallen down monsters and its details to the experiment on helping them and so chujin may remember that paper and frantically calls a number, Starlo and only starlo as he was the nearest to him and only person he was familiar with in the dunes to help, and so starlo later stood before a very silent chujin who's cheek was sore and glasses askew on the floor almost blankly with dead eyes looking up into starlo's trembling ones he could see under his hat from that angle and a clenching shaking fist, all while both had ceroba to the side extremely still, after starlo asking what happened, chujin calmy as he could while fixing himself he as much as he was reminded starlo of cerobas state and if either were too be able to do anything for her it would be the message chujin recieved that got around about fallen down monsters to the royal acientist. So Starlo and Chujin grimly both march with her, starlo complaining slightly how his gang and especially ed coulda helped traveling but had a cagey chujin very much convince him other wise to keep this for his family's privacy, at least for now. and so they go on through his work place that was nearing its end as soon people would be let go unknown to chujin in that moment, thankfully the major majority of the people working their are all either from new home or hotland so if they ran past with ceroba in tow he wouldn't have to talk to them after the fact, the two make it through the many slight obstacles being people asking with fright or ignoranc3 as both reacted the same, angry and annoyed shouts of many varietys for people to move and finally they would make it to hotland before anything to ceroba could happen. as they enter they are greeted by alphys who with genuine worrry asks what happend since she hadn't expected two monsters to bring a fallen down one themselves and not have gaurds come to their house and deliver the bodies, if chujin was thinking and looking without frantic fear and worry he mightve noticed the number attached to call for that. and also alphys would be shocked as how ceroba had fallen down since she wasn't old, Chujin would just deflect and convince her to help. Alphys would agree but then explain she could not let both down to the lab with ceroba which got both riled up equally with some anger only for one of the gaurds stationed to interupt and warn the two to leave and that their loved one was in good hands of the royal familys scientist, a title Chujin would hate hearing for years to come since he found out only today afterwords of the steamworks shutdown and his job lost after returning home, starlo had left to be at his own him probably just as down, Kanako would ask questions, many of them chujun couldn't answer with only a hug to both silence her but also to comfort himself at the situation he put himself and his love in, especially with the human soul still in the basement. In this time after putting kanako to sleep as best he could without his wife their too assist because of his akward nature and less then good social skills, then in his fear of what he has done had now decided to throw that human soul he now fully despised into the spot it was formed in waterfall, after that journey he for one of the first times ever made it into dina's bar to drink and finds starlo had the same idea, thankfully starlo was far enough to the side so he didnt need to speak to him and in his own little corner drowned his own current sorrows, the glasses double the amount of starlos, with both the mess and how the top were being irresponsible and a danger to themselves she forcibally made both stop drinking and forced them to go home, with only a little protest the two would stumbling along the way though both only end up in Starlo's and the yet to be fully feisty 5's home nearby to sleep. after some time passes Starlo notices how often Kanalo comes to the wild east and more and more notices her own state of non care as she was very messy and more frequently she asked her unlce star for food as she said she had a light lunch or breakfest and even dinner again. it had only been two weeks since he saw chujin sadly walked off to his home in the morning and wondered now why kanako was even alone right now and not being taken over by her father. in the need for answers starlo with some annoyance and worry for both foxes marched to their home, already he was shocked by the fast degradation that had set in fron the once beautiful garden of the manor dead amd sandy with some of the exterior of the house notably at a wall punched and clawed in and it got worse inside, it was just dusty mostly, not the most bad thing but the kitchen was horrific, the piles of dishes was one to the very much left out foods spread about in what looks to be hasty quick foods to make but never any mess was cleaned it seemed. finally the door to chujins workshop that kanako said he barely left he looks to a claw mark just at the side of the door that kanako hadn't seen and with worry hushes her to go to her room and please stay their til starlo was done. after she leaves ge opens the door to an extremly bad sight, a chujin in disarray and full bottles of strong stuff you could only get in new home, a lot of them and chujin staring into blank space on his ass shocked star badly, he was a wreck. Starlo with his hope that ceroba would be fine, with some worry, hadn't thought it would hit chujin this hard she was fallen down though he kinda got it but of course star doesn't know chujin felt he had done it himself to her which wasnt entirly true since ceroba also agreed to do it and was insistent on herself and not him to test it with. (both wont know about ceroba's survival til much later.) At this point starlo in his need for helping folks inspired from how chujin always did that himself wemt and started cleaning right AFTER yanking and pulling a stinky two week old chujin to the bathroom for a well needed bathe, well AFTER he held his ears so chujin could throw up, he was not a drinker in amy regard and the bottles were cerobas and chujin as smart as he is impusivley and stupidly with recent frustration and anger decided to drink in his sound proof workshop. Starlo thankfully had his basic living skills and cleaning all thanks to his mana who very much insured her boys work ever since that one point of frustration at the twos constant messiness when they were younger, a quick and fast digs at both lack of respect to their ma was enough to make them take care if themselves better with their pa also feeling that stinging but needed fact. Amd starlocat the moment was extremely greatful to learn how it worked, so off hecwent to get kanako amd tell her to be ready by dinner soon and her fathers use of the bath for her to take hers after as he went about cleaning, thankfully there was a washing machine chujin had installed in the home for private use from the steamworks that ceroba constantly felt grwatfulcfor such a godsend, maybe in the middle of loading clothes he could see some left over by ceroba and pause with a grimace and shake his head thinking about kanako and chujin to a slightly lesser extent, he still hadn't forgotten the two's beef they had in the past with each others likes and dislikes much to cerobas amousement to their antics on cowboys and some kinda sci fi thing, but starlo also knows chujin wasnt a bad guy, far from it with how he always helped folks with alota different things, something starlo WISHED he was just as good at but always felt lesser, he was proud of the wild east and how it helped his families farm but he also wished he could have done as much good as chujin had and felt inadequate to him. so after the bath is done with a sopping poorly dressed right but at least in clean clothing chujin starlo would have Kanako go bathe with the promise of fresh clothes and dinner ready soon, with a happy glee kanako would take off seemigly excited and with joy for what must have been a while starlo would notice, a silent chujin would stare but not blankly into space, he watched starlo do all these things, cleaning, cooking, the laundry, sweeping, all these things and had a thought 'had he never noticed how much work was being done in the house? the house was a mess but now getting cleaned, by some one else again... and it felt bad, he never thought about it but how did ceroba feel doing all this stuff while he was out helping others or tinkering all day and night in his workshop and lab, he felt guilt that he COULDN'T do it, he didnt know how and was flabbergasted internally that starlo of all people was better then him at being a normal person that could rake care of themselves, chujin KNEW he couldn't take care of himself and hated that he hadn't noticed until now and felt embarrestment and pathetic as starlo finished his cooking and a very intensely familiar smell filled his nose making his hairs stand straight. "i-is that corn chowder?" chujin asks with a hoarse voice that clearly had been used to scream and cry earlier. "Yessir, old and good family recipe!" he claims but chujin KNEW it was ceroba's recipe, or at least he assumed it was, had he never asked her? chujin now realizes he never really asked about her past and relationships ever and felt a bit flustered and slightly bad as he felt he missed out on alot of conversations with REALLY getting to know ceroba deeply, something starlo had already done since both were childhood friends. Chujin tries a taste and nearly sobs with how it tasted, exactly like Ceroba's down to every single detail.

