Chapter Text
𝟏𝟗𝟖𝟕, 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐬.
𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟏 𝐏𝐌 "So tacky.." Erik leaned near the front entrance of the Calabasas family home, dimly lit by two absurdly elegant looking porch lamps, noting all the detail in the decoration also taking the time to fix his hair in the reflection of the window pane. Porsche headlights shone through the gateway which only meant the man himself has arrived home.
"About time." Erik scoffed to himself with a grin on his face as he hopped down to greet Lyle and his college friend who had proven to not be the best example.
Opening the door, Lyle was no where near a real being in his little brother's eyes. Dressed in a cream colored button up T-shirt with black slacks that were just fitting in the right area, paired alongside a leather belt for some shine. His mind nearly gave out on him right there.
"Erik, you handsome thing, how've you been?" Lyle asks, almost out of breath as he drapes his arms over him. "You know, you look fuckin' amazing? Maybe it's just dark out, but I'd say even better than a couple months ago!"
Since Lyle's gone off for Princeton, any chance for Erik to spend time with his big brother has become realistically impossible to get. The only thing keeping Erik going is the calls he receives from him.
When he slurs all drunk and sweet.
Struggling during exam season, where he has that rasp in his voice which Erik, oh so desperately wanted to sear permanently into his brain.
Every part of Lyle drove him crazy.
Erik rolls his eyes, leaving a casting shadow from his long eyelashes, he will drink every compliment Lyle Menendez gives him.
"You're a lot.. frattier compared to last time 'ya know?" He managed to wheeze out as Lyle hugged the rest of the air from his lungs.
"I'll let you know you've got it real good here, Erik, better weather, and you don't need to worry about passing exams shitfaced.." Donovan added while chucking out designer suitcases from the trunk.
"Fuck Menendez, how does one accumulate so much shit!"
"A man has got to invest a bit, and anyway a good amount of those things happen to be for Erik, could say he's a bit spoiled." Lyle pointed out with a sweet glaze in his voice that pushed Erik to the brink.
"Ly, I really do appreciate it.." Erik admitted with a soft tone.
That familiar warmth his body releases near Lyle was suffocating.
A smile crept up on Lyle. "Go on and get inside Erik. Don and I will get all this crap inside and be back in a bit, unless you want to suffer heavy labor with no price?"
Donavon let out a chuckle watching Erik's face cringe at the offer.
And with that Erik shook his head along with a grimaced expression and made his way back inside.
No fucking thanks..
Sitting on the cold marble counter, Erik made sure every part of him was perfect for Lyle.
Freshening up and slipping on a Ralph Lauren set a size too large for his lean and slimmer frame.
Making sure he's pristine for his older brother.
"I don't understand, why do I admire Lyle so much? I feel that I need him in every aspect of my life, not just a brother. For him to admire me and savor me, just as I do him. Every lingering touch and kiss on the head I absolutely adore, need more of it." Erik spoke hopelessly on the phone to another person on the line.
"Listen, it isn't hormones, this is anything but hormones. I yearn for him more than I do life, I want him and I to be one," Erik stuttered. "it isn't just sexual. This is not lust..."
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐬.
Erik Menendez wasn't handsome; there was no flaw to be found on the man. Erik Menendez had sexual appeal with women and men. The perfect fusion of masculinity and a feather-like embrace.
Lyle, however, allowed himself a small break before returning to his little brother, intrigued by an offer Donovan threw him.
He panted out lowly, feeling the cool California air burn his raw sinuses as he snorted the white substance from a set of keys.
"Mmm, fuck, shit hit me hard."
Donovan let his head hang back and leaned into the rough stucco walls on the outside of the Menendez home.
"I know that's right, need to make," He sniffed. "sure we have a good time. You feel good don'tcha!?"
A heavy laugh pushed past Lyle's lips. "Definitely do, can't argue with that."
"Atta' boy."
"Gotta get back in, Erik's been waiting a bit for me, can't say I haven't been waiting to spend time with him as well."
Donovan let out a faint smirk. "Yeah yeah.. You two got that strong sibling bond, huh?" His words came out more so stated than questioned.
"Nothing stronger than that." Lyle adds.
"Take it Menendez, maybe baby brother gon' wanna try some." Was the last exchange between the two for the night as Lyle was thrown a small bag filled with the remaining powder, the other man shot him a wink proceeding to walk off.
Lyle let out a cackle and dismissed Donovan, pushing through numerous shrubs Kitty had planted on the sides of the house to get through to the backyard, finally making his way inside.

He stripped himself of his shirt, unable to contain his excitement as he made ushered himself up the stairs to Erik's room, seeing the door slightly ajar as it illuminated the dark hallway.
𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐤
Lyle pressed the door open with a swift movement to see his little brother Erik, stilling for a few seconds to truly soak in the view.
Flat on his stomach.
Legs swaying in the air.
Shorts a bit too short to be seen by everybody without odd assumptions.
"Look at you, E, so relaxed." Lyle said, his tone enthusiastic as his eyes scanned over Erik's body, quickly flicking the attention to the papers on his bed. "I held up a bit, you know how Donovan persists to keep conversation going."
Erik held back any action of desire his body threatened to take. "I'd thought so, it's no worry, really.. I'd gotten stuck finishing a not so little research project I share with Craig." The statement coming out of genuine annoyance from how long it was taking them to finish.
Slowly tilting his head back, Erik couldn't help looking up at Lyle with those warm hazel eyes that he knew he couldn't help staring back into. Grazing a hand on Erik's shoulder, Lyle threw himself down on his back besides his baby brother, the light scent of jasmine and wood caressed his nose.
"You're doing real good like that, Erik, keep up with that. You're such an— what's the word?" Lyle stared at the wall for a few seconds, allowing his brain to fry itself further. "Fuck, yes, Erik, you're such an intellect!"
"Not too hard of a word.." Erik lightly chuckled. "But you really think so Lyle? I want to make you proud along with everybody else of course."
"Erik you already do so, believe me. I don't think I know anybody else who's 16 years old possessing such passion and knowledge as you do for arts," He shifted to face Erik, gently pressing a kiss behind his ear.
"Don't worry about that baby, everybody can see something in you." Lyle softly whispered.

The sweet confirmations lulled his baby brother right to sleep, pressed hard against Lyle's chest. He felt how lightly he breathes against his skin, how fragile he truly is.
Lyle couldn't help touching Erik, even just his pretty little lips. Dipping his index finger inside to slide his fingertips against his tongue. Lyle grinned to himself and let the poor boy sleep.
There was more fun to be had now that he'd been suspended from Princeton.
