Eternal, Perfect, donning your mask

 

Hey, so, why did nobody ever ask

 

Sacrifice your soul to protect your country

 

Yet they still see you as an unfeeling deity

 

Light the candles on the shrine

 

Savoring tastes you will never again dine

 

Through flesh and bone your blade will cut

 

Your friend’s voices now call ‘Come join us!’

Lifeless eyes stare fixed at the ground

 

Waiting for your friends to come around

 

They’ll wipe away a couple tears

 

And get it over with some beers

 

But now you’re with people who see you

But everyone you’ve saved thinks that you’re a liar

 

A Sin on a throne, dressed as a human

 

No one sees your eternal imprisonment
