Dang it. She didn’t realize Coco would take it that hard, and she didn’t even know she had accidentally crossed a line. She trembled under Sam's glare. He was quite intimidating when angry.
Smurfette pulled Coco out of the way as a ninja star was thrown at her head. Sam blinked at her as his sword intercepted the thrower's head. " You… we’re mad at you, and yet you save her…. Why?”
“Well, because she’s my best friend! Of course I’d save her even if we got in a fight.. You too, you’re both my friends!”
Sam grunted, and he and Coco shared a look. Coco allowed a small smile.
She doesn’t even know how she did it, but somehow she made up with them. Sam Coco and she walked down the road, doing a third lap before they could enter the sewers, and she would meet Coco's other brothers. Coco slung an arm around her shoulder, and she thought she saw Sam smile. “Ya know,” Coco started, “you’re pretty alright… sis”
Smurfette gasped, and Sam chuckled, “And you’re an okay fighter too. A week of training, and you’ll be as good as us, sister.”
Smurfette smiled and hugged them both. He laughed, “Alright, alright, don’t get mushy on us.”
Both girls laughed as they continued walking. They’d be good. They’d be a family