(Ok so this was alot to write, i may def add on more to this but this is a good base to work with for a story to any of you up and coming writers needing some good ideas.)

Chapter 5: A KIND Soul and a Hatchling(should be workshoped better)

Summary:

(So basically this is a concept of the human before Clover and Integrity, and my choice is Kindness. I just like the concept and wanna put it as an idea out there, the protag should still be a child aure bute what about a teen? i think it would be fine to make this character a teen, like around 16? Old enough to be more aware of the world at least and I feel it'll be a cool way to delve into some characters we know well already. The other character and main reason the adventure should go is our fav blue bird Martlet! I imagine this would be set a good amount of time in the past and i envision Martlet between 4 or 6 for this fic, other characters we know could definitely show up since my main Idea for Kindness is that they disguise themselves as a Monster either to leave the ruins and or to care for Martlet saftley while finding help for her and or help her in someway, like maybe finding her parents/parent or a adoptive one? something Kindness would do for a little one. Anyways i'll write out the concepts below now!)

Notes:

(Feel free to use any and ALL ideas to make your own fic, I encourage all of you to use these as much as you want or need, I only ask for a shout out and a link to whatever story you make! thank you!)
(Any edits will be listed down in the notes below if needed.)

Chapter Text

writers notes:(So for the beginning of this i AM borrowing a concept from a lewd ~ artist named darky or darkynsfw who has a comic on deviant ar called Best Wishes from what i checked, it is NOT NSFW it for the most part is completely safe for work, the concept i'm borrowing is for the beginning parts of this atory becuase i REALLY like the idea of the ruins being much more big than we thank and monsters that aren't mearly froggits or small little guys just roaming about, i don't know if i'll hqve Toriel be a leader figure for said monsters live their, i just figured monsters that heard the king would also maybe feel like toriel felt and decide to move in with her to the ruins where the kingdom used to be. I also may have borrowed the concept of cancer for the protag human but only becuase i KNOW what it is like and i feel, even though it's my first character outta thin air on making, that i can write the bad feelings and angst and all those gross thoughts and emotions accurately, Darky wrote their Frisk really well with that i think, though i was not terminal i was very aware of the feelings of death. Ok, so, there are alot of ways you guys could start this and give whatever background you want for kindness, here is mine.)

Sheep. A name, THEIR name, not their real one but one gained through other kids affectionate teasing and as a nickname in english of their last name that was left from whoever left them to grow up in that place with all the other children, Cordero. It was the ONLY thing they had left, though their first name was something the human teen had decided to forgo after some time and growing up had done, when they made it to their early preteens they had taken on the name Sheep, even though word 'Cordero' was actually spanish for 'Lamb' they learned from one of the caretakers when they asked, 'Sheep' close enough for them and much better to them than just Lamb, plus they rather liked that kind of animal a lot anyways beforehand and felt a bit special knowing their last name had been made after it. They weren't one for names anyway so to be called Sheep simply meant they didn't have to think about what their legal name on paper meant at all or who even was related to them, they didn't wish to know. It was a dead name to them afterall. None of that mattered now as they looked down the hole that sank down and down and darker with no floor they could see, their hands catching frostbite as this year's winter was probably the coldest it had ever been, not that it mattered anymore. No more cooking, or cleaning or anything else that needed doing anymore, no more being able to take care of all the kids they would meet in that place all new and then going on with a new family unlike themself. They had tried countless times but everytime they did they just couldn't figure out how to put on the right faces or do the right gestures like your SUPPOSED to know how, apparently according their understanding, it felt alien to them that they had to do such things and very very disheartening when all it did was put those potential parents off more. It wasn't just that alone though that led them up here, another more intense fact of their life was when they hit 16 and had their first ever checkup at that clinic, they still remember that month they spent lying in bed and the awful smells of alcohol with the stupid wristband marking you that always felt just too restricting and drove them crazy, all that time being looked over as the initial doctor who had been the first to checked their body and found something. Something that would ruin them entirely, they had been made to go on a treatment without their say in the matter and the bill they managed to peak at was a lot to their limited knowledge on expenses. The orphanage home would be ruined if they had stayed for those 'awful' treatments at the hospital they needed. So after they had returned to the staff that looked both worried for them and the current finances, Sheep had decided to help them in probably the most and ONLY selfish thing they had ever done, they left. And left without any kind of goodbye, only their favorite boots a staff member had gifted them that we're yellow and perfect for the current weather unlike the very non-winter gear basic clothing they left in. Now they had come here to the place they heard so many tales about from their time growing up back then with other kids and decided if they we're gonna go they would at least try and see why no one ever returned from the mountain. And right now they had a very good idea why as they peered down the deep hole into some kinda chasm, only complete silence was around with even the wind having stopped. They took a good look down the mountain seeing the village they had been in and found the view enchanting and was glad it would be the last thing they would ever see.

