Growing up, apocalypse style

Summary:

Everyone knows surviving in the apocalypse with a baby is hard, but surviving in the apocalypse with a half-zombie baby who attracts Zs is worse

Notes:

This was requested by a friend of mine over on Discord, I'll put the request below

'So my idea is simple: this au where Lucy lives with the group and they raise a little zombie princess. Just some ridiculous/funny, maybe dangerous stuff. Murphy learning to be a dad and be responsible for two. If you need an explanation of what happened to the mission, CZ warned them that anything related to Merch is bad blah blah blah, Warren will find a way to make a vaccine for humans, but for now, the group just sticks together. Also if you can fit it in somewhere, I like the idea of ​​Lucy having limited control over Murphy like she did with Pa and Ma, talking with their mouths/using their hands. Little lucy wanted to try a weird bone - little lucy used murphy's hand to get to the bone, and he doesn't immediately realize what his daughter is doing, as if he was arguing with 10k when Murphy's hand started living its own life and 10k was just "lmao what😃" these are just random things, you can do with this idea whatever you want! Cassandra is alive in this au'

Whenever Lucy bites someone, she doesn't age ( because I find that stupid) she can heal people but doesn't age

S3 doesn't happen. Murphy doesn't go to Zona, and nobody dies ( Cassandra, Vasquez, etc)

There will be chapters with individual characters interacting with Lucy along with them as a group interacting with Lucy, I might also throw in a couple of chapters following certain episodes ( idk yet)

Lucy knows Serena is her mom, but she also sees Warren as her mom, too ( I'll definitely make a chapter on this)

I'm not used to writing in Third person POV but I promise I'm gonna try, if I slip up KINDLY let me know

Lucy's age will change depending on what I decide to write

I forgot to mention but there will also be chapters just focusing on Lucy herself too

Chapter Text

Warren 

Lucy knows that Warren isn't her real mom and she'll always view Serean as her mom but on occasions, she'll slip up and call Warren mom or mama ( on accident and then on purpose, after she gets older and realizes that Warren isn't going to replace Serean)

Addy 

Addy's like her aunt or big sister, Lucy always goes to her when her dad is being a jerk or annoying, especially when she's older 

10k 

At first, 10k didn't really like her not only because he's never been around babies but because she was Murphy's daughter and he was terrified she'd be like him, but as she grows older he realizes that she's nothing like her dad, Lucy calls him uncle 10 or 10k ( like the others 

Doc

Doc is the grandpa who accidentally teaches Lucy bad things + tells her things she probably doesn't need to know, but he also gives good advice and is a good shoulder to cry on

Vasquez 

Lucy and Vasquez don't really get along when she's older because Murphy told her about how Vasquez acted when she was a baby and she took offense to that, but if Lucy's in trouble he will help because he's not the type to let a kid get hurt, no matter how much he doesn't like them

 

Cassandra 

Cassandra is like her personal babysitter/bodyguard,  once in a while Lucy can get into her head and give her commands kinda like how her dad can, but she can also see flashbacks of how she was before she was a blend

Notes:

I didn't add Murphy only because we know what his role is in her life

The next few chapters will be Lucy learning how to talk, walk, and learning how to use her powers
