Athena walks through the doors of Olympus "Father, God King Rarely do I ask for favors Now, I'm knocking on your door With hopes to save a friendship with one who's a prisoner far from home, Odysseus." Athena sings bowing her head as she puts away her spear and Zeus forms from the clouds behind her that surround the colosseum
Zeus places a hand on Athena's shoulder with a smile "Divine intervention, is that what you seek? To untie apprehensions that were placed on that Greek?" Zeus sings with a smirk "You are playing with thunder, for a man full of shame But if he's worth the risk of going under, why not make it a game? Convince each of them that he ought to be released And I'll release him" Zeus sang now standing in front of Athena who slowly lifted her head
Athena raised a brow at the thunder bringer she called father "Who's them?" Athena asked with furrowed brows
Zeus smirked before pillars rose from the clouds from within the colosseum as gods, nymphs, Satyrs, sirens, all kinds of mythical creatures or gods entered the stands of the colosseum
"Apollo!" Zeus yells gesturing to Apollo who'd appeared on his pillar with a burst of light with his lyre in hand
"Hephaestus!" Zeus yells as Hephaestus appears from a burst of fire on his pillar looking not so happy probably having been working on a weapon in his forge
"Aphrodite!" Zeus yells as a clam appears on her pillar and she rises up like she'd been asleep but with a gentle smile
"Ares!" Zeus yells as Ares landed on his pillar with a thud and whoosh with a smirk on his face
"Hera!" Zeus yells as Hera appears on her pillar wearing a revealing yet conservative toga with a veil over her head attached to her laurel
"or me." Zeus says with a smirk placing a hand on his chest "what do you say?" Zeus says with a raised brow
"great!" Apollo said with a smile "very well." Hephaestus grumbles with crossed arms "Eh" Aphrodite huffs "Alright!" Ares says with urgency practically vibrating "Groovy" Hera said with a smirk "...Bring it." Athena says with a smile before turning into her white owl form and flying to Apollo's pillar
Athena turned back when she arrived and Apollo smirked "Apollo!" those in the stands said with glee
"You all know I'm a fan of catchy songs So with so many sirens gone, I think Ody's in the wrong" Apollo sang with a smile before walking around Athena while stringing his lyre
Athena's eye twitched at him obviously he was not going to listen but she was gonna shoot the arrow when she has a shot "They were trying to do him worse All he did was reimburse them Now they'll tread with caution first To live another day and sing another verse" Athena sings grabbing Apollo's Lyre and stringing it herself
Apollo raised a brow but smirked "If that's true, release him" Apollo said before Athena left and turned to her white owl form and flew to Hephaestus' pillar "Hephaestus!" those in the stands said with smirks or disgust for the disabled god
Athena turned back when she arrived and Hephaestus wasn't even looking at her just continuing his work on the weapon he'd been forging before he was summoned "Trust is not given, it's forged Why should I give him my support? He sacrificed his own cohort." Hephaestus sang with furrowed brows gesturing to Greek pot that had the scene of Odysseus and his men carved on it with the men about to get killed by Zeus's thunder
Hephaestus looks to the pot and his lips part before he sighs and raised his blistered calloused hand "Fine, release him" Hephaestus sings before throwing a spear Athena's way and smiling at his younger sister softly as she flys to Aphrodite’s pillar in her white owl form
Athena turned back when she arrived and found Aphrodite in her springs unclothed while bathing in the springs (like the ones you can visit in Greece) "Aphrodite" Those in the stands purr
Aphrodite turns to Athena still in the waterfall of her bathing springs "Your little high and mighty Odysseus Claims to love his mother, but let her die of a broken heart" Aphrodite sings with a snap swishing her hand in the water to showing Odysseus' mother in the shimmering waters crying
Athena's brows furrowed "he was busy fighting!" Athena argued but Aphrodite rolled her eyes "More like busy spiting the Cyclops" the goddess of Love and Beauty snapped flicking her hands showing Polyphemus in the waters crying blood from her plunged in eye socket "Let him feel the pain that his mother felt and rot!" Aphrodite hissed walking out the springs with a himation wrapped around her body