SWEET SILENCE...

The smell of flowers was immense and colors filled my sight as i felt light and floating, as i breathed in again I felt my body ache slightly and now began to wonder if I even had crossed over anymore as more sensations made their way back to me as I now awoke. I found myself miraculously unharmed for the most part and the chilling temperatures gone. Though obviously not the snow that covered me and now ruined my only shirt for the moment as it soaked through with melted snow as well as my pants, the only saving grace was my favorite yellow boots made for this sort of weather in mind and kept their feet dry and warm it seems. I was about to get up until I noticed, SOMEONE or someTHING was right in front of them on their knees, it made me wonder if I hit my head and gained some kinda damage to it because what I saw was a sight, a startled big goat woman with a cute sun hat and watering can that looked like they we're just about to use on the flower bed I saw I was sat up on.

"Oh my- Are you ok child?" she asked rushing to stand and help them up, Sheep felt a bit startled themself when they realized they WERE ok. And this was not some kinda hallucination due to death or something, they remembered hearing about peoples lives flashing before their eyes in their final moments but Sheep couldn't recall ANY goat woman in their life, though maybe in a cartoon but even then it was a stretch. And by her easily lifting them off their butt so easily, and the real soft feeling of a furry fluffy hand, they had no doubt anymore about their current non-dead state and so took a deep breathe and spoke.

"Thank you ma'am, I'm called Sheep, pleased to meet you!" I say being polite with as much practiced emoting as they could. They had hoped they had done it right, afterall, they HAVE been doing it for years. But STILL they worried about not greeting someone correctly or not doing the right face to match their emotions during a conversation. It was hard to interact like everyone else could seemingly with ease as years in school and home had shown. It felt like it was always their own fault since they put people off or made them think they were hated by themself.
Thankfully either the goat lady was very VERY kind or just giving pity, either way her giggling made them feel calmer and comforted inside.
"My, how courteous, well um 'Sheep?' my name is Toriel and I am the keeper of these ruins... and those uh, flowers you are on." she had a look of slight concern as I just now realized they we're probably hers and REALLY important to her. *oops* And with a quick movement they moved off what was probably something super precious to her. "S-sorry" was quickly given by Sheep with a slight change in expression, faint but noticeable if you had a good eye and Toriel definitely had one with some past encounters like this. "It is quite all right, these flowers from the surface are quite sturdy, I just feel as though I need to tend to them really for my own sanity sometimes ~hehe~" She remarked relaxed and unworried now that the flowers we're unbothered and ok as well as the human she saw's expression shift back to what she guessed was their natural resting face.
"You are quite a bit bigger from any of the human children I had met, how old are you my child?"

"Uh, 16?" I say hopefully not misremembering my age, it was just a little hard to keep track of something you never think about till it's brought up. I think my birthday had passed months earlier then this December so it hadn't been a year yet since then.

"Oh my, well i suppose you are hungry then yes? And in need of some dried clothing, why don't you come with me and we'll get you sorted." She holds out her hand which you accept and get led on through what she called the Ruins. Along the way she talked a lot, as if she hadn't any company for years, not that they minded, Sheep was very much a listener and loved hearing people speak. In her newfound audience she spoke stories, about history which added to the stories you had heard on the surface about Mount Ebbot. They could see how children went missing though they thought it personally moreso wildlife being the cause honestly, who would've figured those kids just had fell down here? "Oh dear, it seems the puzzles are a BIT um... stuck?" she replied grabbing Sheep's focus. They saw some spikes jutting out the floor and Toriel trying to jimmy a switch that was not cooperating. "*sigh* I am sorry Sheep but it appears we must take the long way, i suppose we could do some clothes shopping and pickup some ingredients I was hoping to use today, unless you do prefer snail pie?" She asks, teasingly, the previous humans and her child Chara all seemed to very much dislike snail which made for some giggling on her part seeing their reactions after managing to get them too try some, it was just so cute to so their reactions.

"w-whoa, no need miss Toriel, I don't want you spending stuff on me." I say feeling guilty making someone buy me stuff. She was VERY pushy about helping and without another word dragged me along after going back to the entrance to the ruins and brushing aways the red leaves on the floor to the left revealing a trapdoor, opening it up they could see it well lit, they wondered how their was so much light anyways without clearly any electricity or fire even. They'd say magic but that was silly, despite the current giant goat woman they were with they were sure it was something else.
Walking to the trap door it showed descending stairs, Toriel didn't seem at all deterred in any way making Sheep believe she knew very much where she was going and followed after her. The walk was a bit long down but making it to a door at the bottom led Sheep to something they never thought could exist somewhere under the Earth, it was a whole City! The purple brick tiles and walls covered every building, many other of these creatures, monsters Sheep guessed having been the only word they knew from the story of Mount Ebbot, though not the kind talked in fairy tales, at least in regards to being unpleasant as some monster children ran up to miss Toriel with a cute greeting, they looked like squirrels, followed by what they guessed was the childrens mother approaching behind with haste and exhaustion. "Ah sorry miss Toriel the kids saw ya and wanted to say howdy." she said a bit winded as the two children tried climbing both miss Toriel and Sheep due to their tall sizes, Toriel a monster among monsters in size with Sheep being naturally tall for a human enough they got away without an ID once buying beer for a stupid friend that peer pressured them.
"Hiya hi hi hi" said a small blue squirrel clearly only knowing how to say that word to others and their sibling, a red one, spoke much more and asking rapid fire questions sheep did their best to answer without either stopping until Toriel very gently stopped it with skills a mother knew when caring for a child would and managed to talk both down off herself and Sheep back into the mother's hands. "Golly, you make it look easy sometimes ol' gal." the mother complemented. "All from time dearie, you'll get a hang for it eventually." she gave the mother with a knowing smile on how children were. "And who's this young man behind you miss toriel?" she finally asked with her children reigned in to greet the monster and human properly. "Sheep ma'am, it's Sheep. Please to meet you." They say and held out a hand to shake but tries to pass it off as a cough just remembering the two children the mother had her hands literally full with. "Well nice ta meet ya Sheep! Mind me askin' but are ya a human?" she asked. They nodded without another thought. "Yep, human as any other, I think?"

Toriel had just realized something, she was not sure if Sheep was even aware the kind of situation they could be in if they weren't more cautious, Toriel knows the majority of residents here in this abandoned went with her resettled location years ago after her leave of her EX and his gross decree he uttered and spurred the underground into a human killing frenzy with. She was surprised so many had still believed in her and her bias to keeping humans safe, especially after the first one too fall down here many years later after her child Chara.

A blind blonde girl with a red bow and a toy knife. Even with the ruins nearly off limits to the monsters in HIS kingdom it did not stop those that heard about that girl and it wasn't long after until Toriel had experienced her kinds capacity to violence, she felt monsters were no different to humans and vice versa, that event solidified that belief, she had seen the war first hand with her Ex and knew it was horrid, she didn't think she'd ever see a monster capable of ending another's life again, especially a child's. So she made promises to herself and residents that lived down the ruins with her too never let a human be lost again, and shee hated she failed it two more times after. They were all just so stubborn, she could only delay them so long from leaving but eventually all left her.
And currently she felt those feelings that Sheep would too, it was different sure as all the others had been children but this Sheep was a teen at 16, she was unsure how maturity fully happened for humans but they was still old enough for her to care for weren't they?

"Sheep here IS a human Abigail, and we are currently running a bit late for preparing dinner, I apologize to cut you off so briefly but we really should be going, come along my child." she says walking past now making the human teen feel anxious seeing her demeanor change as she walked away with them in tow, but not before Sheep gave a farewell. "uh, ok? bye miss Abigail was it? You and your kids stay safe!" Sheep said with a smile, abigail returned it and with a slight concern from Toriel suddenly giving her the cold shoulder she replied with genuine kindness Sheep could feel. "You take care hun... And, uh be careful saying your human and all, we're nice folk but some monsters on the outside of this place are rather... weary of humans and could attack you..."

Oh... they hadn't expected that... their were people that hated them... for existing...

It was not an unfamiliar feeling but to know it was more than just anxiety flaring up giving such thoughts made Sheep gulp and keep from feeling ugly inside thinking about it. They did not wanna think about it.

"Thanks, um goodbye!" Sheep left hurriedly after Toriel keeping their face stiff as always despite the clear tears forming from being overwhelmed, she was surprisingly swift for a monster her size and Sheep was too upset in a state to keep up.

Toriel had left them behind by accident and now they were in the middle of a currently alive and moving city.

"Oh no no no, T-TORIEL! MISS TORIEL WHERE ARE YOU!" Sheep yelled a bit desperate, after realizing she indeed most likely hadn't realized her movement was to much to much for the human they opted to stay inplace and wait...

It was a full minute before they decided to wait nearby sitting against a wall for some rest on their legs, right next to them was a bend around a corner into an alley with a big trash bin for large amounts of rubbish and payed no mind to it as they stared into the street with passerbys mostly ignoring them with some asking if they needed help occasionally, they did accept some help in the form of informing a big goat lady they were here if they say her which every single one agreeing with genuine promise, it was freaking Sheep out slightly how kind monsters we're so far but after that warning from Abigail they wondered knew it wasn't ALL monsters that would be the same towards them, all cause they're human, because they're DIFFERENT.

A sudden noise from the alley made them curious and with nothing else really to do they peaked and saw something strange.

A blue dirty tiny bundle of feathers headfirst leaning over and looking into the trash with the most curious thing being this little thing seemed to have no legs.

"H-hello?" Sheep called out startling the thing and making it fall into the trash. With a gasp of worry Sheep rushed and climbed in digging out the small blue and feathery thing they found out as they held them.

The little thing hacked out accidental debris and grimacing.

"EWWWWIE!" 'she' chirped out as her squeaky high feminine voice left her beak.

She was quite small and thin, and not that heavy though her being a bird didn't help with Sheep's current assessment on her checking for problems, besides her legs she probably should have considering she had wings and looked humanoid enough, though they could never be too sure after seeing so many different monsters pass by while they waited for Toriel, her current appearance didn't help the concern they felt looking at the avian tot, as her clothing looked overused and ragged without clear cleaning nor fixing for a while now it seemed. A sight Sheep wished they weren't used to seeing whenever they met some types of orphans in situations similar to this.

"Are you ok?" Sheep finally asked to the little bird. She got comically wide eyes just now noticing she was being held by a stranger she didn't know, at first it looked like she was a bit scared and Sheep worried they would try to run and end up hurting themselves. Thankfully she looked to calm down from how her eyes returned more normal and her poofed feathers recessed and smoothened back best they could to her dirty body. A precious smile came to her as she felt calmer and spoke with a nod. "Mhmm, tank you big tall thingie!"

She seemed quite more cheerful then Sheep expected by they took it as a good sign the bird was not injured or in pain.

'Good

"My name is Sheep, and what's your name little one?" Sheep asked gently with a genuine smile, emoting to the children always came naturally, it was only strangers Sheep could not do it with.