Athena stepped forward "Wait, please reconsider this" Athena said reaching her hand towards Aphrodite now closer to the goddess without stepping inside the shimmering waters the colors of the scenery turning lighter from Athena taking charge
"Really Athena? These old tricks?" said a deep voice before Ares came crashing onto Aphrodite’s pillar changing the scenery to a battlefield with broken swords, armor, and shields and hitting Athena with his spear with a smirk
Athena clutched her head as she stumbled backwards "Ares!" Athena growled her eyes blazing "Ares, Ares!" those in the crowd cheered for the war god
"What kind of sick coward holds back his power While his friends get devoured?" Ares growled swinging his spear causing Athena to summon her shield with the head of Medusa carved into it "He didn't even fight Scylla, didn't even try to kill her!" Ares growls swinging his spear without pausing "Hides inside a wooden horse to get the job done Never handles things upfront Pathetic and weak like his son!" Ares sings loudly with a grin swinging his spear but Athena caught it with rage in her eyes
Athena sneered at the warful brute "Hold your tongue now, his son's my friend!" Athena sings with a growl swinging her own spear causing Ares to back up and take a protective stance over Aphrodite "And tell your lover that a broken heart can mend You want more bloodshed? Then set him free to get back to his homestead He'll make everybody bleed!" Athena growled her many forms coming into her one before she went back to her god form and Aphrodite was clutching Ares' bicep and Ares looked at his big sister with worry knowing he'd pissed her off "Uh, release him" Ares and Aphrodite said in unison
"Hey, baby" said a calm voice as Athena got to Hera's pillar "Hera!" those in the stands called out with glee as the queen of Gods pillar showed the scenery of her palace with peacocks roaming the palace freely with nymphs fanning her
"So many heroes, so many tales Give me one good reason why yours should prevail" Hera sang with a loud booming voice and a smirk and Athena clenched her fists in determination "He's got the mind of a genius!" Athena sings but Hera walks to a nymph grabbing the goblet full of ambrosia the Nymph held out to her "try harder" Hera sang calmly
"He's pretty skilled with words" Athena sings trying to get to the goddess through a bunch of peacocks "you can do better than that" Hera said sipping her ambrosia while a nymph touches up her make up
"He's kind of funny?" Athena sings with a shrug and Hera just groans turning away as something comes to Athena's mind "Never once has he cheated on his wife" Athena sang with a smirk as Hera stops in her tracks and breaks her goblet and turns to Athena with a smirk "Release him" Hera said with a smile
Athena and Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and Hera stood before Zeus again with Hera looking at her husband judgementally since Odysseus could go 20 years without cheating and Zeus couldn't go 20 miliseconds without cheating "I've played your game and won. Release him." Athena said with furrowed brows
Zeus looks down at his smart daughter and gripped the arms of his throne so hard they cracked "You dare to defy me? To make me feel shame? No one beats me, no one wins my game!" Zeus sings with a growl standing up thunder crackling in the background as he did so "Thunder, bring her through the wringer Show her I'm the judgment call The one who makes her kingdom fall!" Zeus sings in a loud booming voice before striking Athena with lightning and Hera looks away and Ares steps in front of Hera, Apollo, Hephaestus, and Aphrodite shielding them from the blast of lightning
"Is she dead?" Ares asked before Athena got a flashback of when Odysseus had first shown Telemachus to her the small boy in a dark blue cloth before she shakily got up and started ascending the stairs to Zeus's throne
the egotistical god of thunder strikes her with lightning every 20 steps with Athena turning into her other forms just to survive from the sharp lightning strikes and Hera flinched every time before when she finally got up to the top she fell and grabbed her fathers ankle with her charred feather like hands "Let him go, please Let him go" Athena pleaded with her father before passing out and Hera caught her head