"Mm- mamlep. N-mmarblep. mMm Mart. Let. Martlet!" she answered with difficulty fumbling but the last answer seemed correct to Sheep from her excitement saying it right.

"Martlet huh? You have a great name... Ok, so. Do you KNOW where your parents are hun?" Sheep asked, it was a chance to see if she even knew anything and Sheep HOPED she was only a lost girl but her next silent scrunched up expresion told them different.

'Oh no...'

"Hey hey hey, shhhh don't cry it's ok, you don't gotta answer hun...." Sheep did their best to soothe Martlet bouncing her slightly on their knee while hushing them with a hug.

'I can't believe this kinda thing even happens down here, I... If i EVER find who left her here I swear i'm gonna-'

"SHEEP, oh thank angel I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" Sheep jumped slightly while sitting on the ground hearing their goat hostesses voice.

There was a pause for a moment as Toriel took notice of Sheep's current companion they held close.

"Oh dear, who is this?" She asked, Sheep made a motion to come close as they whispered their idea as to what Martlet was and what Sheep would do now.

"Oh... A-are you sure about this, maybe her pa-" Sheep shot a hand to her mouth scaring her at the intense look they gave before both looked down to see Martlet had fallen asleep in their arms. Sheep sighed and let go.

"I- Am sorry miss Toriel but, do NOT bring that word up around her, it is a sensitive one as I have found out." Sheep was quite blunt and strict sounding like Toriel herself to her own children back then. With some understanding and slight impressment at their maturity Toriel took it with grace.

"It is quite alright Sheep. I had not expected a human likee you be so parental, i'm impressed." Toriel spoke truthfully and the two stood a moment before Sheep broke the silence.

"Not to be rude miss Toriel but... would you mind taking me to your home now, I think I need some help getting Martlet here some help and some good ol' cooking, my treat!"

Toriel cocked an eyebrow surprised.

"You cook?"

"I sure do, been doing it since I was 8, needed to feed myself proper afterall and all the children back home too..." Sheep boasted a bit before remembering it was gone for them now.

Toriel gave a smile and took their hand and lead them on the way to her home and hopefully what would be Sheep's too.

If only fate wouldn't come for Sheep soon they might've considered it but they weren't the one in control of that were they?

(OMG, I finally got it done. I'm sorry for keeping anyone waiting, i'm both a slow worker and have life stuff, Promise their IS more ideas I will be posting. I'm unsure how long those will take or long they will be though, well just have to see. Anyways take care and please use any and all of this for inspiration and reference material to make a fic with, go nuts with changes. Shout outs are appreciated and PLEASE send a link to whatever fic you do.

Love you all ^3^ )

Chapter 6: Star's wish and his legacy

Summary:

(Sad one, star dies from the hit Ceroba gives and talks with him one last time.)

Notes:

(Short but good and sad I think.(

Chapter Text

"Martlet, grab Clover! I'll keep Ceroba at bay!" Star looked at Ceroba shouting to the bird and his favorite deputy he promised to protect. Turning his head slightly he saw a still standing Martlet starting to realize how things may turn out now.

"GO, NOW!"

Star ordered and heard Martlet move as he presumed her to obey. But Ceroba was quicker than he thought and sent harsh looking magic he followed panicked with his eyes as his soul felt dread and sank seeing and hearing the magic explode so violently. Martlet dangled head first over a railing and Clover was knocked out behind him.

"SON OF A!" Starlo charged but was batted hard to the side, he yelled louder then Ceroba expected making her pause in concern turning away from Clover and now seeing him writhe against the railing, her body went cold as she saw the dust starting to form at his chest where she hit him.

"STARLO!" she screamed dropping the staff and mask abandoning them both for her child hood friend, one of the ONLY things she had left in the world dying in front of her.

"C-ceroba I..."

"Nonononono, why didn't you listen!?" Ceorba was shouting as Starlo began to chuckle.

"Hehehe, guess I deserved that hit for trying to kill Clover too huh?" Starlo coughed up dust making Ceroba more distraught.

"Dammit Starlo will you just please be serious!?" She yelled as she felt helpless watching him wither away.

"Ceroba, listen. To. Me..."

Ceroba stiffened at his words, he sounded mad, she felt guilt.

"Ceroba... give up on this damned serum or whatever, it ain't right... this was never Chujin's legacy, his legacy was helping all those folk, everyone, in need and for that he always had my respect. THAT'S his real legacy..." Starlo's form wavered making Ceroba clench his hand and frantically beg for him too not leave her too, too not leave her alone again... Starlo squeezed giving her pause as he began to speak what was probably his last time.

"Ceroba... I always loved you, tell my folks I ain't gonna be home for awhile... And please... take care of Clover... It's my final wish." Ceroba broke down promising over and over on him as he managed to stroke her back still even while dying, Ceroba gave him a desperate kiss on the lips he accepted as he turned to dust and moments later she was left with only his hat she curled in on shaking.

"Wh... Where am I..... Clover! We gotta ge-" Martlet had just awoking and saw Clover passed out but still alive she could see however what she saw was worrying too her, Ceroba at the other end of the rails opposite to her in the fetal position cradling herself with her back turned to them.

"C-ceroba what happend?" she asked cautiously,  and noticed one monster missing.

"Where's Starlo?" she said. Ceroba burst into a fit of the most horrified cries Martlet had ever heard since her attendance to Chujin's death from the fox. Dread hit Martlet's stomach and she moved closer to covering her mouth seeing the visible dust on Ceroba as she folded in on Starlo's hat.

"Wh-what happened." Martlet voice warbled, Ceroba seemed to be in another world as she merely kept crying outloud. Martlet felt tears well and merely stood their frozen processing what had happened, Star was dead... Martlet cried much more quiet and eventually kneeled down and hugged Ceroba from behind as it was the only thing she could think of doing.

Clover would soon enough and see the scene before them happening, they were quite observant it seemed and figured out quickly what happened and tilted their hat down hiding tears, eventually they joined behind Martlet giving a hug best they could as the three wept for the loss of their greatest Star.

(Annnd that's all I could think up. Maybe it's good as a one shot scenario but i'd FULLY love someone to adapt this idea and run with it. That's it for now, till the next one. Remember any and all of this is ok to use for whatever fic your making, I fully support it and merely ask for a shoutout and a link to what story you make. Byyeee!)

Chapter 7: Martlet's Secret Weapon???

Summary:

(what if Martlet didn't REALLY know what to do with the vial she found and thought it was supposed to be injected into the human she'd deemed evil?)

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

"...So you found me huh... Pretty easy when there's so few left."

*CLICK*

 "Not wasting any time. huh?"

"...You know... My whole life... My whole life I was taught that humans are the enemy."

"The truth stared right at me but I chose to look away."

"I tried to see the good - I wanted to believe it wasn't true."

"But you..."

"Any ounce of 'good' you ever had-"

Martlet pulled out the syringe and gripped it tight.

"-is six feet under."

Martlet swept the floor and made dust and sand hit Clover's eyes as the cowboy fired wildly yelling, Martlet bit her tongue as she felt one bullet leave a gnarly mark through her inner wing connecting to her body and rush Clover.

Clover mid reloading in desperation to attack again blindly Martlet still rushing them closed the gap between them quickly and jammed the syringe into his small chest and pushed the plunger down, Clover screamed horribly shoving her off dropping his revolver as he went to grip the massive object embedded in his chest as he hacked and coughed after finally yanking the syringe out of himself having it shatter to the floor while he fell to his hands and knees. Martlet gripped her nearly detached wing to keep it together best she could as she watched her secret weapon work, at least she guessed it was... She truthfully had no idea what it did but whatever it was seemed to be doing something good in her eyes.

As Clover quieted and slowed he seemed to have passed out flat and then went still and silent making Martlet fall to her knees with a gasp... she won... she killed him, she killed this killer... she killed... a child...

It hit her she had taken a life, especially such a young one and felt numb as she saw him lie facedown still, she was expecting him to dust already but wondered if humans even did that when they died? So then what 'did' happen?

She saw the still body and felt disturbed, it was really REALLY disturbing, like a monster 'fallen down' but actually just 'dead' instead of dying... And it was her that did it.

She wanted to throw up... She had done a 'good' thing but at so much cost, from her hesitance to her cowardice leading to alot of deaths she should've prevented and finally a life taken by her hands, even one like his... Who 'knew' why he did what he did, it could NEVER justify the things he did down 'here' but Martlet still wished he would've been different than the human's she always heard about as the enemy from so many monsters in her life...

Maybe they 'were' innocent once but whatever path they went on sent them to her, to die...

Her face dripped with tears that wouldn't stop, she was so confused why she felt the need to even cry for him but she did, for him and the lost monsters they must have taken...

She was about to get up to both go inform the guard, as well as heal her grave wound, and the king of her victory but a vine shot out and wrapped around her torso.

"You just HAD to kill 'em huh bird brain... Do you have ANY idea what I had to put up with to get them here, and now their dead thanks to YOU, AGAIN!? Why do YOU always become the most interfering being in the 'ENTIRE' underground whenever I try enacting my plans!?"

Martlet wanted to yell but her mouth was wrapped in vines, just then she felt immense pain at her damaged wing dangling dangerously to coming off from her shoulder's socket.

"Oh i'm not killing you quickly this time 'feathers'. I'm gonna ENJOY letting my anger out on you for this one, it took WAY too long to get here and now i'll hafta start again!"

Martlet screamed shrieking in bloody murder as a vine purposefully pulled at her damaged wing and slowly with painful force pulled it off like a leg off a cooked bird.

Flowey's demented laugh the last horrifying thing she'd have nightmares about for years if she wasn't already sure she'd be killed soon.

*BANG*

Then something loud stopped the laughter and the vines stopped their tightening around her body and pulling her now ruined wing.

Flowey felt his eye missing and looked genuinely baffled with fright at his inability to having stopped that from happening or even knowing about it coming.

"Wh-what was-" Flowey tried saying out loud before multiple violent shots tore him apart. The second that barrage had begun flowey had tried LOADing, RESETing, ANYTHING!

But he couldn't, he lost it... He lost it all...

One shot, two. Six, and impossible Eight!?

The flower croaked out only a confused question of 'why?' as they wilted over dead.

Clicks were heard, the sound of a empty gun still trying vainly to fire.

Clover was behind Martlet's now dead murderous floral weirdo now standing over the flower trying to keep firing as they bit their lip bleeding and tears streamed down their face.

It was over, this nightmare of repeated cycles of insanity were over, Clover was free... With no resets or saves before they committed so much 'Vengeance'.

Martlet looked horrified seeing the human killer alive and seemingly well still. Well maybe not that 'well' from what she was seeing, infact they felt different somehow.

The vines around her began to wither letting her escape as she groaned hitting the floor clutching her now missing wing arm having been too late to save it after that sadistic torture pulling it out fully leaving her one winged now.

She saw her job wasn't done to see Clover dead and choose to ignore and tie her dust spilling nub tight to prevent anymore dust loss with a tourniquet of ripped off shirt cloth her training had taught her how to do, thank the Angel she was awake for that lesson.

After that she noticed Clover still frozen trying to keep firing at the flower as she approached them, as she finally made it infront of him and the now dead flower she felt something was different, something had 'CHANGED'.

This kid... They didn't 'FEEL' the same, not with the way they were acting.

Martlet had a very acute skill of judging a character. Where the 'Clover' they had felt they killed earlier was a complete 'DEMON' she felt this Clover was not that at all, not even a micro froggit's soul amount.

She felt her own soul in conflict as she once again battled her judgement and her mentor's late words as well as the entire Undergrounds on humans.

'He still did it. Didn't he? Is this even the same human anymore? Why didn't they feel the same to her at all? What had that vial done to Clover?'

A movement scared her out of her thoughts hearing a heavy metallic clank of metal hit the floor and saw Clover fallen to their knees and began too weep into thier hands.

Martlet's heart had won out as she knew in her soul that even though it seemed impossible, this was NOT the same human she had served her justice too a while ago.

She got to her knees and with the only wing left she had she pulled them into an embrace which Clover involuntarily leaned into.

"There there, your alright kid... your good... really good."

(All i could think writing left. I'd say clover gained full determination from the injection and now could break free off flowey, a consequence i think would be remembering every single run they ever did, ultimately they only wanted freedom though and never truly wanted everyone in the underground dead, the other consequence was this could only happen on this route where their consequences are fully cemented even if it gave them their freedom, all the friends they made were either dead or would hate them forever, all but Martlet and her every massive beacon of a kind soul. Probably could so stuff eight after this, maybe Clover explaining best they could about flowey and every reset and their repeated journeys through the underground.

Anyways that's all for the moment, well see what I put out next but i'm sure y'all will enjoy.

Remember any and all work is allowed to be taken and adapted for whatever fic you wanna do, go nuts, I only ask for a shout out and a link to whatever story you guys make.

Love you lots!)

Chapter 8: Little justice?

Summary:

(Strange one, Clover is a actual baby around 3 and get's found by Martlet who in turn has a certain flower pulling strings and whispering in her ear with a 'plan' on getting clover home.)

Chapter Text

A hole in the underground unknown to anyone was open for only the smallest of creatures to fall through. A abandoned extremely young Clover found themselves falling through it after a car drove down the mountain speedily leaving the toddler panicked as the ran and stumbled falling down a sink hole made then and their at a weak spot of the underground roof over snowdin.

Martlet was flying about today surveying her puzzles and patrolling simultaneously, turns out getting a surprise inspection from the captain herself wasn't the best for her current employment and now Martlet was more forced and weary of slacking off and napping at her guard post and now usually patrolled the skies till it was her break and her second shift only required her grounded and patrol around her station.

Martlet heard something near her becoming increasingly closer, before she found out what it was something above slammed at her back sending her with what was on her falling down, in her panic she straightned out and crashed headfirst into her gaurdpost now a pile of wooden debris.

"owowOW, what the heck happend!? Martlet groaned in panic as she was amazed she was still alive and wondered just what the heck smacked her down like that. Actually, now that she thought about it the thing that she felt hit her back in the air was still clutch to her tight from the weight she felt, sitting up she raised a wing to look at what hit her and found herself shocked. A trembling small figure was still death gripping her middle from behind in a hug and made her wince in the slight tightness their hug gave and their clear fear.

Martlet felt her heart dip and worry hit her as she did her best to turn her self around in their arms as she felt she couldn't pry them off, properly facing them sat on her rear in the snow she put a wing around their back and had the other pet their head.

"Hey hey, it's alright your ok now, your safe, I got you."

She cooed more reassuring words of comfort until the young child finally seemed to settle down.

Their sniffling and sharp breaths making their whole body flinch shuddering had lessened till they stopped and took a big breath still face into her stomach. Martlet gave a gentle smile feeling glad she managed to actually come them down.

"There. Better?"

The small child didn't respond and she wondered if they even know exactly what they were saying at all, they were REALLY small and young looking, Martlet decided instead to gently move them off herself to get a look at their face to see if they can recognize them and or who they may be related too. She was rather surprised what she saw.

"O-oh, well this is..." She spoke more to herself but pausing examining them again to confirm her current assessment what this child was, and she hoped she was run.

The child with some tear streaks and snot that was dabbed on to their face had no fur, feathers, scales or any skin color she found was matching descriptions of humans in her guidebook, their little clothing with a striped shirt of yellow and blue with a pair of brown overalls with little brown shoes to match. And their hair was a messy brown mess she found extremely adorable. Their little hands with five fingers all but confirming to her in their appearance and number of limbs listed, their skin peachy and their hair on their head only told her this was a human.

She was afraid to do this last check as it felt... wrong to do but she HAD to confirm.

So gently and with a bit of hesitation she first spoke.

"U-um, I have to check something.... i'm sorry if it scares you." she says before initiating a battle.

The heart shaped object that floated in the air as the world darkened for the two NOW proved her fears right, they were human.

'ohno, ohno, ohno! Why, t-there so young, too young nonono, what do I do!? Their... their just a baby!'

Martlet heard a upset whine and snapped her head away from the yellow soul above and tilted it down to a scared looking child making Martlet's own soul sink. Quickly she disengaged the fight and moved down fast to hug the upset child.

"Nonono, i'm sorry, I scared you didn't I..." she felt them quickly calm again as she now stood up and cradled them, they looked peaceful as they pressed into her side making the bird swoon.

"Awww, your so cute! I... I'm taking you home." she said and began her short walk only to remember a problem, the way to her house from her now obliterated guard station was blocked as the shoddy bridge she had made was broken again, though perhaps Undyne HAD been the one to break the last time with that surprise visit but Martlet knew it would've broken again eventually form her subpar building skills she was working on still. She missed Chujin.

Martlet looked to 'Ava' her 'boat' she had ans remembered she DID have something that could help, though she wondered if it was a good idea, she was sure it'd be fine.

Her own mom taught her this after all much to her embarrassment with the constant nagging for kids, who knew Martlet would be using this in her life at all. Within her chest with her snacks including the trail mix it seems she had left their a bit back after taking anything but those icky raisings, lining the bottom was a basic yellow picnic blanket she used to use on some lunch breaks, after she built her and Chujin's last project being her guard station before he had been seen by her for the last time before she received that invitation... to his funeral, she had been eating their mostly. Looks like her constant snack breaks were helping her once again!

With some effort she wrapped Clover inside it securly as she could and then strapped two twisted end around her back tying it down as tight as possible with many a couple extra knots from her anxiety flaring as she worried this wouldn't work.

Martlet now completed her mother's trick. A baby clover being carried wingless strapped securly to Martlet's chest as Martlet stretched and made movements testing it's safety to insure it would hold for what she was about to do.

She looked now at the broken bridge infront of her and gulped hoping she wasn't endangering a child right now but she couldn't leave them out here and so with a deep breathe the carefully readied themselves to fly.

A hop and flap of her wings started and she realized she had to angle herself slightly awkwardly to fly with the child while moving over the gap of icy waters to her home, she was thankful it wasn't TOO large but it still scared her she could kill this innocent kid if she failed, she prayed this was the one thing she didn't fumble at.

Thankfully she made it to the other side and grabbed and held Clover to calm her own beating chest as she breathed a little too fast from anxiety that flared up. With one last breathe she felt relief wash over her and looked to see Clover looking quite happy, seems like they enjoyed it much to her surprise.

"Heh, had fun huh? You sure are a brave one aren't ya?" she said.

Feeling the cold getting too her, likely do to the sweat she had from all this stress, she moved towards her house. To find the front door locked. Again...

"Martlet you scatterbrain, not again, where did I put my key?" she was not in the mood for this and instead opted to be a bit drastic.

'Sorry Chujin'

She threw out a couple of magic attacks at the door's knob hitting and breaking more then she wanted to leaving a hole where the knob and it's metal frame used to be inside on the floor now.

"...I can fix that later, let's get in now." And pushed the door open an got in, though she didn't expect the whole door to fall over too now on the floor.

"...aw birdseed." she swore after a smack to her head, she heard giggling and saw the child laughing. 'At least their happy right now, I wonder if I should give mom a call, she'd know how to care for a kid, but what in Angel's name should I even tell her??? Not them being human especially, but what would she think if she heard I was taking care of some kid either? She might get the wrong idea... I'll figure it out.'

Martlet carefully stepped around the fallen door inside sat Clover down on the couch with herself flopping back letting out a huge breath she felt release finally being able to relax.

"HUUUEGH, by the Angel that was alot! Gosh... Now what should I do." The little human seemed to move catching her attention as he crawled over babbling to Martlet and onto her lap, she felt her face flush and a smile form again widley on her face as her chest felt warm again.

"You really like me huh... uh, I guess you don't have a name? I mean maybe you do but how would you even tell me, looks like you can't talk after all." Martlet moved her arms to put a wing to their face enjoying the child's curiosity and wonder of her and the world around her, it felt good, really good for some reason seeing the child happy. She did notice however something that wasn't ok right then, they were pretty dirty, and so was she...

"Well, how bout a bathe little fella?" She exclaimed picking them up as the child looked at her joyfully emitting noises attempting to copy her speech. 'So Cute!!!'

Martlet made her way to her bathroom and entered and placed the child in the tub and began to undress before pausing.

"Oh, maybe I shouldn't do that here... um, you know what, just the pants and shoes, i'll leave the shirt on, it'll be fine I got extras!" She spoke, mostly too herself as it was a habit of hers, being on here own was quite lonely after all.

After dressing down as much she thought appropriate enough she turned to the child and undressed them and found out something, inside their clothing was a name she guessed must have been theirs. 'Clover'

"Clover?" she read the name and heard something reply, it was Clover making the noise responding to the name she thought as she saw them look at her.

"Clover?..." She repeated seeing them make a noise again.

'Oh wow, that's adorable, they know their own name, and. So do I now too I guess. Thank goodness Clover has a name, I was worried i'd have to come up with one and I didn't feel Berdly would be a good fit anyway, oh well! Clover is WAY better!'

"Heh, well Clover it's bath time!" And after finishing preparing both set the tub.

ONE VERY NEEDED BATH LATER

Martlet hummed drying herself and Clover off and brushed his messy hair and may have been playing a bit with it since it was so fun to ruffle much to the tot's complaints they made clear enough. After preening some feathers she just thought about something, she didn't have any kinda clothes to fit them, not even her old baby clothes as her mom kept all that stuff at her home in New Home.

"Oh bird seed, Clover I don't have anything for you too wear... Lemme think..." A wing to her chin, she knew the only place she could possibly get clothing would be Upper Snowdin but she couldn't just waltz in with a human to buy them clothes, even if they were an innocent little baby, no, she needed to at least cover them up and maybe she could at least keep them hiding from anyone's view, not like she could leave them here, not with her house having a LOT of tools left out, she was gonna put them away... Eventually. But she focused on Clover right now, getting a spare shirt she wrapped them in it and remembered she'd need to wrap them up again in that diy baby carrier, she used a blanket in her room that looked better than that picnic blanket since it was pretty warm for snowdin too and after some knots and secure tying she was ready.

"Ready to go Clover?" she said with the little happy replying nonsense to his name.

"Let's go!" she exited through her roof and was off.

A small figure was watching from the ground outside her home

"Interesting, VERY Interesting, so a human came to the underground now huh? Well, again I mean but who'd guess they'd be that young and the first monster that was SUPPOSED to kill 'em is a bird brained goody two shoes. Idiot... But perhaps a useful one, maybe I should go and introduce myself and 'HELP' them out, and if it doesn't work out i'll just take that little soul from that human and make the bird watch.

A demented laughter emitted for no one to hear but that schemed and after that they seemed to burrow down away about to ruin a good time.

Ok, that was all i thought about writing, definitely liked writing this and think it's a fun little concept. I really don't know what else would go down and can only really provide a beginning.

(Anyway, go ahead and use any or ALL of this for inspiration and reference to use for any fic you guys wanna make. I just ask for a shout out and link to whatever fic you make. Take care love you buh-bye!)
